<DeathStar> Location: Castle Vox
<DeathStar> 6* After a whole day and a half having gotten past the various checkpoints into the castle's security system, the three women have successfull inflitrated the base. Setsuna and Cassandra work the lower levels, preparing meals and making the beds, while Erevis has managed to become one of Vox's close "assistants". Currently, the guard change is at 11 at night, which gives them a window of ten minutes to get in the vault.
<DeathStar> 6* The current time is at 10:15
<DeathStar> 6* The scene opens up with Setsuna and Cassandra cleaning the kitchen area, after having finished a meal for the various troops at Vox Castle. The top-general has retired to his room. Erevis is currently serving Vox his night drinks. And Darien/Xanatos are in his shuttle, monitoring the feedback from the contact lens
<Cassandra`Arakawa> ...its time.
<DeathStar> <Darien on Comm> Remember, you need to meet Erevis outside Vox's room for his thumbprint. It might be better to get that before the eye, unless you two think you can hide the body first.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> *c* We'll play it safe then. Setsuna, proceed to the rendevous with Erevis.
<Setsuna`> *c* Awknowledged.
* Setsuna` puts aside what she was doing, and makes her way towards Vox's room
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis takes one of Vox's empty glasses. "I will get you more refreshments." 6She notes to Vox, stepping out of his room.
* Xanatos`Durran sits there beside Darien, keep quiet so they can focus.
* Cassandra`Arakawa heads up with Setsuna as well...
* Setsuna` slides up beside Erevis, and exchanges cups.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods to Setsuna, moving inside Vox's room again after the exchange.
* Setsuna` starts back to meet up with Cass.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> ...next stop...the general... *heads for the general's door*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis moves back inside, pouring Vox more drinks. He grabs her hand suddenly. "Here, have some." 6He mixes a drink and hands it to her. Erevis makes a face, but takes the drink and throws it back. Vox laughs with pleasure, apparantly liking that.
* Xanatos`Durran scowls. "...If she gets drunk, it'll be bad." He says to Darien only.
<DeathStar> <Darien> How bad?
<DeathStar> 6* Vox drinks another glass, handing Erevis a second glass. She sits there, drinking it.
* Xanatos`Durran quickly recounts what happened last time Xan got Erevis drunk, on New Years.
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra and Setsuna arrive outside the general's door. It is locked.
* Setsuna` glances to Cass, having removed the fingerprint, and ditched the cup, on the way.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien frowns, keeping an eye on Erevis' camera before glancing back at Cassandra and Setsuna's.
<Xanatos`Durran> And we can't do anythng about it. *he sighs*
* Setsuna` listens to the door, trying to hear if the General is inside.
<DeathStar> 6* There appears to be movement in side now and again.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> *whisper* ...pick the lock.
<DeathStar> <Darien on Comm> 10:35. 6He notes.
* Setsuna` nods, and removes a hairpin to do her thing.
<DeathStar> 6* The door unlocks.
* Setsuna` slips inside first, taking survey of the room
* Cassandra`Arakawa waits just outside...
<DeathStar> 6* The general has his back to Setsuna, sitting at his desk and drinking his alcohol.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sits there quietly, glancing at Erevis' monitor, where Vox keeps talking to her about things, more so than normal.
* Setsuna` wishes she had room for even a knife... she moves in quick, taking his head from behind, and jabbing her hand up hard into a soft spot under his jaw to collapse his windpipe
<DeathStar> 6* The general struggles in surprise, his eyes widening in panic
* Cassandra`Arakawa keeps an eye out...
* Setsuna` brings her elbow around to slam into the base of his skull. If he goes down easy, he might very well survive this. But he'll be taking a LONG nap.
<DeathStar> 6* The general topples over, not the same species as Vox.
* Setsuna` quickly checks for some tape, and a spoon.
<Setsuna`> NRP: And some sort of plastic bag... and she's putting some ice in that, if he has any <.<
<DeathStar> 6* All the materials Setsuna finds, since today is the general's lucky day. Or not.
<DeathStar> <Darien on Comm> 10:45. 6He notes.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> ..hurry up...
* Setsuna` looks to Cass, and gestures for her to help. She quickly binds him, covers his mouth, pops the eye out with the spoon, and into the bag. She was going to move him, but not enough time.
<DeathStar> <Darien on Comm> Ewwww.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Now...come on.
* Xanatos`Durran frowns. <Comm> I thought I'd seen it on.
* Setsuna` nods, and rejoins Cass. No place she can hide the eye.
<Xanatos`Durran> NRP: all* :S
<DeathStar> 6* Darien keeps his eyes primarily on Setsuna and Cassandra's monitors, since they are in the danger zone. "Okay, according to the plans, we have to go down to the basement." 6He begins to give them directions,.
* Xanatos`Durran keeps his eyes on Erevis. Worried about her.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis' monitor keeps drooping in and out, as if Erevis is blinking more than normal.
* Cassandra`Arakawa nods and proceeds along the described path...
* Xanatos`Durran scowls. Wishing he knew what to do.
<DeathStar> <Darien on Comm> Now remember, it's going to take both of you to access the vault at the same time and to disable whatever defenses are inside. There's rumors there's a laser grid inside, too.
<DeathStar> 6* As Darien gives them directions, they come across a random patrol, walking down the hallway they need to travel
* Setsuna` folds her arms behind her back, looking cute, and offers the patrol a little smile as she walks past
<DeathStar> 6* Darien holds his breath as the patrol lets them go without so much as a glance. "I don't believe it."
<Cassandra`Arakawa> *c* ....just need to look like we belong...
<DeathStar> 6* Darien begins to give them the directions again, leading them to a stairwell
<Xanatos`Durran> And I thought I was a sucker for half naked assassins...*he mumbles*
<DeathStar> <Darien> You'll have to go down two floors on this stairwell. It's restricted, so don't get caught on it.
* Cassandra`Arakawa nods and starts down...
<DeathStar> 6* As they begin to travel down the stairwell, they can hear voices from above. Someone is moving down the stairwell, too, though they appear to be 3 floors above them
* Cassandra`Arakawa continues downward quickly and quietly...
* Setsuna` quickly keeps pace
<DeathStar> 6* The two arrive at the right door, with the people 2 floors above them by now
<DeathStar> <Darien on Comm> That's the one.
* Cassandra`Arakawa tries the door...
<DeathStar> 6* It's locked.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> ...open it...
* Setsuna` quickly trys to pick the lock
<DeathStar> 6* She unlocks it just as they're about to come into view.
* Setsuna` slips inside quickly
* Cassandra`Arakawa slips in quickly
<DeathStar> 6* They escape detection
<DeathStar> <Darien on Comm> Alright, it's 10:58. Up ahead is the vault. You should be able to make out the two guards in front of it. Their shift change is in two minues.
* Setsuna` finds a place to stay obscured, until it's time.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis groans suddenly, drawing Darien's attention. <Erevis> My head..I can't... <Vox> Heh heh. Can't think, my dear?
* Cassandra`Arakawa conceals herself...
* Xanatos`Durran tenses up. "Damnit..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> What in the bloody hell... 6He says, not on the comm.
<Xanatos`Durran> Something wrong. *he says after a moment*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> You... drugged me... 6She stumbles forward, kneeling there. <Vox> Yes. I have an implant that alerts me to psionics, and I knew your thoughts and plans long before you did. And now I gave you something to neutralize your abilities." 6Vox grabs her by the throat.
<DeathStar> <Darien on Comm> Setsuna, Cass - be on guard, your cover might be blown. 6He warns, eyeing the time. 11:00. The guards begin to walk away from the vault, leaving a small window of time now.
* Xanatos`Durran stands up. But pauses. "I have to do something Darien."
* Cassandra`Arakawa waits for them to pass before moving in...
* Setsuna` nods, and moves quickly. She tosses Cass the eye, and goes to the fingerprint reader.
<DeathStar> <Darien> You can't get past those defenses without alerting the base and putting Cass and Setsuna in danger.
* Cassandra`Arakawa pulls the eye out of the bag and moves for the sensor...
<Cassandra`Arakawa> On three...1...2...3
* Setsuna` moves the print to the reader in synch with Cass.
<DeathStar> 6* Vox slams Erevis against the wall. "You dare come in here alone and try to take my operations down? Foolish little 'god'. I will defile your body in so many different ways you will beg for death."
* Xanatos`Durran begins to shake. "Darien...I wont stand by. Not this time."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grabs Xanatos. "You risk everyone's life - this entire camp - if you go in there."
<DeathStar> 6* The vault door opens, revealing a complex security grid.
<DeathStar> 6* Which constantly changes.
* Xanatos`Durran glares at Darien. "A typical answer from you."
<Setsuna`> "...fun."
* Cassandra`Arakawa watches the grid for a moment...letting her systems crunch some numbers...
<DeathStar> <Vox> You're trembling in fear. 6He tells Erevis, who eyes him angerily, the monitor giving Darien and Xanatos a close up of his face.
* Setsuna` watches the system as well. This guy is paranoid.
* Xanatos`Durran turns and starts to walk off of the shuttle.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Never. 6She spits in his face. She then struggles to break free, ripping out the contact lense and the comm. link, blinking out the feedback.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien slams his fist down on the controls.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Goddammit.
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra and Setsuna finally see a pattern.
* Setsuna` looks to Cass for confirmation.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Got it... *goes through the grid, according to the pattern*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns to face XAnatos. "Get back in here. I got a plan."
* Xanatos`Durran slides to a stop and glances back at Darien. "Let's hurry then."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lifts the shuttle up, issuing orders to the camp to attack. "We have to pray those two destroy the generator in the next five minutes, or this is all for naught."
<DeathStar> 6* They reach the other side, revealing where the goods in the fault - including the power generator, and a large steel box.
* Setsuna` goes for the box. She's not as good with machines as she is with infiltration.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Take the box...I've got the machinery. *moves for the generator*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shoves his controls forward, arming his rockets. He doesn't bother to speak that even five minutes will be five minutes too long to get to Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle flies up and away from camp toward the castle.
* Cassandra`Arakawa then plants her hands on the generator and shuts off her power limiters as she starts to literally tear into it!
* Xanatos`Durran stands beside the ramp, ready to jump out at a moments notice.e
<DeathStar> 6* The generator begins to spark, then threatens to overload.
* Setsuna` starts back through, not wanting to be around that.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Gotta go! *starts back through the grid*
<Setsuna`> "Well ahead of you." *darts*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien's shuttle comes into view of the castle. Suddenly, the generator explodes behind Cass and Setsuna. All the defenses shut down
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Back up to pick up Erevis! *heads for the stairs*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien flies over Vox's part of the castle, keeping the shuttle steady
* Xanatos`Durran lowers the ramp, pulling out both beam sabers.
<DeathStar> 6* As they reach the stairs, two guards burst out and fire at Cass and Setsuna
<Setsuna`> NRP: From the front, or behind?
<DeathStar> NRP: Front.
* Cassandra`Arakawa dodges the fire as she closes with the guards, ducking down low and then putting a full force punch into the guy's belly.
<DeathStar> 6* The guard is punched, his belly being mangled by Cass's power.
* Setsuna` has her hands full at the moment, she ducks low, then leaps, planting one foot against the man's chest, then kneeing him in the face. How she wishes she could grab his gun.
* Xanatos`Durran dashes to the end of the ramp and jumps soaring toward the window, he cuts at the window in an X, going through it.
* Cassandra`Arakawa grabs hold of the guy's gun as she tosses him over and back, continuing right through and up the stairs
<DeathStar> 6* Both guards go down.
<DeathStar> 6* AS Durran smashes into the window, he would find Vox kneeling over Erevis on the bed, his hand around her throat. He turns to look at him.
<Xanatos`Durran> Yo. *he says lazily, spinning his beam sabers*
* Cassandra`Arakawa heads on up and for Vox's quarters...
<DeathStar> 6* Vox steps away from Erevis, He sneers. "There were others?"
* Xanatos`Durran instantly moves in, slashing the right saber down at him.
<DeathStar> 6* Vox moves out of the way, punching Durran in the side and instantly breaking a few ribs. He is a powerhouse.
<DeathStar> 6* Cass and Setsuna arrive outside Vox's room.
* Xanatos`Durran urks and slides back. "Tough shit aren't you." He spits blood out of his mouth. Teasing Vox to attack.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> ...she's not here... *c* Sir, what is going on?!
<DeathStar> <Darien on Comm> They're in there somewhere. Are you sure you--- 6Just as he says that, Vox punches XAnatos right through the wall, near where Cass and Setsuns are.
* Xanatos`Durran slides across the ground, pulling himself up slowly, spitting more blood off to the side. "Fucker is like a rock." He grimaces, running in.
<DeathStar> 6* Vox sneers. "Your woman begged me like a dog."
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Hell! Setsuna, get in there and grab Erevis! We're evacing now!
<Xanatos`Durran> Psh. She's much to proud. *he notes darkly*
<DeathStar> 6* Vox throws a punch for Durran's head.
* Xanatos`Durran jumps back, swinging his left saber up at Vox's hand.
<DeathStar> 6* The saber cuts into his hand half-way, stopping. Vox roars in an outrage.
* Cassandra`Arakawa rips the door off of its hinges and goes into Vox's room.
* Xanatos`Durran pulls it back, all the while swinging the right saber toward Vox's chest.
<DeathStar> 6* Vox's room is a mess as he and Durran smash around in it. Erevis is over in the bed, obviously marks around her throat, and her clothes torn a bit
<DeathStar> 6* Vox is stabbed in the chest. He roars in anger and tries to break Durran's arm.
* Xanatos`Durran urks as his arm is easily snapped by the man, he jerk it back and kicks his foot out for the saber lodges in Vox's chest. A rage burning brightly in his eyes.

<DeathStar> 6* Vox is stabbed further in the chest, his eyes bulging in rage as he bleeds.
* Cassandra`Arakawa grabs a hold of Erevis and head out the way Xan came in.
* Xanatos`Durran swings the left saber back for Vox's hand, aiming to finish it off.
<Xanatos`Durran> NRP: Through the window. :D
<DeathStar> 6* Darien watches them get on the shuttle.
* Setsuna` heads after. She couldn't do much to grab creepy, her hands are full
<DeathStar> 6* Vox loses his hand finally.
* Cassandra`Arakawa lays Erevis out and then straps her in...then she grabs a weapons case and starts readying her rail gun...
* Xanatos`Durran swings the the left saber for Vox's next, not about to lose momentum.
<DeathStar> 6* Vox steps back, swinging his only hand for Durran's jaw, aiming to break it if he can.
* Setsuna` secures the box under her seat, hoping she's not expected to drive. Well, better her than Cass.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Setsuna, tie down that case. *hooks herself up to stabilize her and then takes aim through the window...waiting for an opportunity*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks back at the bruised Erevis, who seems to be awake, but unresponsive.
* Xanatos`Durran gets it and slides across the floor, he pulls himself up, about to make a snide remark, but winnces in pain, he slides for the window quickly. Deciding he's been beat on enough.
<DeathStar> 6* Vox chases after Durran, come into view of the window.
* Cassandra`Arakawa takes the shot for the head.
* Xanatos`Durran ducks when he sees Cass, not wanting to feel the burns from that.
<DeathStar> 6* BOOM. Vox falls over, headless.
<DeathStar> 6* Meanwhile, the rebel faction has taken over the castle, it appears, with the defenses down.
* Xanatos`Durran stumbles onto the shuttle and closes the ramp.
* Setsuna` just whistles.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien pulls away, zooms away from the castle.
* Xanatos`Durran moves over and kneels beside Erevis, placing a hand on her face.
* Cassandra`Arakawa puts the gun away...
<Xanatos`Durran> NRP: His left one. :D
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis flinches upon his touch, still staring blankly at nothing
<Xanatos`Durran> Er....rev..is. *he struggles to say through a broke jaw*
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Xan, you need medical attention now.
<Setsuna`> "...I think creepy does too."
* Xanatos`Durran removes his hand from Erevis' face and holds a middle finger up to Cass. *he moves so that he could look into Erevis' eyes, once again laying his hand genntly on her face*
<Xanatos`Durran> NRP: Dunno why I used those ** things.
<DeathStar> 6* He gets the same flinch, and no response. Darien rubs his face. "We'll land in the camp and get medical attention." 6He says, bringing them back down in the camp.
* Xanatos`Durran searches desperately in her eyes. Then moves to put his coat over her. Kneeling there with a frown.

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl checks out her weapons one last time. "I'm read to go."
* Ariel nods, adjusting her 'uniform'. "And the others? I expect they will attempt to be difficult about this."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr appears to be asleep in her bed still
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I could tie them up.
* Dias lies asleep on the couch, half his body hanging on the floor.
<Ariel> "No. That would have little practical use, besides insulting them."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl opens the door to leave the hotel room.
* Ariel heads after Cheryl, hoping Zephyr has some common sense about this.
<DeathStar> 6* After they both leave, Zephyr opens her eyes, glancing around.
* Dias begins snoring, he rubs his nose.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl moves over to a rental vehicle she got last night, taking the driver's seat.
* Ariel takes the passenger side. "..keep vigilant during all of this."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I will. 6She begins to drive forward, pulling onto the streets and away from the hotel.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr hops off the bed, wearing nothing but a large shirt for sleeping in. She shakes Dias. "Wake up." 6She tells Dias, then moves over to get dressed.
* Dias stirs awake and looks at Zephyr. 1"Huh?"
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> They just left.
* Dias stands up from his akward position and stretches, rubbing his eyes.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl begins to exit the city, following a road. Up ahead there appears to be a base set up, with gates around it and everything. However, the entrance has been left fully open.
<Ariel> "...inviting."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl slows down, obviously looking for traps.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr is fully dressed in minutes, opening the hotel door and peaking out.
* Dias puts on a dark gray sweathshirt. He then looks over at Zephyr. 1"Ready?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr gives him a thumbs up and begins to hurry out.
* Dias hurries out after her then stops and shuts the door behind him. He then turns and folows after her.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr hops onto one of two bicycles she borrowed. She begins to cycle after them.
* Dias grabs the bicycle eyeing it oddly. He hops onto it and falls over.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr makes a face, then motions for him to ride on hers with her.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl drives onto the base, parking the car. Avalon is standing in front of a building.
* Dias gets up then moves over and hops onto her bike.
<Dias> Sorry...
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> It's okay.
<DeathStar> <Avalon> Welcome. So I see only two of you came. 6He notes.
* Ariel steps out, "The other two are unsuited for this sort of thing."
<DeathStar> <Avalon> Of course. 6He notes easily enough, motioning for them to follow him. He turns and steps into the building.
* Ariel looks to Cheryl, then follows
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I don't like this. 6She repeats.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon leads them into a room where a platform is set up. He steps onto the platform, radioing in a name they can't hear.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl steps onto the platform next, glancing around for traps. She eyes Avalon darkly.
* Ariel steps up as well. "...a ring? You took your time to prepare this."
<DeathStar> <Avalon> I have a flair for dramatics. 6He activates the platform and they lower into the middle of an arena. He walks away, and is joined by the woman with the lance. "This is Vyn."
* Ariel bows her head to Vyn. Even if mortal enemies, she's going to give her respect until she showed she was undeserving of it.
<DeathStar> 6* Vyn spins her lance, nodding once to Ariel in return. Avalon walks over to her side, turning to face Ariel and Cheryl.
<DeathStar> <Avalon> As you can see... 6He points behind him to where a box is located. "The materials you want."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> So all we have to do is go through you two to get them. 6She says, almost satisfied.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon unsheathes his sword, swinging it once. "Yes."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl activates her energy whip, cracking it once. Vyn spins the lance rapidly, stepping off to the side to face Cheryl, leaving Avalon to Ariel.
* Ariel slides into a fighting posistion, forming her own blade. "Then so be it."
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon swings his sword, sending an energy wave toward Ariel.
* Ariel rolls to the side, not about to be hit by something like that, so early.
<DeathStar> 6* Avlaon leaps forward as she's rolling, moving with incredible speed, more so than last time. He's already upon her before her rolls finishes, swinging his blade down at her.
* Ariel brings her blade up to parry. She expected he was holding back, but this was more than she accounted for.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon tries to use brute strength against her parry, attempting to force her blade down.
* Ariel tilts her blade, letting Avalon's aim slide off just enough for her to leap to one side as her own blade disolves. Right now, she needs some space.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon spins, watching her leap to the side. He swings twice, sending one energy wave high and one low
<Ariel> NRP: I need to pause a sec... I can't do this until I stop hacking @.@
<DeathStar> NRP: Sure. Take your time.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr and Dias, meanwhile, finally arrive at the base. Zephyr peers in. "I wonder if they're okay."
<Dias> Of course. *he says nodding*
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr chews on her bottom lip, obviously wanting to help.
<DeathStar> <Voice> Well, hello, little Dragoon. Welcome to the party. 6It comes from behind Zephyr and Dias.
* Dias turns around eyeing the voice.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr spins around to find the woman with green hair holding the gun. <Woman> I am Vector.
<Dias> Dias...*he says*
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I'm Zephyr.
* Ariel is unable to get clear of both in time, and braces herself against the lower one.
<DeathStar> 6* The energy wave, while damaging, also has great force to try to knock a person back, if possible. Avalon, not waiting to see if it's succeeded in doing that, dives forward, swinging his blade in a quick horizontal cut.
<DeathStar> <Vector> Now that you are here. We can begin. 6She aims her weapon at them both, but Zephyr puts out an arm. <Zephyr> Are we not suppose to fight one on one?
* Ariel partially achieved what she wanted then. Distance. As Avalon charges forward, she relies on the dust to obscure her position as she leaps up, bring her blade down towards him from above.
* Dias looks at Vector then at Zephyr.
<Dias> No..
<Dias> No fight.
<DeathStar> <Vector> Boy, she has no choice. 6She aims her gun at Zephyr and fires.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon twists, glancing up just in time to bring his blade up in a horizontal parry
* Dias shoves Zephyr out of the way.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr bounces once. Vector is suddenly upon Dias, then shoves her hand against the side of his head and sends a powerful electrical current through his brain.
* Dias stands there, then suddenly drops to his knees, then falls backwards.
* Ariel pushes now that she hopes Avalon is taking the turn to be off balance. She puts all of her strength into pushing him back.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> DIAS!
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon strains, his footing on the sand precarious. He attempts to throw himself backwards to get out of the way of her.
<DeathStar> 6* Vector fires at Zephyr, who dives out of the way, forming her own rail gun. She shoots Vector.
* Ariel lunges at that moment, swinging her blade in a wide, downwards slash.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon is slashed, a crack appearing in his red armor. He stands there, surprised.
* Ariel takes two half steps back, not about to take advantage of Avalon's moment of weakness.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon composes himself. "Very good."
* Ariel nods her head slightly, not taking her eyes off him. "You have thought out every aspect of this, have you not?"
<DeathStar> <Avalon> I'm ready for most anything. 6He doesn't even focus on Cheryl's battle with Vyn
<Ariel> *shifts slowly* "And you're confident in the ability of your hand picked combatants? Or were they specifically trained for this task."
<DeathStar> <Avalon> Each one of us is an even match for one of you.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon begins to circle Ariel.
<Ariel> "As far as I have seen, you have one oversight..." *shifts her blade to her side, holding it in two hands*
<DeathStar> <Avalon> And what is that?
* Ariel darts forward. Just before Avalon, she seems to trip, one leg folding under her. But it gives her enough intertia to pivot on the other leg, bringing her blade around in a wide horizontal swing. "You shall learn that yourself."
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon parries briefly, then swings his sword free from her sword, unleashing an energy wave at the same time.
* Ariel is knocked back by the blast, rolling limply across the arena floor.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon dashes across toward her, throwing up sand and dust as he moves like lightning. He tries to swings his sword up off the ground and into her while she's still laying there.
* Ariel flips backwards suddenly, bringing her sword up as soon as Avalon comes into reach.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon is forced to twist and cancel his attack, barely moving out of the way the attack, and causing him to dive away.
* Ariel lunges forward again. Swinging her blade to force Avalon to block, before putting a little extra spring into a boot to the head.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon parries, ducking the kick. SUddenly, the ceiling rumbles. Avalon, Cheryl, and Vyn all look up as it explodes from a rail gun shot and Zephyr crashes into the middle of the arena, bloodied and crumbled.
* Ariel hesitates at this, "Zephyr!"
<DeathStar> 6* Vector leaps through, obviously the vector
<DeathStar> <Avalon> What in the hell?
<Dias> NRP: Victor...
<DeathStar> NRP: LOL
* Ariel seems to almost forget about Avalon, as she runs over to check on Zephyr.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr appears to barely be responsive. Cheryl dashes over, kneeling there in a panic. <Cheryl> She's not good.
* Ariel winces, "...I thought I told you... to sit out this one..."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> W-Wante...d to..he-help...
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon makes no move to take advantage of this situation.
<Ariel> "...Cheryl. Get her help. I will finish things up here."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl nods grimly, scooping Zephyr up in her arms fragilely and begins to leave. Vector stares. "You're letting her get away?!" <Avalon> If you move to stop them, I will put you down, Vector.
* Ariel bows her to Avalon, then takes up her stance.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon holds up his sword again, getting into his battle stance.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon dashes forward, swinging his sword at her.

* Ariel meets Avalon head on. She's much more determined this time, anger slipping around her serene mask. She brings her blade upward with all of her strength. Once again, her blade is aimed at Avalon's sword, rather than himself.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon connects his sword with her sword, standing there as the power of their swings smash into each other
* Ariel quickly lets her blade vanish, and Avalon's slam into the ground. She pushes forward, slamming an open hand into his chest, surrounded in an energy field.
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon is hit and knocked backwards, slamming onto the ground roughly much to the surprise of Vector and Vyn. Avalon gets into a kneeling position, eyeing her.
<DeathStar> <Avalon> I have underestimated you again.
* Ariel slides back to a neutral posistion. "...you shouldn't have involved her. She was not ment to be part of this."
<DeathStar> <Vector> She came here for battle, did she not? 6She speaks up, keeping her gun ready
<Ariel> "She didn't understand the situation. She didn't realize what she was in for. You took advantage of that."
* Ariel narrows her eyes at Vector, then looks to Avalon.
<DeathStar> <Avalon> You are correct. 6He says, standing up fully. "You may take your belongings and go unharassed, or we may continue this fight here and now."
<Ariel> "...will you answer me one thing?"
<DeathStar> <Avalon> ... very well.
<Ariel> "What reason is there that you need to harass us?"
<DeathStar> <Avalon> You really do not remember the past. ... Our histories are more intertwined than you think. It is our destiny to kill you all. 6He slings his sword over his shoulder. "And right now you are the last of your kind that we know about."
* Ariel nods slowly, "I have no quarrel with you, but I cannot let you kill me or my children." She starts towards the items.

* `Cole is with Warren, deciding he would be useless out in the unknowns of the Erusia city. "Xevil.." He sighs. "Knew he wouldn't stay dead."
* Rylon stands outside with Warren, looking frustrated, annoyed, and stressed.
<Shiva> I'm here on behalf of The Cartel/Erusian Alliance.
<Arhn> Ambassador Sevinites...it is good to see you once again.

<Rylon> 14"Depends on what you call "Leads" I found rumors there was a suspicion character in Ju'vel City, but by the time I got there..it seemed everything was normal. I can't say I'm happy with the results..I wanted to see if it was really Xevil..so I could rip his face off" 2His scowl returned
* Arhn nods to Shiva's image on the screen.

<Shiva> Of course. Our 1st Division will be appearing soon enough. The rest of the fleets getting reorganized.
<DeathStar> <Lombardia> Good. Would you prefer to come planet-side or should I send Arhnya up there to meet you?
<Shiva> Well if she would like to see the proto-type ship first hand she could come.
* `Cole crosses his arms. "If he is really here to make alliances with the Meyr, will you still fight for them?" He glances at Ry.
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia glances at Arhn to see what she desires.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren studies Ry, too, curious in his answer.
<Arhn> I shall go up.
<DeathStar> <Lombardia> Very well. Take whoever you wish with you.
<Rylon> 14"First off, I'm going to make something clear..I believe in the Myhrs beliefs, but I follow my fathers theory about doing it..peacefully. At this point..if the Myhr deal with the Tsivrisxh..well.." 2He looks down. 14"I think I'm going to just leave"
* `Cole nods lightly. "Good. Cause I'd hate to have to shoot you, my friend." He smirks.
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia prepares a personal shuttle for Arhn.
<Rylon> 14"By that comment..I'm assuming your staying"
* Arhn then departs...
<`Cole> NRP: Did she just leave us?
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia closes the communication with shiva.
<DeathStar> NRP: *Arhn goes up alone and leaves the planet. Cole and Warren and Ry die horrible deaths*
* `Cole laughs. "Why would I even bother with a planet that i'm not even from?"
<Rylon> 14"Then why the hell would you shoot me!?"
<Arhn> NRP: I thought they were in anotehr room.
* `Cole grins. "You would be betraying this group. We have another mission, incase you forgot."
<DeathStar> NRP: They're outside, yes.
<Arhn> Well, are you gentlement available?
<Rylon> 14"The Black Angel? I havn't forgotten, why do you think I'm still here?"
<DeathStar> 6* Warren glances up at Arhn. "We're doing somewhere?"
<`Cole> I don't take to kindly to betrayal. *he notes before looking to Arhn*

<Arhn> Shiva is here...or in orbit rather. We are going to meet her.
* `Cole arches a brow. "Oh.." he frowns.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren nods, moving to get on the shuttle with ARhn.
<Rylon> 14"Been a while since I've seen her, wonder if she'll still toss the...shooting her incident down my throat"

* Arhn heads for the shuttle...
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle flies up and docks with the Cartel/Erusian prototype ship.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren steps off the shuttle, glancing around the hanger.
<Arhn> They are already ahead of schedule...good.
* Rylon steps off after. 14"Nice place"
* `Cole remains quiet as he moves into the hanger.
* Shiva steps onto the hanger, wearing a black dress.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren eyes Shiva.
* Shiva tilts her head a seductive look on her face when she spots Warren. 1"Warren Carmichael...My my my have we only improved in looks.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren raises an eyebrow, clad in his black attire of a trench coat, shirt, and pants. "Sevenites. I see you have no changed."
* Rylon cross's arms.

<Arhn> I am pleased to see that you ahve already gotten ahead of schedule on our projects.
<DeathStar> NRP: Warren can't speak english properly anymore it seems.
* Shiva sticks her tongue out at Warren. 1"Well it's only about 70% fully functional. There are several systems and sub-systems currently offline.
* `Cole stands there, brown to Warren's black. He smiles lightly at Shiva.
<Shiva> And I see the Royal Guard's still made it alive.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren glances around, suspiciously.
* Shiva glances at Warren. 1"Something up?
<DeathStar> <Warren> No. I imagine not. 6He says, clearly tense. It would appear he's been like this for weeks.
<Rylon> 14"He's always like this now..with the civil conflict going on"
<Shiva> Drink less coffee.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Now I must ask. What are the Cartel going to do if civil war breaks out?
<`Cole> You look well Miss Shiva.
<Shiva> Always do!
<Shiva> Well since we signed the treaty with the Yloi...but we'd prefer there not be a war.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren crosses his arms, glancing at Arhn. "And what are you going to do?"
<Arhn> What I must...
<`Cole> Hmph. Stupid war. *he says with a scowl*
<DeathStar> 6* Warren frowns.
<Shiva> So how bad is the situation?
<Arhn> I'm not really certain...all I have is unconfirmed hearsay.
<Shiva> Then tell me what you've heard so I have an idea of how long before this blows up if it does.
<DeathStar> <Warren> It would appear Xevil is planetside. 6He notes.
<Shiva> ...Xevil?
<DeathStar> NRP: *They all argue how to pronounce it*
<Shiva> ...What's he doing planetsidE?
<DeathStar> 6* Warren glances at Arhn so she can explazin.
<Arhn> A radical faction of revolutionaries may have struck a devil's bargain...
<Shiva> Desperate actions require desperate measures.
<Rylon> 2Just then several ships come up upon scanners, however apparantly too late as they managed to slip by the scanners until being point blank with the ship.. They skide to their sides,a ttaching themselves to the sides of the ship. At once consecutive explosions occur, as multiple holes are made. Unknown soldiers begin surge inside the hallways, wearing completely black armor. Helmets covered 2
<Rylon> 2 their faces, with eyes that glew with a deep red. Their weapons seemed unfamiliar, along with their style of armor and tactics. 2 More ships suddenly appear, coming out of an experimental cloaking system yards from one of the hangars. Each one armed with severe missile payloads. These were also a sleek black, with the cockpit tinted to hide the pilot. 2
<DeathStar> <Warren> We're under attack! 6He shouts in surprise.
<Shiva> ...What?! *she taps her comm* RED ALERT! BRING THE SHIELDS UP!
<Arhn> Who dares?!
<DeathStar> <Warren> We're the only ones who knew Shiva was here. Us and Lombardia. 6He shouts.
* `Cole pulls out his pistol, he instincively slides near Shiva. Since it was his job for so lonog.
<Rylon> 2They unleash their payload onto the hangar, sending missiles scattering inside, before shooting inside before the shields can activate. Infiltrating forces seem to surge directly toward the engine and power rooms, while another unit took course toward Shivas location.
* Shiva pulls out her datapad typing on it. Suddenly the floors begin locking down tight.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Can this ship repel invaders from inside? 6He asks Shiva.
<Rylon> 2It didn't seem to help, as the doors begin to lock in place. Highly explosive charges, also seeming foreign are placed on the doors and a button is pressed, sending the armored doors flying open.
<Shiva> Some of the ships defenses are online yes. Mostly ones near critical points.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren grabs his handguns, unholstering them both.
* Shiva looks down at her datapad eyeing the carnage. 1"There heading for the Core Room"
* Rylon eyes all the chaos. 14"We should move..now!"
<DeathStar> <Warren> Give me a map now. 6He orders Shiva.
* Shiva taps her datapad sending it to Warren.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren takes it and begins to run off quickluy.
<Arhn> ...just what systems are incomplete?
* Shiva moves over to a terminal and begins typing on it.
* `Cole glances at Shiva, "Can you keep yourself and Arhn protected?"
<Shiva> The cloaking device is only good for an hour at the most right now. Some of the weapons systems. And other sub-systems.
<Rylon> 2A seperate team advanced upon Shivas location, all of them looking to be highly trained in their tactics. Warren would find himself on a crash course with the team of the unknown soldiers, as they run into each other in the hallway. Quickly they rip open doors and begin to access cover, two take knees and open fire with highly charged light blue particles..it seems they don't plasma.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren opens fire on the group headed for the core room, taking cover behind a wall.
<Shiva> How could they have gotten a hold of the plans to this ship so easily?!
<Rylon> 14"Wheres the safest place on board?"
<Arhn> Of that, I am uncertain...get the ship moving...now.
<Shiva> Safest place...The Core Room technically.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren ducks into a hallway, using the map to work his way to the core room, having the advantage of knowing the layout
<Shiva> 6Several ships from the 1st Division drop out of Hyperspace
* `Cole taps the pistol on his shoulder, keeping close to protect Shiva, since he doesn't thinkn she'll be safe if he goes.
<Rylon> 2Soon enough they reach the door, directly outside out the teams location. They could hear constant foot steps, and then silence. Meanwhile the other 2 teams continue surging toward the core room, ready for incoming.
<Shiva> 6 They float their for a second then suddenly their shields power up and they begin firing on the ships attached to the ship.
<Shiva> They're outside waiting.
<Rylon> 2The ships explode with relative ease, as if no one was on board..this seems to be a one way mission, for them anyway.
* Shiva makes a mad dash towards one of the shuttles
* Arhn goes with Shiva
<Shiva> NRP: GAH! Gear.
* Shiva dashes past the shuttles and heads towards a gear and hops up into it.
* `Cole glances at Ry. "What are you going to do?'
<Rylon> 2The door would explode, sending debris flying inside. A few of them begin to surge in, concentrating fire directly on Shiva as she dashes for the gear.
<Shiva> 6As the enemies begin getting closer to the Core Room, small random turrets begin dropping out as the pass by and open fire on them.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren reaches the core room seconds before the 2 teams. He attempts to lock it down.
<Rylon> 14"Our priority is to Arhn and Shiva!"
* Shiva leaps up into the air and grabs onto a rung and swings herself into it. She begins powering it up.
* `Cole moves quickly, firing for the men that come in.
<Arhn> ...and what am I to do?!
* Shiva stands the gear up and turns it around. It raises it's left hand and begins firing gatling gun towards the men.
<Rylon> 2They return fire on the turrets, as a few of them go down from the unexpected surprise. Warren could hear the firefight, and it wouldn't be long before the team reaches Warrens location. The teams going after Shiva are slowed down by Coles fire, as Ry pulls out his own weapons and begins to open fire upon the soldiers. The ones that came in..well are quickly overwhelmed by the gatlin gun, and 2
<Rylon> 2 hit the ground with a sickening thud. 2
<DeathStar> 6* Warren opens fire on the teams as they come into view, using the core room as his vantage point. They have to go through him to get to it.
<Shiva> 6 The rest of the 1st Division appear out of Hyperspace and moments later begin to form a protective circle around the Proto-Type ship.
* `Cole looks to Ariel in the Gear. "You going to be alright withouot mE?"
<Rylon> NRP: Ariels here?
<Shiva> NRP: ariel?
<Shiva> Comm: Yeah, I should be fine...Go help Warren.
<Rylon> NRP: `Cole looks to Ariel in the Gear.
<DeathStar> NRP: LOL
<`Cole> MRP:....uhhh.
<`Cole> NRP: I honestly don't know how I got Ariel...
* `Cole motions for her to send him the map as he moves out.
* Shiva taps her datapad, the map being sent.
<Rylon> 2The remaining soldiers outside the hangar seem to go silent,y until a single one suddenly slips out, with a massive cannon strapped to his shoulder. It explodes with a blinding light, as a stream of concentrated energy flows directly toward the gear.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren keeps firing, trying to hold off his soldiers. Sweat pours down his face.
<`Cole> NRP: I thought they were all dead/
* Shiva moves the Gear enough to take the shot to keep it from nailing the hanger wall but enough to get her safe.
* `Cole fires at the man that just walked in, since he was ignoring the real threat.
<Shiva> 6The Gear Sparks wildly then suddenly slumps down*
<Rylon> 2The soldiers are shot by Warren, but it seems their armor seems able to withstand shots with his pistol..save for the lucky ones that slip past it and drop them like a bad habit. They returned fire, rapid blasts flowing down the hallway toward Warren.
* Arhn is behind cover...
<`Cole> NRP: DS....can I pleeeease use them? :)
<Shiva> 6Several shuttles begin to pour of the the cruiser-class ships and begin beelining towards the Hanger Entrance.
<DeathStar> NRP: Yes.
<`Cole> NRP: *hugs him*
<DeathStar> 6* Warren twists to avoid, but is hit by the shots, the bullets ripping through his trench coat and out his back. He falls over.
* `Cole slides his hands into his coat, pulling out two objects, slipping them onto his hands. He dashes down the hallway quickly. Coming in from behind one of the groups, he activates the katars and moves into them, aiiming to hack them down efficiently.
<Rylon> 2The soldier is shot repeatedly, but he continued firing the steam directly upon the Gear, it seemed to be a continous stream of energy, until finally the soldier slumps onto the ground, the wave cutting across the hangar, and deactivating, the back soldier is suddenly caught by surprise at Coles katars rip into his back, slumping him. But soon 5 of them turn around, rapidly unleashing fire. 2
<Rylon> 2 The core soldiers begin to advance over Warrens body, directly to the core door. 2
* `Cole dives to the right, rolling up to his feet he moves in, slashing his katars out.
<Shiva> 6The hatch suddenly launches off and onto the floor clattering. The Shuttles begin to enter the hanger. Cartel Guards' pouring out of them.
<Arhn> To the core! Quickly!
<Shiva> 6The Guards nod and begin dashing towards the Core, some of them stopping to help Cole fight.
* Shiva leaps out of the Gear and onto the ground into a kneel.
<Rylon> 2The soldiers try to hold their position, in the hallway, but are quickly being overwhelemed by the guards and Coles efforts. They bark orders to each other, and they begin to fall back into the hallway, firing back at their pursuers. The core team blows up the door, and begins to ready itself, placing explosive charges against the core unit.
<Shiva> 6Several guards run upto Shiva to back her up and find out what's going on.
* `Cole moves off to the side, letting the Cartel guards take care of those attacking the hanger, he uses a side route to get to the core room.
<Shiva> 6The Guards begin pour out of the hanger and into the hallways fighting every inch towards the Core room.
<Arhn> Shiva, it may be necessary to initiate the core ejection system.
<Shiva> I'm well aware of that. *she pulls out her datapad eyeing the video feed*
* `Cole slides up to Warren and checks his pulse, the katars deactivated right now.
<DeathStar> 6* There's barely any pulse detectable.
<Rylon> 2They begin to work on activating explosives, these seems to be more potent then the others..but also highly more effective. A soldier barks. 14"Hurry up, their coming!!" 2The team begins to open fire on the guards as they pass in the hallway, laying down a covered area of fire to keep them back.
* `Cole picks Warren up and retreats back to the hanger.
<Shiva> NRP: Good Ol' Cole...Let them blow up the ship.
* Shiva types on her datapad.
* `Cole moves into the hanger with Warren, not about to let him die.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren leaves a trail of blood wherever he goes, his breathing barely detectable.
<`Cole> Hang on. *he breathes* We need a medic! *he yells out*
<Shiva> 6The Core Room suddenly blacks out then the electricity begins to pulsate through the floors
<Shiva> 6Electricity Arcs out of points in the ground slamming through the enemy.
<Rylon> 2The soldiers are taken by surprise in the core room, and they slump on the floor..not having enough time to set the remaining explosives. One presses a button as they die, causing the explosive to burst in an amazing blue light that consumes the entire room, and incinerating the dead soldiers. The whole ship would rattle, but amazingly the Core would survive due to the preparation time of the 2
<Rylon> 2 bombs..however heavily damaged. The few that survived push themselves down the hallway, heading down the hallway..and moving onto the 2 ships that infiltrated earlier..and no body seemed to notice. The ramp closes, and it hisses with a take off, both of them activating their warp drives, dissappearing. Just then, people would begin to hear a hum from the dead soldiers..some like self destruct 2
<Rylon> 2 counter measures activating. 2
<Shiva> NRP: I'm sure all the ships around the ship wouldn't have noticed them...
<Rylon> NRP: Lol, you didn't notice the 2 ships that got in before the fleet arrived?
<Shiva> NRP: I did. I had assumed they were part of the ones being taking out by the 1st Division.
* Shiva falls to her knees. A solider picking her back up.
* Shiva nods to the man then eyes her datapad, damage reports coming in.
* `Cole sits down Warren, and motions for one of the Cartel me to get a medic for Warren.
<Rylon> 2BOOM, the dead soon explode with set explosives inside their armor, incinerating themselfs and the area nearby..causing everything to go silent.
<Shiva> 6One of the Cartel Medical Unit's dashes over to Warren and begin working on him.
<Shiva> The Core's damaged....*she taps on her datapad, the light suddenly flicker on and off then become steady but only at 60%* We're now on the back-up Core but...

<Rylon> 2And now Ry gets played again, since Kio sucks at multi tasking with his chaacters and the enemy at the same time. He moved over to Arhn's hiding spot. 14"It's clear"
<Arhn> ...any idea who they were? *steps out*
<Rylon> 14"No, they seemed to take measures to hide their identities, the enemy self destructed, leaving no trace of a body"
* `Cole eyes Warren's blood on his hands. "He going to be alright?" He asks the medic team.
* Shiva moves over to Rylon and Arhn. 1"Who were those and how did they know we were coming?
<Arhn> A good question...
<DeathStar> 6* The medic team just gives Cole "the look".
<`Cole> ....
<Rylon> 14"Asking the wrong people, you are as clueless to us"
<Rylon> *as us*
* `Cole steps back over to the group. "Warren is hurt." he said as he stepped up.
<Rylon> 14"How bad?"
<Shiva> My arrival was only known to a few people...And they knew where the Core was. A select number of the Yloi new the schematics.
<Arhn> ... ... ...I see.
* `Cole shrugs.
<`Cole> I told you that man was untrustworthy. *he says to Ry*
<Shiva> The Cartel are going to want answers on this. We almost lost the this ship.
<Rylon> 14"You think it's Lombardia..?"
* `Cole eye Ry. "And you don't?"
<Rylon> 14"Never said I didn't"
<DeathStar> 6* Arhn's communicator beeps suddenly.
<Arhn> *c* Yes?
* Shiva motions to the guards to comb the ship.
<DeathStar> <Lombardia on Comm> Arhnya? Thank God. 6He says, his voice drained it sounds like. "You're alive."
<Arhn> *c* ...just what is going on?!
<DeathStar> <Lombardia on Comm> It's a massive assault. The council...the council's.... 6He trails off. "They somehow blew up the building. This was a timed, coordinated attack."
<Arhn> *c* Damnation!
<DeathStar> <Lombardia on Comm> Listen carefully, Arhn. 6He says in a low whisper. "The only other people who knew Shiva would be coming is those in your group. Someone in your group must have set this up."
* `Cole watches Arhn closely.

<DeathStar> 6* Spade points to a board, showing a signal coming out of the Europe territory. "This is where Adam was tracked to. We believe Eve is being held here to finish the work on the vial."
* `Kane nods to show that he understands, standing beside Sera.
<Chad`Winters> Hopefully she'll figure it out and go along with it.
* Seraphna seems to do her best not to react to Chad's comment.
<Chad`Winters> When are we going to make our move?
<`Kane> As soon as possible. I'd think.
<DeathStar> <Spade> We'll be gearing up and attacking the base in ten minutes. I want you all to check your weapons, get some body armor. This will be a big fight, I imagine.
<Chad`Winters> Understood. *he moves off to the locker room*
* `Kane nods once, moving after Chad.
* Seraphna nods quietly, heading into antoehr locker room, getting geared up.
* Chad`Winters glances at Kane. 1"Are you sure your ready for this Kane?"
<DeathStar> 6* Spade sits there, contemplatively.
* `Kane begins to get his body armor on. "Hmph." Is all he says.
* Chad`Winters pulls off his uniform, revealing his tactical suit underneath. He reaches out grabbing some body armor, plaacing it over his tactical suit. He then moves over to the weapons locker and begins looking through it.
<Chad`Winters> I'm serious Kane, I'm going to need my full attention on my surroundings and I can't worry about your or Seraphna.
* Seraphna gears up in one of her own, strapping on some body armor, grabbing a few extra clips and supplies, getting out her special "Adam-gun".
* `Kane straitens up after he fixes boots. "I'd rather die than have you worry about me." He says, moving over and grabbing his weapons, he places two pistols into holsters on his chest, a pistol holstered to each leg, he slides throwing daggers into various spots, and then pulls out his special rifle.
<Chad`Winters> Good that means I won't have to worry about you two. *he pulls out two pistols and places them on holsters on his sides. He then moves over to his locker and pulls out his satchels and pouches and begins clipping them into place.
* `Kane slides a trenchcoat on and steps back for Spade, his clothing is sporting a gunmetal color.
* Seraphna looks over her guns again and sighs, "This is gonna be a waste of gear..."
* Seraphna puts on her white trench when she's done, the coat appearing slightly bulkier and heavier then before, she checks some lining and heads out.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade stands up. "Let us go." 6He says to them, heading for an armed shuttle.
* `Kane moves after Spade, pressing his glasses up onto the brim of his nose.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade gets into the armed shuttle, motioning for Chad to pilot it. He takes co-pilot seat, entering the location.
* Seraphna walks with Kane, grinning to him
* Chad`Winters moves into the shuttle then sits down in the pilots seat.
* `Kane winks at Sera as he sits down. Propping up on his rifle.
* Chad`Winters lifts the shuttle up and begins heading for the location
* Seraphna sits down next to him, putting her head on Kane's shoulder
* `Kane whispers to her.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade sits there quietly, leaning back in his seat. He doesn't appear to be glancing back at Kane and Sera.
* Seraphna nods quietly, closing her eyes, getting a bit of rest in as they travel
* Chad`Winters glances off to the side, his eyes narrowing as if seeing something.
<DeathStar> 6* They fly over the ocean and are soon over Europe.
<Chad`Winters> We're only going to have a limited amount of time to get what we want.
<DeathStar> <Spade> I agree.
* `Kane remains quiet. He closes his eyes.
<Chad`Winters> And this will be difficult with out any further knowledge of the base.
<DeathStar> <Spade> Yes.
<Chad`Winters> Than that means we afford any mistakes.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade glances at Chad, knowing he's talking for the benefit of the other two.
<`Kane> Let Chad do it by himself. *he says with eyes closed* The asshole obviously wants all the glory.
<Seraphna> "Jus tell us when to meld..."
<Chad`Winters> That's not the answer to this. Inside a base, there won't be room to meld...
<`Kane> We don't need to do any of that. *he notes*
<Seraphna> "Oh there'll be room when I'm done..." *she says sleepily*
* `Kane sighs.
<`Kane> No there wont. *he says sternly*
<DeathStar> 6* They arrive in the area of the base. It appears to be a normal building in a mountain.
<Seraphna> "Fine..." *she smiles and nuzzles his neck*
<DeathStar> 6* Spade eyes Sera momentarily, then looks ahead. "That would be it."
<Chad`Winters> Mountainous.....
<Chad`Winters> We'll be spotted in minutes...
* Seraphna having her eyes closed didn't notice Spade's glance
<DeathStar> <Spade> I agree. ... if not already. 6Missiles are launched.
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue and then drops the shuttle low along the landscape.
<DeathStar> 6* The missiles turn and attempt to follow Chad.
<Chad`Winters> Spade drop some chaff so I can land on a pad.
<Seraphna> "Shuttle should have countermeasures."
* `Kane remains silent, feeling that they know how to take care of themselves.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade activates it. The missiles are knocked off course.
* Chad`Winters brings the shuttle onto a landning pad and lands it.
<DeathStar> 6* As they land, the base's doors open and 12 troops rush out, firing at the shuttle.
* Chad`Winters reaches over firing the ships turrets at the 12 troops.
<DeathStar> 6* The troops are shot up and falls over dead.
* Seraphna gets her guns out and gets ready, "Playtime love." *she looks to Kane*
<Chad`Winters> Let's go. *stands up unholstering his two guns and he moves over to the ramp, lowering it.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade steps off a moment later, aiming his gun at the now open doors to the base.
* `Kane stands up and checks his rifle, winking at Sera. He steps out behind Chad and Spade.
* Chad`Winters steps off after Spade, aiming his guns towards the base doors. He begins moving towards them.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade walks along with Chad, keeping his weapons trained. "They're waiting to ambush us inside."
* Seraphna steps off, looking everywhere but the doors.
<Chad`Winters> How far inside?
* Chad`Winters reaches down for a grenade pressing the activator in.
<DeathStar> <Spade> There's some on either side, and a few further in the room. 6He notes.
* Chad`Winters releases the grenade then tosses it inside.
<DeathStar> 6* There's a flash of light and the sound of a concussion grenade going off.
* Seraphna doesn't seem to see anythign wiaitng for them outside, so she turns her attention to the flash.
<Chad`Winters> Any left?
<DeathStar> <Spade> Yes. The ones further back in the room.
<Chad`Winters> Let's take them out. *moves upto the door standing to it's side.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade suddenly glances up to a gun turrent on the roof. Someone is runing for it.
* `Kane holds up his rifle, obviously a better shot with it. He takes aim at fires at the person running for the turrent.
<`Kane> NRP: meaning he is a better shot with it, thann a pistol.
<DeathStar> 6* The person is shot, leaving Spade and Chad time to get in position.
<Chad`Winters> How many on the far wall? *he clicks his gun's on*
<DeathStar> <Spade> More than three. Less than six.
* Seraphna conitnues to stick to the rear, guarding it.
* Chad`Winters reaches down grabbing another concussion grenade. He activates it then hurls it through the door to the long side of the room.
<DeathStar> 6* There's another flash.
* Chad`Winters suddenly dashes through the doorway his guns pulled and running across to the right wall.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade rushes in after them. Someone begins to fire at Chad as he enters.
* Chad`Winters plants his foot and flips himself, firing several shots aimed at the direction he's being shot from.
* `Kane keeps the pace, sliding inside and searching for a target.
* Seraphna holds her guns out, keeping her senses attune for any surprises, moving behidn the rest of them
<DeathStar> 6* Silence. They are now in a hanger. There's a single door on the far right. They can even hear alarms sounding.
* Chad`Winters lands then dashes across towards the door, not wanting to waste time.
<DeathStar> 6* He reaches the door with no trouble. Spade moves up beisde him.
<DeathStar> 6* Sera would see a grenade being lobbed in the way they came - since she's guarding rear.
* Chad`Winters grabs the door and opens it, leaning against the wall next to it.
* Seraphna moves quickly, firing a light blast form her dampening net, the force of it enough to knock the grenade back in teh direction it came
<Seraphna> "We've got friends visiting our back door!"
* `Kane slides around to aim at the way they came, ready to fire.
<DeathStar> 6* The explosion is heard outside.
<DeathStar> 6* Fire comes in from the door Chad opened - men in the hallway.
<DeathStar> 6* Three guards rush in - firing at Sera and KAne.
* Chad`Winters watches the shots come through the door.
* Seraphna firest at the first one she sees, hitting a button on her damener, it firing a pulse charge after her bullet at the third runner.
* `Kane clicks his rifle on full auto and fire in an arc at the 3, making sure to keep Sera out of the line of Fire.
<DeathStar> 6* The three men go down.
<Chad`Winters> This is going to be difficult...*he drops to the ground and leans his guns past the doors edge and begins firing through the doorway aiming low
* `Kane winks at Sera, putting his rifle back on semi-auto, he slides against the left wall, moving to get near Spade.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade fires also, aiming toward the back.
<DeathStar> 6* The firing begins to stop after a moment - silence from the hallway.
* Seraphna keeps her full attentions to the rear, the boys having the rest covered
* Chad`Winters pushes himself up and he dashes down the hall aiming low and heading along it.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade follows Chad, passing over the dead bodies as they hurry down it. They pass three doors as they move down the hallway, looking like offices.
* `Kane keeps third, keeping his attention to both the front and back, ready to help either group.
* Seraphna moves with them, carefully doubling back
* Chad`Winters dashes down the hallway his guns aimed and his eyes focused.
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, as they pass the office doors, guards bust out and try to ambush them from behind.
* Chad`Winters twists on his heel and leaps backwards, firing back towards the doorways as the bust open, his shots aimed well enough to not hit any of others.
* `Kane spins around, firing onto the guards, taking Sera into accounnt.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade leaves it to Sera without a second thought, moving onward.
* Chad`Winters comes full circle and lands on his hands and knees he sprints out after Spade.
* Seraphna fires at each of the guards, her face locked in that determiend look she gets
<DeathStar> 6* The guards are hit by Sera, getting knocked down in a bloody mess.
* `Kane smirks as he turns to follow after Chad and Spade.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade and Chad reach an elevator.
<Chad`Winters> I hate elevators...
<DeathStar> <Spade> We have no choice.
* Chad`Winters reaches out hitting the button.
<DeathStar> 6* The elevator doors open, three men inside. They open fire.
* Chad`Winters kicks against Spade's armor, pushing him to the side and using the momentum to move to the side. He then swings his gun out firing into them.
* `Kane coming in sight of the elevator would crouch down and fire into the elevator at the men.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade is pushed out of the way of being shot to death. Chad's manuever also surprises the guards and they are slaughtered.
* Chad`Winters pushes off against the wall and steps into the elevator waiting for the others.
* `Kane moves with Sera for the elevator.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade gets on.
* Seraphna keeps close, getting on last, still watching where they came
* Chad`Winters hits the elevator button
<DeathStar> 6* The elevator begins to zoom down
<DeathStar> 6* It opens up to reveal Adam aiming a rocket launcher down the hallway at them.
<DeathStar> <Adam> Surprise.
* Chad`Winters flips his gun up and fires aiming directly for the rocket launcher barrel.
<DeathStar> 6* Adam fires the rocket, then teleports.
* Seraphna fires her dampener at full power down the hall at him
<DeathStar> 6* The explosion rips the hallway apart
<DeathStar> 6* Spade holds up his hand as sharpnel and debris flies around. It seems the hallway has seen better days now.
* Chad`Winters tilts his head backwards.
<DeathStar> <Spade> It would appear we cannot proceed. 6He eyes it blocked off.
<Chad`Winters> And I'm guessing this is the only way...
* `Kane rubs his chin. Then glances around to estimate the size of the hallway.
<DeathStar> 6* It's about 10 feet high and 10 feet wide.
<DeathStar> <Spade> Adam went to great lengths to take it out for a reason.
<Seraphna> "I could... do it my way..."
<`Kane> Not big enough. *he sighs*
* Chad`Winters stares at the debris, studying it.
<Seraphna> "Isn't the point to smash through now?"
<Chad`Winters> Yeah but the cieling could come crashing down on the rest of us.
* `Kane motions to the height. "We would cause a cave ini."
<DeathStar> <Adam's voice on Comm> Welcome to my little trap, Janus.
<DeathStar> <Adam's voice on intercomm> You think I wouldn't detect a little tracer? And now, you can all say hello to hell for me.
* Chad`Winters glances over at Spade.
<DeathStar> <Spade> ....
<DeathStar> 6* The base begins to shake and the elevator locks itself.
* `Kane looks to Sera. "Try to rip those doors open."
* Chad`Winters turns back to the elevator and moves over to the terminal tapping it.
<DeathStar> 6* As Kane turns, suddenly a door hidden ceiling moves and a turrent comes out, shooting him through the chest before anyone can react.
<DeathStar> <Spade> KANE!
<DeathStar> <Adam's voice on intercomm> And say goodbye to your pilot.
* Seraphna blinks and cries out, "NO!!!"
* `Kane urks and falls back.
<DeathStar> 6* Blood splurts out of Kane's chest rapidly, his heart pumping it right out
* Seraphna shoots the turret and bends down, trying to figure out how to save him, "Wh-What do I do???"
* Chad`Winters turns around firing a shot at the turrent.
* `Kane slumps down against the wall, his hand weakly holding his chest.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade kneels there, trying to put pressure on the wound. "We're losing him."
<Seraphna> "C-Could I sustain him in a meld? Something?"
* Chad`Winters pulls out his datapad and begins to try and hack into the elevator system to open the doors.
<DeathStar> <Spade> No. You'd likely kill both of you.
<Seraphna> "Kane... h-hang on... you have to..."
<DeathStar> 6* The elevator doors open finally.
<Chad`Winters> Get him on now!
* Chad`Winters slides into the elevator, he eyes Kane.
* `Kane just seems to be slipping in and out of conciousness.
* Seraphna pulls him on, "Kane... concentrate on ym voice, come on... don't you die on me..."
* `Kane coughs up some blood. "Damnit.." He exhales weakly.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade is grim. He knows Kane isn't going to make it at this rate. He grabs him and slides him into the elevator.
* Chad`Winters hits the up button as soon as they all get on.
* Seraphna holds him, "I-I don't know what to do here... gods..."
<DeathStar> 6* The elevator rocks. The base is self-destructing, most likely.
<`Kane> Nothing....*he says slowly*
* Chad`Winters grabs onto the railing, glancing at Kane then at Spade. He shakes his head.
<Seraphna> "No there has to be something... y-you can't die on me..."
<DeathStar> 6* Spade puts a hand on Sera, steadying her. He watches as the elevator doors open finally.
<Seraphna> "I-I need you... hang on..."
* Chad`Winters steps out of the elevator taking point his guns sweeping as he runs down the hallway.
<DeathStar> 6* The hallway shakes, pieces of the ceiling falling down. Spade picks Kane up and begins to rush down the hallway.
* `Kane doesn't respond. He face is pale.
* Seraphna runs with them, desperately trying to think of something
<DeathStar> 6* They arrive in the hanger. Their shuttle seems to be in one piece outside.
* Chad`Winters dashes across the hanger, heading straight towards the Shuttle.
* Seraphna heads to the shuttle as well, one of her guns out, not about to let anyone stop them form getting Kane out of there
<DeathStar> 6* Spade gets Kane onto the hsuttle.
* Chad`Winters runs onto the shuttle powering it up and lifting it off the ground.
* Seraphna grabs a medical kit, startingt o try and help Kane, "Kane... please... please hold on..."
<DeathStar> 6* Spade watches Kane finally drift out into unconsciously, probably never going to wake again.
* Chad`Winters hits the boosters, blasting out of the hanger and towards the nearest city.
* Seraphna holds him, shaking, only able to desperately hope now

<DeathStar> 6* Spade eyes Kane's blood on his hands, sitting back and taking a deep breath. Suddenly, a radio commnication comes in - the Janus base was hit moments after Spade's team left.
* Chad`Winters looks over at Spade, an unhappy look on his face.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade sits there, keeping pressure on Kane.
