The Messiah Session 1: Murder of the King

[Messiah-GM] [Minister] Yes, it is as we feared, it appears General Garion "GreyFox" Maxwell is marching on the city right now, he will be at the castle at any moment
[Hikari] [[6Siawase]] *stretches, then hops onto the window cill, looking down*
* Garland flutters his eyes open, looking at Siawase as he hears the voices
[Garland] General Garion?
[Hikari] [[6Siawase]] Mrreow.
[Messiah-GM] [Marquis] So what shall we do, the palace guards have no defense againest the whole of the Kingdom's army, and the soldiers are all loyal to GreyFox, should he march on the castle, we are all doomed, unless we surrender that is, and let that madman have the throne.
* Kyouki listens from the shadows.

* Garland gets out of bed and looks out the window
[Messiah-GM] [Minister] This is what we shall do, inform the king that we will protect the castle, I shall send riders out to GreyFox telling him we plan full surrender, then when he comes, we let him take the castle, and the throne, there is nothing else we can do*walks off down the hallway*
[Messiah-GM] [Marquis] Alright...*walks to the throne room*
[Garland] ???
[Messiah-GM] [---Narrator---] Outside, fires and large mobs of people can be seen lynching all those who do not bow to GreyFox, fires burn throughout the city
[Hikari] [[6Siawase]] *looks sad* Mer-reow...
[Kyouki] ...
* Kyouki heads to the throne room.
[Kyouki] (After collecting Garl.)
[Kyouki] (*head spins*)
[Hikari] [[6Siawase]] *follows at Kyouki's heels*
[DeathStar] NRP: WE NEED AN EXCORIST!
[Kyouki] (BRB... getting something sugary.)
[Hikari] (*Cheryl runs in and ghost busters starts playing)

[Messiah-GM] [---Narrator---] Garland and Kyouki push the door to the throne room open, the head of the marquis can be seen on the ground, a pool of blood forming at his neck, GreyFox stands over the king, sword held high, ready to come down for the killing blow
* Garland looks around
* Garland gasps
[Messiah-GM] [King Hianule] *shuddering*No...No...dont kill me...you can have it all...just leave me and my family out of this!
[Garland] Daddy!
[GreyFox] This is for all the peasents who face the tyranny of your rule everyday*slices King's head off with a single blow, spurting blood on his face and clothes*
[Messiah-GM] [---Narrator---] The kings head falls to the ground with a thud, a spattering of blood comes across Garland's face
* GreyFox turns to face the two, laughing evilly, the look of bloodlust in his eyes
[Messiah-GM] [---Narrator---] In the shadows in front of GreyFox, Hikari, the boys loyal bodyguard stands, ready to act
* Garland screams

* GreyFox runs at Stiletto, letting out a vicious slash at his figure

[Hikari] [[6Stiletto]] *desperately attempts to parry the blow with her thin curved blade as she slide back into a defensive stance*
* Kyouki fights the urge to stay and fight.
[Kyouki] NRP: OH MY GOD, THEY KILLED STILETTO!!!!

[Garland] Mommy! What's happening!?

[Messiah-GM] [---Narrator---] As Stiletto parrys the blow, a large cut appears on her right arm, wounding her
[Kyouki] NRP: *was thinking of having her as Stiletto's host*
[Hikari] [[6Stiletto]] *staggers, but lunges, swinging wide at waist level*
* GreyFox easily hops back swinging his sword at hers, knocking it to the ground, then stepping on the blade
[GreyFox] Tsk tsk*picks up sword*It appears you've lost something Lady Stiletto, are you ready to lose your life?
* Kyouki , meanwhile, makes her way out of the castle...
[Garland] Mommy!!!!!
[Hikari] [[6Stiletto]] "I... I'll never rest until you are defeated...!"
[Kyouki] Stay put.
[Garland] Y-yes mommy...
* Kyouki rushes back in,
[GreyFox] Hahaha, until Im defeated, and what preytell, makes you think you can do that!?
[Kyouki] * A knife flies at Greyfox.
[Kyouki] GET OUT!!!!
* Garland stays where he was put by his mother, crying
* GreyFox is hit in the neck by the knife, wounding him ever slightly, he staggers to the throne and sits down, laughing all the way
[Kyouki] STILETTO!!!! COME ON!
[Hikari] [[6Stiletto]] *holds out her hand and her sword flys back to her. She looks back and forth between Kyouki and GreyFox as she stands*
[Kyouki] NRP: Hit in the *NECK*, wounding him *SLIGHTLY*?
[Hikari] [[6Ariel]] *lays a hand on Garland's shoulder comfortingly*
[Messiah-GM] NRP:Like it cut him as it flew by, Grey is more than he appears in this game
[Kyouki] NRP: Ah...
* GreyFox points his sword at the two, "You had better leave while Im still feeling this scratch, now out!", he starts to laugh evilly
[Kyouki] COME ON!!!!
* Garland looks at Ariel
* GreyFox starts to count slowly, running the blade of his sword through his thumb and forefinger, smiling like a madman as he does
[Hikari] [[6Ariel]] *smiles down* "Things will be alright Garland."
[GreyFox] 1
[Hikari] [[6Stiletto]] *nods reluctantly and heads towards the exit*
[GreyFox] ...2.....................3........
* Kyouki heads out too.
* Garland gets up and hugs Ariel
* GreyFox stops his counting and shouts, "Guard!, fetch me a medic, and fetch me the minister to prepare some sort of bounty hunter's to chase after them.
[Kyouki] NRP: GreyFox seems quite insane...
[Hikari] [[6Ariel]] *strokes Garland's hair to calm the young prince, keeping a watchful eye until Kyouki returns*
[Messiah-GM] [---Narrator---] When all have reached the outside, the only obvious choice, escape by means of a large convoy

* Garland sits with his mother, sniffing

[Kyouki] I have a brother, in the hills... his estate would make a good place to stay.
[Hikari] [[6Ariel]] "They'll probally expect such a move... But I don't see any other options."
[Kyouki] Have you heard of Snipe?
[Hikari] [[6Ariel]] *thinks for a moment then nods*
[Hikari] [[6Stiletto]] *holds her arm* "...best to stay ammoung friends..."
[Kyouki] We could use a tactician like him... he makes a much better general than that... I can't even bring myself to say the name...
[Messiah-GM] [---Narrator---] They most travel to the estate of Ex-General Snipe, the best that ever lived, he was the trainer of GreyFox, although he stopped after GreyFox plotted againest him and took his position, he still is remebered as the Kingdom's mightiest general
[Messiah-GM] NRP:Must even.
[Snipe] NRP: Remember, Snipe's real name is John McCormick.  Just incase you'd like to use John instead of his military name, Snipe
[Kyouki] NRP: Okay.
[Messiah-GM] NRP:Yes, but all who remeber him will think only of Snipe, the greatest general who ever lived.
[Kyouki] Everyone, into the convoy.

[Messiah-GM] [---Narrator---] As the convoy rockets out of the city and into the hills, towards Snipe's estate, a young mercenary is hired by GreyFox to hunt them down, dead or alive, will Garland fight to regain his right to the throne, how will they figure a way to avoid GreyFox, all this and more, Next Session!
