<DeathStar> 6* Adam sits down on the edge of a table, motioning at her nude body. "So, what's the whole beef with the body. 'Original body blown' 'I've been dead once already'. I mean, really. Do you have issues with this new body? Is that why you're so intent on making it the perfect body?

<DeathStar> 6* Adam sighs, closing his eyes and rubbing his hands together. He paces back and forth, almost erratically. "Oh, Cassie, Cassie."

<MiniGM> 6It's cloudy April morning as the team tries to pull itself together at their house.
* Seraphna sits in the living room, reading once again, seemingly completely recovered.
* Xanatos is currently sitting on the couch, head leaned back on the wall, staring up at the ceiling.
* Ceilidh watches Seraphna, trying to determine what she's reading
<Seraphna> *The title appears to be in Chinese.
<Ceilidh> "What is that, anyway?"
<Seraphna> "An old book, the Art of War by SunTzu."
* Xanatos glances at Sera. "Good read."
* Setsuna` is sitting on the rooof, having been antisocial since the previous mission.
<Ceilidh> "I think I've read that one."
<Seraphna> "Indeed, I prefer the original text. It was one of Father's favorites..." *she turns the page*
<MiniGM> 6It's appears likes it's going to be a rather boring day.
* Xanatos glances over at Sera again. "How is Chris?"
<Seraphna> "I'm not sure. He wasn't well when I last checked."
* Xanatos nods and stands. "So how come we are here and not at the base helping Darien and Zephyr?"
<Seraphna> "Got me."
* Ceilidh sighs
* Xanatos moves to step outside, pulling up his comm, he pages Darien and waits for a response.
* Seraphna turns another page
<MiniGM> 6There's no response on the other end.
* Xanatos sighs and looks up at the sky. "Jesus...."
<Ceilidh> "... what is it?"
* Xanatos pokes his head back inside the house, "I'm going on down to HQ, you all are welcome to come."
* Seraphna gets up and grabs her coat, "I'll keep you company."
* Xanatos looks to Ceil. "You staying or not?"
* Ceilidh stands up. "I'll come."
* Xanatos nods and moves out towards the van, he stops and looks up at the roof. "Hey Setsuna! Come'on, we're going down to HQ."
* Seraphna gets walks out, fixing her coat, looking about
* Ceilidh follows, watching Seraphna still
* Seraphna looks over at Ceil, "Are you okay? You seem fascinated or at least interested in something."
* Xanatos sighs and gets in the van, starting it up. He waits for Sera and Ceil to get inside before he pulls out and moves out for HQ.
* Seraphna takes shotgun, yawning a little
* Setsuna` manages to be in the back of the van before Xan drives off... still seeming to be sulking.
<Seraphna> "Has Darien said anything about Cassandra's disappearance?"
* Ceilidh gets in quietly
<Ceilidh> "Has Darien said anything?"
* Xanatos just shrugs, turning a corner.
<Seraphna> "Guess not then... a pity..."
<Ceilidh> "Why do you ask?"
<Seraphna> "There's a strange lack of concern for your teammates."
<Xanatos> By the way, who the hell was shouting last night. *he says as he rounds another corner, moving closer for HQ*
<Seraphna> "A visitor."
<Ceilidh> "I don't even know what's going on."
* Xanatos glances at Sera. "For you?"
<Seraphna> "A gardener with a keen interest in planting new seeds."
* Xanatos moves around another corner, almost to HQ, "So how is Chad, anyway?" He says after making the turn into the parking garage for GQ.

<MiniGM> 6The HQ is still a mess from the battle yesterday, a stark reminder of how serious VI is.
* Seraphna smiles softly, "Angry as ever."
* Xanatos pulls the van to a stop, he looks over at Sera, "With just reason." He comments before getting outside the van, moving into the HQ.
<MiniGM> 6As the enter inside, the can see various repair crew and personnel working in a rushed pace to try and repair the damages done.
* Seraphna casually gets out of the Van, sighing at the rubble, "Management is a little slow..."
* Xanatos looks around, moving for Darien's office.
* Setsuna` trails behind, just being grumpy.
<Ceilidh> "... well..."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sits in front of monitors, most of them broken, some working. Zephyr's with him. He seems to be watching video feeds of streets.
<Xanatos> You found Cassie yet? *he asks as he slides up behind them*
<Ceilidh> "... it takes a while to rebuild..."
* Seraphna takes out her datapad, using her newfound access to see what Darien's done about getting this place put back together.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Of course. That's why I'm busy saving her, dumbass.
<Xanatos> Talk about being pissy. *he says with a sigh, looking down at the video feeds*
<Ceilidh> "... anything I can do to help?"
* Ceilidh instantly watches the feeds
<Setsuna`> "...you will let us know if you do." *not a question*
<DeathStar> <Darien> Pissy? PISSY? 6He turns around to face him. "Why don't you just go get hit by a car? That'll help my mood fabulously.
* Xanatos stares at him. "How can we help Darien?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien ignores him, going back to the feeds. "There's nothing you guys can do right now. I'm busy investigating."
* Setsuna` closes her eyes, "...if I get my hands on who gave us away to VI."
* Seraphna sighs and goes beyond his efforts, seeing he only did the really nessecary to order repairs.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien clicks feed, rubbing his face as he eyes traffic cameras and monitors.
* Xanatos crosses his arms, taking a step back, waiting.
<MiniGM> 6As Serena attempts to do so, she'd discover that there is really nothing more that can be done that Darien hasn't already done.
<Seraphna> "Hmmm... well he is a good little soldier..." *she puts it away and looks up at the sky, thinking*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rubs his stubble, obviously having been up all night.
<Xanatos> So..*he glances around at everyone else* What exactly to we know about Cassie's abduction? It's pretty clear that V.I. took her, right?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien switches to another camera, fast forwarding through the feed. Zephyr's doing the same with her monitors.
* Seraphna pulls out her datapad, sending off a message.
* Setsuna` eyes Sera
* Ceilidh is too busy watching the feed
* Xanatos sighs at the fact that everyone is ignoring him. "Listen...we need to try out damnest to figure out where the hell they took her, and standing around here isn't going to change the fact. Anyone know anyhting or can think of anything?
* Seraphna walks over to a certain spot, looking at the ground.
<DeathStar> <Darien> We're ignoring you because you couldn't find your own ass 6He notes, stopping the feed on Adam materializing on a street and dumping Cassandra into the van
<Seraphna> "Standard too... I guess they did the best they could..."
<Xanatos> I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to the rest of the team. Since you and Zephyr are busy, I figured maybe we could try to figure out something."
* Ceilidh tries to figure out where that is
<DeathStar> <Darien> Do the rest of the team and be quiet. 6He orders, glancing at the map.
<DeathStar> (a favor)
<DeathStar> 6* He begins to activate the cameras on the road with the van, following it's movements.
<Xanatos> Fuck you Darien. I'm worried about her, it's killing me just standing around. I want to find her and help her, and doing anything is better than being quiet."
<DeathStar> <Darien> And I said SHUT UP. IF you want to talk, leave this room while I work or I'll fucking FIRE YOU. Talking isn't going to do anything right now.
* Seraphna heads in and follows the screaming.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rubs his forehead, following the van to a private shuttle port via the cameras.
* Setsuna` watches Darien's feed, just in case he'd miss something
* Ceilidh is doing the same
* Xanatos just shakes his head, turning to step into another room.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves to the satelite feeds after he finds the time the shuttle launched. He begins to go through their timestamps.
* Seraphna leans against a broken console, watching.
<DeathStar> <Darien> There. 6He mutters, not even feeling a victory. He pulls up the shuttle on the satelite feeds, fastforwarding
<DeathStar> 6* Darien closes his eyes as the shuttle flies out of the camera feed of the satelite. "Fuck."
<Seraphna> "Can you get projected locations based on route and fuel?"
* Ceilidh pulls out her datapad, and attempts to triangulate the direction of departure
<Ceilidh> "Already working on it.."
<DeathStar> <Darien> No. No idea how much fuel they had nor if they continued in their line of direction. 6He begins to go through the various satelites that might have covered the area.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Christ. 6He rubs his face. "A Janus satelite was in the area, but we don't have access."
<Seraphna> "...Is that the only problem?"
* Xanatos stands outside, tapping the side of his leg with his hand, he closes his eyes then opens his eyes quickly, pulling up his datapad he begins to type on it quietly.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Currently.
<Seraphna> "Let me make a call."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances at Sera, then nods once.
* Seraphna steps out of the room and sends a message out to Spade, initiating a call.
* Setsuna` leans over to Darien, and whispers something.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sits there while Seraphna is out of the room, his head tilted.
* Seraphna steps back in and smiles, "You should have the access shortly."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Thank you, Serena.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances back down, then brings up the satelite feed as it's patched through to him. He follows the path as it lands somewhere in South East Asia. He zooms in, finding the location to about 200 miles.
* Seraphna smiles and looks at Setsuna, "Is something wrong? Your eyes appear to be crossing."
<DeathStar> <Darien> And there's Cassandra. 6He says finally, eyeing the 200 mile of area - it's very mountainous
<Setsuna`> "...I have a grudge."
<Seraphna> "You shouldn't let such things dwell, one tends to trick themselves into believing the wrong things when they do."
* Seraphna fixes her coat a bit and puts away her datapad.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stands up finally. "We're going to go find our missing member." 6He turns and steps out, eyeing Xanatos as he moves for the hanger. Zephyr hops up, following.
* Xanatos says nothing, moving after Zephyr.
* Ceilidh nods, and follows Zephyr
* Setsuna` moves practically in pace with Darien, ready to move even before he spoke.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien reaches one of the remaining shuttles, then hurries up the ramp, taking the pilot seat. He begins to flick switches to power it up. Zephyr takes a seat as well.
* Xanatos sits down in the back, rotating his right arm, since it was shot just the day before.
* Seraphna gets aboard and takes a seat, smiling to Zephyr, "Gotten any rest sis?"
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> ... I'll be okay. 6She says lifelessly, glancing out the window.
* Seraphna moves to sit next to her and hugs her quietly.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien powers up the shuttle, flying them out. He closes his eyes as he flies.
* Xanatos closes his eyes, rubbing his temples gently.
<MiniGM> 6The shuttle reaches it's peak and begins to descen back down towards the planet, taking the fastest route to their location.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien finally opens his eyes again. Their blood shot red. He reaches over and activates a scanner.
* Seraphna looks up, "Darien, it's very likely they relocated after landing. This could be a trap."
<DeathStar> <Darien> I've considered that already.
<Seraphna> "Great minds think alike then. Got a plan of entry sir?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> I will soon. 6He notes, eyeing the scanners.
<Ceilidh> "We don't know where they went, if they did..."
<MiniGM> 6The scanners run, then suddenly pick something up in the side of one mountains.
<DeathStar> <Darien> There. 6He says finally, eyeing the scanner.
* Xanatos slides his hands into his pockets and quietly adjusts his guns while he is waiting for the landing.
<DeathStar> 6* He puts the shuttle in hover mode, then glances at everyone. "We have no proof Cassandra is here, but I'm going to find out."
<Setsuna`> "...not going to argue at this point."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Good. Xanatos, take the controls.
<Seraphna> "She's cybernetic, does she have any form of internal tracking?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves over to a crate, opening it up and pulling out a bomb. He begins to activate it. "I can't get a signal."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr moves over with Darien, grabbing several parachutes and passing them out to everyone.
<Xanatos> Wait, I want to go in with you..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> And I told you to take the controls. 6He repeats.
* Xanatos stands and moves over to the controls. A frown on his face.
* Seraphna takes one, getting it on, "Alright then."
* Ceilidh takes one and puts it on. "Well, I know what's next."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Alright, here's the plan. I'm going to teleport this bomb down using one of Chip's teleporting chips he was designing, and detonate the bomb in the base on the upper area, while we parachute down. Xanatos, you're our escape route. Wait for us to radio you.

<DeathStar> 6* Darien pulls on the chute, opening the shuttle ramp, feeling the wind howling. "Zephyr, activate the teleporter when we're near the base."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods to everyone, then dives out.
* Ceilidh jumps out after
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr kneels there, hand on the bomb. She has her eyes closed.
* Seraphna looks over Zephyr, calmly saying, "Follow on the plan."
<MiniGM> 6The shuttle begins flying closer towards it's target.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Hurry. Your delaying the time.
* Seraphna leaps out after the other two.
* Xanatos holds the controls, upset that he is being left out.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr motions to Setsuna next.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien begins to get closer to the base, tucking his body for speed.
* Setsuna` jumps
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr times their decent in her head, remaining on the shuttle to send the bomb.

<DeathStar> * Zephyr hits the button and teleports the bomb. The top of the base explodes as Darien activates his chute, vanishing into the smoke.

<DeathStar> 6* Darien lands in the middle of the exposed base, glancing around.
<MiniGM> 6Gun fire begins to erupt from guard posts towards Darien as the Smoke begins to fall down.
* Seraphna lands nearby him, weapon out, activating her glove.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien navigates himself down a hallway, getting out of the way of the guard post range.
* Seraphna moves with him.
<MiniGM> 6Now the shots begin rain down on Sera as she moves after Darien.
<MiniGM> 6As the two enter the base, the alarms can be heard going off, alerting the entire base.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr pulls out a rail gun and fires at the guard posts from the shuttle.
* Ceilidh enters after Sera
<MiniGM> 6Shots begin to fill the sky towards the shuttle.
* Setsuna` activates her chute at the last moment, not about to break her legs
* Xanatos keeps the shuttle moving around the base, his eyes locked onto the sensors.
* Ceilidh did, of course, activate her chute
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves along the hallways, ignoring the alarms.
<Xanatos> NRP: AH piss.
* Xanatos attempts to manuever the shuttle out of range of enemy fire, but keeping the base in view.
* Seraphna moves with him, keeping alert
<MiniGM> 6Shots begins raining down towards Ceilidh and Setsuna now.
* Ceilidh dives behind cover as she moves into the base
<MiniGM> 6Two passageways open in the side of the mountain and two shuttles launch out of them and head towards Xanatos.
* Setsuna` cuts her shoot when she feels she's close enough to the ground, not liking being attached to a bullseye
<DeathStar> 6* Darien runs his hand along the wall, looking for a security room.
<MiniGM> 6Several troops pop out of a hallway and begin firing on Darien and Serena.
<Xanatos> Zephyr, I need to close the ramp to deal with these shuttles. *he informs hers, glancing at the sensors to see how far away they are.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien jerks himself down to the floor to avoid the fire, glancing for a doorway.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Should I remain, or jump
* Seraphna fires at one as he pops out, jerking tot he side, prodiving them some cover from the better shots.
<Xanatos> Your decision. But make it quick.
* Ceilidh cuts loose of the parachute, moving inside
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr shrugs, jumping out.
* Setsuna` gets out of sight of those who shot at her previously, and tries to catch up with Darien
* Xanatos closes the ramp and boosts up the speed, turning around to face the shuttles, he zooms in for them activating shields. he fires at the one on the right.
<MiniGM> 6One goes down the others take up position and continue firing on Sera and Darien.
<MiniGM> 6The one shuttle rolls out of the line of fire and both begin firing upon them
<MiniGM> 6There's a doorway about 40 meters down the hall on the right side.
* Seraphna doesn't stop firing, using thier pause in positioning to shoot through thier defenses, moving for the door.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien reaches into his clothing and grabs a grenade. Activating it, he throws it down at their feet.
* Ceilidh keeps moving towards the doorway, staying in cover as much as possible
* Xanatos spins the shuttle then jerks it upwards, pressing a button and dropping out two rounds objects behind the shuttle.
<DeathStar> 6* He then dashes forward.
<MiniGM> 6The grenade explodes, sending the majority of them to their demise. Behind them several troops file in begin firing at the two's back side.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rushes forward, shots passing through his coat. He hopes Setsuna can deal with those behind him.
<MiniGM> 6The two shuttles veer off to the side spreading the gap between them as the objects drop.
* Setsuna` moves up behind the other soldiers with her knife. A few quick slashes to vital areas. She's not happy.
* Xanatos spins the shuttle, he looks up at the base, then plummets down toward the shuttle on the right, firing at the shuttle on the right.
* Seraphna moves with Darien, her gauntlet taking two shots, getitng a slight clip in teh sleeve as she moves.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien keeps rushing forward, glancing for rooms labeled Security.
<MiniGM> 6The soldiers go down in a bloody mess, slumping onto the floor.
<MiniGM> 6The shuttle barrelrolls above the trees, the other one drops in behind Xan and begins to try and lock on.
* Xanatos smirks and slams the brakes, spinnign the shuttle so that the enemy shuttle will fly right by him, he would fire as soon as he passes by.
<MiniGM> 6The shuttle is nailed as Xanatos spins by him, it crashes into the tree's exploding.
<MiniGM> 6Darien passes by a room that says security.
<Seraphna> "In here boss."
<DeathStar> 6* Jerking to a stop, Darien fires at the doorknob, to blow it open.
* Xanatos rights himself and turns the shuttle moving after the second one, he fires a stray shot at it, aiming to make evade upward.
<MiniGM> 6The door flings open to reveal 4 guards who quickly turn around in surprise and begin to open fire into the halwlay.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien jerks to the side, his back pressed against the wall.
* Seraphna pulls out a flash grenade and rolls it into the room.
<MiniGM> 6The shuttle jerks up and pulls a U-turn, spiraling and firing as he passes by Xan.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien waits for it to off, then fires into the room.
<MiniGM> 6The flashbang goes off and the guards quickly go down.
* Xanatos fires at the shuttle and barrel rolls to the right, but the fire from the shuttle hits his shields, and he glances down at the shuttle output before making a U-turn to pursue the shuttle.
* Seraphna fires with him.
* Ceilidh heads over to where Darien and Sera are
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stops, then moves into the room, glancing for a map of the area.
<MiniGM> 6Darien finds a paper layout on the wall.
* Seraphna moves in and stands guard, "Do your thing."
<DeathStar> 6* He runs his finger along, trying to find where the interrogation room would be located.
<MiniGM> 6Darien quickly finds it, Cellblock C, Section 10E.
<MiniGM> 6The shuttle quickly begins pullingwards
<DeathStar> <Darien> Got it. 6He rips the map from the wall and steps out, heading for the area.
* Ceilidh follows Darien at last
<MiniGM> 6Ceilidh finally catches up with Darien.
* Seraphna follows after him.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr passes Setsuna, trailing after the others.
* Xanatos jerks the shuttle upwards, firing up at the enemy shuttle.
<MiniGM> 6The shuttle suddenly flips around and freefalls towards Xan, aiming to crash right into him.
<MiniGM> 63 guards drop out of side hallways and begin opening fire directly infront of Ceil, Sera and Darien
* Xanatos drops out two more mines as he spins the shuttle and pulls up, falling backward away from the enemy shuttle.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien is hit in the shoulder, gushing out blood as he falls backwards.
<DeathStar> 6* Spinning, Darien hits the ground, firing at the guards.
* Seraphna guards, blocking her shots as she takes down her immediate attacker.
* Ceilidh fires on a guard, then ducks behind cover quick
<MiniGM> 6Two of the guards hit the ground immideately, the third hurls a grenade towards them.
<DeathStar> NRP: Shoot the grenade, Alicia!
* Seraphna grabs Darien and hauls him as she leaps back.
<DeathStar> NRP: It'll be like a rocket!
<Ceilidh> NRP: ...
<DeathStar> NRP: :)
* Ceilidh keeps OUT of the way of the grenade
<MiniGM> 6The shuttle pulls up and spins between the two mines causing them to explode, it begins to spiral towards the mountain side, crashing into it moments later.
<MiniGM> 6The grenade hits the ground and then bounces into the air, sending out a burst of sharp needles. The guard, ducks back into a hallway
* Xanatos spins his own shuttle around, righting himself and taking a breath of air, he glances down at his sensors to make sure more enemies haven't joined the fight.
* Seraphna has quit IRC (Killed (NickServ (Nick kill enforced)))
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr arrives on the scene, firing at some of the needles.
* Seraphna has joined #PAX-Season7-10TeamDarien
<MiniGM> 6It would appear that there's too much going on inside the base for them to care about Xanatos anylonger.
* Seraphna holds out her Gunatleted hand, stopping a section fo the needles heading at her and those next to her. The gauntlet's power flickers off after the block.
* Xanatos keeps the shuttle in a patrol, waiting for the radio call.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien waits for the needles to be dealt with, then rushes forward, trying to shoot the remaining guard if he's around as he heads for Cassandra's cell.
<MiniGM> 6The needles imbed themselves into the walls around them. The Guard steps out only to be shot by Darien. He hits the ground.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien takes pained breaths as he surges onward.
<DeathStar> 6* A rail gun blast slams into XAn's shuttle from the ground - blasting out his engine.
<Ceilidh> "Darien, are you alright...?"
* Ceilidh follows Darien, looking concerned
* Seraphna moves after him
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'll live long enough to find Cassandra. 6He notes.
<Ceilidh> "... don't push yourself too hard... it won't be any good if you kill yourself to save her..."
* Xanatos curses, and tries to get controls of his shuttle so he can crash safely.
<Xanatos> NRP: haham crash safely.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien keeps his eyes on the map, waiting for the arrival of the room he thinks Cassandra is at.
<MiniGM> 6They finally reach what appears to be the room they want.
<MiniGM> 6Xanatos slams through trees as the shuttle hits the ground, skidding across the dirt and throwing up debris
* Cassandra`Arakawa has joined #PAX-Season7-10TeamDarien
<DeathStar> 6* Darien blasts open the door room, eyeing a nude Cassandra strapped to the wall, with a knife stuck in her left hand. Adam, also exposing himself, turns to eye Darien in surprise. Darien fires at him, but Adam teleports away.
<Seraphna> "...That git..."
* Xanatos pulls himself up and moves to the back of the shuttle, sliding out of the ramp and moving toward the base.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Jesus. 6He mutters, moving over to Cassandra on the wall, pausing as he hears a strange ticking sound coming from Cassandra. He places his ear to her chest, despite the fact his face is on her breasts.
* Cassandra`Arakawa coughing and gasping as Adam was in the middle of strangling her.
* Ceilidh hurries to Cass to help her
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... Jesus. 6He leans back. "They put a bomb in her and it's counting down, I think."

* Ariel nods, and starts off north. She's not obviously armed, but she seems... wary.

* Ariel quietly looks at Warren and regards him a few moments before speaking. "...thank you about before."

<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "What is it?"

<DeathStar> <Warren> More intact ruins. 6He corrects.
<Ariel> "How far?"
<MiniGM> <Dias> Seem's like more rubble to me.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru perks up noticably
<DeathStar> 6* Warren glances down at a sensor. "A few miles."
* Ariel considers a moment, then continues on foot.
<DeathStar> 6* As he walks along, Warren steps a bit closer toward Ariel, talking low enough for her benefit. "Are you feeling better now?" 6he asks, a hint of concern in his tone.
<Myria> Do you detect anything?
<MiniGM> <Dias> I detect more rubble.
<Ariel> "...I have a lot to think about."
<DeathStar> <Warren> I'm here if you need to talk. 6He says in a low voice, then glnaces at the sensors, speaking loud enough for everyone. "The sensors are still haywire from the planet, but there's something under us I think. The entrance might be those ruins."

<DeathStar> <Warren> Under.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "Makes sense."
<Ariel> "It's worth investigating." *starts towards the ruins* "...though, watch for any dangers."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren moves along at a steady pace until they reach the larger ruins. He steps through what once was a doorway, glancing around.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru heads after, cautiously
<DeathStar> <Warren> Something tells me that your people didn't build this. 6He notes, judging the age of the ruins.
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Steps through the doorway, looking up as he walks in.
* Myria examines some of the ruins as well...
<MiniGM> <Dias> Maybe they built on top of it.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Under it, you mean.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "Hmm... seems strange, but not unheard of."
<Ariel> "There are traits might be reminiscant of my culture, but... it is certainly quite different."
<MiniGM> <Dias> No, maybe these ruins were built ontop of hers.
<DeathStar> <Warren> If these ruins are older than her people, then I doubt that.
<MiniGM> <Dias> Oh...
<Myria> Hmmm...
<DeathStar> 6* Warren moves along, glancing at the ground, kicking up dust and dirt.
<Myria> What do you think?
<DeathStar> <Warren> I don't know. 6He glances up at the doorways, spotting four strange symbols, but one of them being busted.
<DeathStar> <Warren> I don't suppose anyone can read this.
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Follows Warren's glane, looking at the four symbols, his head tilting at the last one

* Ariel moves forward to take a look as well

<Ariel> "They're old."
<DeathStar> <Warren> What do they mean?
<Ariel> "I'm... not sure."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren nods once, moving his hand along the ground, moving the dust aside and finding the corresponding symbols.
* Ariel runs her finger along, "Earth... Fire... Water..." She trys to dust off the last one, hoping to make more out. "I can't make out this."
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "It's too much to hope that it's Wind?"
<Myria> What do we do?
<Ariel> "It's hard to be certain."
<DeathStar> <Warren> I believe you could be right. 6He says, looking up from the floor at the symbols. "And since the wind symbol is the only one broken." 6He aims his gun at the floor.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "Will shooting the floor help?"
<DeathStar> <Warren> I'll find out. 6He pulls the trigger, and the floor shatters, having been less solid - due to a staircase under it.
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Runs over to the now gaping whole in the floor and stares down it. "Cool"
<Myria> Down?
<Ariel> "...one way to make a door."
<DeathStar> <Warren> It most likely goes underground.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru starts down the stairs
<DeathStar> 6* Warren leans against the ruin walls, letting the others go on.
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Watches Hotaru walk down and follows down behind her.
<MiniGM> 6The stairs slowly spiral downwards, leading them to an underground passageway void of light.
* Ariel heads down, slower as she seems to be trying to check everything at once
* Myria goes down the stairs as well...
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Waves his hands around as he no longer can see, his hands grab onto something in the dark and squeezes it. "Squishy?"
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "... hands off."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl eyes Warren, then moves down next, turning on a light she brought. So far she's remained completely quiet.
<MiniGM> <Dias> Eeeep.
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Looks back at the light, his pupils instantly dilating.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren moves down next, slower and stiffer.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Whoever is in the lead might want the light. 6She syas finally, passing it forward
* Ariel forms a small amount of plasma abover her hand to use as a torch.
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Grabs the light, handing it to Hotaru.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "Thanks."
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru holds out the light to shine upon the path!
<MiniGM> 6A long hallway is before them, there's a very slight incline, as they walk further along, they can see an end to the hallway.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru continues walking
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "Be careful, everyone."
* Myria nod nods.
<MiniGM> 6Soon enough they reach the opening and before them is large cavern that is deep for miles and miles. Lining the walls and in a spiral cut around it at hybernation capsules.
* Ariel slows as she sees the room, moving very slowly as she looks around.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "Interesting... what are those?"
<MiniGM> 6The path cuts off the right immideately spiraling along the cavern wall and heading downwards. There seem to be ladders of sorts every 80 feet then lead down to the level below.
<Myria> Stasis chambers...
<Ariel> "...stasis chambers."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> But who would hide here?
<DeathStar> 6* Warren looks down, leaning on a cavern wall.
<MiniGM> <Dias> What are Stasis ChamberS?
* Ariel glances around for a console, then moves to the ladder if one isn't up here.
<MiniGM> 6There doesn't appear to be any consoles, but then again, this cavern goes for miles.
<DeathStar> <Warren> I'd be more concerned about WHAT they were hiding from.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "Time, maybe?"
<Myria> Time constant. Not time...something else.
<MiniGM> <Dias> Who' time?

<MiniGM> 6Ariel suddenly spots someone moving a little below her.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren puts a hand on the ladder, but doesn't descend. He sits down, taking deep breaths
* Myria has quit IRC (excalibur.esper.net discworld.esper.net)

<Myria> NRP: *pokes*
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl bypasses Ariel on the ladder and lands on the ground, trying to find what it is down there with them.
* Ariel drops the rest of the way, not about to be shown up by Cheryl
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Feeling chipper? 6She asks Ariel.
* Myria looks at Warren.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru just climbs down
<Ariel> "Prehaps eager."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl nods approvingly.
<MiniGM> 6They reach a small platform hanging above the ground. In the center is an armored person. He stops, eyeing Cheryl and Ariel, his eyes glowing blue as he spots them.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl tenses herself, preparing for battle.
* Ariel steps forward. Tense, but unarmed.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren glances at Myria.
<Myria> ...do we go too...?
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru steps forward with Ariel
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru remains unarmed
<DeathStar> <Warren> I just need... a moment.
<Ariel> "Identify yourself."
<MiniGM> 6The Guardian holds it's hand out to it's side, seconds later a spear appears in it's hands.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "We mean no harm."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> That doesn't appear friendly.
<MiniGM> 6The Guardian suddenly dashes forward, swinging it's spear towards Cheryl horizontally.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl activates her energy whip, snapping it out toward the spear to try to lasso it and jerk it away.
<Myria> Ok...
* Ariel slips behind the guardian, and tries to restrain it.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru summons her scythe, trying to cut through the spear
<DeathStar> 6* Warren closes his eyes, listening to the sounds of battle below.
<MiniGM> 6The Spear is lassoed but his grip is tight. Ariel grabs onto him with ease as Hotaru's scythe slams into the spear.
<Ariel> "You're outnumbered. Cease."
<MiniGM> 6The Guardian suddenly pulls his spear back, in an attempt to throw Cheryl directly into Hotaru. He uses his other hand to reach behind him and grab onto Ariel's neck, tossing her over his shoulder and onto the ground infront of him.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl is thrown.
<DeathStar> <Warren> You should avoid combat. 6He advises Myria.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru moves to the side to try to avoid Cheryl
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Leaps onto the platform and dashes across it towards the guardian.
* Ariel rolls as she's thrown. She forms a blade in her hand. "I said to stop. We did not come here to fight."
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "Maybe it can't even understand."
<MiniGM> 6The guardian dashes across the platform towards Ariel, thrusting it's spear towards Ariel's mid section
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl gets herself to feet. "Then we make it understand."
<Myria> Ok...
<DeathStar> 6* Warren grabs his gun, aiming down at the battle.
* Ariel moves to the side, slashing down towards the spear, and then bring her foot around to the guardian's head.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru swings at the guardian, sighing
<DeathStar> 6* Warren lines up for the perfect shot, then fires on the Guardian
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Dashes past Cheryl and Hotaru and leaps into the air, hurling a spin kick into the Guardian's neck, his body stops as it slams into it, the Guardian not moving until Ariel's foot slams into the guardian, sending it slamming into the ground as Hotaru cuts along it's back and Warren nails it on the ground.
<Ariel> "...I cannot say he wasn't warned."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren wipes at his forehead, smearing sweat. He tries to line up another hsot.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl spins forward, whipping out at it's face.
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Lands on the ground, all his weight on his left leg. "What the hell is he made off?!
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "I wonder if it's an automaton."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren drops the gun, closing his eyes as if frustrated. He tries aiming again, his aim shakey.
<MiniGM> 6The guardian begins to get up, albeit slowly.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru readies her scythe. "Cease your fighting."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl keeps her whip right for the head area.
<Myria> ...are you ok?
<DeathStar> <Warren> Just... 6He drops his aim again, reaching for his pocket.
<MiniGM> 6The whip hits' it target, wrapping around his neck
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl strains, trying to throw it off the platform and into the chasm.
<MiniGM> 6The guardian begins sliding, it drops it's spear grabbing onto the the energy whip and begins pulling back it's self.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl slides aong, straining.
<DeathStar> 6* Pulling out his pills, Warren tries to open it, his hands shaknig.
<MiniGM> 6Dias moves over beside Cheryl and grabs onto her arm, pulling to help her.
<Myria> I cna open...
<DeathStar> 6* Warren pauses, then nods, holding it out.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru just sighs...
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl nods, pulling with Dias.
<MiniGM> 6The Guardian begins sliding more and more.
<MiniGM> <Dias> Uhh...Now what?
* Myria takes the pill bottle and opens it, holdint it back out to Warren.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren takes it, nodding his thanks, then pops a few pills.
<MiniGM> 6The Guardian suddenly dashes towards the two, creating instant slack.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl stumbles backwards.
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Stumbles backwards and falls to the ground.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru rushes the Guardian, kicking at it
<DeathStar> 6* He takes a deep breath as the pills take effect.
<MiniGM> 6Hotaru slams into it, the Guardian's body slumping over the kick.
<MiniGM> 6The Guardian quickly wraps it's hands around Hotaru's leg and spins her around, slamming her into the platform.
<DeathStar> 6 *Warren picks up his gun and fires at the Guardian.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru slams into the platform hard, wincing
<MiniGM> 6The Guardian stands there, then suddenly slumps onto it's knees and over onto it's side.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl stares in shock, then up at Warren.
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Looks up then at Cheryl. "He's a good shot.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren lowers the gun, pocketing the bottle of pills.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "Well... at least it's not trying to kill us any more."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Everyone okay?
<MiniGM> <Dias> 6Looks over at Ariel, who's lieing on the platform. "Ariel's not...."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl slides over to Ariel, checking to see what happened.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru heads over to Ariel to see what's wrong
<MiniGM> 6IT would appear she wasn't fully recovered and over exherted herself.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> We should get her out of here before anything else happens.
<Myria> What do we do? She looks hurt...
<DeathStar> 6* Warren looks at her, concerned.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "We get her back..."
<MiniGM> 6The platform suddenly drops into the darkness, leaving Myria and Warren alone.
<Myria> What happened?!
<DeathStar> <Warren> NO! 6He shouts, staring at the darkness.
<MiniGM> SESSION END!
