Royal Guards Session 2: Closing In

[Diaz] Time: Day after the Guards checked in at the inn
[Diaz] Place: Fish and Chips Inn?
* RoyalGuard sits at the tavern in the Inn
* KainAshbone is asleep, snoring loudly enough for the whole inn to hear
*** Alicia is now known as Ran
[RoyalGuard] ...
* James drinks his coffee, reaching his hand out to pet Laddy
* Laddy is pet. ^-^
[RoyalGuard] NRP: ... that thing scares me.
[MiniGM] Elly: *walks in and sits down on Jame's lap*
[MiniGM] Hi James...
* Ran sits at a table, watching the Guards secretly.
[KainAshbone] ZzZzZzZzZ*snore*ZzZzZzZzZzZz*drool*ZzZzZzZzZz*snore*
* Diaz walks down some stairs and sits down next to Royal
[James] !?
[MiniGM] Elly: Don't act like we didn't have a great night last night..
* Laddy tilts his head, looking at Elly who sits on Jame's lap
[MiniGM] Elly: And once thiso morning..
[James] Excuse me!?
* RoyalGuard chuckles
[MiniGM] Elly: Is this how you treat all the ladies you make love to?
* RoyalGuard burst out laughing
[James] ... What?
[Diaz] ...*turns to Royal* Thats the first noise you've made since we've met..
[RoyalGuard] ...
* KainAshbone wakes up with a loud yelp, then yawns, gets up, and walks downstairs, smacks Royal on the back and takes a seat on the other side of him, wondering what the comotion is.
* RoyalGuard looks at him
* James pushes Elly off of him
[MiniGM] Elly: Don't you remember? I came back that night, we had some ale...talked...you took me to your room..
[MiniGM] Elly: Hey...Don't have to be rough..
[James] I did no such thing!
* KainAshbone orders his breakfast, a large mug of ale, and drinks heartily
[MiniGM] Elly: Now you deny it?! 
[Diaz] What a pig....he should learn how to treat his wenches..
[James] I deny it because I never did it!
* Laddy barks
[MiniGM] Elly: Yes you did!! 
[RoyalGuard] NRP: ...ya know, when everything reverts back to normal and Garland and Elayne remember this, they are going to be so embarrassed.
[James] Madam, you are drunk!
* KainAshbone chuckles, "Heh, you sure that was James...I had this strange dream you were in my room last night...maybe that was the dog..?"
[James] NRP: Shame it's not really happening, Ellys drunk.
[MiniGM] Elly: I am no such thing! I think sir, your the drunkard..
[Diaz] NRP: Shame Elly's not drunk..
* KainAshbone downs his ale and starts on another, looking to Elly, "The lady is not drunk James, I can tell*hiccup!*"
[James] Ah hah! But I have drunken very little, and I've not a regression of the effects of alchohol I would have had to have drunken to perform such an act!
[Diaz] *looks around the room*
* RoyalGuard drums fingers, watching everyone argue
[James] NRP: In mordern terms: I don't have a hangover.
[Ran] *looks at her drink quickly*
* KainAshbone turns to Royal, "Whatabout you old boy, how was your night?"
* Laddy barks again.
[RoyalGuard] ...
[MiniGM] Elly: 
* RoyalGuard does a shrug gesture
* RoyalGuard stands up
[MiniGM] Elly: Not everyone get's hangovers..I think you just don't want to admit that you paid for me...
* RoyalGuard walks past Ran toward a window
* KainAshbone bursts out laughing
[RoyalGuard] NRP: *spits out drink* Elayne's a slut!?
* Ran watches the RoyalGuard
[KainAshbone] Bahahaha, had to pay for your wench!
[James] You are quite looney. Good day.
[MiniGM] NRP: Different world, different people..
* James walks by Elly
[MiniGM] Elly: I'm insulted by such a pig as you...*walks up to him and slaps him*
[Ran] (Kyouki's almost sane in this...)
[Diaz] Hey....we gotta hurry up and get on our way peoples..
* Diaz pushes himself up
[Diaz] Aright Royal Guards...MOVE OUT!
* RoyalGuard walks out the door
* KainAshbone walks over to the window Ran is near and looks, out, looking down at her once or twice, then walking outside the door
[James] NRP: This isn't funny, Dias.
* MiniGM follows behind Royal
* Diaz follows behind Royal
* James takes the slap, just walking out
[MiniGM] NRP: Whats not funny?
* Laddy follows happily
* Ran looks back at Kain. "Yeeeees?"
[MiniGM] NRP: I never said it was Elayne...you guys did...
[James] NRP: It's not funny that you're claiming my character did things it didn't. That's bad GMing, really.
* KainAshbone walks out the door, waving to Ran, "Nothing me'lady, I was just admiring you beauty of course, Im sorry though, I fear I must go."
[MiniGM] NRP: No...it adds some texture to the soup..
[RoyalGuard] NRP: X1 does that all the time via Grave and Snipe.  Just take it in stride.
[James] NRP: Thats between you two.
[Diaz] Royal, we gotta 2 mile hike along this path before we reach the beautiful city of Liverpool, where the jewels reside.
[RoyalGuard] ...
[Ran] (*giggles, living near there*)
[Diaz] No need to be so excited.
[RoyalGuard] ...
[Ran] You're going to Liverpool?
* Diaz is already walkin down the path
* KainAshbone sighs and whines "2 miles, and no horses*looks to Ran*Yes me'lady, we are on a mission to Liverpool."
[Laddy] *bark, whine*
* KainAshbone turns and walks after Diaz
[Ran] You don't mind if I tag along, do you?
* RoyalGuard follows Diaz
* Laddy follows James as he follows the two.
[MiniGM] Beagle: *barks at Laddy*
* KainAshbone glances to Ran, "Of course not, we should surely except the company of such a beauty as you, come now, we are in a hurry."
* Ran follows Kain then.
[Diaz] NRP: AHH IT's GREEN LEGEND RAN!
[KainAshbone] NRP:*laughs*
[Ran] (Hey, it's not easy being green!)
[MiniGM] Beagles: *chases after Laddy barking loudly*
* RoyalGuard silently walks, never talking
* KainAshbone kicks the beagle, "Away with you welp."
[James] NRP: Am I going to be picked on this whole session?
[KainAshbone] NRP:AHH Kujo!
[MiniGM] Beagle: *yelps and then bites Kain's leg and runs off*
[MiniGM] NRP: The dog must dIE!!
[James] NRP: Answer me seriously.
[Diaz] I hope no one knows what we're doin here now.
[RoyalGuard] ...
[MiniGM] NRP: A lil..I just needed to add that one part in there..
* KainAshbone jumps up and down, "Blood Hell!, damn dogs and their damn teeth", he shakes it off and continues to walk next to Ran
* Laddy wimpers, keeping up with James
[KainAshbone] NRP:Bloody even.
[Ran] NRP: [Poppy] WOF.
[Diaz] *glances back seeing the new person* Crap....That bloody idiot Kain's brought a girl with him..
[SOUND]
* RoyalGuard glances back and smirks
[RoyalGuard] ...
* Ran pretends not to have heard anything.
* KainAshbone turns to Ran as he walks, "SO me'lady, what business do you have in liverpool?"
* Diaz is pretty far ahead with Royal
* James coughs
[MiniGM] *the sun rises into the sky as they head towards Liverpool, meeting only a few people on the road here and there*
[James] The land seems desolate of people..
[RoyalGuard] ...
[Ran] Well... I'm just a travelling merchant...
[Diaz] Probably because it's not often used? I took the least travelled path in case someone might be trailing us.
[Ran] NRP: That's a *REALLY* bad cover story, ne?
[Diaz] NRP: Now that you said it was...yeah
[Ran] . o O (Yeah. Me.)
[KainAshbone] A merchant is it, well, perhaps you may have something to dress this wound*points to bitten leg*
* James glances at Diaz
* Ran looks in her belongings...
[Diaz] Were almost there...
[James] Of course, it is just painfully obvious we'd not be caught up to or found at the inn we stayed at last night.
* RoyalGuard is a 6'2 guard with short cut redhair. His green eyes sparkle in the sun
[Diaz] Nope not right away.
[Diaz] ...*looks ahead seeing a group of people in a circle*...what's going on up there?
* Laddy sniffs the air, looking at the people
[RoyalGuard] ...
[MiniGM] People: Give us your money and you won't be killed!!
[Diaz] ...Trouble....
* RoyalGuard draws his sword
* Laddy growls
[RoyalGuard] ...
* RoyalGuard points it at the head person
* KainAshbone is a 5'11" swordsman, a large longsword slung over his back, he wears a simple green tunic over his leather trousers, a breastplate is his only armor, his black hair is cut short, he wears a large grey cloak, the hood down to show off his stunning features, blue eyes, with a near perfect face
* James takes his clamore from it's sheith
[SOUND]
[MiniGM] HeadGuy: *stops*...I advise you people just hurry on your way..
[Diaz] I don't think so...see my friend here has a problem with bullys..
* RoyalGuard nods slowly
[Diaz] He tends to go crazy..
* KainAshbone looks forward, pulling his longsword from the sheathe on his back, "Me'lady, stay here while we take care of these scum, they shalt not trouble you.", runs forward to stand behind Royal
* RoyalGuard nods a little faster
[MiniGM] HeadGuy: So bloody what?!
* RoyalGuard twirls sword in the air and slashes down in front of the guy, hoping to depants him
* Ran is a slender 5'8" girl with medium black hair, wearing a concealing green cloak (such that you can't see what's under it). Her eyes are blue (But she knows Samurai spirits! =^.~=)
[MiniGM] HeadGuy: *leaps back drawing his weaopn only to have his pants fall down* ...GET HIM!!!
* RoyalGuard grins
*** Hikari has quit IRC (Connection reset by peer)
*** Tatsu has joined #taw
[MiniGM] Thieves: *all 4 draw there rapiers*
[Ran] (WB!)
* KainAshbone moves off to the right, his sword masterfully pointed at the thieves
[KainAshbone] (WB)
* RoyalGuard stops twirling his sword
* RoyalGuard drops it on the ground
* James is 4'10", relatively short with a blue cloak. He has ice blue eyes and short well-kept brown hair.
* Ran keeps out of the fight, but places her hand on a concealed dagger.
* RoyalGuard grabs his pistol and fires it at the head guy
[MiniGM] HeadGuy: Guh...*gets shot in the arm*
* KainAshbone takes his sword in both hands, then dashes forward, leaping into the past the thieves, giving a slash at two as he flies by, and landing on the ground a few feet past them.
* RoyalGuard begins to pour some powder into the gun
[MiniGM] Thieves: *one leaps at Royal tackling him into the ground*
[KainAshbone] NRP:Into the air*
* RoyalGuard drops his pistol and the powder
[MiniGM] Thieve2: *brings up his rapier blocking Kain*
*** Tatsu is now known as Hikaryuu
* James stabs the theif that jumped on Royal in the back
[James] ....
[Diaz] Aright guys...*draws his Rapier* ATTACK!! *kicks Thieve1 in the face knockin him away*
* KainAshbone walks forward, deliviring a wide slash to thieve2
[MiniGM] Thieve1: *screams in agony* 
[MiniGM] HeadGuy: RUN!!! *him and the other 3 thieves run off*
* RoyalGuard stands up and retrieves his items
* James spins his claymore, sheithing it.
[James] NRP: BRB
* KainAshbone gives a feint chase for a second, then retracts and walks back to Ran, sheathing his sword as he steps close to her, "Did the lady enjoy that show?"
[Diaz] You ok Royal?
[Ran] You're so good...
[Ran] . o O (... they all survived. Damn.(
* RoyalGuard nods
*** Ran sets mode: +o Hikaryuu
* RoyalGuard turns to Ran and looks at her
[KainAshbone] *blushes*Of course my lady, only the best for the crown...er...I mean only the best come from England!
* RoyalGuard frowns and steps forward
[Ran] Oh, you're from England?
[Ran] . o O (Are these people out to steal the crown jewels?)
* RoyalGuard stops and bends down, grabbing some powder that fell at her feet from his struggle
* RoyalGuard stands up and stares at her
[KainAshbone] Of course, although I spent some time in France, learning swordsmanship from some of the best
[Ran] Ummm... hello...
[RoyalGuard] ...
* RoyalGuard turns and jogs down the path Diaz had them taking
[MiniGM] Oldman: *slowly gets up. He's in his old age* Thank you..
[Diaz] *smacks Kain across the back of his head* SHut up idiot...
* KainAshbone walks to the oldman, "Are you ok sir?"
* KainAshbone falls over with a yelp, "OWWW, what was that for..?"
[Diaz] Cuz your tellin her everything....moron...*turns to the old man* Yeah anytime...We'll escort you to Liverpool incase there anymore thieves*
* RoyalGuard can be seen in the distance
[Diaz] Kain he's your responsibilty..*walks ahead towards Royal*
* RoyalGuard looks around, stopping at a tree
* KainAshbone gets up and looks at Diaz, then to the old man, "Just follow me and the lady sir*gestures to Ran then walks off after Diaz*"
[Diaz] *speaks to himself* I'm gonna kill that idiot..
* Ran follows Kain, not at all looking annoyed she can't kill the thieves.
* KainAshbone notices Diaz mummering, "What, she is no harm, let the lady be."
* Diaz is ahead of Kain, not in hearing distance
[Ran] NRP: LOL
* Diaz is too busy talkin to himself and he runs into Royal
[RoyalGuard] ...
* RoyalGuard glares at Diaz
[Diaz] Sorry...Didn't see you.
[KainAshbone] NRP:*murmmers curses*
* RoyalGuard walks forward

* Diaz looks up

[Diaz] I can see the town from here...*points to a guard tower*
* RoyalGuard nods
[Ran] NRP: Heya
[Diaz] We're almost there and we'll just have to take them back...

* KainAshbone walks a bit closer to Ran, looking at her form a little, then staring at the town in the distance, "Happy to be here me'lady?"
[MiniGM] *Noises from City life can be heard as they approach, smoke rises from the buildings, a small castle can be seen at the center of town*
*** James has joined #taw
* Diaz walks ahead..
[Laddy] NRP: Um, back?
[Ran] Oh thankyou! . o O (Though I'd prefer you to split up once in a while...)
[Diaz] People, meet me at the Blazing Inn in 2 hours.
* RoyalGuard walks off into the town, vanishing into the crowds
* James nods
* Laddy barks
* KainAshbone looks to Diaz and nods, then looks to Ran, "Well, me'lady, I do not know my way around, would you mind being my guide for the evening?"
[MiniGM] Old Man: *glances at Diaz* Thank you for the escorting me here, I'll be on my way now..*starts walking into the city*
[Ran] Oh, I'd love to be! . o O (Yes, a chance to kill him and make it look like an accident...)
[Diaz] Your welcome...*eyes the old man as he passes and heads towards the center of the city*
[Ran] . o O (But shouldn't I find out what they're doing first?)
[Ran] What brings you here, anyway?
[RoyalGuard] NRP: ... talk about needing an attitude adjustment
[Ran] NRP: What can I say, she's psycho.
* KainAshbone takes her by an arm and leads her off into the city, "Nothing much..just guarding some precious...er...cargo from another merchant who hired us."
[MiniGM] *a kid bumps into Kain and starts crying*
[MiniGM] Kid: WAHHH!!!! *drowns out everythign he says*
[Ran] Oh, you... ...
* KainAshbone looks down to the kid, shouting, "CALM DOWN BOY, WHAT IS THE MATTER!"
* James stands outside the Inn with Laddy
[Ran] -_-
[MiniGM] Kid: *crys* I'm...*sniffles* lost...
* KainAshbone picks the child up, hoisting him on his shoulder above the crowd, "Do you see your mother anywhere?"
[MiniGM] kid: No...
[Ran] ...
* Ran stares at the ground.
* Diaz heads to the Castle gates and walks through showing a note to the guards as he walks by
[MiniGM] Kid: *sniffles then leaps off of Kains shoulder and runs off*
[Ran] ...
* KainAshbone looks at Ran, "Well that was strange, oh well, poor boy, shall we be off?", grabs her arm and walks further into the crowd, heading for the inn
* James nods to Kain and Ran
* Laddy trots over to Ran, sniffing
* KainAshbone looks at Ran, "Well, it appears we are here, do you have lodgings for the night?"
* Diaz walks into a room and talks to one of the men in there
[Ran] Well, I was going to stay at the inn...
[KainAshbone] Alright*grabs arm and walks in the door, sitting down at a large table and calling the serving wench*
[Laddy] NRP: Evil!
*** UO has joined #taw
[Diaz] Aright...I'll bring back the Royal Guards back tomorrow mornin to pick up the cargo. Good bye Prime Minister Sera
[Ran] . o O (Hrm... all we need is a brawl...)
*** Burncycle has quit IRC (Ping timeout)
[KainAshbone] NRP:Session, hey nova
[Diaz] Sera: Good bye. *Sits down*
[Ran] Royal Guards? Cargo?
* Diaz walks off and heads to the gates of the castle
[Diaz] NRP: *is no where near RAn!!!!!

[UO] NRP: Sera? Where!?

[RoyalGuard] NRP: *Blinks*

* KainAshbone orders three large bottles of wine and two glasses, handing one to Ran, and filling both, sipping his wine he asks, "SO, what things will you be selling while in Liverpool?"
[MiniGM] *In the Blazing Inn, several peoples are drinking near the barstand*
[Ran] Just various things I acquired on my travels...
[Ran] I'm always willing to trade, if you have anything of value...
* James sighs, sitting at the bar in the inn
[MiniGM] Man: *sits in one of the far corners eyeing James, and Kain*
[KainAshbone] Cant say that I do, sorry, you going to drink your wine?
[Ran] Oh, of course.
* Diaz walks into the Inn
* Ran starts to drink, waiting for a distraction to slip something into Kain's drink.
[Diaz] *looks at James* James, you seen Royal anywhere?
[James] No.
[Diaz] ....Aright...*walks over to Kain and Ran*
[Ran] Hello?
[Ran] Are you one of the merchant's guards?
* KainAshbone keeps his drink close by, staring into Ran's eyes with charming grace, not glancing away, "What is it Diaz?"
[Diaz] ....No...
[KainAshbone] Um, no Diaz is just along for the ride, yes, that is it.
[Ran] I see...
[Diaz] If you'll excuse us for a minute madam...*grabs Kain and drags him to off to the side*
* KainAshbone gets dragged, taking his cup with him
* James and Laddy just watch Kain and Diaz..
* Ran sighs.
* Diaz faces away from Ran
[KainAshbone] *whisper*Alright, what is it then?
[Diaz] What have I told you millions of times before?
* Ran tries to listen in.
* Diaz glances back at Ran
* Ran drinks her drink, looking innocent.
*** RoyalGuard sets mode: +o James
[KainAshbone] *whisper*God man, do you think I dont realize, give me some time, she isnt what she appears to be, and if Im going to find out who or what she is up to, I better act dumb.
[Diaz] *whispers* Sometimes I wonder if your really acting or not...
[RoyalGuard] NRP: Sephiroth: *Bursts into the room* I will kill you all!
* KainAshbone pats Diaz on the back and whispers in his ear, "Of course Im acting, I wont screw up...*glances to Seph*What the hell!"
[Ran] NRP: Yoda: Kill you I will!
[RoyalGuard] NRP: *smacks forehead*
* James orders a drinks, thinking this will take a while...
[Diaz] NRP: RoyalGuard: *punchs Sephi's lights out* No ticket....
[James] NRP: Unpluralize that.
[Diaz] NRP: *Strangles Kain*
[KainAshbone] NRP:Er...disregard that, tired, didnt see the NRP...
[RoyalGuard] NRP: *falls down laughing*
[KainAshbone] NRP:Im making some dumb mistakes...but Im going to finish this before I event think about sleep.
[MiniGM] *a group of four walk in one having a bandage wrapped around his shoulder*
[RoyalGuard] NRP: That thief gang!
[MiniGM] NRP: IT's a gimp..
* KainAshbone walks back to his seat across the table from Ran, "I hope you were not to lonely without me, sorry, he just wanted to ask me something about the town..."
[Ran] Oh, that's okay... what did he ask?
* KainAshbone pours another glass of wine, then sips at it slowly enough as not to get drunk, "Nothing, just wanted to know where the castle was, anyways, let us drink heartily and have a good time!"
[Ran] The castle?
[Diaz] NRP: I'm endin this soon, I gotta head out and work on my ar.
[KainAshbone] There is a small castle in the middle of town.
[Diaz] NRP: Car..
* James drinks what he ordered, giving laddy a fish
[RoyalGuard] NRP: Wind down your conversations since Part 2 is drawing to a close.
* Laddy eats it greedily
[James] NRP: what conversation?
* Ran tries to get Kain drunk so he'll spill the info.
[MiniGM] Groupof4: *sits down near James* And right when I was about to cut of his bloody head, one guy shot me!! He friggin shot me!!
[RoyalGuard] NRP: The conversation James isn't a part of.
* KainAshbone pours Ran's glass full again, "Drink up me'lady, this may be the last night we see each other", sips slowly, then stares into Ran's eyes, then sits back, smiling evilly
[MiniGM] Bartender: *laughs at the guy* Carter...you cease to amaze me sometimes..
* James lets a light "Heh" leering at the mand sitting next to him.
*** Kiki has joined #taw
*** ChanServ sets mode: +o Kiki
[MiniGM] Carter: What? Don't you believe me?!
[James] I bet you were robbintg them, too.
[Ran] . o O (Oh, I hope so...)
[MiniGM] Carter: *doesn't turn around* What would you kno..*spins around looking at James* w....YOUR ONE OF THEM!!! GET HIM BOYS! *draws his sword*
[RoyalGuard] Man in the corner: .o O (Hmmmm...)
* James draws his claymore
[James] Of course.
[Ran] . o O (This is working out better than I planned...)
* KainAshbone acts as if he wasnt a part of the fray, and continues to stare at Ran
* James raises his other arm, the gun Royal used in it, shooting him in the other arm.
[MiniGM] Carter: AHHHH!!!! *grabs it screamin in pain* 
* James slashes Carter across the shoulder/neck as he's stunned
[MiniGM] Bartender: That's it!! *pulls out a pistol and points it to James's head* Thats my friend there pal..
* Laddy jumps on the bartender
[MiniGM] Thieve1: *blocks James's attack*
[James] ...Hmph.
[James] Laddy, come.
* James walks out
[MiniGM] Bartender: *Grabs the dog and throws it out*
[James] Theives. Hilarious.
* Laddy hits the ground, but follows James out
[RoyalGuard] NRP: Sephiroth: *Stands before James* DIE!
* KainAshbone takes a sip of his wine, but lets it recede back into the glass, "Me'lady, are you not thirsty after such a "long" walk, you should drink to regain your strength!"
[MiniGM] Bartender: *Quickly tends to Carter's wounds* 
[Diaz] SESSION END!
