He crosses his arms, talking to her, it appears, about something important, though she does not grasp the weight of it. "This whole universe has become a nightmare. Caught between the Dark Ones and Him. It all went wrong on that planet."
<DeathStar> <John> We lost so many people there. Ariel, Warren, Cassandra, Hotaru, Shiva, Chad... 6He shakes his head. "I wish we had done things differently, Michi. You would have liked them. Maybe we would have had a better fighting chance. That's why you can't let anyone know who your mother is. If they found out about your unique powers, it would be over." 6He kneels there. "Do you understand me?"

<DeathStar> 6* The scene has changed. It's dark night, and the sounds of fighting can be heard. Standing there is an older Erevis, blood running down the side of her face. She grips Michiru, who looks exactly as she did moments before she went back in time. "Listen to me, Michiru..." 6Her tone soft, her voice urgent. "I have to do something very desperate, and it will be hard for you, my dear daughter."
<Alicia> <Michiru> *listens, worriedly*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I'm going to send you back to people who can help you. It might be playing into his hands, because this will change the timeline, but we will risk it. Just remember, my daughter, changing things might give him the power he needs, but if you believe in the people you meet, then maybe you can make things better. That's all I can tell you. The human will is strong. Far stronger than him. You'll remember this -- when the time comes."

<DeathStar> 6* Warren grabs the comm. "All hands, red alert. Red alert. We have just encountered an enemy vessel." 6The red alert alarms rings.
* Xanatos perks his head up, moving out of his room, jogging towards the bridge.
* Chad`Winters quickly looks up from the his research room and begins moving to the bridge quickly.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren stands on the bridge, dressed in uniform. John stands on the other side of him. Out in space, a Dark One vessel begins to turn to face the PAX vessel.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias scratches the back of his as he glances around.
<Alicia> <Hotaru> *hurries to the bridge*
<DeathStar> 6* Warren turns to the pilot. "Prepare to jump us out of the system."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis clasps the buttons on her uniform as she rushes to the brdige.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> *Glances up, standing there in his waiter uniform, he is holding some dirty dishes. He frowns and moves to place them away*

<DeathStar> 6* PAX jumps.
<DeathStar> 6* As it reappears, the Dark One vessel appears along side again.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Hm. Persistent.
* Seraphna is on the bridge, she works emegency teams to get into positions silently.
<Chad`Winters> 6Shiva looks up from her bench, eyeing the red alerts
<DeathStar> <Warren> We won't be able to run. 6Grabs comm. "Battle stations! Everyone to battle stations. Prepare the fighters for launch."
<Ariel> Setsuna> *is at her terminal. She curses under her breath*
<Alicia> <Terra> *hurries to the hangar*
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias suddenly smiles and beings sprinting to the hanger
<Ariel> Em> <...Hota, what's going on?>
<DeathStar> 6* Pope begins to suit up in his uniform.
<DeathStar> <Pilot> They're jamming our jump engines. We can't escape.
<Seraphna> "...All power is at 100%, ready to take hits sir."

* Xanatos slides onto the bridge. "Looks like this is it, eh?"

* Chad`Winters steps onto the bridge. 1"What's the situation, Captain?"
<DeathStar> 6* Warren stands there, watching the CNC as the Dark vessel gets closer.
* Seraphna smiles weakly to Xan and works her controls.
<Alicia> <Hotaru> *follows Chad onto the bridge*
<DeathStar> <Warren> We're going to have to take out that ship to escape.
<DeathStar> 6* Pope climbs into his fighter.
<Alicia> <Terra> *does likewise*
<Chad`Winters> This will be interesting than.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl glances up fro mthe bar.
* Xanatos winks at Sera. "Do you want me to go help with the fighters?"
* Xanatos looks back to Warren.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias runs into the hanger and moves over to a fighter, climbing in quickly.
<DeathStar> <Pilot> They'll be in range in 30 seconds , sir. They are launching fighters of their own.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Understood. Launch our ships.

* Dias runs his fingers along the switches, quickly powering it up

<Seraphna> "...Launch bays open, ships flying sir."

* Xanatos nods and quickly turns, runnign out of the bridge and moves towards the hanger.

<DeathStar> 6* Warren grips a railing.
<Ariel> Setsuna> *holds on*

<DeathStar> <Warren> Launch a nuke at them. See if we can hurt them.
* Dias begins barrel rolling as he begins firing lasers at one.
<Alicia> <Terra> *fires on one, then takes evasive manuevers*
* Seraphna eyes the weapons console, as she starts collecting data.
<DeathStar> 6* The fighters break off from their shots, circling around on the two.
<DeathStar> 6* PAX launches a nuke at the Dark Vessel.

* Xanatos slides into the hanger and moves over to a fighter, hopping in and starting it up.
<DeathStar> 6* The nuke hits the Dark Vessel. No damage.
* Dias jerks his controls and pulls up to try and loop around.
<Alicia> <Terra> *attempts to circle her fighter instead, preparing to fire*
* Seraphna watches the Vessel for any reactions or effects.
<DeathStar> 6* New enemy fighters come i nas Terra does this, firing at her back.
<Dias> <Chad> It's not even hesitating this time.
* Ariel makes her way to the bridge. She glances to the screens, not needing to ask what's happening.
<Alicia> <Terra> *barrel rolls to avoid fire*
<Seraphna> "...They've figured out how to shield it then."
<DeathStar> <Warren> No. It's getting i nrange for it's tendrils.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> *also heads to the bridge*
<DeathStar> <Warren> Alright, back us up. Fire four nukes. There. There. There. And there. 6He marks off four points.
* Xanatos pulls up the fighter to hover, then launches, moving towards the battle, he readies his shields and moves in, coming in behind one of the fighter, firing onto it.
<DeathStar> 6* An eenmy attempts to ram Dias.
* Seraphna coordinates for the manuever.
<Alicia> <Terra> "Hooh, I'm popular today!" *moves, trying to get a bead on any of the fighters, firing the moment she does*
<DeathStar> 6* The PAX launches 4 nukes.
<DeathStar> 6* Terra hits an enemy! It keeps flying.
<Ariel> Em> <...what do we do?>
* Dias hits the boosters to try pulls up
<DeathStar> 6* XAnatos' shot does nothing, as well.

<DeathStar> 6* The nukes hit. The Dark Vessel stops, then resumes. Slower.

<Alicia> <Terra> *fires another shot*
* Xanatos grits his teeth, opening his comm. "Our shots are doing nothing, sir." He turns to move around for another pass.
<Alicia> <Hotaru> <Just worried.>
<DeathStar> <Warren> There. It hestitated.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Vessel fires. Warren grips the rail.
<Dias> <Chad> They havent' fully shielded themselves from it. It's just going to take more nukes.
* Seraphna looks quickly over the data from the hit.
<DeathStar> 6* The PAX is hit, shuddering. A console sparks.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> *enters the bridge* "How bad is it?"
<DeathStar> <Warren on Comm> The enemy's shielding is strong. You need to combine your shots with a fellow pilot.
* Dias jerks the controls and spins around as the fighter flies by, he tries to lock on.

<DeathStar> 6* Warren eyes the Dark Vessel getting closer.
<Alicia> <Terra> "Pope, you hear that?"

* Dias launches a missile at it.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Fighter dodges the missile.
<Xanatos> <Comm> Understood. *he circles back around coming in towards Dias, firing lasers at Dias' enemy.*
<Alicia> <Terra> *prepares to combine fire with Pope*
<DeathStar> 6* Pope flies side by side with Terra. A fighter spins and flies right at them both, firing.
* Dias begins firing his lasers at it as it dodges, boosting after it.
<Xanatos> <Comm> We can do this Dias. I'll be your wingman.
<Alicia> <Terra> *fires back, moving to avoid the shots*
<DeathStar> 6* Dias' shots hit the fighter, as does Xanatos. It spins outof contorl.
<DeathStar> 6* Pope flies to the side, then fires at Terra's spot. They blow it up.
<DeathStar> <Warren> We have a confirmed kill? 6He asks Sera.
* Dias continues his assault on it.
<Seraphna> "...We're getting confirmed kills sir!"
<Alicia> <Terra> "Nice work!"
* Xanatos also continues to fire at it.
<DeathStar> 6* A fighter comes in above Terra, firing down at it.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> *smiles*
<DeathStar> 6* XAnatos and Dias blow up the fighter.

<Alicia> <Terra> "I know." *moves to avoid the shots(
<DeathStar> <Warren> Alright. Then lets find a way to combine our shots on the main ship.
* Dias barrel rolls to a position just infront and to the side of him.
* Cassandra` gets security prepared in the event of a boarding action by the enemy.
<Dias> NRP: Xan.
<Seraphna> "...Attack a central point? The point thier weapon comes out of?"
<DeathStar> <Warren> Yes. LEts use a combinaiton. Nukes and battery cannons.
* Xanatos nods his head once. "We can definitely do this." He tightens on the controls, allowing Dias to take the lead.
<DeathStar> 6* Pope spins in and fires at the fighter attacking Terra.
* Seraphna links the firing solutions.
<Alicia> <Terra> *moves, firing at the same spot*
* Dias falls in behind a fighter and begins firing at it.
* Xanatos adjusts so his shots will hit as well, he fires.
<DeathStar> 6* Aother explosion. Dias' fighter jerks away, and right into Xan's shots.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Fire at will, Lt. Commander.
* Dias drops down low and adjusts his shots to hit it.
<Ariel> 6* Setsuna starts checking her equipment. If they need to repel boarders, she's going to be prepared.
* Seraphna fires.
* Xanatos stops firing, moving up to keep from harming Dias.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Vessel is hit again and again, pausing momentarily.
* Dias breaks off as it explodes, moving towards another one.
<Alicia> <Terra> *moves to take on the next fighter*
<DeathStar> 6* Four enemy fighters fly in behind Xanatos, locking onto him, and launching black blobs.
* Seraphna resyncs and increases teh rate of fire from the cannons as the nuke hits.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Vessels' right tendril launches, despite not being in optimal range.
* Xanatos spins his ship, falling off to the left, he taps his breaks to nose dive away.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Hell. Brace and roll, brace and roll!
<Dias> 6Chad braces himself.
* Seraphna braces herself.
<Xanatos> <Comm> Hostile on my 6, Dias.
<DeathStar> 6* As the PAX tries to turn, the tendril smashes into the engine area, causing the entrie ship to shake. The shields do nothing. A monitor drops down near John.

<DeathStar> 6* Warren slams into a railing, grasping.
<Dias> <C> Understood. 6Dias grabs the controls and flips up and around, firing into the midst of them.
<DeathStar> <Pope> Lets help that Durran, Terra.
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "John, are you alright?"
<Seraphna> "...Engines hit sir! Sealing off the hull!"
<DeathStar> 6* Pope breaks off to aid Dias and Xanatos.
<Dias> 6Chad slams hard, falling down to his knees.
<Alicia> <Terra> "Roger."
<DeathStar> <John> Fine.
<Alicia> <Terra> *follows Pope*
<DeathStar> 6 *Erevis steadies herself.
* Xanatos repositions himself to come back in to fire onto the scattering ships, hoping he can hit the same one Dias was going for.
<DeathStar> 6* The DArk One then fires at them, hitting their main section and weapons.
* Ariel has quit IRC (Ping timeout)
<DeathStar> 6* The entire vessel shakes again.
<DeathStar> 6* John winces as sparks fly.
<DeathStar> 6* Pope and Terra and Dias manage to scatter the enemy.
<Seraphna> "...We're taking heavy damage!"
<Dias> <Chad> 6Braces himself again. "They're copying us...
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "Then lets do something new."
<DeathStar> <Warren> Sera, use the teleporting nuke technique that Cassandra made. Drop them behind the enemy, then launch them at their back. Then have PAX Fire a their front.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Lets pinch hit them.
<Alicia> <Hotaru> *nods to Warren* "Like that."
* Dias flies by Pope and Terra, spinning.

* Seraphna quickly zooms her fingers over her controls, calling for the teleporters.
<DeathStar> 6* ERevis clears some consoles of glass.
<DeathStar> <John> Lets hope Myria can handle it.
<Seraphna> "...Everything is set sir." *resyncs what's left of the guns*
* Ariel moves to monitor the sensors. She's curious about her enemy... still more of a soldier than a diplomat.
<DeathStar> 6* The enemy begins to reteat, momentarily, back to their main vessel.

<Cassandra`> <Myria> *comm* I'm ready for action!
* Dias fires at a retreating one.
<Seraphna> "...FIRING NOW!"
* Xanatos attempts to move back around and gain his bearings, moving up to Dias and the others. "They are retreating back to their main vessel? Should we pursue?" He asks the bridge.
<Cassandra`> 6* Myria beams the nukes
<DeathStar> <Pope> Ai...we lost 10 ships again.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> *likewise moves to monitor*
<DeathStar> <Warren on Comm> Negative.
* Seraphna fires all guns in the correct timing.
* Dias spins upwards, moving back to the others.
<DeathStar> 6* The nukes appear behind the ship, then flies in at their back. The Dark Vessel shudders, then stops moving.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Pinch attack has worked.
* Xanatos frowns. "Understood, sir." He circles back around so he can keep a guard on the PAX.
* Seraphna concentrates the fire.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren stands there, as the sounds of alarms creak.
<DeathStar> 6* The weapons begin to overheat from the damage.
<Alicia> <Terra> *watches for any sign of movement from the enemy*
* Seraphna cuts them off before they reach critical levels.
<DeathStar> 6* Nothing happens. It appears they just float out there, much like PAX now.
<Seraphna> "...Weapons are overheating sir, I have to halt fire."
<DeathStar> <Warren> Understood.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It seems we hurt them. They are not engaging.
<Dias> They're recovering than.
<Dias> NRP: Chad
<Alicia> <Kyouki> Hopefully, so are we.
<Seraphna> "...Strike while they're turtling?"
<DeathStar> <Warren> No. I don't like this.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren eyes the map of the area.
<Dias> <Chad> Or we jump.
<DeathStar> <Pilot> Our engines are damaged. We cna't jump until repairs are finished.

<Seraphna> "...He's right, we're stuck sir."
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, 5 more Dark Vessels appear, in a circular pattern.

* Xanatos continues to be on alert, when spotting the Dark Vessels his mouth drops open.

* Xanatos swerves his fighter away from some of the debri coming off of the PAX. "Dear god..."

<Alicia> <Kyouki> ... looks like I won't get to challenge you after all, Ariel.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Recall fighters. Now.

* Dias grumbles and jerks around, heading back to the PAX
* Xanatos glances. "We have our orders." He circles his fighter around, moving back towards the hanger.

<DeathStar> 6* Warren leans against the railing. It appears they cannot win.

<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Vessels begin to come come in closer, preparing the tendrils.

<DeathStar> <Warren> ... 6He moves over to the pilot. "Prepare the Light Drive."

* Dias flies into the hanger, landing.

<Xanatos> They're just going to try to board us now. *he assumes, as he lands in the hanger*
<DeathStar> <Warren> We aren't going to use the starcharts. One way. Just one way.
<Seraphna> "...THere's a chance we'll make it, but it's better then our chances here."
<Cassandra`> Security, we're surrounded and dead in the water! Be prepared to repel boarders if they don't crush us first!

* Dias quickly climbs out of the fighter.

* Xanatos rubs his face, shaking his head. He pulls himself up and out of his fighter. "This is insane."

<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Vessels' launch their trendrils.

<Alicia> <Hotaru> A desperate gamble indeed.

* Seraphna routes the power and nods to the pilot.

<DeathStar> 6* The pilot hits the button. The PAX shudders, then vanishes.
<DeathStar> 6* Everything threatens to go white and pass them out like before, but it doesn't happen. They reappear in pure darkness, with only one source of light
<DeathStar> 6* A huge yellow sun, with a planet and a moon circling it.
<Seraphna> "....Are we alive?"
<DeathStar> 6* The planet appears to be pure desert.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> Looks like it...
<DeathStar> 6* John shakes his head. "Yeah, it seems so."
<Seraphna> "...Easy money then..."
<Dias> Chad eyes their location.

* Seraphna sits back, closing her eyes a moment.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Scan the planet. 6He notes, noting the universe here seems dead.

* Xanatos makes a face, looking around. "That wasn't...the light drive was it?" He glances around at the other pilots.

* Ariel looks to see that no one is harmed.

* Dias looks down at the rainforest floor, eyeing it oddly. 1"Is it going to eat us for walking on it?

* Dias let's out a huge sigh of relief.
<DeathStar> 6* A plant trips Dias.
* Dias slams face forest into the ground.
<DeathStar> <John> This reality is so weird.

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis stares at Dias.
* Dias groans and pushes himself up, eyeing the plant angerily
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "Somehow, I feel at home, though."
<DeathStar> 6* There is so movement in the forest near them. Darien tilts his head in the direction.
* Xanatos just glances in that direction, tense.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "I wonder, what was I like in...?" *pauses, glancing to the movement*
<DeathStar> <Darien> Ah, some of the natives. 6He pauses, then calls out, speaking in a language that sounds familiar to them, but cannot be understood. There is a response, and the movements grows fainter.
* Dias pauses, looking at everyone glancing at the movement. 1"What? What's going on?
<DeathStar> <Darien> They are going to prepare for you all now.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "What was that language?"

* Ariel frowns slightly, but tries to hide it. It's hard, hearing Darien talking as if he's not one of them.

* Seraphna signs to Darien, "You're from this reality?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Anyway, part of the culture here is that you have to wear only the clothes provided by Fyro. So, you'll have to forgive the native garments they will be bringing. I know...it holds some uncomfortable memories for some.

<DeathStar> 6* As they approach the village, they can see the natives, all with healthy tans and looks of native innocence about htem. And Darien was right, some of the females are topless. A nice fire is going and they are apparantly dancing adn preparing a feast.
* Dias turns to move still staring at Kyouki again and walks into a tree. 1"ooof""

<DeathStar> 6* Darien walks up, talking to one of the natives. They smile and nod, moving over, offering necklaces and flowers to the team.
* Xanatos moves his eyes to each and every person, silently evaluating them.

* Seraphna takes a flower, smiling softly
* Dias sniffs the flower, slowly placing it in his mouth to taste it.
* Xanatos nods with a smile and places the necklace around his neck, he moves over to Darien. "Celebration for what?" He sits down.
<DeathStar> <Darien> It is to give thanks for another year alive. Since the end of days is coming. In a prophecy they speak of. This is a celebration of Truth. Basicaly, they each tell each other the truth, vent their auras, clear their air, and by doing so, become stronger.
<Cassandra`> Thank you.

<DeathStar> <Darien> They hold Truth above all else, even if it hurts to hear. Because, you never know when you will get to tell someone how you truly feel.

* Dias eyes the food and moves over to it, grabing some. He looks up, looking over at John. 1"Yo."

<DeathStar> <Darien> I guess it's fate we meet again during this sort of celebration. I hear you've had a hard year.
* Seraphna watches them, hugging a bit tightly onto Xan

* Seraphna sits on her own, taking a bite of food, watching.

<Ariel> Setsuna> "It's alien to me too... but... there's a sort of peace here, isn't there? Like the whole world has given up all it's regrets."
<Xanatos> I know I said I would never apologise for my actions but well, I do want to apologise to you, one last time from the heart. The things I said...I...I never meant them. I let my anger get the best of me.

But, I can only do what I know how to do. Maybe after Wind, I don't know. I can't make promises, and I don't want to dangle happiness at the end of the road when we might not have it."

There's hardly any head room here, and in the middle is a sword driven into the ground. The Rune Blade, used by Dom long ago, with empty spaces it in matching the number of Runes. Darien stares, not comprehending why this is here.

* Dias scratches his head as he tries to make sense of what's going on

<DeathStar> <Fyro> This memory is passed down from reality to reality. But since I'm the only sentient planet left, only I know it.
<Dias> There a lot of sentient planets?

<DeathStar> <Fyro> The first reality ever was occupied by a race called the Progneitors.
<DeathStar> <Fyro> They were highly advanced race with amazing ability. They wished to know how they came to be, so they researched creation.
<DeathStar> <Fyro> And in doing so, learned how to create new realities.
<DeathStar> <Fyro> To keep track, they dubbed theirs Prime. Go figure.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "The prime reality..."
<DeathStar> <Fyro> However, with the ability to play God, came the ablity to be cruel. So, born from the Progneitors actions are what you call Dark Ones. Their desire was to rule the realities and control a multiverse. The Progneitors merely wanted to perserve them.
<DeathStar> <Fyro> So, your typical battle of Good vs. EVil began.
<DeathStar> <Fyro> Well, THE first battle of Good and Evil.
<DeathStar> <Fyro> So, it spread from reality to reality, these two sides attempting to gain a balance. And it continued for eons.
<DeathStar> <Fyro> Eventually, the Progneitors began to grow thin, and the Dark Ones grew. So, the Progneitors created Centerpoint, a place they could put a guardian to observe the realities, and then they used their influence there to stop the Dark Ones infleunce by creating weapons to stop evil from growing too much. Theos.

<DeathStar> <Fyro> And the Dark Ones made Atheos.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I heard a bit this.
<DeathStar> <Fyro> And so this continued, ages after ages, until one day, one reality stood out above all others. This one I'm in. Through blind luck, a little group blew up EVERY reality
<DeathStar> <Fyro> And so, the PRogneitors and Dark Ones' game cameto an end.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "Wow, pretty impressive. Who were they?"
<DeathStar> <Fyro> Oh, a group led by Wind.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "Wind again... I wasn't involved, was I?"
<DeathStar> <Fyro> And yoru conterparts in thi s reality
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "Or.. was I already dead by then...?"
<DeathStar> <Fyro> So, the Dark Ones decided, since they had no more influence left, to use this to their advantage and beat the Progneitors for good.
<DeathStar> <Fyro> They unleashed Theos and Atheos early, making the weapons think the reality had come to an end, by using a race of theirs called the Motenks.
<DeathStar> <Fyro> And so this universe would come to a bleak end. Such as it is now. But Wind decided to use the power of the Prime Reality to make a new one. Yours.
<DeathStar> <Fyro> Giving the Dark Ones their chance to invade. However... the Progneitors stepped in and made the Erusians, their own weapons, to fight
<DeathStar> <Fyro> And so you go. You all are fighting the first evil ever.

<Dias> How...how do we beat them. 6He steps forward

* Dias frowns, crossing his arms

* Xanatos rubs the side of his face slowly. "My head hurts."
<DeathStar> <Fyro> Theos and Atheos are child's toys of the Progneitors and Dark Ones. You guys are facing something far worse.

<DeathStar> 6* Then appear in the forest. Which is on fire.

* Dias spins around, trying to regain his sense of bearins
* Xanatos looks around quickly, grabbing his pistols.

<DeathStar> <Darien> We need to get to an old city that use to exist. We might find a ship there.

* Dias clenches his fists tightly.
<DeathStar> <Darien> But getting out of here will be hard.
<Xanatos> Lead the way Darien. I'll try to figure out these powers.
* Cassandra` locks and loads her guass rifle, selecting High Explosive charges.
* Seraphna moves close to Xan, weapons ready.
<Cassandra`> Then let me clear a path...what direction?

<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves through the flaming forest.
* Dias steps back, moving after Darien
* Cassandra` moves...ready to blow stuff up if needed!

* Xanatos moves after Darien as well.

<DeathStar> 6* A Dark Pet leaps out at Ariel.
* Seraphna follows, freeing a hand to sign, "We may need to do something."

* Seraphna reacts with twitch reflexes, a charged blast firing at the Dark Pet.

* Ariel pulls back, and stabs her plasma blade into the creature

* Xanatos makes a face. He stands there very still, trying to figure out how he is supposed to use his new gifts.

* Xanatos glances at Sera, just shaking his head.

* Ariel moves to Darien's side.
* Seraphna nods and sighs, keeping her weapons ready.

<Ariel> 6* Setsuna REALLY wishes she had her friend here.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "I think not." "*telekinetically lashes out at Desaeus angrily*
* Dias growls, his lip twitching

* Dias reaches down and grabs a burning branch. He hops several steps forward and swings it at Desaeus' head

* Xanatos grimaces, falling down to a knee.

* Dias moves over to Darien and grabs the rune, moving to slap it on his hand

* Ariel brings her blade down low, scraping it against the ground, before bring it up in a mighty swing. Sending the wave of plasma arcing towards Desaeus.
<DeathStar> 6* Deseaus is stabbed by Michiru, then hit by ARiel. He flies along the ground
* Seraphna fires two charged shots in succession down Daseaus' flight path.
* Dias clenches his fist as it sticks. 1"Good." He turns eyeing Desaeus

<Xanatos> She's Erevis' daughter from the future. *he says like it is simple, pulling himself up to his feet*
* Cassandra` fires a charged shot at the point where Deseaus is going to land.
<Ariel> "Darien! Pass that here!"
<DeathStar> 6* Desaeus stands, taking the hsot.
* Dias growls and punches the ground hard, causing a shockwave to fly in a pathway towards Desaeus. As it reaches him the ground erupts outwards into him.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> *tries to slam Deseaus into the ground, then hold him in place*
<DeathStar> 6* Desaeus is knocked into the air.
* Ariel missed Dias get the rune. Oh well.

* Dias blinks and looks at his hand. 1"Sweet!"

<DeathStar> 6* Deaseus launches another tendril at Cass.
* Xanatos makes a face and moves forward, releasing a volley of normal shots at Desaeus.
<Alicia> <Michiru> *cuts at the tentacle, then moves to stab Desaeus' body*
* Seraphna moves forward, firing at Cass' tendril
<Dias> 6The ground pulsates again beneath Deseaus and several spike erupts out of the ground towards him to impale him.
* Cassandra` rolls to the side.
<DeathStar> 6* Desaeus is impaled. Then shot by Xan.
<Xanatos> Grenade! *he calls to Serena*
* Ariel darts forward, pulling the runeblade from her back to slash at Desaeus.

* Seraphna grins, leaping back as one rolls right under Desaeus
* Cassandra` switches to a light micro-missile launcher and then lets Desaeus have a swarm.

<Seraphna> *THe grenade makes a lovely BOOM.
<DeathStar> 6* Deseaus is then bombarded, vanishing in smoke.

* Dias coughs as he struggles to push himself up.

* Seraphna sees if Ariel needs help moving. SHe backs away and nods.
<DeathStar> <Darien> He might be getting reinforcements. We need to run.
<Cassandra`> The guy is practically immortal...so if he's running...then that's good! We need to run too!
* Xanatos nods and slides over to Dias. "You alright?"

<DeathStar> 6* Darien puts a hand on Ariel's shoulder, nodding once.
* Dias pushes himself up fully, smoke rising off him. 1"Who the hell threw that grenade?" He grumbles as he tries to recover

<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns to escape the burning forest.
<Ariel> Setsuna> "Take a guess?"
<Alicia> <Michiru> *goes back to normal. Hyperspace is exhausting*
* Cassandra` nods and starts running!
* Dias stumbles after the others.
<Alicia> <Michiru> *then rushes after!*
* Ariel exits stage left.
<Xanatos> A misunderstanding. *he says, patting him on the back and begins to run off*
<Alicia> <Kyouki> *sticks with Ariel*
* Seraphna sticks with Xan.
<Dias> A misunderstanding that almost killed me, hadn't I been buried under the ground by that jackass...
<DeathStar> 6* And so, after running, they escape the burning forest. They stand a good distance away watching it burn
<DeathStar> 6* Darien breathes hard, watching it burn.
<Cassandra`> We need to get to this city...
* Xanatos wipes away from sweat, shaking his head. He doubles over, gasping for breath.
* Seraphna blinks, rushing to Xan
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yes. 6He watches it burn. "And so the life on this planet comes to an end in a whimper."
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "Nice to know we can fight those things though..."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien glances at Ariel.
<Cassandra`> Darien...which way...?
<Xanatos> I'm getting old. *he says with a small smirk, standing upright*
* Ariel bows her head a moment.
* Seraphna helps him up, shaking her head.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods into the distance. "That way. It'll be a long journey. But, if we keep it up...maybe we'll find something we can use."
<Cassandra`> Let's not delay it then.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "... lets go."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods, letting them run on ahead. He glances back one last time.
* Ariel rests a hand on Darien's shoulder and nods.
* Xanatos frowns. "John...Erevis..." he mumbles so no one else will hear. He tightens his fists and then turns moving off with Sera.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "... Ariel... thanks."
* Ariel looks to Kyouki, "...what for?"
* Cassandra` starts moving...
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods to Ariel once.
* Seraphna looks back over her shoulder, trying to hold back tears.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "For caring."
* Ariel smiles slightly, and starts onward.
<Cassandra`> ...my internal log has it all recorded...the people who lived here..John's sacrifice...the battle with Wind and that Dark One...
<DeathStar> <Darien> We'll make them pay later.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns and hurries on
