* Snipe 's hair remains trimmed short, though he has a full-fledged beard now. He seems more at peace and calm than at any time during the war, like he's finally found his place in life.

<Seraphna> *Elayne heads towards the cabin, wearing her old flight jacket, a blouse and jeans on underneath, carrying a bag of packages...

* Snipe is wearing a red sweart and jeans. He wears black gloves on his hands as he chops the woods, seemingly oblivious to the world around him at the time.

* Snipe stops in mid-swing, the axe trembling in his hand before it slides from them and hits the ground. He keeps his back turned, but lowers his arms slowly, almost deliberately.

* Snipe finally turns around, but keeps his eyes on the ground momentarily before looking up at her.
* Hotaru-chan stands up, heading over.
<Seraphna> *Elayne seems much older then she was, the last few months of the war had taken a great toll on her, though the maturity in her eyes still can;t hide her obvious youth, her hair is down, longer then ever, the redish tinge in her gold hair accenting it all.

* Snipe turns to look at Hotaru, looking a bit startled, as if he forgot she was outside with him before.

* Hotaru-chan smiles, looking older than she did during the war, but less troubled.

* Snipe pulls the gloves off slowly, throwing them to the ground beside the axe.

<Seraphna> Elayne> *smiles and hugs her* Angel, Lucas, and Jonas haven;t been too well lately... but Gramps has the doctors looking in on it...

* Snipe is sitting at the kitchen table, obviously made from hand by Snipe, sipping a cup of hot tea. When he sees Hotaru and Elayne step in, he almost loses his grip on the cup, but tightens on.

* Snipe waves a hand and two chairs shift away from the table at the two girls.

<Seraphna> *Elayne sighs and looks down, "She's done okay... I guess it was almost like she'd been prepared for it the moment she laid eyes on him... Katarina well... Jonas and Angel keep her busy..." puts the cup down and looks at Snipe "Should I go?"
<Snipe> Of course not. It's been a while since you've seen Hotaru. Don't mind me. I'll be outback. *stands up, sipping his drink and walks out of the room*

<Snipe> I look at it like this. It was love spawned from troubling times. It happens all the time, people falling in love in dangerous situations. Or perhaps it was your genetic makeup wanting to mate. I'm not sure, but I don't feel like trying to find the answers out anymore. Yes, it took me a long time to come to that conclusion, but what's done is done.
<Snipe> In any case, those kinds of reasons don't last. You can't expect a love made from a dangerous situation to make it into peaceful times. And mating, well...not my thing, really.
