Session 143:The Psionic Wars Part III

[Snipe] Location: Mysterious Planet's Surface, Near Excalibur
[Snipe] GM: All comms are out and no contact can be made above.
[Snipe] GM: Now our guest narrator shall begin.
[Dominator] Narrator: In 2181, 1000 humans were genetically altered under the supervision of John Elder and several other prominant scientists.
[Dominator] Narrator: As these altered humans matured, they developed enhanced physical abilities, but their primary new powers were... psionics
[Dominator] Narrator: They became known as the Enhanced. Together they are psionically "linked" in a collective, which has grown over time
[Dominator] Narrator: Over time, they have scattered themselves around the galaxy, sticking mostly toward the areas under the influence of Earth.
[Dominator] Narrator: Thus, their network of information has grown, since the Enhanced collective has only once been disrupted... when the Tsivrixsh conquered Earth, cutting off all the enhanced remaining on Earth.
[Dominator] Narrator: The Enhanced living on Earth suffered casualities, but fared better than most of their human brethen... and now they have been reunited with the rest of the collective.
[Dominator] Narrator: The Enhanced have rarely taken political or military action in their lifespan. Instead, they've gathered information, learning and growing...
[Dominator] Narrator: Their goals have so far not been revealed. Some wonder if they know them themselves, but now...
[Dominator] Narrator: All the remaining Enhanced have heard the psionic "call" issuing from the mysterious planet... and most have responded to it.
[Dominator] Narrator: Their unity has so far remained mostly intact... but the nearer they get to the temple... the more that unity begins to dissintegrate.
[Dominator] Narrator: The psionic call of the temple has been echoed and amplified by their collective, making it difficult for any Enhanced to resist it... without severing their link to the collective, at least for awhile.
*** Megami has quit IRC (Killed (NickServ (GHOST command used by Seiren)))
[Dominator] Narrator: One thing is clear... The Enhanced will not rest, until one of them has the power hidden inside the temple.
[Dominator] Narrator: Even if it means fighting other psionics or humans... or even themselves
[Dominator] Narrator: What will happen next... remains to be seen.
[Snipe] GM: Thank you, Narrator.  We now return to our heroes....
[Snipe] NRP: You're as bad as that DBZ narrator!
[Snipe] NRP: Give half the plot away in 5 minutes!
[Dominator] NRP: Heh heh
* Snipe rubs his back
[Snipe] Okay, gang, Kyo told me something interesting, before he went back to help Ron fix the Excalibur with Scott.  Do you notice how the planet seems to be emitting this power?
[Dominator] NRP: Will Snipe defeat the evil Enhanced... Find out on the next episode of The... Alien... Wars!
[Ripple] NRP: Not as bad, but it's all like: FREIZA IS DEAD! [blah blah blah] AND FREIZA RETURNS!
* Dominator nods

[Snipe] NRP: Go Dom!
* Diamondback nods
* Snipe taps the ground
[Snipe] Perhaps the power source is underground.
* Ripple nods
[Avatar] NRP: Dominator was nodding, uh, to the helmsman...
[Diamondback] {That could explain why none of us can really sense a definite location...}
[Ripple] {Supposedly.}
[Snipe] So while the others play havoic with the temple, we can find an entrance into the ground.
[Avatar] {It's a risk though... If we're wrong, we certainly wouldn't get to the power source in time... in time to destroy it...}
[Diamondback] {Ryan has a point... I guess we could always split up.}
[Avatar] {But going to the temple almost seems like suicide with so many others around...}
[Snipe] Possible, but do you want to split up with 30,000 blood thirsty psions running about?
[Diamondback] {Well, if you're with one team, and me, Ryan, and Andrew are with the other... we should be able to hold our own.}
[Avatar] {Hmmm... Snipe's right on that too. Whatever we do... we have to devote all our energy to doing it.}
[Avatar] *turns to DB* {You know though... Something about Snipe's logic makes sense... The temple would be the obvious place, but... would you hide so much power in the obvious place?}
* Snipe crosses arms and looks around
[Ripple] {Still, we'll do what we can.}
[Snipe] If you guys want to split up, I won't stop you.  I advice against it, but you're your own team.
[Diamondback] {It makes a lot of sense, really.}
[Ripple] {Yes, it does..}
[SOUND]
* Snipe looks at Hotaru
* Diamondback thinks
* Snipe glances then at Spirit
[Snipe] We're down in numbers with three of our people fixing a shuttle.
[Avatar] *pauses, thinking, but answers quickly* {I'll stay with you and the others, Snipe...} *something in his voice suggests that he doesn't want to go to the temple*
[Snipe] GM: *large explosions are seen in the night sky, as the epic space battle continues*
[Diamondback] {At least we had people that had a little mechanical knowledge.}
[Ripple] {We're that lucky.}
* Avatar looks up
[Avatar] {What's goind on up there...?}
* Ripple looks up too
* Avatar has just noticed the explosions for the first time
[Diamondback] {Big space battle, many guns, many explosions, blah blah blah...}
[Ripple] {Something.}
[Avatar] *glances at Snipe* {Tsivrixsh defense of the planet...?}
* Snipe shrugs
[Snipe] I can't see they'd be fighting against in that size.
[Avatar] {I would've thought most of the psions drawn here would be on the planet itself... not in space...}

[Diamondback] {It's strangely possible that someone is up there trying to protect the planet...}
[Snipe] Hota is on my team, I guess, if you want to split up DB
[Avatar] {Well... we'd best not hesitate any longer...}
[Megami] 5[4Hotaru5] *nods*
[Diamondback] {Did we ever confirm who was piloting those mechs that tried to stop us? And split up? Hell no, we wouldn't stand a chance seperated.}
[Ripple] {Well, whatever's going on, I think one of them is on our side, so let's hurry before they give out.{
[Snipe] What we need to do is find some way into the ground.
[Snipe] A cavern probably will lead into it.
[SOUND]
* Snipe waves hand and jogs forward
* Avatar glances around, scanning the horizon
* Avatar starts after Snipe
* Ripple looks at the other Enhanced
[Avatar] {How do you know it's this way...?}
[Snipe] GM: *horizon looks dark and gloomy, with no real atmosphere, it's like standing on Earth's moon*
* Diamondback shakes his head, glances at Ripple, then jogs after Ryan and Snipe
[Snipe] I don't, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who's figured it out.  So I'm going the opposite way of the temple.
[Avatar] {... All right.}
[Avatar] *shakes head suddenly and turns to Ripple and DB*
[Diamondback] {There seems to be a little fault in that logic, but... *shrugs* Why not.}
[Snipe] GM: *nearby a larage Tsivrixsh crashes into the planet's surface, rocking the planet*
[Avatar] We'd better stop using telepathy... 
[Avatar] Could attract others...
[Diamondback] ...Right.
[Ripple] Hm.. Good idea.
[Snipe] (battleship)
* Snipe stops, looking
* Diamondback stops
[Snipe] Good God.
[Avatar] !!! 
[Diamondback] ...Things just got interesting, boys...
* Ripple looks up
[Ripple] .... Yup.
[Avatar] ...Now that's something you don't see every day...
[Snipe] Who can be fighting the Tsivrixsh besides Dias?
[Avatar] *glances up* What the hell's going on up there...?
[Ripple] Something big enough to do that..
[Diamondback] Whatever it is, I'm glad they're up there and we're down here...
[Snipe] I hope it isn't the owners of this planet come to play havoic.
[Megami] 5[4Hotaru5] We're not going to be much help, either way.
* Snipe starts forward again, though still looking at the flaming wreckage.
[Ripple] Let's go.
[Avatar] ...We'd better stay away from that, Snipe... If they are survivors... *doesn't sound to confident that they would be* if they are survivors, they wouldn't take kindly to us
[Snipe] True on that.
* Snipe breaks out into a run
[Diamondback] Yep.
* Avatar follows after Snipe
* Diamondback takes off after Snipe and Av
* Ripple follow
[SOUND]
* Snipe watches as an Alliance ship skids along the ground and zooms back up
[Snipe] --?!  The---Alliance?
[Snipe] Horizon: *zooms over nearby, firing on a ship*
[Avatar] What...?
[Avatar] The Alliance... against the Tsivrixsh??
[Ripple] ...?
[Snipe] Death Star, that crazy son of a bitch.
* Snipe shakes head.
[Diamondback] ...
[Avatar] Death Star...
[Ripple] Hm..
* Avatar looks down, remembering...
[Snipe] Yeah, he lived, thanks to you, Ryan.
[Diamondback] Well, whatever they're doing, they're buying us time!
[Avatar] I hope he's come to return the favor
[Avatar] But wait a minute...
[Snipe] Yes?
[Avatar] I thought the Alliance was fighting a Tsivrixsh in some other system and couldn't help us out...?
[Ripple] We'd better use that time..
* Diamondback clears his throat
[Snipe] That was what I heard.  Looks like they brought the party here.
[Diamondback] Do we REALLY have time to be standing around talking?
[Avatar] Looks like it... *turns to DB*
[Megami] 5[4Hotaru5] Right... we'd best get moving.
[Snipe] Right,
* Snipe runs
[Avatar] He's right... *gets moving again*
* Diamondback runs
* Ripple dashes
[Snipe] Comm:  Hey, Snipe, you down therE?  Dias says regular comms can't break through right now.
* Snipe looks at the comm, hearing DS' voice.
* Snipe grabs it, still running
[Snipe] What are you doing here?
* Avatar glance at Snipe as he runs
[Snipe] Comm: Oh, I thought this system was deserted but you Wraiths go and bring a planet.  How thoughtful.  Do you know you're in a middle of a psionic nestbed, surrounded by 800 Tsivrixsh hornets?
[Snipe] Well, you know us, we like throwing rocks.
* Snipe jumps over a small dirt bed.
[Snipe] Comm: Anything I can do?
* Snipe looks at the others, debating on the planet attack idea again
[Snipe] Just keep them off our backs.
* Avatar leaps over the dirt bed without using telekinesis, almost tripping when he lands, but he recovers
* Snipe puts the comm up.
[Ripple] NRP: Probably should use DSCOMM: since it looks like you're talking to yourself.
[Megami] 5[4Hotaru5] *follows the others, of course*
* Diamondback runs, a look of extreme determination in his eyes, and jumps over the dirt bed - catching his foot on it, he falls face first into the dirt
[Snipe] NRP: I am, kinda.
* Snipe stops and looks at DB
[Avatar] *turns back to help DB up*
[SOUND]
[Avatar] NRP: Heh heh
[Snipe] GM: *10 psi blasts fly at them*
* Ripple pulls DB up by flipping
* Diamondback pulls up and dusts himself off
[Ripple] Come on!
* Snipe looks to the side and sees 10 psionics running at them, firing
* Ripple dashes
* Snipe runs again
[Avatar] What the?! *puts up a psionic shield reflexively*
[Snipe] Company.
[Megami] 5[4Hotaru5] *keeps up her psi shield as best she can*
[Diamondback] Keep moving! They mean business...
[Snipe] Tsivrixsh Battleship: *flies overheard, shooting at the planet, causing gaping holes*
* Ripple glances at them
[Ripple] No time for peons... 
* Snipe looks up and dives to the side as a blast hits the planet
[Snipe] GAH!
* Snipe is thrown
[Avatar] Holy...!
* Avatar leaps into the air, flying forward
* Snipe looks at the crater where he was.
* Diamondback screeches to a halt, avoiding falling in the crater
* Ripple glances at Av
[Diamondback] ...This ain't good.
[Snipe] Horizon: *flies beside the battleship, blasting it's weaponary*
[Ripple] Keep going!
* Snipe rolls to his feet, a psi-blast hitting him. He ignores it and keeps going
* Diamondback swings around the crater and resumes running
* Avatar lands and keeps moving
[Snipe] I think Mr. DS is cutting it too frickin' close.
[Diamondback] Nice jump.
[Diamondback] That's DS for ya.
[Snipe] Tsiv Battleship: *blows up and lands on the 10 psions behind them*
[Avatar] I thought... *breathes heavily* I thought that it wasn't safe for... battleships to fight inside a planet's atmosphere??
* Ripple dashes and makes a jump over
[Snipe] It isn't!
* Avatar shields eyes
[Avatar] I guess that answers my question...
* Snipe blinks as the flare goes off from the explosion
[Diamondback] *senses the death of the psions* ...Squish.
[Ripple] I think DS would cut it closer than this.
* Avatar continues running
* Snipe looks ahead and sees a thousand psions fighting each other.
* Snipe stops
[Snipe] More?!
[Megami] 5[4Hotaru5] Wonderful. *stops behind Snipe*
[Diamondback] Uh... let's cut around them.... I don't want to get caught up in that one.
[Ripple] Egad...
* Snipe runs to the right, hoping to loop around them.
[Diamondback] There's too many of them. There must be something over there...
[Snipe] I agree.
[Avatar] I thought this was the way to avoid the fighting...
[Snipe] It was!  
* Diamondback turns to look at Snipe, who has already taken off running, and follows him
[Snipe] Temple: *explodes from psions attacks in the background, behind them*
[SOUND]
* Avatar glances at the battling psions one more time then dashes after DB and Snipe
* Snipe jumps over as a psion blows a hole in the ground
[Avatar] ...! *hovers over the gaping hole in the ground*
[Megami] 5[4Hotaru5] *rushes off after Snipe*
* Diamondback leaps over the crater without using psionics
* Snipe suddenly changes tactics and runs through the psions
[Avatar] Dammit... Not sure I can keep up without psionics...
* Ripple keeps up, using Ripplewaves to counter any blasts that hit him
* Snipe slams into one and keeps moving
[Ripple] We're in the thick, who's going to care!?
* Diamondback follows Snipe's tactic, laughing as he forms a psionic barrier around himself as he charges through the ranks
[Snipe] Psions: *fire at Snipe, blowing holes around him*

* Snipe flips onto one's head and jumps off
[Avatar] Snipe!
[Snipe] Later.
[Diamondback] Bowlin' for psions! Yeeeha!
[Snipe] Try not to hurt them, gang.
* Ripple glances at DB
* Avatar flies around the psions, trying to avoid them
* Snipe stops and stands in the middle, waving hands. Suddenly 100 psions stop moving*
[Snipe] Psions: *look pained, as if they are lost*
* Ripple flips over a large group of them, skidding next to Snipe
[Avatar] .oO (What's Snipe doing?!)
* Diamondback stops - though he isn't one of the 100
[Diamondback] What...?
* Avatar slows to a halt too
[Snipe] Come on gang, I form a path for us
* Diamondback drops his barrier
* Snipe runs on, psions who are further from regain their ability while those he runs past lose it
* Avatar lands on the ground
* Diamondback keeps up with Snipe
* Avatar follows Snipe
* Ripple keeps up, blinking
[Avatar] How... how are you doing this, Snipe?
[Snipe] Psions: *seem to realize what's going when their powers return, glaring at Snipe*
[Diamondback] Ryan, Andrew, don't get too close to Snipe!
[Snipe] My powers are kicking in too when I came here.  I can nullify even better.
[Ripple] Not like we have much choice, Chris..
[Avatar] *glances back at DB and lets Snipe get a bit further ahead of him*
[Snipe] Oh, sorry.  *concentrates, letting Rip, DB, Hota, and Av retain their powers*
[Avatar] Thanks...
[SOUND]
[Diamondback] That's better.
[Ripple] Much.
* Snipe sweats some
* Avatar increses his speed
* Snipe runs through the psions, some firing blasters at them
* Diamondback catches up with Snipe and forms a psionic barrier against the blasters
* Avatar trips and telekinetically catches himself
* Avatar a blaster bolt catches him in the back, but it's telekinetically reflected almost as a reflex
[Snipe] [You know, DB, you really tick me off sometimes]  *says telepathically, which actually works*
[Avatar] Arrgh...!
[Snipe] You okay, Ryan!?
* Avatar shakes head
[Avatar] Yeah, I'll be okay
* Avatar regains his pace
* Avatar realizes he has very little idea how much punishment his current "body" can take
[Diamondback] This place is getting more and more bizarre by the minute.
* Snipe grabs his blaster and shoots a firing psion in the leg.

* Snipe points ahead where a giant hill is
[Snipe] Behind there!
* Ripple runs for it
* Snipe runs behind the hill, resting against it, dropping his nullification
* Avatar heads for it
* Avatar stops by Snipe

* Diamondback dives behind the hill
[Avatar] You okay, John?
[Diamondback] Well, that was fun. Can we do it again?
[Snipe] That took a bit out of me, I hate using the nullification on more than one person.
* Avatar glances at DB, smiling
[Avatar] You haven't changed, have you?
[Snipe] I think we might have to.  The entire area is crawling with enemies.
[Diamondback] Not a bit.
* Diamondback 's eyes become purple for a second, then return
* Ripple 's does as well
[Snipe] GM: *all psions are a bit stronger now*
[Diamondback] We're getting closer. I can feel it.
[Snipe] That's good.
* Snipe points ahead where 30 Tsivrixsh troops are on guard.
[Avatar] Yes... *looks at hands* I feel more steady now...
[Ripple] Hm..
[Snipe] But look who else is here.  *grabs his comm* DS?!  Why are their Tsivrixsh here?!
[Diamondback] That's their problem...
[Snipe] DS Comm: I forgot to tell you.  A psion Tsivrixsh Commander landed on the planet.  He's probably got tracking devices just for finding the pour source.
[Snipe] DS Comm: I'd put my money he's the closest to finding it.
[Diamondback] ...It figures.
* Avatar eyes start to turn purple, but he shakes his head suddenly and they fade back to normal before completely changing
* Snipe notes Av, Rip, and DB's eyes
[Snipe] Still in contact with the Enhanced?
[SOUND]
[Snipe] That means they're probably on the way here...
* Snipe grunts.
* Garland looks at Snipe, then to DB
[Diamondback] ...I was healing myself, Snipe.
[Avatar] *glances at Snipe* I'm trying... trying to avoid making contact...
[Snipe] Thank you, Ryan.
* Snipe says honestly.
[Avatar] It's like a pull... a call... *rubs head*
* Avatar smiles back at Snipe
* Snipe twirls his rifle and begins to walk towards the Tsivrixsh
[Diamondback] ...I WAS healing myself! C'mon, give me a break...
[Snipe] I think I'm going to have some fun.
[Avatar] Thank you for, John, for not giving up on any of us...
[SOUND]
[Avatar] But, umm... Oh great...
[Snipe] Not planning on doing it today.
* Snipe runs forward
* Avatar starts after Snipe
[Snipe] Tsivrixsh: *look at Snipe running, laughing to themselves at the idiot*
* Garland forms Ripplewaves hin his hands
* Snipe leaps into the air and begins to fire, hitting a few. They step back
[Snipe] NRP: Go GARLAND!
* Diamondback runs after Snipe
[Snipe] Tsivrixsh: *gawk in their own language*
[Garland] NRP: ACK!
* Snipe lands on the ground, still firing.
[Snipe] Drop...DEAD!
* Ripple runs forward, throwing waves at them
* Avatar glances at DB, unsure of what Snipe's doing
* Diamondback rolls into a sniper's position and throws his right arm forward, sending a wave of psionic energy flying at the Tsiv
[Snipe] Tsivrixsh: *pull out their weaponary and surges forward, immune to to psionic attacks*
* Avatar turns back though and opens fire with his weapon
[Diamondback] ...Fine, be that way!
* Snipe keeps firing, stepping back. Only two are dead.
* Avatar dashes forward and is surprised to see he can run almost twice as fast as normal
* Diamondback teleports a rifle into his hand and opens fire
[Snipe] Tsivrixsh: *throw out green lasers that blow up holes in front of DB*
[Diamondback] Yeow! *flips backward*
* Snipe leaps back.
[Diamondback] That's harsh..
[Snipe] ...
* Ripple opens a (whatever those portals were called) reaches in and pulls out a rifle
* Avatar leaps forward, dangerously close to one of the Tsivrixsh, blasts like hell, then runs backward and jumps
* Snipe turns behind them and sees 100 psions on the giant hill*
[Snipe] Tsivrixsh: *Stop, looking at all the psions*U
* Ripple fires at the Tsiv
[Diamondback] Might I be the first to say that we're in DEEP shit?
* /sound: no such file 'TGC-TheBattleofDeath.mid'
* Avatar lands hard on the ground, but gets up and grabs his rifle again
[SOUND]
[Snipe] ...ARGGHHHHHH!
[Avatar] Sure, but you sure as hell won't be the last, Chris.
* Snipe grunts, giving into the virus some
[Ripple] I beat you to it earlier, Chris.
[Snipe] Psions: *open fire on both the Wraiths and the Tsivrixsh*
[Ripple] John?
[Snipe] W-What?
* Diamondback throws up a psi-shield, but strains against the fire
[Ripple] You okay?
* Snipe clenches his fist, concentrating
* Ripple throws up a sheild too
[Snipe] Getting some extra energy.
* Avatar runs forward to Snipe's side
* Snipe flips, slamming his rifle into a Tsivrixsh's head
* Snipe uppercuts the same one again, sending it on the ground
* Snipe panths
* Avatar opens fire on the Tsivrixsh again
* Snipe is hit by a blast shot by a psion, spinning
[Avatar] (Tsivrixsh = psions)
[Snipe] Dammit, they got rifles.
* Diamondback holds the shield, protecting from the back front
* Ripple fires
[Snipe] Tsivrixsh: *pulls out grenades and throw them at everyone, retreating*
[Snipe] ...?!
* Avatar forms a telekinetic shield above him and Snipe
* Avatar concentrates, trying to push the grenades at the psions instead
[Ripple] .... Dammit...
[Snipe] Grenades: *explode, causing a crater to form 3 feet around the entire area.  All 100 psions are vapeD*
[Snipe] NRP: 3 feet deep
* Snipe looks at the shield and nods his thanks to Avatar
[Snipe] [The Enhanced pull it off again]
* Ripple looks at DB
* Diamondback lowers his psi-shield
[Diamondback] Of course.
* Avatar nods back, looking astonished at the destruction
[Ripple] Swish?
[Snipe] Of course what?
* Avatar drops the shields
[Avatar] (shield)
[Diamondback] ...Of course we pulled it off again.
[Snipe] ...I didn't say that outloud.
[Diamondback] You're right, you didn't - telepathy.
[Ripple] ... I thought you couldn't do that?
[Snipe] That's rich.  I haven't been able to use that in a year.
[Diamondback] ...You just did.
[Ripple] Huh, well, no time. *starts on*
* Snipe glances at Av
[Snipe] [So, Av, what's up?  Hah, can't hear me!?]
* Avatar blinks
[Avatar] {You can use psionics...?}
[Snipe] No way!  You guys remember I lost that ability during the fight with Sigma.
[Diamondback] I have a feeling that the nullification ability itself is a form of psionics, Ryan...
[Avatar] But you just...
* Snipe looks at DB
[Snipe] ...I always thought it was the total opposite...but...psionics itself?
[Avatar] *turns back to DB* You know, John... That's a good point...
[Diamondback] How else could you explain the fact that it's getting more powerful as we get near the power?
[Avatar] This planet must be enhancing your psionic powers too... Both anti-psionic ability and psionic abilities
[Snipe] 10 Mechs: *land there, battle damaged*
[Snipe] Voice: You guys again!?
[SOUND]
* Avatar spins around looking at the mechs
[Diamondback] ...You guys again!?
[Avatar] ...Not again...
[Snipe] Voice: I thought you would have been killed within the first 20 minutes!
[Snipe] Voice: So you figured how the power source is right here, eh?  Well, so did every other telepath.  They're all coming to this spot.
[Snipe] No!
[Diamondback] *to team* [...Right here...?]
* Avatar gulps
* Ripple looks up
[Snipe] Voice: Well, we'll fight you for it!  Then we'll deal with that other psion already inside.
[Snipe] Mechs: *begin to glow as they all step to form a circle*
[Diamondback] ...Um... my vote goes to running...
[Snipe] 10 mechs: *form into one large, giant mech*
* Snipe gawks.
[Ripple] ....Shit.
[Diamondback] ...What in the...
[Snipe] Mental note, teach Slasher this trick.

* Diamondback holds up a psi-shield around the Wraiths
* Snipe watches as psi blasts fly around them.
[Avatar] The Enhanced... Maybe they will... *tries to make contact with the collective suddenly, then holds his head*

[Avatar] Argh... The unity of the collective... it's disintegrating...
[Snipe] Psions: *Begin to fall due to each others attack, dead in mot cases*
* Avatar is hit by a blast, following backward
* Diamondback uses the fact that his eyes are already purple to contact the collective secretly
* Velocity gets hit by an attack, stumbling
[Velocity] ARGH
[Ripple] Rtan!
[Diamondback] I can't cover all areas! Help me out!
[Snipe] Ryan!  Ron!  Dammit!
* Snipe runs at the crowd of psions, punching people
* Ripple throws out his hands, sheilding
* Snipe gets shot by a rifle, stumbling back and sliding down the hill
* Diamondback drops the shield and concentrates on healing Ron and Avatar
* Avatar rubs his head
[Velocity] GM: *a blast nails DB*
[Avatar] [Thanks... Chris...]
[Snipe] ...total...chaos...*watches as the bodies keep falling*
* Diamondback rolls into the dirt himself
[Ripple] Dammit...
* Velocity staggers up, backing away
[Velocity] I'm no good at fighting!
* Avatar puts a new clip in his gun, loading it
* Avatar starts blasting around him
* Snipe fires his rifle madly
* Diamondback pops his knuckles as he stands back up and draws both of his sabres (NRP: Teleported them in last session)
* Ripple starts throwing ripplewaves
* Avatar backs up as he does
[Snipe] Psions: *continue to pile up, but more just arrive*
* Diamondback ignites them and runs into the crowd, slashing whoever is in his way
* Avatar puts his rifle on his back, the clip almost emptied
* Velocity is taken down, finally, permenantly this time. KOed.
[Snipe] Psions: *some team up to fire at DB, bringing him to his knees*
* Avatar aims his Chain Lightning gloves forward and blast of ball of lightning, then start electricuting those enemies around him like crazy
* Diamondback crosses his sabres, attempting to form a psi-shield, but is quickly running short on energy
* Snipe suddenly knows a little hole in the ground, stumbling forward he sticks his head in. A small cave begins to rise up from the ground.
[Avatar] {Chris!} *leaps toward cross, drawing his sabre and slashing madly*
* Snipe looks at the cave and at the crowd.
[Snipe] The entrance to the source.
* Ripple throws another Wave into a Psion
* Avatar holds one hand on his sabre, continues blasting electricity with the other
[Snipe] GM: *blasts hit Ripple, bringing him down some*
* Diamondback uses the opportunity to back away from the crowd and begin healing
[Ripple] Let's go!
[Megami] NRP: Don't know enough of what's going on to RP a battle, sorry.

* Snipe holds up hand, standing next to Hota
* Ripple looks at Snipe

* Avatar dashes in front of those he can, trying to push them back
[Snipe] Psions: *begin to hammer on Avatar and the others in a combined force*

* Avatar suddenly gets an idea and tries to fade into a ghost-like state again
