* Seraphna arrives at the building, looking for her sister and niece
<Slasher> MiniGM: *a Alliance Shuttle flies over Kat and Ariel*
<Slasher> MiniGM: *which happens to go unnoticed because they're inside a building*
<Seraphna> NRP: Scratch that... I need a nap
<Slasher> NRP: Nope too late!
<Slasher> NRP: Your stuck
<Katrina]> NRP: Shut up Slasher and RP.
* Slasher exits the shuttle outside the Temp Hunter building and makes his way to the building entrance
* Katrina] gets up and sits in the corner and whispers

* Slasher stops outside the entrance and looks down at DS's sabre hilt hanging from his side
* Katrina] looks from the corner, over to Ariel, then back, whispers, giggles, and looks back again

* Slasher pulls the door open and steps inside
* Slasher walks down the hall and heads towards a bigger door and opens it stepping inside the room that Kat and Hika are in

* Katrina] is whispering at the corner again, glancing back
<Katrina]> Hey, Uncle Slasher!
* Slasher waves at Kat smiling

* Slasher continues walking forward and over to Ariel, where he sits down next to her

* Katrina] goes back to focusing on the corner.
<Slasher> Pretty good actually. Already used a small fraction of my pension pay to buy some land and have a house built.

<Katrina]> NRP: This is the epilogue session with Slasher telling Ariel what happened.

* Katrina] giggles again, looking back, looking concerned suddenly.

<Slasher> While in the core of the Planet Killer, one of us had to step into it to....shut it down...
<Hikaryuu> 10<3[12Ariel3]10> *speaks quietly, nearly in shock* ...come...come here Kat... *she holds out her arms to hold her little girl*
<Slasher> It turned him into a toy of the Motenks...But a part of him held on...
* Katrina] stands up and walks over, slowly, unsure. She embraces Ariel
<Katrina]> What wrong?
<Slasher> Kat...
* Slasher looks at her, a solemn look on his face

* Slasher looks at Ariel for help

* Slasher looks troubled when she Ariel says that

<Slasher> Kat, Death Star's getting a long sleep that he's wanted for so long...

* Katrina] looks at at the corner again, obviously struggling with what they are telling her.
* Kyouki wanders out of the shuttle finally, and goes in search of Ariel.
* Slasher looks at Kat and reaches out for her hand
* Katrina] takes it, still looking confused, perhaps a bit upset.
<Seraphna> NRP: Hika hun, you're using the alias still ^^
<Ariel> NRP: If I wasn't in the process of RPing, I'd log off for that comment Sera.
<Slasher> Star basically has fallen asleep and won't be able to see you again...except in your heart and in memories..

* Slasher drops his head
* Slasher reaches to his side and pulls out DS's sabre
<Slasher> I found this....at a crash site where some of the Planet Killer's debris landed...
<Kyouki> What are you doing with DS' saber?
* Ariel nods slowly, tears building up in her eyes, though she does her best to hold them back.
* Kyouki just looks... confused.
* Slasher hands it to her
<Slasher> He'd want you to have it...
* Ariel takes the saber gently, "T-thank you..."
* Slasher nods
* Kyouki sits down.

<Kyouki> I think he's still around...

* Ariel looks down at Kyouki's comment, stiffling a sniffle.

* Ariel pauses, trying to comprehend this.
<Slasher> Star died in the battle against the Emperor...

<Kyouki> I... I don't know...
<Slasher> Something kept...no tied his essence to his body..
<Slasher> I didnt' ask him as it wasn't my business...No one knew about it either...
* Ariel looks down at the ground.
<Slasher> Which was probably why he took the final step into the Core...If he didn't...I have no clue how long he may have stayed here..
* Ariel nods slowly...
<Ariel> He... he knew he hadn't much longer... and he... he didn't even tell me...
<Slasher> He didn't want to worry you probably..
* Kyouki looks uncertain, then hugs Ariel lightly.
* Ariel hugs Kyouki surprisingly tightly
* Kyouki blinks, hugging back a bit tighter
* Slasher looks back at the corner

* Slasher pushes himself up
* Seraphna heads into the building, looking for her sister, easily picking her up, knowing her sister when she feels it
* Slasher tries to sense Kat's position
* Seraphna opens the door, looking in, "Ariel?"
* Slasher walks by Sera not even noticing her
* Katrina] is somewhere outside.
* Ariel is quiet
* Slasher makes his way outside
* Seraphna walks over to Kyo and Ariel, sitting on the other side of her sister
<Seraphna> Is everything alright?
* Ariel shakes her head slowly.
* Seraphna 's eyes go wide, understanding instantly, prepared for this moment ever since Garland left her.
* Katrina] is standing on the edge of the curb, making crying sounds as she talks to someone.
* Seraphna hugs her sister tightly

* Slasher stops and looks at Kat, trying to pick up what she's saying
<Kyouki> I... still remember Gray...
* Ariel hugs Sera silently, tears running down her cheeks.

* Katrina] rubs her eyes.

* Slasher continues listnening
* Katrina] pauses, glancing over her shoulder directly at Slasher. She turns her face, trying to hide the fact she was crying.
* Slasher slowly makes his way to her
* Seraphna holds her sister close. trying her best to comfort her
* Slasher stands up next to Kat
<Slasher> May I join you?
<Katrina]> *Sniff sniff* Fine.
* Slasher sits down
<Slasher> Was I interupting something?
<Katrina]> No.
* Seraphna hugs her tightly, slowly letting her mind process the fact that DS is gone
<Slasher> So Star's not dead?
<Kyouki> I think I heard... never mind...
<Slasher> No...go ahead..
<Katrina]> He...said you were right. *sounds miserible*
* Slasher sighs
<Slasher> I wish I wasn't..
* Katrina] hiccups, trying to stop crying
* Slasher reaches into his pocket and pulls out a piece of metal and holds it on infront of him

* Slasher rubs it a tear forming on his eye
* Katrina] looks at the ground, controlling her crynig

<Ariel> NRP: Errr... When was the saber not dormant?
<Slasher> It's part of his armor...If you keep it, he'll always be with you..
<Slasher> And nothing can hurt you.
<Katrina]> NRP: When DS was around, it had a type of energy about it. Now it's just plain gone.

* Ariel sits quietly, holding the saber close as if it was her only lifeline to sanity.
* Seraphna hugs her big sister
* Kyouki looks like she's already lost hers.

* Katrina] nods slowly.
* Slasher pushes himself up
* Katrina] walks slowly back to the building

* Slasher follows behind her
* Katrina] walks back into the room, her eyes red from obvious crying, though she seems better now.
* Slasher steps in behind her
<Katrina]> DS Saber: *hums a bit with some energy, very faint*

* Slasher looks at the saber
* Ariel looks down at the saber as she feels the energy.

<Katrina]> NRP: .... she's talking to the saber? Eeee.
<Kyouki> NRP: Yes, she is. I never said she was sane
<Slasher> NRP: Thought he used a sabre, an upgraded version of the saber
* Ariel ignores Kyouki, it's the sane thing to do.
<Ariel> NRP: It's two spellings of the same word =P

* Katrina] walks over to Ariel, looking protective of her.
* Slasher looks at Kat and the sabre

* Kyouki just repeats the question, apparently lost for any sort of purpose.

<Kyouki> ... do you know anything about Motenk technology?
* Ariel shakes her head slowly.
* Slasher perks up

* Seraphna looks back to her big sister and her niece

<Slasher> And Kyouki, you are welcomed to stay at my house in the Alpine Mountains until you've decided on what you want to do.

* Seraphna looks at them, respecting whatever descision they make
* Kyouki grabs the saber, and starts out of the room. "This belongs to Death Star."

* Ariel looks stunned that Kyouki would steal her only momento from Deathstar

<Katrina]> Bug: *Bites Slasher*

* Slasher flicks the bug away
* Ariel crys softly...
<Slasher> How do you know that's what Star wants?
* Ariel doesn't move at all however.
<Katrina]> DS sabre: *continues to hum, for the time being*
<Kyouki> The bug told me!

* Slasher looks at her
* Seraphna covers the door with a wall of force
<Kyouki> NRP: Yes, she's damn messed up.
* Seraphna hugs onto her sister
* Ariel just sobs in a near catatonic state.

<Slasher> Your only gonna hurt the people you love..
* Katrina] gives Ariel a piece of DS' armor.

<Kyouki> And how would you know? You think he's gone!

<Slasher> But if DS really wanted that sabre to be gone, then it wouldn't have wound up in my hands.
* Ariel closes her hand around the shard, but she doesn't move other than that... Still looking out into nothingness as if she was frozen in place.
<Kyouki> ... he couldn't even speak to me... how could he stop you?
* Seraphna hugs onto her sister, cuddling both Ariel and Kat to her, trying to calm them both down
<Katrina]> Ariel...*cries, worried about Ariel*
<Slasher> If he couldn't even speak to you, then how do you know that's what he wants?
<Kyouki> Because the bug told me!
* Ariel puts an arm around Katrina protectively, though almost automated...
<Katrina]> Bug: *is on a counter now*
<Seraphna> Shhh...
<Kyouki> THAT BUG!
<Slasher> Give the sabre back to Ariel, Kyouki...
<Kyouki> But...
<Kyouki> It's something to tie him here with...
<Slasher> But nothing...If anyone is to give that sabre back, it will be Kat or Ariel.
<Slasher> You aren't the one to decide that, they are.
<Kyouki> Ariel can come too!

* Ariel pays no heed to the conversation. She's quite in shock.
* Seraphna looks at Kyo

* Seraphna tries her best to stat calm and try to comfort Ariel at the same time
<Slasher> I won't think twice about stopping you Kyouki..
* Ariel doesn't notice, she's in shock. Her eyes are glazed over.
<Kyouki> I don't want to fight...
<Slasher> Then give me the sabre..
<Kyouki> No! It goes to DS!
* Slasher takes a step forward

* Seraphna kisses her sister's cheek and tries to snap her out of it

* Ariel doesn't react in the slightest.
* Slasher looks over at the bug
<Katrina]> Bug: *sits on the counter, like a bug*
<Slasher> What if I crush it? What are you gonna do Kyouki?
<Kyouki> ...
* Slasher takes a step towards the bug
* Kyouki looks for exits.
<Katrina]> GM: *the window is one, though it's closed right now. There's a door leading to the bathroom, also*
<Slasher> *darts at Kyouki as she looks around and tries to put her in a submission hold*
* Kyouki slashes at Slasher with her claws.
* Seraphna at the same time grabs at the saber psionically
* Ariel doesn't do anything, she's in complete shock.
<Seraphna> (*Psionics three, the force of one of them stinking badgers!)
* Slasher blocks Kyoukis slashes and grabs onto her hand as it swipes by
* Kyouki clings to the saber, trying to ignite it.
<Kyouki> .oO(Sorry DS...)
* Slasher jabs Kyouki in the neck, aiming for a spot to knock her out
<Katrina]> DS Sabre: *refuses to activate*
* Kyouki faints
* Slasher catches her and sets her down
<Katrina]> I-Is she okay?
* Katrina] talking about Ariel.
* Seraphna floats the saber to her hand and gives it to Ariel
* Slasher looks over at the bug
* Ariel closes her hand around the saber slowly... automatically... like a creepy statue.
<Katrina]> Ar-Ariel?
<Katrina]> Bug: *is still there*
* Ariel slowly regains signs of life after a few moments, becoming conscious to the world around her again as she holds onto the saber.
* Slasher walks upto the bug and tries to snatch it into his hand
<Ariel> NRP: Ariel> *hangs the sabre on a chain, even wearing it as she showers*
<Katrina]> Bug: *is snatched*
<Slasher> NRP: *on the sabre is reflection of DS as he stares at her chest*
* Slasher walks to a nearby window and opens it, letting the bug out
<Katrina]> Bug: *Flies off*
* Slasher closes the window and walks over to Kat and Ariel
<Slasher> Sera, keep an eye on Kyouki.
* Seraphna nodds
<Seraphna> Okay....
* Seraphna holds Kyo down psionically
<Slasher> Ariel...can you hear me?

* Kyouki heads towards the light.

<DeathStar> GM: *as she grows closer, it's obvious the light is coming from a room up ahead*

<DeathStar> GM: *The room up ahead is a big ceremony room of some sort. Various pots and valuables are around, things that the dead might have use for. In the middle is a table of stone and standing on the other side is a figure in the darkness with two red glowing eyes*

<Xevil> This galaxy is imperfect. I merely wish to correct the way it runs a little. Did not Death Star think the same thing once and try it himself?

<Xevil> They are wrong. I'm sure you have noticed it yourself. Slasher and his hypocritical look on Motenk technology when he himself uses it. Ariel, who cannot see past needing someone else to move on with her life. Katrina, Katrina is young enough to be saved. But all of them, everyone of them, do not see things the way they are. You do.

* Kyouki smiles.
<Kyouki> Is Motenk technology really that bad?
<Xevil> Of course not. It is what will enable us to change the galaxy the way it SHOULD be.
* Kyouki grins widely.

<Xevil> There will be little things we will have to do to prepare. But we have ten years to do it. *pulls back his hand throws forward an a glowing dark orb* If you wish to join us, take this orb. It will give you strength greater than those of the Hunters. Though you must be careful not to demonstrate it around them if you ever see them. Not until the time is ripe to change the galaxy.
<Xevil> Then, then you will make them see the way you do. The right way.
* Kyouki takes the orb.
<Xevil> GM: *the dark energy absorbs into her, enabling her powers to grow and boosting her PL/SL*

<Xevil> And now, we merely wait. But, I think there is someone you'd like to speak to first. *gestures to the side of the room where another figure is standing in the shadows*
* Kyouki wanders over to the shadows.
* DeathStar stands there, arms crossed. He leans against the wall, a smirk on his face as he looks down.
<DeathStar> Hello, Kyouki. *his voice is cool, even, though a bit emotionless*
<Kyouki> DeathStar!
* DeathStar looks up, smiling back.
<DeathStar> Good to see you, too.
<Kyouki> Sorry I couldn't bring you your old saber...
<DeathStar> You tried, though, right?
* Kyouki nods.
* DeathStar nods back

<DeathStar> It's a shame, really, how they've all gone so wrong. I'd like to take Katrina from them, but not right now. That would alert "them" to our plans too soon. Even taking the saber back would do such a thing. No, we'll have to wait until Xevil's timetable is right.
