<Shiva`> We've gotten word from the Erusian Embassy that a sizeable ship with the power to destroy a planet is currently heading towards Earth Space now. It's target is Earth.
<Seraphna> Ceres> "Any intel on who's sending it?"
<Shiva`> No, it's from something we haven't encountered in any of our logs.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren eyes them.
<Seraphna> Ceres> "I see... alright, are you heading here?"
<Shiva`> We're not sure we can stop it alone quite honestly. Infact we're not to sure how to stop it.
<Seraphna> Ceres> "Quite alright, just give me an eta on your arrival, Earth has a few tricks up it's sleeve."
<Shiva`> I'm sure Earth believes it's capable but we've seen some of it's damage and it's not to be thought of lightly.
<DeathStar> <Warren> I would like to get in touch with Commodore Starr, if at all possible
<Seraphna> *Ceres seems almost sleepily calm, "Understood, let me see about relaying you to him."
* Shiva` eyes Ceres' posture, but her emotion stays the same.
<DeathStar> 6* They arrive at Earth finally.
* Cole just relaxes off to the side, staring ahead at Eart.
<DeathStar> <Warren> We should try to locate Darien ourselves. She is takin too long. Nor does she even care about the danger. 6He notes after Ceres is gone.

<Shiva`> It was quite obvious. I'm tempted to let the Black Angel wipe out most of their fleet to teach them a lesson.

<Seraphna> *Ceres tunes out when the encryption is sent, of course raising the alert.

<Shiva`> That it is Starr...And the troubles going to get very deep soon.

<Shiva`> Apparently a ship of questionable age has decided to make Earth it's target.
<Shiva`> It's an Ancient Ship apparently...A War ship.
<Shiva`> I don't believe so. This thing apparently warps space time around it.
* Shiva` glances over at Warren looking for help.

<DeathStar> Location: Abandoned VI Base
<DeathStar> 6* After having successfully taking over the VI base from Adam, who mysteriously gave it up without a fight, the team has been going through the various records that are available. Eve, who has been given time to read her journal, has been confined to one of the rooms. John, meanwhile, has weasled out repairs for his ship, and Darien has gone over all the V.I. records and is currently viewing the videos.
* Chad`Winters steps into the room Darien's in. 1"So what have you come up with so far?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sits in front of V.I. video feeds, going over the various records. So far he's managed to avoid Chad Winters, and looks as if he would like to continue to do so. "Don't you have a certain blonde to help?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr sits out on the beach, running her hand through the sand quietly.
* Seraphna sits nearby her, looking at the water blankly, having made no moves to run or resist since she was hit with the device, and unusually subservient to Ariel in particular.
* Dias stands at the water's edge, his shoes off. He seems to be staring down at the water.
<DeathStar> 6* John polishes his ship, which sits on the beach above the hidden underwater base.
* Kane stands on the beach, staring out across the water.
* Ariel sits on a rocky outcrop, down the coat a ways from the beach. She sits quietly, arms wrapped around her knees, and stares out to sea.
<Chad`Winters> You still haven't answered my question.
* Cassandra`Arakawa walks into the computer room in the base.
* Setsuna` lounges on top of John's ship, avoiding doing any work.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I haven't. 6He notes, checking out some video feeds of Seraphna.
* Xanatos slides into the room with Darien and Chad, he slides to the lft and leans against the wall, he remains quiet for right now.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien switches camera feeds to Adam's room. Though it has no sound, he seems to be watching his movements.
<Chad`Winters> They gave them upto quickly, for a group that on the surface, wanted them badly, used them as a decoy.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I guessed as much.
<Chad`Winters> Somethings not right.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl leans on a wall in the computer room, having been there most of the time - quiett.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Mmm. 6He begins to run a specific search for Sera's face in regards to Adam's camera feed.
* Dias looks down at his toes as the water rises and then falls back down
<DeathStar> 6* And indeed, he finds her. Coming into Adam's room. He sits there, watching the silent exchange on Adam's couch.
* Chad`Winters glances over at the feed, eyeing it
<DeathStar> 6* Darien scratches above his eye as it degrades into a sexual encounter. He snorts, saving the feed to his CD.
* Seraphna picks up a rock, throwing it far into the water, watching the waves
* Chad`Winters shakes his head. 1"Keep me posted on anything that occurs.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Well, Sera's certainly frisky.
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... Yeah. 6He notes dryly.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Darien... *spoken as she comes into the room*

<DeathStar> <Darien> Arakawa. 6He notes, running more searches.

* Dias turns and runs across the beach and upto Zephyr.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> ... 6She keeps playing with the sand idlely, obviously tuned out.
* Seraphna turns and looks at Dias, sitting close by her sister.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Do you require my expertise in cyber-infiltration?
* Dias kneels down beside Zephyr and extends a hand, holding out a shell towards her.
* Setsuna` yawns a bit, and peers over the side of the ship. "As fun as this outting was... what are you planning on doing next?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> No. I got this handled fine. Chip's helping me in another section of the base.
* Seraphna looks to Zephyr, "It's strange... to feel the deepest darkness of another..."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr looks up blankly, then takes the shell. "Thank you, Dias."
* Dias beams with pride and runs off back towards the water again, this time leaping into it.

<DeathStar> <John> Clean my ship until it shines.
* Chad`Winters stops outside of the room Eve was placed into and knocks on the door.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien taps his fingers on the keyboard. "One of the other computer network rooms."
<DeathStar> 6* There's no response to Chad.
* Seraphna closes her eyes again, feeling Eve, wrapping around that presence in the bond.
* Chad`Winters knocks again.
<DeathStar> 6* Nothing.
* Chad`Winters types on the terminal, opening the door.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> I'll go look then. Ciao. *heads off in search of Chip*
<DeathStar> 6* The door opens. Eve is sitting at her desk, glancing at paperwork
<Chad`Winters> So do you believe me yet?
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> So. Not telling anyone about Cran? 6She notes to Darien. Darien shoots her a look.
<Setsuna`> "And then?"
* Dias pops out of the water, looking around.
<DeathStar> <John> I don't know yet. I'm not the man with a plan. That's Darien's gig.
<DeathStar> <Eve> Even if I do believe all of this, I could care less.
* Dias walks back onto shore, soaked.
<Chad`Winters> And why's that?
* Xanatos just remains standing there, his face turned in an upset manner.
<DeathStar> <Eve> Because I have no desire to remember any of it. 6She notes stubbornly.
* Seraphna gives what is the equivalent of a mental hug to Eve through the bond, feeling her emotions swelling.
<Chad`Winters> Don't you care to know the truth? To know who really cared about you? Who you're real mother and father were and the feelings the had for you?
* Setsuna` sticks her tongue out, "Would it be better to ask what you want to achieve?"
* Kane turns and makes his way back toward the V.I. base.
<DeathStar> <Eve> No.

<DeathStar> 6* Eve clings back. The more she holds onto the bond, the more she ignores Chad's words. "Your truths are meaningless to me."
<DeathStar> <John> Can't say I'm out to achieve anything.
* Kane walks through the base silently before finally making his way to Darien's room, upon entrance he pauses before he speaks. "Darien."
<Chad`Winters> I've shown you physical evidence that what you were told was a lie, video feed proving that you were in a Janus building working.
<DeathStar> 6* Chip works alone in one of the computer rooms, eating chips.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Kane.
* Seraphna fixes her jacket, having salvaged cltohes from the beach house, standing, feeling the sand between her toes, crying a little as she clings tot he bond, <Whatever the truth is... I don't care either... this bond is so much more thenany reality...>
* Setsuna` flops back, "...that's boring."
<DeathStar> 6* John squints at her. "Yeah, well, I just move where the wind takes me."
<Kane> I have some important news for you. *he says as he slides over to Darien's side*
<DeathStar> <Eve> The only thing that matters is my bond with Sera. I am her pilot.

* Kane leans in to whisper to Darien, explaining to him the revalation that Omega told him. As he speaks he pulls out a chip and motions to it indicating somethign about it.
<Seraphna> <I can barely remember a thing anymore... but... you... you're a part of me.>
<Chad`Winters> Even that's a lie Eve, you were nothing but a pawn to them to be a high grade pilot.
<DeathStar> <Eve> I'm Sera's pilot. That's all that matters to me!
* Xanatos glances at Kane as he walks in, an scowls silently, not wanting to discuss with him the new revalation.
<Chad`Winters> Even if you were forced into it? Into what amount to being slavery?
* Dias moves over to Zephyr, water dripping off his clothes.
<DeathStar> <Eve> I don't care. I care about her. I know her. 6She says with some venom. Clearly, her brainwashing makes her hostile to those who threaten her bond.
<Seraphna> <Were you...? Was I...? Does that even matter...>
<DeathStar> <Darien> Hm. There's something you should know, Kane.
* Kane straitens up. "Yes?"

<DeathStar> 6* Darien motions to the camera feed. "It was recorded. I imagine there is many such encounters."
* Xanatos glances down at the ground, hiding his pain for Kane.

<DeathStar> <Chip> Huh? 6He turns around, lifting his headphones up.
* Kane tightens his fist. His face slowly controts into an angered expression. "So what the hell have I been doing? WHO have I been trying to save!?" He spins around and slams his fist into the wall.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien just watches his reactins.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Yo
* Kane turns back to Darien, his eyes blood red. "Where is she?"
<DeathStar> <Chip> Hey, Cass. Whatcha doing back here?
<Chad`Winters> Human emotion can be controled and molded in the right enviroment. What you believe you feel may appear real, but it's nothing more than a facade.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Beach. 6He notes.
* Kane turns and leaves, sliding the chip back into his pocket.
<DeathStar> <Eve> The bond is real. 6She says firmly, using the same argument.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Couldn't stay out of trouble. Besides, Adam pisses me off.
<DeathStar> <Chip> So I hear. I imagine the Commodore is going to make a career of busting his ass.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien calmly goes back to his work, showing no emotion.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> He has to get in line then.
* Xanatos shakes his head. "You think he'll do something major?"
<DeathStar> <Chip> So, what unit are you working for these days?

<Chad`Winters> Be it as it may, how can something that was founded on lies and deceit be worth holding onto?
<Xanatos> Yeah. I'm not so sure how I would handle that. So she was brainwashed, big deal, from what I saw just now. She initiated it.

* Seraphna sits there on teh beach, mulling over her thoughts, it's easy to be calm when your mind has mostly been emptied of worries and memories.

* Kane steps onto the beach, quickly moving over toward Sera and Zephyr. "Serena. We need to talk."
* Dias looks up at Kane, tilting his head slightly.

<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr doesn't acknowledge Kane.
<DeathStar> <Eve> No. 6She notes firmly, moving back to glance at her science book
* Xanatos sighs and looks up. "Anything you need me to do, Darien?"

* Seraphna looks up slowly, blinking, thinking for a moment, "Kane... okay."

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl watches Xan quietly.
<DeathStar> <Chip> Just researching archieve data for Darien.
* Seraphna stands up, "What's up?"
<Xanatos> Then I think I'll go wander around aimlessly. If you need me. You know how to reach me. *He slides out*

<Kane> In private please. *he begins to walk away, barely hiding the anger welling up inside him*
<Chad`Winters> I formed a bond with Dragoon Zephyr, on my first attempt, we pushed each other past what any pair has ever done on the first attempt. And you think I don't know what it's like to have a bond?
<DeathStar> <Chip> I can't really share info with you. Sorry, Cass. You're not offically in the unit anymore.
* Seraphna scratches her head in confusion and follows after him

* Kane pulls his hand out of his pocket and tilts his head. "May I see you're ear?"

<Chad`Winters> I'm formed the bond because I care about you Eve, because I didn't want to see you being used like a tool waiting to be thrown away. I put my life on the line because of what I believed in, something I've done since I was given a second chance.

* Setsuna` glances lazily towards the beach, wondering what the others are up to.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Geez...not like I cna afford to be an independent anyway.

* Kane searches for the portion of Sera's body that the memory chip came from, he slides his hand up to act like he is checking something whenever he takes the chip and injects it back into the slot.
<DeathStar> 6* Eve grabs her journal entry. "Because I found you attractive, yes? Enjoyed spending time with you? Could forsee there being something?" 6She notes as she reads over the journal.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Not so much what?
<Seraphna> *There doesn't appear to be any slot, it seems to have come out of her head, directly fromt eh ear

<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Oh. I'm just tired.

* Kane pulls back. "There is something wrong, I need to run some tests on you. Do you mind?"

* Kane motions towards the base and leads her toward an empty room that with the proper equipment. "Just ill." He notes as he goes.
* Seraphna follows after him quietly
* Chad`Winters takes a deep breathe. 1"Even if you didn't right those things, it wouldn't have changed my actions in the slightest. I would still be here.
<Seraphna> "So what was this place again?"
* Cassandra`Arakawa heads back to where Darien is.
<Kane> A V.I. base. *he says, not turning to regard her*

<Kane> I could tell you if I actually payed attention to briefings.

<Kane> Nothing. I can help you regain some of your memory. I'm not sure how much I can bring back, but some is better than none. *He notes, watching her closely.*

* Kane just scowls whenever she isn't looking, then slides to a stop. "Yes?"

<Setsuna`> "Well... I'll pass. I'm not THAT bored."

* Dias spreads his legs and begins piling sand. 1"Why so tired?"
<Kane> Long ago. *he says as he moves to check her ear, slowly looking around for a place to open up the ear and make way for the chip*

* Chad`Winters sighs, obviously feeling defeated. He turns and moves away.
<DeathStar> <Darien> There's nothing to talk about, Cass. 6He looks at her. "Simply wanting a job isn't enough for me. I want people who have goals like my own. Xan's staying on because he wants to find Erevis. I want Origin. What do YOU want, Cass? Thrills and paychecks? Go somewhere else."

<Cassandra`Arakawa> Alright...I'll tlel you what I want. I want to kick Adam's ass so hard that whatever slimy pool his ancestors crawled out of can feel it.
* Kane scowls and pulls his datapad up, he had already rigged it up so he could view the chip, though he had yet to watch it. "What I have here is a datachip of all your memories of your life up until a few days ago. It begins whenever you first joined PAX. I can let you watch it, though i'm not sure you will want too."
<Seraphna> "I'm not sure I want to either... from what I understand some very terrible things happened."
<DeathStar> <Darien> And you're willing to go through hell itself to get him? Even if it's a hell of my own creation?
<Kane> Oh yes. They did. I know exactly what is on this, I know the good from the bad. I know the right. From the wrong.
* Seraphna looks him over carefully, "Did I do something... to hurt you?"

<Kane> You did. *he notes as he turns his back to her* You are a selfish person Sera. At least you were and i'm sure you still are, just a little confused.
<Chad`Winters> To think for once I've run out of ideas. I can't seem to think of any way to prove to you that what I'm saying is true.
<Seraphna> "What do you mean? What did I do...?"
<DeathStar> <Eve> ... Well, perhaps you cannot win every battle you engage in, Chad Winters?
<DeathStar> 6* John takes a hose, hosing the Aquarius - and Setsuna.
<Chad`Winters> Perhaps. 6He turns, shutting the door behind him. He moves to tap his comm. 1"Kane, where's Serena."
* Setsuna` quickly rolls to the side after getting splashed, "H-hey! I thought you were like the wind, not the ocean!"
<Kane> I was your pilot. I was your lover. *he turned around to her* I loved you. There was no one else in my eyes. *he pauses and glances down* <Comm> With me. Leave us alone. *he snapped before turning back to Sera* You used me.
<DeathStar> <John> I'm all the elements.
<Seraphna> "I what...? How?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> The best kind of trouble is deep trouble, Shiva.
<Chad`Winters> NRP: He's mostly the fire...in his crotch.
* Seraphna looks worried, but the worry seems over his raising voice, she eyes him in concern as if she was talking about him and a complete stranger.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Did you gamble away all your money again, Shiva? 6He says with fake concern.
<Chad`Winters> <Comm> No, I'm getting nowhere with Eve and I think it has to do with that pesky bond those two have.
* Setsuna` idly prods one of the cleaning buckets from the top of the ship, down at John, and then backs away.
<Chad`Winters> Comm: We need to get her to break it, and I'm helping now.
<DeathStar> 6* John stands there - soaked. "You realize I have to get naked now."
* Kane turns to look at her. "You need to watch this. You need to learn who you were. Who you are." He tosses the datapad with all of the video footage on it too her. "Your bond with Eve Summers was forced through brainwashing. You should reconsider what you "know" about your pilot."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Then quit cutting the political bush and TELL me.
<Seraphna> "I don't know anything about my pilot. I only even knwo what my name is right now because you all keep calling me Serena."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Okay. And the military fleet can't handle it?
<Setsuna`> "......"
<Kane> The watch that. *He points to the datapad*
<DeathStar> 6* John pulls off his wet shirt, tossing it onto the sand.
* Seraphna looks at the datapad, then him, "Look, a lot of people have been messing with my mind, controlling me, forcing me into everythingt hey wanted me to do. I can't remember a thing right now, all I know is the one in this bond genuinely cares about me.
* Dias turns looking over at John, squinting.
<DeathStar> <Darien> You didn't answer my question.
<Seraphna> "I don't know how I hurt you, how I used you, and I don't even know if it was me at the time."
* Chad`Winters types on his datapad, locking onto Kane's position and begins moving towards it quickly.
* Kane just shakes his head at her. "Watch it. It'll answer everything."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods. "Alright. This still isn't really clicking why you're calling me."
* Seraphna turns it on, staring at soemthingt hat isn';t video, but intense pulses of code, it's a blackbox, not a regular record at all.
<Seraphna> "Am I this... Omega?"
* Setsuna` sneaks away from John, and towards the beach.
* Kane stares at her. "That was the persona you took whenever you couldn't handle the real world."
* Chad`Winters stops outside the room Kane and Sera are in.
<Seraphna> "That's all that's in here."
<Seraphna> "It's something about an Omega and her mission to protect 'Lady Cran'."
<Seraphna> "Which I guess is me..."
* Chad`Winters opens the door and steps inside.
<Seraphna> "And... someone dying..."
<Seraphna> "No... several people dying..."
<Kane> People you killed. *he nods*
<DeathStar> <John> Later! 6He calls cheerfully to Setsuna
* Seraphna shakes a little, staring, "Who are these? Who is this person?"
* Setsuna` flops on the sand, well away from John.
* Dias hops up from the beach and runs across the beach, running towards the ship.

<Seraphna> "I don't get it."
<DeathStar> 6* John eyes Disa.
<Seraphna> "You show me some agressive program killing people."

<Kane> I was under the impression that it was video data of said programs memories. Apparently I was mistaken.

* Ariel slowly starts towards the landed ship, and the new arrivals. Her hair disarrayed from sitting by the coast too long.

* Cole rubs the back of his head and glances at Shiva.

* Kane turns now, finally calm. "Sera we can't let you see her. She broke the device before we could bring her back to her senses. She is still brainwashed and she is a major risk.
<DeathStar> <Warren> We have little time to speak. Here. 6He tosses Darien a datapad.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien catches it, glancing down at it. John peers over his shoulder, having snuck over.
<Rylon> 2He seems to narrow his eyes upon Darien comment. Though he seems to hold his tongue on this matter.
<Seraphna> "I can't know this is right unless we do."
<Seraphna> "She won't hurt me, and I'm too damaged for a merging."
<Kane> We can't let you see her. *he says again with a sigh*

* Ariel slips over to take a look as well. This sounds 'not good (tm)'
<Chad`Winters> If she's to ever regain her memory back and get back the life she once had, and for her family. Her mother and father to get her back you need to break the bond.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes all of Warren's complete notes. And complete they are - he stares down at it, then his eyes go to the sky, as if pulled there.
<Seraphna> "I need to do it with her."

* Seraphna looks at Kane.

* Seraphna looks to Chad, "I don't have a past..."

<Ariel> "...I see things have been difficult in other sectors as well. There must be quite the story to tell to explain this one."
<Chad`Winters> Everything she's feeling right now is because of the brainwashing. It's been drilled into her extensively, it's not real.
<Seraphna> "Worse... if I try to rememebr anything before 12... there's ntohing... it's like I was never alive."
* Kane sighs.
<DeathStar> <Warren> ... yes. Whoever pilots the shuttle will more than likely die. 6He notes flatly. Darien runs a hand through his hair, turning to look at Ariel.
<Chad`Winters> You want your memory back? Then trust us.
<Seraphna> "I'm not sure I do..."
<Seraphna> "I'm afraid out?"
<Shiva`> I nominated John since he likes those odds.
<Seraphna> *okay
<Chad`Winters> Like I said we're both here for you. You don't need to be afraid.
<Seraphna> "Will I become yet another person?"
<DeathStar> <John> Me? I couldn't fly this shit.
<Seraphna> "Will I become the person that hurt Kane here?"
<Seraphna> "Will I become this Omega... this killer?"
<Kane> Better to be that person than not knowing at all.
<Chad`Winters> No, you'll become who you really are, Serena Cran, daughter of Alexander Cran.
<Kane> Omega is gone. Dead.
<Seraphna> "Or whatever else I've been..."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lets out his breath. "And with Cran dead, I guess it's up to us to implement this."
<Kane> You aren't seeing Eve. That is final.
<Chad`Winters> Sometimes Serena, you need to take a leap of faith.
<DeathStar> <John> Whoa. The President's DEAD? 6He stares. Warren's eyes widen a notch.
<Seraphna> "I need fiath to take a leap of it..."
<Chad`Winters> Then borrow ours.
* Cole tilts his head, "Who?" He glances at Ry.
<Seraphna> "Can I talk to Mother then...?"
<Kane> I have no objections to that.
* Chad`Winters nods and taps his comm. 1"Ariel, I need you at my location right away."
<Rylon> 2He looks over at Cole. 14"The leader of the planet..basically"
* Dias walks up onto the walkway and peers around
<DeathStar> <Darien> Actually, Chad... 6He grabs his comm. "New idea. Everyone who is on their comms...come to the beach. Now."
<DeathStar> <Darien> We have a situation.
<Cole> Oh...*he pauses* Ohhhhhh.
<Ariel> <Comm> "It's probally best that you come here. I'll find out why."
* Xanatos steps into sight, having been on the beach for most of the time, he slides over to them.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr is there beside Ariel - like a ghost she approaches.
* Chad`Winters eyes Kane then Serena. 1"We're going to see her now."
* Kane pulls up his Comm, "What about Serena?"
<Chad`Winters> She's coming.
<Seraphna> "Alright..."
* Setsuna` just lays on the beach. She's in earshot of the others, so she sees no reason to get up.
<DeathStar> <Darien on Comm> Just get here. Now.
* Chad`Winters opens the door and steps outside.
* Kane frowns and glances at Chad. Waiting to follow behind Sera.
* Cassandra`Arakawa heads to the beach...
* Seraphna follows Chad, "Have you... talked to her since the bonding?"
<Chad`Winters> As much as I could. 6Begins making his way quickly to the others.
<Seraphna> "She seems... lost. It's strange... my bond makes me feel... better, not worse..."
<DeathStar> NRP: <Darien> Okay, we're going to have a campfire, since we're all about to die.
<Chad`Winters> She isn't herself that much I know. And I know it's because of the bond.
<Rylon> 2He nods to Cole, turning his eyes back to the situation.
<DeathStar> 6* Those around Darien start forming a circle.
<Seraphna> "She might... well... when I woke up... my first reaction was to look for my wings... there were instincts there from what I think is my Dragoon form."
<Chad`Winters> It's been four days and her demeanor hasn't changed.
<Chad`Winters> It's not that...
<Seraphna> "Did you rear them?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Okay, I think it's time for a little answer session for everyone here. 6He notes, glancing around at all of the faces.
* Chad`Winters steps out of the base onto the beach.
* Kane steps out with Chad and Sera.
* Chad`Winters makes a beeline towards Ariel.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Here's the situation. V.I. is gone. Clearly, whatever they were planning here is wasn't important. We have no leads on them. And as for all of us, we're barely forming a team right now. 6He begins to speak. Warren notes it must be speech time.
* Shiva` yawns, stretching her arms.
<Chad`Winters> I worked with her how I felt was best.
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... and I'm about to take command of everyone here one more time. Earth can't handle the threat before us, because our government has been hit. President Cran is dead. 6He notes to them.
* Seraphna looks at Ariel admiringly as always, and Zephyr with pure concern
<Seraphna> "President Cran?"
* Chad`Winters steps upto Ariel leaning into her whispering something into her ear. He then pauses, his face going white.
<Xanatos> Wait...what?
* Chad`Winters 's body turns quickly to face Darien. 1"What did you say?"
* Cassandra`Arakawa crosses her arms.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes them all. "He was killed by a V.I. agent. That is all I'm willing to say right now."
* Dias steps off the shuttle and sits on the ramp, digging his feet into the sand.
* Ariel hangs her head, seeming surprisingly saddened by this.
* Chad`Winters pushes into the circle. 1"Which one?!"
<DeathStar> <Warren> I don't suppose we have a body on hand... 6He notes idlely. DArien shakes his head to Warren.
<DeathStar> <Darien> That is unimportant right now, Chad. 6He points out. "Right now we have a more important problem."
* Chad`Winters looks at Warren then at Darien. 1"How do you know he's dead?"
* Cole leans in to Rylon. "Psst. Why does Chad care?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien just continues. "There is a weapon designed by the ancient race the Erusians followed. It is dubbed "Black Angel". This weapon can - and will - destroy this planet in about 2 hours."
<Kane> What?
* Xanatos blinks. "Holy shit."
* Chad`Winters 's fists clench, obviously not focusing on the current problem.
<Seraphna> "Alexander was a President?"
* Xanatos grabs Chad by shoulder and moves to pull him back.
<DeathStar> <Darien> We've been provided with a... deactiation code. However, it would appera we have to be... within range of the vessel to do this. We cannot approach the vessel without being distorted and destroyed.
* Chad`Winters is pulled back but his eyes remain focused on Darien.
<Kane> How do we do that?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Warren has deviced a means of reaching Black Angel. A single shuttle, with the deactivation code, will jump into hyperspace and come out right in front of it, sending the code.
* Seraphna fidgets, "So... my father is dead...?" *a bit slow, perhaps still a bit lost*
<Xanatos> Who the hell would be good enough to do that?
* Ariel looks to Seraphna, "...do you remember him?"
<Seraphna> "No... I just know who he is now thanks to ...Chad here."
<DeathStar> <Darien> However, by my quick calculations.... 6He notes solomnly. "Whoever does the piloting will still die. There's no way to cut speed in time before hitting the Black Angel. Whoever does this -- isn't coming back."
