<DeathStar> 6* Darien stands behind a protect glass window, his hand over a machine aimed at Cassandra. "Now remember, Cass, this shield only lasts for about 15 seconds and then needs a recharge period. If this test works, we'll proceed to spend the next few weeks upping the time."
* Ceilidh is looking up information on her datapad
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr sits on a bench, a bunny plushie on her head.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Alright. I'm ready.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Okay, I'll fire in 10 seconds. Activate your shield before I reach 1. 6He begins to countdown.
* Ceilidh heads over to watch the test
<DeathStar> 6* Darien has his hand over the device. He hits 5 seconds.
* Kane stands behind Darien, watching. Xan is off to the side, arms crossed and looking as pleasant as ever.

* Seraphna watches, taking notes on a datapad, her appearance has changed a bit.

* Ceilidh also takes notes
<DeathStar> 6* Darien hits the button, firing an EMP blast at Cassandra.
* Cassandra`Arakawa activates the EMP shield just before the device triggers.
* Kane notes Sera's shoulder length hair, but shrugs it off, looking back at Cass' test.
* Setsuna` winces a little, as Cass doesn't activate it until the last moment.
* MiniGM The machine grows silent as it releases it's EMP charge, it quickly reaches it's target and slams into the shield only to be negated as time ticks away.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lets out his breath, afraid it would have been too late.
<Seraphna> "Looks like the calibration is spot on..."
<MiniGM> 6Time ticks away as the machine reaches 10 seconds, then 11

<DeathStar> 6* Darien tunes out again, hitting things into his datapad, apparantly not listening to anyone.
* Ceilidh seems to be still taking notes on her datapad
* Xanatos scratches the back of his head and looks up to the ceiling. He could care less about all this for now.

* Seraphna shakes her head and works away on some calculations.
* Kane smirks at Ceil. Staring at her for a moment.

<Setsuna`> "Nothing for you, princess."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien slows down a bit, playing with his datapad.
<Xanatos> I don't see the point of that stuff, you've got no man to show it off too.
* Kane walks up beside him, waiting until away from everyone before talking. "Any more information about our spy?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> No. 6He opens his office door, sitting down and glancing at his monitors.
* Seraphna smiles and sits down next to Zephyr, "So ho ware you?"

* Kane stands in the doorway. "Oh alright, I've been trying to keep an eye out for anything different..." He trails of and turns to leave and then stops, glancing back, "Darien...have you figured anything out about Erevis, I would let Xan ask, but I noticed you two don't talk...so I was curious.."

<DeathStar> 6* Darien goes ot answer, but glances at his datapad. He opens up the information with a frowd.

* Ceilidh looks over to Kane

<Ceilidh> NRP: Oh, too far to see/hear the doorway?

* Xanatos glances down. "Alright then." He moves on for his van.
* Kane turns to head towards the van as well.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr gets to her feet, moving for the van after putting her rabbit in her pocket. Darien enters the parking lot.
* Ceilidh heads for the van also
* Cassandra`Arakawa climbs into the van and straps in.

* Seraphna heads out with the others, staying near Zephyr.

* Xanatos slides into the passenger seat.
* Kane gets in the van, leaving a spot open beside him for Ceil.
* Ceilidh gets into the van, sitting behind Sera
* Ceilidh sits next to Kane instead then!

<DeathStar> 6* Darien revs the engine, then backs up, spinning the van as if were a race car, then heads out.
* Setsuna` is sitting in the seat next to Zephyr, already.

<DeathStar> <Darien> A bomb went off in the Presidential Building. Specifically, the floor where our ambassadors and negotiators are located. The offices under Ceres Connor.
* Seraphna sits with Zephyr, ywaning a little.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien drives out onto the streets, heading along, glancing down at his datapad.

* Ceilidh eyes Seraphna

<DeathStar> <Darien> I don't know.
<MiniGM> NRP: *The van tips off as DS spins it around*
<DeathStar> * Darien navigates the streets. "I don't know if it's a V.I. attack, but I want to be sure."
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Be ready for anything then.

* Xanatos begins checking his pistols, just in case.
<DeathStar> 6* Up ahead, the Presidential Building can be seen, smoke coming out of one of it's rooms
* Kane glances at ceil, he smirks at her.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I wonder if everyone is okay. 6She mumbles.
<Xanatos> Hmmm. *he stares ahead, a frown on his face*
<Setsuna`> "Wouldn't be an easy place to get a bomb, in any case."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien pulls up the van next to a bunch of police vehicles and fire trucks and bomb squads who are already there. Ceres Connor and Stella Akai can be seen outside, already speaking with some officers
<Ceilidh> "At least there's that."

<Seraphna> *Ceres sighs and puts a hand to her head gently, shaking her head softly at something.
* Xanatos smirks, seeing some of their old friends are ok.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps out of his van, showing his military identification to get through
* Xanatos steps out, walking after Darien.
<Red_Fox> "Any leads...?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr hops out, passing by the police officers, getting some looks for her apparant young age.

* Ceilidh follows Zephyr
* Kane walks behind Ceil.

<Seraphna> Ceres> "The package was for Stella."
<Red_Fox> "Darien. Nice to see you again.. I just wish circumstances weren't so tense."

<DeathStar> <Darien> Package for Stella? 6He asks, wanting clarifaction.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr peers around at the crowd of people watching.
<Red_Fox> "If I knew who, it'd be helpful... yeah, someone's tried to off me by sending me a bomb for a present."

<DeathStar> <Darien> Mind if we look at your security logs? Maybe we got a shot of your delivery man.

* Kane brings a finger to his chin as he thinks.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien motions to Cassandra. "Cassandra, take a few of the people and go inside with Akai, and see if we can identify the delivery man."
* Xanatos slides forward, he winks at Stella. "Good to see you."
<Red_Fox> "Good to see you too, Xan."
<Seraphna> Ceres> "Who would be trying to off you Stella?"
<Red_Fox> "Damned if I know."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps away, glancing around at the crowd.
<Xanatos> Someone that is angry about her being a diplomate?
* Setsuna` moves after Cass, figuring it's something to do.
<Red_Fox> "Seems a strange reason, but maybe... or maybe someone who wants war with Erus or similar."
<Seraphna> Ceres> "Well, she hasn't beaten up any ambassadors in a bit..."

* Red_Fox leads the group to the monitors?

* Ceilidh sticks with the group. She can do her best work there, anyway

* Xanatos nods and turns to walk off to do a visual search.

<Kane> Want me too help with the surveillance?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien walks along outside, not having gone inside. He scans the crowd, a frown on his face.
* Setsuna` heads out to survey the area as well
* Seraphna steps up near Darien, "Seems odd, killing her."
* Ceilidh heads out to see if she can find anything

* Xanatos steps outside the monitor room and leans against the wall.

* Cassandra`Arakawa taps directly into the surveillance system and starts going through all the security data.

<DeathStar> <Darien> We didn't. It perked my interest.
* Kane moves over to a monitor, searching for the person that delivered the package.
* Ceilidh checks... the main entrance!
<MiniGM> 6After some scanning of the surveilience video, they get a good shot of several delivery people, one catching Red Fox's attention.

<Seraphna> I see... you often go on interest?

* Red_Fox examines the delivery people, anyway
* Xanatos studies the delivery people. "Anyone look familiar?" He asks those in the room.
<Xanatos> NRP: FUCK. Kane did that.
<MiniGM> 6Red Fox would remember one of the personel that let one of the delivery guys in.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> *c* I think we have something here... *relays the entrance that the delivery people were located at to the others*

<DeathStar> <Darien> You'll just have to wait and see. 6He notes, pausing, glancing at the crowd again.

* Xanatos slides into the room, whats up? *looks at the delivery people*

<DeathStar> 6* Darien stiffens. "Stay here." 6He rushes forward. One man spots him, and quickly begins to hurry off.

<Seraphna> Ceres> "Stella?"
<Red_Fox> "Back when I was on Erus, the bastard kidnapped me, and first tried to brainwash me, then when that failed, tried to kill me."

<Kane> That guy right there? *points to Fury*

* Xanatos shakes his head. "Alright, do you know if he has any group affiliations?"
<MiniGM> 6Fury can be seen moving towards the stairs off to his left.

* Red_Fox tries to remember what's up there
<MiniGM> 6The footage suddenly begins to distort then shows nothing.
<DeathStar> 6* All sorts of offices are up there, including the PResident's.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> ...footage is scrambled...damn.
<Kane> Was that the time of explosion?
<Red_Fox> "... someone should check the offices, just in case Fury's set some other trap."
* Seraphna blinks and then claps her hands together, "Tyler... Tyler???"
<DeathStar> 6 *Darien chases the Tyler man into an alley.
* Seraphna moves after them.

* Xanatos nods to Cass. "Come'on lets go check the offices."

<DeathStar> 6* When Sera reaches the alley, all she would find is a doorway forced open into a building complex, and no sight of Darien or Mccabe
* Seraphna fixes her glove and walks carefully to the door.
* Red_Fox starts for the offices too

<MiniGM> 6As they reach the top floor they're suddenly stopped by Guards.
<DeathStar> 6* Nothing prevents Sera as she reaches the doorway. It appears to be an office building of sorts.
* Seraphna moves in, keeping a careful watch as she attempts to figure out where they went
<DeathStar> 6* Several people are talking in confusion as Sera gets near them. They appear to be standing near a staircase.
* Xanatos glances around. "Problem?"
* Seraphna heads over to them, "What's the problem?"
<DeathStar> <Office Guy> Two crazy people just tore up the staircase. One had his gun out.
<Xanatos> What did they look like?
<DeathStar> NRP: That's to Sera. Dias is DMing your guards.
<Kane> NRP: oohhhh. Sorry.
<MiniGM> <Guard> This is the presidential floor...And there was a bomb attack...No one is allowed on this floor.
<Red_Fox> "That's precisely why we want it searched."
* Seraphna nods and heads up the stairs.
<Xanatos> We believe someone may have planted a bomb up here too.
<MiniGM> <Guard> We already have it under control with our own bomb squad.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Can we please look? 6She uses her cute expression at the Guard. "We won't do anything bad."
<MiniGM> <Guard> 6The other guard suddenly gets that deer in a head light look as he looks at Zephyr. "Su..sure..."
<MiniGM> 6The other guard smacks him. "No one is allowed up here.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr pauses, then looks at Cassandra. "Perhaps Ceres can get us access. She works for the President."
<Xanatos> Where did Ceres go? *he looks around for her*
<DeathStar> 6* As Serena climbs, she can hear gunshots above. Clearly Darien wants this man.

<DeathStar> <Zephyr> *sighs* Well, it appears we cannot continue now. What do we do?
* Seraphna bites her lip a little and moves on after them.
<Seraphna> *Ceres finally reaches the others, typing on a datapad, "Hmmm?"
<Red_Fox> "Have you seen David Fury? I have reason to believe that he was behind the attack."
* Seraphna pulls out her datapad, starting to check on something.

<Xanatos> Can you get us access to the top floor? *he asks Ceres*

* Setsuna` has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer)
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr moves into the Presidential Offices. There, President Hodges can be seen talking to...David Fury. Both men glance up as the people make their way in.
<Xanatos> Uhh, he glances at Fox.

<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr points. "Should I apprehend him?"
<DeathStar> <Fury> Excuse me?

<Seraphna> Ceres> "Mr. President, this man was identified as the bomber."

<Seraphna> *Sera draws her gun and moves carefully tot he doorway.
<DeathStar> 6* Hodges and Fury exchange glances, then Hodges stares at Ceres. <Hodges> This man was here at the time of the explosion.
* Xanatos narrows his eyes. "Seems we may have been mistaken..."

<Seraphna> Ceres> "We may have been, I'm sorry, but we haven't been properly introduced. Mr Fury is it?"
<DeathStar> 6* As Sera reaches the roof, she can see Darien dangling McCabe off the roof, both of them exchanging some sort of words.
<DeathStar> <Fury> Yes. 6He notes awkwardly, glancing at all of them.
* Seraphna readies her gun, on McCabe, "Darien, you caught him."
* Red_Fox remains quiet
<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns, distracted, when McCabe suddenly punches him in the face, falling off the roof. Spinning to the ground, Darien grunts.
<DeathStar> 6* He jerks to his feet, leaning over the roof edge, trying to spot McCabe.
* Seraphna 's eyes go wide as she sees the man apparently commit suicide, running to join him, "Is he dead?"
<Cassandra`Arakawa> It is possible that someone was masquerading as Mr. Fury.
<Red_Fox> "... I suppose so..."
<DeathStar> 6* McCabe, having landed on a window cleaning unit, shoots the window out and moves back inside. Darien slams his fist down on the roof edge.
<DeathStar> <President Hodges> Quite so. Mr. Fury is a well respected man. Now if you would all be so kind as to leave.
<Seraphna> Ceres> "Mr. President, you've never indtroduced me to your friend before."
<Xanatos> Uhh. Yeah we shoud leave. *he tells the others*
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> But...
* Seraphna watches him go, "So, who is Tyler McCabe?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... he's the man who tricked John into getting rid of Erevis. 6He wipes his bloody lip.
<Red_Fox> "Are you certain that that is the real David Fury?"
<DeathStar> 6* Hodges stares at Fox, as if she were insane.
<Cassandra`Arakawa> We are sorry to intrude. Let's move out.
<DeathStar> <President Hodges> Are you saying I'm being tricked? Now leave my office!

* Red_Fox turns to leave, obviously annoyed
* Xanatos turns to leave, Kane moves after him.

<Red_Fox> "So, the question remains... was Fury unaware of the contents, is he a fake, or is there a conspiracy..."
<Seraphna> *Ceres shakes her head, "Sorry to bother you Mr. President."
* Ceilidh eyes Fox uncertainly
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> ... Now what do we do? 6She asks Cassandra.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien takes a deep breath, turning away from the roof ledge.
<Seraphna> "That's it?"
<Red_Fox> "Investigate the delivery man, I guess."
<DeathStar> <Darien> And now he has her power. 6He notes darkly.

<Seraphna> "How were you not torn apart?"
<Cassandra`Arakawa> Red...never do that again. Our funding probably got cut because of that one.
<Xanatos> She didn't know Cass. *he sais with a sigh*
<DeathStar> <Darien> He's not activately using it. Just...forget it.
<Red_Fox> "... never do what again? Ask you to investigate an obvious threat?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien begins to retrace his route, obviously something weighing on his mind.
* Xanatos steps outside, looking up at the sky. "So did anyone get a picture of the delivery guy?"
