<MiniGM> 6Chad coughs as he pushes himself up, his left hand quickly reaching for the gun behind his back.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rolls onto his side, grabbing his own gun. He stares through the smoke and sees five V.I. troops - four with assault rifles and one with a rocket launcher.
* Seraphna coughs hard, slowly trying to get up
<DeathStar> 6* The four V.I. troops open fire.
* Seraphna tries her best to get away
<DeathStar> 6* There's no where to get away to - except near the wreckage of the burning shutle.
* Seraphna uses what she's got then.
<MiniGM> 6Chad narrows his eyes as he finds the attackers. He quickly dashes off to the side, heading to the wreckage, firing shots behind him.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien throws himself into the smoke, using the remaining shuttle as a shield from their fire. Erevis crawls into cover zones too.
<DeathStar> <Darien> It would seem the base is not abandoned.
<MiniGM> You think?! 6He leans out from behin the wreckage, and fires three shots at oneo f the gunman.
<Seraphna> "So... what do we do...?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances at Chad, then fires around the corner, not really aiming to hit anyone.
<MiniGM> <Chad> Unless you plan on getting killed here...
<DeathStar> 6* The four men slow down just long enough not to get hit.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances at the two, wondering if they're always this chatty.
<MiniGM> 6Chad crouches then spins out firing 4 rounds at another gunman
* Seraphna watches, unarmed.
<DeathStar> 6* The gunman is hit, being knocked down. Darien frowns, firing not a the gunmen - but further behind them.
<Seraphna> "The rocket launcher?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> If he reloads it, we're dead.
<MiniGM> 6Chad glances over at Darien from his spot, eyeing him carefully.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes Chad. "I'm not Warren. I can only try my best." 6He fires around again.
<MiniGM> <Chad> No wonder you stay at your base where you're safe...
<Seraphna> "Give me your gun."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien ignores Chad, clearly not easily riled. He keeps firing raound the corner.
<DeathStar> 6* He tosses Sera his gun immediately.
* Seraphna leans over, takes quick aim, and fires at the rocketlauncher guy
<DeathStar> 6* The rocket is hit. Close.

* Seraphna readies herself and takes another shot after the retailiating volley.
<DeathStar> 6* The rocket man is hit and falls over.
<MiniGM> 6Chad drops to the ground and leans out firing again at another rifleman.
<DeathStar> 6* The remaining gun members open fire on Chad as he leans out - he still manages to peg one.
* Seraphna quickly studies the remaining riflemen before she ducks.
* Seraphna turns, closes her eyes, "Fix it fix it fix it..."
* Seraphna turns and takes shots at the remaining riflemen.

* Seraphna takes the next shot at the injured rifleman before ducking again

<MiniGM> <Chad> 6Leans back out from the wreckage slowly, eyeing the area infront of him
<DeathStar> 6* Darien reaches into his coat and pulls out his energy sword. He steps out, activating the energy sword. The rifleman fires at him, but he parries with the blade, charging and gutting the man.
<Seraphna> "Well... looks like a sign somethings up..."
<MiniGM> 6Chad steps out from the ruins fully making his way towards Darien. "Well so much for atleast getting an element of surprise.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien deactivates the blade. Erevis gets to her feet, stepping out, glancing at the building.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Lets explore the airport. I have a feeling something is wrong here. 6He begins to move across the airfield.
<MiniGM> <Chad> 6Shakes his head, pulling off his t-shirt, his tact suit on underneath.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien walks along calmly, keeping his eye out for more V.I. troops.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis walks along, glancing at Chad as she passes, arching an eyebrow.
<MiniGM> 6Chad tilts his gun, dropping a clip. He moves the gun behind his back and brings it back front and smacks the new clip in tight.
<DeathStar> 6* They reach the airport doors unharrassed.
* Seraphna follows them, walking a little backwards, wary of thier rear
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leans against the side of the wall next to the door, glancing at Chad to see if he's ready
* MiniGM slides over to the otherside and nods to Darien as he crouches.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien kicks in the door and rolls in low.
<MiniGM> 6Chad spins in behind Darien, sweeping his gun around quickly as he looks for targets
<DeathStar> 6* There appears to be nothing, but sounds can be heard coming from the offices in the back. Paper shredder?
<MiniGM> 6Chad motions his fingers towards the back and begins moving quickly towards it.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis walks in calmly, glancing around silently.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods, moving for the back. It leads them to a slightly open office door.
<MiniGM> 6Chad slides up to the side of the doorwar, peaking through the crack to look inside
<DeathStar> 6* A V.I. trooper is destroying documents.
<MiniGM> 6Chad quickly kicks the door open, firing his gun into the V.I. troopers right shoulder.
<DeathStar> 6* The Trooper is hit in the shoulder and he spins over, hitting the side of the cabinets.
<MiniGM> 6Chad quickly moves in to restrain the trooper.
<DeathStar> 6* The trooper aims his own gun and fires it into his head, killing himself.
<MiniGM> <Chad> 6Turns his head, move to keep any blood spray from hitting his face then to not see it.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stares as the man kills himself, moving to the documents. He begins to flip through them.
* Seraphna walks in after hearing the gunfire and gasps at the scene.

<DeathStar> <Darien> Mmm, it seems to be flight information and transportation locations for V.I.
<MiniGM> <Chad> But why keep paper records?

<DeathStar> 6* It would appear, from what he can make out -- a person arrived.
<MiniGM> 6Chad reaches behind his back and pulls out his datapad from one of his pouches. He then types on it and waves it slowly over the piece of paper.

<MiniGM> <Chad> Hmm....No name...But whoever it was stopped here to goto Facility...12?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances up. "Facility 12? There's a place on the map here listed as F.12". 6He points it out. It appears to be ten miles from here.
<MiniGM> 6Chad looks over at Darien then at the map, studying the terrain.
<MiniGM> <Chad> This perons stopped here 3 months ago...Which is right when father was supposed to be here...
<Seraphna> "Could it have been Dad...?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Then it seems we're going to go on a field trip. 6He grabs some keys off the dead trooper.
<MiniGM> <Chad> You got enough info to help you find them later on Darien?
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'm going to Facility 12 now. If they know we're here, something tells me this place won't be around for long. 6He moves outside. ERevis watches him pass.
<MiniGM> 6Chad turns walking out after Darien, motioning for Erevis to follow.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps outside, moving to the V.I. truck outside. He cranks it up. Erevis shrugs, moving to get in.
<MiniGM> 6Chad steps onto the side rail and opens the door. Motionining for Sera to get in and then Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien begins to drive off with just Chad and Erevis apparantly.
* Seraphna does as instructed, looking deep in thought
<MiniGM> 6Chad climbs in as the truck begins pulling away, shutting the door behind him.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien drives along the deserted landscape, glancing at Chad only one time.
<MiniGM> 6Chad can be seen leaning against the door, his eyes distant, obviously deep in thought.

<DeathStar> 6* The truck rides along a dusty road. Erevis glances out quietly.
* Seraphna looks at the gun in her hand, "Part of me hopes we don't find him... is that... bad?"

<DeathStar> 6* They are half-way there. The only sound is the engine.
<MiniGM> <Chad> The odds are slim that who we're looking for will be at the this Facility 12.

<DeathStar> <Darien> Then again, maybe whoever is there wants to be found.

<DeathStar> <Darien> We're coming up on the location. 6He slows the truck down - sure enough, what appears to be an abandoned research facility can be seen ahead.

<MiniGM> <Chad> I'll go in first, you guys stay back at the entrance and keep an eye out for anything coming up on my blind spots. When I feel it's clear, I'll signal you. 6Chad opens the door and stands on the side railing as the truck drives forward.

<MiniGM> 6Chad leaps off as the thruck slows down and begins running towards the main entrance, sliding to a stop by the main gate and leans against. He peers into the Facility complex, looking around

<MiniGM> 6Chad reaches into a pouch behind his back and pulls out a small single eye bincoular and begins looking around.

<DeathStar> 6* The main door appears to be a huge hanger type door - that's locked.
<MiniGM> 6Chad leans against the hanger door, then waves at them briefly before he turns to look for the locking mechanism
<DeathStar> 6* Darien drives up into the facility, getting out of the car. Chad would find the controls near the door.

<MiniGM> 6Chad moves over to the controls and taps it to see if it'll activate.

<DeathStar> 6* As Chad and Darien step in, they can see a man, a much older man, standing with their back to them. His white lab coat shines off the flourlenct lights
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad's lifts his pistol with both hands, aiming it at the man as he begins walking towards him. "Put your hands up."
<DeathStar> 6* The man turns to look at Chad. And, from the video records he has managed to find, would recognize him immediately. The scientist who created Slasher.

<DeathStar> 6* Garland steps back to avid it, then moves in past the spin and swings, nicking Hotaru's attacking arm.
<Ariel> *glares at Garland. Glare. Glare*
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru swirls her scythe rapidly, aiming for Garland's arm
<DeathStar> 6* Garland slides his arm back, parrying. He leaps up and away, but spins the scythe around to jab into Hotaru's side as he moves back.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru steps back to avoid the blow
<DeathStar> 6* Garland lands on the platform. He holds the scythe ready, it's end sparking with energy.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru rushes forwards, readying her scythe to swing at the end of the charge
<DeathStar> 6* Garland brings his scythe up, letting them parry. He suddenly activates a third scythe hidden in his coat, and as he keeps Hotaru busy, drives it into her stomach, the end erupting out her back.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru moves to roundhouse kick Garland, but her eyes go wide at the extra scythe
<DeathStar> 6* Garland is kicked, and the third scythe is left in Hotaru. He stumbles away.

* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru pulls out the scythe, and then drops to her knees
<Ariel> *runs over to her friend's side*
<DeathStar> 6* Garland brings the second scythe around, regarding Hotaru sadly. "I am sorry it had to end this wa.y"

<DeathStar> 6* Stepping back, Garland hits a button on his wrist and all 5 start swooping in at all angles, aiming to impale them from 5 different ways.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru parries one, trying to dodge the rest

<DeathStar> 6* The one is parried away, and she manages to dodge one, but another drives into her leg, and two come in at Em, aiming to cleave into her if she can't stop/avoid.

<DeathStar> 6* Em successfully manages to knock one away, and only gets slightly cut in the arm by the second - her damage is minute.

<DeathStar> 6* Garland barely has time to parry Em, having been surprised. As Hotaru moves in, she cuts into his arm, forcing him to leap away from both.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "I haven't been facing you seriously until now."
<DeathStar> 6* Garland evaluates the two.
<Ariel> "...you're kinda scary when you're determined, Hota."
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "I hope so."
<DeathStar> 6* Garland dashes forward, throwing out a spin slash at Hotaru's chest.
<Ariel> *moves in to block the slash with all her strength*
<DeathStar> 6* Garland is parried, straining against Em.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru swings at Garland while he's otherwise occupied
<DeathStar> 6* Bam. Garland stumbles back, blood pouring down his chest, covering his coat and armor.
<DeathStar> <Garland> You have...grown stronger...Hotaru... 6He notes, a tone of pride in his voice.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "So have you... if only you'd not strayed from the path..."
<DeathStar> 6* Garland leans against the side of a building, glancing at the long drop from the platform. "But ... the universe has a lesson left to teach you. Loss."
<DeathStar> 6* A scythe that had positioned itself behind Em flies at her back suddenly.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru spins to parry it
<DeathStar> 6* Garland turns, swinging his scythe at Hotaru from behind as she parries to save Em.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru spins to try to dodge or parry this one too
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> NRP: In slow motion
<DeathStar> 6* Despite her speed, Hotaru cannot move from this one and the scythe drives into her shoulder.
<DeathStar> 6* Garland, still keeping it in her, attempts to swing Hotaru off the platform.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru winces, taking the blow
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru grabs the scythe, and refuses to let go
<Ariel> *attempts to slice through the scythe*
<DeathStar> 6* Garland keeps her hanging over the edge as she grips it. But Em breaks his scythe.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru falls, grabbing at the ledge
<DeathStar> 6* The energy coursing into Hotaru from the blade dies down after it's cut.
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru moves to pull herself back up
<DeathStar> 6* Garland spins out, aiming to kick at Em, trying to knock her away. "You are her strength now, girl?"
<Ariel> *blocks the foot with her scythe shaft as if she knew it was coming* "Strength? She doesn't need it from me."
<DeathStar> 6* Garland lowers his foot and cups his hands together
<Ariel> *moves forward quickly to kick Garland in the groin*
<DeathStar> <Garland> Kiaaaaaa--- 6Is hit in the groin and falls to his knees.
<Ariel> "Bastard."
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru pulls herself up onto the ledge
<DeathStar> 6* Garland takes deep breaths
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "You've lost. Surrender or die."
<DeathStar> 6* Garland reaches out, pulling the cross to his lips and kissing it. "I pray for you, Hotaru, in the upcoming days." 6He lets himself pivot backwards and off the ledge, plummeting into the darkness below.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "... I'm not the one who needs to repent."
<Ariel> "......" *WTF look*
<Ariel> "...did he just..."
* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru nods. "Either he has a ship or something waiting to land on... or he chose death."
<Ariel> "...what a psycho."
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "... yeah."
<DeathStar> 6* John and Dias come crashlanding on the platform, the police car sparking. John leaps out. "I'm here to save you!"
<DeathStar> 6* John pauses, glancing around.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "I don't need saving... now."
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias steps off the platform, stumbling around, obviously sick from the ride

<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "Thanks though."
