<DeathStar> 6* After having sent some people to find the "Dark Base" that Xanatos said was in "That direction", Warren had Xanatos, and those who wished to come with him, to the military base to have a full body check by the doctors to see if this was, in fact, the real Xanatos Durran.
<DeathStar> 6* So far, the medical exam is still being done, as the rest wait in the hallway.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya sits around, having been looked over and given a clear bill of health. She is silent, though.
<Angela> * Jennifer sits nearby, having rejoined the group when the coast was clear, and doesn't seem to eager to leave the protection of the group.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis remains seated, her eyes closed.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias plops down next to Aya, a stocking cap on this time, covering most of his black scar. 1"What's up kid?"
<DeathStar> 6* Warren looks at Dias, then at Chad, nodding his head.
<DeathStar> <Aya> ... 6* She shrugs.
* Chad`Winters glances at Warren, then down at Dias, his eyes studying him.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> You don't remember me at all, do ya? 6He tilts his head.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leans on a wall, his eyes closed.
<DeathStar> <Aya> ... No.
* Angela sits in a chair nearby Darien, deep in thought.
<Angela> * Jenn looks from Aya to Dias.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Suppose not. You were like-6He holds his hand out. 1"That tall last time I saw ya.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya looks at him, her blue eyes shifting to study him, then she glances at the floor again. "Yeah."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> .......
<Angela> * Jen grimmaces a bit, having needed a bit of time to get used to Aya being her age, yet 3 at the same time as well.
* Megumi touches a swab to the side of her cheek, twitching slightly. 1"...Stings."
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> I babysit you once when you were still in diapers and you disappeared from me.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya glances at Dias, unsure of how to respond.
<Megumi> ...You were right, beloved. Perhaps I should have followed my own advice.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis opens her eyes slowly, her gaze distant. "I do not understand."
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Ah well, that was then. I'm sure this time you'd just break my arm.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Why? 6* She looks confused.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> I can only assume your old man taught you some self-defense by now.
<DeathStar> <Aya> A little... 6* She doesn't follow his logic.
<Angela> * Jenn stares at Dias and scratches her head.
* Chad`Winters moves over to Warren. 1"Things aren't adding up again.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren eyes Chad. "What numbers are you using?"
* Megumi tilts her head to Erevis. 1"...That I was contradicting my own advice to safety by doing such things in public. Although this time it did not seem he was seeking me, perhaps it would not have escalated had I not been there..."
<Chad`Winters> We can only assume that Xanatos being here is bad for the the timeline. Catastrophic if things go wrong. Why would the Dark One's stand behind that?
<DeathStar> <Warren> I don't know.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis says nothing to that.
<Chad`Winters> I mean, why strive for galactic domination when you plan on destroying it.
<Chad`Winters> Why not just destroy it in the first place.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren pops a vicodin.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias just waves his hand. 1"Don't worry about Legion. Me and Marcus will take care of him."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya studies him skeptically.
<Megumi> ...You must be joking.
<Xanatos> *Marcus leans against the wall beside Dias, he tilts his head. "What are we doing?"
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> W-What's with that look? I know that look.
<Chad`Winters> The Dark One's and Legion are working together but they're goals seem contradictory to each other.
<Angela> * Jenn arches an eyebrow at Dias slowly.
* Megumi brings the swab away from her cheek and twitches idly. 1"I know I am physically weaker than I have been in the past, but this time... he practically ignored me. Last time I could at least fend him briefly."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren grunts.
<Megumi> You two are different, but ...just you two?
<Angela> Jen> "
<Angela> Jen> "Legion is no laughing matter... he's scarey."
<Xanatos> <Marcus> I guess they didn't realize that Legion ran when we showed up, eh? *he nudges Dias*
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Apparently not. 6He smirks at Marcus
* Megumi eyes Jennifer. 1"...Hence why I told you to run.."
<Angela> Jen> "He woulda caught me."
<DeathStar> <Aya> ... Legion left because he wanted to leave. 6* She notes sullenly, apparantly unimpressed
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Pst, why leave if he could've killed us all then?
* Angela continues to sit quietly, watching Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya just closes her eyes, holding herself.
<Angela> Jen> "Who knows... he has his plans."
<Chad`Winters> Maybe we'll find some answers at this base. 6He crosses his arms.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Perhaps. Cheryl will check in when she finds it.
<DeathStar> 6* The doctor steps out after a moment. He adjusts his glasses.
* Chad`Winters glances over at the doctor.
<Angela> "So is he human?"
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> My ego, deflated by a teenager. 6He slumps.
<DeathStar> <Doctor> Yes. I've checked his DNA with past records, and it's almost an exact match. There's some DNA damage, but it could be from whatever proceedures they used to bring him back to life. However, I am convinced that man is Xanatos Durran
<DeathStar> 6* Darien opens his eyes. "Interesting."
<Megumi> Bring him... back to life?
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks up at the doctor silently.
<Angela> "Mmm..."
* Angela looks over at Erevis again.
<DeathStar> <Doctor> Well, you did state that you saw his soul. So he had to have been dead.
<Megumi> ...
<Angela> Angela> "Yeah, but we saw it cross over... there should be no coming back from that..."
<DeathStar> <Warren> You shouldn't make bold statements when you can't possibly know, Bennet.
<Megumi> If he possesses the same soul... I must be curious, however, that is something I cannot learn.
<Xanatos> Yeah, we don't even know if that was them 'crossing over'.

<Angela> "...I'm banking on not believing Mr. Cran is the same man who raised me, sorry."
* Chad`Winters remains quiet.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Who knows what a soul is? Perhaps it is merely a collection of memories.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> I'm pretty confident that it was John who stepped over Marcus.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Warren makes a really good point.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... 6* She glances at the floor silently.
<Angela> "I suppose."
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> You always think Warren makes a good point.
* Megumi winces and reapplies the ointment to her wound. 1"...Perhaps. Memories are not stored in DNA, however. This process... I do not understand how it is possible."
<Angela> "Why don't we get one of the soul eating girls to give him a few licks and see if he's one of the 'damned'?"
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Well he usually does. He's not the leader for nothin, man.
<Megumi> I cannot restore the dead, even if I can decipher such things.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Yeah, I know. It's just you look like an ass kisser now.
<DeathStar> <Doctor> Well, you can all talk to him now, if you want. 6* He moves off to do doctorly things.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Well excuuuse me. *he crosses his arms*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks down at her lap again, playing with the ring on her finger.
* Chad`Winters looks over at Erevis, studying her. 1"So when do you plan on telling him?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> .......
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shrugs and walks into the hospital room. That's Darien for you.
* Angela heads after him, scowling a little.
* Megumi gazes between Chad and Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren glances at Chad, then at Erevis.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Well since he's not a evil shapeshifter, i'm leaving. You coming Dias?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Excuse me. 6* She rises and moves off down a hallway, leaving everyone.
* Chad`Winters studies her for a moment. 1"He's going to find out either way."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves over to look at Xanatos Durran.
* Megumi gets up, blinking, and moves to follow Erevis
<Angela> * Jen sits back and shrugs a little. "So... did Miss Erevis and Mr. Durran go out or something?"
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> But what if we get to fight some people?"
* Angela looks over Xanatos, sticking a little bit behind Darien.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Seems like a cry fest to me.
* Chad`Winters looks over at Jen. 1"They were going out.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Alright. 6He looks over at Warren. 1"Call me if you need back up.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis steps outside the base, closing her eyes .
<DeathStar> 6* Warren grunts.
* Xanatos has his back to them pulling on a shirt they gave him, he glances over his shoulder. "Yo."
<Angela> Jen> "Ah... and the cat thing and Miss Erevis are now... sounds like drama."
<DeathStar> <Darien> So, you're alive.
<Xanatos> * Marcus smacks Dias on the back and walks off.
<Xanatos> So it would seem. Though everyone seems to think i'm not.
* Megumi stops in the exit way, leaning on it quietly, fidgeting with her fingers.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias winces slightly then looks down at Aya. 1"Take care kid." 6He flashes her his trademark smile and turns, moving out after Marcus, leaping onto his back.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well. When you blow up for umptenth time, people get skeptical.
<Angela> "Well we kinda watched you get blown to smithereens, then we watched your soul..."
<Megumi> 6Dawn inches backward from the rear of the room, shutting his datapad and turning to leave.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya watches him go. "He smells like fruit."
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus and Dias go fighting off down the hall.
* Angela blinks, looking at Darien and smiling a little.
<DeathStar> 6* Sadly, DAwn would not have been allowed in the base at all
<Xanatos> Well it's kinda my thing, right?
<Angela> Jen> "Like... fruit?"
<Angela> "Careful Xan, we'll be forced to start with the zombie jokes at this rate."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks at Xanatos. "So.... Now what?"
* Chad`Winters glances over at Aya. 1"I'll be in the medical room for a bit." He moves off and heads into the medical room
* Xanatos shrugs, smiling at Angela, then glances at Darien. "Well I'm not sure. I don't really have a clue what is going on right now.
<Angela> * Jen looks at Aya, "So... you okay? You kinda freaked out back there."
<DeathStar> <Aya> ... 6* She apparantly doesn't want to talk about it
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rubs the side of his face. "Well. We're fighting Dark Ones. Sorta."
* Chad`Winters steps into the room, crossing his arms as he looks over at Xanatos.
<Angela> Jen> "...Alright... but what about that move you pulled? You formed a weapon and fired it."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya frowns more, and she begins to look at the lines in the ceiling tiles.
<Xanatos> Sorta? *he pulls the sleeves on the shirt up, since he never was one for long sleeves.* Whats that mean?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien explains the situation, using the fade to black, and fade back method.
<Angela> Jen> "...Well I thought it was cool... you totally beat him up."
* Xanatos nods his head slowly. "Well I figure i'll be sticking close to Erevis."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya keeps tracing the lines in the ceiling.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Probably won't be a good idea.
* Chad`Winters moves over, standing beside Darien.
<Xanatos> Why's that?
<Angela> Jen> "...Anyway... glad you're okay..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> She and Megumi are an item.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Thank you. 6* She keeps doing it, her shoulders relaxing somewhat as she does it
<Chad`Winters> They're engaged.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Perhaps even married in the future.
* Xanatos widens his eyes, then laughs. "Oh god Darien. You're fucking funny." He just laughs more at Chad.
* Angela sighs and rubs her head.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien doesn't look amused.
* Chad`Winters holds his stoic look.
<Angela> "It's not a joke Xan."
<DeathStar> <Warren> You should have known she would have hooked up with the first person who wouldn't quit asking her out. Like you. 6* He says as he steps in
* Xanatos seems stunned, then snaps out of it whenever Warren steps in. "...so it's cool if I kill Megumi, right?"
<Chad`Winters> Unless you want to unravel time.
<Angela> "No... you'll end the world."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Sounds like a plan to me.
* Chad`Winters glances over at Darien
<Xanatos> Excellent, let's go Darien.
<Angela> "...I may as well watch."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien pauses, then shrugs. "I was joking." 6* He doesn't sound like he was joking.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren leans on the doorframe. "You'll make Erevis hate you."
* Chad`Winters grunts at Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis sits down on the ground, covering her face with her hand
<Xanatos> I guess that's what you get for going off and dying. *he sits back, sighing*
<Chad`Winters> Time moves on Xanatos, wether you're there or not.
* Angela plays with her hair a little and sighs, "So... anyone else disturbed at the fact that Erevis didn't see this coming?"
<DeathStar> <Warren> It is a possibility we neglected to tell her about this, because it would have caused problems?
<Xanatos> Well that's great. But i'm back now, and I think I deserve to get my girl. Sorry if none of you all see it that way.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well, the look on her face was priceless.
<Angela> "Well... if she's already lived these events once..."
<Chad`Winters> So you're saying you'd choose possibly destroying everything just so you can have a girl?
<Xanatos> You saying if Eve walked in that door, you wouldn't do the same?
* Angela tilts her head at Chad.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks at Xanatos, then at Chad. "And what if we change the timeline for that better?"
<DeathStar> 6* Warren remains silent. This really isn't his RPG.
<Angela> "I'd really rather not find out who's in that second grave, if we can help it."
<Chad`Winters> If I knew it would mean the end of everything I wouldn't do the same. 6He looks at Darien. 1"And if time doesn't want to be changed?"
<Xanatos> Well thats makes of different people Chad. What's the point of living if you can't be happy and all that. Right?

<Chad`Winters> What's the point of living if you have nothing to live for because of it?
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis keeps covering her face, her body shaking slightly, for whatever reason. She doesn't appear to realize Megumi is even nearby.
* Angela sighs and looks at Xan quietly.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien crosses his arms. "I refuse to believe time is as linear as Erevis claims. Xanatos Durran is proof of that."
<Angela> "True, if a simple change screwed everything up, we wouldn't be talking right now."
* Xanatos motions at Darien. "Right? I mean Warren over there is from the past, hell, we've all fucked with the different timelines."
* Chad`Winters looks over at Darien. 1"You saw what happened for a brief moment when she saw Xanatos."
<DeathStar> <Warren> *shakes his head* You do not understand time loops, Durran.
<Angela> "There's a principle in mathematics, that states a quantity can remain the same even if pieces are moved about, so long as the structure remains the same."
<Xanatos> Well no. But that's beside the point.
<Angela> "Us geeks like to call it the elastic theory."
<DeathStar> <Warren> Here. Let me give you an example, then
* Megumi moves over eventually crouches, setting her hands out, but hesitates lengthily before setting them on Erevis' shoulders.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren looks at Durran seriously. "Erevis dies. You go back in time and prevent her from dying. Then you had no reason to go back in time, since she was alive, and thus, you destroyed the timeline.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis jerks. She lowers her hand somewhat. It seems her eyes are red, perhaps from fighting back tears.
* Xanatos crosses his arms. "So what should that mean in this situation, I 'died' and yet here I am. Why isn't the timeline destroyed?"
<DeathStar> <Warren> Either you were meant to come back, or you're so minor, that it doesn't affect it.
<DeathStar> <Warren> I imagine only a few of us are key to the loop.
<Angela> "Because nothing you've done yet has drasitcally altered events."
<Xanatos> Good to know i'm useless to time. *he chuckles at that*
<Chad`Winters> Until you make yourself a major and than you'll cause trouble.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well, you should be use to being useless.
<Angela> "He's not useless, time was bending back there."
<Megumi> There... is no reason to hide it... this time.
<Xanatos> Oh ho ho. Don't start with me 'Wind'.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... I am sorry... 6* She looks at the ground, guilt on her face. "My chest hurts. It is difficult to breathe."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien snorts.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Anyway, I think the time loop should be broken. But that's just my opinion.
<Megumi> ...I know.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren pops a vicodin in response.
<Angela> "I had a thought on that."
<Xanatos> You want to explode time? Something to do with graves or something. What's that all about?
<Angela> "If time is really looping... wouldn't Legion just get more and more powerful? Or does the Legion we currently know die."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well, it's pointless to have another debate. We need clues before we can answer anything.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren grunts.
* Megumi slides her hands inward, planting her thumbs and rolls them upward slightly, then pulls lightly outward and downward, trying to relieve a bit of tension in her neck and shoulders. 1"...That ...is all I know. I would not know how to feel beyond uncertainty, this is... something I have not experienced.."
<Angela> "True..."
<Angela> "I guess we wait for the base."
<DeathStar> <Darien> I do think we should probably regroup. Perhaps live together again, like in L.A.
<Angela> "Here in Tokyo?"
<Xanatos> I still can't believe you guys split up into two groups. So much for everyone sticking together.
<Angela> "Not everyone wants to fight in a war."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis relaxes somewhat. Megumi is probably one of the few people who could touch her neck without her freaking out. "I do not know what to do."
* Xanatos shakes his head. "Well you should. Especially if it's worth fighting for."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shrugs. "Erevis declined to fight. And I'm stalking her."
<Angela> "And I have an intergalactic corporate empire to run."
* Xanatos sighs and looks to Warren. "What do you want me to do?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances at Chad. "But it might be a good idea for us non-military people to be close together, or together. Legion is back on the playing field, and knows about the high school."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren raises a brow. "It's your life."
<Angela> "You two gonna keep sending the kids to that school?"
* Chad`Winters grunts at Darien.
<DeathStar> <Warren> If Jen wants to remain, yes.
* Xanatos smiles, "How many times you let me make my choices and then I screw something up, eh?"
<Chad`Winters> The real question is Xanatos, is would you even listen to us.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks at Chad seriously. "Aya's powers are manifesting. It might be good to remain around people like Erevis."
<Xanatos> Humor me, Chad. *he gives him a smile*
<Angela> "Mmm... so again, do we regroup here in Tokyo? There's a few places I could arrange us all to be in together."
<DeathStar> <Darien> *rubs his nose* I say just use Erevis' house. I don't live far from her, so I could stay at my place, and make the commute.
<Angela> "It's a big enough place, though I doubt she wants me there."
* Chad`Winters looks over at Xanatos. 1"Since you're incapable of staying below the radar, the Dark One's would only find you anyways. You'ld be best to have Warren lock you deep in a military installation
<DeathStar> 6* Warren considers Chad's plan
* Xanatos laughs. "Yeah, that's not happening."
<Chad`Winters> Well we could always send you flying a shuttle into a Dark Angel.
<Angela> "You could send him offworld."
<Xanatos> I'm winning right now. 2 to 0. Damn Dark Angel's don't have anything on me.
<Chad`Winters> The Dark One's would find him right away. Like I stated, Xan's too stupid to stay below the radar.
<Megumi> I do not comprehend the situation either, beloved... However... you... were..." 6Trails off.
<DeathStar> <Darien> He should stay with Erevis, then. Or near her.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Or with Warren.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Those really are the only two choices.
<Xanatos> I'll stick near Erevis. Thanks.
* Angela runs a hand through her hair.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren looks offended. "My hair not red or long enough?"
* Chad`Winters glances over at Darien, studying his reaction
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances at Megumi.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien keeps a neutral expression.
* Xanatos smirks. "You know how I am."
<DeathStar> <Warren> Well, try not to rape her. 6* He notes sardonically and walks out
* Xanatos makes an oooh face, and glances around. "Where is she, anyway? I need to talk to her."
* Angela shakes her head a little and leans over to Darien. "Got any spare rooms?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> She ran away after hearing you were the real deal.
* Megumi stares over her head and out at something, perhaps fixating on it as a means of focus, but her teeth are close to chattering.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yes. 6* He looks at Angela.
<Chad`Winters> She's probably having sex with Megumi. 6He turns, stepping out.
<Xanatos> Chad's just pissy cause I brought up Eve. *he seems amused, moving to leave*
* Angela smiles, "Mind if I take one? I've got little desire to live life around that unfolding drama."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... are you..cold? 6* She asks slowly, concern.
<Megumi> ..N-no.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Really? And here I thought you could push the two together. 6* He whispers to Angela.
* Chad`Winters moves over and sits down beside Aya.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks at her. "What is wrong?"
* Xanatos adjusts his sleeves as he walks past Jen, Chad and Aya, moving towards the exit.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya is tracing lines.
* Angela thinks about that. "I could give it a shot, though I'm sure Ere sees me on your level at the current time."
* Chad`Winters studies Xan as he walks by.
* Xanatos glances at Chad, but keeps his mouth shut, not bothered right now. He steps outside and slowly looks around.
<DeathStar> <Darien> *shrugs* I don't know why, but if Megumi is the key to changing things, I think we should follow up on it. 6* He paces around the empty room. "The fact is I think time can be changed. Maybe we make it worse, but maybe we make it better."
<Angela> "It's a gamble... if Ere would share events we could plan it better."
<Megumi> I am not s-sure what t-to do either...
* Xanatos spots the two and moves towards them.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis can be seen sitting near the building. Her face looks strained with guilt, and her eyes are red, as if she were crying. Though Erevis never cries, hardly. Her hair is just above her butt now, which is probably the length Xan would remember anyway, since it grew longer when he was dead. She has a white streak, but despite that, looks younger. And finger like scars are on her throat.
<DeathStar> <Darien> It's true. We need to figure out what the endgame is, Angela. And I think you can do it better than me. I'm not exactly on the list of trustworthy.
* Chad`Winters slowly looks over at Aya. He reaches over rubs her shoulder gently
<DeathStar> 6* Aya finally stops, looking at Chad.
<Chad`Winters> How're you doing?
* Xanatos gets close to the two, slowing to a stop. "Hey."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya looks at him, then at her hands. "Am I human?"
<Chad`Winters> Yes. 6He looks at her, his face serious
* Angela scratches the back of her head. "Well as Xan's former lover and well... I dunno, Ere always seems to reguard me with caution, if I've got the better chance you really are in deep. But I'll give it a try."
<DeathStar> <Aya> I thought only Zephyr could make guns.
* Chad`Winters leans forward, rubbing his hands together. 1"You're a special kind of human Aya."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks at Angela. "She's probably nervous of you because of the sex issue. Erevis seems, to me at least, to be someone who has trouble dealing with emotions that are undefinable.
* Megumi traces something in the air, a meaningless shape, maybe a letter or word in Famfrit. 1"I.. th-think I am horrible. He... I fee--" 6She hears footsteps close and freaks briefly, turning quickly, left hand bringing up a dagger downwrd in her hand. Granted, being Xanatos, a conflict of using it and refraining shows, but she decides to dissolve the weapon away into the air.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks at Xanatos, a strange emotion displaying on her face. "Xanatos. Durran."
<DeathStar> 6* She adds the second name as an afterthought.
<Xanatos> Can we talk? *he seems to be asking them both*

* Megumi widens her eyes at Xanatos and peers at the hand that was forming a dagger and backs off a step or two. First wanting to step behind Erevis, but then gazing between the two instead takes a step to the right of her, hands clasped behind her and closing her eyes after gazing toward the right.
* Angela giggles a little. "THat's just cause the timeline to cry I think. Anyways, I'll see to some moving arrangements. OUr little meetings are going to have to be at your place from now on you know."

<Angela> "We concluded the sale, the company isn't aware who owns them yet."
<Angela> "I intend to play around with that fact for a while."

* Megumi turns away even more, skiddish, and if anything, seems about as flighty as when she arrived on the PAX firstmost.

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis rises. "I will go with you, Xanatos. Durran."
<Megumi> ...Forgive me.
<Angela> * Jen just busies herself reading, having been sitting next to Aya, but not wanting to intrude.

* Megumi hops over off the edge of the staircase and begins walking eerily off a random direction.
* Xanatos watches Megumi walk off and then turns his gaze to Erevis. "You alright?"

* Angela toys with her hair, the faint hint of blue from the nearly worn dye still a tad visible under the room's lighting.

* Chad`Winters rubs his hands together again, his expression is soft, something that rarely occurs. 1"Like I said, I don't understand exactly's been done to you"

<DeathStar> 6* Alexander Cran walks down the hallway. "I heard about the incident on the school. I trust all is well?"

* Chad`Winters 's face becomes hardened again, his eyes narrowing and his hand moves to his holster as he stands up.

* Megumi jerks her head slightly toward the sound, but then falters away from it as if imagining things. She does stop moving though.
<Angela> * Jen looks up at the new voice. "...Who's he?"

<Xanatos> So they tell me that you're from the future.
<DeathStar> 6* Alexander raises a brow. "I don't think shooting me would be a good idea."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... Yes.
<Angela> * Jen sits up a little. "Mr. Winters?"
<Xanatos> They said I should accept that you two are together, because it happened in the future.

* Chad`Winters rests his hand on his holster for Ebony. His eyes locked onto Alexander himself. 1"Luckily nobody was seriously hurt."

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks at Xanatos, her expression void of emotion. "It is not meant to be."

* Chad`Winters shifts infront of Alexander.

<Xanatos> I'm not really that selfish of a person. I mean, I gave up my life even though I was finally with the woman that I loved. I was finally happy. But I gave it up, because it was the right thing to do. And now that i'm back, I find out that woman is with someone else and I can't be with her because it's agaist some law of time? No I won't accept that.
<DeathStar> 6* Alexander pockets the lollipop. "Very well. I'll go about my business then." 6* He smiles. "Lets hope no more unfortunate events occur."

* Megumi teeters again for a moment, then falls forward abrubtly.
<Angela> Jen> "That guy is creepy. Who was he?"
<DeathStar> 6* Warren stares, then pokes Megumi with his cane.
<Chad`Winters> That was Alexander Cran.

<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks over some medical reports.

* Xanatos shakes his head. "Tell me that the future is really a place full of peace and love and all of that. That my sacrifice was worth it. Tell me that you honestly love me and want nothing more to be with me, but to do so would be so traumatic to all of those people in the future that are relying on you."
* Megumi shifts onto her side and grabs her knees. 1"...This is a 'problem' I do not know how to handle."
* Angela looks over at what Darien's investigating.

<Megumi> Doing nothing will allow it to develop on its own. You should know from my history that my acting is generally what has driven something worse.

<Xanatos> But hey, if you really love her more. I mean, if you two just connect better. By all means, tell me to get lost.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Nothing really.
* Megumi frowns. 1"I do not know what to do."
<Angela> Jen> "...So why don't we shoot him?"
<DeathStar> <Warren> If you do nothing, then Xanatos will do something, and Erevis will be moved by him. 6* He looks away. "The fact is she is with you despite your immaturity, not because of it. It's time to grow up, Zhenmei."
<Chad`Winters> Because he's placed himself in a position that makes it impossible.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> You are unfair, Xanatos Durran. 6* She says harshly.
* Megumi sits up slightly and eyes Warren darkly. 1"...I will not kill Mister Durran."
<Angela> Jen> "Bleh. I'll tell you if I see him creeping about school or anything like that then."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren looks at Megumi. "Like I said. You need to grow up. Especially if that is your first thought."
<Xanatos> I'm sorry if i'm being that way, but look at where i'm coming from. I want nothing more than to pull you into my arms and just hold onto you, because I've lost you once and I don't want it to happen again.
* Megumi leans forward slightly with a straight face. 1"That was a joke, Elder Carmichael."

<Angela> * Jen hops back in her seat.
* Megumi rises to her feet slowly. 1"...Apparently my humor was better when I thought little of others and played to my instincts."
* Chad`Winters doesn't seem to be relaxing at all, his body staying in an alert attentiveness. He slowly sits down beside Aya.

* Angela lingers in the room, looking about it herself.

<DeathStar> <Erevis> That time has come and passed. You were dead. I will not let you confuse me.
* Megumi stares at Warren, leaning back in confusion. Such a deep question from someone usually disinterested.
<Xanatos> Confuse you?! So you think that if you believe the person to be dead that it's alright to just move on to someone else?!
<DeathStar> <Erevis> You have done the same thing yourself, Xanatos Durran. 6* She says angerily. "After all, when I killed Katrina McCormick, you moved on."
<Megumi> I.. ..that is difficult for me to say. I am not Erevis... and I spent... a great deal of time trying to display how I felt to begin with.
<Xanatos> And it took how many years? It's not even been 2 years yet, and you already moved on. I guess I just wasn't the type of guy that lasts with you.
* Chad`Winters leans back in his seat. His eyes slowly drift to the cieling.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis flinches. "Do not preach time to me. You cannot begin to comprehend how long life is for me." 6* She turns and begins to walk off.
<Angela> * Jen reads on.
<Megumi> For people to come together... often they need to feel a relation even before one is envisioned. Something that inherently bonds them through similarities and experiences... right?
<Xanatos> Is you future really worth it?
<DeathStar> <Warren> ... 6* He looks at Megumi. "Relationships are complicated. Erevis is like a child. You two are like two kids, who are trying to play at an adult relationship. Erevis lets herself be led around by someone who won't let go, because she has been taught that is love. You did the same thing, and so she accepted you. In reality, perhaps only Xan is ready for an adult relationship, and he's already fucked up in the head.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis continues to storm off.
* Xanatos rubs his face, sighing. Not even going to bother right now. It seems he's pretty pissed off himself.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps out of the base, stepping up beside Xan. "That could have gone better."
<Xanatos> I guess I did what I always did and say what I felt. I mean c'mon Megumi? I wasn't the best fucking choice, but give me some credit, at least I have a backbone.
* Megumi kneels and prods at the end of her shoe. 1"You might be right... Then again, perhaps our ideas of the relationship are a bit different."

* Angela steps out, listening to Darien and Xan.

* Megumi stands slowly and stretches, then turns and begins walking back the way she came.

* Megumi finishes walking up and tilts her head slightly. 1"She is not property. She has said so herself."

<Angela> * Jen watches Warren as he moves on.
* Xanatos sighs. "Well she didn't fall into that. Guess we'll try another tactic."
* Chad`Winters looks down from the cieling than at Warren as he walks away. 1"Xanatos Durran. The man that came back from the dead. He's aiming for Erevis' love again and that means he got done talking with Megumi."

* Chad`Winters shifts his face as the dirt rains on him. He jerks both his guns up and fires two charged shots for Asmodeus
* Xanatos isn't in the way, he knocked Erevis to the side, he lays there a moment. "Wait, you weren't going to move?"

She's still bandaged and walking with a limp, but it's evident from slight water in her eyes that it reacted.

* Angela smiles innocently.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya stares at Angela oddly, like only a 15 year old can.
* Megumi peers at everyone and gets up, wobbling slightly, and turns, limping a ways off and crossing her arms.
<Xanatos> So where am I going to stay?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances at Megumi doing the distance then, then at Xanatos. "The streets, I guess."
<Xanatos> Great. Back to that life style. *he sighs*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks at Xanatos, hestitating. "You may stay with me if you desire."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya looks at Chad, to see if they're joining this giant slumber party.
* Xanatos arches a brow. Then nods. "Only because I don't have anywhere else to go."
<Angela> "Alright." *She looks over Xan* "You're going to need some clothes and things. Ere, I'm sure you can help him with that?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods. "Yes."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks at Angela
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I do not believe so.
<Xanatos> Wait. How does Erevis have a big house?
<Chad`Winters> I believe Xanatos is old enough to find his own clothes and things.
<Angela> "I meant with money."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Ah. Yes, I will give him money.
<DeathStar> <Darien> She's rich because of your book, dude.
* Angela eyes Erevis, in full knowledge of where Ere gets her cash.
<Xanatos> I'll be sure to skin a rabbit and wear it's pelt. Thanks Chad. *he pauses, stiffening up* My what?
* Chad`Winters glances over at Aya, shrugging for now.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> If you desire all the monetary value of the book, I will give it to you. It is yours.
<Megumi> 6Angela's datapad chimes.
* Angela pulls it out and checks it over.
* Xanatos seems to still be shocked about the book thing. Then shakes his head. "Alright. I'll open an account that you can transfer it into."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis bows her head. "Very well."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien whistles. "Nice."
<Chad`Winters> Interesting.
* Angela smiles to herself.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I guess it's Erevis who will live on the streets now. Ah, life. How funny you are.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien seems pleased.
<Angela> "I can always lend her money for the house."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I do not require charity.
<Xanatos> It's cool. Anyone can stay in my house.
* Chad`Winters studies Xan now.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis bows her head and moves off.
* Angela taps away on her datapad.
<DeathStar> 6 *Darien watches her go, then looks at Xan.
* Megumi turns and limps back slightly.
<Xanatos> I forgot she doesn't do the joking thing. *he frowns and jogs after her* Yo wait a second.
<Megumi> Technically, Erevis finished the book on her own. Not the entireity was Xanatos Durran's.
<Angela> "Hey, I never said charity."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien watches Xan go after Erevis, then looks at Megumi. "Uh huh. You SO know she's going to give him everything because it's the honorable thing t odo."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances at Xanatos as he catches up.
<Megumi> I do not care.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Really?
<Xanatos> I wasn't being seriously about all of it.

<Xanatos> You finished it.
* Megumi eyes Darien. 1"Why should I be mindful of where Mister Durran's property liquidates?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It does not matter.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shakes his head. "Forget it."
<Xanatos> Does to me. Just give me a percentage of it, and we'll call it even. You think I would actually put you out on the streets? No one should live that life.
<Megumi> I am happy with her-- Not her circumstances.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I refuse.
<Xanatos> Then I refuse to take any of it. I will live on the streets.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Fair enough.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis crosses her arms. "Then I will simply not use the money, and you can let it waste away."
<Xanatos> Then so be it. *he shrugs*
<Angela> "I'm sure you can stary with Ere, Xan."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Very well
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis turns and moves briskly on.
* Angela raises a brow, a hint.
<Angela> *stay
<DeathStar> 6* Darien whistles again, glancing at Chad. "Now that's comedy."
* Megumi closes her eyes and huffs toward Darien. 1"You need not worry of me impeding your convenience by asking of favors from Dearest Ariel, either."
<Chad`Winters> Hilarious. 6He looks at Darien, his tone neutral.
* Xanatos scratches his head. "Oh wait. You keep the money, just let me stay at your place." He says to Erevis.
* Angela eyes her datapad for a reply.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It is your house. And I will not keep the money.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks at him. It's clear this argument cannot be won.
<Xanatos> Oh, then what are you going to do with it?
<DeathStar> 6* Aya looks at Chad, then at the two.
<Angela> "So Xan, why don't you let Ere stay with you."
* Xanatos wonders why Angela followed him, when they both clearly walked away.
* Angela seems to be needing to head that way.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I will do nothing with it.
* Megumi sits down and sighs long.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances at Megumi.
<Xanatos> Very well. I'll take the house and the money on one condition. You stay.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Only until I find another location that I can afford with my own money.
<Xanatos> Suit yourself.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I dress myself, yes. 6* She nods, moving on.
* Xanatos shakes his head, chuckling.
<Xanatos> Wait, I don't know where it is.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Then you should follow me.
* Angela pats Xan's shoulder and walks past him, toward an apartment building, checking her datapad still.
<Xanatos> If I must. *he smiles and follows after Erevis, glancing at Angela*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks at Chad. "Now things are getting interesting."
