* CaptainDrake sits in his Captain's chair, reading over reports. He seems to be rather bored.

* Wiendigo stares at X1.
<Wiendigo> I'm going to murder you.
* Sardis eyes Wien and X1.
* Katrina` sits in the lounge, eyes closed as she sits in one of the chairs. A book is opened on her lap, probably having been read moments before.

* Corvus stands over Kat
* DocBlack ambles onto the bridge, as she takes a sip from her mug. It smells like coffee. She smiles as she makes her way to her seat, eying Weindigo, "Call me a drunk, but when did we get a new captain and a boyfriend for X1?"

* Shiva` looks over at a technician
<Shiva`> About how many Gears do we have operational?
* CaptainDrake glances up from his report to eye the "good" doctor. He sighs, going back to the reports.
* DocBlack laughs amiably, and takes another sip from her coffee mug.
* Sardis turns back to the weapons console, shaking his had.
<Sardis> *head
<X1> We got a new cap-OH MY GOD, WE DID!
* CaptainDrake sighs.
<CaptainDrake> You'd think I hadn't been around for the past two months.
<DocBlack> I've been busy. Rehab. The wagon thing. The falling off it.
* X1 blinks, examing Drake's face
* Sardis looks at Drake.
<X1> Funny, you don't look two months old..
<Sardis> Well, you're much more subdued than our last Captain.
<CaptainDrake> I'll keep that in mind, Sardis.
* CaptainDrake glances at X1
<DocBlack> ...we had a captain?
<CaptainDrake> And didn't you just exclaim I was a ghost just a month ago?
<X1> The jury's still out on that!
<Katrina`> Tech: Around 10.
* Wiendigo folds his arms in disgust. "And no one bothered to flush him out an airlock yet?"
* CaptainDrake glances at Wiendigo.
* DocBlack smiles to Wiendigo.
<CaptainDrake> By the way, Wiendigo. Do you have a location in mind, yet, that we can take you to?
<X1> Yeah, home.
<Shiva`> Sounds good, you guys can go on your coffee brake now if you want.
<X1> NRP: Argh
<Wiendigo> Yeah, home.
<CaptainDrake> ....And where would that be?
<Wiendigo> Earth, dingleshits.
<CaptainDrake> Earth. I apologize. I guess you don't know that reploids aren't welcomed there anymore.

<Wiendigo> We weren't exactly welcomed before, either.
<CaptainDrake> Point.
* Shiva` walks over to her desk and begins drawing up things
<CaptainDrake> Well, Earth is a little out of our way. I'll take you to the nearest Alliance starbase and they'll charter a flight to Earth for you.
* Corvus pokes Kat
* DocBlack rolls her eyes.
<Wiendigo> Fucking wonderful.
<Katrina`> Mmmm? *opens her eyes, blinking sleepily. She looks at Corvus, smiling* Yes?
<Wiendigo> Anything to get away from...ugh, HIM..
* Wiendigo glares at X1
<DocBlack> Oh, just give him a chicken. It will entertain him for hours.
<CaptainDrake> Oh? That's funny, he gave me this letter saying you wanted to be his roommate.
* X1 waves at Wien, blowing him a kiss with a bashful wink
<Sardis> The more you reference him, the more he won't go away.
* CaptainDrake pulls out a crudely done letter, looking at it.
* Corvus shrugs. "I felt like poking you."
* Katrina` smiles at him, stretching as she leans forward.
* X1 stops scribbling on consoles with a crayon
<Katrina`> I must have fell asleep.
<Corvus> You look exhausted.
* DocBlack pushes her chair closer to Wiendigo, making a weee sound as she slides.
<Katrina`> Well, Thedda hasn't been coming to work a lot lately. So, I've had to take up her duties as Science Officer again.
<CaptainDrake> ... Doctor Black, if you cannot contain yourself, I'll have to ask you to leave.
* Wiendigo looks at the Doc. "Great, they're flock to me like disease."
* Shiva` stands up from her desk and stretch's.
<CaptainDrake> That goes double for you, X---*stops when Ensign 3 signals him over to the comm. station* Hold that thought. *gets up and walks over*
<X1> Which thought?
* Shiva` heads to the elevator and punch's in the bridge
<X1> Crap, I forgot which thought!
* DocBlack blinks, and then nods. She takes a swig of her coffee. "I'll have you know Wiendigo, a smile and a bit of nice words, will get you more then lemons and vinegar.
* X1 drops to his knees, sobbing overdramatically
* Sardis eyes X1
* CaptainDrake frowns, motioning for the headset. He puts it on, talking into it.
<Sardis> Is this whad the Aquarius has been degraded to?
<Wiendigo> Lady, I don't know who the hell you are, but you really don't know who the fuck I am.
* Katrina` stands up, closing her book.
* Shiva` reaches the bridge and steps out of the elevator and looks around
<Katrina`> I should go up to the bridge and see what's going on. Want to join me?
<Corvus> That's rough. But it's good experience.
<Corvus> Sure.
<DocBlack> I know who you are. But you don't know me, so shut up and listen kid.
* CaptainDrake hands the headset back down. He looks at Sardis and walks over.
* Wiendigo grins. "Kid? I'm old enough to be your great-grandfather, fleshbag."
<CaptainDrake> Commander Sardis, I have a question. I've gone over the files of the ship's past missions, but since Cardinal is busy right now, I suppose you will be the most experienced in what I just learned.
* Katrina` walks towards the elevator.
* Shiva` looks back and forth between Wien and Doc
* Corvus follows after Kat
<Sardis> What was that?
<CaptainDrake> Do you remember a man called "Skaad"?
* DocBlack winks at Wiendigo, "That's right, you reploids don't age so much. But you can get drunk, if I'm correct."
<Wiendigo> Flattry'll get you knocked up.
<Sardis> Yes, he betrayed us and uncovered a weapon that belonged to one of the heros of the Galactic Conflict.
<DocBlack> That's the point.
<Wiendigo> Not by me.
<Wiendigo> Try the nutball in white, he'll hump anything.
* CaptainDrake nods.
* DocBlack sighs, "No thanks, I'll just call Snipe."
* Katrina` steps into the elevator.
* Wiendigo rolls his pupiless eyes. "He'll jsut give you crabs."
<CaptainDrake> Skaad managed to get some of the raiders under his command and so far he's done nothing. Alliance Command just informed me that they put some spies in his network and it seems that he's found a way to repair this ... weapon you mentioned. The spies delivered the location, but all contact with them has ceased since.
<DocBlack> I'm a doctor, I know the cure.
* Sardis blinks
* CaptainDrake pats Sardis on the shoulder.
<Sardis> That could be remarkably bad.
* X1 slides up next to Doc. "Say, my son's a doctor..."
<CaptainDrake> I agree. Put us in Yellow Alert. We're the closest ship with any experience with him. We're going in.
* DocBlack looks to X1, "You're not my type."
<Sardis> Aye sir.
* Sardis does so.
* CaptainDrake walks over to Ensign 2 and begins to give him the coordinates.
<Katrina`> GM: *alarms go off briefly, alerting the crew to get into their attack positions*
<X1> What? Drunk and horny?
* Shiva` looks up at the blaring yellow lights
<Katrina`> Ensign 2: Aye. *puts them into hyperspace*
<Shiva`> So what's the deal now?
* Katrina` steps off the elevator onto the bridge just as the alarms go off. She looks around, confused.
<Wiendigo> The fun never stops
<DocBlack> No, I tend to like men with a slight clue on reality.
* CaptainDrake turns to look at them
<CaptainDrake> I fear your trip home has been delayed, Wiendigo.
* CaptainDrake grabs a microphone, speaking so everyone on the ship can hear him.
* DocBlack shrugs, and sips her coffee one more time
* X1 looks at Wien, back at Doc, then back at Doc. "You're propostition the wrong sociopath then, doc."
* Corvus look at Kat. "Ever feel we show up at the worst times?"
<CaptainDrake> A raider by the name of Skaad has come into possession of a powerful weapon. Our spies have alerted us to the fact that he can now repair this weapon. We've been giving the marching orders of arriving at the planet where he will repair the sword and stop him before he can. We expect heavy resistance, so get this ship battle ready.
* Katrina` nods.
* DocBlack blinks, and looks back up at X1, and then looks to Drake.
<CaptainDrake> I want Commander Thedda on the bridge now. I need to volunteers to go to her quarters and get her.
* Wiendigo rubs his knuckles. "Good, I've been itching for a fuckin' fight."
* Shiva` looks at Wien
<Shiva`> Aren't you a bag of fire ants.
<DocBlack> Lovely, I'll prepare the body bags.
* Wiendigo glances blindly at Shiva. "You ain't worth my time."
<Katrina`> I'll go!
<Shiva`> I'll run down the hanger and get everything prepped.
<CaptainDrake> Good. I want someone else to go with Kat.
<Corvus> I'll go.
<CaptainDrake> Alright, you two. Make it fast.
* Shiva` leaps into the elevator
<Wiendigo> Aww, isn't that cute? The little shit's got a crush.
* Katrina` nods, saluting. She turns to Corvus, smiling, and gets into the next elevator after Shiva leaves.
* DocBlack pulls her comm out, "oh Molly.... how's the sickbay doing?"
<Katrina`> Molly: Fine, fine. All clear.
* Corvus follows after Kat, gaping wordlessly at Wien's comment
<DocBlack> comm: excellent!
* Sardis follows.
* Katrina` hits the button for the floor where Thedda is. She stands there, waiting.
* CaptainDrake sits down in the Captain's chair.
* DocBlack glances to Wein, "Like... duh."
<CaptainDrake> We'll prepare an away team. Something tells me we'll need ground forces.
* X1 tugs on Wien's arm. "It's just like the old days! Only you're not trying to kill us!"
<Wiendigo> Give me time.
<CaptainDrake> Any volunteers for the away team before I assign people?
<Katrina`> GM: *the elevator opens before Sardis, Kat, and Corvus. The hallway where Thedda's quarters are are strangely empty. A few paces down, Thedda's door can be seen, closed*
<Wiendigo> Yeah, me.
* CaptainDrake looks dubious.
<CaptainDrake> I don't know...
<Sardis> Thedda's been odd lately.
<Katrina`> I hope she's okay.
<Corvus> Haven't we all?
<DocBlack> I'll go!
<CaptainDrake> Alright, Doctor.
<Wiendigo> Look, you want the situation dealt with or not?
<CaptainDrake> Alright, fine. You can go.
* Katrina` paces down to the door and hits the button, alerting Thedda that someone is there. However, there's no response.
<Wiendigo> Now that's the shit I'm talkin' about.
* DocBlack smiles contently, and sips her coffee serenely.
<CaptainDrake> We'll send Thedda down as our science officer.
<CaptainDrake> And Sardis will want to go.
* Corvus raps on the door
* Sardis walks over to Thedda's door "We better check on her." *uses his card to open the door*
<DocBlack> Bah, Thedda's useless. You want Katrina.
* CaptainDrake glances at Black.
<Katrina`> GM: *the door slides open. Inside, it's pitch black. It's almost eerie.*
<Wiendigo> Yeah, send her. I want something to molest after I'm done.
* CaptainDrake stiffens.
* DocBlack rolls her eyes, "Pediphile."
<Sardis> Oh, the lights are out. *hits the button*
<Wiendigo> Drunken whorebag.
<Katrina`> Lights. *The room lights up and written all over the wall in battery fluid is "Red rum". It covers the entire walls on all sides and sitting in the corner, in a fetal position, is Thedda. She looks at them with a wild look, numerous cuts on her -- no doubt, the source of the battery fluid*
<Corvus> ...What in the hell...
<Katrina`> Oh my God...
* DocBlack casts a glance to Wiendigo, "Rusty, outdated robot."
*** Kimera has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer)

<Katrina`> Sar--Sardis...I think you need...to get Black down here.
<Wiendigo> And you wanted to jump my frame. Who's more sad?
<Sardis> ... I told you she's a little odd lately...
* DocBlack laughs again.
* Sardis comms DocBlack.
* Katrina` walks in, kneeling down beside Thedda to help her. She just flinches away.
<Katrina`> NRP: Drake: God, we'll never get those walls cleaned. Oh well. Wiendigo would like the room.
* DocBlack answers, "yello!"
* Wiendigo looks at Drake. "Great crew of worthless shit you've got here."
* CaptainDrake doesn't have a come back, oddly.
<Katrina`> Ensign 2: We'll be arriving at the location shortly, sir.
<CaptainDrake> Perfect. We're running low on time. And where is Thedda and the others?
<Sardis> Comm: Doc, come down here and look at Thedda. She's tried to dismantle herself again.
<DocBlack> comm: Alas, I forgot how we stopped her the last time. I'll be right down.
<Wiendigo> NRP: <Drake> Wel...yeah, what's your point?
* DocBlack stands, "I'm needed. Thedda is....well, a fucking nut case." She nods, and heads off the bridge, into the elevator.
<CaptainDrake> .... *lets out a steadying breath, crossing off Thedda's name and replacing it with Kat's*
<Wiendigo> She ain't the only one.
<Katrina`> Oh, Thedda...
* Wiendigo takes out a cigar from a pocket on his side and lights it
<X1> Uh, Wien, there's no smoking in here.
<CaptainDrake> Ensign 3: Uh, no smoking in here, uh, Wiendigo sir.
* Wiendigo smacks X1 in the face.
* DocBlack hums along with the elevator music, until the elevator stops on Thedda's floor. She exits, and walks down the hallway.
<X1> ...ow...
<CaptainDrake> Comm: Sardis, leave Thedda to the Doctor. You, Kat, and Corvus report back to the bridge.
<Sardis> Com: Roger. *heads to the elevator*
* Katrina` hesitates, then leaves Thedda. She follows Sardis back to the elevator.
* Corvus rubs the back of his neck
* DocBlack passes them, eying them before walking into Thedda's room. "Right."
<CaptainDrake> Comm: Shiva, have your people prepare a shuttle.
<Shiva`> Comm: They're already prepping one up now.
* Wiendigo stretches, cracking his knucles out away from his body.
<DocBlack> Comm: Bridge, is the party leaving without me?
<CaptainDrake> Comm: Excellent.
<CaptainDrake> Comm: No. Just get Thedda to your Med Bay. They can deal with her.
<Wiendigo> Time to go to work.
* Katrina` arrives back on the bridge with the others.
<DocBlack> Comm: Excellent sir....
* CaptainDrake turns to look at Sardis and Kat.
* DocBlack picks up Thedda, hoisting her over the shoulder, "....really girl, you oughta so try the vodka...."
<CaptainDrake> You two will be joining Wiendigo and Doctor Black on the ground team.
<Wiendigo> *out of the corner of his mouth* Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty...
<CaptainDrake> Thedda: *tries to fight, but is too weak and just slumps forward. Her eyes get a far away look as if her mind is leaving*
* Katrina` looks at Wiendigo, waving to him almost nervously.
* CaptainDrake clears his throat.
<CaptainDrake> Alright, you guys, get to the hanger and wait there for further orders. Shiva will meet you.
<Katrina`> Aye, sir.
* Katrina` nods, stepping back into the elevator.
<Wiendigo> Ass-stompin' time.
* DocBlack brings Thedda to sickbay, and then makes her way to the shuttlebay.
* Wiendigo gets on the elevator
* Sardis heads to the hanger
* Katrina` holds it open for Sardis and Wiendigo.
* CaptainDrake looks at Corvus.
<CaptainDrake> Do you want to go or maintain the ship?
<Corvus> I'd better maintain the ship, sir.
<CaptainDrake> Understood. The engineering sector is waiting for you then.
<Katrina`> GM: *they ride down to the hanger*
<Corvus> I'm not much of a field operative.
<Corvus> Right.
* X1 stares at hte elevator; his head cocked
* Katrina` steps out, putting her hair up into a pony tail. She then makes sure her sabre is workign properly.
<X1> That's wierd..
<CaptainDrake> What is?
* Shiva` stands next to the shuttle waiting
<Katrina`> GM: *suddenly the Aquarius emerges from hyperspace. Waiting there, much to Ensign 2's surprise, is 5 Raider vessel, all around a volcanic planet.*
<Katrina`> Ensign 2: It looks like we have quite the welcome party waiting for us.
* X1 scratches his helmet. "Well, Wien usually transports himself through the shadows or phases through matter to get to where he's going. But he just left in the elevator."
<CaptainDrake> Perhaps he's conserving energy. He was in the slave camp for a long time.
* DocBlack tucks the hair loose from her bun around her ear, and pats her trusty sidearm and scanner that sits in the pockets of her labcoat.
<X1> If there's naything Wien doesn't have to do, it's conserve energy.
<CaptainDrake> Red Alert. *the alarms ring across the ship as they go into red alert* Get ready to fire when they're in distance. *looks at X1* That's a mystery we solve for another time.
* Katrina` gets into the shuttle.
* X1 stands there with a pipe and Sherlock hat on. "The game is afoot!"
* Shiva` steps into the shuttle
* CaptainDrake hits the comm to the shuttle.
* DocBlack gets into the shuttle too!
* Sardis steps on.
<CaptainDrake> We're meeting heavy resistance. We'll try to draw their fire while you land on the planet. These are older models, so the Aquarius should have no problem stopping them. You guys just get to the planet.
* X1 steps on the shuttle and sits near the back
<X1> NRP: Argh
* Wiendigo steps on the shuttle and sits near the back
<Katrina`> Um, where's our pilot?
<CaptainDrake> GM: *The Aquarius moves into firing range. They begin to open fire on the closest Raider vessel, which has already begun it's attack vector, along with the other 3 ships. The Aquarius shakes as it's shields are hammered upon*
<CaptainDrake> Ensign 3: The Raiders are hailing us. They say, "We look forward to your surrender".
* Corvus steps off the elevator into Main Egineering
* Shiva` looks back and forth
<Katrina`> Pilot: *comes running forward, wearing sandals. He gets into the shuttle quickly, grabbing the controls* Sorry, I had to take a shit.

<Katrina`> Shuttle: *lifts off and flies out of the hangers into space*
*** CaptainDrake has left #taw
* DocBlack laughs heartily
<Katrina`> GM: *as the shuttle enters space, they begin to move towards the planet as quickly as it can muster. However, they don't go unnoticed --- one of the raider vessels begin to launch a squad of fighters after them*
<DocBlack> ...well, shite.
<Sardis> Indeed.
* Katrina` looks worried.
<Shiva`> Those looks like standard G-Class Gears. They shouldn't be a challenge to outmanuever.
<Katrina`> Pilot: Don't worry. We'll lose them. *he aims for the volcanic planet -- the entire planet looks as if it's ready to explode, pure block with red cracks running along it like veins. All around volcanos exploding can be seen. And, the pilot is heading right towards one of them*
<Katrina`> *black
* Wiendigo sits there, smoking his cigar smugly
* DocBlack sits there, and takes a calming sip of coffee.
<Shiva`> ...Umm, how do we plan on surviving on that ball of lava long enough to stop Skaad?
<Sardis> Moreover, how is he surviving there?
<Wiendigo> I won't have a problem.
<Shiva`> That's a shame.
<Katrina`> Parts of the planet are stable enough that he can land. But the air is unbreathable, so he probably has an oxygen mask.
<DocBlack> Those of biological components might though.
<Katrina`> GM: *behind them, the fighters open fire at the shuttle, the blasts flying past. The pilot flies past one of the exploding volcanos and heavy rocks/fire rains down around them, smashing the fighters up. Successfully clear, the pilot begins his cans*
<Katrina`> Pilot: I'm going to look for lifeforms. Once we locate them, we can move to intercept them.
* Katrina` stands up, opening an overhead compartment. She pulls down the oxygen masks, passing them out to those who need them.
* DocBlack takes her mask, and lets it hang on her neck.
* Shiva` grabs one and toss's it over her face
* Katrina` adjusts the mask onto her face, sitting back down. Once it's on, she nods, learning forward.
<Katrina`> Pilot: Alright, I think I got them. Hang on. *tilts the shuttle, flying across the ashen surface of the planet*
<Katrina`> GM: *as they fly across the barren land, suddenly the alarms begin to ring loudly. There's a missle lock*
* DocBlack raises her arms up, and says "wee" in a mocking tone.... followed by a "shit".
*** Vile is now known as Hangman
<Katrina`> Pilot: What the---? *sure enough, a huge missile comes flying from a nearby, semi-active volcano. It flies and slams into the shuttle's engine sides, even as the pilot turns the shuttle to avoid. The impact jars the shuttle* Hang on, we're going down!
<Wiendigo> Why doesn't that surprise me.
<DocBlack> ...I think that was the point.
<Katrina`> GM: *The shuttle spins along the ashen surface, but the pilot keeps it on course for the volcano --- which seems like it could errupt at any moment with the smoke rising from the surface. He manages to level out the shuttle and puts down the landing gear, roughly landing along the surface, not far from the volcano*
<Katrina`> Pilot: .... *takes a deep breath* I-I did it!
* Katrina` sighs in relief.
* Shiva` unbuckles and walks upto the Pilot
<Katrina`> Pilot: If I had my guess, I say the raiders are at that volcano. I'll begin repairs on the shuttle. I should have fixed in an hour.
* Wiendigo gets out of his seat and kicks the door open
* DocBlack sighs with some relief, "...it's going to get alot harder."
<Shiva`> Do you think you can get this flyable again?
* Katrina` turns on her mask, breathing in the air and steps off after Wiendigo kicks open the door. She jumps off, landing on the black soot that is the ground.
<Katrina`> Pilot: *winces at the door* Yeah.
<Shiva`> Alright.
* Shiva` turns her mask on and leaps out the shuttle and onto the ashen ground
* Katrina` straightens up, looking at the volcano before them. It rises into the sky like a towering giant. She looks at it, determined.
* DocBlack tuns her mask on as well, and hops off the shuttle. She looks around, "....Dante was right."
* Wiendigo holds his hands out and two sets of claws jump out from the top of his hands
<Shiva`> The kitten has claws.
* Katrina` turns to Sardis.
<Katrina`> I guess you're team leader, Sardis. What's the order?
* Wiendigo swings his arm back, holding his claws inches away for Shiva's face. "Wanna find out how sharp they are, bitch?"
<Sardis> ... If I'm the leader, I wish Drake had given me more information.
<Katrina`> I'm sure you can improvise. *smiles*
* Shiva` smirks at Wien
* DocBlack points to the volcano, "The missle came from there."
<Shiva`> Cute.
<Sardis> We head to the volcano, find Skaad and put an end to this.
* Sardis nods to the door, "After you, Kat."
<Katrina`> See? *she chirps, walking ahead*
<Wiendigo> Eh, whatever. *shoves Shiva*
* Sardis draws his axe, moving on.
* DocBlack sighs, and takes the rear.
* Shiva` steps back from the shove and runs her hand through her hair, laughing to herself
<Katrina`> GM: *as they trek closer to the volcano, the black soot literally covers everything. The air is even darkish, and there's nothing but dust and clouds in the air. Not a friendly place.
*** Raider_Bots has joined #taw
* Wiendigo is suddenly gone from view
* Raider_Bots leap out of the soot. They are standard robotic drones with limited AI intelligence. They have sharp spikes for hands and there's around seven of them.
* Sardis eyes the bots and pulls out his gun, opening fire.
* Katrina` steps back in surprise. She quickly draws her sabre, slashing at the nearest one.
* Raider_Bots scatter, letting Sardis hit nothing.
<Raider_Bots> GM: *two of them leap at Sardis, thrusting their spiked hands at him from two different directions - front and back*
* Corvus 's hand bursts out from the soot, catching the leg of one bot as it darts by
* Sardis runs forward, taking their being scattered as a chance to rush by.
* Shiva` forms and icicle and hurls it at a Raider Bot
<Raider_Bots> GM: *three of them rush at Shiva, slashing at her high, low, and mid-chest*
* DocBlack blinks, and yelps. She fires at one of the bots that rushed Shiva
<Corvus> NRP: Argh, stupid windows
* Wiendigo 's hand bursts out from the soot, catching the leg of one bot as it darts by
* Katrina` twists, slashing at one of the drones coming up at Shiva. That makes only 1 coing at Shiva, which she takes out with her icicle.
* Shiva` flips up and backwards
* Raider_Bots wails at Wiendigo, thrusting at him.
* Wiendigo yanks the bot up by its foot
* DocBlack fires again, taking aim at one of the bots that attacked Sardis.
* Sardis slides, chopping with one hand, shooting with the other.
* Katrina` turns, stabbing at another one attacking Sardis. Black and her take them both out before they hit Sardis. Sardis, mean time, takes out all the remaining ones except the one wien snagged*
* Wiendigo rams his foot into the bots face, then forces it onto the ground, stomping on it repeatedly
* Katrina` stares at Wiendigo.
* Raider_Bots breaks.
*** Raider_Bots has left #taw
* Wiendigo grinds his heel, grinning savagely.
* DocBlack whipes some sweat off her brow and looks to Wiendigo, "God, you're sexy when you're brutal."
<Katrina`> GM: *The volcano ahead rumbles angerily, the ground shaking*
* Sardis moves on.
<Katrina`> I think we need to keep moving.
* Katrina` follows Sardis. They quickly reach the base of the volcano. There seems to be a path way made going up to the top of the volcano.
<Wiendigo> Good idea, kitten. *smacks Kat sharply on the ass as he passes her by*
<Shiva`> To meld a sword together requires a lot of heat, but this would be overkill.
* Shiva` follows along
* Katrina` spins, surprising an eek.
<Katrina`> Wi-Wiendigo?
<DocBlack> Depends on the melting point.... *she follows after everyone*
<Sardis> The sword was a crystal, how can you forge that?
* Wiendigo whistles to himself as he marches ahead
* Sardis runs up the path.
* DocBlack shrugs, "Beyond me. I'm a doctor, not a weaponsmith."
* Katrina` stands around awkwardly, then follows. BEHIND Wiendigo now.
<Shiva`> Apparently he's found a way.
<Wiendigo> A star.
<Katrina`> GM: *the path upward is steep. Walking just a short distance takes a long time and consumes tons of energy*
<Katrina`> A star?
<Wiendigo> Only he couldn't find a way to enter a star, so he found the next best thing.
* DocBlack sighs, and begins walking.
*** Spider-Drone has joined #taw
* Spider-Drone standing at 10 feet high and 7 feet wide, a huge robotic spider drone suddenly begins to clammer down from overhead.
<DocBlack> a volcano.
<Wiendigo> Oh good, seconds.
* Spider-Drone pauses 15 feet above the group and pulls out it's rocket launcher, aiming at them.
* Wiendigo darts up the volcano
* Spider-Drone fires the rocket in the midst of the group.
* Shiva` fires several ice blasts at the feet of the Spider drone
* Shiva` leaps back
* Sardis fires at the drone, rolling to the side.
* DocBlack dives behind a rock
* Katrina` dives backwards as the rocket impacts, blowing a chunk of the side of the volcano out, causing sand and rock to go falling down to the base of the volcano.
* Wiendigo rolls off to the side at the missle passes
* Shiva` turns her attention to two other feet and begins to ice them up
* Spider-Drone takes little damage. IT reposistions it's feet and pulls out it's laser beam, cutting through the sides of the volcano rock and sending avalanches down at them.
<Wiendigo> Fire into the soot!
* Katrina` rolls out of the way of the rocks, trying desperately not to get flattened.
* DocBlack yelps as a rock falls hard on her ankle
* Sardis does what Wien orders.
* DocBlack tries to push the rock off her ankle.
* Katrina` twists and slashes a rock in half that falls down at her. She stands there, panting.
<Katrina`> GM: *the soot rises into the air, covering the drone*
* Shiva` begins iceing up the soot underneath the Spider bot's legs
* Spider-Drone begins to wobble around, it's firing temporarily halted as it tries to relocate them*
* Wiendigo dars into the soot head on
* DocBlack winces as she pushes the rock off her ankle
* Katrina` runs after Wiendigo, determined to keep up.
* Wiendigo latches onto one of the drone's legs, starting to climb his way up it
* Spider-Drone pulls out thermal grenades now. Looks like it plans to take everyone out.
* Katrina` moves up to the side of the drone, slashing at it's legs, trying to cut into it.
* Shiva` begins sprinting up the hill
* Wiendigo climbs up to the top of the drone
* Katrina` slashes off one leg, causing it to replace it's weight on the other seven.
* Spider-Drone begins to lob thermal grenades down at those who are not near it.
<DocBlack> ...lovely.... *she staggers to her feet*
<Spider-Drone> GM: *a grenade lands near Black*
* Katrina` takes out another leg, breathing harder at the effort.
<DocBlack> ....fuck..... *she begins to run, towards the drone*
* Wiendigo jams his claws into the drone's back, starting to slash away wildly
* Shiva` turns around and fires an ice blast at the thermal grenade near Doc Black
<Spider-Drone> GM: *The grenade blows up, throwing dirt and rock up in the air. Two more land near Sardis*
* Sardis jumps away
* Spider-Drone begins to spin around wildly, trying to locate Wiendigo.
<Katrina`> GM: *it explodes moments later*
* Katrina` takes out a third leg, causing the drone to wobble around now.
* Wiendigo hacks away at the drone
* Shiva` slides underneath the robot and fires upright underneath it a blast of ice
* Spider-Drone pulls out an electric cow prod device and tries to prod wiendigio*
* Spider-Drone begins to spark.
* DocBlack falls on her face, but now seeing the drone, takes aim and fires at it
* Wiendigo reaches up and grabs the prod
* Spider-Drone begins to spark heavily.
* Wiendigo jams the prod into the drone's back
* Spider-Drone begins to get shocked. The result: it explodes.
* Katrina` is thrown back, landing roughly on her back.
*** Spider-Drone has left #taw
* Shiva` is sent sliding next to Katrina, sending soot up
* Wiendigo flies off, but lands in the soot in a kneeling position
<Katrina`> GM: *the volcano rubbles as it now has sections missing in it*
<Katrina`> *rumbles
<Katrina`> GM: *currently the team is half-way up the volcano*
<Wiendigo> Bah, fuckin' weak warmup.
<Katrina`> I think...*winces* they're meant to slow us down.
* Shiva` stands up and begins sprinting up the volcano
* DocBlack pulls herself up, and looks at the volcano, "....bloody hell...."
<Sardis> Wiendigo, you're a lot faster than any of us, why don't you head on up?
* Sardis moves upwards.
* Katrina` stands, following the others. She glances around.
<Wiendigo> That'd the best idea I've heard so far.
*** Fire_Creature has joined #taw
* Wiendigo runs ahead
* Fire_Creature explodes out the side of the volcano, lava running out it. The creature roars, looking like a flying fire worm.

* Katrina` pulls back, making sure not to get in the path of the running lava.

* Fire_Creature rolls down the side of the volcano, straight at Shiva, Wien, and Sardis.

* Shiva` waits for it to get closer
<Katrina`> What in the world is it?
<DocBlack> A fire monster.
* Fire_Creature is just feet away from Shiva. It opens it's mouth to engulf her.
*** Wiendigo has joined #taw
* Shiva` leaps to the side and fires an ice blast directly into it's side
* Fire_Creature is totally unphased to ice.
* Fire_Creature spins, biting at her legs.
<Sardis> NRP: Wien! Smite the fire thing so I can sleep!
* Shiva` pulls her leg back and fires another ice blast at it
<X1> NRP: You sent me on ahead. =P
<DocBlack> ....oh shit....
<Sardis> NRP: You went past it!
* Fire_Creature roars, turning to view Black and Kat. It flies down at them.

<Shiva`> NRP: Where's X1?
<Sardis> NRP: You did. Now kill it!
* Katrina` tenses, holding up her sabre.
* Sardis shoots at FC
<X1> NRP: The ship
* Fire_Creature roars, damaged.
* DocBlack stands to her ground until the last second. She then rolls out of the way.
<Katrina`> Doctor, go!
* Katrina` slashes at the creature as it twists to get Doc, cutting a section out.
* Fire_Creature roars angrily, slapping Kat with it's tail. She's instantly set on fire.
<Sardis> Katrina!
* Katrina` hits the ground hard, rolling.
<Sardis> NRP: Hot kitty.
<X1> NRP: *Kat hits a tin roof* Kat on a hot tin roof!
* DocBlack spins around, and fires at the FC
* Shiva` sends an ice wave over Kat
* Fire_Creature focuses back on Black as it is shot.
* Sardis runs over to Kat, trying to put her out.
* Katrina` is put out. She stands, her uniform blackened.
<Sardis> NRP: We should all be dead, you know.
<Sardis> NRP: Fire world -- no oxygen, lots of toxins... ect...

* DocBlack gruns and keeps firing, "....some help........"
<Sardis> NRP: Well, Kat and Doc should be dead.
<Katrina`> I'm...okay...*winces* The burns aren't too bad.
<Katrina`> NRP: I got iced over.
<Shiva`> NRP: *points to oxygen masks
* Fire_Creature tries to slap Black.
<Sardis> NRP: That doesn't account for the heat damage, Dias.
<Shiva`> Hey Sardis, you got a weapon, use it.
* Sardis shoots FC "Hey Shiva, to run into it, that'll kill it you know."
<X1> NRP: When has logic EVER applied to TAW?
* DocBlack gets slapped. She screams, set aflame, and drops to the ground to roll around.
<Shiva`> Then run into it.
<Sardis> NRP: Never, but it's fun to point it out.
* Shiva` quickly sends an ice wave over DocBlack
<Sardis> You're the cold one.
<Katrina`> NRP: Kat wears flame/toxic resistant uniforms.
<Katrina`> GM: *black, while burning quickly, is put out by the ice*
<Sardis> NRP: With an exposed face? Bummer of a tanline.
<Katrina`> NRP: Mask protects, too! Y
<Sardis> NRP: Icy-hot, cold to numb the pain, hot to relax muscles.
* DocBlack sighs, and lays there, "...I hate my life...."
* Fire_Creature twists on Sardis. It flies right at him, opening it's jaws.
<Katrina`> Sardis! Look out!
<Shiva`> Ice doesn't seem to phase it.
* Sardis shoots into FC's mouth.
* Fire_Creature rears back, roaring in pain.
* DocBlack calls out, "the beamsabre!"
* Sardis pulls the trigger repeatedly.
* Shiva` turns and begins walking back up the volcano
* Fire_Creature keeps getting knocked back. Kat sets herself up behind it, her sabre glowing.
<Katrina`> Just get it a little closer, Sardis.
* Fire_Creature is stuck in the attack pattern, but how long can Sardis' weapon hold out?
* Sardis drops an empty clip and reloads in one fluid motion.
* DocBlack gets up finally, a sore mess.
* Katrina` lunges forward, slashing the back half of the FC clean off. It fumbles forward at Sardis in death throes.
* Sardis uses the knockback from the shots to keep it from falling on him.
* Fire_Creature is shot away and dies.
*** Fire_Creature has left #taw
<DocBlack> .... okay.... ow.
* Katrina` pants, trying to ignore the pain. She takes deep breaths.
<Katrina`> GM: *the volcano rumbles again. They're nearing the top!*
* Katrina` walks on ahead, following Shiva.
* DocBlack walks after them
<Katrina`> GM: *when they arrive at the top of the volcano, the head is almost oppressive. However, there seems to be no one around the edge ... no, someone has built a metallic platform half-way down inside the volcano, right over the rumbling lava. Dressed in heavily protective heat suits is the raiders, all standing on guard*
<Sardis> ... Shit.
* Shiva` stops at the mouth of the volcano
<DocBlack> ....We're so dead.
<Katrina`> GM: *one raider in particular steps forward. .... it seems he's an important person, as he steps forward to the edge of the platform, holding an object*
<Sardis> Why hasn't Wien killed these ones yet?
<Katrina`> There's about 25 of them.
<Katrina`> That's a lot even for him.
* Wiendigo stands on the other side of the rim, claws out and inching to the edge, looking devil may care.
* Katrina` points
<Katrina`> There he is, Sardis.
* Wiendigo dives in
* Shiva` quicklys forms an ice dagger and pulls her hand back
* DocBlack glances to Wiendigo.....
<Shiva`> That must be Skaad. *points with her free hand at the guy near the edge*
<Katrina`> GM: *the raiders look up and begin to fire plasma weapons at him, trying to knock him out of the air*
<Sardis> Right.
<Katrina`> I think so, too. Lets stop him.
* Sardis shoots him.
* Katrina` grins, though she looks a bit worried.
* Shiva` hurls the ice dagger directly at Skaad's back
<Katrina`> GM: *the blast stop shorts. The figure turns. IT seems he has a personal shield*
* Wiendigo falls through the air, dodging blasts as best he can
* DocBlack scurries for some sort of cover.
<Katrina`> GM: *7 raiders focus on firing at Wiendigo, while the rest fire at the group*
* Sardis shrugs. "Of course. Plot disallows it being that easy..."
* Katrina` is knocked off balance and falls in. She lands roughly on the metallic platform, the wind knocked out of her.
* Sardis draws his axe and makes a mad dash for Skaad.
* DocBlack begins firing at the other raiders.
*** Skaad has joined #taw
<Shiva`> KAT! *leaps down and drops down, her dress flopping around*
<Skaad> ....So you've come, Sardis!
* Wiendigo drops ontop of the guards and starts laying way to them
* Sardis leaps and chops down at Skaad, leaving no real room for a dodge on the platform.
* Skaad holds up the broken emerald sword pieces, then tucks them away inside his suit. He pulls out his own axe, stepping forward and blocking the attack.
* Katrina` forces herself up. She begins to attack the guards, moving to dismember them and not kill them.
* Shiva` lands infront of her
* Sardis presses down against Skaad's axe.
<Katrina`> GM: *Guards rush at Shiva and Kat, trying to swarm them*
* Shiva` darts forward ramming into a guard and sending him flying towards the edge
<Skaad> You will begin to learn the pain you caused me when you left me to die.
* Skaad struggles against Sardis.
* DocBlack keeps firing at the other raiders, from her cover
<Katrina`> GM: *the guard goes over the edge and lands in the lava, burning to death instantly*
* Shiva` pulls herself into her fighting stance and spin kicks a guard that comes at her
<Katrina`> GM: *the raiders quickly catch on and fly up into the air, firing at Black from overhead*
* Wiendigo hacks away at his group of guards
<Katrina`> GM: *the guards keep trying to shoot Wiendigo, hitting themselves more than they do him*
<Shiva`> Kat, behind you!
* Katrina` cuts off another arm of an attacker, knocking him aside. She tries to ignore the black spots in her vision. She turns.
* Katrina` thrusts back behind her, catching the guard in the stoamch.
* Sardis 's axe sparks against Skaad's the two grinding against the other.
<Sardis> Die!
* DocBlack gets grazed in the shoulder, and begins to scurry to better hiding spots.
* Sardis pulls back on the axe and thrusts it forward to shove him off the platform into the volcano
<Skaad> My honor depends on YOUR death! *Slides back towards the edge*
* Shiva` twists her body backwards and grabs onto a guards arm, twisting it behind the guys back and flipping him onto the ground
<Katrina`> GM: *the flying raiders begin to lob grenades after Black*
<Sardis> You have no honor!
<Skaad> Silence your deceptive tongue!
* Sardis side chops at Skaad.
* Wiendigo grabs the body of a guard and hurls him at the ones firing at him
* Skaad parries, stepping back. He's inches from the edge. He presses the offensive, trying to hit Sardis in the stomach with his axe.
* DocBlack yelps as a grenade throws her onto the ground hard.
<Skaad> With this weapon, the galaxy will be MINE.
* Sardis parries and draw his gun, aiming it at the sword shards.
* Katrina` fights her way over to Wiendigo. The platform is almost cleared of guards.
* Skaad kicks at the gun.
<Sardis> And without it you're nothing. kicks one of them off the platform*
* DocBlack rubs her head, and gets her barings again
* Shiva` kicks backwards catching a guard in the throat
* Skaad twists, letting the kick him in the ribs instead of the shards.
<Skaad> You think I'll let you win that easily, Sardis? Your death will be a lingering one.
<Skaad> I'll take days to clean your bones.
* Katrina` takes down another guard, turning to Skaad and Sardis.
<Sardis> Tch. *shoots at the shards as Skadd recovers from the kick*
<Katrina`> Guys, we should h elp Skaad.
* Shiva` drops her foot and then kicks in to the guards chest two times, hops forward and kicks the guy in the chin, sending him fliping onto his back
<Wiendigo> It's his fight.
<Skaad> GM: *the shot hits and does nothing! It merely reflects off*
<Sardis> ...!
<Skaad> Heh heh heh
<Skaad> HA HA HA HA!
* Sardis shoves Skaad off.
<Skaad> Whoa!
* DocBlack stands, and stumbles over to Kat, "We can at least get rid of the shield."
* Skaad falls off the platform and hits the lava, vanishing from sight.
<Wiendigo> Ruling the galaxy never works out. I should know.
<Katrina`> GM: *the fight is over...*
<Sardis> ... There's your honor, Skaad.
* Sardis kicks a piece of the sword into the lava pit.
<Katrina`> GM: *both pieces went with Skaad when he felt*
<Katrina`> *fell
<Sardis> NRP: Damn you.
* DocBlack blinks, "He'll be back."
* Katrina` turns off her sabre, walking over to Sardis.
<Katrina`> You did it.
* Shiva` walks over to the edge and looks down
<Katrina`> GM: *the lava is looking greenish*
<Sardis> ... That can't be good.
<Sardis> We should go now.
* Katrina` looks up.
* Sardis turns and starts running down the mountain.
<Katrina`> Unless we can fly, there's no way out of the volcano.
* DocBlack peers over the edge, "Oh yeah, he'll be back. Don't they always come back?"
<Shiva`> Your quite the coward Sardis
<Katrina`> GM: *the lava begins to rise rapidly towards the metallic platform*
<Wiendigo> Shut up and move!
<Sardis> Alright YOU swim in it.
* Katrina` looks around, trying to think of a way out.
* Wiendigo starts climbing up the side
* Katrina` nods at Wiendigo and grips the edge, trying to pull herself up, too.
* DocBlack whips out her comm, "Shuttle, how the hell are you coming along?"
* Shiva` turns and flings her hands towards the voclano side, sending several ice picks jamming into forming a path to climb up
<Katrina`> GM: *suddenly, the shuttle flies in overhead* Pilot: Right here!
* DocBlack follows after Katrina.
<DocBlack> Damn, I love that boy!
<Katrina`> GM: *the shuttle flies down and lands on the platform*
* Shiva` turns and leaps onto the shuttle
* Sardis climbs.
* Katrina` kicks off onto the shuttle.
* Sardis sits on the shuttle, Stark style.
<Katrina`> Pilot: I think it's time we go. *the lava has now reach the platform, melting it. He lifts off into the air*
* DocBlack pulls herself into the shuttle and falls onto a chair
<Katrina`> Shuttle: *emerges out the top of the volcano and flies away from it as it erupts in green lava, which poors down the sides of the volcano*
<DocBlack> Again.... ow....
* Wiendigo watches the lava
<Wiendigo> That can't be good.
<Sardis> That's what I said.
<Shiva`> The exact color that sword was.
<Katrina`> Pilot: Well, that's one happy end---*suddenly a beam emerges from the lava and hits the shuttle, knocking a hole in it. The shuttle spins out of control* Pilot: Fuck. Not again!
* Katrina` grips her seat.
<Sardis> NRP: No, it's three shades off, dumbass!
<Katrina`> GM: *the shuttle spins out of control and slams into the ground, roughly, just out of range of the glowing green lava, which passes by*
* Katrina` slams into the side of the shuttle wall, wincing.
<Shiva`> NRP: Oh go milk a cow.
* Wiendigo climbs out of the wreckage
<Wiendigo> Round 2, coming up.
<Katrina`> GM: *a green orb rises out of the lava and lands on solid ground away from it. The orb vanishes*
* DocBlack pulls herself out of the wreckage.
<DocBlack> .....I really hate my life....
<Skaad> That's exactly right. *holds up the emerald sword, which has been fully restored* And now I got this little baby to even the odds.
* Katrina` pulls herself out, grimacing at Skaad.
* Shiva` pulls herself out, coughing
<DocBlack> Oh Christ, would you fucking grow up Skaad? You've got a big sword. Whoopdie doo!
<Skaad> Then allow me to give you a demonstration.
