<DeathStar> 6* The dark matter ball flies down the alley toward the hero's heads.
* Drasek glances up. "Oh bugger." He tenses, moving to dive out of the way.
* Angela ducks and rolls, grabbing Darien with her.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis wraps her arms around Megumi, and throws them backwards.
<DeathStar> 6* The dark matter ball explodes, sending brick and debris flying.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lands roughly with Angela, getting hit by flying debris
* Drasek covers his head, getting pegged with a nice number of the bricks.
* Chad`Winters eyes Ariel, than waves his hands about.
<DeathStar> 6* The building suddenly shifts and falls toward our hapless heroes.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances upwards, his eyes widening.
* Drasek lifts himself up, moving to escape the evil alley.
* Megumi attempts to recover, sitting up slightly and shaking her head quicky. 1"...Ugh.."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis shields Megumi with herself as the building lands on them.
* Drasek doesn't quite make it out, he's not superman afterall.
<DeathStar> 6* He's a Progenitor.
<Megumi> E-Erevis!
* Angela grabs Darien and moves him with her.
<Angela> "Don't just stand there watching..."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rolls with Angela, laying on top of her as the building lands beside them.
* Megumi slams her hand into the ground and expels a burst of force to break what's directly upon them. She's not the kind to be able to drag people around anymore.
* Angela blushes a little.
<DeathStar> 6* The bricks go flying off of them.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien pushes himself up, only to get a tendril through the shoulder. He yells.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr returns and dyeS Ariel's hair as she naps again
* Angela rises, severing the tendril with her sword.
<Angela> "I suggest running."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien falls to his knees, the tendril still in him after being severed.
* Chad`Winters smiles as he watches Zephyr work her evil. 1"Don't forget to get the roots."
* Drasek pulls himself up out of the rubble. "..." he mumbles something in an english accent.
<DeathStar> 6* More tendrils emerge from the shadows, and since it's night, that's thousands of directions. They aim for Drasek and Angela.
* Megumi coughs and swipes her hand at the air, trying to clear the dust around her and Erevis so she can see something. She has darkvision, not dustvision.
* Angela forms a shield, sending it rippling out towards the tendrils, grabbing Darien up she starts to run.
<DeathStar> 6* Megumi has a semi-light Erevis on top of her, apparantly unconscious after being crushed.
<DeathStar> 6* The tendrils shatter the shield easily.
* Drasek arches a brow and would avoid those that count, but for the most part he would just retreat back.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien is grabbed, thrown off balance, and he takes another hit in the leg.
<DeathStar> 6* Five tendrils launch down at Erevis' back
* Angela does her best to keep him moving, not sticking around to count more tendrils!
* Megumi forms a shorter blade within her left hand and swipes for them.
<DeathStar> 6* The tendrils are cut
<DeathStar> 6* Darien runs along with Angela, bleeding and cursing.
* Ariel really needs to get more sleep.
* Megumi takes her free hand and shakes Erevis. 1"...C-come on, wake up..!"
* Drasek pauses and shifts, moving in now to grab Erevis and lift her up. "No time for that, pet." He quickly begins to retreat.
<DeathStar> 6* Tendrils shoot from the walls at Drasek
* Megumi drives forward to attack them, since Drasek has Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Megumi's shadow is pegged by a tendril and her movement stops.
* Megumi freezes and struggles slightly. 1"...What the..?"
<Drasek> Bloody hell this hero gig isn't all it's cracked up to be. *He says after he notices Megumi stop moving, he shifts Erevis over his shoulder and moves to grab Megumi by the shirt and drag her along.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien yanks Angela into a hidden alley, and he pauses to get his breath.
<Drasek> *
<DeathStar> 6* Megumi's shadow is freed.
* Chad`Winters grabs his beer and he stands up. Taking a drink.
<Drasek> Don't let them get your shadow or you're royally screwed. *he comments, letting Megumi regain herself*
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr adds in some interesting colors while Ariel sleeps.
* Angela pulls out something from her tact belt. She leans down and patches up his leg.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien holds his shoulder, wincing. "I hate those things."
* Ariel looks at Zephyr, as she was no longer asleep at this point.
<Megumi> How would I avoid that...? Shadows are relevant to the light present...
<Angela> "Me too. Me too."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr pauses, then smiles. No mirror to give her away. "Hi!"
<Ariel> "...what are you doing?"
<Chad`Winters> Rise and shine. 6He smiles
<DeathStar> 6* Two Dark Ones materialize from the darkness in front of Drasek and Megumi.
<Drasek> You stupid? You run, that's what you do. *he shakes his head, mumbling something*
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Oh, nothing. Now stop moving.
<Megumi> I am from a world of darkness, shadows have never been a concern.
<DeathStar> 6* They launch tendrils at both.
* Drasek slides to a halt, eyeing them. "Bugger." He shifts to dive to the left.
* Megumi slashes, ineffective long range, but at midrange she's developed the wave slash, dealing with her end that way and attacking her's at the same time.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leans around the corner to look around.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark One's tendrils are stopped, but they vanish and reappear behind her, in actual striking distance. They swing at her head.
* Drasek pulls himself up, moving to run again, he glances at Erevis slightly to make sure she's alright.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leans back. "Looks clear."
* Chad`Winters pulls out his datapad and he holds it up towards Ariel and Zephyr. 1"Smile."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr smiles, doing the peace sign.
<Chad`Winters> 6A flash goes off and he puts his datapad away.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr goes back to her creation.
<Chad`Winters> Either of you two seen Angela? 6He rocks on the balls of his feet, his hand behind his back now
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> She left.
* Megumi turns and slashes swiftly again with the 'physical' portion of her immaterial blade using a bit of a notion toward speed and relying on the blade's cutting power.
<Megumi> How do we escape from this...?
<DeathStar> 6* No one answers Megumi. Seems Drasek ran off.
<Angela> "Let's head back then."
* Megumi twitches angrily. 1"I do not have time to think."
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Ones retreat back, vanishing
<DeathStar> <Darien> Doesn't mean it is clear, though
<Chad`Winters> Excellent. 6He pulls something from his back pocket and he turns, moving off to her apartment room
<Megumi> I take it back...
* Megumi collapses briefly to her knees and huffs, regaining her breath, peering around with one eye for the others.
<DeathStar> 6* A Dark Matter ball flies down at Megumi's head.
<Angela> "Or we could wait here for them to find us."
<Megumi> Son of a...
* Megumi digs her heel in and leaps aside.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Mmmm
<DeathStar> 6* Darien crosses his arms, saying nothing
<DeathStar> 6* The DArk Matter ball impacts and explodes outward.
* Ariel glances around for a mirror, feeling dread.
<DeathStar> 6* There is one, but not at the right angle.
* Angela inspects his shoulder wound.
<DeathStar> 6* It's got a tendril in it.
* Ariel silently curses her luck
* Megumi drives the immaterial into the ground to slow her expulsion, then takes off running in a dead sprint out of the remaining bits of alley after the blade disappates from her lack of energy.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr hums a happy tune, acting like a kid.
<DeathStar> 6* No more attacks follow up on Megumi.
* Megumi slows her pace to something more manageable, paranoically gazing around as she wheezes for breath.
<DeathStar> 6* Snow lightly drifts down.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns. "Okay, I'm heading back." 6* He begins to work his way back to ground zero.
* Megumi leans her head back and hisses angrily. 1"...Where are they? -Both- ...of them...?"
* Angela moves with him quietly.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grabs the tendirl and rips it out.
* Angela winces, and patches him up as they move. "Damn, how did you not just scream?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> I bit my tongue.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr finishes. "All done1"
<Angela> "Fancy."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien reaches the ruined alley, yelling out. "Megumi! Erevis!"
* Chad`Winters steps back into the lobby, a look of pure confidence on his face.
<Megumi> I am... out here... Darien...
<DeathStar> 6* Darien jogs over.
* Ariel sits up, and looks to Zephyr. "...do you have a mirror handy?"
<Megumi> Since you were-- Asking about her...
<Megumi> I assume you do not... know where Erevis is...
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr looks innocent. "Why do you want a mirror?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> You're quite the investigator.
* Angela follows, she shakes her head a little.
* Megumi punches the ground with an angry inhale.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien helps Megumi up.
* Ariel pauses worriedly, "...why are you questioning it?"
<Chad`Winters> She was just braiding your hair Ariel.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr makes a cute hurt face. "You don't trust me?"
* Megumi shakes her hand, wincing, not used to it hurting so much to punch things.
<Megumi> That... jerk ran off with her...
<DeathStar> <Darien> That Drasek boy?
* Megumi grinds her teeth in response.
<Ariel> "Originally, I just wanted to see how it turned out. The fact you don't want me to see..." *goes to look in the mirror*
<DeathStar> <Darien> He's not her type. Or ... he might be now.
<Megumi> Over my dead body... and perhaps not even then.
<DeathStar> 6* Ariel has a pretty pink colored hair. Zephyr begins to sneak off.
<Angela> "He makes me look stable."
* Chad`Winters snickers, his hand moving to his face.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Anyone makes you look stable.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Do you have cat senses that can smell her out?
<Ariel> "...Zephyr. This isn't red. It's closer to 'cotton candy'."
* Megumi presses a palm to her face. 1"...I am from a dark planet. I can see without light and I hear exceptionally well. I do not... track scents..."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr freezes, turning around slowly. "I-I thought pink was pretty."
* Megumi clutches slightly. 1"Where... Where would he retreat to?"
* Chad`Winters quickly turns moving off to Zephyrs room to get something
* Angela crosses her arms.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rubs the back of his head. "Probably off somewhere to molest her in the name of the Progenitors."
* Ariel turns to look at her. "Well... I suppose you need a disguise too." She considers. "How fond are you of... green?"
* Chad`Winters comes back in holding Aya in his arms. 1"Isn't Ariel's hair pretty?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr pauses, holding up her hands. "Now wait a minute. No one would suspect me."
<DeathStar> <Aya> Oooo! Pretty! 6* She reaches out to touch Ariel's hair.
* Chad`Winters moves over close to Ariel so Aya can play with her pretty pink hair.
* Megumi clenches her hands, glaring at Darien. The air starts feeling rather downtrodden again.
<Megumi> Erevis said no.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I know.
* Ariel pauses, "Careful Aya... it's still setting. You'll get your hands all pink."
<DeathStar> <Darien> That's why I used the word molest.
<Megumi> He did not seem like the type-- But if he does, I will kill him. Have you objections?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Nah.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya looks sad.
<DeathStar> <Darien> My question is why did the Dark Ones leave us alive?
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr runs off.
* Megumi looks a little surprised. 1"For once a human does not object..."
* Megumi glances up at Darien. 1"...Their true prey was the progenitors."
<Chad`Winters> Well Aya, I'm sure Ariel'll let you play with her hair all you want when it dries.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Hm. Probably. Which means the british guy and Erevis are in danger.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya looks conciled
<Megumi> I realize that, but I have no idea where to look.
* Terra knocks on the door
<DeathStar> <Darien> Neither do I. Lets go back to the apartment.
* Terra knocks on Ariel's door, in fact
<DeathStar> 6* Aya turns to peer at Terra knocking on the door, while everyone is in the lobby.
* Chad`Winters glances back into the hallway to the apartment rooms. 1"Any reason why Terra's knockign on your door, Ariel?"
<DeathStar> <Aya> She crazy!
<Megumi> I... do not want to without Erevis.
* Megumi holds her hand over her mouth and coughs slightly.
<DeathStar> <Darien> We might need the others to find her, Megumi. Unless you plan to look around blindly.
<Chad`Winters> Well put. 6He watches Terra.
<Angela> "Let's just go."
* Megumi stares at Darien blankly. Wandering around aimlessly worked before.
<Megumi> I...
* Ariel shrugs a little, and starts to clean up things from Zephyr's experiment.
* Terra sighs, closing her eyes tightly, seeming distracted by something
<DeathStar> <Darien> Do what you want, then
<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns to walk back to the apartment.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya looks at chad. "Me want pink hair."
<Chad`Winters> When your 18.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya gives him a cute pouty look
* Angela walks with Darien.
* Megumi glances at the ground, scowling. After a moment she trudges after the two.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr hides out.
<Chad`Winters> Nice try Aya, but you need more work on the delivery. 6He taps her nose with his finger.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya holds her breath
* Angela looks at Darien as they walk.
<Angela> "Need something for the pain?"
* Chad`Winters sighs and tickles her belly
<DeathStar> 6* Darien walks along, then blinks, eyeing his shoulder. "I--don't really feel any pain."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien seems vaguely confused, like he lost his keys.
<Angela> "Can you feel your arm...?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien waves his arm. "Yes."
* Angela looks over his wound.
<Terra> "... hey... where's Erevis gotten to...?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr keeps hiding from Ariel, afraid of her wrath
* Megumi walks along quietly, her eyes shut and listening intently to the surroundings.
<Chad`Winters> Not sure. 6He continues tickling Aya
<DeathStar> 6* It appears to be okay, for having been punctured.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien opens the doors and steps in.
<Terra> "Mmm... shame... I was hoping to talk to her about something."
<Angela> "Well, DS spent a lot of time honing that body in jail... well... you did... you get what I mean."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yeah, I'm fit like a horse.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes everyone. "Did Erevis come back?"
* Chad`Winters looks over at Darien than the hole in his shoulder. 1"Some people go out and get tattoos when they want to differentiate themselves from the crowd."
* Ariel looks at Darien, "I thought you were with her?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Dark Ones attacked.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Good news. She didn't cut her hair.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien does a thumbs up
* Chad`Winters gives him a thumbs up back.
<Terra> "... Erevis is gone? ... well, shit..."
* Megumi moves past Darien, avoiding eye contact as she takes up resident near one of the halls.
<Chad`Winters> So you were attacked. 6He shuffles Aya to a different arm. 1"And got split up, right?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Anyway, long story short, a Progenitor called Dessy showed up, said something about mating with Erevis and bringing back the Progenitors, then Dark Ones attacked, and Dessy ran off with Erevis.
<Angela> "We assume they're off mating."
<Terra> "..."
* Megumi punches the wall.
<Ariel> "......"
<Chad`Winters> Dizzy? What kind of name is that?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien crosses his arms. "And since they're not back here, Angela's theory is my first line of thought"
* Megumi promptly groans, rubbing her knuckles.
* Terra flickers with flame, punching the wall herself
<DeathStar> 6* Darien watches the wall catch on fire and they all die in a horrible blazing inferno
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shakes his head, clearing the image.
* Chad`Winters looks over at Megumi and Terra. 1"Would you two not destroy out home?"
<Terra> "..."
* Megumi would have done more damage to her hand than the wall even if it was sheetrock.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Anyway, we need to find a way to locate Erevis.
<DeathStar> <Darien> How's your bond, Ariel?
* Chad`Winters looks over at Ariel
<Ariel> "...non-existant."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods slowly, then looks blank. "Well, there goes THAT plan."
<Chad`Winters> It broke when Erevis died for briefly."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks completely lost, as if he doesn't know what to do. He stares blankly at the floor.
<Chad`Winters> We could listen to the police waves and see if theres anything happening on that.
* Terra has been looking like that all the time
<Megumi> It is better than nothing, however, it would seem that until the progenitors themselves or the Dark Ones make a noticeable move, we are at a loss to their location.
<DeathStar> <Darien> No bond... 6* He sighs.
<Chad`Winters> Well Erevis knows where we are so her first decision will be to come back here.
* Ariel shakes her head, "That didn't kill it completely. This Erevis appearing did."
<DeathStar> <Darien> So she's a fake.
<Angela> "Not fake..."
<Angela> "But different."
<Megumi> Something happened in her own world that severed ties.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Different enough a brain waves can't lock onto Ariel's?
* Terra stares at the floor, something bringing up bad memories
* Chad`Winters pulls out his datapad and he slides his ear piece in.
<Ariel> "Or maybe... she broke it, sometime in her timeline. Or even being from a different time... I can't guess how that sort of thing would affect something like this."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well, restablish so we can watch her.
<Angela> "Or maybe you're dead in her timeline."
<Ariel> "That... is easier said than done. She avoids me. She won't talk to me."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien scratches his cheek, seemingly not inclined to like that.
* Terra mumbles more than speaks out loud. "... I hate this..."
<Chad`Winters> Than make her talk to you.
<DeathStar> <Darien> We still need to force answers from her.
<Chad`Winters> We could always drug her. 6He looks over at Darien
<DeathStar> <Darien> You're right. A truth serum. I think I can buy some.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks excited.
* Megumi punches the floor.
* Angela yawns a little and sighs. "Buy some?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien pauses awkwardly to stare at Megumi.
<Chad`Winters> I think I still have some in my tact belt. 6He holds up a finger
* Megumi holds her hand up and studies it curiously, then reaches with the other and pulls her index, popping it.
* Ariel isn't sure which worries her more. Darien's eagerness, or how easily he can obtain it.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Freaky. So, you got some? 6* He looks back at Chad, rubbing his hands together.
* Angela smiles at Darien, apparntly not too worried.
<Chad`Winters> Never know when I need to interrogate someone.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I like how you think.
* Megumi stands and stretches, heading back for the door. 1"I thought you were better than that other one, Darien."
<DeathStar> <Darien> The other one? 6* He rubs the back of his head.
<Megumi> Never mind that you require Erevis to contaminate her with something.
* Megumi glares toward him. 1"You are planning to force something of her?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien crosses his arms. "Right. And your motives are so much more pure."
<Chad`Winters> She seems full of jealous rage.
* Megumi leaves when Darien questions that, silent, but pollitely shutting the door after her exit.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Excuse me if I care to learn the truth if things like Ariel dying happens.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Which I guess doesn't matter, since you broke off your friendship with her. 6* he shouts out.
<Chad`Winters> Ooooh. Low, but effective.
* Ariel looks down, not feeling good about being dragged into this.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns to glance at the others, then at Chad. "Anything?"
<Chad`Winters> Nothing. 6He sets Aya down on the couch
<Terra> "... maybe I should go and check on her..."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien doesn't look surprised at Terra's response.
* Terra walks past and out
* Megumi sits on the steps to the entryway, crosslegged and places her hands on her knees as she hunches over with her eyes closed. It's as close to meditating as she's managed to figure out.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien speaks up once Terra's out of ear shot. "I find it fucking creepy how Terra mimics everything Megumi does."
* Terra slumps nearby. <Everything's gone to hell...>
* Angela looks about, thinking.
<Angela> "Wonder if I can scrounge up some scrap metal and a few cars..."
* Chad`Winters throws a look at Darien. 1"There's a child around, mind your language."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks at Aya, then looks back up. "Kids fucking creep me out, too."
<Ariel> "Darien..."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya plots Darien's demise.
* Chad`Winters throws his hands up then throws his empty beer can at Darien's head
<DeathStar> 6* Darien is hit in the head, rubbing it.
* Ariel sighs, "...we're all a bunch of great influences, aren't we?"
<Chad`Winters> Yes. By the way Darien, what do you think of Ariel's new hair color?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr steps out, scooping up Aya again.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Huh? 6* He looks over at Ariel, then stares.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I---wow. Cotton candy. Yummy.
* Angela pulls her own hair back. "It does look like candy."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr moves off with Aya, so the adults can talk.
<Ariel> "...Zephyr's idea. I wasn't consulted."
<Angela> "Darien, we should really get that wound treated before you go off into the night again."
<DeathStar> <Darien> I like it. Makes you look ... more hip.
<Chad`Winters> Well you were sleeping so we couldn't consult wtih you.
* Megumi opens a single eye, peering at Terra. 1"Did you need something, Terra?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes his shoulder wound, then shrugs. "Eh. Right now we need to find Erevis."
<Angela> "Yes... hip, with it."
<Chad`Winters> How far away from here were you guys when the Dark One's attacked?
<Angela> "I'm sure those two will show up if we give them time."
<Angela> "You're bleeding."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Not too far. A few blocks.
<Terra> "... I was just worried about you..."
<Megumi> I am fine.
<Chad`Winters> I'm gonna check from the roof than. The more eyes the better. 6He turns, moving to the stairs
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shrugs, then grabs the dye towels and puts it on the wound.
* Terra nods, quietly, not wanting to bother others with her own problems
* Ariel takes the towels from Darien, and drags him to the bathroom for some proper cleaning
<DeathStar> 6* Darien smiles once he's in the bathroom, leaning in and kissing Ariel on the lips.
* Chad`Winters makes his way to the roof and he opens the roof door and moves along the rooftop twoards the edge.
* Ariel is startled, but she kisses Darien. Though she doesn't let him go too far. "...you. Have the most awkward timing."
* Angela looks about the place before going to grab a few things from room 102.
<DeathStar> <Darien> What? We're alone. 6* He smiles again.
<DeathStar> 6* The rooftops of LA look empty. Though, Dark Ones like dark and empty.
<Ariel> "Yes. But you're still bleeding."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Oh, psch. 6* He kisses her neck to try to distract her.
* Chad`Winters stands at the edge of rooftop and he kneels, staring at the distance for any signs of them
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr sits with Aya.
* Ariel wets a towel, trying to stay focused. Not easy for her. "Let's... just get a gauze on this first. Alright?"
* Angela sits down on the bed and sighs softly, pulling out a bag.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Okay. Okay. 6* He waits a moment, then nibbles on her ear. "You done yet?'
<Terra> "... you're pretty tough, you know?"
<DeathStar> 6* An energy beam shoots up into the night air, liek a wave of hyperspace.
* Terra stands upright suddenly
* Megumi opens her eye again. "...I am what?"
<Terra> "Pretty tough, but I think I might have just found Erevis."
* Chad`Winters opens his eyes and he turns, running back down stairs again
<Megumi> I am wea-- Wh-what!?
* Megumi hops to her feet in a single motion, both eyes snapping open.
* Ariel cleans the wound, and then bandages it up. "...you didn't flinch."
* Chad`Winters steps into the lobby, he whistles loudly
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks at the wound. "Huh? It didn't hurt."
<Terra> "I saw a beam... pretty big."

* Terra starts off that way with Megumi

* Ariel sighs. It never fails. She heads after Darien.
* Chad`Winters grabs the couch and lifts it, pulling his tact belt from under it and one of his pistols and holster. He attaches it to his waist.

<DeathStar> 6* Darien pulls on his coat.
* Megumi follows Terra with urgency.
<Terra> "Just... be careful. We don't know if she's in trouble."
* Terra hurries
* Chad`Winters looks at Zephyr than eyes the room with Aya he scowls to himself.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> ... Right. I'll stay with Aya.
<Chad`Winters> Thank you Zephyr. 6He unholsters his gun and clicks the safety off
<DeathStar> 6* Darien motions at Chad. "Lead the way.'
* Chad`Winters turns, moving out the front door.
<DeathStar> 6* Terra and Megumi hurry through the streets of LA. After a while, they appear to be in another area.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien follows.
* Chad`Winters begins sprinting now, not wanting to waste precious time
* Angela heads out after the others
<Megumi> We appear to be in a new air.
<Megumi> NRP: area.
<Terra> "Yeah.."
* Ariel sticks with Chad and Darien
<DeathStar> 6* The cold wind blows around Terra and Megumi.
* Megumi closes her eyes and focuses intently on sounds.
* Angela sticks with Chad and Darien as well.
<DeathStar> 6* Her godhearing picks up the sound of fighting on a rooftop.
<DeathStar> 6* Chad leads them to the others.
* Megumi slowly turns her head and faces the one she seems to hear it from, then opens her eyes.
* Terra looks around

* Chad`Winters glances at Megumi and Terra as he catches upto them. He moves past them and right to the building with the fighting on the roof top
<Chad`Winters> This one Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grabs the fire escape ladder. "Gotcha.'
* Chad`Winters grabs the fire escape after Darien and climbs up behind him
* Terra starts up herself
<DeathStar> 6* The mini game activates to see who can climb the fire escape the faster as the Dark Ones roll down matter balls.
* Ariel climbs as... well, she doesn't have a faster way up
* Megumi takes the elevator?
<DeathStar> 6* You'd have to go inside to see if there was one.
* Megumi would, naturally.

* Megumi cuts it open!
* Angela climbs up.
<DeathStar> 6* The door is cut open. Alarms go off.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien reaches the rooftop finally.
* Chad`Winters pauses and looks up at Darien. 1"Great, an idiot set the alarms off." 6He flips otno the roof top after Darien
<DeathStar> 6* The rooftop has 6 Dark Ones surrounding a bald British guy and Erevis, who are back to back.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien pulls himself up.
<Drasek> Right, you take those three ugly ones, i'll take these three. *he motions*
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Ones turn to face the team.
* Angela looks up a the Ariel in her way.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I think they see us.
* Chad`Winters slides Darien in front of him
<DeathStar> <Darien> Oh, you mother fucker.
* Terra climbs onto the rooftop
<DeathStar> 6* Darien is hit by some tendrils.
* Chad`Winters fires several shot over Darien's shoulder at a Dark One
* Ariel steps onto the roof behind Terra, and forms her armour and blade as she sees the darkones
<DeathStar> 6* One Dark One throws a Dark Matter ball at Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien ducks so it'll go for Chad.
* Drasek shifts forward to throw another beam of hyperspace energy for one of the Dark Ones.
<Chad`Winters> Ahh crap. 6He ducks also
<DeathStar> 6* It flies at Ariel.
<DeathStar> 6* And Terra, for a two for one.
* Terra grabs Ariel and moves
<Chad`Winters> It other words Darien, the police know where we are.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Busy dying
<DeathStar> 6* Darien holds his gut.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis spins her scythe aroudn to cut at a Dark One.
<DeathStar> 6* Drasek fries another.
* Angela climbs up, gun ready.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark One leader pulls out a vial and jabs it into Drasek's neck.
* Terra throws fire at the leader
<Chad`Winters> Oh you'll live. 6He moves to the side and fires several shots at the Dark One jabbing Drasek
<Drasek> GAH! *he grabs at his neck* Bloody git!
* Megumi kicks open the door from the stairwell.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Leader grabs Erevis, and leaps off the building. The others are shot.
* Ariel regains her footing, and fires a holy beam at one of the darkones she has a clear shot at.
<DeathStar> 6* Ariel destroys one.
<Terra> "... LITTLE FUCKER!"
* Drasek stumbles towards the edge of the roof, looking over. "Come back here you sod!"
* Angela moves over to Darien, gun held at the ready. "How many times a day do I need to patch you up?"
* Terra starts down the ladder quickly, wishing she could fly
* Chad`Winters moves to the ladder and he grabs the edges and begins sliding down, only to run into Terra.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien holds his stomach. "It would be nicer if you were naked when you played nurse."
* Megumi leaps off the edge of the building after it... a little brash since she just arrived on the roof.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Leader and Erevis land harshlyt.
<Terra> "Bloody sod, get off me!"
* Terra hurries after the Dark Leader
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Leader rises again.
<Angela> "Maybe later."
<Chad`Winters> Move faster sheesh. 6He slides down again and lands in a crouch
* Angela pulls out a patch and puts it on his wound.
* Drasek grabs at his neck. "What'd the bastard do to me?" He mumbles, moving after them towards the fire escape.
* Ariel moves in to deal with the Darkones left behind, if any are still alive.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grans Angela's big gun and takes aim at the Dark Leader, firing.
* Terra replies sarcastically. "Don't bleed to death horribly."
<DeathStar> 6* There's two left on the roof. They dance around Ariel, trying to pin her shadow.
* Megumi waits until she's close to the ground and thrusts her palm forward, cushioning her fall with unleashed force.
<DeathStar> 6* The DArk Leader waits until she's close to the ground, and smacks the fuck out of her with his dark fist
* Chad`Winters raises his gun and fires a charged shot for the Dark Leader's leg
<DeathStar> <Dark Leader> Children should go home.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Leader is hit in the head, then the leg. He stumbles.
* Ariel charges her blade, moving quickly to slash one before they can pin her.
* Terra rushes the Leader, hoping to stab him, throwing a fireball as she moves in
<DeathStar> 6* Ariel slashes through a Dark One.
* Megumi slows, then is flicked off against the building's wall, crying loudly.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Leader turns, dodging the fireball, then grabs Terra's arm before it can stab him.
* Drasek jumps off the fire escape after he's 3/4th of the way down, he lands in a roll and rises up to uppercut towards the Dark Leader.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Leader shifts Terra's fist in the way of the uppercut.
* Terra stabs the Dark Leader through her arm
* Angela pulls out her normal gun, with Darien holding the Samaritan.
* Drasek jumps bakc holding his arm.

<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Leader prevented her from stabbing him, sadly.
* Chad`Winters moves over to Erevis, kneeling down beside her, his gun aimed at the leader. He fires a shot at the wall and rebounds it off a wall into his side. He nudges Erevis with his free hand
<Drasek> Bloody fuck are you made of!?
* Ariel pulls her blade clean and stabs back, trying to take out the last one.
<Chad`Winters> Wake up Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark One throws a dark matter ball at Ariel's face.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Leader, while grabbing onto spikes, justu ses her spikes against Drasek
* Drasek jumped back damnit!
<DeathStar> 6* Darien aims again.
* Megumi crawls up onto her knees and then sets one foot and struggles to her feet, clutching a stone broken away from the wall she hit.
* Terra goes to punch the Dark Leader in the face with her other hand, crying, either with pain, frustration or just plain sorrow
* Ariel just drops. Doesn't want to work out the physics of how she got in this situation, so it seems like the best bet

* Ariel releases the holy beam at the darkone from the ground.

<DeathStar> 6* The Dark One is hit and knocked off the roof. He falls toward Terra.
* Drasek sucks on his knuckles, he glances up.
<Drasek> Heads.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark One shakes his hand a few times, tossing blank goo arond.
* Terra smacks against the wall, then pulls herself up... and tries to avoid the falling one
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark One lands beside Terra.
* Terra stabs it for good measure
<DeathStar> 6* It's stabbed by the pinchusion
<Chad`Winters> Ereivs. 6He nudges her again.

* Drasek pulls up his arm and fires a beam of energy at the leader. He howls in pain after he does so.

* Megumi lobs the rock at the leader's upper body, dashing in behind it and strikes for the lower mid-section with a formed immaterial blade in her left hand.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Leader is hit and sent flying back into the darkness of an alley.
<DeathStar> 6* Sadly, it means Megumi misses.
<Drasek> NRP: hyperspace btw, duh.
* Megumi falls short, blinking.
<Chad`Winters> We need to leave now.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances toward the alley. She reforms her scythe, moving for the alley.
<Terra> "Erevis!"
* Drasek growls and begins to walk forward. "What the fuck did you do to me!?" He yells out at the alley.
* Terra goes to follow Erevis. Like hell she's going to lose her now
<DeathStar> 6* The darkness shifts. "I poisoned you, Progenitor. Now your true form will kill you with each use."
* Megumi follows Erevis with her blade still formed, silent.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien hands Angela her gun back.
<Drasek> You fucking git. I'll kill you. *he growls*
* Ariel goes to check on Darien, figuring there's enough of the others for just the one darkone down there.
* Chad`Winters eyes Drasek then moves out after Erevis
<DeathStar> <Darkness> HA ha ha. My name is Asmodeus. Remember it well. For this fight isn't over.
<Drasek> Come back and fight you coward!
* Angela takes her gun back, having just finsihed patching him up.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien holds his stomach. "Well, jsut roll me over the edge so I can join the others."
<DeathStar> 6* There's no resposne to Drasek. Erevis makes her weapon turn back to a green ball.
* Chad`Winters slides to a stop next to Erevis
* Drasek growls and kicks a trashcan sending it flying. "Bastard. I'll kill him. KILL HIM."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis holds her right arm, then rams her shoulder into the side of the building, yelping.
<Terra> "... that can't be healthy."
<Chad`Winters> I could've set that for you, ya know.
<Megumi> Dislocated.
* Angela helps Darien to his feet.
* Megumi reaches out and places a hand at Erevis' side, focusing slowly to do something about the swelling that would cause pain, but after more than a second, her blade disappears and she falls over.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stands up, throwing an arm around Angela.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis catches Megumi with her left arm.
<Ariel> "We need to get you down... but not that way."
<Terra> "Megumi, are you alright?"
<Angela> "Now to get you down..."
* Chad`Winters taps his ear. 1"Our times running even shorter.
* Ariel heads down first in case one stumbles. Can't help support in someplace that narrow
<DeathStar> 6* The sound of police sirens can be heard.
* Drasek rubs his face, grinding his teeth, he turns to stare at the others, Erevis specifically.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis stares back at Drasek.
<Drasek> Who the fuck called the cops?
<Megumi> ... Tired..
<Chad`Winters> Whoever broken into the building to go upstairs. 6He looks at Megumi
<Angela> "Why the hell are there cops in this dump?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> There's always cops. Always.
<Terra> "... we should find somewhere to hide."
* Drasek says nothing about Megumi, he eyes Erevis a moment longer. "Right then, looks like I need your help even more now. Can I count on you?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes. You will come back with us.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis strains to pick up Megumi and put her over her own shoulder.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien is half-way down the fire-escape when the cops pull up around the building.
* Megumi sighs loudly in both accounts. 1"Aquaducts... if we must..."
* Terra looks for a good hiding place
<DeathStar> 6* Since the other group is in the alley, they have a fair chance at escaping
<Terra> "... come on..."
* Angela is moving down with him.
* Drasek nods his head, taking a step. He pauses and glances out. "Looks like some of your team is corner by the police." He points out of the alley, toward Darien, Ariel and Angela.
<Terra> "... what do you want me to do about it?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grunts. "You two get out of here without me. I'm slowing you down."
<Drasek> Wasn't talking to you. *he glances back at Terra, he shifts to look at Erevis now*
* Chad`Winters slides his hand along his tact belt and slides something into the chamber of his gun. He aims it down the alley and fires it off. It explodes and a giant plume of smoke erupts outwards.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks back.
<Terra> "... we should leave. Really..."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> We must move on for now. 6* She proceeds to escape.
<Angela> "Darien..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Go on. I've been to jail before.
* Terra escapes with Erevis and Megumi
<Angela> "I'm not letting you go in again."
<DeathStar> 6* The cops begin to head aroudn for the fire escape.
* Drasek arches a brow and moves off casually.
* Angela tries to move them faster. "Alright?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> You're an idiot.
* Ariel dismisses her sword and armour. "...do I need to carry you, Darien?"
<DeathStar> 6* The cops aim their weapons at Ariel, Angela, and Darien. "Freeze!"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien holds up his hands.
<Angela> "Always have been."
* Angela holds up her hands.
* Ariel pauses, and holds up her hands. She keeps quiet, and looks over the gathered police.
<DeathStar> 6* There's about four officers.
<DeathStar> <Officer 1> Come down one at a time.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis reaches the apartment complex finally, laying Megumi down.
* Ariel moves over slowly.
* Angela moves down when she can, it being a ladder and all.
* Megumi has her eyes closed, naturally, but is clearly frowning.
<DeathStar> 6* They keep their weapons aimed - they don't know who this pink haired woman is.
<DeathStar> 6* The third officer moves with hand cuffs. "Hands behind your back, turn around slowly."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr steps out. "Where's Ariel?"

<Megumi> She is ...miss knight.
* Ariel holds her hands in front of her. "What's going on, officer...?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr stiffens, then glares at Megumi. "YOU shut up." 6* She rushes out
<Drasek> I imagine she's going to jail right about now, little bit. *he rubs his knuckles slowly*
* Chad`Winters moves his hand to his ear. 1"Shit." 6He turns, moving out after Zephyr.

<Terra> "So... we can wait, or try to break them out."

* Angela helps Darien down as she gets down.
* Megumi rolls onto her side and curls up.
* Ariel winces a little. She glances at Angela and Darien, before doing so.

<DeathStar> 6* The officer handcuffs her, looking relieved, then handcuffs Darien.
* Angela does the same as well.
<DeathStar> <Darien> For the record, I'm innocent.
<DeathStar> 6* They handcuff Angela.

<Drasek> Very interesting. *he shifts to step inside, glancing around*
* Ariel looks to her companions

<Terra> "... you think they'll be safe there...?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis matches Chad's speed.
* Terra sounds unsure
<DeathStar> 6* The cops begin to lead them to the car.
* Drasek pauses and glances out. "Oh wait, we're leaving again? Bloody hell." He runs off after them.
* Megumi makes no reply for Terra.
* Angela looks down.
* Chad`Winters pulls out a small sphere and holds it in his hand as he runs
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, a huge beam hits the police car, and blows it up. The cops freak out.
* Ariel takes a few steps back, looking for the source of said beam.

* Terra sighs. "Megumi, just... don't push yourself." *starts off outside, worried*
<DeathStar> 6* The cops whip their guns around like scared cattle.
<DeathStar> 6* A sniper hits them in the legs and arms, causing them to drop.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis and Chad arrive at the scene.
* Ariel looks to Darien and Angela. Gesturing for them to get moving.

* Terra follows, if there's any sign of any of them
* Angela flicks her wrist, the bracer creating a shield which shatters her cuffs, she then goes to work on Darien's.

* Chad`Winters wonders how that happens with him being on his shoulders while running
* Drasek moves along with the others, studying them as he goes.
* Angela was already doing, it, anyways, running along.
* Terra heads back for the apartment, in either case

* Chad`Winters moves inside and stands taking several breaths, Darien still slung on his shoulder

<Terra> "... that wasn't as painful as I expected."

* Ariel keeps pace with Erevis, "...thanks."

<Drasek> So then. Where will I be crashing? *he glances towards Erevis for this bit of info*

<Drasek> Right then. *he shifts and walks off, vanishing down the hall*

<Megumi> Whether someone is telling me what to do or not, I am the easiest to manipulate.
* Megumi turns and gazes up at Erevis. 1"...I would never let you go alone-- Though now, especially not with -him.-"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien crosses his arms. "That sounds like a challenge, Chad."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis expression softens considerably.
<Chad`Winters> It wouldn't be an investigation if it was easy, now would it? 6He smirks at Darien, a wry smile on his face.

<Terra> "... I wanted to ask at first... whether I was too bad an influence on Megumi to stay, but... I think I have my answer now."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods his head once, smaking his fist into an open palm.
* Chad`Winters wiggles his fingers as if playing with a puppet
* Angela smiles softly.

<Angela> "BLindly walking into danger... sounds like us."
* Megumi lets go an uses the wall to drag herself to her feet.
* Terra pauses, then looks to Ariel. "I... have a request."
<Chad`Winters> That's why I plan on shoving you infront Angela.
<Ariel> "What is it?"
<Chad`Winters> I bet Ariel gave her the ring. 6He looks at Darien
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis turns and walks forward. "If you will excuse me for a moment."

* Terra glances back to Erevis a moment. "It's actually to both of you. I... guess I need someone to be a good influence on myself first."
* Megumi coughs once and crosses her arms, awaiting Erevis' return.
<DeathStar> 6 *Erevis steps out completely and enters her room. She shuts the door, and leans back against it, sliding down the door and putting her face into her hansd.

<Chad`Winters> Oh, I doubt Megumi made Derrek that ring. But she would for Ariel.

* Drasek pauses, glancing up from lying back on the bed. "...right. Guess this room is occupied already?"
* Megumi turns slowly and frowns. 1"Quit being idiots."

<Chad`Winters> Deal. 6He holds his hand out and looks at Zephyr. 1"You want in on this?"
* Megumi peers a two when they have finalized this bet, seemingly.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks up, looking like she was about to cry. Her face goes expressionless. "This is my room, yes."
<Megumi> I would never make a ring for someone else to give to Erevis of their own accord.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr snorts. "Whatever."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Is that so, Megumi? Then enter our bet as well.
<Chad`Winters> That a yes? 6He tilts his head.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> It's a whatever. I'm not a kid who needs to bet over things like a ring.
<Megumi> I do not need to bet on what I already know.
* Drasek shifts to place his feet onto the ground. "Don't let me be a bother. If you gotta cry luv, let it out."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Sounds like you're afraid.
<Megumi> Then you need your hearing checked, or you are a terrible investigator.
<Chad`Winters> Well if you're afraid to lose. That's cool.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... 6* She just looks to the side, unable to say a retort. "If I deem it necessary, I will do so when I choose."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods with Chad.
* Angela smiles and leans down to whisper something to Zephyr.
<Megumi> If I had credits to wager, I would not resort to stealing yours.
<Drasek> Even I'm not too proud to let myself have a good cry. It heals the soul, they say.

<Drasek> I once watched that one movie...oh bugger I can't think of the name. Real girlie flick, right? Couldn't help myself but just sob one bucket of salt after the other.

<Terra> "... if I can say... I preferred the old Erevis..."

<Megumi> She might be saying nothing so that a chance for us to not die presents itself.

<Terra> "Or so that a chance for us to die does not present itself."

* Angela looks at Chad and tilts her head.
* Ariel sighs, and thinks about it a moment. "She... must have a reason."

* Megumi turns her head and frowns. 1"The only way to create something with my exact hereditary patterns in the molecular structure would be to either know how to mimic every last subconscious decision perfectly, or use some otherworldly manner to mimic me. Other than to mock me, what purpose would that serve that Erevis would keep?"
<Drasek> That's a tough decision, luv. I guess it would depend on the situation and what you were sacrificing.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis peers at him quietly, then stands up, having regained complete icy composure back. To the others, when she returns out, she will appear as heartless as she did in the lobby earlier
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr decides to go check on Aya.
* Drasek stands up and shifts toward the door, glancing out after her.

<DeathStar> <Erevis> I believe room 110 is empty.
* Megumi gazes over Erevis' expression, then shakes her head. 1"...Erevis, do you still carry... the flower and the snowflake?"

<Drasek> Right. Sorry about that. Shame we can't share the room though. You'd make this Progen very happy. *he smiles, obviously teasing her, as he shifts and moves down the hallway again*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lets out a breath, then goes to his own room.
* Megumi smiles slightly, then shifts, glaring after Drasek.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> You were saying something, Terra Kershaw?
* Angela intercepts Darien. "Hey."
* Drasek opens the door to 110 and stands there a moment before grandly walking in.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Hm? Oh, yo. What's up? 6* He crosses his arms, an uninterested look on his face.
<Terra> "I just want someone to teach me... I don't know how to phrase it."
<Angela> "Not much... was wondering if you were up for a chat."
<Terra> "I guess how not to be a bad influence myself."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Uh, well, sure. Come on in. 6* He opens his door and steps in.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis just ... stares.
<Terra> "... what?"
* Angela steps in with him.

* Megumi stares as well, then sighs and shakes her head.

<Megumi> Terra, you need a Warren, Darien and Kit for yourself.
<Terra> "... don't even mention Warren in that sentence..."
* Ariel frowns. She's not touching that subject.

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis just stares. And bows her head, returning to her room.
* Megumi tilts her head slightly. 1"...I miss them. I slept better."
* Angela looks abou the room, taking a seat where she can.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves over and sits on the bed. "I should have power in this place. I bought it under another alias."
* Megumi blinks once. 1"..You never saw them? They resided in our bedroom. That is, until they were given to Aya."
<DeathStar> 6* There's a chair, but no belongings. Since they are on the run and Darien hasn't shopped yet.
<Terra> "...them?"
<Angela> "Leadership with these people is sort of a random subject that filters between insanity and inspiration at a whim."

* Drasek glances around, having no idea where she actually lives, he makes sure he is at a safe distance, or at least what he believes, before he sets her down, patting her cheek gently. "Come'on luv, rise and shine."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis makes a sound, opening her eyes. At first there's a strange look, that she quickly removes from her face. "Drasek."
<Drasek> You alright? You were hit pretty hard. *he rests back some, not being so in her face anymore*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis sits up, wincing. "Buildings are heavy."
<Drasek> You're telling me. *he says with a slight smile, dusting his shoulders off*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis says nothing, studying him.
<Drasek> I. *he pauses and glances back towards where they came* How did they find us?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I do not know.
<Drasek> Well I don't quite fancy the idea that the Dark Ones are running about.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> They are your people's sworn enemy.
<Drasek> Our people. *he corrects her, his eyes returning to hers*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> This tune is familiar. 6* She says under her breath, casting her glance to the side.
<Drasek> Malervis i'll assume? That git always had the wrong idea, is what I say.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Hm.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> In any event, they seem to know who you are by name.
<Drasek> We've met.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis says nothing to that.
* Drasek stands up fully, extending his hand. "Can you stand?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis rises of her own accord. "Yes."
* Drasek eyes his hand and then drops it. "Not one to accept help, are yah?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> If it is needed.
<Drasek> Good for you. That's the real spirit of a Progen. *he nods, seeming proud of that*
* Drasek pauses and glances around now. "Right then. I don't think we're safe just yet."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> No. We are not. They have taken up key positions around us.
* Drasek shifts to glance around. "What should we do?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I thought you were the Progenitor expert. Do you not know what to do with your own enemies?
<Drasek> Hey now. I know how to kill em, but if you didn't notice, we're outnumbered.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis tilts her head with an interested look. "Is it not the Progenitor way to solve their own problems?"
* Drasek pauses and smiles slightly. "You're more interesting than I first thought. Well then, we should kick their asses. What do you say, luv?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I can destroy them, yes. I do not know if they have asses to kick, however.
<Drasek> Right. We'll just have to find out, then. *he grins, rubbing his hands together*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes. If you wish to follow my lead, then I shall lead.
* Drasek gestures with his arm. "After you, pet."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks vaguely annoyed, but seems like she can't remember why. "I do not like it when you call me that."

* Drasek moves and hops up, moving along after her.

<Drasek> Oh? Never pegged you for that type. Unless you're not of course.

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis pulls herself onto the roof.
<Drasek> Into girls and all that. Could be why I don't seem to interest you. Though that could be my personality, couldn't be my looks though. *he muses, ranting slightly*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis peers at him. "Gender does not matter to me. After all, my gender is determined by this body, as yours is determined by yours. Which I am curious on why you can assume human form."
<Drasek> Nifty little trinket I picked up ages ago.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Interesting. So, tell me, do Progenitors have genders?
<Drasek> Being of energy. Don't really have a gender, but I imagine when they assume the form of a human, something causes them to be a specific gender. Casue I can't quit be a girl if I desire it.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Too bad for you.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks around the rooftops.
<Drasek> Oh? *he pulls himself up, glancing around.* Being a male's not to bad.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Is that so?
<Drasek> I get these nice muscles, and being with females is...well let's just say I prefer it this way.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I am lighter, and more agile.
<Drasek> We each have our advantages, and i'm sure they suit our personalities as well. *he kneels down, trying to feel out and find a dark one*

<DeathStar> 6* She points out seven spots on adjacent rooftops. "There."
<Drasek> You found them that fast? *he seems very impressed* What's your plan, then?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I planned to wait for them to attack.
<Drasek> Bastards are terribly slow, what're we gonna do to pass the time?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> We could meditate.
<Drasek> We could make out.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I would kill you.
<Drasek> Right, right. Worth a shot. *he stands upright* So my intel was that you were older, but here you are a young lass. Was my intel rubbish?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It is merely outdated.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I wish you to do something. Shoot up a stream of energy into the air.
<Drasek> Humans don't get younger, last I heard.
* Drasek pauses. "To signal your friends?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes.
* Drasek frowns. "Here I thought this dance was going to just be the pair." He lifts his arm up and shoots off a beam.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> As you have failed to recognize, I am not a Progenitor at heart.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis turns to face him. "I have much to live for still."
<Drasek> We all have our faults, luv. *he smiles to her*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis does not smile. "They are attacking." 6* She ducks down as tendrils lash out at them.
* Drasek shifts to knock a tendril away. "Course they are, they know help is on the way." He moves to avoid the rest.
<DeathStar> 6* Two Dark Ones appear behind Drasek. They attack with dark swipes, using the night air as their weapons. It almost seems like an unavoidable attack, the air twisting and cutting into the flesh
* Drasek releases a gasp of pain and stumbles forward, twisting to send a beam of hyperspace for the Dark One on the left.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark One is hit and howls as it's vaporized.
<DeathStar> 6* The other Dark One pins Drasek's shadow, since there's enough light from the buildings.
* Drasek struggles to get free. "You pieces of mud and your dirty tricks." he growls.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis uses the Emerald Scythe to cut the tendril.
<DeathStar> 6* More Dark Ones appear on the rooftop, surrounding them.
* Drasek nods his head once, shifting to her back, eyeing the Dark Ones. "Least if I go, i'll go down with one of my race."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> What a strange thought to have comfort you.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis puts her back to Drasek's.
<Drasek> Never thought i'd meet another of my kind, luv. So yes it does comfort me.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Ones launch tendrils in a 360 angle.
<Drasek> It'd be best if you duck, 'less you want to get yourself fried.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis swings her scythe, taking out the back tendrils. "Focus on your front."
* Drasek shifts and throws out a wave of hyperspace energy to take his out. "Hard too with you at my back, luv."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> If you wish to fight alone, I will oblige.
<Drasek> Now, Now. I'd hate to let you miss out on all the fun.

* Angela smiles a little. "That's good."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well, if that's all you were concerned about, I guess I'll go to bed.

<DeathStar> 6* Darien pauses in mid-laying down. "No?"
* Angela sighs a little, "I... sorry it's just before, you were the only person I had to sit down and talk to."
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'm not that person anymore, Angela. 6* He just goes ahead and lays down.
* Angela looks down. "Yeah I know that."
<Angela> "I umm..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Nothing personal, but I'm tired. So if you could get more to the point.
<Angela> "I'm not really sure where you and I stand, is all."
<DeathStar> <Darien> We work together. That's about it.
* Angela forces a smile. "Alright then."
* Angela stands up a bit stiffly. "Get some rest... I'll check on your wounds when you wake."
<DeathStar> <Darien> It's okay. 6* He notes. "No pain, really."
<Angela> "That's what concerns me."
<DeathStar> <Darien> I find it exhilering. In fact, I feel kinda ... good.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien smirks a bit, putting his hands behind his head.
* Angela walks over to his bed, looking down at him.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks up at Angela. "Now what?"
* Angela smiles softly. "You really are something..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Huh? 6* He makes a face.
<Angela> "Nothing... nevermind."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Oh, that was a definitely not a nothing comment.
* Angela smiles softly and taps his forehead. "I'm fond of you, you know that."
