<MiniGM> 6After some convincing from Kane, the team has been sent out to search for the missing Serena Cran. They team stands outside Kane and Sera's apartment to look for clues.

* Kane is walking about the area, searching for some type of clues.
* Ceilidh is doing similar, toting a magnifying glass
* Xanatos stands back, arms crossed as his eye moves about trying to locate something that could be used as a clue.
<MiniGM> 6From the huge hole in the side of the apartment, and the wrecked furniture, a fight broke out and it wasn't pretty.
* Ceilidh examines the furniture, trying to work out what weapons were used
<Ceilidh> NRP: Candlestick. In the library.
<MiniGM> 6It would appear a flashbang went off at some point in time and by the size of the hole in the wall, a beam cannon of sorts.
* Ceilidh gulps. "Do you think this could be VI's work...?"
<Xanatos> Whatever took her was pretty damn powerful. *he comments after noticing the beam cannon damage.*
<Ceilidh> "That's what I was thinking.."
* Kane shakes his head. "I have no idea..." He brings a hand up to chin to rub it slowly.
* Ceilidh thinks for a moment. "Who was Zephyr fighting, again? Did anyone see?"
<Xanatos> It was Sera. Or at least, someone that looked damn near identical.
<Ceilidh> "But wasn't she on the comm at the time?"
<Setsuna`> "Does that girl go psycho as regularly as it seems?"
<Kane> Yeah...*he says to both Ceil and Setsuna*
<MiniGM> 6A piece of the roof falls down in the middle of the room.
* Ceilidh jumps
* Xanatos moves over to the hole in the wall and steps in, using the scanners in his eye to look for something they could possibly use.
* Ceilidh settles down after a second, and speaks again. "I don't think it was Sera herself.. though.. it's still possible."
* Setsuna` casually eyes the debris
<Ceilidh> "So, if there's a clone running about, and the original is kidnapped, maybe they're trying to replace her?"
<Kane> It wasn't Sera in the park, I was talking to her at the time....and Yes I was just about to propose that.
* Ceilidh smiles. Great minds think alike, apparently
<MiniGM> 6Xanatos would find strands of hair but nothing out of the normal, whoever was in here didn't leave anything behind.
* Kane smiles lightly. "Of course." He glances back down at some debri. "Find anything yet, Xan?"
<MiniGM> 6A thong hangs precariously avoce Setsuna's head.
<MiniGM> NRP: Above
* Xanatos steps back to the hole, placing a hand on the side as he stands there. "Nope, I found some hair, but i'm pretty sure it is Sera's, we could still check if you'd like?"
<Ceilidh> "That sounds good."
* Setsuna` idly goes to check the kitchen, while the others look around
<Kane> Yeah we need to at least check. *he moves in and with the direction of Xanatos, gathers the hair sample.* Damnit, I wish they would've left something for us to at least follow.
<MiniGM> 6The kitchen seems to be in much better shape than the living room.
<Xanatos> Well if we can't find anything else, we should probably head back to HQ.
* Ceilidh gives the room a final run over
* Setsuna` checks the fridge for clues, while listening to the others.
<MiniGM> 6Several pre-made sandwiches taunt Setsuna from within the fridge.
<MiniGM> NRP: She copied that from Slasher in...TAW or was it TGC?
<Ceilidh> NRP: *is the smattest member of the group*
* Setsuna` glares at the sandwiches.
<MiniGM> 6They stare back, looking even tastier
<Kane> Yeah come'on lets go run a check on this hair. *he moves for the van*
<Xanatos> Hey Setsuna, Time to go! *he turns to move for the van*
* Ceilidh turns and heads for the van
* Setsuna` closes the fridge victoriously and head for the van.
<Ceilidh> "Well, at least we found something."
* Xanatos waits till everyone is in the van, then pulls out and heads for the base.
<Kane> But i'm sure it wont reveal anything vital...*he says with a sigh*
<Setsuna`> "What did you get?"
<Xanatos> Just some hair.
<Ceilidh> "I wonder how close the copy is.."
<Kane> Most likely on the cellular level. Someone withdrew all of Sera's funds from her account a while back. Passed the DNA test and everything?
* Xanatos blinks and glances at Kane. "Wow, why didn't you tell us?"
<Kane> Wasn't your problem.
<MiniGM> 6They reach the base
* Xanatos pulls the van to a stop and slides out, moving for the base.
* Kane gets out as well, not too far from Xanatos.
<Ceilidh> "It's our problem now..."
<Kane> Apparently. *he says with a sigh, stepping inside he immediately moves around, looking for Chip*
* Setsuna` steps out, "You'd think that the idea of someone being able to impersonate someone like her would be an issue of global security."
<Ceilidh> "... why is she even in any position of importance, anyway?"
<MiniGM> 6The room where Chip is normally found is empty of him, apparently he went out to eat.
<Kane> She is the ex-presidents daughter.
* Ceilidh sighs. "Figures.."
* Kane frowns seeing Chip is gone, he looks for an attendant of Chips.
* Cassandra`Arakawa walks into Chip's room, taking a look around.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> He actually got out to get some sun?
<MiniGM> 6An associate steps into the room from another door and eyes everyone in the room. 1"Uhh...can I help you all?
<Kane> Can I get you to run a scan on this hair and see who it belongs too? *he extends a vial of hair.
* Xanatos has his arms crossed as he stands off to the side, obviously he is a bit upset at something.
<MiniGM> <Woman> Yeah...I can do that I suppose. 6She grabs it from him and walks out of the room.
<MiniGM> 6Everyone stands in awkward silence
* Kane glances around at the awkward silence. "You guys don't have to stand around here, I can find out what it is, you all can go do something else."
* Xanatos glances at Cass. "Where've you been?"
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Paperwork.
* Xanatos has quit IRC (Ping timeout)
<MiniGM> 6The woman finally comes back holding a printout. She walks over to Kane. 1"Here's the results, I compared them to the DNA we have of Serena Cran and it appears to be her hair. It's 100% identical

<Xanatos> <Kane> "Thank you, It was as I assumed." *He bows his head and turns around to go and find Darien to he can report their findings*
<Setsuna`> "Well, atleast we know who we're looking for now." *rolls her eyes*

<Ceilidh> "Well, if she has a clone, it should have the same DNA."
<Ceilidh> NRP: She said "Paperwork"
<Xanatos> Fun, Fun. Do you know where Darien is?
<MiniGM> 6As Kane searches about, his attempts to locate Darien turn up worthless.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Not a clue.
* Kane stands there in a hall, tapping his hand against his leg, after a moment he pulls up his datapad and sends Darien a message, asking what he should do.
<Setsuna`> "Any ideas how to look for our not so mysterious culprit?"
<Xanatos> I have none, unless we just need to look for Serena in general. *he tells those who are left, Since Kane walked off.*
<Ceilidh> "Not really.."
<MiniGM> 6Minutes pass by and there is no response from Darien.
<Setsuna`> "...so we need a lead. Right."
<Ceilidh> "... where's Darien...?"
* Kane sighs. "Where the hell is everyone?" He says to himself as he stares up at the ceiling.
<MiniGM> 6A man comes running into the room where Cassandra is. 1"Cassandra, we've got a problem.
<Xanatos> No one knows...*he trails off looking at the man*
* Ceilidh watches the man
<MiniGM> <Man> Apparently Organization VI has made a move on the Central Janus Base 5 minutes ago.
<Xanatos> They are attacking it?
<MiniGM> <Man> Uh...yeah, hence what I said. You guys have been called onto active duty.
* Ceilidh nods uncertainly
<Setsuna`> "......"
<Xanatos> We are to assist Janus?
<Setsuna`> "No, we're helping VI." *rolls her eyes*
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Gear up! Xan, prep transport.
<MiniGM> <Man> 6Eyes Xanatos then looks at Setsuna. "Is he always like this?"
<Ceilidh> "I'm not entirely comfortable about all this..."
<Xanatos> Pretty much. *he says for Set as he moves out for the van*
<Setsuna`> "Unfortunately."
* Xanatos pulls up his comm, "Kane we have a mission, come to the van."
* Cassandra`Arakawa moves for the armory.
* Kane glances down at his comm and turns to move toward the van.
* Setsuna` is about to head after Cass, then stops and looks to the man. "What sort of numbers do they have?"
<MiniGM> <Man> From the numbers that we've been gathering, about 6000.
* Setsuna` nods slowly, and hurries to the armoury.
* Xanatos waits in the van, glancing at Kane as he steps in. "Janus is being attacked by V.I."
<Cassandra`Arakawa> What did he say? *zipping up her suit*
* Kane tightens his jaw, "..." But says nothing as he slides into the seat.
* Ceilidh heads for the armoury with Setsuna
<Setsuna`> "Bring guns. Lots of guns."
<Cassandra`Arakawa> I'll bring the big gun then. *gets her stuff and heads out*
* Setsuna` grabs a more managable rocket launcher, and a LR rifle. Figures it'd be enough, with her regular gear.
* Ceilidh picks out a pistol and something with a good rate of fire, and hopes she doesn't need to use them
* Xanatos taps the side of his head with his pistol, he pulls up his comm, "Come'on people we don't have the time to sit around."
* Ceilidh heads for the van, looking worried
* Cassandra`Arakawa climbs into the van.
* Xanatos waits for everyone to get into the van and then pulls out, heading for the Central Janus base.
* Ceilidh climbs into the van, setting the bigger gun beside her
<Setsuna`> "...you know, we need a better form of transportation for a frontal assault."
<Ceilidh> "Does all this seem wrong to anyone else..?"
<MiniGM> 6After some driving they finally reach the main road leading to the Central Janus Base, in the air shuttles can be seen landing and letting guys off. Two shuttles explode from the bases defenses
<Xanatos> Cass, use the big boom gun to take out some of those enemy shuttles. *he says as he moves closer for the base*
<MiniGM> 7 Shuttles can be seen launching an assault on the base from the air.

<Cassandra`Arakawa> Stop then. Firing this thing in a moving vehicle will knock us over.
<Setsuna`> NRP: Does the van have a sunroof?
<MiniGM> NRP: *shrugs*
* Xanatos slides to a stop.
<Xanatos> NRP: *slides the van to a stop*
* Cassandra`Arakawa climbs out of the van and sets up, readying for a shot...
<MiniGM> 6Two shuttles begin flying in a straight line away from Cass towards the base.
* Setsuna` gets the rocket launcher out and lines up a shot. So much easier to use than the big gun.
* Cassandra`Arakawa takes a shot at one of the shuttles.
<Xanatos> We'll continue on, we all need to keep in contact through comms.
<MiniGM> 6Setsuna get's a lock while Cass's gun goes off, ripping into the shuttle causing it to spiral down to the ground in a ball of flames.
* Kane climbs out of the van, holding the rifle that he constantly stores on the van, "I'll provide cover fire."
* Setsuna` fires at the second shuttle, hoping to land a hit before they can botch the shot.
* Kane pulls up his rifle to search out for enemy soldiers to fire on.
<MiniGM> 6The second shuttle tries to barrel roll out of the rockets way but is clippedi n the wing and crashes to the ground.
* Ceilidh readies her own rifle, looking around cautiously
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Rest of you, proceed toward the target zone. We'll take the enemy's air power. Move!
* Xanatos glances back at Ceil. "I don't think we're exactly the best for an assault."
<MiniGM> 6In the midst of the base, VI troops can be seen firing on Janus guards.
<Ceilidh> "Well.. not really."!
* Kane releases shot after shot at VI troops.
* Ceilidh aims, and starts firing
* Xanatos glances at Cass then moves the van on, moving for the base.
<MiniGM> 6 VI troops begin dropping like flies. One of the shuttles finally spots the group and begins to fly towards them, firing off it's lasers towards them.
* Setsuna` starts to reload, speaking idly as she does so, "So... how are those cybernetics working out for you? Any other bugs?"
* Xanatos jumps back as a shuttle fires down, kicking up dust in front of his person, he leaves the shuttle to Cass and Setsuna as he continues firing on VI troops.
<Xanatos> NRP: Kane did that. :S
* Cassandra`Arakawa continues firing at the VI shuttles.
<MiniGM> 6Another shuttle explodes in the air, the one heading for them get's closer, making it's aim far more deadly.
* Setsuna` shoulders the launcher, and waits for a lock before firing the second missile.
<Xanatos> NRP: So I guess Ceil stayed back with her rifle?
<MiniGM> 6Get's a lock right as the shuttle launches two missiles towards Cass,Kane and Setsuna.
* Ceilidh gets out of the van, and hurries towards Xan
<Setsuna`> "Kane! Look up."
* Kane jerks his head up, he fires a shot for the missle on the right. Does he have enough time to shoot the second one down?
<MiniGM> 6The shuttle pulls up as it launches it's pay load towards them.
* Setsuna` gets the hell out of the way of those incomming munitions
* Xanatos has both of his pistols out as he closes in on the base, he picks out VI troops and begins to unload clips toward them.
<MiniGM> 6The missile on the right explodes in mid-air, by the second hits the ground by them in an explosive display of fire and dirt.
* Kane falls back from the explosion, sliding across the ground. He pulls himself up to a knee, glancing around to see if everyone is ok.
* Ceilidh follows Xan, firing the occasional shot at VI troops when she gets a chance
* Setsuna` coughs as she pulls herself back to her knees. She starts loading another shot, without thinking about her condition.
<MiniGM> 6The VI troops begin to thin as Team Darien and the Janus guards fight back.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Everyone alright?!
<MiniGM> 6The shuttle begins to loop around, heading back for the three.
* Setsuna` aims the third shot, and fires at the offending shuttle.
<MiniGM> 6The shuttle explodes.
<Kane> I'm fine. *he says as he pulls himself up to his feet, and pulls up his rifle, searching out troops to take down*
<MiniGM> 6The VI troops begin retreating on the few remaining shuttles.
* Setsuna` slowly pulls herself to her feet. She loads her last shot, and starts slowly towards the base
* Ceilidh takes deep breaths
<Cassandra`Arakawa> *comm* The terrorists are in retreat.
* Xanatos slides to a stop, watching the closest shuttle pull up and retreat. Comm: Orders?
<Setsuna`> "...this seems too simple."
<Ceilidh> *comm* "Should I check inside?"
* Kane moves after Cass and Set, providing cover.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> *comm* I don't like this. This may have been a diversion of some sort.
<Setsuna`> *Comm* Big diversion, but you may be right.
<Xanatos> Comm: Maybe you should make a call to to base and make sure it is alright
<Ceilidh> *comm* "That sounds good.."
<Kane> <Comm>I'm going to look for Chad. *He moves off for the building*
<Ceilidh> *comm* "Should I come with you?"
<Cassandra`Arakawa> *comm* Stick to pairs.
<Kane> <Comm> You heard her.
* Kane steps past Ceil, smirking at her as he heads into the building.
* Xanatos stands there alone, his eyes moves around to look for any remaining threats.
* Ceilidh looks to Xan. "So.. do we head back then?"
* Xanatos glances at Ceil. "Wasn't you going in with Kane?"
<Ceilidh> "Fair enough."
* Ceilidh heads in after Kane, then
* Xanatos turns to move over with Cass and Setsuna. "You should probably get in touch with base and report our status." He tells Cass.
* Setsuna` looks to Cass, "Are we demoted to reserve?" She looks towards the base
* Kane moves about the base, searching for someone that can direct him to Chad.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> *comm* Anything yet, you two? *holds up a hand to Xan and Setsuna.
<Ceilidh> *comm* "Not yet, still looking."
<MiniGM> <Chad> 6Is eventually found talking to two soldiers.
* Kane slides up. "Chad." He nods to him and waits for him to finish talking to the soldiers.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> *comm* Roger.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> *Comm* Field to base.
<MiniGM> 6The two soldiers quickly run off. Chad turns around to face Kane. 1"I see you got the message to come.
* Kane nods, "Yeah, as far as we can tell they retreated, but is there anything else for us?"
* Ceilidh follows Kane over
<MiniGM> <Chad> No, Janus can handle the clean-up and what's left.
<Kane> Sorry we didn't get here sooner, we hope that our help minimized your death count. *he hesitates for a moment* You heard anything on Serena or her look-alike?
<MiniGM> <Chad> So you know about her then huh...
* Ceilidh nods, noting the reaction
<Kane> I've probably known about her longer than you. *he notes, glancing up at the ceiling*
<Ceilidh> "How much do you know about her?"
<MiniGM> <Chad> Enough to know she's a threat and will be dealt with accordingly.
<Kane> I want to help as much as possible. You know how to reach me.
<MiniGM> <Chad> If I feel there's a need for your abiltities I'll give you a call.
<Kane> Thanks Chad. I'll be seeing you around then. *he nods to Ceil and turns to leave*
<MiniGM> <Chad> One thing Kane. I need to see Zephyr and the only way is to have the location of your base.
* Ceilidh pauses, then turns to leave also
<Ceilidh> "... is there a problem?"
<MiniGM> <Chad> I'm worried about her condition.
* Kane comes to a stop, glancing back at Chad. "I'll tell Darien. He can get in touch with you to let you know where it is."
<MiniGM> <Chad> Darien huh...6He scoffs. You know as well as I do that he won't part with that information.
* Ceilidh just starts out
<Kane> And you know that i'll lose my job if I do.
<MiniGM> <Chad> Fair enough.
<Kane> I'll let you know how she is doing. Don't worry. *he nods to Chad then turns to leave*
<MiniGM> <Chad> 6Moves off to a room, obviously getting back to work*
* Xanatos stands there beside the van, looking up to Kane as he steps outside.
* Ceilidh walks to the van and Xanatos
<Kane> Chad said our part of the job is finished. *he tells the team*
<Xanatos> Good. Let's go home. *he moves to get in the van and only after everyone gets in, he pulls out to move back for base*
<Ceilidh> "What if VI were trying to get something out of, or in to the base... and they left because they succeeded?"
<Ceilidh> "... I'm probably just being paranoid."
* Setsuna` waits for the others, not wanting to walk back from here.
<Kane> Then that is Janus' problem. *He tells Ceil*
* Ceilidh climbs into the van
<Ceilidh> "That's comforting."
<Xanatos> He's our bright little ray of sunshine.
<MiniGM> 6The team make it back to the base without any problems at all.
* Xanatos steps out of the van and moves into the base.
* Kane follows closely behind Xan.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stands in his glass office, speaking with Chad. The glass prevents any sound from escaping, though his lips can be seen
<DeathStar> ER, Chip
* Xanatos glances at Darien, waiting on him to finish so they can report on their mission.
* Kane curiously tries to figure out what Darien is talking about.
* Ceilidh tries to read Darien's lips, though without much skill
<MiniGM> 6Kane catches the word Erevis, or was it stephen.
* Kane scratches his head, tilting his head. He glances at Xan.
<Ceilidh> "... did anyone catch any of that?"
* Kane is silent, deciding it is best to be quiet for a little bit.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps out of the office after seeing the group. "Good work."
<Ceilidh> "Thankyou."
* Xanatos glances at Darien. "I'm glad they weren't trying to lure us away so they could bomb our base."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien points behind them. "I meant THAT."
<Kane> Oh, Chad wants to visit Zephyr, he is worried about her...I told him i'd talk to you.
* Xanatos turns to look behind him.
<MiniGM> <Chad> 6Is standing there, his arms crossed.
* Kane trails off to look behind himself as well.
* Kane frowns.
* Xanatos slides his hand to his pistol. "Uhhh..."
<MiniGM> <Chad> Such a lovely base you guys have.
<Kane> What the hell Chad!?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien's clearly annoyed.
<Ceilidh> "Trailing us... sneaky."
<MiniGM> <Chad> I'm an impatient man. Where's Zephyr?
* Xanatos glances at Darien. "What should we do?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien motions to everyone. "Go on home. I'd like to see Chad alone for a moment."
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Alright everyone. We're set for R&R.
* Xanatos arches a brow. "Ok.." He shakes his head and moves to leave.
* Kane lingers for a moment. "...You sure you want us to leave, sir?"
* Ceilidh starts away herself
<Setsuna`> "Someone should buy drinks after today."
<DeathStar> * Darien puts a hand in his black coat, standing there as he eyes Chad.
* Ceilidh looks to Setsuna.
* Kane turns to leave.
<MiniGM> <Chad> 6Locks his eyes onto Darien's, his face expresionless
* Xanatos has quit IRC (Quit: )
* Kane has quit IRC (Quit: )
<DeathStar> <Darien> You're playing a dangerous game, Winters.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Much like your father.
<MiniGM> <Chad> Sometimes we need to play those games to find out what we want.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well put.
<MiniGM> <Chad> How is Zephyr doing?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Alive. Barely. And I personally put blame in your Janus camp.
<MiniGM> <Chad> Really? Aren't willing to take responsibility for your own actions? You wanted her on the team and by doing so, you put her in that situation.
<DeathStar> <Darien> She put herself on this team. The danger came when JAnus did not warn her that there was a duplicate running around. I checked. Janus knew about the other Sera taking funds from Serena.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien walks forward, pulling back his lips in anger. "And I will not forget this Chad. So, go see Zephyr, ease your conscious, then run back to your scientist harlot." 6He turns and walks around Chad, leaving.
<MiniGM> <Chad> We knew that was a possibility but we weren't sure of it.
<MiniGM> <Chad> Oh and if you ever call Eve a harlot again, I'll personally make it my goal that you eat through a straw.
<DeathStar> <Darien> You hurt Zephyr and I'll just kill you.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien closes the door.
<MiniGM> <Chad> Hurt her like you almost did when you let her pilot that shuttle towards the Black Angel...
<MiniGM> <Chad> 6Turns walking off towards Zephyr's location.

* Seraphna looks about, stretching a little, the repair always tightens her up a little, "Anyone?"

<DeathStar> 6* Spade turns to look at Sera. "Really. You certainly do not act like a Cran."
<Seraphna> "What makes a Cran a Cran?"
<DeathStar> <Spade> That question in itself lends weight to my argument. You have lost your way. You are adrift with no purpose. You are not fulfilling your destiny.
* Seraphna looks down at the floor, sighig deeply, "I have been drifting..."
<DeathStar> 6* Spade vanishes, appearing behind Sera. "Yes. You passively let the world change around you and do nothing to change it. You are content with playing the role of being submissive. Others' pawns. You say you want your own control and destiny, yet you depend on others."
* Seraphna nods softly, "A flaw, really, that I was created a creature that needs a pilot... perhaps... I've for too long let the piklot be in charge?"
<DeathStar> <Spade> 'A creature that needs a pilot'. 6He shakes his head. "Did your 'fake' need a pilot to beat YOU?"
<Seraphna> "...No..."
<DeathStar> <Spade> You complained that you were not ready to meet your destiny. That your being a Dragoon caused you to fall back on an alter ego. 6He walks around her. "This 'Omega' personality. But in the end, you were just hiding. You denied your power and gave it over to something else. When will YOU take an active role in yor OWN destiny? Your OWN power?"
<Seraphna> "Why do I need power? Why am I supposed to fullfill this destiny?"
<DeathStar> 6* Spade stops walking, turning to look at Sera. "Power. Destiny. We all have one. We all shape what we want the world to be around us. Except you. Men like Darien Starr are going to change this world because they are willing to sacrifice everything for power. He uses his team to fulfill his goals to shape the world around him. Your father was the same way."
<Seraphna> "What is your destiny then?"
<DeathStar> <Spade> I've been living it for the past 11 years. Yet it would I appear I've failed. Here you are - no closer to shaping this world then you were when PAX first began.
<Seraphna> "If you don't count destroying PAX, stopping the Dragoon incident, and killing my father as any sort of change..." *she says almsot sarcastically, threee events she's not proud of*
<DeathStar> <Spade> I do not. PAX ended without any aid by you. The Dragoon incident was merely postponed. And killing your father? 6He shakes his head. "You have not once set about setting your own agendas. Your brother is further along than you are in his development. Here you are: When will you take charge? Use the resources and people around you? You live with a man who claims to not love you. Why? Safety?
<Seraphna> "Ultimately... I reach one problem... to what purpose? What end?"
<DeathStar> 6* Spade shakes his head, not responding.
<Seraphna> "Self gain? I can do that without using a person."
<DeathStar> <Spade> Self gain. 6He shakes his head. "What have you done lately about anything? Your father's death at V.I.? V.I. itself? You have done nothing. You have sought nothing. You do nothing. You involve yourself in nothing. You change nothing. Tell me: What does a person amount to when they do not better this world?
<Seraphna> "Nothing... I... I want..."
* Seraphna looks down, clenching her fists
<DeathStar> 6* Spade stares at her.
<Seraphna> "I want VI destroyed... I want that bastard Adam dead... I want a pilot who respects me... I want my father's admisitration set right... and..."
<Seraphna> "I want the other dragoons to recognise my existance..."
<DeathStar> <Spade> And how will you do this?
<Seraphna> "Well for one... I need to put that iomposter in her place... or her grave..."

<DeathStar> 6* Spade shakes his head. "She beat you without using a dragoon form. What you need - is to make yourself stronger. You. The human."

<DeathStar> 6* Spade turns to face Seraphna. "Because she wanted to beat you. She had the fire. The desire. She wanted your spot. She's ready to change the world around her.
<Seraphna> "She doesn't deserve too with that weakness... it's worse then my own..."

<Seraphna> "Maybe her lust for power, but she is still weak... she's incapable fo being an indigual, she needs to steal another's life."

<DeathStar> 6* Spade turns away from Sera. "I disagree. She's putting you out of your misery."
* Seraphna growls a little, clenching her fists more, "Bullshit."
<DeathStar> <Spade> Really? 6He turns toward Sera. "You disagree?"
<Seraphna> "It's my life, she can't have it..."
<DeathStar> <Spade> Oh?
<Seraphna> "Yeah."
<DeathStar> <Spade> Then let us see your resolve, Serena Cran.
<Seraphna> "I'm going to kill her, then I'm going to revive the name of Cran."
<DeathStar> 6* Spade forms two weapons - one gun, one sword. "If you want to escape this world, you must defeat me. You must show me the real power you have inside you."
* Seraphna closes her eyes and forms an odd gauntlet on her hand, looking similar to her dragoon hand, and a gun in the other. "Fine. I'm not even letting you get in my way William..."
<DeathStar> <Spade> I would expect nothing less from a Cran.
* Seraphna moves, llightinign fast, like she once did when she first fought McCormick, firing at William's side.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade swings the sword, knocking the attack aside as he fires at Sera's head.
* Seraphna brings up the gauntlet, deflecting the shot as she fires at the same time. Eyes focused.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade steps back, his white trench coat blowing in an invisible wind.
* Seraphna fades out, reappearing behidn Spade, taking a swing at his head.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade vanishes himself, reppearing face to face with Sera. There's a note of approval. She's gotten the hang of a battle in one's mind.
* Seraphna bashes her head at his fiercely, vanishing as she does to appears in teh air, firing at his location
<DeathStar> 6* Spade tilts back to avoid the attack, only to be shot in the shoulder by her second attack. Blood gushes down, staining his white coat.
* Seraphna fades again to appear just below him, sweeping a kick at his feet.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade leaps up, flipping to fire his gun down at her.
* Seraphna rolls away, firing as she does up at him, fading, after she reappears, creating an illusion, firing from three palces above him
<DeathStar> 6* Spade rears back as the shot flies up past him. He spins, knocking the attacks aside with his gun. He creates ten of himself.
* Seraphna fades, they were all images
<DeathStar> 6* The ten Spades form a circle.
<Seraphna> *things go silent... did she give up...?
<DeathStar> 6* All the Spades stand there, all of them showing no hint of confusion or concern.
* Seraphna finishes charging the gun, it makes it's first sound as it fires from above, a large, modified rail gun right into thier midst
<DeathStar> 6* Several Spades leap in the way, taking the shot and being erradicated. One Spade appears behind Sera, firing at her back.
* Seraphna appears to take the hit, then bursts into shards of glass, as she comes dropping down on top of him from above, fist slamming down
<DeathStar> 6* Spade vanishes into a puff of smoke. Another Spade flips down from above her, his sword swinging down.
* Seraphna catches the weapon with her gauntlet, licking up straight into his chin
<DeathStar> 6* Spade's chin snaps backwards.

* Seraphna grabs him by the back of his neck in her leg and grabs his leg at the same time, dropping in a suplex move.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade hits the gun, pressing his gun against her stomach and firing.

* Seraphna slips it far enough away in time to only suffer a bad clipping, she rolls away and groans, kneeling, as she focuses, mending the wound. "My mind damnit, MY RULES."
<DeathStar> 6* Spade stands up, facing her. "Then show me your game."
* Seraphna stands tall and gets into a stance, HIS style's stance, beckonign him to come.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade fires the gun a ther.
* Seraphna fades a little, it passes through her. "No. You face me on my terms."

* Seraphna beckons him again, "Come."
<DeathStar> 6* Spade appears before Sera, throwing a punch at her.
* Seraphna catches it in her fist as if plucking a flower from grass, her own fist slamming into his face with surprising speed.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade snaps back, wiping at the blood from his nose.
<Seraphna> me starts to squeeze his hand like a vice, cracking bones.

* Seraphna vanishes, kicking into his back from behind.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade is kicked, spinning around to throw a kick back.
* Seraphna catches his leg and jams her knee into it, pushing him away.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade takes deep breaths, either unable to heal himself anymore, or not doing it
<Seraphna> "Kneel. You're still useful."

<Seraphna> "Because I am your Lady Cran."

* Seraphna seems to flicker, moving so uickly as she kicks the back of his knee, and moves back to position faster then light.

* Seraphna sits up slowly, looking around
<DeathStar> 6* Spade sits in a chair, opening his eyes.
<Seraphna> "It's... good to be back."
<DeathStar> <Spade> Let me get you some tea. 6He stands up, moving to the kitchen
* Seraphna sits in bed, taking stock of herself, musing quietly
<DeathStar> 6* Seraphna's been put in better clothing since her fight with Zeraphna
* Seraphna waits for him
<DeathStar> 6* Spade returns, setting down a cup of tea.
* Seraphna beckons him to sit with her
<DeathStar> 6* Spade sits down, taking a cup of his own tea. "I am proud of you."
* Seraphna smiles and leans up, kissing his cheek, "Thanks."
<DeathStar> 6* Spade sips his tea. "How do you feel?"

* Seraphna puts her hadn over his tea, setting it down, moving into his lap, and kissing him boldly. "That answer it?"
<DeathStar> 6* Spade returns the kiss, wrapping his hands around toward her back to pull her into the kiss.
* Seraphna closes her eyes, melting into it, returning her desire tenfold, "I did make another mistake, letting you go."
<DeathStar> <Spade> But mistakes are made so we can learn, and so we can learn to fix things.
<Seraphna> "I want a strong pilot. You're it." *she grins softly, not having given it up as an optional matter*
<DeathStar> <Spade> Of course.
<Seraphna> "Now... to get back on track..." *she leans up and kisses him again*
<DeathStar> 6* Spade returns the kiss, reaching up to remove her shirt, only breaking the kiss along enough to get it up over her head.
* Seraphna lets him, working on his shirt, eyes closed, enjoying her little victory.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade lays her back on the bed as the kiss, apparantly encouraging her behavior.
* Seraphna stops him, putting a finger to his lips for a moment, smiling, "Just so you understand, you have me however you want in bed, but outside it, I'm the Cran, you're my trusted hand."
<DeathStar> <Spade> I am at your service.
* Seraphna grins then takes him by teh back of the head and pulls him back down with her
<DeathStar> * Spade pushes the tea aside as he uses one hand to pull down her pants, having picked loose khakis for her.
* Seraphna giggles, helping him out.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade leans over her, running his hand along her body, not having touched her for so long.
* Seraphna smiles, exploring his body, biting her lower lip a little cutely, looking up into his eyes, clearly having missed it jsut as much
<DeathStar> 6* Spade leans over to kiss her, pulling her up into his embrace again, letting their bodies rediscover each other after all this time
* Seraphna leans up into the kiss, smiling against his lips, "You know... keep this up and you just might get to share in the glory."
<DeathStar> <Spade> Mm. And what kind of glory do you plan to get? 
* Seraphna giggles softly, almost innocently, "I told you, I'm going to revive the name Cran into glory."
<DeathStar> * Spade nods, understanding, bringing his lips to her neck
