History:

General Alexander Cran rose up in the history books before the Ridiarium War, attaching himself to various projects such as the Weapons Project, where he manipulated the DNA for the first Weapon, Chad Winters, so he would be his own son. From there he made friends with General Vennie Cartwright and the two forged a group together during the Ridiarium War in which both grew in prominence. General Cran was responsible for the creation of the Dragoon Alpha Project, the Beta Project, and even the Omega Project, in which he took a nearly dead girl, Angela Bennet, and remade her into a Dragoon Omega and adopted her as his own daughter. After the war, he rose to such prominence that even achieved the Presidency of EarthGov, before he was "killed" by V.I. agents.

But his story did not begin there, so it seems, when investigations showed that Alexander Cran had been around for about 300 years, which they noted on Famfrit's past. There they learned the man kept himself alive by clones but each time the tissue became more degraded and when a clone virus became rampant, General Cran played his hand and revealed he had not died by V.I. and attempted to get the genetics of Aya Winters, the daughter of his son Chad Winters, in order to stableize himself. He died.

One of his clones, however, managed to escape being assimilated by the man and grew into his own being. This clone revealed himself when Aya was accelerated in age by V.I. agents - he stopped it, but also gave her powers and abilities by playing with his genetics. This put him at odds with Chad Winters, who he viewed as a brother, since he didn't have the previous General Cran's memories nor a desire for his legacy. Slowly Alexander, as he called himself, rose to power and became President of EarthGov, playing himself off as a family member of the previous Cran. He's aided the team numerous times throughout the years, proving he has the best of intentions at times. However, when the group went looking for the Progenitor Ship, he became stuck on it when it took off for unknown space. What he will do now has yet to be seen - is he a good man, or just the same as the General?
