<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr holds Aya's hand while they stare over the candy on sale in the store. "Now, pick out what you want for your birthday tomorrow. And we have to hurry, so your dad doesn't worry. More than he already does. I don't think the shelf will keep him busy for long." 6* She notes with an amused giggle. Aya nods her head, staring with sructinty at the candy.
<DeathStar> 6* The two purchase the candy of choice, and step out when suddenly Zephyr grunts from a dart in her neck. She stumbles against the wall, tearing it as quickly as possible, only to get a fist in the face as she crashes. Aya screams as two men grab her. A man with a cane leans there, watching impassively. "Quickly. Bring the child before the father notices what has happened. And kill the girl."
<DeathStar> 6* The man waves his hand in utter dismissal of the Dragoon, and turns to follow his other lackeys as the biggest of the men pulls out a gun and aims it at Zephyr
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stares blankly at the fridge, as if unable to comprehend where his eggnog went.
* Chad`Winters steps out of room, a pair of goggles on his head. He's spent as much time in his room these last few days as possible.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shifts the milk, as if his eggnog would be behind it. He shifts the milk back.
* Drasek sits on the couch, sprawled out with his feet propped up on it, he is drinking a beer. "Megumi." He says to Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien takes a deep breath, then looks at Drasek. "What about her?"
* Chad`Winters looks over at Darien. 1"Lose something?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis stands on the roof of the building, going through her excerises. She's not wearing her wig, despite being on the roof.
<Angela> * The sound of somethign sparking can be heard from room 102, where Angela works on something, possibly another insane deathtrap of scientific progress.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Eggnog.
<Drasek> She nick'd it. *he says casually*
<Ariel> 6* Siawase stumbles by, looking drunk.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes Siawase, then offers a catnip
* Drasek pauses. "We have a cat?"
* Megumi exits Erevis' room, stretching luxuriously, then yawns behind her hand, eyes clenched shut in rebellion at light. She ambles over on autopilot, pats Siawase twice and heads for the stairs.
<DeathStar> 6* It is almost night time. Parties are beginning everywhere.
* Chad`Winters glances at his datapad. 1"Anyone seens Zephyr and or Aya?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> They went out over an hour ago to get candy.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien goes back to looking at the fridge.
<Chad`Winters> An hour ago? They should be back by now.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Should they? 6* He looks up blankly.
* Megumi lurches up the stairs slowly, groaning.
<Drasek> Think the ickle scamps are alright?
<Chad`Winters> I think so. 6He scratches the back of his head.
<Ariel> 6* Siawase walks head first into a wall, and then falls over.
<DeathStar> 6* The front door to the lobby busts open and an older women stumbles in with long, black hair. She appears to be almost 24; but what might stand out the most is the fact she's clutching her stomach, which is stained red from blood.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien freaks out momentarily, grabbing for a gun that he doesn't carry.
* Chad`Winters turns to the girl then blinks and moves over to her to grab her.
* Angela steps out of her room, a bit of dirt on one of her cheeks, looking about, her long hair tied back in a flowing tail, wearing a mechanic's smock. "So... what now?"
* Drasek jumps up quickly. "What the bloody hell is going on!?"
<Chad`Winters> Zephyr?! 6He picks her up and moves her over to the couch setting her down. 1"Darien get a medical kit now."
<DeathStar> 6* The woman leans against Chad. She appears unconscious, as if moving via willpower alone. She has piece of paper in her hand.
* Megumi ambles back down the few steps she's made it, just as slowly. 1"...What is... the noise..?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien pauses, then looks at Angela. "Medical kit!"
* Chad`Winters pluts his hand on against her wound and he eyes the paper, grabbing it. He reads it quickly.
* Angela runs abck into her room, running out and over to the woman with a large megical kit.
<Angela> *MEDICAL
<DeathStar> 6* It reads simply: They took Aya.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes the wound. "It looks like they tore right through her chest with something big."
* Chad`Winters face suddenly goes blank. 1"Get her stabilized Angela, and make it quick."
* Ariel looks in... but when she sees the scene, she rushes over. Ariel rests a hand over her heart, doing her best to use her own energy to stablize her.
<DeathStar> 6* There's also the number 9 on the paper.
* Megumi pauses. 1"...Stabilized..?" 6She slowly opens her eyes and gapes slightly.
* Chad`Winters stands up, his disposition very different from before, he rushes to his room.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien reads the paper, then looks grim. "Sweet Jesus, this is Zephyr."
* Angela starts to go to work, pulling out a nanite pack and bandagesm working around her wound, she's gotten good at this, it seems.
* Drasek stands there, scratching his headslightly. "Whoa whoa, what about Zephyr?"
* Angela seems to ignore the realisation, but she adjusts what she's doing to treat a Dragoon.
* Megumi considers metabolic manipulation, but eyes Angela, figuring if that works out to the same effect, it's best not to work up Zephyr's immunity to her in case of. Well. -Other- emergencies.
* Chad`Winters steps out of his room again, wearing his tact suit, Ebony and his other pistol in it's holster. 1"They took Aya."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rubs the back of his head furiously, clearly trying to form thoughts. "Why? Who?"
<Drasek> Wait. That's Zephyr?! *he points down to the woman*
* Megumi seems about to question that as well, but Darien fills in.
<Angela> "Yes, now be quiet."
<Megumi> Miss Zephyr has altered her own time on several occasions.
<Chad`Winters> I don't know. She wrote the number 9 on the paper. But I have no clue what it means. 6He slides clicks his tact belt on.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Um. 9. Maybe someone called 9 took Aya.
* Chad`Winters kneels down next to Zephyr. 1"Zephyr, can you hear me."
* Drasek narrows his eyes at Angela. Before glancing to Chad. "Maybe there were 9 people?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr appears completely unconscious
<Angela> "Air burns... this was done with a miniature rail gun."
<Megumi> It could mean many things. Nine as an alias, nine people, nine as a time, nine as a location, nine as a symbol...
<Chad`Winters> Than they knew who Zephyr was. 6He stands up.
* Chad`Winters pulls his datapad and begins searching for the nearest candy stores.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Clearly they didn't know her well enough if she lived.
<Angela> "They didn't know she can make herself tougher."
* Megumi frowns toward Angela. 1"The dog girl used a rail gun, but I find it highly unlikely that she would either be here or attack Miss Zephyr. Are rail guns more common than I had thought?"
<Chad`Winters> She most likely was hiding the fact she learned how to change her age.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Typically not.
<Chad`Winters> NRP: again.
* Angela finishes bandaging her up, looking up as she wipes blood off her hands. "She needs rest."
<Drasek> Oh I need a drink. *he glances at the beer in his hands* Oh, right. *he takes a gulp*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes the location of two candy stores, then points. "This one is closest." 6* He notes, having looked at Chad's datapad.
* Megumi presses her fingertips against one another thoughtfully. 1"She is going to be angry when she wakes up, if we have not retrieved Little Aya before then."
* Ariel eyes Angela... she trusted her work, but this seemed to be too severe to dismiss so easily.
<Chad`Winters> I'll need your help for sure Darien. Let's go. 6He looks at Angela. 1"The second she wakes up, let me know what's going on." 6He moves to the door, opening it forcely
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grabs his coat, and a miniture weapon. He then hurries out after Chad.
<Angela> "The nanites I gave her are similar to thsoe froma healing tank. She needs to be moved carefully to a bed."
* Megumi taps her lip, and heads up the stairs with more urgency.
<Drasek> Don't forget me. *he sets the beer down and moves after them*
<Chad`Winters> This 9 doesn't make any sense Darien. 6He begins sprinting.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Tell me about it. I mean, granted, my brain is cheddar cheese, but I really don't remember a 9.
* Chad`Winters glances back at Drasek. 1"If you're following, you'll listen to me, the last time someone put themselves before my daughter. I killed them.
* Ariel nods slowly, "...I'll look after her Angela." She carefully picks Zephyr up.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr is dead weight. It's almost like she's purposely unconscious
<Chad`Winters> 6. 6He looks over at Darien.
<DeathStar> <Darien> 6. Six. Six. Six.
* Ariel is glad she has the strength of a Dragoon then to move her.
* Drasek looks confused. "Six?"
<Chad`Winters> V.I. 6He unholsters Ebony, apparently not in the mood to play games.
* Angela smiles softly at Ariel. "We'll be watching her together then."
<DeathStar> <Darien> V.I. 6* He says in a grunt. "God. I spent years trying to bust them. But I thought you guys got them after..well.."
<Chad`Winters> We assumed they all died. It's possible one survived. 6He narrows his eyes. 1"Who did Zephyr have most contact with that she'd recognize?"
<DeathStar> 6* They arrive at the scene of the candy store, which has been closed off by cops. They can see a headless guy on the ground.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Hard to say. She wasn't involved with the V.I. operations I led.
<Drasek> Oi. Glad i'm not him.
* Megumi relates the very little she knows to Erevis.
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue and stops. 1"How do we get past them?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis turns as Megumi arrives and tells her. Her face takes a strange look, and she leans over the edge of the roof, as if debating jumping.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Unlikely we can.
<Megumi> ...Erevis?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Where did Chad Winters go?
* Chad`Winters grunts and he moves upto the scene line.
<Megumi> He has left the building, but it was not long ago. Perhaps we could see him from here.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> No. 6* She turns and moves back down the stairs.
<DeathStar> 6* The cops don't pay him much mind, but Darien's coughs, as if afraid they'll be busted.
* Megumi follows Erevis like a good little sidekick.
* Chad`Winters moves around, trying to get a better view of the situation.
* Angela takes a seat next to Zephyr's bed when Ariel gets around to putting her down.
* Drasek adjusts his suit and tilts his head, he glances around. "Like that's not obvious, mate." He says to Darien.
<Megumi> They mentioned the two had been shopping for candy.
<DeathStar> 6* Chad would just see them standing over a dead guy with a rail gun beside him. They appear to be taking photos of him.
* Chad`Winters quickly undoes his tact belt and he turns, tossing it to Drasek and motions to hide it under his coat.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis arrives in the lobby. She moves over to take a datapad, working on candy.
* Drasek catches it and shifts it into his coat.
* Chad`Winters then turns, looking for any sort of sign from Aya.
<DeathStar> 6* Chad sees nothing.
<Chad`Winters> Darien, do you see anything? 6He turns, studying the headless man and the rail gun.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shakes his head. "Nope. No clues. And I doubt the guy has an ID."
* Ariel sits down next to Zephyr, her hand still glowing. "...I'm worried about the others."
* Chad`Winters clenches his fist. He turns, looking for an employee.
<DeathStar> 6* The employees are well beyond his reach, and already being questioned.
<Megumi> Does 'six' mean anything to you, Erevis?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> No.
<Angela> "It's troublesome... Aya has a habit of being kidnapped."
<Drasek> Well mate, what's the plan?
* Chad`Winters grabs his datapad and eyes the store, checking to see if they have a security system.
<DeathStar> 6* Inside, not outside.
<Ariel> "Not due to her own merit... though I don't know if that's good or bad."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> There was too many candy locations in this city.
<Chad`Winters> ...6He turns, looking around for any camera's facing the street.
<Megumi> They like headed for the nearest.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods, then moves outside, grabbing her trench coat and sliding it on.
<DeathStar> 6* She forgoes the wig, apparantly in a hurry.
<DeathStar> 6* There appears to be a camera, but the angle looks horrible.
* Megumi tilts her head slightly, wondering how she would have come to that conclusion before Erevis, but follows her quickly aside.
* Chad`Winters eyes the street and begins hacking into the cities system to access the camera
<DeathStar> 6* Darien keeps his back to the cops now.
<DeathStar> <Darien> It almost seems too suspicious they would pick this night of all nights.
<Angela> "She's just trying to outdo my record."
* Drasek sighs, feeling they are wasting time, but knows they have no other leads.
<Chad`Winters> A sick message.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Guys these efficent don't send sick messages.
<DeathStar> *this
<Drasek> Lovely way to start the new year.
<Chad`Winters> Come on...6He continues working.
<DeathStar> 6* Chad gets the video feed, but all he sees is a side angle of a guy in the shadows and with a cane. And Zephyr being shot.
<Ariel> "She has one helluva head start..." *watches over Zephyr*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis arrives on the scene. She tucks back her white streak under her red hair, apparantly not going to be totally careless.
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue. 1"Damn't
<Drasek> What?
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... 6* He spots Erevis. "Okay, I got a new plan."
<Angela> "Nine times before PAX. I was Cran's daughter, after all."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien suddenly steps forward, grabbing Erevis by the arm, and yanks her out of sight of the cops. She blinks, clearly not expecting that.
<Chad`Winters> Nothing. I can't even figure where he left to. 6He turns eyeing Darien.
* Megumi frowns slightly, opening her eyes as she hears shuffling with Erevis and steps to follow Darien with a bit of a scowl.
* Drasek arches a brow, clearly about to give Darien a beat down.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien pushes her against the wall. "You'd know where Aya is at."
* Chad`Winters eyes Megumi there now too, he definetly doesn't look happy now.
<Megumi> What are yo-- ...Oh.
<Megumi> I see.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis gives him an edged look, both of them mere inches from each other's face.
* Drasek shifts up behind Darien. "Why would she?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes Drasek, then Erevis. "She's psychic."
* Chad`Winters turns and moves over to them. 1"Erevis, if you know where they went then please, tell me."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien puts his hand against the wall, pinning himself closer to Erevis. "So, give me a little psychic insight."
* Megumi narrows her eyes at Darien, this is a very narrow path between two dangerous outcomes.
* Angela sighs and looks over Zephyr, "Wonder why she ramins a child most of the time..."
* Drasek narrows his eyes, even if she is psychic, he's been very violent.
<Megumi> Mister Starr, you are aware what could happen if she is privvy to that 'talent.'
<DeathStar> <Erevis> You know it does not work this way, Darien Starr.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances to the right though, instead of facing Darien.
* Chad`Winters eyes Erevis than looks to her right.
<DeathStar> 6* Looks like a simple alley.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien gets that little smile that someone gets when they heard something they just told the person not to say.
* Chad`Winters grabs his tact belt and guns from Drasek and attaches them. He begins moving down the alley
* Ariel shakes her head, "I can't say... prehaps she's wanted a childhood. Maybe there are things with being an adult she wanted to avoid... or maybe she couldn't control it until she was put into mortal danger. If anything... you'd have to ask her."
<DeathStar> <Darien> You're a real bitch. You know that? 6* He just leans back.
<DeathStar> 6* Chad would find a circular spot where the snow seems to be several inches lower than the rest of the area. As if someone removed the top layer of snow.
<Drasek> Hey, watch your mouth, she didn't do anything to you.
* Megumi clenches one of her fists tightly, refraining by attempting to keep track of Chad's departure as well.
* Chad`Winters kneels down and pulls out his datapad, scanning the area.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns to Drasek. "Sorry, mate." 6* He holds up his hands. "Let me go help the guy who just lost his child." 6* He turns and walks off.
<DeathStar> 6* Energy readings.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis lets out her breath, closing her eyes as she leans against the wall still.
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue and he traces his finger along the edge of the circle.
<Drasek> You alright? *he glances at Erevis*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Aya Winters should be our focus.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien kneels beside Chad. "I could beat it out of her, if you wanted."
<Megumi> Tell that to Mister Starr.
<Drasek> Right. *he shifts to move after the others*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Darien Starr is doing what must be done. He is willing to go lengths for others.
<Chad`Winters> It's fine Darien. 6He then brushes the snow away.
<Angela> "Heh... I wanted to be a kid before... then when I was young again I found myself wanting to grow up."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis stays where she is at, lest she antagonize the others.
<Megumi> I realize that, but when it involves you...
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes the circle. "Okay, I got a theory."
* Megumi opens her fingers and allows the blood to return to her extremities. 1"...That can be problematic."
<Chad`Winters> Teleport. 6He stands up looking at Darien
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yep. Teleport. Which means likely they had a ship nearby.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Since no one keeps secret bases in L.A.
<Drasek> Why wouldn't they?
<DeathStar> <Darien> It's...L.A.
<Drasek> And?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien just rolls his eyes.
<Drasek> What now. *he changes the subject*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis studies Megumi. "He is not wrong."
<Chad`Winters> That's gives us several miles of ground to cover. 6He pulls his datapad out, tapping on it.
<Megumi> No... he is not. Am I?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Don't suppose we could hack a sateliete.
<Chad`Winters> On it. 6His fingers move about on his datapad.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances to the side. "I do not wish for there to be problems between you and the others because of me."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Granted, we could probably bring the military down on us.
<DeathStar> <Darien> It would be easier to ask the psychic.
* Angela sighs a bit, "You healed her up right?"
<Drasek> You'll watch how you ask her from now on, else feel my fist again. *he warns Darien*
<Chad`Winters> You just enjoy scaring her into giving info.
<DeathStar> <Darien> You don't even care about her. So don't pretend now.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks up at Drasek.
<DeathStar> <Darien> It's Aya's life, Chad. I'm sorry, but if I knew a quick and concise way to get to her, I'd take it. Frankly, I thought you were the same.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances back at Chad.
<Drasek> Right. I don't. You are completely correct. *he says sarcastically*
* Chad`Winters looks over at Darien and just nods, he lowers his datapad.
* Chad`Winters turns and he begins moving towards Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis seems to be waiting for him. She looks at him approaching.
* Ariel regards Zephyr, "I... am doing what I can. I'm not entirely sure how this healing works..."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stands up as well, turning and following.
<Chad`Winters> Erevis, I need your help. Will you offer it to me?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes.
* Megumi clenches her fingers and extends them a few times, then smiles at Erevis. 1"This I know, which is why I am trying very hard to cope. Something I wished to learn from school was humanity because it would give me the ability to see things differently, however, that is not an option."
* Drasek narrows his eyes, rolling up his sleeves as he moves after them.
* Megumi grows quiet when the others return.
<Chad`Winters> I don't want to bring the military in on this and because of that, I need your help finding Aya.
* Angela sits back. "I guess she'll wake up when she's ready..."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> You wish for me to tell you where Aya is at; even if it complicates things in the long run?
<Chad`Winters> Point me in the right direction Erevis. That is nothing more than our Erevis would've done in this same situation.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis steps closer, bringing her lips up to Chad's ear, almost if she were an intimate lover. She whispers something into his ear.
* Chad`Winters tilts his head, looking at Erevis
* Megumi bites her lip and steps away slightly, twitching.
* Drasek crosses his arms, waiting.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis pulls away, glancing away.
* Chad`Winters closes his eyes as he takes a deep breath. 1"42..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> 7 x 6?
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis closes her eyes. Perhaps it was what was said to her, or what she said, but she seems sadder.
<Drasek> Again with the bloody numbers. *he groans*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grabs his own datapad, checking something. "There is a hunger on the corner of 7th and 6th. 42?"
<Chad`Winters> Which way? 6He turns to Darien
<DeathStar> 6* Darien points off in a direction. "However, I doubt they're there. Which means we need to find out what shuttle left, then get our own."
<Chad`Winters> I'll start trying to hack in. We should get moving there. 6He pulls his datapad out and begins typing.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes his watch. "And we only have a little more time until midnight."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods. He begins to lead the way, then grabs his comm. "Angela. Tell Ariel we're following a lead at a hanger on the corner of 7th and 6th. It seems V.I. took Aya."
<Drasek> So much for getting pissed. *he sighs as he moves along*
* Chad`Winters follows alongside Darien, his eyes glancing up briefly as he moves
* Angela looks up at Ariel, who could hear that.
<Angela> "Ten four."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr suddenly sits up.
<Angela> "Zeph?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr gets off the bed, then glances at her hand, forming and deforming her weapon. Her eyes appear to be without humanity right now. She tilts her head, apparantly satisfied.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien kneels down, eyeing the dark hanger.
<Ariel> "...Zephyr?"
* Chad`Winters kneels beside Darien.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Looks like it's closed for the night.
<Angela> <Zephyr...?>
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr glances at Angela now.
* Ariel frowns a little, uncertain if she's overlooked or ignored.
<Chad`Winters> A shuttle left roughly an hour ago. 6He lowers his datapad.
* Angela looks back at her. <There's no stopping you, do you want me along?>
<Drasek> Any clue where they were going?
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> <You will be a burden. I will go alone.> 6* She turns and walks out.
* Ariel looks at Angela, then Zephyr leaving... well, she's not letting Zephyr leave her behind.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sneaks over to the doors, checking the locks.
* Chad`Winters slides up next to Darien and hands him a small blade.
* Angela looks at Ariel. "She's right, I'm dead weight. Take care of her Ariel?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis remains recluseively to the side
<DeathStar> 6* Darien takes it, and then begins to work on the locks.
<Chad`Winters> I'll work on that. 6He pulls out his datapad and begins typing on it again, aiming to piggy back on the satellites.
* Ariel gives Angela a nod. That's a given.
* Drasek glances around for any guards.
<DeathStar> 6* Probably out partying.
<Angela> "I'll set up some sort of command here..."
* Drasek rubs his chin, glancing down to watch them work.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien takes out the lock and opens the door.
* Angela grabs her comms. "Zephyr and Ariel are headed out to meet you."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks down as Angela's voice blurs out loud; he forgot to mute it.
* Chad`Winters eyes Darien and twitches slightly
<DeathStar> 6* Darien gets that blank look.
* Drasek pauses, glancing at Darien. "...brilliant." He murmurs.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis frowns a bit. A guard begins to head for them, speaking into his radio.
<Drasek> The jig is up, mates.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr scales the wall of a building, reaching the roof. She begins to move along the rooftops.
<Megumi> Should I drop him?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien heads into the hanger to find a good shuttle.
* Megumi eyes the guard, to see if he's inspecting or approaching with weapon already drawn
* Chad`Winters moves in behind Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Inspecting, it would seem. And in 15 more seconds, he'll be on them.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis slides into the hanger.
* Drasek shifts inside to leave Megumi to her work.
* Megumi remains behind, waiting in the shadow of the doorframe.
* Ariel follows after Zephyr... more concerned about staying with her, than getting to the location quickly.
<DeathStar> 6* The guard shines his light on the open door.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr moves along at a quick pace - to keep up, she'd have to move fast. She's never seen Zephyr this fast before.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien begins to break into a shuttle.
* Chad`Winters glances back at the doorway and he moves behind the shuttle wing as he types
* Megumi rises from a crouch, her left wrist held by her right hand and drives her elbow up into the guard's chin. She knows enough at this point to exert her force manipulation, but to infinitely restrain from breaking things.
<DeathStar> 6* The guard goes down.
* Ariel moves as fast as she can then. The fact she needs to move this fast is more troubling than moving.
* Angela smiles a little, heading back to her room to retrieve something.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien breaks in and climbs in side. He rubs the controls lovingly.
* Megumi attempts to drag the guard inside, but yeah, she's not particularly strong anymore.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Who's a good shuttle.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis reaches down and grabs the man for her.
<Chad`Winters> There heading to Europe. 6He steps into the shuttle and sits in the co-pilots seat. 1"Get us there as fast as possible."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods, pulling on a headset. He begins to power up the shuttle.
<Drasek> Ah, I'm going home, then. *he steps onto the shuttle and sits down.
* Megumi moves the guard inside the doorframe so when others come to check they don't -instantly- go in guns blazing, then goes to join the others with Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis finishes dragging the man, then climbs in.
* Chad`Winters taps his comm. 1"Zephyr, where are you?"
<DeathStar> 6* No response.
* Chad`Winters switches to Ariel. 1"Ariel, come in. Where are you two right now?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien finishes and begins to pull them out of the hanger.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis takes a seat in the far back; probably intentionally.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr leaps down from a building and lands on the wing of the shuttle. She hops off and pulls herself inside.
* Ariel takes her comm, trying to speak as she runs. "Rooftops. Couple blocks away. Lost track of the exact address, trying to keep up with Zephy-" She cuts off when she sees Zephyr jump.
* Chad`Winters glances back at Zephyr, quickly studying her.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr takes a seat, closing her eyes.
* Chad`Winters glances forward then eyes his datapad again.
* Drasek glances to Zephyr, studying her.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien waits for ARiel, keeping his hand on the lever for the booster.
* Ariel jumps down and gets into the shuttle... a little less dramatic than Zephyr. "...closer than I thought, apparently."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien yanks the lever forward and the shuttle zooms into the sky.
<Megumi> ...People used to complain about my approach to things.
* Megumi shifts her glance to Erevis, musing. 1"...Do you intend to hide away the entire time?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I am in plain sight.
<Chad`Winters> Erevis, if youw ere told to remember anything else. I would appreciate it if you told me now. 6He shows Darien his datapad.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I will keep that in mind.
<Megumi> Yes, but you avoid us because you fear being confronted about the future. What you can do, you must, what you cannot, you will not. There is no reason to wither away until the key moments.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods, adjusting his course.
* Drasek shifts his eyes to look at them all, narrowing his eyes.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis tilts her head. "I was unaware I was withering away."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks to the side, angryn ow.
* Megumi reaches up and flicks at Erevis' shoulder. 1"...I fear my being literal has come to be taken too often."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis says nothing. She's clearly frustrated and mad.
<Drasek> Remember? How would she remember something that hasn't happened?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Psychic voices.
<Megumi> It is not important to this situation, Drasek, please pay it no mind.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks back at ARiel.
<Drasek> It bloody well is important, reason enough for that git to threaten her. *he points to Darien*
* Angela steps out in a coat, strapping something to her back as she steps out of the building.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien holds up his hands. "I never threatened her."
<Drasek> Right, and i'm a soddin fairy.
<Megumi> Mister Starr is frequently unreasonable.
<DeathStar> <Darien> You're gay?
* Megumi just crosses her arms.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks blankly at Drasek.
<Drasek> God, you're a git.
<DeathStar> <Darien> But you said...but you wanted...Oooooh. I get it
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods slowly.
* Chad`Winters twitches slightly and he gets up, then kneels on the shuttle floor. His hands begin tracing the lines in the floor
* Ariel sighs, "...can we stay on the mission, and not talk about the soddin fairy?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks at Chad, and her expression softens. She stands up and puts a hand on Chad's shoulder. "Chad Winters. You should rest your mind."
<Drasek> Cute, Pinky. *he eyes Ariel*
* Chad`Winters grunts and turns around, his eyes following his hands.
* Megumi gazes off, murmuring something rather odd for her. 1"My first visit to the european continent and under such circumstances..."
<DeathStar> -TIME JUMP-
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes the time. It's almost midnight . Or is, in some places.
* Chad`Winters stands up, taking several deep breaths. Having been tracing lines in the floor the entire time.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien brings the shuttle to land in the same airport as their mysterious guests. They seem to be in a rather empty part of the country, and the only person who owns this is some millionare recluse.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis has been with Chad the entire time, though unable to use gifts like Katrina McCormick could.
<DeathStar> 6* The airport itself is really just a runway with a few buildings. And it seems closed.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well. This place certainly seems suspicious.
* Ariel opens her eyes, having been meditating for the trip. This WAS Darien flying.
<Chad`Winters> Than we check it out. 6He lowers the shuttle ramp and moves down it, pulling out Ebony again.
* Drasek has been quiet, eyes locked on the ceiling, once they land he stands up and moves down the ramp after Chad.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis rises and follows as well. She gazes about, then narrows her eyes slightly. "We are not alone."
<Chad`Winters> Where? 6He raises his gun.
<Drasek> Good, I could use a good tussel.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> All around us.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leans against a bar, glancing outside. "Great. Welcome calavary."
* Chad`Winters clicks the safet off and he glances around. 1"Do you sense anything below us?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Impossible to tell.
* Chad`Winters pulls his datapad out and he holds it towards the ground, scanning for something
* Ariel checks on Zephyr, seeing how she's reacting to this.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr forms a sniper rifle, then breaks out a window. She begins to take up aim.
<DeathStar> 6* She seems to be in an assassin mode.
<DeathStar> 6* Chad's scans are blocked by something.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances back at the poor window, then back out.
* Ariel curses under her breath.
* Megumi sticks close to Erevis, since her best sensor is her hearing and she has no long range capability unlike a sniper.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr begins to pull the trigger, hitting unknown targets in the dark.
<Chad`Winters> Something's blocking my scan's. 6He lowers his datapad.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Then there's something down there worth blocking.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien winces as the gun begins to fire.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I would assume the entrance would be in one of the buildings.
* Drasek stands there, he frowns. "Well at least someone is getting to have fun."
* Ariel departs the shuttle. She can't fight in this situation... but she can attempt to protect her daughter.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien hops off the shuttle. A stray shot flies for Ariel.
<Chad`Winters> Then we're going down. 6He holsters his gun and slides both hands along his tact belt. He then moves over and kneels, spraying two small canisters of foam along the ground in a circle.
* Ariel forms her blade to deflect the shot, staying low to the ground.
<DeathStar> <Darien> You seriously plan to try to get through the airport runway?
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis steps right out into the open, drawing some fire to herself.
* Megumi freaks, keeping up with Erevis, but clearly not liking that plan!
<DeathStar> 6* Darien ducks back from a shot. Zephyr could shoot faster, in his opinion.
* Drasek remains standing, keeping an eye out for stray fire headed for him.
<DeathStar> 6* No one shoots at Drasek. no one likes him; that, or he has to step out.
<Chad`Winters> I'm taking a chance, yes. 6He steps back and grabs clicks a button his tact belt and the foam explodes directionaly downwards into the ground.
<DeathStar> 6* A shot flies out for Chad Winters. Erevis extends her scythe to parry.
<DeathStar> 6* All shots stop firing momentarily at the explosion.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances down at the dark hole; impossible to say how deep it is.
* Ariel doesn't form her armour yet... she doesn't need the encumberance yet. She stays next to Zephyr, as Chad does his thing
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr pulls back from the window, making her weapon vanish. She appears to be biding her time again.
* Drasek stepped off the shuttle at the beginning, he's obviously just not important enough to shoot, yet.
* Chad`Winters slides his hand along his belt again and squeezes two things in his hand. He tosses them into the hole as they light up green.
<DeathStar> 6* They fall down; he clearly didn't go far enough down
<DeathStar> 6* No more shots have followed up, though
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I didn't think that would be possible.
<Drasek> We should just got for those huts, then. *he points to the houses*
<Chad`Winters> Like I said I was taking a chance. 6He glances out the window, to look at the other buildings
<DeathStar> <Darien> A trap. Maybe you should try again.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien kneels at the hole.
* Chad`Winters nods and he reaches along his tact belt again and he drops a small orb into the hole
<DeathStar> 6* Darien, still looking into the hole, widens his eyes. "OH YOU MOTHER FUCKER."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien throws himself backwardfs.
* Chad`Winters eyes Darien. 1"You done yet?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien opens his eyes. "Where's the boom?"
* Ariel looks at the two clowns.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis tilts her head slightly.
<Chad`Winters> I haven't triggered it yet. 6He taps a spot on his belt and a suddenly explosion erupts
<DeathStar> 6* Pieces of rock and asphalt fly upward.
* Drasek whistles. "I need some of those toys."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stands up again.
* Drasek shifts back so not to be pelted by debris.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr remains quiet this entire time.
<DeathStar> 6* A shot flies out for Chad's head.
<DeathStar> 6* Two fly out for Drasek
<DeathStar> <Darien> I think we pissed them off.
* Chad`Winters ducks low.
* Megumi winces where she stands. 1"...Why are we throwing bombs in a hole?"
<DeathStar> 6* A rail gun blast flies out for the shuttle. Darien blinks, then grabs Ariel, throwing both of them into the hole.
* Chad`Winters moves over to the hole looks down it.
<DeathStar> 6* Drasek is hit.
* Drasek glances down, "Oh bugger." He falls forward.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis widens her eyes slightly, then force grabs Megumi, throwing them into the hole next.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr turns her head, then kicks Chad into the hole, leaping.
* Drasek moves over and falls into the hall.
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle explodes.
<Megumi> H-hey! A-ahhh!
* Ariel is dragged down, looking back to make sure Zephyr made it. Damn Darien
* Chad`Winters tumbles into the hole, he quickly tries to readjust so he lands properly
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lands onto a metallic surface about 15 feet down.
* Chad`Winters slams into Darien
<DeathStar> 6* Darien howls.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr lands neatly.
* Megumi lands catlike-- then whatever Erevis does.
* Chad`Winters winces in pain as he rolls off Darien. He pushes himself up.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis lands, then drives her scythe into the metallic floor udner them.
* Ariel hits Darien, and trys to roll to the side so she's not in the way of everyone else
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lays there, twitching.
* Drasek land on Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien just dies.
<Drasek> Oh bloody hell. *he rolls off of Darien, laying there*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis uses the emerald sword to cut a hole into the metallic surface, then punches it down, revealing a hallway.
<Chad`Winters> Which way Erevis? 6He pulls his gun out.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> We have found your base.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr jumps in, forming two hand guns, scanning the hallway.
* Ariel gets up, and offers Darien a hand up
* Chad`Winters nods and leaps down, landing beside Zephyr, he holds his guns out
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lays there.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis hops in as well, leaving the scanning to the two.
<Chad`Winters> Clear.
<Drasek> Ponce's actually shot me. *he groans, crawling over to the hole and falls down it*
* Megumi lands softly behind Erevis. She... she has no weapons or equipment whatsoever. Just a ghostly-coloured girl in an indigo kimono. Lala.
<Megumi> Is it anywhere serious?
<Chad`Winters> Erevis, can you sense Aya?
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis makes the sycthe vanish, and hands Megumi a green ball.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> No.
<Drasek> I have no idea. *he lays on his stomach, hiding his wounds*
<Megumi> Then I cannot help you.
* Chad`Winters turns, moving down the hallway, both guns held out infront of him
* Megumi blinks and peers at the sphere. 1"What is this for, Erevis?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Use it as you see fit.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis follows Chad.
* Megumi blinks some more. 1"..." 6She stumbles after Erevis. 1"But you need this, do you not?"
<DeathStar> 6* The hallway seems to be your typical secret military base by some evil organization. Complete with color coordinated hallways.
* Ariel sighs, and pulls Darien to his feet.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I am not without my own power.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien is dead weight and apparantly unconscious
* Chad`Winters eyes the colors
<Megumi> The same goes for me...
* Drasek pulls himself up, checking his wounds. "Oh bugger, ruined my new suit."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Then do not use it if you do nto wish.
<Megumi> If all else fails maybe the broken sword would be useful..
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis and Chad round a corner, revealing three more.
* Chad`Winters slides to a stop, he eyes the colors leading to which hallways
* Megumi lifts the sphere up and eyes it. It is the second time she's seen it, but unlike someone else, she never really tried to use it.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I believe the hallway green would be best.
* Chad`Winters nods to Erevis and he moves down the hallway.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis follows.
* Ariel carries Darien, cursing a little. "...anyone have a med kit?"
* Drasek walks along, holding his side as he goes. "I'd be using it if I did, luv."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis and Chad begin to pull away from the others, as they are not burdened.
* Megumi pauses only once between the two groups, to peer at Ariel and Drasek.
<Chad`Winters> We haven't seen any guards. 6He notes as he runs.
<DeathStar> 6* However, they end up at a locked door, with the words "Security Clearance V.I."
* Drasek isn't straining himself by running.
* Chad`Winters stops at the locked door. He eyes it .
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Apparantly they believe this will be enough
<DeathStar> 6* The locked door gives time for the others to catch up.
* Megumi peers intently at Drasek. 1"Last time I attempted to mend your wounds I was trounced."
<Drasek> Could always try again, luv. *he holds out his arms*
* Megumi eyes him suspiciously, turning to Ariel. 1"What is wrong?"
<Chad`Winters> Apparently. 6He slides a blade into his hand and he moves to the ID reader and he pops the cover off. He then cuts several wires and begins working on opening the door.
<Ariel> "...Darien is unconscious."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien has bootprints on his face.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis pulls off a glove, and when Chad has some of the wires cut, reaches over and touches them. The reader buzzes and the door slides open.
* Megumi squints indignantly, then moves to check him for injuries beyond typically knocked outedness.
<DeathStar> 6* Just unconscious
<Chad`Winters> Nice. 6He nods to Erevis and he sweeps his left gun through the doorway.
<Megumi> He is ...fine.
<DeathStar> 6* They are in another hallway, which leads to a science lab on the far end.
<Ariel> "...he is unconsious, in enemy territory. That's not fine."
<Megumi> He is not injured.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis pulls her glove back on.
* Chad`Winters begins moving faster towards the science lab.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis follows.
<Drasek> Hello. Bullet wounds. *he motions, moving on again*
<DeathStar> 6* Five guards appear behind those debating levels of injury, and aim their weapons.
* Ariel sighs, and is about to start following when she hears the weapons and stops.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr drops down and fires into the back of two of their heads, blowing them clear off. T his makes the other three pause for counter attack by those arguing about levels of injury.
* Chad`Winters moves into the science lab, both his guns sweeping the area.
* Drasek pauses and glances over his shoulder, he moves in to tackle one of them.
* Ariel moves for cover... she can't fight carrying a body.
* Megumi having been facing that direction, waits until they're lined and as they aim, throws her hand forward, projecting force enough to toss them considerably, as well as hold back most of the velocity of a shot.
<DeathStar> 6* Chad is greeted by 15 guards, all who aim at him.
<Megumi> Go, quickly.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis comes to a stop.
<DeathStar> 6* The guards are force thrown into a wall, and tackled. Zephyr turns, firing killing shots.
<DeathStar> <Voice> Lower your weapon, Mr. Winters, and surrender.
* Drasek pauses, very close to one of those kill shots. "BLOODY HELL WOMAN! You almost knicked me!"
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> ...
* Chad`Winters narrows his eyes as he turns to the voice, his guns still held up.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr turns back to the science lab.
* Megumi hesitates upon noticing Zephyr's intents. She wasn't sure if this was a situation in which she was allowed such luxury, since more often than not lately, she has been ostracized for lethal force.
* Drasek mumbles and stands, moving for Erevis and Chad again, pausing when in sightto see the 15 guards.
<DeathStar> <Voice> I won't ask again.
<Chad`Winters> Give me my daughter back. 6He lowers his guns.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr slips to the side, not approaching the lab yet.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien opens his eyes finally.
<DeathStar> <Voice> Drop your weapon on the floor, and kick it to the fine guards, and we'll talk about your daughter.
* Chad`Winters drops the guns and he slides them over to the guards.
* Megumi 's ears twitch and she sets the sphere she was given in her kimono before following Drasek and Zephyr.
<DeathStar> 6* A man hobbles out, leaning on his cane. His face is horriblely scarred, and he has breathing tubes in his throat, and a breathing device on his back. His shoulders are hunched forward. "Ah, Mr. Winters."
<Ariel> "...you awake?" *heading to catch up*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grabs Ariel, not letting her get closer, lest she just walk into the line of fire like everyone else.
* Chad`Winters turns to look at the man, his eyes focused on him and him alone. 1"My daughter."
* Drasek rests against the wall, watching the scene before him, which is a good 15 ft in front of him.
* Ariel stops, looking at Darien
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shakes his head, keeping them in Ariel's hiding spot.
* Ariel gives a small nod.
<DeathStar> <Man> Unharmed, I assure you. Why would I harm such a beautiful girl such as her? 6* He laughs, his voice hoarse and ancient like death
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis stands there neutrally.
<DeathStar> 6* 15 more guards come in behind Megumi and Drasek, aiming weapons at them. It seems they're all surrounded now
* Megumi doesn't react, having heard the approaching footsteps and having made no attempt to hide from the former anyway. She sidles beside Erevis, considering something.
<Chad`Winters> You'll have to excuse me for being rude. I don't recognize you.
<Drasek> Evenin gents. *he waves a hand*
<DeathStar> 6* The man shakes his head, wiping away some spittle from his skinless lips. "I imagine not. I don't look as well as I use to. Ha ha."
<DeathStar> <Man> Ah, and the elusive hyperspace being known as Erevis. This is a real scientific find. 6* He scoffs loudly.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien holds his breath, checking to see if he has anything that could deal with this many guards.
<Chad`Winters> What do you want?
* Ariel watches Darien... wishing she carried more than her sword. She's seeing the appeal of explosives.
<DeathStar> <Man> The girl, Mr. Winters. Her DNA is exceptional. Alexander Cran was a genius.
<Chad`Winters> I thought you learned your lesson the first time you tried taking her.
<DeathStar> <Man> I have her this, don't I?
<DeathStar> *this time
<Chad`Winters> For now.
* Megumi gazes around the room, taking in every feature. She wouldn't expect things to be as convenient as to spot Aya anywhere, but never know when the small things will come in handy.
<DeathStar> 6* This appears to be the outer lab.
<DeathStar> 6* She's probably further inside.
<DeathStar> 6 Darien eyes a stick of gun.

<Megumi> It is not wise to make Mister Winters angry.
* Drasek closes his eyes, there's not blood or anything, but he's in pain for the moment.
<DeathStar> 6* The man coughs with laughter again. "I could kill you all, and I should, but you're all such great scientific finds."
* Megumi inclines her head. 1"How is that? I am a failure of my species."
* Ariel wishes she had a sniper rifle... she wants to shoot this guy. He's annoying.
<DeathStar> <Man> Fair enough. 6*He motions and 15 guards fire at Megumi.
* Chad`Winters clenches his fists. His eyes seem to go wide.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis shifts in front of Megumi, holding out her hands.
* Megumi whips her hand up and outbursts force outright, her more recent defense as she blinks twice.
<DeathStar> 6* Even with Megumi's ability, she can't stop that many shots. Erevis takes a few for her, but a few get through jsut the same.
* Megumi twitches idly, partially in pain, partially in annoyance, she looks at her own wounds and Erevis, twitches just a bit more, and takes a deep, deep breath.
* Chad`Winters 's lip twitches slightly at Erevis and Megumi getting shot up. Weither it's because they got shot or because of megumi's actions is hard to tell
<DeathStar> 6* Darien checks his comm, seeing if he can get a message out for back up. He tries Warren, but gets nothing, so he tries L.A>
* Ariel clenches her teeth.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis kneels there.
<DeathStar> <Man> Now, what to do with you all. 6* He makes a show of thinking. He's definitely V.I.
* Megumi mumbles as she holds Erevis by the shoulders. 1"...Sorry."
<DeathStar> <Man> Tell me, Mr. Winters, do you even know the secret of your own DNA?
* Drasek makes a face, clearly he's focused again, the sight of Erevis getting shot up seems to have donethat.
* Chad`Winters grunts
<DeathStar> <Man> *coughs again, pulling out a cloth to his mouth*
<DeathStar> <Man> Your were designed to take on the actions and abilities others. You're the world's greatest fake. An Id that has no limits. That's why you were so capabtle with the Dragoons. And why your abilities change at your whim to fit situations.
* Megumi breathes quietly to Erevis. 1"I find it difficult to do nothing, but we do not know precisely where Little Aya is."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks at Megumi, and forces a confident look. "This will work out."
* Angela answers Dariens call with a message.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes the message.
* Megumi nods slowly. 1"It must."
<Angela> Message: "Where in the bloody hell are you people?"
<DeathStar> 6* The man leans on his cane. "Your DNA itself is the world's biggest fraud. And little Aya is the culimination of this."
<Chad`Winters> That's news to me, Hodges.
<DeathStar> 6* The man stares at Chad, then sneers. "So your brain isn't as slow as you claim."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sends a tracer out.
* Drasek flexes his fingers casually, eyeing the 15 guards behind them.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien strains to listen, then whispers to Ariel. "What is he talking about?"
* Ariel shakes her head uncertainly.

<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr takes aim, then clicks her comm.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis grabs a canister that reads "Handle Carefully", then rolls it out toward Hodges. He stares down, clearly baffled.
<Chad`Winters> When I get my hands on you, I will make you regret ever being born. 6His hand snaps down to his belt, hitting something. His pistol suddenly glows bright red and explodes, taking out the guards near it.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr fires at the canister, and a big explosion joins Chad's. The entire room lights up.
<DeathStar> 6* A force wave is thrown out and Erevis slams into Megumi
<DeathStar> <Darien> I think that's our signal
* Megumi holds her hand forward to repel as much as possible.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien activates his sword, swinging out to cut the nearest guard down.
* Chad`Winters twists, two blades appearing in his hands as he's sent flying back. He hurls them at two guards, aiming for the throats
* Megumi is consequently tossed by an incoming Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr begins to fire rapid shots down.
* Drasek shields his eyes from the light, and shifts to move backward to attack theguards at their rear.
* Ariel forms her swords and armour, dashing out to slash into the poor grunts with her paired blades.
<DeathStar> 6* The rear guards panic momentarily, then fire.
* Chad`Winters hits the ground and rolls. He quickly searchs the are for hodges
<DeathStar> 6* Hodges seems to have vanished into the inner lab.
* Chad`Winters quickly assess and he dashes towards Zephyr. 1"THROW ME!" 6He leaps up towards her.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr stares at him, then grabs him and swings him around and lets go.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis lays there, trying to get up.
* Drasek shifts to get out of the way of incoming fire. He shifts to knock one of the guard's gun low, reaching out to pull him in the way of the fire.
* Chad`Winters tucks himself as he lands over the guards and rolls, grabbing Ebony. He dashes towards the inner lab
<DeathStar> 6* Darien ducks the incoming fire, then slashes upward to cut down another guard.
<DeathStar> 6* Chad Winters would find himself in another lab much like the outer. At the far end, Hodges hobbles into an elevator, and hits the button, going down.
* Chad`Winters breaks into a full sprint towards the elevator
* Drasek lifts up the guard he is holding's gun and fires towards those firing at him.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr follows after Chad.
* Ariel ducks low as she moves forward, bring the crystal blade to nearly cut a guard in half. She has no compassion for VI.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien slides by, cutting out one's leg and causing him to fall over.
<DeathStar> 6* The guards are quickly, and soundly, defeated.
<DeathStar> <Darien> This is why gloating is bad. Never gloat.
* Chad`Winters rams into the elevator door.
* Megumi kneels and checks on Erevis, glad to conserve her energy thus far.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr fires at it.
* Drasek pats the side of the dead guard's face and drops him. "Time to rest, mate." He says to him.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis leans on the wall, staining it red. "I would appear to be...more injured...than I originally assessed."
* Chad`Winters kicks it then moves his hand along his belt and he slaps an explosive charge on it
<DeathStar> 6* The fire hits the charge, blowing it up.
<DeathStar> 6* The elevator door is destroyed.
* Angela steps up behind Darien.
* Ariel looks at Erevis, then Megumi. Hoping she can take care of this.
* Chad`Winters moves through the smoking opening and he leaps onto the elevator cable, and begins sliding down it

<Angela> "Is everyone alright?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis waves her hand. "I will be fine. Chad Winters needs more help than I."
* Drasek glances at Erevis, then the elevator.

* Chad`Winters eyes ZEphyr pass him by.
<Drasek> NRP: My bad.
* Megumi removes her sash, tearing it down the center. She binds her clothing shut with half, and reaches for Erevis with the other, hastily bandaging her.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'll stay here and help hold the area, if you want to go on, Ariel.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr lands on the bottom.
* Ariel nods to Darien, and heads after Zephyr.
* Chad`Winters grimaces and lets go, free falling the remaining.
<DeathStar> 6* She grabs the doors and rips them open.
<DeathStar> 6* She catches Chad at the last second.
<Drasek> Well i'd just get in the way. *he leans against the wall, apparently still in pain*
* Chad`Winters looks at Zephyr than nods to her. He pulls Ebony out and moves through the elevator doorway
<DeathStar> 6* Darien checks his sword, then at Angela. "We'll be fine."
<DeathStar> 6* They are inside a hidden lab, that is neither outer, or inner. Hodges is hastily working at a computer, with a tube in the background with Aya submerged in it.
* Angela hands him a medpack. "We should keep going then?"
* Chad`Winters lives his gun firing a shot for Hodges hand.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I just said I'm holding this area.
<Megumi> Miss Bennet, please look over Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Hodges freezes.
* Megumi turns and eyes Drasek. 1"..."
<Chad`Winters> GET THE HELL AWAY FROM THERE! 6He holds his gun at him as he moves in
<Drasek> What?
<DeathStar> <Hodges> You are a fool, Chad Winters. She is possibly our greatest weapon!
* Megumi walks toward him, holding out a hand. 1"...Please do not harm me."
* Chad`Winters lowers his gun and fires a round into Hodge's leg
<DeathStar> 6* Hodges howls, leaning against the controls.
* Angela moves over to Erevis. "What happened to her?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Shot.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien listens out for more guards.
<DeathStar> 6* His breathing is raspy now, as if his breathing kit can't keep up.
<Chad`Winters> She'll be nothing more than my daughter. 6He fires his next shot for the breathign kit.
* Drasek holds up a hand to Megumi. "Didn't do it on purpose. Now go." He motions for Megumi to go help Chad.
<DeathStar> 6* It sparks, and Hodges gapes like a fish out of water. His hand slaps down on the controls as he falls over.
* Chad`Winters eyes go wide and he mad sprints towarsd the console
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr eyes the tube as it begins to bubble more.
* Angela pulls out more medical supplies, starting to treat her wound. "Never thought I'd go form fixing ships to people..."
* Megumi narrows her eyes slightly at Drasek, then gazes down the hallway and presses a hand to her side, walking at first, working her way up to a sprint.
* Chad`Winters slides infront of the console and begins staring at the console and it's screen
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis seems to be meditating as she leans on the wall.
* Ariel looks to Chad, "What did he just do?"
<DeathStar> 6* It appears whatever Hodges programmed, it's already set to go.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr aims at the tube with her weapon.
* Megumi gazes down the hole, then leaps down and continues onward, wincing as she hisses through her teeth.
<Chad`Winters> Get her out of there. 6He lowers his gun towards Hodge's thigh and fires a shot into it
<DeathStar> 6* Hodges is dead. Again.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr fires into the tube, breaking the lower part. Chemicals come flooding out.
* Chad`Winters moves his aim towards Hodges head and fires several shots into it. He turns, moving towards Aya now.
* Megumi arrives on the scene, partaking of the strange sights.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya appears to be fine. And non-aged.
* Chad`Winters holsters his gun and he slides a knife into his hand and cuts Aya free, scooping her up.
* Drasek sighs. "You'd think I'd be used to getting shot."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr grabs her head, stumbling once. She appears suddenly exhausted.
* Angela blinks a bit, but shakes her head and keeps working on Erevis.
* Megumi gazes at the old man after a while. 1"...Judging from the multiple, painful entry wounds, we do not wish for this man to survive in any possible, conceivable manner, correct?"
* Ariel looks over the lab... "...got any explosives left, Chad?" She moves quickly to support Zephyr. That train of thought quickly derailed.

* Chad`Winters tosses the knife to the side as he holds Aya tightly. He looks to Zephyr. 1"You ok?"

<Chad`Winters> This place is going to burn. I don't want anyone trying this again. 6He pulls several charges out of his pocket and he turns, tossing one at a computer and another on the a wall.
* Ariel lets her sword disintergrate, and picks up Zephyr. "...good idea."

<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks up as the alarms go off.

* Drasek glances up. "Oh bugger."
<DeathStar> 6* Metal doors begin to slam down, locking down the hidden lab, inner lab, and outer lab.
<Ariel> "...maybe redundant." *heads for the elevator, hoping to beat the doors*
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue. 1"Time to go." 6He moves to leave then eyes teh metal door slamming shut
* Megumi idly takes the opportunity to practice her disassembling implosion technique on the upper half of the utterly and nonsensically, possibly overkilled doctor person.
<DeathStar> <Computer> Warning. V.I. experiments have been released due to self-destruct.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns to eye the door slamming shut. He pounds on it.
* Drasek pushes off the wall. "Experiments?"
* Angela gets up, grabbing Erevis, "A little help here."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis opens her eyes, raising her hand toward the door.

<Chad`Winters> Ariel, cut it down now.
<Megumi> Mm, miss knight should conserve her energy.
<DeathStar> 6* Doors open on either side of the room Chad and Ariel are on it. Deformed looking humanoids leap out, forming their own weapons ala Dragoons.

<Angela> "You got any tricks up your sleeve?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I would be foolish not...to.
<Drasek> That makes two of us. *he glances at Angela* It's Revi, you twit.
<Chad`Winters> Yeah, I'm really concerned about that when we're about to die. 6He raises his gun firing a shot at the the closest defromed dragoon
* Megumi reaches into her kimono and removes the sphere, closing her hand on it. She forms her zanbato from it.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dragoon howls as it's shot backwards. Another leaps at Chad, swinging a scythe for his head.
* Ariel puts Zephyr down gently. She forms her crystal blade, and charges it with energy. She slams it into the door, trying to cut through while Chad distracts the abominations.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis slams her hand against the door, focusing.
* Megumi doesn't take the time to study the contraption or anything and instead just tests it on one of the mutated experiments.
<DeathStar> 6* Ariel cuts through the door.
* Chad`Winters moves in close and twists, slamming ihs shoulder into the dragoon, doing his best to keep Aya safe in his arm
<Drasek> If only I could go hyperspace. *he sighs sadly*
* Chad`Winters glances over at the entrance they come from
* Ariel makes an opening big enough for a person to slide through, and grabs Zephyr again, "Come on! No time for playing."
<DeathStar> 6* Megumi' test subject dodges and fires a dragoon beam at her.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis blows a hole into the door.
* Megumi twists the sword sideways to use it as a shield like she did in times past.
<DeathStar> 6* Then grabs her hand, which smokes. Her glove ruined.
<Drasek> Show off. *he says to Erevis, frowning*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> You are merely jealous at your inadequacy.
* Chad`Winters turns and dashes for the room one of the dragoons came in.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis holds her smoking hand.
<DeathStar> 6* Chad Winters ends up in a dead end.
<Drasek> I know. *he sighs again*

* Ariel proceeds back towards the exit
<DeathStar> 6* Ariel must now climb up the elevator to the Inner Lab, which ahs also been sealed off.
* Chad`Winters hops out and moves back to the way they came in.

* Megumi follows behind Chad, staring down the dragoon things.
<DeathStar> 6* Two Dragoon Mutants leap at Chad.
* Megumi cleaves for them.
<DeathStar> 6* They are cleaved.
<Drasek> Not to panic, but we should leave.
<Ariel> "Zephyr... can you hear me?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I will not move until the others arrive.
* Megumi drags the obscene-sized sword along behind her as she hurries after Chad in this cutscene moment.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr stirs.
<Angela> "Let's keep moving..."
* Chad`Winters ducks and slides into the hole. He raises his hand and fires a cable up. He then is jerked up towards the top of it
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis just ignores Angela.
* Angela sighs
<DeathStar> 6* Darien works on getting the Inner Door open.
<Drasek> I was hoping you wouldn't say that. *he notes*
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr opens her eyes. "Where are we?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I am not sorry to disappoint.
<Ariel> "...oh, what a cheat..." *looks to Zephyr* "You need to climb. Quickly."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grabs one of the dead guard's weapons and fires into the Inner Door.
* Megumi peers upward, a little envious of Chad's tools. She looks for footholds and begins leaping half-floor distances up the shaft.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr stares, but does so.
* Chad`Winters swings to the inner lab and he hits a button on his device and it drops down to Ariel/Zephyr/Megumi. Chad turns moving towards the inner lab door
<DeathStar> 6* Darien keeps firing.
* Chad`Winters grabs his last charge and slaps it against the inner door. He pounds on it with his hand and moves away
* Ariel climbs right behind Zephyr
<DeathStar> 6* A Dragoon Mutant follows after Ariel.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps back.
* Chad`Winters taps his belt and the charge ignites.
<DeathStar> 6* The Inner Door is gone.
* Ariel fires a plasma blast down at the Dragoon monster.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien peers through the smoke at Chad. "You get Aya?"

<Drasek> It's alright, just not used to the noble way. *glances to see Chad* Oh lovely, we can go.

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods her head, then makes her way through the Outer Door.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods, then turns and hurries out.
<Chad`Winters> Ariel, Zephyr and Megumi are behind me.
* Megumi leaps up out of the elevator and lands on the base floor.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr pulls herself up, panting.

* Angela looks at the two, then the doorway. "And Ariel?"
* Chad`Winters see's the three and he dashes after them.
* Ariel climbs up, and cuts the ladder after her, just in case.
* Drasek does the escaping thing.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis works her way through the base, then heads up the hole they made.
* Ariel then picks up Zephyr and runs

* Megumi follows behind Ariel dutifully, dragging the giant sword along behind her.
* Drasek climbs up after Erevis, wincing slightly but not slowing himself down.

* Angela pulls herself up as well.
* Ariel jumps and grabs the ladder as she reaches the escape hatch, climbing as fast as she can.

* Angela looks around to see if Chad is coming back to mind his kid.

* Megumi has been staring at Drasek and Erevis this entire time, listening to the conversation, but just petting Siawase.
* Drasek motions towards Megumi. "Your bodyguard is giving me the eye."

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis tower of beer falls over. She frowns.
<Drasek> What'd I ever do to her?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> You should ask her.
<Ariel> 6* Siawase has started purring by this point. Megumi doesn't seem SO bad...
* Angela shrugs and watches Aya.
* Drasek points to Megumi. "You. Why don't you like me!?"
<Megumi> You harmed Erevis and seem to be a rival for her affections.
* Megumi answers plainly, shifting her hand to the other side of Siawase's face.
<Ariel> 6* Siawase glares at Drasek, but still purrs.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis cannot seem to get the bottles to even stand, and in disgust with her lack of coordination, opts to go to bed with what little diginity she has - though it involves moving in a not so straight line
* Drasek stares and starts laughing. "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard."
<Megumi> If you mean to say you wish to procreate with no emotional attachment, then I must say I dislike you even more.
* Megumi turns her head, studying Erevis. 1"...Are you alright..?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis mumbles something about beer and disgraceful actions before entering her room of 101.
<Drasek> No, you're the dumbest person I've ever met. *he corrects, laughing stll*
* Megumi slowly shifts back to Drasek. 1"I see."
* Drasek coughs, trying to stop laughing. "You're immaturity shows. My fight against Erevis was to test her, see if she was a worthy progenitor."
<Megumi> Why?
<Drasek> Because. *he says with a shrug*
* Megumi tilts her head slightly. 1"I do not understand why that would matter. Either way you are the last of your kind. Given that means no other exists to give you the authority to decide such a thing, there is no one but yourself to behold it."
<Drasek> Stop trying to sound smart, it's annoying
<Megumi> Seems to me that in such a case, it would have less to do with being worthy of anything, and more to do with living up to the expectations you might have had for another of your kind.
* Drasek arches a brow, "And they aren't the same thing?"
* Megumi shrugs slightly, lifting to hold Siawase. 1"...It does not concern me. Perhaps they are, however, both eventualities seem like a trivial matter."
<Megumi> You have seemed to show concern for her, and I appreciate that, so I should forgive the past in exchange at the very least. I will not easily forgive something like that in the future, however.
<Drasek> Don't think for one moment I care for your forgiveness. *he waves a hand*
<Megumi> I did not ask if you cared.
* Megumi stares blankly. 1"I merely believe in honesty-- It is fair warning."
<Drasek> Then let me be honest with you. You so much as ever attack me again, I will put a hole through your chest. I let it slide, once, but never again. *he stands and moves off for his room*
* Megumi continues staring, then looks down at Siawase. 1"Always with the threats."
* Drasek slams his door shut soon after.
* Megumi moves one of his paws in a waving manner, then goes to check the fridge.
<DeathStar> 6* The fridge looms in the corner of doom
<Ariel> 6* Siawase mews in protest
* Megumi sets Siawase down and checks the perimeter for egg nog.

* Megumi sulks slightly, heading for Erevis' room.

* Megumi peers downward and allows Siawase in before shutting the door, then meanders over and slowly lies down with a few painful twitches, gazing up at her without interupting.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis tilts her gaze downward at Megumi.
* Megumi blinks a few times.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis stares with no blinks.
<Megumi> I am sorry.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I do not understand. Why?

* Megumi squints. 1"Someone always gets hurt when I talk."

* Megumi recoils slightly. "1..."

* Megumi blinks a few more times, albeit confused, nods.
<Megumi> What are you concerned about?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I cannot explain it.
<Megumi> Why is this?

<DeathStar> 6* Darien sits in the lobby, reading a magazine called "Conspiracy Theories"
<Marcus`> *Drasek pops open a beer and takes a swig, eyeing Darien's magazine. "What's the hot conspiracy this month, chief."
<Kit> 6Megumi trudges from Erevis' room to Darien in a linear path. 1"Mister Starr.."
<DeathStar> <Darien> You should keep beer in your own room. Aya might think it's milk.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances up at Megumi. "Yes?"
<Kit> <Megumi> Make more egg nog, please.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Do I look like a manslave?

<Marcus`> <Drasek> Chad keeps beer about. If he hasn't taught her not to drink it, then I can't be held responsible. *he takes another swig, moving to sit down*

<Kit> <Megumi> ...Mister Winters would likely kill me for some obscure reason before I accomplished much.

<Kit> <Megumi> He does not realize her intelligence?
<Kit> 6Megumi turns and stares at Aya.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya looks back.

<Marcus`> <Drasek> Which kinda proves your point. *he motions, then takes another swig*
<Kit> <Megumi> Then I truly do not understand his point. Knowing a language, however universal, of people from off my homeworld, especially when I was stranded on a planet out of contact, hardly describes a lack of intelligence.
<DeathStar> <Darien> You've been on Earth how long, and you still know no Basic?
<Kit> <Megumi> Nor does asking you to make egg nog denote you a lesser caste. It was merely more cost efficent and required less time and effort than finding other means.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'll buy some next week when I go to the store.
<Kit> <Megumi> Thank you, Mister Starr.
<DeathStar> <Darien> But you owe me!
<Marcus`> <Drasek> It was that easy? I need more beer, and some long speech about how it would be better for you to buy it.
<Kit> 6Megumi turns and ambles off, searching for Siawase, likely given her searching points. 1"It seems so."
<DeathStar> <Darien> I mean it! It'll be something dirty, too!
<Kit> <Megumi> I see. If I fail to understand it, I will have Erevis or miss knight explain it to me, then.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien smirks as he goes back to his magazine. "Buy your own beer, Drasil."
<Marcus`> <Drasek> You're a ponce.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> And I git. And a nancy boy for that matter. *he stands and moves off for his room*

<Marcus`> *Drasek pauses and eyes Darien, then glances at Megumi. "Yes. Yes you should."

<Marcus`> <Drasek> Bloody hell that supposed to mean?
<Kit> <Megumi> I can tell by the tones of voice that they are of no importance beyond instigatory means, but I fail to grasp their meanings as far as language.

<DeathStar> 6* Aya begins to mimic him. "Ponce. git. Nancy boy. Bloody hell."
<Kit> <Megumi> I see. Mister Drasek uses a lot of words to say nothing.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> ...I hate you all. Well cept for you Aya. You're cool. *he gives her a thumbs up*

<Kit> <Megumi> This is acceptable. As my rival, I dislike you as well.
<DeathStar> <Darien> You still think of him as a rival?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances up from his magazine.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> And I'm not your bloody rival, so stop calling me that. *he scoffs*
<Kit> <Megumi> Until I can be sure he has no interests in Erevis beyond acceptable minimal social levels, yes.
<DeathStar> <Darien> But does Erevis have any interest in him?
<Kit> <Megumi> Erevis has called him aside privately on several occasions. I dislike this fact.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien laughs outloud.
<Marcus`> * Drasek just stares, at a loss for words.
<Marcus`> *Drasek rubs his chin. "So you think I have a chance with her, luv? Good."
<Kit> 6Megumi's blind visage frowns at Darien's outburst. 1"She rarely calls me aside, if ever, especially these days, except for when I am apparently breaching social formalities or expectations I could not possibly have known. So for her to be private with him, hrmph."
<Marcus`> <Drasek> We have more in common, pet.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I think it's just because you ignore her subtle advances on you.
<Kit> 6Megumi clenches her hands a few times. 1"Lest she says so, your chances with her are beyond the edge of a sword."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien goes back to the magazine, still grinning
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well, the day she invites Drasek to spend the night with her, that's the day you know you've lost.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> Which may very well be, tonight.
<Kit> <Megumi> Then perhaps I need remove him from the picture before this evening falls.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Oh? Why do you think that?
<Marcus`> <Drasek> Can't reveal my secets, mate. *he eyes Megumi*

<Kit> <Megumi> Since you have threatened my life already, then I feel no need to refrain from saying that I will end yours if you do something to compromise her integrity.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> I see. So if I reveal that my Progen visions revealed that she and I had sex, you would be upset about that?
<Kit> 6Megumi fails to find Siawase on this floor, and inclines her head upward toward the second floor, tapping her lip. 1"No."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien blinks. "Whoa, seriously?"
<Marcus`> <Drasek> So i'm allowed to have sex with her?
<Kit> <Megumi> No.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> But you just said I could.
<DeathStar> <Darien> But he just said he had a vision of them doing it.
<Marcus`> *Drasek motions to Darien, nodding.
<Kit> <Megumi> It would require me to believe in such visions' existence and credability.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis leans out of her room. "Drasek. I was wondering if I might speak with you tonight on some matters."
<Marcus`> *Drasek glances up, and nods his head. "Sure thing, Revi."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods her head, going back into her room. Darien stares with his jaw dropped.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> I told you.
<Kit> <Megumi> Told me what?
<Marcus`> <Drasek> That's how the vision, started.
<DeathStar> <Aya> What is sex?
<Marcus`> <Drasek> Something your father will never allow you to have.
<Kit> <Megumi> Sex is sexual, therefore Mister Winters would not like us discussing it around you.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya pouts. "What is sexual? Why can't I have it?"
<Kit> 6Megumi wanders over to Erevis' room and knocks.

<Marcus`> <Drasek> You should go ask your father.
<DeathStar> <Aya> But I'm asking you. 6* She puts on a pouty face.
<Kit> 6Megumi enters and closes the door slowly.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis finishes making her soup, sliding her gloves off after turning off the stove. She smiles slightly at Megumi.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> Sorry, bit. I'm not allowed to talk to you. *he moves back over to his seat*
<DeathStar> 6* Aya begins to look like's about to cry.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> It's because your father things i'm a bad influence. You understand. *he takes a swig of his beer*
<DeathStar> 6* Aya walks off, looking dejected.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Harsh, man. Harsh.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> I'm not going to be having Chad getting mad at me. Else i'd have to slap him around and I don't really feel up to it.
<Kit> 6Megumi smiles in return to Erevis, eyes opened narrowly. 1"Erevis, progenitors possess clairvoyancy?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis pauses momentarily, as unsure to answer. "I do not know."
<Marcus`> *Drasek glances at Darien. "Did the government inplant chips in our heads?"
<Kit> <Megumi> Mister Drasek apparently predicted you would speak to him. He also says you two will condone sex.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Uh, no.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien goes blank, though
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis tilts her head back, as if offended. "That is an impossibility."
<Kit> <Megumi> Mm, I believe so, but he says otherwise.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> You should not worry what he thinks, if you believe otherwise.
<Kit> <Megumi> I believe Erevis-- Erevis does not lie to me.
<Kit> 6Megumi sniffs a few times. 1"What... is that?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It is a vegetable soup. I put every vegetable I could find into it.
<Kit> <Megumi> Which ones did you find?
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis lists just about every vegetable imaginable.
<Kit> <Megumi> That is... a lot of vegetables.
<Marcus`> *Drasek sighs. "Mate, we really need to get your head fixed."
<Kit> <Megumi> How did you fit them all in one soup?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Very carefully. Here, have a bite. 6* She takes a spoonful, blows on it to cool it off, then holds her hand under the spoon to keep it from dripping, holding it out to Megumi.
<DeathStar> <Darien> My head is just fine.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> And the random blank moments are nothing, eh?
<Kit> 6Megumi peers at its colour, then slowly leans up and accepts.
<DeathStar> 6* Some things really shouldn't have every vegetable in them. Erevis eagerly awaits her response.
<DeathStar> <Darien> What blank moments?
<Marcus`> <Drasek> You just go blank when someone mentions something that may refer to something else in your past.
<Kit> <Megumi> It is unique. Have you tried it?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I have not. Did you like it?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Huh. Do I? 6* He begins to blank out
<Marcus`> <Drasek> You're doing it again. *he points*
<DeathStar> <Darien> I was not! 6* He sounds defensive.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> Yes you were.
<Kit> <Megumi> I like certain aspects of it. You should taste it and adjust to preferences.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Clearly I'm not, if I'm talking to you.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis takes a bite.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> You snapped out of it. *he shrugs*
<DeathStar> <Darien> Hmph.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis seems to enjoy it, and makes herself a bowl of the dreaded soup. "Do you wish to have some more?"
<Marcus`> <Drasek> You hmph like a girl, mate.
<DeathStar> <Darien> At least I have a girl.
<Kit> <Megumi> I am actually fairly tired, Erevis. ...Not being able to heal myself is a new occurance, and my wounds are quite taxing.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> That was a sad comeback.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods slowly. "Very well. I will allow you to rest then."
<DeathStar> <Darien> It was the best I had.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis gives Megumi a hug. "Sleep well."
<Marcus`> <Drasek> We make do with what we've got. *he nods*
<DeathStar> <Darien> That sounded like an insult.
<Kit> 6Megumi returns the embrace and then wobbles over to the bed. Beyond bandaging herself, not much was done about the bullet wounds.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> Take it how you will. *he rubs his chin* So what amazing thing do I do to get Erevis in the sack with me?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Kill Megumi off, because as long as they're together, ain't happening.
<Marcus`> <Drasek> Interesting. I'll look into that. *he pulls up his beer to take another swig*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis watches Megumi
<DeathStar> 6* Very creepily.
