* Ire is still wearing the clothes from yesterday's mission, covering in blood. He stands in the control room, the lights off, watching the snow

* DeathStar leans against Selphie's wall, off to the side. His arms are crossed.

* Selphie`Cao snaps her head around to the other side of the room. "DS?!"

* Stark sits int he lab, working
* Shroud takes off her jumpsuit and slips into a black nightgown and puts on her reading glasses to look ata few data tables.
* DeathStar shrugs, his coat having some melting snow on it.
* Hotaru-chan sits in the control room, thinking deeply.
* Ire doesn't seem to take notice of Hotaru.
[Hotaru-chan] 3[4Kyoko3] *is absent ATM*
* Selphie`Cao slowly stands up in front of him
[Selphie`Cao] *in front of DS
* Ire flips off the screen showing Celin's records, with deceased across the file.
* Selphie`Cao doesn't know what to say.. shocked to see DS again.. "I didn't think you were coming back...."

* Adam` sits in the lobby, watching TV idly as he picks his nose

* Selphie`Cao smiles, holding back the tears.. "It's nice to see you again... without the mask on.."

[Ire] Iceheart: *sneaks into Med Bay*
[Cedarton] He just wouldn't listen to me, really DS, we have a composure to uphold...
* DeathStar glances at Cedarton, frowning slightly.
* Cedarton has a slight smille

* DeathStar adjusts his brown coat.

* Adam` gets up and heads into the medbay
[DeathStar] I had things I needed to sort out in my mind.
[Ire] Iceheart: *sneaks into Eve's office*
* Adam` stops, looking at IH

* Selphie`Cao tries to smile...and nods once.

* DeathStar walks around the room, looking around.
[Ire] Iceheart: *pulls off her mask, shaking her blonde hair around* Just checking to see if there was any riots due to Dr. Doom's attack.
* Selphie`Cao sits on the corner of her bed... "I missed you....."
[DeathStar] Same here.
* Shroud walks casually out of her room and into the lobby, datacharts in hand without changing back into her normal uniform. "Maybe I'll be able to concentarte here."
* Ire wanders the hallways.
[Seiya] *To Hotaru* [...arigato gosimuzu...]
* Cedarton passes Ire casually
[Selphie`Cao] You couldn't even have let me known you were okay? I was so worried.. *starts to cry*
[Adam`] Unless they're pissed off toaster ovens, I doubt it.
* Ire pauses, looking at Cedarton.
[Ire] Eve: Cute.
* Cedarton wistles while he walks
[Adam`] Not as cute as you look in that outfit.
* Adam` smirks

* Ire turns around and stares at him
[Selphie`Cao] NRP: Adam: But it looks cuter in a ball on the floor

* DeathStar pauses, as if thinking about how to respond to her.

[DeathStar] I was trying to stop both sides from hurting each other. This entire war is wrong. Reploids should not be punished like they are nor should humans be killed. I tried to stop both sides.

[Ire] Eve: I..I got to get back into my normal clothes. *closes the door fast*
[Selphie`Cao] We aren't going to stop fighting DS.. This is going to go on for years...

* Shroud walks up behind Selphie.

* Adam` stands with his nose pressed against the door

* Mahoraga looks at the windows of the base.

[DeathStar] Look, I'm not going to stand by and let Reploids and Humans fight until one side is beaten into submission.

* Cedarton looks around for Hotaru in the control room
* Ire wanders the hallways.

* Mahoraga looks at the windows of the base, then at the door, thinking..
[Ire] GM: *the snow begins to vanish outside*

* DeathStar looks at her.
* Ire walks into the lobby area.

* Ire steps outside at the melting snow, quirking his eyebrow.
* Selphie`Cao tears fall uncontrolably from her eyes...
* Hotaru-chan nods quietly.
* Mahoraga continues in, glancing at Ire.
[DeathStar] It's late. You had a long day yesterday/
[Selphie`Cao] I don't care...
[Hotaru-chan] I only wish this war had never happened...

* Cedarton nods...
* Selphie`Cao holds onto DS's arm and doesn't let go.

* Mahoraga passes Selphies room.
* Mahoraga glances at the people inside then continues on.

* Ire walks back up the stairs

[Ire] Eve: *opens her door, back in her normal clothes*

* Selphie`Cao claps and grabs her two bags, stuffs her clothes in one bag, and stuffs her person items with a few bottles of booze in the other bag. She finds a piece of paper and a pen, and quickly writes a note for the Hunters to find.
[Cedarton] If she can keep the location secret, I have no complaints...
* Adam` lifts an eyebrow

* Selphie`Cao walks to the door and sees Cedarton and DS..

* Eve` looks through a computer of medical equipment.

[Ire] GM: *outside, all the snow from the thick snowstorm has mysteriously vanished*
[Seiya] ...I really appreciate this...
[Eve`] No problem.
[Selphie`Cao] NRP: It says " Ire: I left... something came up, take care and be well. I'll miss all the Hunters. -Selphie"
* Stark steps outside
[Stark] Strange...
[Eve`] Hmmm, there could be something that would work. But we have none anywhere on the complex. I'll have the Armed Forces Medical Staff look into getting some in.
* Eve` types in a message to the main Medical Staff located somewhere on the bases' complex.
* Mahoraga gets the post-it and goes to the control room.
* Hotaru-chan goes to check on Seiya.
* Ire remains in his seat in the control room
* Mahoraga hands the post it to Ire without a word.
[Selphie`Cao] NRP *waits for the reaction*
* Ire opens his eyes and looks at it. For a brief moment a flicker of surprise crosses his face, then it goes back to his void look of emotions.
[Ire] Figures.
* Ire sets it down on the table, leans forward, and moves Celin's file at the way. He then puts Selphie down as quit.
[Mahoraga] she escaped with the person that saved my sister..and someone else.
[Ire] Death Star and Cedarton.
[Mahoraga] I see..

* Stark continues doing science things
* Ire leans back in his seat, musing.

* Shroud is back in her skin-tight suit in the control room, her eyes as red as a bloodhound.
[Hotaru-chan] NRP: *decides simply not to use Hota's transformation 'til it's sorted out. Shouldn't be too hard*

[Stark] Normal bouncy ball! But then you do this! *grabs the pencil, stabs the ball with it and chucks it at a tree through the window, it explodes*

* Seiya is even taken up by that second alarm
* Ire stands up, still in the same bloody clothes from yesterday.

* Ire grabs a door of a hovercar and opens it.
* Ire sits in the driver's seat and begins to power the systems up.
[Ire] Computer: All Hunters on duty or interested in this, which is probably few, report to the hanger.

* Shroud is allready in the hangar.
[Ire] GM: *the complex's alarms begin to go off as other squads begin to mobilize*
[Stark] Busah day...
[Ire] If Cran's getting others involved, this is bad.
* Seiya heads to the hanger... seeming slightly interested in the fact some of her fingers have fused together

* Stark looks at Seiya
* Hotaru-chan heads to the hanger

[Shroud] I got the controls Ire.
* Mahoraga looks at the other hunters.

* Shroud flares up to full power right away.

[Ire] GM: *several shuttles near by take off and 5 hovercars drive off*

* Dias lands on the ground

* DeathStar looks at the thing in wounder.
[Hodges] ...wait...there's another power here.
* Selphie`Cao nods.. "Yeah, we'll be fine!"
* Cedarton glances at Hodges at the smoke from the blasts clear

* Adam` gets to his feet, clutching the sword at Chaos stands there

* Seiya looks at Choad, but oddly enough doesn't draw her sword.

[Chaos`] The vortex is the Mavericks'. Do not attempt to enter it. This is our sanctuary from now on. Away from humanity, in another dimension of our own.
* Dias quirks his eyebrow

* Selphie`Cao looks at DS.. "Do we fight him?"
* Ire raises his rifle and fires.
* Shroud clutches her ribs around tattered garmants and falls.

* Dias darts forward at Chaos, throwing a fist
[Chaos`] So we fight...?
[Cedarton] Hm.. but what of those who inhabit the other dimension?
* Adam` nods and sprints forward, running directly at Choas
* Selphie`Cao nods.

* DeathStar stands in front of Dias.

* Ire keeps his rifle trained on DS, his look not wavering.
* Dias looks up at DS then at Chaos
* Shroud tackles Ire.
* Selphie`Cao stares at Ire.. not moving a muscle
* Adam` aims the tip of the sword at DS
* Ire stumbles.
[Cedarton] Chaos, DS is awake to the situation.
[Adam`] Then we'll go right through you.
* DeathStar keeps his body in way of Chaos.

* Selphie`Cao pulls the trigger and the bullter flies where Ire Was...
* Chaos` begins to back away toward the portal.

* Cedarton glares at Hodges
* Dias tries to leap over DS and push his foot of DS's back
* Chaos` grins at Adam.

* Dias scoffs at Selphie

* Dias looks at Shroud

* Adam` kneels right where the vortex was, resting his forehead on the butt of his sword

* Ire turns his back on everyone, his coat torn.

* Shroud doesn't pay attention to Dias.

[Ire] General Cran: That vortex is not safe. We're going to have to get Chaos and his mavericks out of there, one way or another. *Walks off*
* Adam` sighs bitterly
[Shroud] I know the Hunters are wrong. Reploids are suffering because of us.

* Adam` gets to his feet, looking at Slasher
* Hodges remains standing in the remains of the base.
* Hodges walks over to Seiya and Hotaru, who have been quiet.

* Ire stands off from the rest of the group

* Adam` looks at where's Cedarton's standing
* Cedarton looks at Adam

* Cedarton looks at Hotaru
* Hotaru-chan throws her beam saber away.

* Ire stands in another building, Cran there, discussing things.
[Cedarton] There is a war starting, one you'll have to fight for what you hold dear.
* Slasher runs upto Ire and Cran

[Ire] Cran: Slasher.
[Hotaru-chan] ... whatever fancy words you dress it up in, all this fighting only achieves one thing.
[Hotaru-chan] Death.
* Cedarton nods
[Cedarton] I won't lie. Fighting means death.
[Dias] But from death comes life.
[Cedarton] But look at it this way, Hotaru..
* Iceheart walks around the old building, picking away at things.
[Slasher] From what I could see. Does this mean that they can open up those Vortex's anywhere?
* Seiya looks at Dias like he said something incredibly stupid
[Cedarton] If you don't fight, three.. maybe four times as many people will die as opposed to if you did fight.
* Adam` leans against the wall, right before where the building was split in half and sucked away
[Ire] General Cran: Doom's operating device opened up the vortexes automatically. It's totally random. And we're not sure how long the effects will last, but we're sure they'll stop opening soon. Which means the Mavericks will be sealed away in that dimension forever --- from us.
* Hotaru-chan looks at Dias, tilting her head.
* Dias stares blankly up at the sky
[Hotaru-chan] What do you mean? Both of you?
* Iceheart picks up a few of her items.
[Ire] We're going to launch a counter offensive against the vortex.
* Ire studies Slasher for his reaction.
[Cedarton] You have to fight so that more people can live.
* Cedarton stands
* Hotaru-chan nods
[Slasher] Isn't this what you wanted?
[Slasher] A solution to your problems.
[Cedarton] Keep your saber ready.
* Cedarton looks at her

[Ire] General Cran: That's the problem. I'd be happy for them if this would work, but it isn't. That dimension was sealed away from ours for a purpose. It's a part of this reality, but it holds great power. It was restoring Quartz.
[Slasher] If they're sealed away then what matters?
[Slasher] I thought you'd be glad that they'd leave.
[Cedarton] I said, keep your saber ready, you will have to fight again soon, I think.
[Ire] General Cran: Hodges senses something wrong about it. Something that could mean trouble. I trust Hodges' judgement. That's why I can't let them have it.
[Slasher] Your prodigy child....
[Slasher] It'd be shame if he was manipulating you..
[Cedarton] Shroud, you keep an eye on the people here. It's best you stay with your friends till you understand more.
* Cedarton joins Ire, Cran, and Slasher
[Ire] General Cran: *looks reserved, but nods at Ire* Be ready this afternoon. Your team is falling apart rapidly.
[Ire] I'll launch the offensive this afternoon, somehow.
[Slasher] I'll get the shutles ready.
[Ire] General Cran: We'll give you whatever back up we can.
[Hotaru-chan] ...

* Cedarton looks at them
* Ire looks at Cedarton.
* Slasher turns to Cedarton
[Shroud] 'Friends? If you can call them that?' *quietly to Ire.
[Hotaru-chan] I'm going to find a cure for Setsuna.
[Slasher] For someone who was just defending Chaos you seem to want to stop him now.
[Cedarton] I don't want to kill him, if that's what you mean.
* Cedarton looks at Slash
[Slasher] Who said anything about kill.
[Ire] General Cran: *walks off*

* Ire heads outside where the few remaining Hunters are.

[Ire] ...Maverick Hunters. The squad is going to launch an offensive against the next vortex that opens. We cannot let the mavericks own it. If you do not want this mission, then leave the squad to do what you do want.
[Cedarton] Destiny? That's the unknowable.

* Iceheart looks at Ire.
* Slasher smiles

* Adam` walks around the side of the building and meets up with the group with Ire
[Cedarton] Cran, I hope you trust my judgement.
* Cedarton turns, walking

* Iceheart stares at them all.

* Dias looks back down from the sky and sits down
