History:

Chad Winters was the first of the creations under the Weapon Project, headed by a scientist named Johnson. Infused with part of his DNA, and an unknown donor for his mother, he was labeled Weapon I - Id. He was trained to be a special ops soldier who was raised to kill any person in his way, and take any guise necessary to complete his work. Id was ruthless, pychotic, and a sadist.

However, Alexander Cran implanted his own DNA into Id, and began to work to bring out the intelligence in him after he managed to get control of the Weapons Project years later. But this was all for naught, until he finally assigned Id to work at PAX in order to be a spy, and to take out Ariel, the "Mother". Nearly successful in his job, Id was defeated by Katrina McCormick and a wild blast of energy from the station's core, and his memory was erased. He took on the false name he used, Chad Winters, and eventually Warren Carmichael, head of security for PAX, took him under his wing to train him to be a better man. When he met Alpha Zephyr, the two honed each other's human emotions with pranks and teasing, forming a mutual affection for one another.

After the PAX was destroyed, Chad worked for President Alexander Cran in hopes to get closer to a family. There he met Eve Summers, and the two developed a firm bond, so that when she was taken by V.I., he worked tirelessly to rescue her from them. Eventually he was successful in freeing her and turning back the brain washing they did, and the two began to live together, becoming closer. Eve became pregnant with his daughter, but after Wind attacked and he thought she was killed, he began to spiral into darkness. It was months later he learned she was alive in a hospital under Jane Doe, and there his daughter was born - he managed to fight off V.I.'s attempts to take her.

From there, battling with the emerging Id personality and other factors, Chad began to claw his way to becoming a father to his daughter, Aya. His and Zephyr's relationship became rocky due to the influence of Id, but eventually, once back on Earth, Chad began to raise Aya as best he could - until V.I. accelerated her aging. Learning there was a clone of General Cran, his father, he took him to her. Now having to deal with a teenage daughter, Chad was thrust into more situations time and again as he worked with the Erevis team. Eventually he managed to not only destroy Id, but also V.I.

Struggling with the dark side of his nature, and the desire for peace with his daughter, Chad has continually been thrust forward in life, and is now stuck on a Progenitor ship with others, including the clone Alexander Cran, a clone of Eve, and Angela Bennet who has returned from the dead. Only time will tell how Chad deals with the stress of all these factors, and what role he will play as the lines are drawn within the group itself.
