* Seraphna walks over behind the chair and puts her hands gently on her husband's shoulders

<Garland> I appologize for not being in top shape yet... I didn't expect these times to start out like this.

<Garland> Probably worrying about his own opinions and working on some new half-assed "super shuttle". YOU Velocity, are leading the mechs, get down there.
<GM> Chip: Shretrav's fleet will arrive in 17 minutes and 4 seconds.
<Seraphna> *Sarlen stands around the techs, rushing them to get the mecha ready
* Velocity stands there
<Velocity> I don't fly mechs well.
<Garland> I didn't say you were taking a mech. All I said was you were leading them.
* Hotaru-chan heads over to Elly and Lucas, not saying anything.

<Velocity> You might not know much about flying, but me in a starfighter, leading mechs, will NOT work.

<Garland> Then get the hell into a starfighter and make sure they don't get slaughtered.

* Seraphna shakes her head and looks at the crews

<Seraphna> Skeleton Crew Mecha are Team A, Avenger Type Mecha are Group B, the Vanguard Group is team C. I WANT ZERO CASUALTIES GOT IT?

<Seraphna> *The minor crews and the Skeleton group salute and she nodds, they board thier fighters and mecha.
<Diamondback> <I should... I hope Slasher hasn't tried to mess with the Jack again.>
* Hotaru-chan watches Elly and Lucas, wordlessly
* Velocity makes a grunting sound, then turns and walks out.

* Velocity steps into the training room, watching.
* Diamondback fades away into a purple silouhette before disappearing
<Garland> Comm: All gunnery and defense personel, man the turrets and arm yourselves for the posibility of onboard fighting.
<Seraphna> *The two land on the floor, thier hands on each other's arms, and they step back, bowing and grinning.

<Garland> We're here... so... Death Star was rambling about realities according to Grave...

* Garland grabs a sword from the swordcase in his room, running to the mech bay

* Velocity looks down, as if realizing that must be a sore subject, so he turns to go again

* Velocity walks over to his aging starfighter pilot.
* Velocity runs his hand along the wing and opens the cockpit, getting inside. He places on his helmet and begins to buckle up.

* Velocity closes the cockpit glass and attempts to power the starfighter up, getting a stalling fit.

* Diamondback thrusts forward with both sabres, then upwards, taking out two oncoming mechs

* Velocity turns his attention back to Mech Group B, waiting.
<Velocity> Hell, even if a starfighter has no chance against a mech, this'll be interesting.

* Velocity stays in place.

* Diamondback yells out as he sends a psionic wave pulsing through Jack, trying to shock the mechs off

* Garland tears the other off of his arm
* Velocity places his right hand onto a lever, speaking softly, counting down.

<Velocity> Comm: Fire away, ORIGIN!

<Seraphna> *Group B finally stirs, Fifty blasters cutting into the enemies
<GM> SF: *are being shot like flies, but are coming out in greater numbers*

* Velocity wipes his mouth, then accelerates towards the main crusier.
<GM> MGB: *are destroyed totally from the splash damage of the mechs Hotaru hits*
<Seraphna> *Group C holds up better than the other two, it being the group of Superior, Hunter class mechs
<GM> *Damion is destroyed*
* Seraphna flies through enemies, tearing through them wildly with her scythe

* Garland flies back, slashing mechs left and right

<Velocity> Comm: Well, I know this isn't an old Earth model ship like the Repliforce incident, but it worked once.
* Velocity keeps flying at the cruiser.
* Diamondback mimics Garland's motion, tearing at the opposing mechs
* Garland pants
<Garland> I hate mechs...
<Diamondback> <Not tired already, are ya?>
<Seraphna> COMM> NEW ORDER!!! NO ONE DIES GOT IT!!!

* Velocity comes within 2 klicks of the cruiser.
* Diamondback forms a ball of psi in one of Jack's hands and throws it forward as a beam, completely ripping apart an enemy mech
<Seraphna> *The groups reform and start ripping through thier enemies in formation, protecting one another
* Seraphna tries to hold on, her hand inches away from the dreaded system
* Garland notes Vel "What'er you doing out there!?"

<Velocity> Well, once before, starfighters found a weakpoint in the ship and managed to fly inside to find a weakpoint.  I'm going to find one.

* Diamondback swings upwards with his right sabre, dicing a mech straight up the middle

* Seraphna blows off her left arm, revealing a hidden cannon, fully charged and fires it at Cruiser 1
* Velocity glances in his visor.

<Garland> *voice goes into Vel ominously* Velocity, use the... rockets! BLOW'EM TO HELL!
