* Velocity spins the shuttle around and lands it, quickly lowering the ramp, pointing at Scott

* X2 walks into the hanger
[Kalinite] [kara] *puts on headphones and puts a new CD into a CD player, continuing to keep to herself
* Scott starts unloading the mech parts, putting them all in the back of the hangar.
[X2] Velocity...? Where's the rest of your team?
* Kyo`Yokuo shrugs as he walks off going past the hanger
* Velocity looks around
[Velocity] Well, uh..
[Velocity] Back at the factory?
* Scott waves to X2 as he heads back to the ship for another aprt.
[X2] ...Back at the factory? What happened?
[Velocity] ...Well, they ordered me to bring these mech parts back and get their mechs.
* X2 idly waves to Scott, then refocuses on Vel

* Kyo`Yokuo walks into the hanger and looks at them "whats goin' on?"
* Velocity looks around at the mechs that are currently empty
[Velocity] Wonder which ones I should grab.
*** Sharrethen has quit IRC (Ping timeout)

[Velocity] I'm picking up the team's mechs and taking them back to them.
[X2] The, uh, really good ones...
[Velocity] Which ones are the really good ones?
[Scott] Should we get mechs for ourselves, too?
[Velocity] I'm flying the Excalibur, you won't see me getting in one of those tin cans.
[X2] ...There aren't any mech techs around here, are there?
[Scott] Where's Slasher?
[Velocity] I'm not sure.
* Velocity stares at the mechs
* Kyo`Yokuo sighs
* Velocity points at Isolator II
[Velocity] Snipe flies that.
* Scott looks at the mechs too. "How hard can they be to pilot?"
* Velocity points at XenoGaia
[Scott] NRP] How big are these mechs?
[Velocity] I think that's Dias'.
[Velocity] NRP: Ever seen GW?
[Scott] NRP] So they're Mobile Suit - size?
[Velocity] NRP: Right.
[Scott] NRP] Are the cockpits in the head or something, or in the torso like in Gundam?
[Velocity] NRP: Depends on the mech.
* Velocity jumps into the Excalibur
* Velocity lifts it off the ground
* Velocity pulls down his visor and flies the Excalibur over Isolator II, grapping it and attaching it to the underside of the right wing.
[Kyo`Yokuo] Well....what is there for us to do.. *looks at X2*
* Velocity pulls the controls and grapples XenoGaia to the opposite wing.
* Scott watches.
[X2] Uh..
[Velocity] Comm: Well, anyone else coming?
[X2] You should probably go with him, they might need help.
[Diamondback] NRP: Aren't YOU a big help, Scott. *snickers*
[X2] NRP: Psst, Grave's mech!
[Velocity] NRP: Vel'
[Velocity] NRP: Vel's never seen him fly it.
* Kyo`Yokuo nods "comm: sure Ron"
[Scott] ...D'you think maybe there's a list somewhere of who's mecj us who's?
[Scott] Comm: Yeah, I'm coming too. D'you think there's a list of which mech belongs to who somewhere?
[Velocity] Comm: No...
* Velocity flies the Excalibur around the hanger area
[Velocity] Comm: Oh yeah, X2, these new mech prototypes are flown by psionics.
[X2] Just take a couple extras, jsut in case.
[X2] ...Psionics?
[Velocity] Comm: Right.
[Kalinite] NRP: VR works fine for me.
* Scott blinks. "Hey, I hae psionic powers! 'zat mean I can pilot one?"
* Velocity mutters a few choice words over the comm.
* Kyo`Yokuo blinks
[Kyo`Yokuo] You are not the only one Scott
[Scott] If we have any left over, I mean.
[Velocity] Comm: It's the ENEMIES mech!
* Velocity picks up Angel of Death II under the belly of Excalibur
[Scott] I meant, if we reverse-engineer and...
* Velocity lowers the ramp over Kyo and Scott
[Scott] Erg, nevermind.
[Velocity] If you're getting on, you better do it.
* Scott runs on.
* Kyo`Yokuo laughs at Scott as he gets on
* Velocity closes the ramp
[Scott] NRP] Player's mistake. I got what was being talked about mixed up.
* Velocity flips the Excalibur upside down and flies out
* Kyo`Yokuo laughs as he stands upside down
* Velocity pulls a lever, throwing them into hyperspace
* Scott walks over to a window and looks outside. "I wonder why hyperspace looks like this?"
* Kyo`Yokuo walks over to Ron and sits on the co-poilt seat and straps up.
* Velocity seems to be asleep while piloting, the visor covering his eyes
* Kyo`Yokuo rases a brow as he hears the heavy breathing "Ron?"
[Velocity] Zzzz.
[Kyo`Yokuo] Ron wake up
[Kyo`Yokuo] Where are we heading..?
[Velocity] zzzz.
* Scott walks up to the front, just looking at the controls. Any clue where the autopilot's going?
[Scott] NRP] Second sentence was NRP.
[Velocity] NRP: Nope, no clues.
* Kyo`Yokuo flips a few switchs to check where they are heading
[Velocity] GM: *the destination is just a bunch of coords, no name*
* Kyo`Yokuo nods as he makes sure that they are heading in the right direction
* Scott takes a seat and watches Kyo.
[Scott] Are we headed back to the factory?
[Kyo`Yokuo] I guess... 
[Scott] Any clue what our ETA is?
* Kyo`Yokuo punchs a few buttons to check

[Kyo`Yokuo] WEll we are moreless there. get ready to come out of hyper space in 52 seconds
* Velocity suddenly places his hand over the control panel
* Scott takes his helmet off to scratch an itch, then puts it back on.
* Kyo`Yokuo looks at where Ron's hand hit
[Scott] NRP] Is coming out of hyperspace something we should have our seatbelts on for?
[Velocity] NRP: Usually.
* Scott puts on his seatbelt, then.
* Velocity reaches over and pulls the lever, dropping them out of hyperspace
* Velocity places his hands over the controls and begins to fly, with hand motions, the Excalibur towards the planet, still upside down
[Kyo`Yokuo] good to see you are awake again
[SOUND]
* Velocity grunts
* Velocity pauses
[Velocity] We have 5 gears launching from the planet.
[Scott] NRP] A gear is a 'mech?
[Velocity] NRP: Yes.
[Kyo`Yokuo] i take it that is a bad thing
[Velocity] Well, we can't manuever well with three large mechs attached to us.
* Scott thinks.
* Velocity debates trying to outrun them by aiming for the planet.
[Kyo`Yokuo] damn.. hmm... *thinks* should me and..scott... get into two and you poilt the shuttle with the third?
[Velocity] I'm sure the mechs are password protected.  You probably couldn't get into it.
* Kyo`Yokuo shrugs
[Kyo`Yokuo] True..
[SOUND]
* Velocity throws them into a crazy spin, causing everything inside to go 'round and 'round.
[Velocity] 5 Mechs: *Try to fire at the crazy spinning shuttle, but can't hit it*
[Velocity] Okay, need plan...need plan...
[Kyo`Yokuo] where is everyone?
[Velocity] On the planet.
* Velocity keeps spinning them, trying to move towards the planet, but the spinning is making it hard to keep on course.
[Scott] Are we near enough to the factory to drop the mechs and hope they get them? Can we reach them on the COM?
[Velocity] Probably not.
[Velocity] But we could try and drop the mechs.
[Velocity] IF we get on the planet.
* Kyo`Yokuo nods
[Velocity] 5 mechs: *hit the Excalibur*
[Velocity] Gah...
[Velocity] Shields down.
[Scott] NRP] Physically or with weapons or what?
[Velocity] NRP: Weapons...ramming isn't a good idea.
[Kyo`Yokuo] yay... I`ll see if i can put up a psy shilde around the shuttle.. *does so*
[Scott] NRP] Are we in the atmosphere yet?
[Velocity] NRP: Nope, space.
[Scott] I wonder if I can project my shield? I never thought to try it...
[Velocity] 5 Mechs: *activate jammers that stop Kyo's attempt*
* Velocity stops spinning them and flies towards the planet, still getting shot.
[Kyo`Yokuo] Damn.. no luck..
[Velocity] Grr.
[Scott] Do we have any weapons on the shuttle we can fire back with?
[Velocity] Yes, but I'm too busy to worry about them right now.
* Velocity jerks the shuttle to the side and narrowly avoids being shot.
* Kyo`Yokuo nods as he aims them at the mechs
[Scott] Maybe one of us could-- yeah.
* Kyo`Yokuo tries firing the weapons at the mechs
[Velocity] Mechs: *dodge the attacks quickly easily*
[Velocity] quite
* Velocity enters the atmosphere, the mechs right behind them.
[Scott] Maybe if they keep having to dodge, they won't be able to shoot at us as easily?
[Velocity] A plan.
[Kyo`Yokuo] Is there any thrmo mines on here?
* Velocity spins them out of the way of some shots
[Velocity] No.
[Kyo`Yokuo] damn...
[Velocity] Mechs: *shoot the shuttle again, since they aren't returning the fire*
[Velocity] Gah!
[Velocity] Shields almost gone.
* Kyo`Yokuo reruts some power to the shelds as he tries frieing back at them again
[Velocity] Mechs: *Begin to dodge, shifting back and forth*
* Kyo`Yokuo tries to aim at where they are going to be when they dodge
* Velocity flies through the blue sky
[Velocity] Mechs: *Seem to sense the attack and dodge it*
* Velocity spots the monsterous factory ahead.
[Scott] How many weapons do we have?
* Kyo`Yokuo does some crazy patter then changes it quickly
[Kyo`Yokuo] *pattern
[Velocity] Not many and I don't want to try Slasher's special gadgets.
[Scott] Special gadgets?
[Kyo`Yokuo] What are they??
[Velocity] Scanning the factory now.
[SOUND]
[Velocity] Locked onto their location.
* Velocity stops the Excalibur over the factory, wondering.
* Velocity notes the mechs are closing in
[Kyo`Yokuo] Good.. *keeps firing at the mechs*
* Velocity pulls a lever and drops all three mechs. They crash through the roof and land inside the factory, disappearing from their eyes.
[Velocity] Package delivered.  Lets go.
* Velocity hits the boosters, flying away.
[Kyo`Yokuo] Great job Ron.
* Velocity notes they are being chased
[Velocity] We're not out of this yet.
[Scott] What exactly did we do to fight the mechs before?
[Kyo`Yokuo] i know that... *is still doing crazy patterens with the firing*
[Velocity] We used Snipe.
* Velocity spins the shuttle and drops them into a forest
[Velocity] HOLD ON!
* Velocity weaves in and out of trees
[Velocity] Mechs: *drop in, following them, still firing*
[Scott] NRP] How big is the shuttle?
[Velocity] NRP: Too big to fly in a forest.
* Velocity watches the wing smash a tree down
[Velocity] Shhiiit
* Velocity hits a few more trees
[Scott] NRP] That's what I thought, but how--oh.
[Kyo`Yokuo] Damn!
* Velocity goes sideways, the wing trailing the ground now
[Velocity] Hold togeeether1
[Kyo`Yokuo] Shhhhhiiiiiiiitttttt!
[Scott] ..........
* Velocity pulls the shuttle up and they pop out of the forest, spinning. A bird's nest falls against the viewport
[Velocity] Mechs: *only 4 emerge after them*
[Scott] ......Hey, we lost one!
* Velocity flies along the grass
[Velocity] Yeah, but I'm running out of ideas here.
[SOUND]
* Velocity notices the area is turning to a desert
[Velocity] Hrm.
[Kyo`Yokuo] Make a dust stor,
[Velocity] How?
[Kyo`Yokuo] strom too
* Velocity flies along the sand, kicking up sand.
[Kyo`Yokuo] uses the bosters but go in a circle.. that might do it..
[Velocity] Hold on then,.
[Kyo`Yokuo] then fly out of there..
* Velocity starts doing a sharp circle, over and over, trailing the sand after them.
[Velocity] Mechs: *smashes into the sand wall, but stay in the middle, firing at them*
* Velocity keeps going around, lost in sand himself
[Velocity] Uh, which way is out?!
* Kyo`Yokuo fires at them as they go around and around "we have ANY booms on here?"
[SOUND]
[Scott] Up should be out]
[Velocity] I'm not about to use Slasher's weaponary!
*** Cleopatra has quit IRC
* Velocity jerks the controls straight up
[Scott] WHy not?
[Velocity] Too risky!
[Scott] What's so bad about Slasher's weaponry?
* Velocity flies out of the sand and spins in the air
* Velocity levels the shuttle out and flies through the desert, three mechs following them.
* Velocity flies over a canyon.
[Velocity] Talk to Slasher sometime and you'll see.
[Velocity] Three mechs: *open fire, hitting the wing of the Excalibur*
[Kyo`Yokuo] SHIT!, fly into the canyon. 
* Velocity loops backwards and enters the canyon.
* Velocity notices just how tight this canyon is.
[Velocity] Greaaaaat!
* Velocity skids the wings on both sides, being forced to fly sideways
[Kyo`Yokuo] Good...

[Velocity] Mechs: *loop back and follow, still firing*
[SOUND]
[Kyo`Yokuo] me fires at the walls ahead of the mechs
* Kyo`Yokuo fires at the walls ahead of the mechs
[Velocity] Mechs: *skillfully dodge, but not so easily as before*
* Velocity is forced to do a sharp L turn
* Kyo`Yokuo keeps fires at the side after the Lturn
[Kyo`Yokuo] *side of the canyon
[Velocity] Mech 1: *smashes into the broken walls*
*** Diamondback has quit IRC (Meh.)
[Velocity] Mech 2-3: *follow them, still firing*
[Kyo`Yokuo] Ok ron get us out of here
* Kyo`Yokuo still fires at the walls and at them
* Velocity flies of the canyon, panting
[Velocity] Mechs: *follow them*
* Velocity flies across the desert
[Velocity] Next idea?
[Scott] Any overhanging rock formations we can blast loose and have fall on--guess not anymore...
* Velocity passes some mountains
[Kyo`Yokuo] fly us around the moutains.. *still fires at the mechs*
* Velocity loops aroudn the mountain.
[Velocity] We can't keep playing like this.
[Kyo`Yokuo] I know..
* Kyo`Yokuo looks to see how snow covered it is
[Velocity] NRP: *it's not, just a desert mountain*
* Velocity gets shot again
[Velocity] Dammit.

[Scott] Finally! So, what do they do?
* Kyo`Yokuo presses one hopeing it will get at least on of the mechs
* Velocity slams against his seat as the Excalibur comes to a stop
[Scott] Uhoh, that one stopped us. What's the next one do?
[Kalinite] *Kara eats milk and cookies back on origin
[Scott] ...I hope he didn't pur in a self-destruct and not tell us...
* Velocity notes that the shuttle is glowing.
[Kyo`Yokuo] Fun...
[SOUND]
[Velocity] Our energy level is increasing...
[Velocity] Excalibur: *unleashes a massive wave energy, blowing up the mechs and half the mountain*
[Velocity] GAH!
[Kyo`Yokuo] Eep
[Scott] Wow! That sure did it!
* Velocity notes they have no power left.
[Kyo`Yokuo] I`m sure there must be some more power cells around here...
* Velocity watches as they fall
[Velocity] BRACE YOURSELVES.
[Velocity] Excalibur: *bounces off the ground and skids to a stop, throwing up dust*
* Velocity pushes the visor up
* Kyo`Yokuo blinks...
[Velocity] I told you his toys were too risky!
* Velocity looks at the falling pieces of the mountain
[Kyo`Yokuo] yea...
[Scott] say We're alive, areen't we?
[Scott] ....Uh-oh...
[Scott] At least we ditched the mechs.
* Kyo`Yokuo gets out of his seat. as he tries to put up a shilde around them from the falling rocks

* Velocity looks as the Excalibur slowly repowers itself
[Velocity] Looks like we're just going to have to relax for awhile.
* Kyo`Yokuo nods
[Kyo`Yokuo] Well we are still here and there are no more mechs... *looks out the windows* after us...i hope
[Velocity] Knowing Wraith luck?  We have 2 minutes.
* Kyo`Yokuo nods
[Scott] Until we're recharged?
* Velocity stretches
[Velocity] No, until more enemies show up.

* Kyo`Yokuo sits back in the chair and checks his weapons
* Velocity opens the door up and hops down, standing in the sand.
* Velocity shields his eyes as he scans the area.
[Kyo`Yokuo] Well, how many are coming?
[Velocity] Nothing.
* Kyo`Yokuo falls out of his seat and the gets back up and walks outside, doing a scan himself
[Kyo`Yokuo] Wow.. you are right..
[Velocity] GM: *scan shows nothing is coming*
*** Sierra` has quit IRC (G'night all!)
[Kyo`Yokuo] hmm... maybe its 5 mintues then..
[Velocity] Their clocks could be off...
[Kyo`Yokuo] yea
* Scott gets out of his seat. "D'ya think, since they use psionics, they might be good at detecting psionics use?
* Velocity feels a hot breeze blow.
[Velocity] Probably.
[Kyo`Yokuo] yep
* Velocity taps foot.
[Velocity] Okay, maybe the others destroyed the rest of the gears.
* Kyo`Yokuo looks at his watch "yea i think you are right. its been almost 5 minutes now.."
[Velocity] Well, *smirks* That's good.
* Velocity hops back into the shuttle.
[Velocity] Gear: *suddenly comes flying towards them*
[Kyo`Yokuo] SHIT!
[Kyo`Yokuo] Hows the Shuttles power doing?! *he hopes into the shuttle*
[Velocity] Gear: *lands*
[Velocity] It's only 60%...we're going to have to try and stop it
* Velocity checks his pistol.
* Velocity walks towards the door.
[Scott] say We're not gonna stop a mech with a pistol...
[Kyo`Yokuo] uep
[Kyo`Yokuo] *yep
* Velocity hops out
[Velocity] Gear: *aims it's rifle at Velocity*
* Kyo`Yokuo walks out inviasble for the most part. he tries to walk behind the mech
* Velocity dives to the side when the mech fires, blowing a hole in the ground
[Velocity] GAh!
* Velocity fires, his shots bouncing off harmlessly.
* Kyo`Yokuo goes to climbe up the side of the mech hopeing to be unnotced
[Velocity] Mech: *detects Kyo and electrocutes him off*
* Scott decides it's probably not the best idea to stay inside the shuttle at the mometn, incase it gets blown up.
* Velocity rolls out of the way of more shots
[Kyo`Yokuo] Owie...
[Velocity] I can't hurt it!
[Velocity] Gear: *seems to be taunting them*
* Kyo`Yokuo turns into a falcon befor hiting the ground and flies up to the head of the mech
* Scott runs out of the shuttle, activating his cloaker beforehand so as to be invisible...

[Velocity] Uh, guys?  Do something...like fast!

* Kyo`Yokuo turns back into himself. but this time with larg wings out of his back. he changes his right arm into angel arms and fires right at the head of the mech, moseless point blank
[Velocity] Gear: *targets Vel with it's missiles*
[Velocity] Gear: *Steps back, but only seems to be partially damaged*
[Velocity] Gear: *reaches up to grab Kyo*
* Velocity dives behind a rock
* Kyo`Yokuo flaps his wings as he nimble moves to the side and out of the grasp of the mech as he fires again at the head of the mech
[Velocity] Gear: *steps back, smoking some now*
* Scott looks at the gear. Any noticeable points where armor might not be covering it as much?
[Velocity] NRP: Fraid not.
[SOUND]
[Velocity] Gear: *taragets Kyo with it's missiles*
* Kyo`Yokuo eeps as he flies xloser to the mechs's head, firing a more charged shot
[Kyo`Yokuo] *closer
[Velocity] Gear: *slides back again*
* Scott starts charging his hunter rifle, and flies upwards...
* Kyo`Yokuo keeps moving with it so the mech will hit itself if it fires the missles as he still fires at the mechs head
* Scott is using psionics to fly, so might be detected...
[Velocity] Gear: *fires the missiles instead at ... Scott*
[SOUND]
* Kyo`Yokuo pulls out his scater lasers and fires at the missles as well as the mech with the angel arms "Scott!"
* Scott tries top fly out of the way... Is he fast enough to just dodge? if not, he fires some shots at the missiles, one of them charged.
[Velocity] Missiles: *explode, sending everything back*
[Velocity] Gear: *falls over*
[Scott] NRP] So am I fast enough to just dodge them, or not? For future reference.
* Kyo`Yokuo falls next to the gears head "OW!" he charges a blast and fires it right at the head
* Kyo`Yokuo also uses the scater lasers
[Velocity] NRP: Not.
[Velocity] Gear: *explodes*
* Kyo`Yokuo flies back, moving throught the sand
* Velocity stands up from behind the rock, looking at the ruins of the gear.
* Scott holds his shield towards the mech, but is probably sent flying some distance.
* Scott tries to regain control of his flight ASAP.
* Kyo`Yokuo stlowly stands up and hobbles towards the others a grin on his face
[Kyo`Yokuo] *slowly
* Velocity laughs
[Velocity] WHOOO!
* Kyo`Yokuo hopes its not another gear
* Velocity hops into the shuttle, seeing it's ready to go

* Garland mutters to himself in his own language, trying to put together a battle plan

[Dominator] We need to prevent that, but it's not like they've left us very many options
* Garland looks up
[DeathStar] Of course not.  Either go through them or back up.
[Garland] Hm.
[Garland] Not an easy situation.

* DeathStar blows out some air, tapping his finger against a desk, obviously irritated.

[Dominator] We could punch through a weak spot in the Tsivrixsh fleets and head for a sector with a minimum Tsivrixsh presence... assuming we could find a weak spot.
[DeathStar] That wouldn't make a statement.  IF we could blow up a fleet, here and now, more people would be tempted to join us because we'd actually be a threat.
[Garland] That's a big if, Dad.
[Dominator] True.
* DeathStar glances at Garland briefly, but his face remains hidden of emotion, a talent he picked up over the years.
[Dominator] Of course, taking down a Tsivrixsh fleet has never been an easy thing... but you're right that we need to inspire others to have confidence in our abilities... if we're to win this war
[DeathStar] You know, an old battle plan of yours comes to mind, Dominator.
* Dominator raises an eyebrow
[Dominator] Which plan do you have in mind?
* DeathStar sits down in a chair and slides over to a screen
* Garland was lookign between them when he said that.
[DeathStar] Back when we were fighting Doppler's army, you came up with a diversion.  Putting most of ships straight at the enemy, that caused them to be distracted by the large force, while a smaller one came at them from the side.
[Garland] Dad, you said something about a weak point?
* Garland looks at Dom
[DeathStar] (ships = forces)
[Garland] I have an idea.
[Dominator] Ahh, yes... *thinks back* That could work here. The Tsivrixsh would never expect it
* Garland looks brings up the display
* Dominator turns to Garland
[Dominator] Hmm?
[Garland] Ever crack open a nut? 
[Garland] Once you get through...
* Garland studies for a weak point
[DeathStar] GM: *There is no weak points present in the fleet's formation*
[Garland] Hell, perhaps we could use the house of cards effect....
[Garland] Hrm...
[Garland] We need a distraction to draw the fighters off to the side...
* Garland points to the farthest out ship
[DeathStar] With about a 1,000 ships there, drawing off fighters from the side won't exactly work.
[Garland] Then we take that out.
* Garland glances back
[DeathStar] They'll launch a couple hundred mechs, drive back the ships, and remain in formation.
[Garland] Right... forgot what ship we're on...
* Garland looks up, remembering the Emerald Sword
[Dominator] As Death Star suggested, sending a large point at what the Tsivrixsh perceive as an important spot, while launching a smaller fleet at another spot, could work
[Dominator] Still... it would entail a large risk.
[DeathStar] Well, if we don't get that planet off our backs, we won't fair well.  To break free, then hit and run on them until we get them backed up, would be advantagous
[Garland] Gureilla (NRP: SP on that...) tactics could work, but not good for morale.
[DeathStar] More of a Wraith tactic than one for a large fleet, true...
* DeathStar leans back in his seat
[Garland] Well, it might work, though.
[DeathStar] Only for a while.  They'll call in reinforcements to get behind us.
[DeathStar] Then squash us in the middle.
* Dominator nods, thinking
[Garland] If we let them...
* Garland studies the hologram
* Garland leans towards it
[DeathStar] Anyway, our main concern should be getting that planet off our backs.
[Garland] Alright, show me your weak point....

* Garland looks to see if the fleet contains a flag ship or command vessel
[Dominator] Using the planet as an area for a diversion would probably fool them, but... the diversionary force would be hard-pressed to escape
[DeathStar] GM: *it does at that, in the center, a Warlock class*
[Garland] In the center...
* Garland scratches his chin
[DeathStar] Yeah, General Tvavron's ship.
[Garland] He's going to die this day if we're to live.
* Garland studies it's size
[DeathStar] Rumor has it that he wants to contact us.
[Dominator] Warlock class...
[DeathStar] Second biggest class in the fleet.
[Dominator] Contact us? *raises eyebrow*
[Dominator] I've never known the Tsivrixsh as being ones to parley, let only bargain
* Garland narrows his eyes
[Garland] He could have hailed us on the comm.
[DeathStar] Heard the Wraiths blew up one from the inside, but we'd never get a chance for us to get inside.
[DeathStar] I think he's more interested in our strength before talking.  I mean, if he can beat us, why not do it?  If we pose a problem, talk to us.
[Dominator] Hmm, interesting.
[Garland] So let's give him something to worry about.
[Dominator] Somehow I doubt we would end up with a situation very desirable from our point of view
[Dominator] Yes, that's just what we need to do, Garland
[DeathStar] Never know, I looked into what records I could on the HoloNe.  He's supposed to be a very strick, honorable warrior.

* Garland sits on the table
[Garland] We could do one of two things.
[Dominator] Interesting. Though... We could hopefully count out "dishonorable" actions like a double-cross from him then, but...
[Garland] One of them I don't condone in the least, but it might work.
* Dominator motions for Garland to continue
[Garland] Firstly you could.. ahem, I hate putting myself on a pedastle, to talk him out of this confrontation... 
[Garland] Or... we could do something I'm only suggesting for the safety of our men.
* Garland crosses his arms and looks down
[Dominator] ...
[Garland] Attack the command vessel directly.
* Dominator has an idea of where Garland's leading
[DeathStar] Out of the question on the last one.
[Garland] Break the gentlemen's laws.
[Dominator] Well, obviously getting close to the command vesel would normally be nearly impossible.
[Garland] I'm not saying just the command vessel.
[Garland] Anything non-combat.
[Dominator] Plus, we may end up destroying a potential ally (and I use the term loosely) and replacing him with a more... sadistic leader
[Garland] Though I don't condone it.
* DeathStar stands up, pacing the floor.
[Dominator] Tricking the command vessal into a vulnerable position wouldn't exactly make us look like heroes...
[DeathStar] You know, the key to winning this war may be to understand how the Tsivrixsh think.  I mean, we can't expect them to be evil.  Only those in power are, kinda like Cran was for a time.  And Spade after him.
* DeathStar sighs and crosses arms
[Garland] I doubt this Tsivrixish would be on our sides, I believe he just wants to win without cheating.
[DeathStar] Thus, I won't do something dishonorable.
[Dominator] True. Most are probably just doing their jobs... Attempting to hold together and expand an empire
[DeathStar] So far I have found only 4 cases of mass genocide on a planet.  Earth and Parnel are two of those.
[Dominator] Are there any Tsivrixsh fleets of minimal size near worlds we are hoping will join up with us?
* Garland nods
[Dominator] Obviously, the best way to make new friends would be to get a Tsivrixsh fleet out of their backyards
[DeathStar] Hard to say.  I don't know half their fleets locations are.
[Garland] It was only a risky window. I'm glad we're not doing the latter of my idea.
* Garland looks to the side at the mention of Parnel
[Dominator] Interesting. Earth and Parnel resisted the empire more than most worlds as well... Earth became something of an example of a world "defeating" the empire
* DeathStar decides to to tell his reasoning behind Parnel's attack.

[DeathStar] In most cases, the Tsivrixsh take over planet and turn it into a military state.
[Dominator] Well... I'd prefer to attack a Tsivrixsh fleet near a disputed sector. It'd be easier to defeat than one in a core sector, and more likely bring us new allies. But it's a fairly predictable course of action

[DeathStar] If a planet aligns with them willingly, they usually let them conduct business as usual, like Jarivan. 
[Dominator] The more willingly a planet joins, the better it fares in the empire's Hierarchy

[Garland] .... We should free Parnel, they're far out of the way and it'd take a lot of time for reinforcments to arrive.

[DeathStar] Actually, there would be no sense in freeing Parnel.
[Garland] Of course now's not the time to be talkng about aht, my appologies...

[DeathStar] I sent spies into the matter.  They used every known poison, harzardous material, and biological weaponary they could on the planet.  They basically wanted it gone, totally wiped out.  Nothing left.  They were there to exterminate and kill.  
[DeathStar] They were afraid of more...like you.

[DeathStar] Your abilities, your powers.  You, Yeger, Di'Mantha, Kilath...you all had amazing talents that they were afraid of.  Imagine a whole planet being able to do what you four could.  IT could be disasterous.
* Dominator glances at DS
[Dominator] So they decided to "eliminate" the problem... *growls*
* Garland clenches his fist
[DeathStar] A direct order from Shretrav herself.
* Garland narrows his eyes
[DeathStar] I don't even know if the Emperor knew.
[Dominator] Garland... it's no more your fault than it is mine or Death Star or any reploid or human's fault that Earth was so horribly... scarred... by the Tsivrixsh.
* Garland suddenly has an incredibly forboding feeling around him
[Dominator] Shretrav holds that much power...?
[DeathStar] She's 3rd in command of the entire empire.
[Dominator] From what I understand she's firmly in the Emperor's camp... Along with the higher ranking High Council members...
* Garland shakes it off
[DeathStar] The High Council was killed, it seems, by "us".
[Dominator] True, I just would have thought that... something so extreme would have required the Council's approval...
[Dominator] or at least the Emperor's approval
[DeathStar] A bombing killed all but Shretrav, the 2nd Council, and the first council member.
[Dominator] ... Why do I doubt we'd be so lucky naturally?
[DeathStar] We'd never get close enough to the homeplanet to do such a thing.
[Garland] The Cheire probably won't be killed off so easily. Different biologies... and... some... like Yeger, are out there...?
[Garland] I need a minute...
* Garland walks out of the control room
* DeathStar nods.
[Dominator] So the Emperor solidifies his hold on power, reducing the chance of a coup by more mild-tempered Councilers, and we get further discredited in Tsivrixsh public opinion? Wonderful.
[DeathStar] Bingo.
[Dominator] Garland... *cuts off though, knowing Garland needs his space*

[Dominator] If we can't defeat the Tsivrixsh Empire... who knows how many more tragedies like Parnel and Earth will happen...

[Dominator] Our main advantage being that the Empire seems to have a talent for making enemies of most everyone besides themselves... but... with their size, it's hardly a sizeable advantage
[DeathStar] I know if we were to all rise up against them, we'd could win.
[Dominator] That's a good question, but... beyond perhaps stirring up some domestic problems, I don't think either of his councillers would bring a change of heart to the Empire
[Dominator] So do I, but their empire is naturally fairly united... the rest of the worlds aren't...
[DeathStar] Who ordered the attack on Earth?  Maybe Xevil did...
[Dominator] They have their own feuds, their own aspirations...
[Dominator] Probably Xevil I'd think...
[Garland] Their own flaws, too.
* Garland leans against the doorway.
* DeathStar glances at Garland.
[Dominator] He was no doubt embarresed by his and the Elder's failures...
[Dominator] though he still managed to get on the High Council
* Dominator turns to Garland and nods
[Dominator] That's why we need to inspire them.
[DeathStar] Xevil perhaps the only Tsivrixsh who had the ability to become the most powerful creature in the galaxy.  
[Garland] Better.
[Dominator] Well... at least that's not a problem anymore.
[Garland] They think we're nothing.
[Dominator] And all this brings us back where we started... to the maps.
[Garland] We can use that.
[Dominator] Yes and we have. It's enabled us to survive, but...
[Garland] Expecially on people like Shretrave with inferiority complexes so strong he hardly tries.
[DeathStar] NRP: Shretrav.
[DeathStar] NRP: And it's a she.
[Garland] NEP: I know, I was just too lasy to fix.... and I know it's a she!
[Dominator] The Emperor obviouly has no love for us, but he's not willing to weaken his core defenses to try to wipe us out for good...
[Garland] NRP: DISLEXIC!
[DeathStar] With around 100,000 ships, who would?
[Dominator] NRP: Dyslexic.
[Garland] NRP: .....

[DeathStar] GM: *the simulator, unfortantly, can't give proper scenarios with the size of the enemy, but there's a 60% of being destroyed on the good guy's side*
[DeathStar] Whatever we decide on, we'll need to move on it...tomorrow.
[Dominator] Right. There's no time for hesitation.
[Dominator] It's better to act desively and act incorrectly than not to act at all... Certain destruction versus possible destruction.
