<DeathStar> 6* Darien stands in the command room, pointing to a map. "We have managed to locate the base. It's built into a valley, making it difficult to detect. And since we have no intelligence on it, we have no way of knowing the base layout.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> We know where it is. That's a start.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I don't think they'll remain there for long, personally, and our window to get the Origin samples may be limited. So we're going to try to find a way to inflitrate the base.
<Setsuna`> "The sneak in, blow it up, get out, approch won't work here?"
* Xanatos stands there beside Erevis, staring down at the map. "We could stake out the area, search for a secondary entrace...though that would take a while."
<DeathStar> <Darien> It'll be too risky. Right now I just want us in and out.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> We get in, isolate them from the outside, terminate everything, grab the item, get out..leaving behind a banging prize for the losers.
* Setsuna` gestures to Cassandra, "I like her ideas."
* Xanatos shrugs. "Just point me in the direction and i'll be sure to go bang bang." He says, motioning with his hand.
<DeathStar> <Darien> It's risky, but we'll have to see what we can do when we get there. The shuttle is already prepped. Lets go. 6He motions to the hanger.
* Xanatos moves towards the hanger now.
* Cassandra_Arakawa nods and heads for the shuttle.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien and Erevis head out
* Setsuna` heads after, wishing they could have something better prepared.
* Xanatos moves into the shuttle and takes a seat toward the middle.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps into the hsuttle, eyeing Xanatos not taking the pilot seat. He shrugs, moving to take the pilot seat, not really caring.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Not piloting today, Xan?
* Setsuna` is in the back of the shuttle.
<Xanatos> Darien's shuttle. *he says with a shrug*
<DeathStar> 6* It's a normal attack shuttle.
<Xanatos> NRP: I hate you.
<DeathStar> NRP: You assumed.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien activates the shuttle and sends them out, flying into the sky.

<DeathStar> 6* Darien flies along, adjusting his controls. Erevis sits in the middle, also, glancing at nothing in particular.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Our ETA?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Ten minutes.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'm flying low and slower to avoid detection.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Gives me time to suit up then. *moves into the back of the shuttle and changes right there*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien coughs, not looking. Erevis turns to look.
* Xanatos glances back and then glances to Erevis. He shrugs.
* Setsuna` idly looks up at the ceiling, "Never learned much modesty, did you Cass?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien flies them along the valley, landing them in some heavily wooded areas, taking care to land. They are currently a mile from the base.
<DeathStar> 6* Lowering the ramp, Darien glances at the scanners, picking up troop activity outside the base. He frowns.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Time to cut the chatter...
* Xanatos sees Darien's frown, "Somethign wrong?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> They have heavy guards. This place seems to be important.
<Xanatos> It does have Origin stuff. *he says with a shrug, checking his pistols*
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Don't take anything for granted.
<DeathStar> <Darien> We could probably move through the treecover to the base and avoid the guards, but they might have sensors in place.
<Xanatos> You're boss. Just give me a command.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien goes to say something with his scanners pick up tons of ships coming this way. "What. The. Fuck?"
<Cassandra_Arakawa> ...Janus?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yes.... with a fool out assault fleet, it seems.
<Setsuna`> "...loooove to make this job difficult."
<DeathStar> 6* The vessels begin to bomb the base.
<Xanatos> We're not going to sit around and let them take all the glorya re we?
<Cassandra_Arakawa> ...then we don't have much time. Besides, nice distraction.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Agreed. We'll use it to get in and get out.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grabs a rifle and motions, heading off the shuttle into the woods.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... this situation does not seem to feel right. 6She notes, following Darien into the woods.
* Cassandra_Arakawa leaps out of the shuttle, optical camo activating...
* Setsuna` checks her sidearm, and then heads after Darien
* Xanatos walks with them. "Whats wrong Erevis?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I do not know.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> ...its possible that they may have dropped off the package literally and continued here.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I do not understand why Janus would go to such lengths to take a single base.
<Setsuna`> "Because they want something here?"
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Or they want to be seen...
<Xanatos> Perhaps they are out for revenge...
<DeathStar> 6* Darien comes up on some V.I. troops that are in the woods, panically talking into their radios. He motions for the group to take them out
* Xanatos moves up onto a tree branch and pulls out his pistols firing down at the troops, giving those on the ground the proper distraction.
* Cassandra_Arakawa moves in silently under optical camoflauge behind one...then when the guns start, she cuts a throat without being seen...then moves on to the next.
<DeathStar> 6* The troops are shot, and others get their throats cut. In moments, they are dead.
* Cassandra_Arakawa then internally plays back what the troops were saying.
<DeathStar> <Troop> They're attacking the base! <Troop 2> What do we do, sir? <Adam's voice> Stay on guard, I'm going to get the girls out.
<DeathStar> NRP: Adam's voice came from the comm.
* Xanatos hops down. He glances at Darien.
<DeathStar> <Darien> The girls?
<Cassandra_Arakawa> ...good question. And Adam is here himself as well...
<Setsuna`> "...that just sounds bizzare, honestly."
<Xanatos> Hey, at least we know this is the right place. I doubt adam would leave the stuff alone.
<DeathStar> 6* As they move, Cassandra's scanners would pick up a sewer hatch
<Cassandra_Arakawa> *c* ...I have a sewer grate.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves toward Cassandra's location quickly, bending down to look at it. "It might lead into the base."
<Cassandra_Arakawa> No where else for it to go.
<Xanatos> They'll smell us a mile away. *he notes with a frown*
<DeathStar> <Darien> Too many troops up at the base. We'll never get in.
<DeathStar> <Darien> This is our only way.
<Setsuna`> "...you're kidding me."
* Xanatos shrugs and moves in, taking point.
* Cassandra_Arakawa heads down through the grate.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leaps down afterward. ERevis stares, then goes.
* Setsuna` reluctantly takes up the rear
<DeathStar> 6* As they move through the smelley sewers, they would it's blocked with sensor triped lasers.
* Xanatos slides to a stop. "Anyone know how to disable these?"
<Setsuna`> "Normally, I just avoid them."
<Xanatos> ...I'm to fat to do that. *he notes with a wave*
<Cassandra_Arakawa> I have all of the beams on my visual...
<DeathStar> <Darien> Can you move around them?
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Yes...the rest of you...that's another matter.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Do you think you can shut them off further down?
<DeathStar> <Darien> You and Setsuna could easily get past.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> I'll see what I can do. no guarantee that they're user friendly though. *then darts forward, showing off her agility as she weaves through the laser trips*

* Setsuna` mutters something about showing off, and heads after Cassandra.
<Setsuna`> NRP: *waits for TeamDarienPartB*
<Xanatos> NRP: LOl. Nah we will just stand there.
* Xanatos glances at Darien and then moves over some, leaning against the wall.

* Cassandra_Arakawa starts looking for something to cut or turn off the laser security.
<DeathStar> 6* They would find a security box there.
* Cassandra_Arakawa checks over the security box for any surprises...
<DeathStar> 6* Electricity is set to shock a person who touched it
* Setsuna` watches for anyone that might catch Cassandra working
<DeathStar> 6* Setsuna would spot a soldier sneaking up on them from a hidden room
* Setsuna` quickly throws her knife at the man's throat as she pulls her gun.
* Cassandra_Arakawa nods then twists her body, snap kicking the panel off the box.
<DeathStar> 6* The trooper goes down.

<Xanatos> NRP: He's a busy man. :P

<DeathStar> 6* The sensors are taken down. Darien and Erev hurry forward.
* Xanatos moves quickly as well. "We need to move double time now." He states the obvious, quickening his pace.
* Cassandra_Arakawa nods as she moves forward...
<DeathStar> 6* Darien hurries. They come across an access lift into the base a little while later.
* Xanatos moves into the access lift. "Man I hope I can get this smell out.."
<DeathStar> 6* As soon as they are on, Darien gets it to lift them up
<DeathStar> 6* The lift takes them to a small room. Suits are set up for those who go into the sewers.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Oh, taht would have been nice to have sooner.

* Xanatos sniffs himself a makes a face. "..."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien opens the door, in a hallway. Alarms are going off out here. "This appears to be the place."

<DeathStar> <Darien> We're to locate the Origin vial. We should get to a computer to learn our way around the base.
* Xanatos nods and motions for Cass to take point.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Let's look for a panel then. *takes point and moves forward*
* Xanatos moves along and keeps his eyes on the lookout for any enemies.
* Setsuna` keeps to the rear, to make sure they're not snuck up on

<DeathStar> 6* They run into Adam, Sera, and some blonde woman.

* Xanatos pulls up his pistols. "I think we've found the girls."
<DeathStar> 6* Adam aims his own weapon.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien raises his weapon.
<DeathStar> 6* Eve suddenly fires at Xanatos' chest.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> ...what the?!
* Xanatos widens his eyes and dives to the left, getting clipped in the shoulder. "DAMNIT, the same shoulder!" He grits his teeth, firing back at Eve.
<Xanatos> NRP: Witht he other arm.
* Setsuna` pulls her gun, wondering what the FUCK is going on here.
<DeathStar> 6* Adam fires at Cassandra.
* Cassandra_Arakawa doges to the side, firing at Adam in return.
<DeathStar> 6* Adam leaps away. "Eve, Serena. That door just past them is the exit. Go for it."
* Seraphna has quit IRC (cosmos.esper.net anger.esper.net)
<DeathStar> 6* Eve is hit in the arm, wincing in pain. She fires at Xanatos, but ERevis slams her into a wall with her mind
* Setsuna` fires at Adam, trying to catch him in the leg to immoblize him.
* Xanatos pulls himself up and nods his head to Erevis. "Can you keep the two girls immobile?"

<DeathStar> 6* Adam is hit, hissing. "This was not part of the plan."
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Murphy's Law. *fires at Adam's neck*

<DeathStar> 6* Adam teleports behind Cassandra, firing at her back
<DeathStar> <Adam> You can't hit what you can't touch, babe.
* Xanatos runs forward and jumps at Sera to tackle her. "I'll help."
<DeathStar> NRP: You realize with Sera doing nothing, I'm so screwed?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien aims at Sera. "Serena! Why are you working with Adam?"

* Setsuna` moves forward to stab Adam, as he's still in front of her.
<DeathStar> 6* Adam is stabbed in the side. His bionic body sparks a little as the wires and gears are pierced.
* Seraphna growls and punches at Setsuna

* Xanatos tackles Sera then, since she didn't move.

* Seraphna move as he does, throwing him
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Xanatos! 6She tries to restrain Sera, and does so, but Eve punches her in the face, knocking her down and breaking her hold.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... Darien? 6She glances up.
* Cassandra_Arakawa then turns, kicking at Adam while he's damaged!
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I sense Chad.
<DeathStar> 6* Adam hits the ground.
* Xanatos spins throught he air and nimble lands on his feet, then topples over, not so nimble after all. He stands and fires at Sera, "Why did are you here? What happened to Kane!?"
* Cassandra_Arakawa then immediately follows up with a punch at Adam's teleporter.
* Seraphna punches again at Cassandra, eyes growing dim, "Leave Adam alone!"

<DeathStar> 6* Spade, Chad, and Kane suddenly appear running down the hallway, in the opposite direction of the door that Adam told Sera and Eve to get through.
<DeathStar> 6* Eve kicks at Xanatos' head, moving fast and deftly. IT seems she has one of Chad's fighting stylers.
* Setsuna` hesitates now, not sure what to do.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Spade. 6He grinds his teeth, aiming his weapons at him when Spade aims at him.
* Xanatos knows this style, though suprised he gets hit and stumbles back, standing in front of the door. "What the fuck is going on?" He bellows, holding his pistols up.
<Seraphna> "Why are you helping them try to kill me?"
<Cassandra_Arakawa> ...can someone explain what the hell is going on?!
<Seraphna> "We're the good guys! Janus has been trying to use me as a weapon!"
* Chad`Winters slides to a stop his gun trained on Darien now. 1"EVE!"
* Seraphna moves towards Adam, looking to Eve
<DeathStar> 6* Eve grabs Xanatos and throws him at Chad.
<Xanatos> <Kane> *has his rifle aimed down at everyone else, he blinks* Sera you've been brainwashed! Please snaps out of it!
<DeathStar> 6* Eve grabs Sera's hand and rushes them through the door.
<Xanatos> What the fu-*is thrown toward Chad*
* Chad`Winters lets his pistol in his right hand swing down on his finger and he plants it's side against Xanatos, sliding back from the momentum.
<DeathStar> <Spade> You're here for Origin. 6He notes, firing at Darien. Darien ducks.
* Chad`Winters he then let's him go and dashes past him towards the two
<Chad`Winters> NRP: Eve and Sera
<DeathStar> 6* Adam kicks Chad into the wall.
<DeathStar> <Adam> Not so fast.
* Seraphna runs with Eve, "Let's get out of here!"
<Xanatos> <Kane> *moves forward, runnign after Eve and Sera.*
* Xanatos slides across the ground and stands up. "Darien what the hell do we do!?"

* Chad`Winters slams against the wall with a thud. His right hand drops his pistol and snatches onto Adam's leg. His left hand flips up firing a shot at the leg
<DeathStar> 6* Darien fires at Spade, who jerks away. "We got to find the Origin sample."
<Xanatos> But...*he makes a face, looking around at the madness*
<DeathStar> 6* Adam is hit in the leg. He roars, but pulls out a grenade. "Hey, everyone. CATCH." 6He tosses it into the ground, then fires at it. He teleports as the explosion hits everyone in the hallway.
* Cassandra_Arakawa then darts foreward down the hall past the combat.
* Chad`Winters slides against the wall from the concussive forces.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien is knocked back into Spade as the hallway begins to collapse around them. Cassandra escapes the blast radius.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis grabs XAnatos, throwing up a mental shield to protect him
<Seraphna> "Did you hear that?"
* Xanatos arches a brow at Erevis, smiling. "Thanks."
* Setsuna` dives away from the explosion
* Seraphna keeps on running, looking over her shoulder
<Xanatos> <Kane> *Was running for the door and dived through it*
* Chad`Winters pushes up against the wall and tisks, looking over towards Darien's Team.
<Chad`Winters> You're not getting Origin.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> *c* Sir, I cleared the blast radius at the last minute. Looks like I'm cut off from you. Continue the mission?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien doesn't respond. He appears to be buried under some rubble with Spade.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis is holding up some debris from crushing Xanatos. "My ... powers are starting to wear out...you need to move..."
* Xanatos widens his eyes and moves quickly, bringing her with him.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> *c* "...hell...can anyone hear me?
<DeathStar> 6* The debris smashes down. ERevis turns to face Chad. "He intends to stop us."
<Xanatos> <Comm> Continue the mission. *he turns to CHad.* You'd better go get your little girlfriend. Who cares about is.

<Setsuna`> *c* "...oww."
* Cassandra_Arakawa nods and proceeds forward until she locates a computer terminal.
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra locates it.
<Xanatos> <Kane> *runs after Sera and Eve.
* Chad`Winters eyes Erevis and then Xanatos. 1"I see you're still as observant as ever.
<DeathStar> 6* the way to Sera/Eve is blocked off.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade unburies himself, aiming at Erevis.
* Chad`Winters looks down at his damaged pistol, then tosses it to the ground.
<Xanatos> NRP: Kane dived through the door...
* Xanatos pulls up his pistol and steps in front of Erevis..
<DeathStar> NRP: Eh, you didn't make it, bucko
<Xanatos> NRP: assface. :(
* Chad`Winters reaches down and unclips a grenade, the pin dropping to the ground before him. He holds it infront of him. 1"Put the gun down now."
* Cassandra_Arakawa plugs into the console and starts downloading the floor plan and details about Origin.
<Xanatos> Psh. I'd you'd be killing yourself there chief.
<Xanatos> NRP: no I'd...
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis holds up her hand. "I can crush that grenade in your hand, Chad Winters."
<DeathStar> 6* She locates it. One floor up in a vault.
<Chad`Winters> You're right. *he drops grenade, letting it drop before him*
* Cassandra_Arakawa then proceeds up to the vault.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis throws out her hand, attempting to knock the grenade away.
<Xanatos> <Kane> *Digs at the rubble desperately, then sighs and glances back at them.* Stop!
<DeathStar> 6* Darien busts out of the rubble and punches Spade backwards, surprising him.
* Chad`Winters closes his eyes as the Grenade is knocked away, only to explode in a brilliant flash.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Do not fuck with me, Spade.
* Xanatos fires at Chad with his eyes closed.
<Xanatos> NRP: OH Wait
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis is blinded. She tries to locate Chad's presence and break his leg.
* Chad`Winters leaps to the side from the shot and hurls a dagger towards Xanatos's Firing hand.
* Xanatos is blinded and pulls his patch up, he sees the knife come in and moves so it just strike his side. He pulls the gun up and fires at Chad.
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra arrives at the locked vault. Her strength could rip it open
* Cassandra_Arakawa checks it over to make sure ripping it open won't trigger an elaborate trap involving rats in a wheel and acid
<DeathStar> 6* IT's clean.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien punches Spade, who knees him in the groin in return. The two keep fighting, Spade able to block most of Darien's wild attacks.
* Chad`Winters is nailed by the shot, his body sliding back slightly from the force. His face grimaces as pain courses through his body
<Xanatos> <Kane> *is blinded by the flash grenade and staggers over to the wall*
<DeathStar> 6* Spade avoids some of DArien's punches, then hits him in the nerve cluster in his side, dropping Darien.
* Cassandra_Arakawa rips open the vault and looks inside.
<DeathStar> 6* There's nothing but a note inside.
* Xanatos hisses and pulls Erevis back, with Kane to their backside, He aims both pistols at Chad and Spade, his right arm a bit sluggish.*
* Cassandra_Arakawa checks the note...
* Chad`Winters growls in pain and pushes himself up, his right leg buckling slightly. his body quickly readjusts
<DeathStar> Note: "One step ahead of you, luv - Adam. P.S. Boom."
<Chad`Winters> So you and Cassandra still a thing?
<DeathStar> 6* Spade glances up. "Arrest him, Xanatos."
<DeathStar> NRP: ER, Chad.
<DeathStar> NRP: Wow.
* Chad`Winters suddenly drops to a knee as his leg gives out, his hands reaching down to grab it.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis is suddenly on Spade, punching him hard in the jaw.
<Xanatos> When I find time in betweem Erevis and Blue. *he says with distaste, taking Chad's weakened state to fire at his right arm*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis drops low, tripping Spade. Spade flips backwards, grimacing. <Spade> You think you can hide your thoughts from me. 6He guts hit in the gutr.
<Chad`Winters> 6Suddenly fires a shot from under his crouched body directly towards Xan's chest.
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, a low beeee is heard in the vault. A bomb goes off.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> ...hell... *darts back toward where the others are* *c* Bad news...Adam already took it!
<DeathStar> 6* The vault blows up behind her.
<Xanatos> *Suddenly Kane pushed Xanatos aside and took the shot into his arm, it going slack* <Kane> I wont let you kill my brother!
* Chad`Winters rolls his body into teh shot, letting it slam into his shoulder, causing it to rock his body backwards, his left hand flinging up from his leg and firing another shot towards Xanatos as he's shoved aside.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade fires a gun into Erevis' gut, dropping her. He gets to his feet. "We're pulling out, Chad. Leave them." 6He throws an arm around Chad and moves them into a side hallway quickly.
* Xanatos rolled low with the push, knowing Chad to be a bit trixsy, he slid up to his feet and widen his eyes, rushing over to Erevis' side. "Erevis!"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis kneels there, holding pressure to her wound. "He avoided anything vital."
* Chad`Winters is dragged in by Spade. A grimaced look on his face.
<DeathStar> <Darien on comm> Understood. 6He begins to regain feeling in his body
<DeathStar> <Spade> I read Darien's mind. Origin is gone . We need to locate Sera now. 6He gets Chad onto a ramp access and pulls the lever, lifting them up.
<Chad`Winters> I think Erevis broke my leg...
* Chad`Winters plops onto the ground and grabs his leg, seconds later after a sickening poping noise and a loud growl.

* Xanatos glances at Darien, and moves back. He rips his shirt and begins to wrap it around Erevis' wound.

<DeathStar> 6* As they travel through the sewer exit, they emerge outside again.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> ...he didn't have anything obvious on him when we ran into him...
<DeathStar> <Darien> He could have grabbed it after engaging us. That teleporter of his is deadly. I don't understand how the radiation a teleporter produces isn't killing him.

<DeathStar> 6* Darien motions ahead. "Lets go." 6He moves toward their shuttle. Erevis moves along, slowly, but able body still
* Setsuna` is waiting at the shuttle, powered up and ready to go.
<DeathStar> 6* As they approach the shuttle, it suddenly explodes, knocking DArien back.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien winces, then his eyes widen. "SETSUNA!"
<Cassandra_Arakawa> We need to develop a countermeasure to that teleporter... ... ...hell...
* Xanatos blinks and eyes the shuttle. "Damnit..' he breaths.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis rushes into the flames of the shuttle quickly, moving as fast as she cna.
* Xanatos watches Erevis. "Erevis!"

<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes the flaming wreckage of the shuttle. A piece fo the panel hits the ground near them, smoking.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis emerges with an injured Setsuna. She stumbles away from the flames, holding onto the woman, holding her in a psionic field. She collapses, coughing up smoke
* Xanatos rushes over and catches them both, "Holy...he-Are you ok?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I have mild burns. Setsuna might have broken an arm.
* Xanatos glances at Darien. "What the hell do we do?"
* Setsuna` coughs, "...makes me wish I set off proximity fuses too..." She's nearly out cold.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> We have to move in case Janus comes to check out the blast.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien calls Chip to send in a replacement shuttle, then he flops down beside Setsuna, working on her arm.
* Xanatos checks Erevis' burns.

<Ariel> "At this moment, I find myself open to suggestions."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> The size of this planet makes searching harder. I would suggest we split into two groups and each take a continent's biggest city, and do our own search from there.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "So, who goes with whom?"
* Dias stands infront of the viewscreen, staring at the picture of the planet.
* Ariel nods in agreement, and waits to see if anyone has requests for the groups

* Dias runs past Hotaru and Zehpyr and into the shuttle.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl steps into her shuttle, moving over to the pilot seat. Zephyr runs after Dias.

* Ariel takes a seat next to Cheryl, "Do you think they'll be alright on their own?"

* Ariel nods slowly. She honestly isn't concerned about Avalon. The others, on the other hand...

* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru straps into the pilot seat, unless there's a designated pilot already

<Ariel> "I've been given no reason to believe that he'll fight me on a skewed playing field. Nor will I have him reason to believe the same of me. If I am to loose... I will not be underhanded to ensure the win."

<Dias> So are we going to get some ice cream?

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl heads for the second continent, veering away.

<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Um, aren't we suppose to go to the first continent, Hotaru?
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "Ah, yes.."
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru corrects her course before it becomes too obvious how distracted she is

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl flies them over the city. Suddenly, their sensor alarm goes off, and the shuttle is hit.
* Ariel quickly checks the sensors, trying to locate the attacker. She trusts Cheryl to take evasive action.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl begins to try to move the shuttle, but it seems a rail gun took out their back engines. They're going down, and it's all Cheryl can do to keep them from plummeting
<Ariel> "...try to stear us towards an unpopulated area if you can."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Understood. 6She strains as they go down. She aims for the country side and the shuttle slams into the ground, but it doesn't rip apart.
* Ariel coughs a little, as she pulls herself from her seat. "...are you okay?"
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl unbuckles herself. "I'm fine...." 6She's pissed.
<Ariel> "Do we know who hit us?
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I give you three guesses who uses a rail gun.
<Ariel> "...point taken."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl kicks open the broken door and gets outside, looking around
* Ariel steps outside warily, "This is going to complicate things."
<DeathStar> 6* A rail gun blast flies at them from a vantage point near the hills. Cheryl grabs Ariel instinctively, moving both of them away as it hits the shuttle and blows it up.
* Ariel mutters under her breath. "We need cover. Quick."
<DeathStar> 6* The nearest cover is some trees nearby, but they would not stand up to a rail gun.
<Ariel> NRP: Towards, or away from the city?
<DeathStar> NRP: Towards. The hills are away.
* Ariel nods, "But they'd be enough to make it difficult to target us."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Lets go. 6She runs for it as another rifle shot fires at them.
* Ariel darts as well, keeping enough distance between her and Cheryl, so not to endanger them both.
<DeathStar> 6* They reach the tree line in time. The shots stop momentarily.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I could divert her attention.
<Ariel> "...I don't wish to use you as a decoy."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> We have little choice here unless you see another alternative.
* Ariel hesitates, "...don't get hit."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl dashes out quickly. As expected, shots are fired at her.
* Ariel darts off quickly towards the city
<DeathStar> 6* Ariel makes it without incident.
* Ariel pauses, waiting for sign of Cheryl
<DeathStar> 6* Nothing so far.
<DeathStar> 6* Time keeps passing. No sign of Cheryl.
* Ariel closes her eyes, and trys to sense her.
<DeathStar> 6* She's alive, but it seems she's not coming toward her.
* Ariel urges her to come, though doesn't compel, and starts into the city, looking for a public terminal to start searching
<DeathStar> 6* The response is muffled. Trouble. Cheryl is trouble.
* Ariel doesn't go to the datacenter then, and quickly doubles back
<DeathStar> 6* She arrives at the shuttle again. Nothing seems to be going on....
* Ariel trys to lock onto Cheryl's location, and heads that way
<DeathStar> 6* Vector appears behind Ariel, firing at her back. "Surprise."
* Ariel spins around quickly, trying to catch the side of the gun.
<DeathStar> 6* Vector makes it vanish, punching at Ariel.
* Ariel moves closer, trying to lock Vector's arm under her own.
<DeathStar> 6* Ariel's right arm is grabbed. She forms a pistol with her left and aims it at Ariel's stomach, trying to fire.
<Ariel> NPR: That was a confusing typo.
<DeathStar> NRP: LOLL!
<DeathStar> NRP: Hell
* Ariel moves her hand to Vector's head, energy cracking. "...if you fire, the shot won't be fatal. The same cannot be said about mine. Where's Cheryl?"
<DeathStar> <Vector> ... Near the hill. I managed to wound her leg. 6She states flatly. "She was bait for you."
<Ariel> "...you were also the one that nearly killed Zephyr."
<DeathStar> <Vector> Yes. I look forward to finishing the job.
<Ariel> "...don't tempt me."
<DeathStar> <Vector> I---aIEEE! 6She falls to her knees, grabbing her head.
* Ariel releases Vector, taking a step back
<DeathStar> 6* Avalon walks up, holding out his hand. "Vector, your disservice us with this act of dishonor."
* Ariel regards Avalon, but says nothing.
<DeathStar> <Avalon> Leave. 6Vector nods weakly, vanishing. Avalon stands there. "This attack was unbefitting."
<Ariel> "She seems to have little interest in your plans."
<DeathStar> <Avalon> She is more eager to kill you anyway possible. Even if it's underhanded.
* Ariel just nods. It's plainly obvious that she isn't fond of Vector.
<DeathStar> <Avalon> Here. Your Hotaru beat my Scythe. 6He tosses the second part of the nav. down. "However, I assure you, we will be waiting to end this at the third planet." 6He turns, fading away.

* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru heads to a terminal, hoping not to look TOO much 'clueless tourist'
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru checks the terminal for any kind of clue where to go next. Without actual co-ordinates, it might be hard

* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru stands ready, watching, as she says that line, then lunges, spinning her scythe at Scythe

<DeathStar> 6* Scythe blocks with her own, bringing her long pole to block the attack. She then shoves against Hotaru
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru is pushed back, quickly recovering
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru brings her scythe rounds for another attack, seemingly just testing Scythe's defenses for now
* Dias moves to advance on Scythe.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru swings at Scythe, preparing a kick to her midsection if blocked

* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru moves to one side, slamming Scythe with the pole

So far the Prototype has no shields, but they are quickly being repaired and the repair crews give an estimated time of 1 hour before everything is 90% operational again.
<DeathStar> 6* Also, Arhnya has been in the medical bay, unconscious since her bizzare move in the last episode, and currently Lombardia sits beside her bed, waiting for her to wake up, already patched up himself.

* Cole stands at the base of a shuttle ramp, waiting for Fox.
* Red_Fox heads over to the ramp, being only a little behind Cole

* Shiva` nods, typing on her terminal as she goes over the battle plan.
* Cole nods to her. "You still have those coordinates?"

* Red_Fox climbs onto the shuttle
<DeathStar> NRP: The planetary defense platforms are more likely to blow you up than the fleet.
* Cole moves into the shuttle, closing the ramp. He sits down in the pilots seat and presses the comm, "Shiva. Can you scan the surface and look for a weak point in the defense platforms, so that we can fly to the surface?"
<Shiva`> Comm: Now without alerting them to our plan.

<Cole> <Comm> Any suggestions on how we could get down to the planet? Warren is expecting us...or Fox at least.
<Shiva`> Comm: Take one of the proto-type cloaked ships. Odd's are he's expecting you at that specified time and will do something about the area's Planet Defenses.

* Cole nods to Fox and moves back out of the shuttle. Moving for a special cloaked shuttle.

* Cole glances around, pressing his Comm. "Shiva, what was that?"

<Cole> Damnit. *he checks the time, seeing how much longer they have*

* Cole looks up at the light from the teleporter beam, he instantly cloaks the ship.
<Rylon> 2A soldier appeared in the hanger. He glanced down at his scanner, getting a reading on Yloi lifesigns..before making a break directly toward their position.

<DeathStar> <Lombarida> ... 6He looks relieved, very worried.
<Cole> I'm going after them. *he stands and moves toward the back of the shuttle* If i'm not back in time, go ahead to Warren.

<Rylon> 2His pace was incredible, his feet slamming into the metallic surface..his feet seeming to blur to the normal eyes. As he went, a pair of swords got pulled from slots in the armor, those red eyes glowing fiercly.
<DeathStar> <Lombardia> Rylon? 6He asks, reaching over for a blaster.
* Cole runs down the ramp and follows after the soldier, assuming he will be going for Arhn since the Hanger was blown up. He heads for the medical bay.
* Red_Fox heads to the back of the shuttle, and waits, watching
<Shiva`> 6Several Guards borrowed from a different Flag Ship begin opening fire on the man as he runs.
<Arhn> No...just one of many...
<Rylon> 2Those eyes glowed once more, and his swords flashed forward. They rammed into his blades, getting sent directly back at their firer..something different about those indeed. He did a skidding slide, hius blades striking out at the guards in quick succession..with pinpoint tactic. But he never took a moment to stop, he had a mission..and kept on going.
<Shiva`> 6Notes they were firing from behind him so it'd be hard to get him like that.
<Rylon> 2If they were firing behind him, then he wouldn't attack at all..he'd quickly leap off to the side of the oncoming shots..and kept on going.
<Shiva`> 6They continue firing from behind as they follow from a safe distance, obviously judging him a real threat
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia locks the medical bay doors. "They must be here for you."
* Cole dashes up to the guards, "Cover me." He says as he moves on after the soldier.
<Rylon> 2He suddenly retracts once blade, and an explosive grenade comes into his hand. It was launched behind him, as he got tagged in the arm armor by a stray shot. But Cole and the others would be in for a rude awakening..

<Shiva`> 6The Three soldiers suddenly duck into rooms as the grenade rolls down.
<Rylon> 14"Follow that" 2He said, and pressed a button on his armor..it exploded in a flash of energy, annihating anything it touches. His pace picked up, and his eyes glowing once more..he was near the medical bay..
* Cole had moved inside with the guards and just as soon as the explosion subsided he bolted out for the soldier.
<Shiva`> 6The guards ducks out after Cole following his lead.
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia waits with a gun, keeping his back against the wall. "I will protect you, Arhn."
<Rylon> 2It seemed to be more of a device to buy him time, allowing him to get further ahead of his pursuers..why they ducked for cover from the explosives. Something else retracted from his wrist, and he tossed it onto the edge of a round corner..where it clinged. He made a B Line for the medical door, as another grenade was tossed directly toward her. He backed up out of his wrists, creating yet 2

<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, a turrent gun lowers and fires at Ry - someone got the defenses back up somehow.
* Cole pulls up his pistol and fires into the corner, incase it was a bomb he placed.
<Rylon> 2He was mildly surprised, and quickly bounced forward in a roll under the shots. Like a bunny he shut upwards, to stab the turret and continue his process.
<Red_Fox> NRP: Cole is pulling a Terra! :P
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia, with the medical door blown open, fires at the soldier.

* Cole comes sliding up behind the soldier, he puts his pistol away and ignites his Katars, cutting off the soldier's escape.
<Rylon> 2He doesn't waste time, as he comes skidding in. His eyes glow once more and he twists, his sword coming forward to displace the shots to the side. He found himself hit on the chest, leg, and arm but he rushed lombardia..and attempted to rip his blade into his stomach and lift him into the air..using his other hand to quickly disarm lombardia. In the hallway, it would indeed explode, and send a 2
<Rylon> 2 massive surge of energy directly toward him..nevermind..somehow he slipped by..I guess. 2
<Shiva`> 6The 3 solders slide behind Cole taking guard with him as the explosion goes off.
<Arhn> 6* The soldier runs right smack into an invisible wall...
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia blinks, unable to match the soldier's speed, when the wall protects him
* Cole moves in, thrusting his katars out for the soldier's back.
<Rylon> 2This didn't seem to stop him, and he attempted to break it with uncanny might that was uncommon in most Erusians, and throw his sword directly toward Lombardias gut

<Rylon> 2He watches his swords get yanked, and somehow..all he does is grin. 14"Blow me" 2With that said, 2 grenades fall from each wrist..and almost like he was suicidal..and long before Arhn could have a hope to knock them away, He fires

<Cole> NRP: I'm glad he got stabbed in the back a few minutes ago.
<Rylon> NRP: Yes, to set them off before detonation time. Near Lombardia
<Rylon> NRP: I just now caught it, Cole, like you..accidently missed a post
<DeathStar> 6* As the soldier is stabbed through the back (yes), the grenades are hit and explode, ripping out even an invisible wall and hit Lombardia with explosive force, but the force also hits the soldier, too, and Cole. Arhn is far enough away to be fine
<Shiva`> NRP: He would've backed right into the Katars tech.
* Cole is sent flying back from the explosion, flying out of the med-bay and skidding across the floor.
<Rylon> 2He gets blown backwards from the force, and stabbed on top of that. He let out a defiant laugh, as he crashed into a wall in the medical bay, his armor shattered in spots.
<Arhn> 6* Lombardia is yanked back toward Arhn after the blast has cleared...
<Shiva`> 6The three soldiers grab onto Cole and falls down from his weight
<Arhn> ...so...this was Xevil's plan...it was Lombardia who was your target...
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia appears to be bleeding pretty bad, but it's not quite dead yet.
* Cole is catched and pulls himself up, bleeding in spots and smoking slightly. "Thanks." He says, as he helps them up and activates his katars again, moving in. If the soldier wasn't dead, he'd show him how with his katars.
<Rylon> 2The soldier laughs, injured..as he moves his arms up, his hand sliding over a panel. 14"Boom." 2He pressed the button

* Cole slides back, looking to Arhn. "Are..you ok?"

* Red_Fox checks the time to departure, hoping Cole is alright, but not wanting to leave the shuttle unattended

* Cole opens a open channel comm on the ship. "We need any medical personnel to the medical bay. Lombardia has been injured."
<DeathStar> <Medical Officer> We cannot. The bridge crew has been injured.
<Shiva`> 6Several doctors who went into hiding step out and begin attending to Lombardia.
<DeathStar> NRP: There, someone cares about your Shiva.
<Cole> <Comm> Is Shiva ok? *he says, suddenly remembering she was on the bridge*
<DeathStar> <Medical Officer> Yes, she has a broken arm, though. Here. I will put her on.
<Shiva`> Comm: Gah you blasted..Leave my arm...
<Cole> <Comm> Shiva! Are you alright?
<Shiva`> Comm: Cole? What the hell happened? Everytthing was fine then someone teleported a bomb on board.
<Red_Fox> Comm: So that's what it was.. do you have anything to block teleportation?
<Cole> Another one of those soldiers teleported on and attacked the med-bay. It seemed his target was lombardia. Who is still alive, but barely.
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia begins to fade, his eyes closing and opening rapidly.
<Arhn> ...it was Rylon.
<Shiva`> Comm: A diversional tactic...GAH, I said I'm fine....It was no doubt the Myhr....
<DeathStar> 6* The view screen, while cracked and damaged, begins to flicker as a hail is given. An officer, still alive, looks at Shiva. "Shall I put it on?"
<Shiva`> Put it on please...*she pushes herself up off the floor and leans against the reamins of her chair
<Cole> <Comm> Arhn said it was Ry...and Lombardia is slipping...these doctors are doing everything they can..
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil's face appears. "Hello, Shiva Sevintes. We will now accept your surrender. The Yloi are beaten. Lombardia is dead. This war is pointless."

<DeathStar> <Xevil> We assumed the life of a few would be more ... helpful for everyone if you didn't lose an entire fleet.

* Cole looks at Arhn, a frown on his face. "I need to go. Everything seems safe for the moment, i'll leave guards here to keep you safe." He pauses to look down at lombardia, a frown on his face as he turns and leaves.
<DeathStar> <Xevil> Is your foul mood worth the destruction of your fleet? We outnumber you 2 to 1.
<Arhn> ...Shiva does not intend to surrender...and neither will I.

<Arhn> The storm clouds are gathering on the horizon now...

<DeathStar> <Myhr> Thank you. This alliance with the Tsivrixsh is a disgrace. We cannot allow it. 6The fleet pulls up into a defense position with Shiva's fleet. Putting the two fleets even now
* Cole slides up into the shuttle and closes the ramp, taking the pilots seat. "Let's go pay our friend a visit." He cloaks the ship and moves out of it, heading for the surface.
* Arhn then kneels down...laying a hand on Lombardia...
<Shiva`> The bridge is totaled. Begin transfering commands to the Pegasus Room.
* Shiva` moves out of the room, heading to the Pegasus Room several decks down.
<DeathStar> 6* Cole and Red Fox make it through, amazingly.
<DeathStar> <Communication Officer> Ma'am, we're picking up a signal from the planet to the ship. I think we can listen in.

<Red_Fox> NRP: Enough detail in the co-ords to know where on the platform to go?
* Cole brings the shuttle through the atmo and heads for the platform, keeping low.

* Shiva` holds her ear as she enters the Pegasus Room, a back-up bridge of sort that was prepared when the bridge was attacked the 1st time.
* Cole brings the shuttle to land outside their coordinates, he glances at Fox, "Should I decloak?"
<Rylon> 14"Ah hell, I suppose...patch it through, preferably encrypted."
<DeathStar> <John> I don't have an encryption code.
<Red_Fox> "I don't think it matters much."

* Cole nods and decloaks the shuttle, he stares out at the platform.
* Shiva` clenches her right fist, her knuckles cracking. 1"That traitor...
<DeathStar> <John> Oh, I'm not coming to you. And you guys aren't getting in, either. Red couldn't enter. It detects people who don't meet the requirements and opens fire. Psionic based, I think, since I got through undetected, thanks to a gift. There was nothing in there worthwhile, anyway, for my cause, so I took a teleporter I found and brought it on my shuttle, since I figure you guys are going to blow this planet with this stupid fighting

* Cole nods and comes up to the entrance, he checks to see if he can open it.
<DeathStar> 6* The entrance lifts up. Warren stands there. <Warren> Cole.
* Red_Fox follows, at a short distance.
<Rylon> 14"...Yes, I never wanted to do this..but had I not, the people would have led themselves into oblivion. I understand I may need to kill them, but if I can avoid it..I will, however..if I must..then I am willing to see it to the end. All I want is freedom for my people, I tried to get Arhn to appeal to the council..but as usual..Lombardia was too proud in his position..he controlled the council"
* Cole breaths a sigh of relief. "Warren. It is good to see you."

<DeathStar> <Warren> Come this way. 6He moves over to some controls. "I've been working on implanting a virus Kane gave me into their planetary network and bring it down."
* Shiva` sits down in the new command chair. Her face contorts at John's words. 1"That son of a bitch...
* Cole nods his head, motioning for Fox to come along. "A virus, huh?"
<DeathStar> 6* John sighs deeply. "Ry, I cannot let you kill them, you realize this, right?"
* Red_Fox heads closer to Cole and Warren
<Rylon> 14"..I understand, but I cannot simply surrender..not after all this time..if I need to die for this..then I will. My people, come before my emotions"

* Cole nods his head. "It may be our only chance for victory." He says with a frown.

<Red_Fox> "We'll have to do it quick, before they notice, then."

<Rylon> 2A shuttle decloaks on the platform, and lands with it's front turned toward Cole. The ramp hisses open, as about 20 elite soldiers..and the same damaged soldier moved out after them. They were all heavily armed.

* Rylon crosses his hands behind his back, as he glances over at the ships. 14"So, what is your plan to bring this conflict to it's end..currently we outnumber them..and they have Warren on the ground..likely on one of our defense platforms, and they have the cartel fleet right above them..blockading our way to the planet"
<DeathStar> <Xevil> I have formulated a plan that could end this war immediately and decisively, with minimal casualities. My generals do not like the idea, as they would prefer a glorious space battle, but I feel this plan would be more suited to your desires.
<Rylon> 14"Yes, as good as a head on battle is..I put my people before pride first and always"
<DeathStar> <Xevil> Our teleporters could get you onto the prototype ship while their shields are down. You would merely have to kill Lombardia, in order to end this civil war. The female, Arhnya, was ready to surrender to you before the previous battle, but Lombardia was the voice that pressed the war forward. If you kill him, then tell Arhnya there is no need for further bloodshed, she will likely surrender to you

<DeathStar> 6* Ten hours have passed since the initial battle, and while the Erusian/Tsivrixsh fleets outnumber the Cartel fleet 2:1, they have made no move forward to bring this bloody stage of the conflict on. So far the Prototype has no shields, but they are quickly being repaired and the repair crews give an estimated time of 1 hour before everything is 90% operational again.
<DeathStar> 6* Also, Arhnya has been in the medical bay, unconscious since her bizzare move in the last episode, and currently Lombardia sits beside her bed, waiting for her to wake up, already patched up himself.

* Cole stands at the base of a shuttle ramp, waiting for Fox.
* Red_Fox heads over to the ramp, being only a little behind Cole

* Shiva` nods, typing on her terminal as she goes over the battle plan.
* Cole nods to her. "You still have those coordinates?"

* Red_Fox climbs onto the shuttle
<DeathStar> NRP: The planetary defense platforms are more likely to blow you up than the fleet.
* Cole moves into the shuttle, closing the ramp. He sits down in the pilots seat and presses the comm, "Shiva. Can you scan the surface and look for a weak point in the defense platforms, so that we can fly to the surface?"
<Shiva`> Comm: Now without alerting them to our plan.

<Cole> <Comm> Any suggestions on how we could get down to the planet? Warren is expecting us...or Fox at least.

* Cole nods to Fox and moves back out of the shuttle. Moving for a special cloaked shuttle.

* Cole glances around, pressing his Comm. "Shiva, what was that?"

* Cole looks up at the light from the teleporter beam, he instantly cloaks the ship.
<Rylon> 2A soldier appeared in the hanger. He glanced down at his scanner, getting a reading on Yloi lifesigns..before making a break directly toward their position.

<Cole> I'm going after them. *he stands and moves toward the back of the shuttle* If i'm not back in time, go ahead to Warren.

<Rylon> 2His pace was incredible, his feet slamming into the metallic surface..his feet seeming to blur to the normal eyes. As he went, a pair of swords got pulled from slots in the armor, those red eyes glowing fiercly.
<DeathStar> <Lombardia> Rylon? 6He asks, reaching over for a blaster.
* Cole runs down the ramp and follows after the soldier, assuming he will be going for Arhn since the Hanger was blown up. He heads for the medical bay.
* Red_Fox heads to the back of the shuttle, and waits, watching
<Shiva`> 6Several Guards borrowed from a different Flag Ship begin opening fire on the man as he runs.
<Arhn> No...just one of many...
<Rylon> 2Those eyes glowed once more, and his swords flashed forward. They rammed into his blades, getting sent directly back at their firer..something different about those indeed. He did a skidding slide, hius blades striking out at the guards in quick succession..with pinpoint tactic. But he never took a moment to stop, he had a mission..and kept on going.
<Shiva`> 6Notes they were firing from behind him so it'd be hard to get him like that.
<Rylon> 2If they were firing behind him, then he wouldn't attack at all..he'd quickly leap off to the side of the oncoming shots..and kept on going.
<Shiva`> 6They continue firing from behind as they follow from a safe distance, obviously judging him a real threat
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia locks the medical bay doors. "They must be here for you."
* Cole dashes up to the guards, "Cover me." He says as he moves on after the soldier.
<Rylon> 2He suddenly retracts once blade, and an explosive grenade comes into his hand. It was launched behind him, as he got tagged in the arm armor by a stray shot. But Cole and the others would be in for a rude awakening..
<Arhn> He is here for all Yloi...
<Shiva`> 6The Three soldiers suddenly duck into rooms as the grenade rolls down.
<Rylon> 14"Follow that" 2He said, and pressed a button on his armor..it exploded in a flash of energy, annihating anything it touches. His pace picked up, and his eyes glowing once more..he was near the medical bay..
* Cole had moved inside with the guards and just as soon as the explosion subsided he bolted out for the soldier.
<Shiva`> 6The guards ducks out after Cole following his lead.
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia waits with a gun, keeping his back against the wall. "I will protect you, Arhn."
<Rylon> 2It seemed to be more of a device to buy him time, allowing him to get further ahead of his pursuers..why they ducked for cover from the explosives. Something else retracted from his wrist, and he tossed it onto the edge of a round corner..where it clinged. He made a B Line for the medical door, as another grenade was tossed directly toward her. He backed up out of his wrists, creating yet 2

<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, a turrent gun lowers and fires at Ry - someone got the defenses back up somehow.
* Cole pulls up his pistol and fires into the corner, incase it was a bomb he placed.
<Rylon> 2He was mildly surprised, and quickly bounced forward in a roll under the shots. Like a bunny he shut upwards, to stab the turret and continue his process.
<Red_Fox> NRP: Cole is pulling a Terra! :P
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia, with the medical door blown open, fires at the soldier.

* Cole comes sliding up behind the soldier, he puts his pistol away and ignites his Katars, cutting off the soldier's escape.
<Rylon> 2He doesn't waste time, as he comes skidding in. His eyes glow once more and he twists, his sword coming forward to displace the shots to the side. He found himself hit on the chest, leg, and arm but he rushed lombardia..and attempted to rip his blade into his stomach and lift him into the air..using his other hand to quickly disarm lombardia. In the hallway, it would indeed explode, and send a 2

<Shiva`> 6The 3 solders slide behind Cole taking guard with him as the explosion goes off.
<Arhn> 6* The soldier runs right smack into an invisible wall...
<DeathStar> 6* Lombardia blinks, unable to match the soldier's speed, when the wall protects him
* Cole moves in, thrusting his katars out for the soldier's back.
<Rylon> 2This didn't seem to stop him, and he attempted to break it with uncanny might that was uncommon in most Erusians, and throw his sword directly toward Lombardias gut

<DeathStar> 6* As the soldier is stabbed through the back (yes), the grenades are hit and explode, ripping out even an invisible wall and hit Lombardia with explosive force, but the force also hits the soldier, too, and Cole. Arhn is far enough away to be fine

* Cole is sent flying back from the explosion, flying out of the med-bay and skidding across the floor.
<Rylon> 2He gets blown backwards from the force, and stabbed on top of that. He let out a defiant laugh, as he crashed into a wall in the medical bay, his armor shattered in spots.
<Arhn> 6* Lombardia is yanked back toward Arhn after the blast has cleared...
<Shiva`> 6The three soldiers grab onto Cole and falls down from his weight

* Cole is catched and pulls himself up, bleeding in spots and smoking slightly. "Thanks." He says, as he helps them up and activates his katars again, moving in. If the soldier wasn't dead, he'd show him how with his katars.
<Rylon> 2The soldier laughs, injured..as he moves his arms up, his hand sliding over a panel. 14"Boom." 2He pressed the button

<Cole> Another one of those soldiers teleported on and attacked the med-bay. It seemed his target was lombardia. Who is still alive, but barely.

<Shiva`> Comm: A diversional tactic...GAH, I said I'm fine....It was no doubt the Myhr....

* Cole slides up into the shuttle and closes the ramp, taking the pilots seat. "Let's go pay our friend a visit." He cloaks the ship and moves out of it, heading for the surface.
* Arhn then kneels down...laying a hand on Lombardia...
<Shiva`> The bridge is totaled. Begin transfering commands to the Pegasus Room.
* Shiva` moves out of the room, heading to the Pegasus Room several decks down.
<DeathStar> 6* Cole and Red Fox make it through, amazingly.
<DeathStar> <Communication Officer> Ma'am, we're picking up a signal from the planet to the ship. I think we can listen in.

<Red_Fox> NRP: Enough detail in the co-ords to know where on the platform to go?
* Cole brings the shuttle through the atmo and heads for the platform, keeping low.

* Shiva` holds her ear as she enters the Pegasus Room, a back-up bridge of sort that was prepared when the bridge was attacked the 1st time.
* Cole brings the shuttle to land outside their coordinates, he glances at Fox, "Should I decloak?"
<Rylon> 14"Ah hell, I suppose...patch it through, preferably encrypted."
<DeathStar> <John> I don't have an encryption code.
<Red_Fox> "I don't think it matters much."

* Cole nods and decloaks the shuttle, he stares out at the platform.
* Shiva` clenches her right fist, her knuckles cracking. 1"That traitor...

Psionic based, I think, since I got through undetected, thanks to a gift. There was nothing in there worthwhile, anyway, for my cause, so I took a teleporter I found and brought it on my shuttle, since I figure you guys are going to blow this planet with this stupid fighting

<Rylon> 2A shuttle decloaks on the platform, and lands with it's front turned toward Cole. The ramp hisses open, as about 20 elite soldiers..and the same damaged soldier moved out after them. They were all heavily armed.

<DeathStar> 6* After Kane's awakening, and the hospital checking on him, they quickly discovered that his guest, Serena Cran, was no longer there. Checking out the hospital cameras have revealed she never left the room. The hospital immediately sent a call into President Cran, and he in turn has gotten in touch with Spade and Chad, who now stand in the hospital room with Kane.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade stands there, adjusting his scanner. He glances at the readings, a frown on his face as he stands there. "Trace signatures of radiation."
* Kane stands there, his face pale, mostly with worry. "So it was Adam." He says with a frown.
<Chad`Winters> It was him.
<Chad`Winters> NRP: *wonders how Kane would know about the trace signatures of radiation*
<Kane> NRP: Because he is god.
<Chad`Winters> This is the 2nd attempt he's made for her.
<Kane> 3rd. *he clarifies*
<DeathStar> <Spade> It would appear he was successful. 6He notes, shutting down the datapad.
* Chad`Winters eyes Kane. 1"Then Serena was a target from the beginning. But why?"
<Kane> She is the omega. *he states, sitting down on his bed*
* Chad`Winters scoffs. 1"I doubt that is the reason."
<DeathStar> <Voice> Actually, that's exactly the reason. 6President Cran walks in.
* Chad`Winters quirks his head, eyeing Cran as he walks in. 1"Father."
* Kane looks to President Cran, he goes even paler. Kane brings a hand up to his face, rubbing it slowly.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade looks up.
<DeathStar> <President Cran> Chad. 6He moves over. "I believe that V.I. has taken Serena to exploit her Dragoon potiential."
<Chad`Winters> How's that possible?
<Kane> Wouldn't it be worthless without me too?
<DeathStar> <President Cran> Killing you would have helped break the bond, but they can ... exploit it in other ways. Brainwashing, most likely, to try to scrub out the pilot bond.
* Kane frowns. "If they somehow sever the bond, it could cause even more problems with her." He says with a sigh.
<DeathStar> <Spade> ... Yes. I see now. 6He considers, finally seeing something.
<Chad`Winters> But then they'd have to find a way to force her to create a new bond.
<Kane> Mind control. *he says, repeating what Cran said*
<DeathStar> <President Cran> Correct. I would have thought they would have tried to manipulate Kane to get her, but I fear they don't want him. He is a low-ended bond with her - no insult intended to you, Kane.
* Kane just shrugs. "Nothing I don't already know."
* Chad`Winters scratches the back of his head, thinking.
<DeathStar> <President Cran> You see, Spade isn't even a high-end bond for Serena. He is an upper level medium bond, due to his ability to know her thoughts before she does it. However, he doesn't have the necessary mind development for a full bond. You see, Serena's body and powers become stronger the more sharp and intuitive the mind is.

* Chad`Winters eyes Cran, his eyes narrowing slightly.
<DeathStar> <Spade> A genius in all areas of the mind would allow Sera not to be solely limited to one skill, but dozens.
* Kane frowns, feeling very unworthy at that moment, but saying nothing.
<Chad`Winters> Then our time is very limited.
<DeathStar> <Spade> We've located the base finally, in a valley. I'm going to get all the Janus troops ready, to provide us backup as we try to take the base.
<Kane> When can we leave?
<DeathStar> <Spade> Me and Chad will go immediately. 6* Cran goes to say something, but Spade holds up his hand. "You must stay here, sir. We cannot risk you being injured in this. Chad and I will handle it."
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, Kane would feel an emptiness - a familiar bond presence is gone.
* Kane hangs his head. "The bond has been broken."
* Chad`Winters tisks. 1"We need to go now." 6Moves towards the door. 1"Don't worry Kane, we'll bring her back."
<Kane> I'm coming too. *he says, standing up*
<Chad`Winters> Your bodies not ready for a fight. You just woke up from a coma.
<Kane> And your point?
<DeathStar> <Spade> He's correct. Your body has been in a state of rest for over a week. Moving off into a mission would be foolhardy.
<Chad`Winters> You're a hazard to this mission.
<Chad`Winters> You'l drop the success rate by atleast 43%.
<Kane> I'm not going to leave her fate up to either of you. I'm coming whether you want me to or not. *he says clearly getting angry*
* Chad`Winters eyes Cran then Spade.
<DeathStar> <President Cran> Let the young man go. 6He says. Spade nods, accepting the order.
* Chad`Winters rubs the back of his head as he shakes it.
* Kane looks to Cran and nods his thanks. "Let's go."
<DeathStar> 6* Spade moves out without another word, moving down the hospital cooridors.
* Kane moves past Chad, following Spade. He had already gotten dressed, so he wasn't in his hospital gown anymore.
<Chad`Winters> This is a foolish gamble father. 6He turns and steps out
<DeathStar> 6* Cran stands there as Chad walks out, clearly worried. He rubs his face.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade steps out where a Janus military attack ship is ready. He gets on it
* Kane steps on as well. "If I start to slow you down. Just keep going without me." He says, moving back for the weapons locker."
* Chad`Winters steps on after Kane. 1"If you slow us down, we'll just shoot you."
<DeathStar> 6* Spade moves over as the ship takes off. He puts on his armor, adjusting his weapons.
<Kane> Now thats just messy. *he says as he begins to put on his armor.
<Chad`Winters> It's a moot point since we won't have to clean up.
* Chad`Winters moves to the back of the shuttle and pulls off his uniform top and pants, revealing his trademark Tactical Suit. He begins grabbing things off the rack.
* Kane shrugs, getting his weapons ready. "At least if you leave me behind I stand a chance of survival."
<Chad`Winters> Yeah, I'm sure...6He reaches behind his back placing a small gun on a clip1 They'll see you and decide it's not worth the plasma round.
<Kane> I sure hope so. *he says with clear annoyance with Chad* We can't all be perfect little clones now can we?
<DeathStar> 6* Spade is quiet, letting them bicker, obviously too drained to care.
<DeathStar> 6* The ship flies along. Spade works to radio troop activity.
<Chad`Winters> This has nothing to do with that. This has to do with a successful mission and quite frankly you're not in it.
<Kane> Fuck you Chad! *he comes up to him, eye to eye* I COULD GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YORU MISSION! I am going only for Sera. You and Spade can have a jolly good time while you go for Eve and that stupid jar of goo.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade glances over at Kane's ourburst.
<Chad`Winters> You think that's all this is about Kane? You think we' just ignore Serena? She's part of that mission.
<Kane> Then i'll handle that part. You just better stay out of my fucking way. *he snarls, moving back and checking a pistol*
<DeathStar> <Spade> Enough. 6He says finally.
<DeathStar> <Spade> I'm tired of you both. We will do everything in our power to bring Eve and Serena home. Your childish antics are tiresome. I will shoot you both if you screw this up.
* Chad`Winters eyes Kane up and down as is making a better judgement of his condition.
* Kane doesn't even looks at them he holsters his pistol and checks his rifle.
<Chad`Winters> I hope those pain killers don't make you groggy. 6He finishes grabbing several grenades and moves over to a wall, leaning against it.
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, they come into range of the base. They are with 10 other Janus vehicles, who begin to bomb the base.
* Chad`Winters reaches up grabbing onto a rung, tightening his grip.
<DeathStar> 6* The V.I. base is in disarray as things explode. Their ship comes in for a landing near the base as it it's bombed.
* Chad`Winters moves over to the door opening the ramp and standing to it's side.
<DeathStar> 6* V.I. soldiers fire at them as they get down.
* Chad`Winters pulls out three smoke grenades from the rack and hurls them towards the ground infront of the shuttle.
* Kane edges to the door and fires at some of the guards with the rifle as the smoke grenades are lobbed.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade steps down, firing into the soldiers after they are smoked. The guards are taken out
* Chad`Winters steps out after Spade pulling both pistols out and charging them
* Kane moves last in the line, ready to fire on anyone and anything.
<DeathStar> 6* Janus troops pour out, firing into the V.I. soldiers, taking them out
<DeathStar> 6* Spade holds his hand, telling Chad and Kane to wait as the two sides tear into each other.
* Chad`Winters watches as the smoke grenades clear, getting a better sight of what's going on.
* Kane slides to a halt, letting them fight, he keeps his eyes onto the high ground, looking for any enemy snipers.
<DeathStar> 6* After a moment, the area is clear, and the troops begin to set up bombs to blow open the doors.
* Chad`Winters watches them intently, obviously eager to get inside.
<DeathStar> 6* The bombs go off, blowing up the door and revealing a hallway that leads to a ramp that decends into the base.
* Kane moves towards the entrance, rifle ready and aimed down the hall, lookign for someone to kill.
* Chad`Winters follows behind Kane, his eyes looking about as he progresses
<DeathStar> 6* Spade glances inside, then moves over to the ramp. He taps on it, but it's locked.
<DeathStar> <Spade> Locked out. Kane, hack it.
* Kane lowers the rifle and pulls out his datapad, he plugs it into a side panel and begins to type away, his face tight with anger.
<DeathStar> 6* It unlocks and the ramp gives them access to the base.
* Kane pockets the datapad and pulls up the rifle, ready to kill.
<DeathStar> 6* The ramp lowers.
* Chad`Winters moves down the ramp, sweeping his gun as he moves down it
<DeathStar> 6* Spade takes up rear, keeping his mind open to find intruders.
<DeathStar> 6* They arrive at a hallway. A map shows the hanger to the left, and the rooms to the right
* Kane glances at Spade, wondering which direction they should go in.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade shakes his head, unable to decide.
<Chad`Winters> If they want to escape the Hanger's going to be where they'll go.
<Chad`Winters> Plus it'll give them an advantage to a fight. Space.
<DeathStar> <Spade> Yes. The hanger is a reasonable location to secure in any event.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade begins to move for the hanger.
* Kane moves behind Spade, covering him.
<Chad`Winters> If there aren't any other objections. 6He turns heading down towards the hanger.
<DeathStar> 6* As they arrive in the hanger, they would find Serena and Eve entering it from another side.
* Kane widens his eyes as he sees Sere, but instantly brings his rifle up, to cover them incase someone is near.
* Seraphna sees Kane lifting his rifle and reaches for a gun that isn't there, "Eve they're here!"
<DeathStar> 6* Eve aims her rifle at them. Spade blinks.
<DeathStar> 6* Eve fires at Kane.
* Chad`Winters dashes forward tackling Kane to the ground
<Kane> NRP: I hate you Chad. I was going to move.
* Kane slides along, being tackled by Chad. "What the fuck?"
<DeathStar> 6* Adam teleports it, firing into Spade's back. He drops. <Adam> It's a fucking reunion.
* Kane glares at Adam, pulling his rifle up and firing at him.
* Chad`Winters hits teh ground and slides along it. His body twists and he fires directly towards Adam
<Seraphna> "They're here to kill us... l-let's get a shuttle fast!"
<DeathStar> <Adam> Get to the shuttle, you two. I'll protect you. 6He grins as he says it.
<DeathStar> 6* Eve nods, moving to a shuttle and up the ramp.
<Chad`Winters> Ok, they'be been brainwashed.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade strains to get to his knees, his armor ruined.
* Seraphna rushes to the ramp too, running in quickly.
<Kane> Damnit. *He pulls himself up and fires at Adam again, moving for the shuttle.*
* Chad`Winters quickly moves to his feet and spins around, firing a charged shot towards Adam
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle ramp closes.
<DeathStar> 6* Adam leaps away, firing at Chad.
* Chad`Winters twists his body and fires off, firing one shot from one gun and another shot from behind his back
* Kane pulls ou his datapad while Adam is distracted, hoping this shuttle is connected with the remote device.
<DeathStar> 6* The hanger doors open.
* Seraphna reaches the shuttles weapons console, the turret swinging around to the three
* Chad`Winters twists his left hand and fires a shot into the turret barrel.
* Kane works quickly to take the shuttle under control so they aren't blasted.
* Seraphna fires the turret once before they get a chance.
<DeathStar> 6* Kane's datapad has no effect on the shuttle
<DeathStar> 6* And while Chad hits the turret, it's not enough to cripple it, and it fires.
* Chad`Winters plants against the floor and kicks off trying to get out of the turrets shot
* Kane curses and breaks into a run to the right, he pulls a silver disk out of a pocket and tosses it for the door as he goes.
<Kane> NRP: *ramp
<DeathStar> 6* Spade rolls into a covered position.
<Seraphna> "Fly us out of here, Adam can teleport aboard!"
* Chad`Winters reorientates his body and pulls out two grenades throwing them infront of the shuttle.
<DeathStar> 6* Eve grabs the controls and begins to fly forward.
<DeathStar> 6* The grenades hit the shuttle, detonating. IT shakes the shuttle as it flies onward.
* Kane slides around a box for cover, and pulls out out a small device, hitting the button, a small explosion would emit from the silver disk, hopefully enough to blast open the ramp.
* Chad`Winters counts in his head then begins firing shots towards the shuttle as it flies by
<DeathStar> 6* Adam vanishes in a teleport. A moment later, the shuttle explodes. No life signs are detected.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade jerks forward. "SERENA!"
<Chad`Winters> He must've teleported them off...
* Kane widens his eyes. "DAMNIT!" He leans against the box, breathing lightly. "Serena..." He says more quietly, his head down.
<Chad`Winters> ...*looks around the hanger then makes a dash towards the Hanger opening.
* Kane looks to Chad, and begins to follow. "Where is he going?"
<DeathStar> 6* Spade moves out with him, glancing around. Troops have secured everything outside.
<Chad`Winters> He's either atleas a mile away or he's still inside.
<Kane> How can we find him? *he asks desperately*
<Chad`Winters> Spade, did Janus ever get a scanner with a mile distance made up yet?
<DeathStar> <Spade> Hold on. 6He begins to talk to his troops, ordering them to scan the area.
<Chad`Winters> Adam wouldn't teleport on that shuttle with the damage that was already done. Not unless he planned on taking them with him...
<DeathStar> <Spade> There's a second trace of radiation in the base. 6He says finally. "Below us."
* Chad`Winters eyes the entrance Eve and Serena came out of. 1"I'm sure that leads down.
* Kane glances at the entrance. "Then lets go." He says as he moves toward it.
* Chad`Winters sprints across the hanger towards it.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade follows his datapad, moving down a hallway. He reaches an elevator lift.
* Chad`Winters stops before Elevator lift next to Spade.
* Kane glances at both of them. "THey could have it set up for a trap."
<DeathStar> 6* Spade tries to open it, but it's locked out
<Chad`Winters> Kane, you're department again
* Kane nods and plugs into the panel, quickly getting to work.
<DeathStar> 6* The elevator door opens. Spade hits the bottom level floor.
* Kane slides in.
<DeathStar> 6* They begin to move down.

* Kane arches a brow at Chad.

* Chad`Winters steps out of the elevator, his guns trained down the hallway
* Kane pulls his rifle up as he moves down the hallway.
<DeathStar> <Spade> Darien.
<Chad`Winters> He's here?
<DeathStar> <Spade> Yes. Follow me into (The team darien room)
<DeathStar> NRP: And back in here.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade nods. "We'll get it repaired, Chad."
* Kane has quit IRC (Ping timeout)
* Chad`Winters runs his hand along his leg, his suit around the area suddenly tensing up and stiffening.
<Chad`Winters> I knew we shouldn't have brought Kane...
<DeathStar> <Spade> Yes. His loyality with Xanatos is troublesome. We cannot operate with him anymore. 6He notes, checking his gun.
* Chad`Winters reaches behind his back pulling his last gun. 1"If we're going to catch them, we'll need to move fast.
<DeathStar> <Spade> Darien is desperately collecting Origin. And he might be using black ops to hide his true intentions.
<Chad`Winters> I'm sure Erevis already knows his intentions
* Chad`Winters pushes himself up, his slowly puts pressure on his right leg, testing it.
<Chad`Winters> Not 100%, but I shouldn't slow us down.
<DeathStar> 6* The doors open. Spade nods, moving out into the hallway and leading them back outside to the troops.
* Chad`Winters follows behind Spade, his right leg much more rigid.
<DeathStar> <Trooper> Sir, we checked everything out. We think they escaped by shuttle
<DeathStar> <Spade> Damn.
<Chad`Winters> Spade, you had satellites locked onto this location right?
<DeathStar> <Spade> Yes. But tracing the shuttle won't be easy. It could take days, and the longer V.I. uses their brainwashing, the more imbeded it will become.
<Chad`Winters> Can you think of any other way to track them?
<DeathStar> <Spade> No. I'm afraid not. 6He says, moving to their ship.
* Chad`Winters limps behind Spade. An angered look on his face
<DeathStar> 6* Spade looks calm and neutral, like always. He refuses to let it get to him - at least where his men can see him
<Chad`Winters> If we're going to get to Eve and Serena, we're going to need to come up with a way to take care of Adam first.
<DeathStar> <Spade> Yes.
* Chad`Winters steps onto the shuttle and turns, slamming his fist into the shuttle wall. 1"Damn them for getting in the way."
<DeathStar> <Spade> We will have to deal with DArien eventually. 6He notes, glancing at Chad. "Darien's ambitions cannot get in Janus' way."
<Chad`Winters> We will get what's coming to him soon enough...
