<Seraphna> "What happened... why have you been hiding?"
<DeathStar> <Doctor> Well, my boy, that goes to show you shouldn't believe everything you hear. 6He pushes up his glasses with a finger.
<DeathStar> <General Cran> .... 6He shifts, crossing his arms. "You should not have come here, Serena."
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad stares at him. "...So that's how they knew what the anti-toxin would look like...
<Seraphna> "I've spent the last three months believing that I murdered you... and paying for it... what happened? Dad?"
<DeathStar> <Doctor> The anti-toxin? 6He snorts, clearly enraged. "The anti toxin?"
<DeathStar> 6* Cran shakes his head, moving further into the shadows.
<Chad`Winters> What the hell are you doing here?
<Seraphna> "Dad... let me see you..."
<DeathStar> 6* The Doctor stops his ranting. "I work here, boy. You should mind your manners around me."
<DeathStar> <Cran> You've changed so little, Serena. So very little. 6He notes, his tone sounding tired suddenly.
<Seraphna> "It's my biggest problem..."
<DeathStar> <Cran> ...
<Seraphna> "Why are you hiding Dad?"
<Chad`Winters> Give me one good reason why I shouldn't end your life now.
<DeathStar> <Doctor> End my life? 6He snorts. "I MADE you. That foolish Alexander may have twisted your mind, but *I* made you. MY genius."
<DeathStar> <Cran> We have nothing more to discuss, Serena. 6He notes, moving further away into the room.
<Seraphna> "Dad... wait!"
<Chad`Winters> You wanted me for nothing but as a tool of destrucion..
<Seraphna> "It was you wasn't it... you helped make Zera, and the virus."
<DeathStar> <Doctor> You are a weapon, Chad. The greatest weapon ever made. A killer without conscious or thought or reason. You were a genius. A genius of death. I tried to engineer a way to reverse what Alexander did to you, but clearly you're still a failure.
<Chad`Winters> One man's failure, is another man's redemption.
<DeathStar> <Cran> Yes. I created your double. And the virus that robbed you of your powers.
<Seraphna> "Why? Why are you doing this?"
<DeathStar> <Doctor> Obviously the "anti toxin" given to you at the base was a failure. Or Alexander purposely failed in it. No matter. I have my own serum created now.
<DeathStar> <Cran> And why should I not, Serena? Tell me. What have you DONE with your abilities? 6He says, slapping his hands down on the table, his face appearing in one of the pale lights.
<Chad`Winters> I find I enjoy the balance that's been met with my Id.
<Seraphna> "Nothing."
<DeathStar> <Doctor> Nonsense. 6He snorts, moving to a table full of needles. "Alexander was a full to give you a moral compass to go by."
<DeathStar> <Cran> Nothing. 6He repeats.
<Seraphna> "I did whatever you ordered, were you VI when they first kidnapped me too?"
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad stiffens up re-aiming it towards Johnson. "I advise you leave those alone.
<DeathStar> <Cran> V.I. 6He snorts.
<DeathStar> 6* The Doctor glances at Chad, taking one in his hand. "I'm going to fix you, Chad."
<Seraphna> "For once father, stop with the smoke and mirrors and tell me what's happening!"
<Chad`Winters> Like hell, I said I was happy with who I was.
<DeathStar> <Cran> No.
<DeathStar> <Doctor> Hardly. You don't know what true power is like.
<Chad`Winters> Maybe...but you'll be the last one to show me.
<Seraphna> "Did you not think I'd follow you? If you just told me?"
<DeathStar> <Doctor> There is nothing you can do to stop me.
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad tilts the gun slightly, firing off a warning shot by Johnson's head.
<DeathStar> <Cran> How simple minded you are Serena! 'Follow me'. 6He points at her. "Do you do nothing of your own accord? Do you allow everyone to manipulate you? Me? Spade? "
<DeathStar> 6* The Doctor taps something on his belt and suddenly Chad's arm drops down, and doesn't seem to work.
<Seraphna> "You're doing it even now."
<Chad`Winters> 6The gun clatters to the gun as both his arms hang limply. A worried look flashes across his face as he takes several steps back.
<Chad`Winters> NRP: ground
<DeathStar> <Cran> And you're letting me.
<Seraphna> "I want answers, and I want to make my own choice."
<DeathStar> <Doctor> I made you, Slasher. I made your brother, Dias. And you both will serve my agendas.
<Chad`Winters> What the hell did you to do me?
<DeathStar> <Doctor> A safety protocol.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran still says nothing, clearly not going to tell Serena what she wants to know.
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad's eyes zone out briefly then refocus back on Johnson
<DeathStar> 6* The doctor taps something else on his belt and Chad's legs stop working - but don't let him fall.
<Chad`Winters> What th...6He tries to move but doesn't. "Darien...some help...
<DeathStar> 6* Darien apparantly isn't there.
* Seraphna stares at him, thinking
<DeathStar> 6* Cran turns, clearly about to walk away.
<Seraphna> "I don't know you anymore. I thought I did."
<DeathStar> <Cran> Then maybe for once you can learn something. 6He begins to walk off.
<Chad`Winters> That son of a bitch...
<Seraphna> "STAY HERE!"
<DeathStar> 6* Cran ignores her.
* Seraphna runs after him.
<DeathStar> 6* The doctor stops in front of Chad. "You may be a prototype, Slasher, but you're still a great weapon." 6He begins to bring the needle forward toward Chad's neck.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran just walks, clearly not increasing his pace to get away from Seraphna.
* Seraphna puts her hand on his shoulder to stop him, "I said wait!"
<DeathStar> 6* Cran shakes her off, not stopping.
* Seraphna moves in front of him.
<DeathStar> <Cran> ...
<Seraphna> "I'm in your way. And I will be until you answer me."
* Seraphna looks at him right in the eyes.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran goes to step around her. "That's unbecoming of you."
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad growls as he struggles to try and break himself free
* Seraphna puts an arm out, not letting him go.
<Seraphna> "Maybe I've changed more then you think."
<DeathStar> <Cran> You think you can merely get what you want by blocking someone's path, Seraphna?
<Seraphna> "You want me to do more?"
<DeathStar> 6* The doctor grabs Chad's head, tilting it as he begins to put the needle in his neck. Right then the doctor is grabbed and slammed into the ground, his belt shattering.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien takes a deep breath. "Hah."
<DeathStar> <Cran> ...
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad stumbles back, losing his balance, resulting in him falling.
<Chad`Winters> You son of a bitch...
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well, you're welcome, too.
<DeathStar> 6* The doctor gets to his feet slowly.
* Chad`Winters pushes himself up and quickly moves over to the doctor, shoving him back onto the ground with a boot to the chest
<Seraphna> "For everything you've done to me... I should hurt you."
<DeathStar> <Cran> ...
<DeathStar> 6* The doctor hits the ground, wincing. "Slasher..."
<Seraphna> "You're my father, now treat me like your daughter."
<DeathStar> <Cran> You're a tool. Nothing more.
<Chad`Winters> It's Chad Winter's. 6He moves over slowly stepping on the doctors left hand.

<Seraphna> "I am Serena Cran."
<DeathStar> 6* The doctor scowls. "A failure. I'll show you what a real Weapon can do."
<Seraphna> "I am my own person."
<DeathStar> <Cran> No, you are not. You can redefine yourself as much as you like, tell yourself you are capable of anything, but you lack the will to do anything. You are a failure.
<DeathStar> 6* The room Chad's in begins to shake. Darien glances around. "Now what?!"
<Seraphna> "Yes I am."
<Seraphna> "Stop denying me!"
* Chad`Winters takes several steps back looking around. He then looks down at the doctor. "What the hell did you do?
<DeathStar> 6* Cran looks clearly unmoved. In fact, he looks down right disgusted with her.
<DeathStar> <Doctor> Meet your brother, Slash. I think you'll find how much you lack power. 6And with that, another person begins to step into the room, bulkier and buffer than Slasher.
<Seraphna> "I woke up to think you were dead. Would you have even shed a tear if I died?"
<DeathStar> <Cran> No. You are weak. You are incapable of anything.
<Seraphna> "I am capable of anything I want to do."
<DeathStar> <Cran> Clearly not of getting your answers from me.
* Chad`Winters looks up at Slash. 1"Brother huh....He must've gotten your looks."
<DeathStar> 6* Slash turns his head, an insane grin appearnig on his face.
<DeathStar> <Doctor> Slash, destroy Slasher!
* Seraphna doesn;t even blink, as she shoves him backwards. "Tell me!"
<DeathStar> 6* Cran rebalances himself.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash pulls out two short blades and activates a strange field around them. He holds the warp blades out in front of him. Darien activates his own weapon, stepping to the side.
* Seraphna realises she's done something she really thought herself incapable of, taking an offensive actaion against him, she changes the way she stands, an offensive stance, a cross between Spade's and Chad's.
* Chad`Winters growls slightly obviously knowing this isn't going to be an easy fight now. He reaches behind his back, pulling out his staff and extending it.
<Seraphna> "You're going to tell me."
<DeathStar> 6* Cran grabs his lab coat, pulling it off. He raises his own fists.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash dashes in on Chad, swinging out his blades in an X-Strike.
* Chad`Winters extends his staff, launching him backwards through the lab, distancing himself again
* Seraphna charges, kicking out at him.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran blocks with the arm that was broken and as Serena connects, it would feel as if she were hitting steel.
<DeathStar> <Cran> I had hoped fighting Zeraphna you would learn to get some backbone. From what I hear, you failed.
* Seraphna growls and turns into another kick. "I needed one last fall."
<DeathStar> 6* Cran blocks with his arm again.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash leaps up into the air, closing the distance instantly, bringing down both blaes.
* Seraphna moves the kick into a punch past his guard.
* Chad`Winters dashes to the side, and swings his staff upto intervept the two blades in an attempt to hold them at bay.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran grabs her extended arm with his own. "You are nothing but a weak little girl." 6He swings her into the wlal.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash activates his warp field, aiming to cut the staff in half.
* Seraphna flies back and cries out as she hits, slumping, before struggling to stand. "I am... not your tool."
<DeathStar> 6* Cran punches with the steel like arm, aiming for her stomach.
<Chad`Winters> 6The two parts of the staff clatter to the ground, Chad quickly dashes sideways, again trying to distance himself. "Dangerous blades...
<DeathStar> 6* Darien dashes in, swinging. Slash parries and the two struggle against each other.
* Seraphna groans and doubles over, falling to one knee, she moves to stand again, "I'm tired of being used..."
<DeathStar> <Cran> Then beat me.
* Seraphna opens her eyes suddenly, headbutting into him.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran tilts his head so their foreheads collide.
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad spins around then hurls the rest of his staff towards Slash's head as he's dealing with Darien
<DeathStar> 6* Slash ducks, breaks the parry, and kicks Darien away into a wall.
* Seraphna growls softly, glaring into his eyes, definance in them.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran reaches out to snag her by the throat with his steel crushing hand.
* Seraphna grabs his hand, holding him at bay, kicking out at him towards his lower areas
<DeathStar> 6* As she grabs, Cran jerks her off balance immediately with his arms. It would appear he has the strength of a Ridarium.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran throws a punch after she's off balance.
* Seraphna lets herself fall, clearing the punch as she uses the wall to push herself into him in a tackle
* Chad`Winters reaches both hands behind his back then shoves them forward, two small blades flying out of his hands towards Slash.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran is tackled along. He grabs her back and tosses her away.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash swings out to parry them.
* Seraphna flips and lands, skidding, her eyes dead set on him. "I am an Omega, powers or not, and I'll make you see it!" *she charges him again*
<DeathStar> <Cran> You refer to yourself as a weapon. Interesting. 6He prepares his body.
* Seraphna weaves to teh side as she punches, delivering a roundhouse kick towards his back. "When I need to be."
<DeathStar> 6* Cran grabs her fist with his hand, beginning to crush it. The roundhouse kick connects.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash rushes at Chad and swings out with his left hand blade.
* Seraphna cracks her own thumb, pushing outwards, breaking his hold on her hand and grabbing his wrist, pulling him witht eh force of her kick into a throw.
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad reaches his left hand behind his right side as he leaps backwards away from the slash and throws another dagger towards Slash.
<Seraphna> "All those times I was used... I grew stronger... learned more... I don't need your god damned gifts!"
<DeathStar> 6* Bad move again. As he grabs, Cran's superior strength yanks he toward him - and right into his knee.
* Seraphna groand and falls back, stumbling.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash parries with the right blade.
<DeathStar> <Cran> Hmph.
* Seraphna stands yet again, grinning softly, confidently looking him in the eye.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran swings out his power arm for her.
* Seraphna ducks, weaving to his other side, licking out at the flank.
<Seraphna> *kicking
<DeathStar> 6* Cran stumbles.
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad flips backwards onto a table, spring boarding off it with his hands, as he comes full around he kicks the table right into Slash.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien pushes himself from the wall.
<Seraphna> "Design flaw... how unlike you."
<DeathStar> 6* Slash turns and kick it, stopping it.
* Seraphna stands back in that stance, then moves into a defensive one, one hand out, the other behind her back.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran reaches down, grabbing a metal table and swinging it out at Sera.
* Seraphna dances back, her eyes focused on him.
<DeathStar> <Cran> Let us put this to an end. 6He begins to prepare for one last attack. "I am aiming to kill you."
<Seraphna> "Not this time."
<DeathStar> 6* Cran launches himself forward.
* Seraphna launches towards him.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran, using his weaker arm as a shield, punches forward with his power arm - right for her heart.
<Chad`Winters> 6Takes several deep breathes, having been forced on the defensive has begun to wear hium down
<DeathStar> 6* Slash leaps forward, spinning around in a fast circle, both blades whipping out.
* Seraphna drops at the last second, letting his attack fly over her, twisting to his weak side, she moves up into a strong kick for his midsection, using his movements to create an opening.
<DeathStar> 6* Cran is hit and falls to his knees, grabbing his heart.
<DeathStar> <Cran> Very good...Serena...
* Seraphna stands still, ready for his next move. "Never again Dad."
<DeathStar> 6* Cran leans his back against the wall, holding his chest.
<Seraphna> "Dad?"
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad squats then flips straight upwards as, flipping his body as Slash comes underneath him. He comes fully around kicking straight for his head.
<DeathStar> <Cran> ...listen carefully to me, Serena...I do not have a lot of time. V.I. made me work for them, wanting me to build them an Omega. To help them...find ... Origin.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash is kicked, but as he pivots around, he brings his blade around as well for a cut.
* Seraphna moves closer to him, kneeling down, "Dad... you'll be fine, we can get help."
<DeathStar> <Cran> I ... designed Zeraphna...to be flawed, in the hopes you...would beat her. But...you've always...seemingly lacked the will to fight.
<Chad`Winters> 6Jerks his body around, the blade slicing through the his tact suit and into his chest. He lands slightly hunched over, his hand covering his chest.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash stands ready. Darien begins to circle around behind him.
<Seraphna> "Flawed?"
<DeathStar> <Cran> I didn't ... put much humanity into her programming. 6He wheezes in pain.
<Seraphna> "Dad... come on let's get you help..."
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad glances down a the blood then slides into a fighting stance, his left hand held out and his right hand held low
<DeathStar> 6* Cran shakes his head. "Johnson put something into me to ensure...I would aid him. I needed you to ... bust me up... just enough so I could talk. It's too late for me. I need...to tell you..the truth."
<DeathStar> 6* Slash jerks right, then left, then zags for Chad, stabbing at his shoulder and leg.
<Seraphna> "Talk quick... we can fix you... I know we can..."
* Seraphna looks around for a way out.
* Chad`Winters twists on his other leg, tilting his body to fit between the blades, he swings his left hand towards Slash's left shoulder, aiming to pierce a nerve cluster.
<DeathStar> <Cran> It began with Ariel's arrival....6He takes ragged breaths. "Everything. She..had companion...originated...power unlike...anything. Venerator...took it..and hid it...never told anyone..where...now V.I. is looking...for it."
<DeathStar> 6* Slash brings up a knee to block the hand.
* Chad`Winters twists his hand at the last second, driving it under the kneecap.
<Seraphna> "Alright..."
<DeathStar> 6* Slash attempts to leap away.
* Seraphna conitnues to look for a way out, puilling out her datapad, trying to snd out a message.
<DeathStar> <Cran> Kill...Ariel. 6He says slowly. "I designed you...to kill Ariel. Before it is...too late."
* Seraphna blinks
<DeathStar> <Cran> If...companion..awakens...the entire...universe...will end...
<DeathStar> <Cran> Too strong...for...anyone. 6He closes his eyes.
<Seraphna> "Dad? Come on... hold on..."
* Chad`Winters reorientates himself and dashes in towards Slasher, throwing out a punch towards his stomach and then a left hook .

<DeathStar> 6* He reaches into his pocket, holding out a needle to her. "For you..."
<Seraphna> "The cure...?"
<DeathStar> 6* Slash holds out his blade so Slasher will punch into it.
<DeathStar> <Cran> Yes. You'll need...your gifts...to win. 6He slumps and his hand drops.
* Chad`Winters quickly swings his hand out, it grazing the outside of the warp field.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash slashes outward to counter.
* Seraphna takes it, injecting herself, she checks to see if it's safe to move him.
<Seraphna> "Hold on Dad... I'll be damned if you die now... I just got you back..."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis leans against the wall. "I am detecting no brain waves from him."
<Seraphna> "No... No... he has to live... we need to get help..."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rushes behind, stabbing at Slash. Slash twists, being grazed by the sword, but he slashes out against Darien's chest.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It is too late.
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad dashes in, his left hand moving to jab at Slashe's left side, an inch away, Chad's body suddenly snaps forward, his left hand formign a fist and striking upwards violently.
* Seraphna shakes him a little, "No...dad wake up... come on..."
* Seraphna starts to cry, holding him.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances away, looking for a way out.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash is hit and stumbles back.
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad plants his left foot, leaping off it then punching downwards for Slash's face.
<DeathStar> 6* Slash is hit in the face and hits the ground.
* Chad`Winters takes several steps back, his hand moving across his chest again as it rises and falls from deep breathes
<DeathStar> <Darien> You need to strike the final blow before he gets up again.
* Seraphna picks him up slowly, "Let's find my brother and get out of here..."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> We would need to find a way out.
<Seraphna> "I can make the jump now... are your powers returning yet?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... jump where? 6She eyes the ceiling.
<Seraphna> "We fell through... didn't we?"
<Chad`Winters> 6Chad dashes forward sliding over Slash, both his hands launch outwards, his hands twisting around as he begins hitting various spots over Slash's body.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> There is no exit above us.
<Seraphna> "He was walking that way..." *she nods her head* "...though we might find enemies that way."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien watches Chad beating up Slash. He shakes his head, takes the energy sword, and brings it down on Slash.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ...
<DeathStar> <Darien> Now lets find the girls --- 6Suddenly the entire facility shakes for everyone. "Great, a self-destruct sequence."
<Seraphna> "You could comment you know..." *she tries to make a joke, her voice shakey, clearly trying to hide her feelings right now*
* Chad`Winters stands upright looking at Darien. "Let's go..."
<Seraphna> "...Let's go."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis leans against the wall as it shakes.
<Seraphna> "Come on Erevis."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien slides over to the floor, jamming his energy sword in, trying to cut through the trap door.
* Chad`Winters reaches down, picking up both warp blades and walks over to Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis tilts her head toward the ceiling.
* Seraphna looks up
* Chad`Winters flicks the blades on and jams them into the floor.
<DeathStar> 6* Together, Chad and Darien cut open the trap door.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> An exit. 6She notes dryly to Sera.
<Seraphna> "You need help up?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ....
* Seraphna sighs and leaps up and out, holding Cran's body. Seeing if she follows.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes the dead Cran. "Seems I was right."
<DeathStar> 6* He leans back in, holding out a hand to Erevis. Who jumps up and grab it. Darien lifts her up.
* Chad`Winters eyes Cran's body. "How long has he been dead?
<Seraphna> "A few moments."
<Seraphna> "I'll explain when we get out of here."
* Chad`Winters looks over at Serena, eyeing her.
<Chad`Winters> Erevis, you unharmed?
* Seraphna looks back at him, not a hint of guilt on her face.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I will be fine.
<DeathStar> 6* The base shakes again. <Darien> Lets go. 6He moves for the exit.
* Seraphna moves as well
* Chad`Winters turns making his way to the exit, blood still coming out of his chest wound.
<DeathStar> 6* As they exit the base, they would find Janus shuttles waiting on them. And William Spade.
* Seraphna rushes her father to the nearest medical shuttle, despite what little good it would do.
<DeathStar> 6* Spade watches Sera move the body to the doctors. He glances back at Chad, clearly seeking an explanation.

<DeathStar> 6* John steps onto into the medical room. "So, how is my favorite Alpha doing?"

* Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru laughs
<DeathStar> 6* John looks at all of them. "Glad to see this crew is capable of laughing. Night girls." 6He gets up, walking out. "Oh yeah, last one out of here turns off the lights."

* Myria then leaves the medical bay for her quarters.
<Dragoon_Alpha_Hotaru> "I'll probably be the one switching the lights off, you know... but.. I think I'm just about ready to leave."
