* Angela finishes pulling herself out of the shuttle, looking displeased about something or someone as she rests against the side of it.

<Xanatos> * Drasek glances at Erevis as the begin to walk toward the glowing horizon.
* Chad`Winters checks the clip in Ebony as he walks after the others

<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr follows along, quiet.
* Angela groans and grumbles heading after the others.
<DeathStar> 6* The dark clouds overhead flicker with lightning almost constantly. A storm that never ends.
* Drasek` pulls his arms behind his head as he looks upward. "Charming place."
<Angela> "It's not so bad..."
* Megumi puts a palm over her closed eye, frowning slightly. Her ears twitch every time there's thunder, but she moves for the horizon.
* Chad`Winters grunts as he pulls some cloth from one of his belts and presses it against his forehead
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr speaks up. "So, anyone decided what we'll do...when we find Darien?"
* Drasek` snorts slightly, then shrugs. "Punch the bloke in the face, was my line of thought, luv."
<Chad`Winters> Try to reason with him. If that doesn't work, disable him.
<Angela> "Don't know... knock him out? Dismantle whatever it is he'll use?"
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I hope that'll work...
<Drasek`> If it don't luv, then what?
<Angela> "Yeah..."
* Angela can't help but look torn.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I don't know. That's why I asked.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr glances at Megumi again, frowning
<Chad`Winters> He'll force us to in a decision that we'll have to do what he wants or kill him.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ...
* Angela flinches at that.
<Megumi> Then I will kill him.
<Angela> "N-No one's killing him!"
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> .... 6* She looks at Megumi. "Megumi....What the hell is wrong with you?"
<Drasek`> Bloody hell, and they say i'm the evil one.
* Megumi pauses a moment.
<Megumi> What is evil about it? He is in a perverse state due to his depravity over loss. If he is so forlorn to resort to drastic measures as this, my measure is no more drastic, if not merciful.
<Chad`Winters> It's Darien. He'll set this up so we have no choice so he can get what he wants.
<Megumi> At least he can go to Ariel rather than causing us misery.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr grabs Megumi, pulling her to face her. "Megumi. LISTEN to yourself."
<Angela> "He's a little out of his mind, but there has to be a better way then killing him."
* Megumi wobbles as she's turned, glancing emptily at Zephyr with the one eye, dropping her hand and keeping the other closed.
<Chad`Winters> Than you better hope he's feeling generous enough to give us that chance.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr pulls her closer. "This isn't you. You feel all wrong."
<Drasek`> Yeah luv, you can bet I won't kill the bloke. Giving a beat down is another story.
<Megumi> Even Winters seems to agree. I fail to see what is wrong with my decision.
<Angela> "Just don't kill him..."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Because Ariel wouldn't want us killing him. THAT's what's wrong.
<Chad`Winters> I didn't agree with anything. I only stated what he'll do.
<Megumi> It is better we let him wallow in sorrow and cause irrevokable damage instead? She would want that?
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> We help him. That's what we do. We don't just...abandon people because it's easier. Listen to yourself. The way you're talking, Erevis should have let you die on Centerpoint!
* Drasek` tilts his head back and eyes Zephyr, then glances at Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis has stopped, but isn't looking back.
* Megumi grows silent a moment, then shakes her head. 1"It would have saved others some trouble, would it not? Like yourself."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr slaps Megumi hard.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Don't...ever say that again.
* Chad`Winters stops walking when he catches upto Erevis.
* Angela sighs a bit and looks away from everyone.
<Megumi> ..." 6Puts her hand to her cheek, gazing twitch-like toward the ground.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I don't know what's wrong with you, but we help people. Tell me what is wrong with you.
* Drasek` sighs, coming to a stop. "Seems like the bird knocked a few screws loose during the crash."
* Chad`Winters glances at Drasek, then back at Megumi.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr eyes Megumi saying nothing
* Angela keeps moving, looking more upset then she did before.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis closes her eyes and moves forward
* Megumi lifts her head toward Zephyr, not looking particularly angry, but it could be set that the air's boiling about her, an odd sense of something being dammed up across the bond. The other eye opens, the pale colour of violet when the yellow is mixed with blood. 1"...I just see more clearly."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr grabs Megumi's shoulders hard. "No you don't. The Megumi I love doesn't think like that. She helps others, even at the cost of her life. She lets people like that Famfrit live so they find redemption."
* Drasek` groans. "Of all the bloody times to loose your goose." He moves to follow after Erevis.
<Megumi> Wishful thinking, though I am more inclined to think he will merely find a better time to either hunt me again or lose his life in some foolish exploit.
* Ariel has joined #erevis

<Angela> "You're talking like a maniac Megumi, stop it."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis stops again, sighing. She turns to face Megumi. "No one's sins are so much that they should die, Megumi Zhenmei. You are angry. You are giving into that side of you that is hardened. But if you think in such absolute terms, then I should die as well." 6* She pounds her fist into her chest. "I have done evil. I have done things in despair. Do I deserve to die?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr drops her hands, glancing down.
* Megumi shifts toward Erevis, barely hesitating. 1"That is something I have been trying to discern from your own actions. If you are telling me to decide that from experience, you chose once, already to do so."
* Megumi gestures with her hands. 1"Perhaps the other side of me does not find that the correct answer, but it seems to be the irrational side that no one trusts when something important comes to pass, correct?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis approaches Megumi. "I love you, Megumi Zhenmei. I love the part of you that is caring and kind, that has hope for better things. That has hope in me. You tell me to put my faith in you, I have done so. I am came here, because I believe in you."
* Chad`Winters looks between Megumi and Erevis now. 1"Split personality."
* Drasek` rubs his face. "The whole lot of you are off your rockers."
* Megumi leans back slightly, scowling, then shakes her head and sighs at Erevis, stepping around her to continue. 1"We will see."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis grabs Megumi. "No, we will not."
<Angela> "I love how people seem to be deciding who gets to live and die, when that's what we're trying to stop Darien from doing."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis pulls Megumi back to face her. "You will not continue onward to Darien Starr like this. Look at Zephyr. Look at her." 6* She psionically tries to twist her head to face Zephyr, who is upset. "She cares about you. I care about you. We care because of who you are. Are you telling me that all you believe is a lie? That you are so weak to give into this feeling?"
* Drasek` crosses his arms, watching the scene.
* Megumi stares toward Zephyr, that seeming to lift more of the tension out of her inner feelings moreso than Erevis. She's silent again, then closes both eyes, grinding her teeth a bit. 1"Weak I have always been. However, I may be too stubborn, as well, to restore my faith lost with a single leap of faith out of you."
* Chad`Winters glances at Drasek. 1"Think this is how we come off sometimes?"
<Megumi> If it is as Winters says, and he leaves us little to no options, are you saying I should cast aside my better judgement and spare him because that is what Ariel would want? To doom everyone else?
<Drasek`> Think they've come to expect it from us, mate.
<Megumi> Not even one among us should have the resolve to deal with that situation?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> So you have no faith in me. 6* She lets Megumi go. "You have no faith in me. I see." 6* She looks especially hurt now. "I see how it is, Megumi Zhenmei." 6* She turns away from Megumi, so she can't see her expression. "I see how it is very clearly."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Then I will deal with Darien Starr personally. 6* She walks ahead.
* Chad`Winters shrugs and looks back over at Megumi. 1"Than we stop him each time he tries something, it's as simple as that."
<Angela> "I think no one knows for damn sure what we'll find, and acting like we even have the right to decide is just ludicrous."
<Megumi> Right to decide... Haa...
<Angela> "Meg, didn't you once tell me you respected Wind?"
* Chad`Winters turns, moving after Erevis now, lowering his hand the cloth bloodied.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> .... ...I can't go with you guys. 6* She says finally.
* Megumi raises a hand to the storming sky and then drops it, palm to the ground, emanating a force down atop Erevis to outright pin her to the ground as she runs ahead. That dam inside breaking horribly. 1"Of course I did. Unlike me, once in his life he actually had that right to decide!"
* Chad`Winters stops and looks over at Zephyr. 1"You sure?"
* Angela shakes her head. "Darien's goals are no different then Wind's were... in fact they're the same thing."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis begins to use her hyperspace, burning herself up, to rise slowly.
* Drasek` arches a brow. "Luv?"
* Angela looks at Zephyr. "Zeph... we're gonna need your cool head on this one..."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr watches Megumi and Erevis, then turns and walks back the way they came. "Sorry. But I can't follow you guys anymore."
* Chad`Winters slides his hand along his belt. 1"Zephyr."
<Angela> "Zeph..."
* Drasek` watches Zephyr walk away, then glances at Megumi and Erevis, he widens his eyes. He jerks in and attempt to punch Megumi, to get her to stop holding Erevis down.
* Megumi ducks under Drasek and skids along the ground, turning to huff at Erevis as she does, reaching to push a palm to her shoulder and give her a shove onto her back, lifting the force from above. 1"I knew it."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr just keeps walking.
* Angela runs after her.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis rises again. She seems close to crying, her body shaking as she looks at Megumi
<Drasek`> Sodding wench. *he attempts to shove his knee up for Megumi's face*
<Angela> "Zephyr..."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Go to Darien, Angela.
* Megumi snaps her head backwards. 1"...You will even resort to that around me."
<Angela> "Zeph, come with us."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> NO.
<Angela> "why not?"
<Chad`Winters> Let her be Angela. It's her decision.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I can't take it anymore. I just can't. So leave me alone. 6* She yells at Angela.
<Drasek`> Leave Revi alone and stop acting like a moron.
* Angela looks at her worriedly and takes a step back from the yelling.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... ... Do not lay a hand on me again. Ever.
<DeathStar> 6* She says to Megumi
* Megumi straightens out and drops her face, rubbing the other side from a knee strike now, calm again. 1"Fine."
<Angela> "I... Everything you..." *she shakes her head and turns away, walking, if even on her own, towards the glow now*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... 6* She looks to the side. "I do not know who you are anymore."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis walks ahead.
<Chad`Winters> Zephyr, watch yourself. 6He calls out to her.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr just lifts her hand slightly in response as she moves off
* Megumi glances toward Chad and the group that was heading for the light, then to Zephyr. She promptly choose a point in between and heads away.
* Drasek` steps back and frowns. "Sorry to hurt you luv. But you need to figure out what exactly you're doing to your relationships." He turns and walks after Erevis.
* Angela walks ahead, moving as though, well she is moving by a mission alright, she keeps her face out of view of the others as she moves on.
* Chad`Winters turns and moves after Drasek and Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis walks ahead, moving and wiping at her face and eyes.
* Megumi mumbles as she gets further away. 1"What Starr wants."
* Drasek` glances at Erevis. "You alright, Revi?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... ... No
<Drasek`> They say a hug can make you feel better.
* Angela wipes her eyes and stays out of earshot, as though Zephyr threw her in the direction she moves now.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... ... 6* She seems to break down at that and falls to her knees, clutching the ground. "I hate all of this. I hate it all. I want to be back in my time. I want everything to be right again. I want Megumi Zhenmei not to hold me in contempt, and I want Ariel alive again. I want things to be they way there were. I cannot take this...
* Chad`Winters stops, frowning.
* Drasek` kneels down and places a hand on Erevis' back. "You saw what would happen, luv. If you changed what is to be. But if you decide you want to change the future. I will help you."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis shakes her head. "No. Darien Starr must be stopped. I just... ... I had decided to follow her, and now she ... she seems... 6* She takes a deep breath, perhaps so she won't cry.
<Chad`Winters> It was the crack to the head that changed Megumi, Erevis. Nothing that you have or could have prevented.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> That is not true. She is Megumi Zhenmei.
* Angela hasn't stopped moving, it's like she doesn't remember she was with a group at all.
<Chad`Winters> How was she before the crash?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Just because one gives into their darker nature, does not mean they are not who they are. Darien Starr is himself, despite his sorrow controlling him
<Chad`Winters> That's not what I asked you.
<Drasek`> Mate's saying that it isn't the real Megumi that you know.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances up at the sky. "I understood your question." 6* She states simply, then rises. "We must go on. I can cry later."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis walks ahead.
* Angela is nearly out of sight already.
* Chad`Winters starts moving again.
<DeathStar> 6* Sadly, Angela is still in sight. She's not that fast, and the horizon isn't THAT far.
* Angela pouts, but she's ahead.
* Drasek` rises and moves after her. "I think it's about time you lead, luv. What do you say?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... I have nothing left to say. 6* She says, her tone absolutely miserible as she walks onward
* Drasek` frowns. "Then I'll do my best to make things better for you."
<DeathStar> 6* As they move ahead, with Angela first, they begin to see pieces of crystal all around the ground up ahead.
<Chad`Winters> It's a miracle the Tsiv haven't found this place.
<Drasek`> The universe is a big place, mate.
<Angela> "Darien..."
<Chad`Winters> It'd fit the cliche so well.
<Drasek`> I won't play that game with you, sorry. But if they are here, we'll just have to elimate them."
* Angela presses on without any foreshadowing.
<DeathStar> 6* As the group converges in the crystal area, up ahead is a man in a suit, standing around larger pieces of crystal. As the man turns, glancing at through with sunglasses, Erevis jerks. It seems Wind is here.
* Angela blinks and stares a moment. Looking at him in confusion. "W-Wind?"
* Chad`Winters pulls out his mod. gun and aims it towards the man.
* Drasek` tilts his head, glancing from Angela, Erevis, then to 'Wind'. "Fancy that. Wind the mighty Progenitor is really alive?"
<DeathStar> 6* The aura feels very Windish, including the intent coming from the man. "No." 6* Darien removes his glasses, peering at them with normal eyes. "So the EMP didn't strand you very long."
<Chad`Winters> We lost two days.
* Drasek` sighs. "Well I feel let down, mate."
<Angela> "Just like him... Darien..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Two days? No. You didn't.
<Drasek`> 45 minutes actually, mate.
<Chad`Winters> The emp sent us back into the alternate reality we jumped through.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien raises his brow. "Oh?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well, I admit I put it up hastily. I didn't have much warning you were coming.
<Chad`Winters> And I should've picked a better jump point.
* Angela frowns a bit.
<Drasek`> That's alright, mate. Now we're here. We can all hug and make up, right?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien raises his eyebrow
* Angela looks at him, as if still confused at how it can really be him.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... Darien Starr. What is your intentions?
<Angela> "This is like... a bad joke..."
<Chad`Winters> Don't tell me you playing demi-god.
* Drasek` tilts his head. "Say mate, you plan on changing reality right?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien slides the sunglasses back on. "I suppose this is the part I tell you all what I'm doing here."
<Angela> "It's history all over again... fine... monolouge..."
<Drasek`> It'd be mighty nice of you, mate.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Forget it
<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns his back to them
<Drasek`> Actually mate. I want to know. Bugger the rest of them.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'm not telling you all why I'm here.
* Chad`Winters enjoys this non-cliche moment.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves through the crystal graveyard
* Angela slowly moves after him.
* Chad`Winters moves after, his gun trained on him.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis narrows her eyes, stepping after Darien
* Drasek` snorts, putting a hand to his face. "Well this is sure to be a blast." He glances at Erevis, then walks after Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien runs his hand along the crystals as he passes them
* Angela looks at the crystals as she passes, she traces the pattern one of his hands make over it, as though in a trance.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis finally pulls out her emerald sphere, forming a sword out of it
<DeathStar> <Erevis> You may not speak, but your mind is clear to me.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stops, glancing back at Erevis.
* Chad`Winters stops, shifting around a crystal to get a better shot lined up
* Drasek` arches a brow and glances at Erevis, then Darien. "Well I really don't like being left out of the bloody loop."
* Angela blinks and looks at Darien, then Erevis, she seems dazed.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Tch. 6* He reaches into his suit, pulling out a whole Rune Blade.
<Chad`Winters> So you did manage to find a way to reform it.
<Angela> "Y-You restored it..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> No. I didn't.
<Angela> "But... how?"
* Chad`Winters raises an eyebrow
<DeathStar> <Darien> I came here to get this.
<Angela> "...Oh..."
<Angela> "It wasn't destroyed then?"
* Drasek` tilts his head. "So that's the original then?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> No. It wasn't. The sword that Erevis goes back in time with is most likely this one.
<Drasek`> Fancy that.
<Chad`Winters> And you plan on getting rid of the sword?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yes.
<Angela> "But... it could kill Legion... timeline shift or not..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Once the timeline is radically altered, it won't matter.
<Drasek`> Coming from the place we went too. I much prefer this timeline, mate.
<Chad`Winters> We saw what happened when Erevis didn't go back. It wasn't a pretty place.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I don't care. I want Ariel back.
<Angela> "What if we're wrong? What if when it does, it just makes another reality? What if we're stuck here?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances at Angela, then at Erevis. "I'm not stopping. Not until I do that."
<Chad`Winters> How do you know you'll get her back? And what if you lose something else in the process?
* Angela blinks a bit. "I-I see..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'll take that chance.
<Drasek`> You die, mate. You die, she dies. Everyone dies.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ...
* Angela looks down. "You're... becoming Wind."
<Drasek`> You don't get her, no one gets anything.
<DeathStar> <Darien> You knew what I was doing out here, Angela. And yet YOU sent me that message.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes her.
* Drasek` arches a brow to glance at Angela.
<Chad`Winters> So you'd be fine if Angela died instead or Zephyr wasn't around and Ariel was in your place...6She glances at Angela, not really suprised.
<Drasek`> Fancy he knew we were coming. Not like he knew we could get a light engine. *he groans*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis frowns more. She seems to shiver when Darien draws his eyes upon her.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Ask her. I'm not backing down. One way or another, I'm ending things today.
<Angela> "I didn't even send him information."
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue. 1"It doesn't have to end this way."
<DeathStar> <Darien> It really does.
<Drasek`> Well mate, this was fun. *he salutes* Been a blast, really.
<Angela> "He's... really becoming Wind."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Face it, Chad. You'd do anything to make sure things didn't change, including removing free will, right? And I'm willing to do anything to get mine. Including killing.
* Chad`Winters just nods in response.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Very well. 6* She rushes at Darien now
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I will beat sense into you
* Drasek` lets out a whistle and then dashes after Erevis.
* Angela stands there numbly. Watching.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien swings the sword, unleashing a wave of water at the two
* Chad`Winters fires a stun shot after Darien unleashes the wave
<DeathStar> 6* The ground rises up in front of the shot
* Drasek` lets out another whistle, kneeling down and kicking off, attempting to twist his body so he can soar over the shot.
<Drasek`> NRTP: Wave*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis swings her sword into the wave as best she can
<DeathStar> 6* Darien swings his sword again, sending a gust of deadly wind at Drasek
* Angela slowly draws her PAX blade, watching still. Tears running down her cheeks.
* Chad`Winters dashes around Darien, moving to come upto his side.
* Drasek` twists and and eyes the wind, frowning. "Well that's depressing." He stinks his his hand forward to fire a beam of hyperspace from his finger to disrupt the wind.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lifts the sword, unleashing lightning down toward Chad
<Drasek`> NRP: stick*
<DeathStar> 6* The wind is vaped, as is the ground
* Chad`Winters kicks off, twisting to try and avoid it
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rushes forward past Drasek, swining at Erevis. The two lock blades.
* Angela tenses herself, ready to do something, but she just keeps on watching.
<DeathStar> 6* The lightning hits nothing
* Drasek` lands on the ground with a roll, twisting to eye the two, he tosses a knife for the right calf of Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien raises the ground again to block the knife, pushing Erevis back quickly. He pulls back, slashing her across the shoulder, then twists, slashing her across the leg.
* Chad`Winters stands up and turns, firing two stun shots for Darien's back.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien expands the ground shield
* Drasek` dashes forward and jumps, attempting to get himself high enough to press off of the ground shield and soar over it towards Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shifts to the side, as Erevis slashes and they lock blades. He uses the dash to put distance from Drasek
* Chad`Winters flicks his left wrist, slipping a blade into it and he steps forward, hurling it above Darien and then snaps his gun up, timing it and firing a shot to ricochet off it and down towards Darein
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sneers, forming a wind to knock the attacks back
* Chad`Winters quickly unholsters Ebony and fires it at the blade and his other gun at the incoming shot.
* Drasek` lands and rolls then leaps forward again, probably attempting to tackle him.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis pants, bleeding quite a bit. She slashes downward at Darien, who expertly blocks by adjusting his wrist. As Drasek leaps forward, the ground forms spikes in a diagonal slant, so he'll tackle into it if not careful
<Chad`Winters> If you plan on succeeding Darien, you're going to have to kill me.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien spins in a circular motion, the rune blade catching on fire. He slashes at Erevis again
* Chad`Winters fires both guns to hit the incoming slash
* Drasek` widens his eyes. "Well that's cheating." he pulls his hands forward in an attempt to grasp the tip of one of the spikes and use it as a base to flip himself over the rest.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sneers a bit, and Erevis takes her moment, cutting him across the artm
* Chad`Winters fires a shot from Ebony aimed at the ground infront of Darien and fires his other gun to the at Darien's back side
<DeathStar> 6* He leaps back as Drasek gets closer, parrying the shot
* Drasek` lands and throws out 2 more knives for Darien, probably trying to get Darien away from Erevis.
* Chad`Winters starts moving in towards Darien now.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien parries them at Erevis, to be a bitch
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis shifts to the side
* Drasek` makes a face. "Nasty mate. Just Nasty." He lifts his finger and fires a hyperspace beam for Darien's left thigh.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien uses a dark glowing shield to absorb it

* Angela flinches a little she shudders and cries a little as she watches the fight. She didn't want it to come to this.
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue and starts to charge up a stunned shot.
* Drasek` lets out another whistle. "Well mate. That sword is just all sorts of fancy."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis dashes in, swinging into the dark shield with her staff, then unleashes hyperspace into it. She reaches through with her other hand, despite the aura ripping flesh away
* Drasek` widens his eyes at the extremes Erevis is going too and tisks, glancing down at his hand.
* Chad`Winters leaps ontop of a crystal and aims down at the shield, waiting
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis grasps the sword, and unleashes hyperspace into it directly. There's a surge of energy that's blinding
* Drasek` makes a sound and holds up his arm to shield his eye.
* Angela sheilds her eyes a moment.
* Chad`Winters instinctively covers his eyes with his arm
<DeathStar> 6* The aura dies down, and Erevis' right arm is hanging limpy, flesh messing, bone showing. She winces, falling to her knees. Darien is laying on his back, smoke rising from him. <Erevis> You must stop. For...everyone's sake...
* Chad`Winters lowers his arm and keeps his gun trained on him now.
* Drasek` steps forward, his eyes searching about for the Rune Blade.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rises, shifting, the Rune Blade still in his hand. He shoves it into Erevis' gut. "Never."
* Chad`Winters fires the charged shot as Darien starts to strike forward
<DeathStar> 6* The charged shot is stopped this time, probably by some shield
* Drasek` widens his eyes. "You git." He tenses then leaps forward, throwing out his fist for Darien.
* Chad`Winters leaps off the crystal piece and onto the ground, he dashes for Erevis now
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis just wraps her arms around Darien, pulling him into a hug, with the sword between them. Darien is stuck in the face.
* Angela shifts and rushes forward.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Please...do not hit him, Drasek. He is hurting. I know how he feels.
* Drasek` arches a brow, glancing between them. "R-revi?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> He wants things as they were - he wants to be happy again. To be at peace. Not to feel pain anymore. He wants his loved one back with him. He wants everything to be as they were. But they cannot. You must..let it go, Darien Starr. For Ariel. For yourself.
* Chad`Winters slides up to Erevis and grabs onto the blade end that's through her, holding it tightly in place.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes her, as they're both getting soaked in blood.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It is alright, to cry. If you must.
* Drasek` shakes his head, frowning. "Luv, you're killing yourself. Stop it."
* Angela looks at them both, she shivers. "Ere..."
* Chad`Winters then slides his hand along the the exposed blade to try and pull out what runes he can.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shakes a bit, not noticing Chad getting the Wind and Fire runes.
* Megumi approaches in a breakneck sprint, sliding a bit away from Darien and Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis leans her head against Darien's shoulder. "Release your pain." 6* Darien lets go of the handle finally, and Erevis unwraps her arms
* Megumi stands rigidly, either from the scene, her numerous bleeeding claw and bite marks, or both.
* Drasek` jerks forward to catch Erevis.
* Chad`Winters slides the runes in his tact belt and grabs Erevis, holding her
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps back, his black suit stained in blood now. His sunglasses fall off his face as he eyes her like she's mad.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis just smiles, coughing up some blood. "I think I need...medical attention...now.."
* Angela nods.
* Drasek` glances at Chad catching her, and then looks down at her sword in her. "Bloody hell. Bloody hell."
<Chad`Winters> This is going to hurt Erevis, but I'm gonna pull the blade out. Ok?
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods once. Zephyr steps up, her eyes widening
* Angela pulls up her sleeves. Putting her hands to Erevis shoulder.
<Drasek`> You do that and she'll likely bleed out.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien puts a hand to his face, stepping away.
<Angela> "I'll heal her."
* Chad`Winters grabs the hilt and then yanks it out in one quick motion.
<Megumi> No you won't.
* Angela blinks up at Meg.
<Angela> "But she'll die..."
* Megumi leaps forward in a single bound and grabs at Erevis. 1"...No she won't."
* Drasek` widens his eyes at Angela, then Chad. "SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING."
* Angela gets pushed away from the grab.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis eyes Megumi, that pain still there.
<Angela> "M-Meg!"
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Megumi!!
* Angela gets up. "Let me heal her!"
* Megumi closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, then focuses on healing her, regardless of the countercost.
* Chad`Winters eyes Megumi dangerously
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leans back against a crystal. "Megumi....stop. Use the sword."
<DeathStar> <Darien> The Light Rune...heals...
* Chad`Winters looks at Darien and nods, putting his hand on her and closing his eye to try and activate the light rune
<Drasek`> Chad. Do it. *he moves over to Pull Megumi back* Don't kill yourself, luv.
* Megumi starts bleeding out of wounds before opening her eyes and gazing at Darien, then Drasek.
* Angela gently, but firmly attemtps to tear Meg away to stop her form killing herself.
<DeathStar> 6* The sword glows and begins to do it's magic, but it's clearly almost out of energy for now
<Megumi> ...Why do you say that? Do you not just want me to disappear after what I've said? I won't blame anyone.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr runs over, grabbing Megumi into a hug, crying. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
* Megumi looks up at Angela, confused.
<Angela> "Let the sword heal her..."
<Angela> "Don't hurt yourself."
* Drasek` snorts. "No one wants to you die, luv."
* Drasek` glances up at Chad. "It workin?"
* Chad`Winters continues using the blade. 1"Eye's are kinda closed here."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis' gut wound is sealed, and then her back. The sword dies out of energy finally
* Drasek` peers down. "Must be, then."
* Angela pulls out her medical supplies and gives Ervis secondary treatment with nanities, just in case.
<Megumi> Is she well, now?
* Chad`Winters opens his eyes and looks at Erevis. 1"How you feeling?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis keeps her eyes closed, opening them slightly. She smiles weakly. "No one had to die today. No one should die today."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns to face a crystal, eyeing his own reflection
<Megumi> Heheh.
* Angela looks over at Darien, worry on her face.
* Megumi rises to her feet shakily, then throws an arm around Zephyr. 1"Hey, Darien."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances at Megumi slowly, his face that of a man who seems lost.
<Chad`Winters> I'll take that as a yes than. 6He holds her. 1"Can you stand?"
<Megumi> Hindsight's twenty-twenty, you bastard. Why don't you take a good look at what Ariel left you and try to take care of it, would you?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I fear not.
* Angela puts her supplies away and moves over to Darien, she wordlessly starts to work on his wounds.
* Drasek` smiles at Erevis. "Don't worry luv. I'll carry you if you need it."
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... I didn't see you here today, to protect your Beloved.
<Megumi> I'm pretty imperfect, you know. She protects me, most of the time.
* Angela looks up at Darien, but doesn't say anything.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shakes his head, glancing at Angela once.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> ...
* Angela looks down again after meeting his eyes and goes back to wrapping up his wounds.
* Megumi brings up the emerald weapon she carries with her other hand. 1"I hope to change that though."
<DeathStar> 6* He sits down finally, closing his eyes. "My shuttle is northeast of here." 6* He says finally.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods to Drasek, looking at Megumi silently.
<Angela> "Then... let's go home."
<Megumi> Horrible timing, I admit. But I found a use for this. I used it to manifest a different kind of weapon.
<DeathStar> <Darien> You all go. I---think I'll stay here.
* Angela sits down.
<Chad`Winters> Exile doesn't suit you.
<Angela> "I'm not leaving without you."
<Drasek`> Exile stinks mate, take it from me.
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... 6* He looks at Erevis, then up at the dark sky. "I can't change the timeline. And I can't live without her. I'm tired. So tired."
* Megumi tosses the emerald weapon at Darien.
<Chad`Winters> Than find another reason to live for.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lets it bounce off of him. "I can't."

* Angela seems to make herself comforterable.

* Chad`Winters watches the two.
* Drasek` rubs his hands together, then crosses his arms.

* Megumi looks especially depressed, turning to leave.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis manages to stand, despite her pain.
<Angela> "If I left right now it'd be for your sake... I already chose my path and I'm not going to leave it."
* Chad`Winters taps his gun against his arm, debating wether to just shoot him and drag him back to Earth

* Drasek` steps forward now and holds out a hand for Darien. "Mate."

* Chad`Winters stands there, looking at Darien. 1"I could just shoot you and bring you back."
* Megumi returns to the shuttle, entering and heading to the controls, resorting to messing with the wrecked system and wiring if she has to get power back up, wanting to scan northwest of their position.

* Angela sits there, looking between them.
<DeathStar> 6* Megumi is unable to power it back up
<Chad`Winters> Give me one good reason why I shouldn't.

* Drasek` glances at Erevis. "I know you don't like to ask, luv. But if the journey gets to hard. I can help."

<Megumi> <You're still with me. I'm scared.>
<Chad`Winters> I was planning on putting him in a coma until after Erevis went to the past, personally. 6He pulls out the two ruins from his belt and he unhooks the belt.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> <....Why?>
<Angela> "What difference would it make?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods to Drasek, and the two arrive at Darien's shuttle, with Zephyr in tow.
<Chad`Winters> He'd still be Earth where he could survive atleast. 6He tosses the belt over towards Darien.
<Megumi> <I saw the runes. Their presence always seems to bode a reckoning of fate-- ...I have a bad feeling about all of this. Especially with Darien's actions.>
<DeathStar> 6* Darien catches it
<Angela> "We'll have to make due."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> <....We're at Darien's shuttle. Get back here.>
* Drasek` moves to open up the shuttle, if it isn't already and then walks up the ramp.
<Megumi> <I was hoping to locate it with ours-- as well as anything else in the region, but I can't restore power. I will be there quickly.>
<Chad`Winters> Stay alive. 6He slides the runes back into the Rune Blade and turns to head towards Darien's shuttle.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis manages to climb up and it collapses in the seat.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien watches him go, then closes his eyes, practically ignoring Angela
* Angela looks at Darien now.
<Angela> "I'm... I can't go Darien."
* Megumi exits their own shuttle and runs at a pace-- pausing occasionally to pant-- to get to the other shuttle.
* Angela sits back.
<DeathStar> <Darien> ...
* Drasek` plops down in a seat and sighs. "Some victory this is."
<Angela> "You should know that by now."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis closes her eyes now, and begins to let tears run down her face, exhausted
<DeathStar> <Darien> Angela. I've asked one thing from you. To let me be alone. You can't do that. Don't expect me to thank you for it. Or to talk to you. You're staying here for you.
* Angela sighs and stands up.
<Angela> "You really want me to go?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yes.
* Angela starts to cry.

* Megumi arrives at the other shuttle, gazing about tiredly.

<DeathStar> 6* Darien's eyes begin to widen suddenly.

* Angela chokes and blinks a bit in shock, looking down.

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis jerks her head up, feeling a powerful surge of power. Dark energy.
<DeathStar> 6* Legion lifts his hand up with Angela still on it.
<DeathStar> <Darien> A-Angela?! 6* He spits out.
* Drasek` eyes Erevis. "Revi?"
* Angela still stares in shock as she looks down at Legion's fist.
<Angela> "D-Darien..."
<DeathStar> 6* Legion grabs her head with his free hand, tossing her to the side
* Chad`Winters suddenly stops moving, his eyes starting back to where Darien and Angela are. 1"This is bad."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr looks back at the horizon. "That...feeling."
* Drasek` tilts his head. "Bloody hell is everyone talking about." He pauses and then shifts, frowning.
* Angela goes rolling and stubling to the ground, frantically fighting to live, she starts to heal herself despite the danger.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leaps to his feet, but Legion sends his fist into his face, sending her back.

<DeathStar> 6* Angela's body slowly begins to mend, but Legion is already stomping onto Darien's back
* Drasek` stands up himself and breaks off after Zephyr.
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue as he grips onto the Rune Blade tightly.
* Megumi reaches out with her right hand to take it, lingering a moment, smiling at her. 1"...I will return."
<Angela> "L-Let... let him go..."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... 6* Erevis doesn't smile back, but does nod.
* Megumi forms the emerald weapon in her hand into a dagger made of emerald feathers, then repeats with her left and the other emerald weapon, then turns to run back down the ramp after Zephyr.
<DeathStar> 6* Legion presses down in response.
<Angela> "X-Xanatos..."
<DeathStar> 6* Angela could divert her energy from healing to attacking, if she choses.
* Chad`Winters sighs and moves back to Angela and Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien howls in pain as he's pressed down on
* Angela pulls out her gun and fires at him.
<DeathStar> 6* The gun does nothing. Legion presses down again, a cracking sound beginning to be heard
* Angela drops her gun and fires hyperspace at him.
<Megumi> Zephyr! We're coming.
<DeathStar> 6* Legion is hit, grunting, but remains upright.
* Angela returns to healing, struggling to get up. "Get... the fuck off him..."
<DeathStar> 6* Legion shifts his foot to Darien's head.

* Angela holds out her hand again and fires another hyperspace beam at him.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr pants as she runs, almost there.
<DeathStar> 6* Legion is hit again. But it seems she'll have to pour all her energy into it to stop him.
* Angela closes her eyes and does so without a second thought.
* Chad`Winters comes upto the outskirts of the three and unholsters his modified gun.
<DeathStar> 6* Legion is blasted backwards, into a crystal, his chest smoking
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr hears the sound of a blast.
* Drasek` runs along beside Zephyr, his hands clenched tight. He face darkens at the sound.
* Angela drops down, unable to do anything more.

<DeathStar> 6* Legion strains to stand now, clearly in agonizing pain

* Chad`Winters flips the gun to overcharge and takes several steps forward, hurling it towards Legion.
<DeathStar> 6* Legion aims at Angela, but is hit by an exploding gun.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien strains to sit up, crawling to Angela, as she begins to die.
* Angela starts to breath slower, eyes starting to cloud.

* Megumi leans down and takes a deep breath, focusing, then sprints much quicker, dragging her hands behind her clutching the daggers.
* Angela weakly smiles at him. Unable to speak.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grabs her, lifting her up a bit. "Angela!"
<DeathStar> 6* Legion roars in anger and pain, his chest still smoking
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue as he reaches for his belt then pauses. He begins backing up.
* Angela looks up in her clouding haze at him, a tear falling down her cheek.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien closes his eyes, about to cry himself. "God....why...?"
<DeathStar> 6* Legion recovers finally, though he seems weakened
* Megumi springs and spins with both daggers for Legion's backside depending on the layout. <Quickly, the other two. This won't work for long.>

* Angela starts to close her eyes.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rears his head back. "WHY?"!
* Chad`Winters eyes Megumi appearing and starts moving in again, quickly unholstering Ebony and taking aim.
<DeathStar> 6* Legion blocks Megumi with his arm.
<Angela> "Love.... you..."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grasps Angela in his arms, just holding her as she finally dies.
* Megumi tears into him with both wing-like daggers, not relenting in quick, probably less than fatal-style, strikes that never end in succession.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr fires at Legion while he's distracted
* Chad`Winters fires Ebony after Zephyr, bringing the shot down onto his head
* Drasek` eyes the scene, arching a brow, he looks up at Legion, eyes narrowed.
* Megumi leaps backwards, flipping to avoid being shot.

* Megumi dashes in directly after the shots to continue combo-slashing.
* Chad`Winters quickly reholsters Ebony and moves in, bringing the Rune blade up.

<DeathStar> 6* The crystals begin to glow around them. Zephyr pants, falling to her knees, eyeing them.
* Megumi drops as Legion retreats, heaving. She hoarsely calls. 1"Dra... sek! ...Winters...!"

<Chad`Winters> ...The crystals are responding to something. We need to leave now.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien holds Angela, his head knelt down.
<Chad`Winters> Drasek get Angela's body, the least we can do is give her a proper burial.

* Drasek` arches a brow at Chad and then turns to walk over towards Darien and her.
<DeathStar> 6* The crystals begin to surge now with energy. It feels like a familiar energy signature
* Megumi punches the ground as Legion disappears, then peers toward Darien quickly.
* Chad`Winters quickly moves over to Darien now. 1"Exile or not, you need to leave. Because he'll come back to kill you."

* Drasek` kneels, although he glances around at the energy. "Bloody hell is going on?"
<DeathStar> 6* Crystals begin to shatter one by one, as if Centerpoint is breaking apart
<Megumi> Does it... does it stretch back that far!?
* Chad`Winters shifts his face as a crystal explodes.
<DeathStar> 6* A series of crystals explode around Darien and Angela, covering them in a surge of energy
* Chad`Winters slides to a stop, covering his face.
* Drasek` jerks, falling back.
* Megumi gets up and moves toward the two, pushing the daggers in front of her as a semi-guard
<DeathStar> 6* When the energy dies down, Darien is kneeling there alone, covered in Angela and Erevis' blood.
<DeathStar> 6* All the crystals are broken now
* Drasek` arches a brow, sitting up. "Bloody hell did she go?"
* Chad`Winters lowers his hand. 1"What the hell happened?"
* Megumi takes a step back in retreat, eyes widened. 1"I refuse...!"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien opens his eyes; they're both watery. "She's...gone...."
* Drasek` frowns. "How, exactly?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr stares. "Angela...."
* Chad`Winters glances around, his eyes searching for something. 1"I have no idea."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stands up, dropping his arms. "I...All of this is my fault. If only..."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr puts a hand to her face. As if in disbelief that Angela is dead. And her body destroyed.
* Drasek` groans and stands upright. "Listen mate. Legion did this. You can't go and blame yourself for something he did."
<Chad`Winters> Matter doesn't just disappear...There's nothing left behind.
<Megumi> ...D-Darien what... what have... what are... ...
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... 6* He wipes his face, smearing blood on it. ".... ... we should go. Before Legion comes back."
* Chad`Winters grunts and glances around, moving towards Zephyr.
* Drasek` arches a brow. "Right then." he rubs his neck and frowns slightly, turning to walk back the way he came.

<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks up, mouthing something to the sky, then moves on, limping
<Chad`Winters> I don't know, Zephyr. 6He glances back at where she was.

* Megumi trots over and drops to her knees where the two were, glancing to where crystals were and then dropping the two daggers, putting her palms to the earth
<DeathStar> 6* The storm begins to vanish slowly, and a blue sky is visible, as the last of Centerpoint's energy fades away. The earth is quiet, with no tales
* Chad`Winters glances back down at Zephyr. 1"She could be."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> But do you think she is?
<Chad`Winters> Yes. 6He states simply, a focused look on his face.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr nods, standing up now, wiping the tears away, leaning on Chad for support.
<DeathStar> 6* Drasek arrives at the shuttle. Erevis looks at him
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Is everyone well?
* Megumi rises, thaking both daggers and dulling their edges, sifting them into her hair above either ear, turning to move back to the shuttle.
<Chad`Winters> Let's get back to the shuttle before Legion recovers. 6He puts an arm around and leads her back to Darien's shuttle.
* Drasek` frowns and sits down. "No luv. Angela is dead."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis blinks in surprise
* Drasek` rubs his face slowly. "She sacrificed herself to save Darien."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> .... .... She loved him very much. 6* She states.
<Megumi> Not completely unrequitted." 6She finishes climbing the ramp.
<Drasek`> Must have. *he notes.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods once.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien enters the shuttle, taking his pilot seat
* Chad`Winters makes his way up the ramp with Zephyr
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks out one time, then closes the ramp, powering the shuttle up
* Megumi drops to her knees and puts her hands to the floor, gasping.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis pauses, then helps MEgumi up into her seat, silent.
* Drasek` lets out a breath, looking up at the ceiling.
* Megumi gazes up at Erevis with her two-toned eyes looking weary, the murmurs something quietly, trying to lean toward her.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr sits down, closing her eyes
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis doesn't stop her
<DeathStar> 6* Darien powers up the shuttle, aiming it at the sky, flying up through the remnants of the storm clouds that are fading, in a Serenity like zen
* Drasek` glances around at everyone, then crosses his arms. "That light engine of yours working?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yes.
* Chad`Winters sits down in one of the seats and crosses his arms, closing his eyes
<Drasek`> Good. I hate long shuttle flights.
<DeathStar> -TIME JUMP-
<DeathStar> Location: Earth
<DeathStar> 6* Alexander stands there as they land. His expression is troubled.
<DeathStar> 6* He shifts his eyes toward Chad. Eve watches impassively.
<DeathStar> <Alexander> What happened?
* Drasek` stands there with his arms crossed.
* Chad`Winters eyes Alexander, studying him. 1"Angela passed away."
<DeathStar> 6* Alexander's expression shifts, to one of disbelief, then anger, then disgruntled. "I see."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis steps down the ramp weakly.
<Chad`Winters> But something tells me you already knew that.
<DeathStar> <Alexander> ......
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr eyes the ground
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue. 1"Where's my daughter?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien walks off the shuttle, barely keeping his own grief off his face. Alexander glares at Darien, then nods to Eve. Eve moves and opens a door, and Aya runs out, leaping at Chad for a hug.
* Chad`Winters turns, stepping back as he catches Aya. 1"Hey princess."
<DeathStar> <Aya> Hey. 6* She hugs him tightly, clearly relieved he's okay
* Drasek` glances at Erevis. "You ready to go home, luv?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Briefly. I wish to go to Angela Bennet's house afterward.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances at Erevis and Drasek, then moves on.
* Drasek` nods once. "Right. After you then." He motions.
* Megumi glances toward Zephyr without much heart
<Chad`Winters> I'm sorry I left you here with him. 6He strokes her hair gently.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> ....
<DeathStar> <Aya> It's okay. He was nice. 6* She glances at Eve, the two exchanging a glance. "It was nice."
<DeathStar> 6* Alexander walks off
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis moves on with difficulty
<Megumi> Darien, please keep in touch.
* Chad`Winters glances at Eve then nods to her. 1"I shuuld tell you this now. Angela didn't make it."
* Drasek` sighs and walks after her. "Maybe you should rest, Revi."
<DeathStar> <Eve> I heard.
* Megumi moves toward Zephyr, culled.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances at Megumi, then moves on
<DeathStar> 6* Aya stares, wide eyed.
<Angela> * Darien's datapad beeps with a new message.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes it, clicking it on
<Chad`Winters> She died trying to save Darien and then something strange happened and her body disappeared.
<DeathStar> <Aya> .... .... Oh. 6* She seems shocked.
<Angela> * It's a message from Angela, dated a few hours after her death. The title says, "Read in private."
<Angela> * Minutes
<DeathStar> 6* Darien pauses, swallowing once, then pockets it.
<Megumi> Zephyr... we should go home.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Yeah....
* Chad`Winters looks back at Eve again. 1"Thank you for watching Aya."
<DeathStar> 6* Eve nods once. "It was my pleasure, Mr. Winters." 6* She turns and moves on. Alexander, meanwhile, sits at his desk, grabbing a bottle of Scotch, eyeing it in disbelief.
<Megumi> Might we share our sleeping quarters tonight?
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr nods once. "Yeah."
<DeathStar> -TIME JUMP-
* Megumi doesn't actually feel the need for that-- but with Zephyr's reaction... she hugs her, then directs her to follow.
<DeathStar> Location: Angela Bennet's House. Night
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis has invinted, all those who wish to come, to attend something at Angela's House. She stands in front of a makeshift shrine she has made up, with unlit candles on it. She is wearing a white Japanese shrine outfit, with her hair done up with chopsticks
* Drasek` stands off to the side with his arms crossed, not wearing anything different, but it does look like his suit is clean.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr is there as well, wearing her typical clothing
* Chad`Winters leans against his car, watching from afar.
<Megumi> 6Megumi, after a shower, changed to her white butterfly yukata since her other clothing was destroyed.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya stands there, watching quietly.
<Megumi> 6Dawn tilts his head at the affair, his arms crossed and gazing away, in doing so staring at Drasek. He peers at their similar stances and uncrosses his arms awkwardly.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I have read, in some Earth traditions, that is customary to light a candle, and speak of something that we remember of the dead. 6* She steps forward, taking a lit candle, and touches it to an unlit one. "I will remember Angela Bennet for her choices in life. They may not have been correct ones, but they were made with good intentions, and with love."
<Drasek`> * Marcus is there, wearing a suit, a sad frown on his face.
<Megumi> 6Dawn tugs at the collar of his white shirt with a finger, as if having trouble breathing all of the sudden, then sighs.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> She stayed true to that love in her heart, even in death, and in doing so, died for the one she loved. I hope that I can do the same, as well, if I ever had to make a choice such as her's. 6* She sets the lit candle down for the next person, stepping back and to the side.
<Megumi> 6Megumi jerks visibly.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr wipes at her face a bit.
<Megumi> 6Dawn quickly strides up to the podium and lifts the candle, looking as if about to speak, then sets it down and pulls his instrument case aside and flips it open-- taking out the true Stradivarius and lifting it to play slowly the first song from the caf・ Then sets it away, without bothering to bow and moves away.
<Drasek`> * Marcus steps forward and lights a candle. "She was a great person. And this is too soon. She had alot left to do, alot of living left. And i'll truly miss her. She was a good friend. One of the few that I have." He steps back.
* Drasek` steps forward and lights a candle, he stands there his back to everyone. "She and I had some disagreements." He starts.
* Drasek` shrugs. "That's life." He turns and steps off.
* Megumi moves upward, then stands to the side of the podium, being too short. She lights another candle and holds it up, staring at the flame. 1"A true enigma and yet another I have failed to allow happiness, but one true to her own feelings.
<Megumi> I hope her final moments aren't wasted, that the legacy she leaves will bear fruit of a different kind.
* Megumi sets the candle aside, rubs her head, then disembarks.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr steps up, lighting a candle. She pauses. "Angela and I---well, she did things I didn't like. I felt she only focused on herself. And maybe she did. Maybe, even as she died, she did what made her happy. But I think I'm okay with that. She was my friend. And she cared about me. And that's enough for me."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> So I hope she's happy. I hope she can smile, whereever she is - and I hope that one day we'll see her again.

<Drasek`> * Marcus glances at Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien takes the candle, lighting the other. "Angela Bennet came to us a young girl of only 18, at a place that held no interest to her, because her father wished it. She struggled to understand the world she entered - and wanted to change things. She always wanted that.
<DeathStar> <Darien> She made it not about her father, but about herself - and she tried so hard, every day, to do what was right. I use to think she was beneath me. A pawn of Cran. But now I see I was a fool. She was a bright star. Too bright, maybe. Yes. I will remember her brightness. I'll miss you, Angela. I love you, too.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sets the candle down, moving away without stopping
* Drasek` watches Darien go, curiosly glancing towards Zephyr.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr watches him go, then sighs, looking at Drasek
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis bows. "Thank you all for coming today." 6* She says, her tone sad. She moves and sits down on the steps, resting her body, and looking miserible.
* Drasek` breaks the gaze to look at Erevis, then shifts to walk over to Zephyr.
<Drasek`> * Marcus stands, rubbing the back of his neck, then turns and walks off.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr looks at Drasek
* Chad`Winters pushes off the car and moves upto the make shift shrine, eyeing it all
<DeathStar> 6* Aya follows Chad
* Drasek` pats her on the shoulder, then turns slightly and glances at Chad.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr follows his gaze
* Megumi eyes Zephyr and Chad, then moves to Erevis, sitting down beside her.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances at her, looking as if she expects to hear how disappointed Megumi is in her
* Chad`Winters grabs a candle and lits it up, setting it down
<Drasek`> Never thought i'd see that.
<DeathStar> <Aya> ... 6* She peers at Chad. "Do you miss her?"
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Yeah....
<Chad`Winters> I don't know. 6He stares at the candles, a troubled look on his face.
<Drasek`> If you need me, bit. I'll be here. Alright?
* Megumi sighs deeply and leans on Erevis' shoulder.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks at Megumi. "Do you still love me?" 6* She asks softly.
<Megumi> Forever.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Even if you hate me?
<Megumi> I will never hate you.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya hugs Chad a bit. "It's okay to miss her."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ....
* Chad`Winters puts his hand around Aya, hugging her back.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis sniffs a bit, looking down. "I--am sorry."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I know. Thank you
<DeathStar> 6 *Zephyr smiles at Drasek
<Megumi> There's no reason for you to apologize. I have done everything wrong.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> That is not true.
* Drasek` tightens his hand on her should slightly, then releases it and nods. Stepping back.
<Megumi> Am I a liar, then?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> .... ....
* Megumi holds up a hand and laughs softly.
<Megumi> En guarde.
<Chad`Winters> Did you want to say goodbye? 6He glances down at Aya.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks at her instead. "Please kiss me. Hold me. I--want to feel you."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya shakes her head. "No. I...don't know what to think."
* Megumi glances up at Erevis, a bit taken aback. 1"That is... what you want?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods a few times.
<Chad`Winters> Alright than. We should get you home than.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Alright. 6* She goes to move away, then claps her hands together, bowing at the shrine first
<Megumi> I have... no reason to deny you.
* Megumi leans up a bit, raising a hand to Erevis' cheek.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis leans her cheek slightly into Megumi's hand, leaning in herself
<Chad`Winters> You should tell Zephyr good night before we leave.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya nods, then moves over to talk to Zephyr.
* Chad`Winters follows after her.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Goodnight, Zephyr. 6* Zephyr nods, smiling as much as she can manage. "Good night, Aya."
* Chad`Winters puts his hand on Zephyr's shoulder. 1"Night Zeph."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Good night, Chad.
* Chad`Winters squeezes her shoulder gently then let's go, turning to leave with Aya.
* Drasek` groans. "I feel like a tool now, since I totally just did that."
<DeathStar> 6 *Zephyr rolls her eyes
* Megumi leans her chin up and offers a kiss to Erevis, crawling closer.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis returns the kiss. Zephyr glances at the two. <Zephyr> Maybe things will be alright.....
<Drasek`> Sorry luv, I've got to correct that. *He moves to just give her a big ol hug*
<DeathStar> 6* Then she makes a face as she's crushed in a bear hug
* Drasek` pauses, mid-hug. "In time, bit. Everything will be fine in time." He steps back.
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: Darien's House
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps into his empty house, his datapad on the counter, with Angela's will on it. He moves past it, heading to his bed room
<DeathStar> 6* Darien goes to his bed, laying down, staring at the ceiling. He sighs, closing his eyes. All alone again
