History:
Cheryl was the third Alpha created, and the first to have a completely independent personality and mind. Not based off the exact designs of "Mother", she is the closest thing that Ariel has to a sister, rather than her daughter. Created from the DNA of General Alexander Cran as well as Ariel, she has high intelligence and strength, though she downplays her smarts whenever she can manage. Traumatized during the Ridiarium War, Cheryl began a destructive path through life, believing she would die on her 16th birthday. However, the efforts of her friends, and especially Chii, drew her back from the brink, and she was given a full lease on life thanks to their efforts. Still a brawler, berserker, and a drinker, Cheryl has softend a lot, thanks to her girlfriend, Chii, despite not being gay by her own account. She also has a son, called Benjamin Michael, that she conceived after having sex with Warren Carmichael. She is the only Alpha so far that has the capability to get pregnant. Her bond partner is also Chii, and the two of them continue to reach new heights of power.
After General Gordon Paladin was no longer capable of commanding the unit, Cheryl stepped up into the role, especially when her son Benjamin was captured by an alternate version of Dias. Once they managed to anaylze the designs for switching realities, Cheryl led a unit of people willing to go into the multiverse in order to save it not only from a group of people going around collecting reality crystals, including their own reality's crystal, but to stop a spreading corruption that destroys entire realities in the form of a Tsivrixsh corrupted goo - though for Cheryl the highest priority is to find her son. Before leaving on the mission, she asked Chii to marry her and the two wed on the night before they left into the multiverse.
Currently Cheryl is struggling to lead a group of people, used to her independence and following others' orders, and the fact that all she really wants to do is save her son Benjamin, despite the fact each reality seems to be in a crisis that needs solving. Only time will tell just how far Cheryl will go to complete her mission and just who will be able to keep her from going over the edge completely. |
