* Ire sits in the bridge, having freshly shaven the past two days, taken several warm baths, and changed back into his normal trench coat attire. He sits on the bridge of the Altros, holding the notes he's written down about Slasher's disappearance and the Janus' take over of the Siberian Nation.
* Junior glances to Ire, standing off to the side.
* Dahok sits in a chair, his nappy hair, well still nappy.
* Ire throws the notes to the side, glancing instead at the viewport of the passing desert below them as they head in the direction of Mega City, the place their journey began and seemingly will end.
<Dahok> Think McCabe's shitting his pants yet?
<Ire> Over?
<Dahok> The death of almost every single Area LeadeR?
<Dahok> Except for his and Canadas.
<Silouette> ......
<Ire> I'm sure he's too concerned with his war right now to be worried about it.
* Dahok puts his hands behind his head
<Dahok> Now a good question is, is why did they suddenly turn they're backs on each other?
<Junior> I'd assume territorial disputes.
<Junior> Especially considering the fact that the ammount of livable land is severely limited ever since the simulation partially crashed.
<Dahok> The only two areas close enough to have area disputes is Canada and America.
<Ire> When a country wants to expand, it will go to any length to do so.
<Junior> Land is land.
<Silouette> ...they're powerhungry.
<Dahok> True, but then you have to try to keep the new land undercontrol, it just doesn't seem like a wise decision.
* Ire shifts, glancing at Dahok.
<Silouette> ....someone failed his global politics course.
<Dahok> What's that?
<Junior> Anyway, we're not here to debate. What's the plan, Ire?
* Dahok scratches his head
<Ire> Currently I have none. We know nothing about what Mega City is like these past few months.
<Dahok> Global Politics?
* Ire leans back in his seat, glancing up at the ceiling.
* Junior falls into thought.
<Junior> Well, Ire, your goal was to find out what happened to Slasher. You've accomplished that.
<Ire> Partially, yes.
<Junior> What's the other part, then?
<Ire> We have to bring Tyler McCabe to justice now.
* Junior nods.
<Junior> We need to find out where he is.
<Ire> No doubt where he always is.
<Junior> The office complex.
<Ire> Correct.
<Dahok> NRP: BRB, Pup gots to go potty.
<Junior> We can't attack directly, I can promise you that.
<Ire> No. Since they designed Altros, they would detect it. No, we're going to have to sneak into the Mega City zone on foot.
* Silouette nods slightly
<Junior> They know we have the Altros--that was our trump everywhere else. The only chance we have to use it would be to cut power to the complex and disable any defensive systems.
<Junior> So we're agreed on the ground unit scenario.
<Ire> Our first objective for now will be to get back into the city. From there, we'll learn what defenses are set up around the city and how best to deal with getting to McCabe from there.
<Silouette> ...do you think he knows we're coming?
<Junior> No doubt.
<Dahok> Unless he thinks we're going to Canada.
<Junior> He's not going to risk that.
<Dahok> Wouldn't he be spreading his attention to far then, worrying about us and Canada?
* Ire tilts his head.
* Junior looks to Dahok. "We're not an army, Dahok."
<Ire> We're starting to approach the border zone of Mega City simulator. We'll have to park Altros here.
<Dahok> Yet we've already managed to kill what? 4 leaders?
<Silouette> ...if they discover we're in the city, they WILL look for the Altros.
* Junior nods to Sil.
<Junior> For whatever reason every leader we've come across has had the preconception to deal with us personally.
<Ire> If they discover us and come searching for Altros, Jerry will remove the battleship to another location.
<Dahok> True...
<Dahok> Won't that be kinda hard, you already said they would have the technolgy to find the ship, so wouldn't they be able to lock onto him?
<Ire> I seriously doubt they'll chase Jerry across the planet.
<Ire> Just be prepared for a long stay if he does run.
* Ire brings the Altros down for a landing, the sands beneath them swirling as the engines kick it up. To anyone else watching, it would look like a normal duststorm.
<Ire> Gather what you want. Once we leave, chances are we won't be able to come back to the Altros easily.
<Ire> Whoever goes with me will be part of Team 1. Pope will take Team 2 in later to meet with us.
* Dahok plop up from the chair and strethces
<Junior> I have all I'll need.
* Silouette nods, and steps out to get her things...
* Ire stands up and exits the bridge, heading up to the top deck.
<Ire> (ala, roof)
* Dahok yawns and follows after Ire
* Junior follows Ire up after grabbing the sword.
* Ire stands on the invisible roof, a cold wind blowing across the sands.
* Dahok pops up behind Ire
* Ire glances at Dahok, then at Junior, then straight ahead.
<Ire> You two ready?
* Silouette joins the others. She's wearing her trusty jacket now, and has a pair of swords hanging at her hip
<Junior> You have to ask?
* Ire hops down to the sand, then begins to trek across the desert wastelands.
* Junior follows Ire, checking his gun's clip.
* Dahok scratches his head and leaps off where Ire
* Ire walks along, ignoring the sand the wind picks up and throws around.
* Silouette hops down silently, and keeps pace with Ire.
* Dahok follows behind Ire, his naked feet draggign throug the sand
* Ire pauses now and again, glancing around, then proceeds to move once more.
<Junior> What is it?
<Ire> I hear the sounds of engines now and again.
* Silouette hesitates slightly, listening carefully as they walk
<Ire> GM: *indeed, the faint sounds of tanks*
* Junior looks around, scanning the horizon with his eyes.
<Silouette> .....did they detect the Altros already?
<Ire> Hard to believe, but we cannot underestimate them.
<Junior> I doubt it, but that begs the question--why have tanks out here?
<Ire> GM: *up ahead, barely, something can be seen. It seems to be some type of temporary camp with tents, trucks, people, and tanks*
* Ire crouches low and pulls out some binoculars, bringing them to his eyes. He zooms in.
* Dahok comes to a stop next to Ire and crouches besides him
<Dahok> What we got?
* Silouette waits for Ire's report
* Junior narrows his eyes and clances to the others. "Do we have time to be sidetracked?"
<Ire> It's the Canadian army.
<Silouette> NRP: <Sil> ...you're shitting me, right? When did they get an army?
<Ire> Our I should say, what's left of it. It seems that they scraped up almost everything they have.
<Dahok> NRP: Dahok: They drunk then?
<Junior> The enemy of our enemy?
<Ire> Isn't necessarily our friend. *clicks the zoom finder* Those weapon crates worry me.
<Silouette> ...is our enemy's enemy. Nothing more, nothing less.
* Ire sighs, lowering the binoculars.
<Ire> I can't be positive....but.
<Ire> They look like biological weapons.
<Silouette> ......
<Junior> We have to stop that.
<Ire> ... As much as it irks me to aid the Mega City forces, I agree. We cannot let them use biological weapons to win this pathetic war.
<Junior> Our problem isn't with the forces of MegaCity, Ire. It's McCabe.
<Dahok> Tell that to them.
<Ire> And McCabe controls the Mega City forces, so they in turn want us dead. Once we piss off the Canadians, we'll have to be double careful.
<Ire> Any suggestions on how to get into the Canadian camp?
<Dahok> We could always say we're just part of McCabes army, and maybe they won't recognize us.

<Silouette> ...are you TRYING to get us killed?
* Ire eyes Dahok.
<Dahok> Plus if we cover our faces, they won't recognize us.
* Junior draws his gun and glances at Ire. "Say we do get them pissed; after we take care of the bio agents, we lure the two forces together. The ensuing battle would give us a chance to slip through the commotion."
* Ire nods to Junior.
<Ire> Good plan.
* Ire glances at Dahok.
<Ire> And if you want to go tell the Canadians you're in McCabe's army, be. my. guest.
* Dahok is staring off in space
<Junior> Sil, you're the best at sneaking around. Think you can get ahold of one of their transports? There's no way we'll outrun the tanks on foot.
<Dahok> NRP: into
* Silouette nods
<Junior> Ire, you and I are best equipped to take out the agents from a distance with our guns. Dahok, do you think you can distract them while we work?
<Silouette> ...if it's an airborn weapon, releasing it here could still be dangerous to the city...
<Junior> Good thought... Dahok, can you find a fuel tanker?
* Dahok looks around
<Dahok> Don't see one.
<Junior> We'll have to make sure the initial shots incinerate it. I shouldn't assume the materials would be flamable..
* Junior hands Dahok the binoculars...
* Dahok grabs them
<Junior> Check the base for one, maybe? They're going to need to be able to refule before their big push.
<Dahok> Huh, that might help. *plops them infront of his eyes and looks*
<Ire> GM: *Dahok finds a Canadian taking a leak in the sand. He seems happy*
<Dahok> NRP: <Dahok> God they're soo small! Oh wait, had it on backwards...
<Dahok> ...*shudders, then scans elsewhere*
<Ire> GM: *Dahok finds a fuel truck. Next to it is another Canadian taking a leak*
<Dahok> Bingo....*turns his head around* We should make our move now, they all seem to be taking an organized leak or something.
* Junior glances at Ire. "Sorry to take over like that, what's your take?"
<Ire> I have no objections or further input so far.
<Dahok> OH and the Tankers over there. *points to the direction he found the tanker in*
<Junior> Right then... are we all set?
<Ire> Alright, lets move it people.
* Silouette nods
<Dahok> So what do you want me to do now that I found the tanker?
* Ire brings out his handguns, holding one in each hand.
<Junior> Park it next to the biochemicals.
<Dahok> You want me to get into a giant bomb?
<Silouette> ...yes
<Ire> Yes.
<Dahok> No way...I have bad luck the way it is.
<Junior> You should be safe once you get in, they won't risk blowing it because the splash damage wouldn't incinerate the biochemicals--it's release them on the army.
<Junior> You'll be safe if you make it to the truck.
<Dahok> I don't know about this...
<Ire> You'll be fine.
<Dahok> ...Fine...*pulls a bandana from his back pocket and ties it around his face*
* Ire stares.
* Junior looks dumbfounded.
<Junior> Well... let's do it.
<Ire> ...right.
* Junior cocks his pistol, the energy cell whirring to life in the barrel.
* Ire begins to move across the desert sand to find a prime location.
* Junior follows Ire, checking the sights and eyeing the forces nearest the weapons.
* Ire crouches down, holding his handguns. He waits for Dahok and Sil to make their moves.
* Dahok ducks low and begins making his way to the tanker
<Ire> I hope Sil's distraction comes in soon or Dahok will be in over his head.
<Ire> GM: *Dahok is about to enter the enemy's range of sight*
* Dahok slows down to a halt and begins looking for cover
<Ire> GM: *there is none. He's in wide open space*
<Dahok> Now would be the time for some kind of distraction Sil...
<Junior> Best case scenario, Dahok makes it, and once he parks the tanker, Sil will be there to evacuate him--then we take our shot.
* Junior holds a steady aim, his brow furrowed.
<Dahok> Or atleast a nice Sand Storm...
<Ire> Most likely solution: Dahok gets shot before making it and one of us has to do it.
<Dahok> NRP: I think he means situation
<Ire> NRP: Nah, solution.
<Dahok> NRP: Oh...Darn...
<Junior> If that happens, I'll take the tanker. You're the better shot.
<Ire> GM: *Dahok is about to be spotted!*
* Ire nods calmly.
* Dahok plops low to the ground and tries to shift his body into the sand
<Ire> GM: *it's working, for now. However, it takes him 3x as long to cover the distance*
* Silouette idly takes out one of the legs of the camp's "refreshment table", hoping to draw away some of the patrols.
<Ire> GM: *a few idle Canadians come over to check it out; sadly, none near the tanker do*
<Dahok> NRP: <Chef> Sacre Bleu! My Ice Swan!
<Ire> GM: *A scorpian moves in front of Dahok*
* Dahok continues to crawl along the sand, his letting the sand cling to his body for cover
<Dahok> ...*stops moving*
<Ire> Scorpian: *rests there*
<Dahok> Psst....Move scorpian.
<Silouette> .oO( Well, that'll make my job easier later... )
<Ire> Scorpian: ....
<Dahok> One of those guards stepped on your babies, go get him!
<Ire> What is Fyro doing. *holds up the binoculars*
<Dahok> NRP: Quietly said tho
* Junior idly glances to Ire. "He'd better not be taking breaks to talk to animals."
<Ire> He's talking to a scorpian.
<Ire> Scorpian: .... *shifts some*
<Dahok> Can you belive that? It was one of the guys near the tanker.
<Ire> Scorpion: *stings Dahok, then moves about it's business*
* Dahok bites his lip as the scorpion stings him
<Dahok> Bad Mojo...
* Ire lowers the binoculars.
<Ire> I think he touched it.
* Dahok continues to shift crawl through the sand
<Junior> ...
<Ire> GM: *Dahok is only half-way there by crawling, having spent ages just doing that*
* Dahok looks to see if he can make a break for it
<Ire> GM: *those pesky guards are still there*
<Dahok> Screw it...*plants his hands and sprints forward, running towards the tanker*
* Ire watches Dahok take off. The guards immediately whip around and open fire at him. All 11 of them
<Ire> ....crazy son of a bitch.
* Dahok veers to the side
<Ire> GM: *the plasma shots smash into the ground. The Canadians rally-ho, charging Dahok*
* Dahok continues to do his best to dodge the plasma shots
* Silouette uses Dahok's distraction to head for the transports.
* Ire aims at the soldiers, firing off shots. He takes one down.
<Ire> GM: *a few more Canadian guards perk up and rush out after Dahok, making the total now 20*
* Dahok crouches low and throws up scoopful of sand at several guards, he continues to try to make his way to the transport, while dodging
<Ire> GM: *the Canadians fire, nailing Dahok in the right leg*
<Dahok> GAHH!!! *falls to the ground*
* Ire keeps firing with his handguns, taking down a group of Canadians near Dahok, giving him a slight opening. However, replacements are running out now.
<Dahok> All I wanted was some water!!!
* Silouette climbs into one of the transport vehicles, and starts it up
<Ire> Hianule, now would be the time to shoot.
<Junior> Tch... right.
* Junior fires.
<Ire> GM: *the Canadians begin to converge on Dahok. Ire takes down a few more, as does Junior. Their efforts will be in vain if Dahok doesn't get up now*
* Dahok pushes himself up, and limps around, trying his best to dodge plasma shots, in hopes some guards will get stupid and get close to him
<Ire> GM: *three guards run up in front of Dahok, swinging their rifles at him*
* Ire twists his aim, firing at some Canadians moving up behind Dahok.
<Ire> There's too many. He'll be swarmed in mere seconds.
* Silouette puts the transport on a course to run over the guards
* Dahok leaps up and over the three guards, pulling his bandana off his face in one smooth move and as he comes down, wrapping it around a guards throat, he then pulls the guard to him and he grabs onto the guard by the neck
<Ire> GM: *the guards stop firing at Dahok, all raising their weapons. However, Sil runs over six of them, making a squishy sound*
<Ire> GM: *the guards immediately begin to fire on the transport*
<Silouette> NRP: <Sil> *hums the hell march from C&C Red Alert*
<Ire> GM: *several soldiers run up behind Dahok, firing at his back*
* Dahok kicks the guard forward at the guards and shoves himself off, he then twists his body around and hits the ground, runngin
* Silouette turns the speed up to full, heading at the soldiers firing at her transport.
* Dahok drops to the ground and rolls under the shots
<Ire> GM: *the Canadians bravely hold their ground, firing at the transport as it looms closer...*
<Ire> GM: *...then they run*
<Dahok> NRP :COWARDS!
<Ire> Soldiers: *twist their aims, still firing at Dahok*
* Dahok rolls a foot then leaps up and over a guard, kicking off the back of his head, launching him close to the transport
<Dahok> NRP: Closer
<Ire> NRP: Fuel truck or the transport?
<Dahok> NRP: err..Transport
<Dahok> NRP: err..fuel tank damnt
<Ire> GM: *several dogs come running out after Dahok, barking at him*
<Dahok> BAD DOGS!

* Dahok continues running, although not as fast as he could
<Ire> GM: *the dogs leap up at Dahok, biting at him*
<Ire> GM: *the soldiers open fire at Dahok, their shots drawing closer*
* Dahok is taken down by the dogs
<Ire> GM: *the dogs tear into Dahok's arm and legs*
<Ire> GM: *A dog is shot off of Dahok*
* Ire holds the smoking handgun
* Dahok luckily his gauntlets and leg braces are on, and the teeth snap into them
* Ire reaims and shoots again, killing the rest of the dogs.
* Dahok pushes himself up and throws a dog to the side in the sand, he then kicks the other one in the ribs
* Dahok spins around and runs upto the Tanker and tries to open the door
<Ire> GM: *the door opens*
* Junior changes clips in his gun.
* Ire glances at Junior.
<Ire> They're pissed.
<Ire> GM: *the Canadians keep firing at the transport Sil is in, blowing out the wheels finally*
* Dahok quickly pulls himself in as several plasma shots hit the door
* Dahok looks around for the keys to start it up
<Ire> GM: *the keys are there*
<Junior> Yeah, they are--we can't run yet though.
<Ire> GM: *Several soldiers leap onto the tanker door, reaching in through the window to grab at Dahok*
* Ire turns and fires at one soldiero n the tanker, splattering his brains all over Dahok.
* Silouette bails out, moving to use the transport for cover.
<Dahok> Gah! *grabs one of the soldiers hands and twists it around until it snaps
<Ire> GM: *the soldier cries out, falling off*
* Dahok uses his other hand to start the tanker up
<Dahok> Let's see ya try to shoot at me now ya son's of a bitches!
<Ire> GM: *the last soldier hanging on does just that...he fires at Dahok through the window. It seems impossible that Dahok Fyro can dodge it, too!*
<Ire> Sil's transport is down.
* Dahok throws his left arm up to let it impact into the gauntlet
<Silouette> NRP: Now many soldiers are near the transport?
<Ire> GM: *good thing the guy brings out an AK-47 and firs THAT at Dahok*
<Ire> NRP: 15
* Dahok quickly ignites his hand on fire, letting the bullets slam into the enormously hot fire, he then punches outwarrd at the guy
* Junior shoots out the legs of various soldiers at a distance.
<Ire> GM: *the soldier dodges the attack, then leans back in and fires the AK-47 at Dahok's head*
* Ire fires at the 15 soldiers near Sil.
* Dahok ducks down and grabs the door unlatchign it and shoving it open
<Ire> GM: *the soldier is knocked off balance, but holds onto the door*
* Dahok uses this time to reach out and grab the soldier by the head and pulls him forward, headbuttnig him
<Ire> GM: *the guy cries out. He presses the AK-47 forward at Dahok and fires again*
* Dahok smacks it to the side
<Ire> GM: *the shots smash into the side of the fuel tanker*
* Dahok pins the door against the top of the window opening and punches him in the throat with his other hand
<Dahok> NRP: gun
* Junior gets to his feet. "Think I need to head down there?"
<Ire> GM: *the man gacks, then pulls out his handgun and navigates it forward, firing at Dahok's face*
<Ire> That tanker is about to explode, I would estimate.
<Ire> GM: *the tanker meanwhile is about to smash into a tent*
* Dahok leans back and swings his leg up and over and into the guys chin
<Ire> GM: *the 15 soldiers hunt for Sil around the transport*
<Dahok> NRP: never put it in gear.
<Dahok> NRP: SO HA!
<Ire> NRP: Shhh, makes it more dramatic.
* Silouette moves a safe distance from the transport and places a shuriken into the fuel tank.
<Dahok> NRP: should had the gear selector been hit.
<Dahok> NRP: She's gonna kill me!
<Ire> NRP: IT did. OFf scenes.
<Ire> GM: *chunk. The fuel tanker explodes*
* Junior takes aim on the bioweapons.
* Ire stares in awe.
<Ire> GM: *the flames wash outward as the explosion grows bigger*
<Silouette> NRP: The tanker exploded?
<Ire> NRP: Yes.
* Junior shoots at the canisters.
<Ire> GM: *the canisters goes off next*
<Dahok> MiniGM: *a fireball shoots out of the explosion and heads towards Ire and Jr.*
* Ire glances up at the fireball.
* Junior jumps to the side.
* Ire navigates himself out of the way.
<Dahok> MiniGM: *the fireball slams into the ground infront of them and slides along the desert floor, sending sand everywhere
<Ire> GM: *The entire camp is an uproar now. And it seems they're getting ready to hit the group hard*
<Junior> It's time we took our leave, I think...
<Ire> Indeed, but Sil never secured a transport.
<Dahok> Owwww.....*lies where the fireball used to be*
<Ire> Scorpion: *walks up to the smoking, black figure of Dahok and stings him, then moves off*
* Ire stares.
<Ire> He lived?
<Junior> And he said he's unlucky.
<Dahok> The...pain...
* Dahok 's entire body is pretty singed
<Ire> GM: *in just 1 minute, the group will be overrun*
<Ire> ...if Sil's going to do a last second save, now would be the time.
<Junior> Here's to hoping Sil's on the rebound.
<Ire> GM: *30 seconds*
<Ire> ...
<Junior> How many bullets do you have left, Ire?
* Silouette speeds in with a second transport. She'd be out of breath if she could breath.
<Ire> GM: *they're in range. The Canadians open fire on the transport, which moves in front of the group right in time*
* Ire bends down and lifts up Dahok, dragging him to the transport and throwing him in the back.
* Ire reaches into his pouch and brings out a needle, injecting something into his veins.
* Ire throws the needle away, then brings himself up next to Sil.
* Junior jumps onto the transport, providing cover fire.
* Junior glances to Ire "What was that?"
<Ire> I'm afraid it's the last of our healing fluids.
* Silouette starts off before they get blasted to hell
<Ire> GM: *the Canadians chase after them.*
<Ire> Here, Sil, switch with me.
* Silouette nods, and waits for Ire to get the accelerator before she slides out
* Ire switches and then hits the gas, driving away. He takes a course at what seems to be nothing but open desert, though one can detect a faint ripple in the sky now and again.
<Ire> GM: *suddenly, out of nowhere, the Mega City forces, however small now, emerge from the ripple. They are on a course with the Canadian forces*
<Junior> Well, it didn't work perfectly--but it worked. *takes a seat*
<Ire> It looks like both sides are throwing everything they have into the final two punches.
* Dahok groans in the back
* Ire shifts the gear, driving faster.
<Ire> Lets head for Vesperton.
