[DeathStar] Evolution Part II
*** Dias-Eating is now known as DIas

* DeathStar stands off to the side, feeling helpless.
* Garland holds his sword ready, keeping an eye on Eve
* Eve` stands there in a battle stance.
[Garland] Death Star, find the self destruct on this place, they always include them for some reason.
[DeathStar] It's up top somewhere.  
* DeathStar indicates the base above them.
* Garland lowers his stance, tightening his defense
* Eve` throws a kick at Garland.
*** Dias is now known as DarkHeart
* Garland roars, slashing down at her ankle
* Eve` moves her leg back.
* DarkHeart floats there, his tail swinging wildly behind him
* Eve` smirks.
* DeathStar runs back through the door that led into the room.
* Garland meets the smirk with a fist to the face
* Eve` grabs the fist and throws Garland back.
* Garland lands on his feet
* DarkHeart blurs around Eve and comes from behind, tryign to grapple her
* Eve` stands there, no longer smirking.
*** Ninia-eating-food-need-food has quit IRC (Quit: )
* Eve` glances behind at her at DH and leaps up into the air.
* DarkHeart skids below Eve
* Garland glances between the two
* DeathStar flips a few times and lands off to the side.
[DeathStar] NRP: Eve
* DarkHeart spins on his heels and turns his head back at Eve
* Garland calmly walks over to more computers and starts destoying them
[Eve`] ...
* Eve` goes back into her battlestance.
* DarkHeart slides into his battle stance
* Garland fires a blast at a clutch of systems
[Eve`] GM: *the room catches on fire as the computers burn and spark.  A few mini-explosions go off*
[Garland] DS, prep the ship.
* DeathStar is amazingly already gone.
* DarkHeart blurs forward towards Eve
* Eve` waits.
* DarkHeart form wavers as he runs at Eve
*** DarkHeart is now known as Dias
[Garland] NRP: He says that.... telepathically!
* Eve` leaps over Dias and lands behind him.
* Dias spins around, running backwards before he stops
* Eve` staggers forward as another explosion goes off near them.
* Garland destroys the last of the computers
[Garland] No salvaging this place. *narrows his eyes
[DeathStar] GM: *a voice in Tsivrixsh begins speaking, almost as if counting down*
[Dias] Eve...this place is going to explode..
[Eve`] Yes...
[Dias] Come with me...
* Garland takes a moment to interpret the numbers
[Eve`] ....no.
[Dias] Why not?
* Eve` lowers her hands
[Garland] We have three minutes.
[Eve`] Is it not enough you came here and destroyed my life?  Go away.
[Garland] Dias, if she refuses, don't make her. Let her pick her own fate.
* Garland walks off.
[Dias] If we would'nt have, the Tsiv would've.
* Dias walks towards her calmly
[Garland] No matter how sad of one it is.
[Eve`] You people are self-destructive enough as it is...
* Garland flies up the elevator shaft, and blurs out of the top floor
[Dias] I do'nt know what changed you these last 8 years...
* DeathStar preps the ship in the hanger, a couple of Tsivrixsh bodies laying around it.
* Garland calmly walks up the ramp
* Eve` turns away from Dias, as not to look at him
[Dias] ...I don't want to lose you again Eve..
[Eve`] You better go.  You only have two minutes.
[Garland] You're still no-nonsense, that's good. *nods to DS8
[Dias] What if I don't want to leave you?
[Garland] 2:30 left.
[Garland] We may have to leave Dias.
* DeathStar doesn't speak, just sitting there, his hand on the lever.
[Eve`] Go, Dias.  Now.
[Garland] If he doesn't come, he's picked his own fate, DS.
[Dias] ....No..
[DeathStar] And did Iceheart pick her fate when she tried to stop me?
[Dias] I....love you Eve..
[Garland] Iceheart didn't let anyone help her, and neither is Dias.
* Eve` looks at him, a mixture of confused emotions on her face. She strains, obviously unsure which side is speaking to her - the human side or the Tsivrixsh side
* DeathStar punches Garland suddenly, with more power than should be present.
[DeathStar] YOU SHUT UP!
* Dias walks up behind her, placing his hand on her shoulder
* Garland glances at DS, rubbing his cheek a moment
* DeathStar grabs the lever, lifting the ship up into the air. He angles it so the guns are pointing at the floor, then fires.
[Garland] It was a risk she took with you, too. If he stays there, it's absolute.
[Eve`] Dias...I...
[DeathStar] Shut up, Garland.
[Dias] Please...
*** Sherinmir has quit IRC (Ping timeout)
* DeathStar keeps firing, blowing the floors out from under them.
* Garland crosses his arms and closes his eyes
[Dias] Don't leave me...
* Eve` suddenly hugs him, but sighs.
[Garland] Less than a minute.
[Eve`] We don't have time to get away, Dias.
* Dias holds onto her
[Dias] Then atleast I'll die with you.
* DeathStar fires a missle, blowing the roof out from above Dias and Eve.
* Dias feels the shudder and quickly covers Eve from falling debris
[DeathStar] GM: *the base is strangely without any Tsivrixsh - as they have all run away*
* Eve` looks surprised.
* Dias looks up seeing the shuttle
[Garland] Thirty.
[Dias] We can make it...please?
* DeathStar spins the ramp around so it's facing them.
* Eve` hestitates, then looks at Dias
[Eve`] Why?  Why do you love me?
* Garland yells back down the ramp
[Garland] Save the shit, and get on!
[Dias] Because...you saw in me something that no one else could..
[Garland] *darkly* Twenty.
* DeathStar looks like he's resigned to blow up here, too, if they don't board.
[Dias] Hurry....
[Eve`] And you saw something in me, too, it seems...
* Eve` leaps up onto the ramp.
* Dias follows behind her staying close
* DeathStar starts flying up even as they land.
* DeathStar hits the ramp close button.
[DeathStar] GM: *parts of the base begin to shudder as several small explosions start*
[Garland] Ten, god damnit you two, learn to talk when you're not about to be blown up, eh?
[Garland] Five.
* DeathStar flies up for the hanger.
* Dias reaches down and grabs her hand holding it
* Eve` holds on as the ramp closes under them
[Garland] One.
* DeathStar flies up into the hanger.
* DeathStar hears the explosion as the base shudders. He flies out of the hanger and hits the hyperspace button.
* DeathStar quickly drops them out of hyperspace again.
* DeathStar looks at the giant start in front of them
[DeathStar] (star)
* Dias looks over at Eve
* Eve` glances at Dias and smiles.
* Garland identifies the star
[DeathStar] Is she going to join us in looking for the homeplanet or should I just take her back to the Fury?
* Dias smiles
[Dias] What do you want to do Eve?
[Eve`] The homeplanet?  ... if you can get me back to the Fury, I can probably point it out to you.
* DeathStar glances at Eve.
[Dias] ...Really?!
* Eve` nods.
* Garland crosses his arms and leans against the wall
* DeathStar sets in a course for the Fury.
* Dias reaches his hands around her and hugs her
[Dias] Thank you...
[Eve`] I should be the one thanking you, Dias.  Time and time again it's always you who comes after me.
* DeathStar pulls the lever, launching them into hyperspace.
* DeathStar stands up, shaking his hand as if it hurts.
[Dias] Must be that perfume you wear..
* Garland coughs, and heads into the back area of the ship
* DeathStar watches Garland go.
[DeathStar] I'm glad you two are going to be alright.
* DeathStar steps off the bridge area, to give them some privacy.
[Dias] I got to see Snipe one last time...
[Eve`] You...did?
* Garland stands in a dark corner of a back room of the ship, his arms tightly crossed
* Dias nods
* DeathStar walks along the dimly lit areas of the ship.
[Eve`] I'm glad you got to see your friend again.
[Dias] So was he....
* Garland drops his crossed arms and sighs once.
* DeathStar sighs, tapping his foot. It used to be easier to locate people.
* Garland glacnes up, DS having made it to the same room as him
[Eve`] It's been so long, since I've seen you, Dias...
[Garland] You were better at finding things with the replacement eye.
[DeathStar] ...well, I lost my sense abilities, also.
*** Ninia has joined #Taw
* Dias smiles
* Garland nods slowly, his sillouette seeming much more threatening than usual.
[DeathStar] ..Garland, what was that back there?  You seem to be ready to throw Sera, Elayne, and the kids out of your life and now you're ready to let friends die pointlessly.
[Dias] Promise me you'll never leave me again....
[Eve`] I don't plan on it, Dias.  *hugs him*
[Garland] As for Sera, I'm ready to.
[DeathStar] Why?
[X1] NRP: She's a witch! Burn her!
* Dias hugs back
[Garland] As far as my friends go, things will always work out to an extent.
[Dias] I wish this moment could last forever.
[Garland] Sera is a witch, burn her.
* DeathStar nods slowly, turning away from him to look around.
[Eve`] So do I...but there's always tomorrow.
[Dias] And the day after that....
[DeathStar] I see.
[Garland] In all honesty, Death Star, do you think it's possible not to find someone when you're lost in another dimention with literally no hope of getting home?
[DeathStar] .....
[DeathStar] So that's how it happened.
* Garland nods slowly...
[DeathStar] It's not my position to judge how you live your life, Garland.
[Garland] I had another family, one I spent more than two years with.
[Garland] Seraphna seems like little more than an affair now, that's why.
[Dias] NRP: Affairs are sacriligious! He must be burned with her the witch.
[DeathStar] So I guess when you came back, tried to re-establish your relationship with her, and I guess it just seemed to pale at what you used to have so you became distant from her.
* Garland nods.
[DeathStar] All right.
* DeathStar turns to step out.
* Garland closes his eyes again, a tear splashing against the metal floor
* DeathStar steps out, not noticing.
[Dias] NRP: *the tear pops back up and smacks Garland in the eye*
[Garland] NRP: *shoves Dias's face into a meat slicer*
[Dias] MRP: *Cries*
