* Uplink makes whimpering sounds

[Speedblade] Though I like this magic idea...

* Uplink cries

[Lunarstrike] Location: Transport room, Shield HQ
* Novablade glares out into space menacingly his body having been slightly altered since the others left.
*** X1 has quit IRC
[Lunarstrike] I think I finally traced them down.
* Fortuna fidgets while holding BP's hand
[Novablade] good. Let's go.
* Flame flips his sabre hilt absently
[Fortuna] The hell is going on here?
[Flame] Hold your horses, Nova... Where exactly are they?
[Black_Phoenix] Sweets, I don't know exactly myself, but some of the team is missing.
* Lunarstrike hits a final key, and a picture appears on the monitor. A tent is seen near a campfire in the middle of the night. Speedblade, wearing a set of medieval armor, is pacing around the fire, as an unfamiliar person sleeps on the ground.
* Black_Phoenix looks at Speedblade in the armor and tries to keep from laughing.
[Lunarstrike] And there they are. Speedblade and... wait, this thing traced Shadowstorm's signal as well...
* Novablade ntices Uplink but doesn't mention who it is.
[Flame] Finding Speedblade, Fortuna
[Flame] Seems he's gone camping without inviting the rest of us...
* Fortuna is still fidgeting
[Novablade] If we know where they are ther's no reason for us to be here.
[Lunarstrike] ...Any volunteers to go after them? I can't open a portal near them for some reason... *watches the sun come up on the monitor*
[Black_Phoenix] NRP: Aaron's joining us.
[Black_Phoenix] Yeah, sure, I'll go.
[Flame] How come they can't jump back here though?

* Lunarstrike shakes his head
[Lunarstrike] I don't know... some force is keeping me from doing it... it's almost like something's trying to keep them there.

[Lunarstrike] I can easily open a portal a good distance away. If somebody wants to try it, I'm pretty sure it's two way.
[Novablade] WE're messing with multiple realities. Everything becomes a whole lot more complicated now.

* Novablade falls to silence, brooding.

[Tusk] GM: The monitor shows a campfire scene. A tent is set up, and the sun is coming up, but it is too dark to make out any faces.

* Avalon looks around, newly arrived

* Necron nods
[Tusk] Arenia, I want you to take care of the systems while I'm in... Velsan, I think it's called.
* Arenia nods

* Avalon ignores the urge to inquire about Velsan
* Arenia fires up a portal
[Arenia] That's as close as I can get you.
[Avalon] Well, I for one am ready to see this Velsan.
* Necron looks at Tusk
[Arenia] It seems that there is another distortion nearby...
* Tusk shakes his head
[Tusk] Who cares?
* Tusk runs into the portal
* Avalon hopes it is a city a long time ago
[Avalon] Well, this is hasty...
* Necron follows
* Avalon meanders into the portal
[Avalon] It is just the three of us.
[Speedblade] Party Switch: Parties 2 and 3 merge, making party 2. Party 2, RP.
* Tusk drops out of the portal, immediately noticing something different
* Avalon falls and catches himself, then wondering when he is
* Necron looks around.
* Black_Phoenix falls out of the portal screaming
* Novablade falls back as his shapeshifting alteration explodes him returning to his normal appearance.
[Tusk] GM: All members' armor/clothes have been replaced by sets of medieval armor. All weapons are now their metallic counterparts. All abilities are retained. All Reploids/cyborgs are now completely human.
* Avalon stares ahead and squints
* Novablade jumps up and summersaults to catch himself.
[Avalon] Well this is odd.
[Tusk] ...Shield! Again?!
* Flame surveys the area
[Avalon] And I don't like it a bit.
* Novablade looks at Avalon intently.
* Black_Phoenix hits the ground, but since Fortuna lands on top of him, he is not distrauhgt.
[Flame] Time Cops!
* Necron looks on.
* Avalon recognizes them, most of them...somewhat
[Tusk] ...Seems that we can't avoid each other. ...Wait, who are you?
* Tusk looks at Flame strangely
* Fortuna rubs her sore behind
[Tusk] You new to their force?
* Flame moves hand to his sabre and draws it, noticing it's now a real sword
[Avalon] Don't you remember that one?
* Novablade says nothing noticing that his former comrade is part of the opposition..

* Avalon smirks at Novablade
* Black_Phoenix squints at Necron.
[Avalon] I know where I am going.  Do you?
[Black_Phoenix] Nice armor dude.
* Necron nods
* Tusk draws his pistol, which now appears very primitive and weak

* Flame is getting acclimated to being human, feeling very odd
[Uplink] NRP: Hormones hitting you there, Flame?
[Black_Phoenix] Well, I don't wether to hug your neck or try to kill you.
* Necron looks at the Necross
* Avalon gets out his chalice and finds it is an actual chalice in its old form
[Tusk] ...Arenia! Was this supposed to happen?!

[Arenia] CommCops] Um... not that I can tell...
[Avalon] ...It is certianly more authentic now.
[Flame] ...*mutters* Why did I get talked into this...

* Black_Phoenix realizes his beam sabre is now a quarterstaff and he gets pissed.
* Tusk watches as his gun transforms in his hand, wrapping around his wrist and morphing into a crossbow
* Novablade takes out his plasma blade it now appearing as a broadsword with a slight redish glow now bearing runes.
[Tusk] ...Now THIS is strange...
* Avalon starts to hover around, an odd ability
[Avalon] Well, they can't be our lost members.
* Flame looks his arm, which now has a wrist crossbow instead of Inferno Flame
[Avalon] So where is this going?
[Tusk] ...Come on, Cops, our team is that way. *points in the direction that both teams' lost members are in*
* Necron looks at the huge Bow that was the zoa buster.
[Necron] Not bad.
[Novablade] We'll be going in that direction also.
[Flame] Uh, anyway, let's find the others and get out of here...
[Avalon] Well then, make it a carpool.
* Necron walks over to tusk.
* Flame runs his free hand through his red hair, not used to having hair
[Tusk] ...*sighs* Looks like we're working together again...
[Novablade] I wouldn't say that.
[Flame] Hmm... Nice sword though. *likes the flame pattern on it* Well, let's go...
[Flame] Let's just not get in each other's way...
* Necron nods
* Flame heads toward where the others area

* Avalon moves forward, but strays very close to the shield at times
* Black_Phoenix prays that no one tries to push him over
[Tusk] Sounds good to me... except...
* Fortuna is still in disbelief, and just goes along with everyone else

[Tusk] Everyone's over fifteen miles from here. There's a city less than a mile from here. My vote goes to finding some transportation.
[Avalon] Well, that is what I was hoping for.
[Black_Phoenix] I vote for that.
* Necron squints
* Tusk turns and jogs for the city
[Flame] ...These portals can't even get us near the location...

* Novablade sheaths his blade and gathers awareness..

* Speedblade drives his heels into his horse and gallops towards the town
* Uplink rides his horse backwards

* Shadowstorm appears a little awkward, but keeps pace

* Uplink rides around crazily

* Speedblade stops and dismounts

* Uplink twitches on the ground
[Hikari] ...I can barely ride a chaser...
* Speedblade draws his sword and holds it parallel to the ground
* Speedblade chants a spell, his sword surrounded by white energy. 1"Revitalize!" Speedblade thrusts his sword upwards. White energy surrounds Uplink, healing his life energy and injuries.
[Uplink] ....nyet....*holds head and sits up*
[Speedblade] You ok?

* Speedblade remounts his horse and takes off
* Uplink tries to climb back up on his horse, which is eating grass, and tumbles off
* Shadowstorm shakes his head
* Uplink adjusts his cracked glasses
[Shadowstorm] We might make it there before nightfall... I think the town we're looking for is Neirthe, not Lat-whatever.
* Speedblade nods
* Uplink leaps up, getting caught sideways and the horse takes off again
[Speedblade] Yeah, that. ...Maybe.

[Tusk] Location: The missing members' former campsite
* Tusk kicks at the doused fire

[Uplink] Vodka bottle: *can be seen on the ground*
[Avalon] This is going to turn into a complication.

* Flame looks for tracks

* Avalon first looks to see if the bottle is empty
[Tusk] GM: Flame sees horse tracks headed northeast.
* Black_Phoenix puts it in his shirt for later
[Flame] Aha. Horse tracks heading this way...

[Necron] Sharp today arent we?
[Tusk] Shut up, Necron.
[Avalon] Bottle is empty- I assume- they must have left on their own.
* Tusk remounts his horse - and tumbles off of the other side
[Black_Phoenix] Speaking of which, if they are on horses, then we will never find them without horses.
* Flame rubs neck, "And is it just me... or does this armor itch?"
[Uplink] NRP: Hee hee
* Necron laughs
[Tusk] ...I can't get used to this thing...
[Avalon] As long as they don't get lost, this shouldn't be too difficult.
* Novablade hovers through his gravity manipulators. "you know this shouldn't be working."
[Tusk] C'mon, let's follow 'em.
* Tusk successfully remounts the horse
* Necron mounts a horse easily
* Flame gets back onto his horse
* Necron Sneers at Tusk.
[Avalon] It seems like nothing works the way it should, in this place.
* Tusk looks uneasy as he clicks his tongue and urges the horse forward
[Flame] All right... uh, forward, my horse...
[Tusk] C'mon, GO!
[Necron] There is an advantage to being from the past.
* Black_Phoenix tries to get on his horse
* Avalon gets on to a horse, having the same attitude as with a chaser
* Tusk drives his heels into the horse's sides. The horse, terrified, breaks into a dead sprint.
[Tusk] GAAAAH!
* Fortuna does the same as BP
[Flame] Gallop, forward, move, now! *digs feet in horse's side and it breaks into a sprint*
[Flame] Whoa! *hangs on* Hey... I could get used to this... 
* Necron Gallops forward.

* Black_Phoenix gallops along, holding his privates and wincing in pain

* Tusk tries everything he can think of to get his horse to move faster

[Tusk] ...GO! *kicks the horse, making it screech to a halt and send Tusk flying forward*

* Novablade has no problem handling his horse.
* Tusk skids into the dirt and rolls for a few meters before coming to a stop
* Flame rides past Tusk's horse, then waves to Tusk, shaking his head

* Novablade laughs alittle at Tusk, but still remains rather silent.
[Avalon] This is not dignifying our organization.
[Flame] Whoa! *nearly falls of his horse after removing his hand to wave*

* Flame heads for the others
[Novablade] You know i've never noticed how frail humans are before this day.
* Tusk waves his hand around, his bow glowing red. 1"Speed!" Tusk's body blurs, and he begins running twice as fast, easily keeping up now.
[Avalon] I have...
* Avalon starts to laugh menacingly
* Necron looks on.
[Uplink] NRP: Menacingly laugh time.
[Speedblade] Party switch: Everyone, as party 2 catches up.
* Speedblade looks back
[Uplink] AYIII!
* Black_Phoenix is going fast as hell now, and can't seem to stop it
* Uplink bangs his head on the ground
[Avalon] NRP: I do it with stylishly
[Speedblade] ...Hey, it's... uh, some guys I vaguely recognize... the Cops and Shield...

* Speedblade stops. Shadowstorm does too.

[Uplink] Horse: *keeps running around with uplink being dragged along*

* Avalon stops and looks at them objectivly
* Flame rides up to the others, but, unfortunetly, keeps on riding past them
[Speedblade] ...Flame?! *bursts out laughing*
[Black_Phoenix] Stop you *incoherent cursing*
* Uplink is dragged past BP
* Novablade jumps off his mount and lightly says 'float ina different language then anyone else knows and he hovers to the ground.
[Flame] Uh... Hold on... Hey, stop, horse!
* Uplink is dragged past Flame next
[Flame] What's the command to stop a horse?! *mutters curses*
[Novablade] Seems strange..
[Speedblade] Uh... whoa!
* Necron is silent
* Speedblade 's horse looks back strangely

* Uplink is dragged past the rest, headnig off back the way he came
* Speedblade 's horse whinnies

* Tusk skids to a stop, on the ground
* Black_Phoenix rides past everyone and dissappears behind a hill. A loud crack is heard shortly thereafter.
[Shadowstorm] Hail, hail, the damn crowd's all here.
[Flame] Stop, dammit! *pulls back on his horse's reigns, finally suceeding to get the horse to slow to a stop*
[Novablade] me summersaults up to speed with amazing, almost inhuman agility.
[Avalon] Now what do we do, return to base I hope.
* Uplink is long gone now
[Novablade] NRP:that an action.
* Necron looks at the morons of the group.
[Speedblade] ...Yeah.
[Speedblade] So... you've saved us. Now what?
[Novablade] Time to go home Speed.
* Flame leaps off and lands, rubbing his leg, "Ow... Gotta get used to being a human..."
[Avalon] No real threats here.
[Flame] *leads his horse back to Speedblade* Anyway, you're safe now...
* Black_Phoenix walks back up the hill with a broken staff in his hand. 1"Teach that sonofabitch to stop."
[Tusk] [Comm] Arenia, bring us home.
[Tusk] AreniaComm] ...I can't! It's still blocked!
* Uplink is dragged back into view, passing everyone
[Uplink] AYIIIIIIII!
* Avalon sighs
[Avalon] Now the complications.
[Flame] [Comm] Hey, Shield Central, this is Flame... You still paying attention up there?
* Uplink fades off from view again
* Speedblade , fed up, swings his blazing red sword forward. 1"STUN!" A small burst of energy slams into Uplink's horse, stopping it in its tracks.
* Uplink slams into the ground

[Speedblade] LunarstrikeComm] I'm here... but I can't open a portal!
[Speedblade] ...Great, we're all stuck.
* Uplink wobbles back over, his glasses completely domlished
[Uplink] Can't see...da...where am I...?
[Flame] [Comm] Wonderful. So, uh, just where can you open a portal at?
* Uplink bumps into Avalon
* Avalon grins as he remembers the last time this happened
[Speedblade] LunarComm] The nearest place within 100 miles is inside the town just ahead of you's walls.
* Necron looks for his cigars.
* Tusk hits his forehead
[Avalon] I would spin you around, but the days for that are over.
[Speedblade] Oh, the irony, we were just headed there.
* Necron 's eyes get big.
* Uplink bumps into Necron

* Novablade becomes rather inquisitive for a second. "First of all I want to know why I could hover like that."
[Speedblade] Lunar] Uh... what's up, Speed?
[Speedblade] ...That town's been overtaken by a band of mercenaries!
[Flame] [Comm] What's so special about it?
[Tusk] ...It's never easy.

* Necron looks at uplink.

[Avalon] Mercenaries are worthy of exterminating.

* Necron walks forward.
[Speedblade] Lunar] I don't know... Somebody's blocking you from exiting for whatever reason...

[Novablade] We should affect this reality as little as possible Avalon.

* Uplink follows after them, barely, but follows

[Avalon] These are not naturally here, they only appeared when we did.

* Avalon is naturally going to carouse first
[Tusk] Speed is right... fighting appears to be the only way.
* Tusk cocks his wrist-crossbow
* Necron pulls out the Necross.
* Flame swings his sword around, getting the feel for it
[Novablade] Looks like we will end up working together again.
[Shadowstorm] Then let's kill first and ask questions later.
* Shadowstorm whips out two swords and attempts his normal cross-then-ignite draw, but ends up banging the swords together
[Shadowstorm] ...Oh yeah.
[Flame] Fine, let's exercise some stealth though... 
* Speedblade nods

* Necron pulls out his bow.
* Uplink walks around, blind, toward the city

* Avalon fires off a bolt of Dark Lightning at the ground

[Avalon] There, one thing remains at least.
* Speedblade makes the illusion of Avalon fall as it is hit by an arrow

* Flame tries to keep out of the archers sight, heading for the entrance, sword drawn

* Shadowstorm fades into the shadows and sneaks to the entrance

* Avalon ignores them once inside and looks around
* Speedblade whips around and chants a spell, letting the illusions fall, and swings his sword around, letting a wave of fire lance at the archers.
