<DeathStar> 6* Darien sits in the Captain's ready room, behind Warren's desk, wearing a uniform that doesn't yet have General insignias created for it yet. He glances at some paper.

* Seraphna steps onto the bridge in uniform, looking about quietly.
<Cassandra`> Oh...Warren buffed out the scratch...
<DeathStar> <Darien> Hmmm? 6He glances up blankly.
* Chad`Winters glances at Cassandra, his eyes narrowing slightly
<Cassandra`> Oh, there was a scratch on the desktop when I sat behind it last.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl sits in the bar, her head on the bar, her uniform a mess, and tons of empty bottles around her. She's plastered worse than she ever was before she went sober.
* Xanatos stands in he hanger, leaning against a fighter, arms crossed as he stares out into space.
* Terra is likewise at the bar, drinking
<DeathStar> <Darien> I ... see.
* Seraphna sees no one directly on the bridge besides the background crew and walks across it, looking out at the stars.
<DeathStar> 6* Pope buffs a starfighter.
<Xanatos> *Marcus is drinking as well, not because the death of Darien bothered him, but because he wanted the company.
<Cassandra`> What? *looks at Chad*
<Terra> <Hotaru> *wanders onto the bridge*
<Seraphna> <Hey sis...>
<Terra> <Hotaru> <Hey...>
* Seraphna keeps looking at the stars
<Seraphna> <It's gotten... quiet all over the ship...>
<DeathStar> <Darien> Lets get this meeting starting. We have a busy day today.
* Chad`Winters grunts and turns to look at Darien
<Cassandra`> Yes, sir.
* Xanatos glances over at Pope, then returns his gaze to the stars. "Sometimes I wish I could just jack a plane and fly out there as far as possible." He says aloud.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'm going to take command of the ship. 6He says upfront, leaning back. "But the fact is I'm over a year behind on it's operations and our enemy. Carmichael had tons of notes, and I plan to study to them, but that'll take time. So, I think we should shift the command structure some.
<DeathStar> <Pope> Go ahead. Take the junker.
<Seraphna> <Do you think it's going to turn out alright?>
<Xanatos> Oh you'd offer me your own ship? You're such a pal.
<Terra> <Hotaru> <Yeah... in time...>
<DeathStar> <Darien> Cassandra, the crew knows you face best and you were Captain for a time. I'd like you to manage the ship's affairs, the crew, supplies, morale, the civilians, it's all under you. Just basicaly keep the ship running in the fashion it's accustomed to. You know it better than me.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias ruffles the top of his hair as he steps into the bar. He moves across it and sits down beside Cheryl.
<Seraphna> <...Is he really dead...?>
<Terra> <Hotaru> *says nothing, just watching the stars*
<Cassandra`> Yes, sir.
* Seraphna moves over closer to her and looks back out at the stars as well.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Chad, I want you to my War Advisor and Battle Strategist. You know the enemy better than me, you've been designing weapons to fight them. I want you to continue, draw up war scenarios, better our equipment, and advise me on what this ship can and cannot do against them and what they can or cannot do against us. I'll give Sera the Chief Mechanic spot back, as this job will be full time.
<Chad`Winters> Understood.
* Xanatos rubs his chin after a moment and then presses off of the ship, turning and moving to leave the hangar.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl doesn't even acknowledge him, except for her hand to slip out to grab another bottle.
<Seraphna> <It's a little unreal... I was only gone a few days and it's all changed so much...>
<DeathStar> 6* Pope raises a finger at Xan's back.
<Seraphna> <Well... gone in my own perception.>
<Terra> <Hotaru> <... yeah...>
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias slides his hand over, grabbing the bottle before she can get it. He pulls it upto his lips and finishes it off.
<Terra> <Kyouki> *heads to the garden, shaking*
<DeathStar> <Darien> Now that we have that settled, lets talk about Carmichael.
* Xanatos just throws a hand up whenever Pope's finger raises, he does technically have an eye in the back of his head.
<Chad`Winters> NRP: *Xanatos can see behind him?!
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl pauses momentarily, then waves the bartender to give her another. Her hand plops down as she waits.
<Seraphna> *Airier stands in the training room, looking over some practice gear
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> I think you're done for now Cheryl.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Goaway.
<Xanatos> *Marcus takes another swig. "So why we all here drinking?" he asks Terra.
* Xanatos rounds a corner and moves along the hallways.
<Seraphna> NRP: Bionic eyes can prolly go a 360, and with things like heat sensory, yeah he prolly can.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I've examined the crime scene thoroughly. Warren shot himself. But I think he had a helping hand. About an hour before his time of death, Erevis saw him alone for about 15 mins.
<Xanatos> NRP: I wasn't going to give him the liberty of an explanation. :P
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis stands in the civilian sector, watching humans pass by
<Terra> "Because we want to."
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> No. 6He moves his arms onto the bar and cups his hands together, his head hanging low.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl grabs the refill, the bartender shrugging at Dias.
<Cassandra`> I have the security recordings locked down in the system as well as secured in multiple hard copies.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Sounds like a good reason to me. *he glances over at Cheryl and Dias* What's wrong with them?
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Give her another beer and I'll knock your head senseless. 6He doesn't even look up.
* Xanatos steps into the garden, he tilts his head at Kyouki, stepping towards her. "You ok?"
<Terra> <Kyouki> "No."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Good. Rumor has leaked out about his death, but so far people think it's accidental. I don't want them to knwo about the suicide, or the fact we probably have a murderer.
<Xanatos> What's wrong?
<DeathStar> <Bartender> She's scarier than you, man
<Seraphna> <So... breaking the awkward silence, I hear you and Lukutus danced.>
<Terra> <Kyouki> "I cannot say."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl pulls her head up, her eyes bloodshot, then begins to drink the beer.
<Terra> <Hotaru> <Yeah.. I guess.>
* Chad`Winters shifts his weight, listening
<DeathStar> <Darien> In the hour, Peacemaker should finish the autopsy. If there's evidence of psionic tampering, I'm bringing Erevis in.
<Seraphna> <You guess? He won't stop talking about you when he's alone. Or thinks he is anyways.>
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Than she can take it out on me.
<Terra> <Hotaru> <He really is smitten, then..>
* Xanatos tilts his head back, eyeing Kyouki carefully. "You're shaking..." he pauses and rubs his chin. "You haven't been doind any...snooping in people minds have you?"
<Terra> <Kyouki> "Would you like me to?"
<Seraphna> <It's cute, he tends to get really obsessed over things he likes, yeah, he's smitten.>
<Cassandra`> He shot himself in the head...would enough of the front lobes be intact to make that determination?
<DeathStar> <Darien> I hope so. I hope our killer fucked up enough.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stands up. "I'll contact you both when I get the results."
<Chad`Winters> I doubt we'll have that luxury.
<Cassandra`> And in the mean time, we attend to day to day duties?
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl finishes the bottle, slapping it down. She waves at the bartender, who eyes her, then Dias, then her.
<Xanatos> Not like you'd find anything in this ol thing. *he rubs his chin* Seriously. Is there anything I can do to help you?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yes. Since the crew is expecting word on this, I've scheduled the funeral for later today. Best get a public spin on this soon.
<Terra> <Kyouki> "I.. don't think so..."
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Cheryl, you're done.
<Cassandra`> Do you have an official story yet?
<DeathStar> <Darien> I don't.
* Xanatos nods his head once. "You know...I can't help but feel this is about Erevis...being as how you are strongly connected to her. Would I be wrong?"
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> *snorts* Give me that beer, or I'll get it myself. 6She threatens in slurred words. The bartender grabs another botlte.
<Xanatos> *Marcus just frowns, "I guess something happened that I don't know about then."
<Cassandra`> We'll need to make sure everyone's accounts are coordinated.
<Terra> <Kyouki> "It's not."
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias stands up, slamming his hand on the table. 1"Cheryl, you're leaving now.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I agree. I'll leave that to you.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'm going down to the infirmary to speak with Peace. 6He steps out int othe bridge.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> No.
<Chad`Winters> If we're going to do this, than we need a heroic reason for his death
* Xanatos nods his head once again. "Very well." He places a hand on her shoulder. "I'll be around if you need my help." He steps back and then turns to go.
* Seraphna turns to see Darien
* Seraphna gives him a very weak smile.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis crosses her arms behind her, watching some kids pass by her. She watches them.
<Cassandra`> It still needs to be viable.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Fine, the hard way then. 6He steps forward grabs her in a hug.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> ...! Let go! 6She shoves at him.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> This isn't going to end well...
<Terra> *worriedly* "Cheryl..."
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> No, I won't stop hugging until you either sober up or you come with me.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> ... 6She tightens her hand into a fist, as if she's debating taking out her anger on him, but then she just slumps against him, not moving.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien just moves into the elevator.
* Xanatos steps out of the garden, glancing back at Kyouki before he moves off, making his way down the hallway.
<Chad`Winters> He had a nervous breakdown, coupled with the surgery he had done on his legs to remove the pain caused severe depression episodes.
* Xanatos steps up and presses the elevator button, deciding to be lazy and take it down to the civillian section instead of the stairs as usual.
<Chad`Winters> ...No...Not good enough.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Come on...6He moves to stand her up.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Justgoaway.
<Xanatos> *Marcus glances at Dias, "Would you like some help?"
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias just eyes Marcus dangerously.
<Cassandra`> Not at all...
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Fine, just trying to be nice. *he shakes his head and returns to his beer*
* Chad`Winters lowers his head as he thinks

<Chad`Winters> <Dias> This isn't going to bring him back...This isn't going to bring anyone back....6He hangs his head, his body slumping slightly.
<Terra> <Peacemaker> "Hello Darien."
<DeathStar> 6* Dominick glances up as well, pushing his glasses up with a finger.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I justwannabe numb.
<Xanatos> I could knock you out. *he says as he steps into the bar*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods to them both. "Are you finished with the body?" <Dominick> Yes, we just finished.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> So do I Cheryl....
* Xanatos steps past Dias and Cheryl and orders a beer, taking it he pulls it up to his lips.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias turns, letting Go of Cheryl. He eyes Xanatos as if he's going to kill him.
<Cassandra`> I'm not sure how to work this...
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl sits back down on the stool
<DeathStar> <Darien> Did you find anything?
<Chad`Winters> We take the least likely to cause the most dangerous
<DeathStar> 6* Dominick motions to Peace to answer.
<Chad`Winters> NRP: damage
<Terra> <Peacemaker> "Yes. Strong psionic tampering..."
* Xanatos eyes Dias, "I say something wrong?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods. "I assumed as much."
<DeathStar> <Dominick> Then I suspect you already have a suspect.
<Cassandra`> That will be a tall order. If we just flat out say he killed himself, the superstitious among the crew will get all worked up.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Very...I advise you get as far away from me as possible right now. 6He clenches his fists as if just waiting.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Hm.
<Terra> <Peacemaker> "Considering the number of psionics on the ship..."
<DeathStar> <Dominick> You could count them on one hand.
<Terra> <Peacemaker> "Exactly."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien listens to them chatter half-heartedly.
<DeathStar> <Dominick> This is disturbing.
<Xanatos> Hmmm. I was just offering some help. *he finishes his beer and places the empty bottle back on the bar* Since i'm no good with word, I figure that might be the only way I could help out.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl lays her head back down on the bar..
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> 1...
* Chad`Winters rubs the bridge of his nose as he thinks
<DeathStar> <Darien> Very well. Get the body ready for the service tonight. Closed casket. 6He turns to go.
<Terra> <Peacemaker> "I suppose the suspect is to remain a secret, then."
* Xanatos shakes his head. "Childish." He steps over to Cheryl and kneels in to talk to her. "I know it isn't much. But if you ever need my help for anything, don't hesitate to ask." He leans back up and turns to walk out of the bar.
<DeathStar> <Darien> It's being handled. 6He steps out.
<DeathStar> <Dominick> Hm. I wonder if it was Kyouki.
<Terra> <Peacemaker> "It's possible. She seems the obsessive type."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl just closes her eyes
* Seraphna checks her datapad, and sends a message to Xan
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances down toward Xanatos.
<Xanatos> *Marcus watches Xanatos leave and just shakes his head. "I can't stand that guy."
* Xanatos sees Erevis, he holds a hand up to wave at her, then pulls his other hand up to check the message.
<DeathStar> 6 *Darien grabs his comm. "Chad. Cassandra. Psionic tampering. I want Erevis brought into interrogation. Chad, with me. Get Xanatos Durran, too."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grabs a datapad, getting a map of the ship to find the interrogation rooms.
<Cassandra`> *comm* Yes, sir. I'll get Erevis.
<Chad`Winters> No one has to know it was suicide. Warren died of a heart attack caused by a clot forming in his leg. Because of his surgery on his lower body it led to complications of Warren feeling it until it was too late.
<Chad`Winters> <Comm> Understood sir.
* Xanatos frowns and returns the message, he steps forward towards Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Dominick pushes his glasses up. "Well, I should go see my patients." 6He steps out.
<Terra> <Peacemaker> "Very well."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis offers Xanatos a half smile.
* Cassandra` leaves the ready room in a hurry.
<Chad`Winters> We do a closed casket ceremony and no one will know the wiser
<Xanatos> Only a half smile? I guess I haven't reached full smile status, yet.
* Chad`Winters eyes Cass then scratches his neck and turns, leaving after her
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I suppose I have much on my mind. 6She glances out at the various places. "I regret I did not take time to enjoy the things Warren Carmichael had built."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr cuts Chad off. "Do you have news?" 6Her hair is done up in a bun.
<Xanatos> You talk as if you will be leaving soon.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis just inclines her head slightly. "I do sound that way, it seems."
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias grabs his chair and slides it closer to Cheryl's, he then just rests on the top beside her.
* Cassandra` checks her datapad, trying to locate Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* The datapad reveals she's in the civilian sector - main "street"
* Chad`Winters stops, looking at Zephyr. 1"I'm meeting up with Darien right now to discuss it.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Who did it? 6She notes sternly.
<Chad`Winters> We're not sure yet. That's what we plan on finding out.
* Xanatos rubs his chin. "Do you know who did it?" He asks bluntly, glancing at her.
* Cassandra` heads for "main street"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Who did it? 6She looks at Xanatos blankly, then realization. "No."
<Xanatos> And it wasn't you? *he asks, not accusingly, just wants to hear her input*
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr walks along. "I want in on this."
<DeathStar> 6 *Erevis closes her eyes. "You had to ask."
<Chad`Winters> You're judgement and actions are going to be clouded by your emotions Zephyr.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Like hell. I need this, Chad.
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra comes into view of the two.
<Xanatos> I have to know. There are three people that I know of that could do it. And I don't want any of the three to be the ones who did.
<Chad`Winters> So do I, Zephyr...I just don't want you doing something dumb out of anger.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis opens her eyes, glancing toward CAssandra.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Do I look angry? 6She notes cooly. "I want justice."
* Chad`Winters glances at her then just nods.
* Xanatos glances at Cass and frowns. "...please answer me before she gets here."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I keep waiting for it all to be a joke. 6She mumbles.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> I keep expecting him to jump out and knock me upside the head.
* Cassandra` approaches them
<DeathStar> 6 *Erevis looks a bit sad. "I did not kill Warren Carmichael." 6She turns away from Xan.
* Xanatos nods his head. "Then I'll stand by you."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> But you thought there was a possibility I did it. 6She shakes her head. "No, I'll stand alone." 6She walks to Cassandra.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr and Chad reach the interrogation room. Darien is already setting up.
<Cassandra`> I need you both to come with me.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias moves his hand and rests it ontop of Cheryl's hand patting it.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I understand.
* Xanatos steps forward, placing his hands on Erevis' shoulder. He opens his mouth then stops and glances at Cass. "Why me?" He moves his hand from her shoudler while asking,
* Seraphna pokes Hotaru, <Still thinking? Or would you like to do somethign and get your mind off this?>
* Chad`Winters steps in then nods to Darien.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> You've changed. 6She notes, slurred a bit, but her eyes look a bit more focused.
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... Zephyr? 6He notes.
<Terra> <Hotaru> <Something, anything...>
<Chad`Winters> She's fine.
<Cassandra`> I just have my orders. Come on. *nods in a direction*
<DeathStar> <Darien> Alright.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis walks along.
* Xanatos glances at Erevis and then begins to walk along with her.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Sometimes we're forced to change...6He notes sadly
<Xanatos> *Marcus looks at Terra, then stands, paying for his drinks he turns and then steps out.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl watches Marcus go.
* Cassandra` leads them to the interrogation rooms...
* Terra stays quiet, watching Cheryl worriedly
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I'm going to go to the bathroom. 6She stands up and walks to the girl's room.
<Seraphna> <Let's go chekc on Em and Michi?>
<Xanatos> *Marcus steps out and moves away from the civillian area, a bit of a drag in his step from the alcohol.
* Terra nods
<Terra> <Hotaru> <Sure...>
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> Need a hand? 6He asks, but the look on his face doesn't carry it
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks up as Cassandra arrives with Xan and Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl just waves a half-hearted dismissal wave
* Xanatos crosses his arms, looking from Chad to Zephyr, then to Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr looks at Erevis, then at Chad.
* Chad`Winters rests his hand on Zephyr's shoulder.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Cass, take her to the B side of the room. 6He nods on the other side of the glass.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Then come back.
* Seraphna smiles and takes her hand, leading her back down to the Hota / Em residence.
<Cassandra`> This way. *leads her to the B side*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis walks along, stepping inside and sitting down at the table.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> EREVIS?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes ERevis through the one way mirror.
* Xanatos stares at Darien. "I don't believe she did it."
<DeathStar> <Darien> And why do you think that?
* Chad`Winters gives Zephyr a light squeeze on her shoulder and takes his hand off, crossing his arms again as he stares through the one-way glass.
<Xanatos> Warren was one of the people that Erevis respected. On top of that, she also has strong ties to the dragoon family, so I don't see her being guilty of this.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr looks stunned.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I see her as being in the perfect position to kill him and for people to think just that.
* Seraphna stops at the door and smiles to her, <Come on, let's not get overly sad, you know niether of them would approve of that.>
<Chad`Winters> There was distinct change in her personality when we picked her up.
<DeathStar> <Darien> She was clearly working with Wind.
<Terra> <Hotaru> <I'm trying..>
<Xanatos> She was clearly trying to survive.
<DeathStar> <Darien> She told Wind that Zephyr was about to shoot him. He faked that fall.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr stares.
<Xanatos> You think so? You don't believe Zephyr was that good?
<DeathStar> <Darien> No offensive, but I watched Hotaru in her mech form barely phase Wind. I can't believe a beam cannon could get him that good.
<Chad`Winters> Agreed.
* Seraphna sighs and gets the door open, leading her in, not used to being the stronger one here.
<Terra> <Hotaru> *heads in, smiling weakly*
<DeathStar> <Darien> Second, Wind should have disposed of Erevis in mere minutes, and come after us. Yet he patiently waited for us to come get her.
<Chad`Winters> He wanted us to have her back.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yes.
* Xanatos glances up at the ceiling. "And how do you know that it couldn't have been one of the other psionics? Or maybe even a psionic that isn't registered in our records?"
<Chad`Winters> He went through the trouble of taking her, then just gave her back no problem.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr stares, slowly filling in the blanks the two are making.
* Seraphna looks around for the others.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I don't believe in conincidence.
<Xanatos> Maybe you should start.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I think she did it. She's hiding something from us.
<Chad`Winters> Xanatos, use your head for once. No one on this ship could've set her up without 1st hand knowledge of what happened on that planet.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> ...
<DeathStar> 6* Dominick passes Sera on his way doing rounds.
<Xanatos> I"m using my head. We don't have any real proof that ERevis was the one that did it. Just accusations. And last I checked, that wasn't enough
* Seraphna blinks, looking at Dom, waving a little.
<Chad`Winters> She was the last person to see him Xanatos. No one else.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Very well. A psionic triggered Warren's death. Erevis was the last to see him.
* Seraphna must still be just outside Hota's room. <.<;
<DeathStar> <Darien> Are you defending her simply because you're in love with her? 6He asks neutrally, not angry or upset.
<Terra> <Michiru> *looks over* "Is something wrong?"
<Xanatos> My feelings for her do not affect my opinion.
* Seraphna looks back inside and blushes, grabbing her comms to make things easier, "...No, Hota's just in need of company."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Really. I think feelings affect everyone's opinion.
<DeathStar> 6* Dominick studies Michi and Sera, then moves for the garden.
<Seraphna> "...Make Hota relax a little... I'll be right back."
<Terra> <Kyouki> *is still in the garden, trying to relax*
<Xanatos> Hmph, my feelings cause me to do stupid things. Just take a look at my past. So for once i'm setting them aside and just thinking this through. I know it looks like she is guilty, but I just feel we're overlooking something.
* Seraphna leaves Hota's place for the Garden, after Dom.
<DeathStar> 6* Dominick pauses, glancing back behind him at Sera. "Something I can elp you with?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Fair enough.
* Seraphna nods and puts her comms away. Signing, "Why have you been distancing yourself from me?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Chad and I will talk to her first.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stands up and moves out. Zephyr glances at Xan and Cass.
* Chad`Winters moves out after him.
* Cassandra` let's out a breath.

* Seraphna looks about, she tries to spot her niece.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya, despite being less than a year old, is playing with blocks. And building things.
<Xanatos> Kinda hard to lie when you wont talk. *he notes*

* Seraphna kneels down and hugs Michi
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias wipes the tears from his eyes, sniffling. 1"I swear those flowers are everywhere."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr takes a deep breath, deciding she wants to be alone. She steps out.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'll find who killed Warren. 6He promises Ariel.
<Michiru> <Kyouki> *glances to Darien as she hears that, heading over*
* Xanatos lingers there, watching the caskets float out into space. He then turns and steps out.
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "Darien... I want to help."
<DeathStar> <Darien> I have it handled. 6He says simply. "More people running around won't solve anything."
* Chad`Winters lowers his head, his arms cupped before him
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "So there's nothing I can do?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'll let you know. 6He glances in the direction Erevis went, tapping his fingers on his arm.
* Xanatos steps into the bar.
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "... there's one other thing... but I guess it can wait."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis sits at the bar counter, holding a full drink in her hand, glancing down at it.
* Chad`Winters raises his head, moving over to Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien squeezes Ariel's shoulder once, turning to face Chad.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> You gonna be ok Cheryl?
* Xanatos moves over and sits down beside her. "I thought you hated alcohol."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Great. I'm just going to ... walk. 6She steps out drunkenly, knocking Pilot out of her way
* Seraphna helps lead Michi back to Em and Hota's place
<Chad`Winters> I think we need to look at this from a different angle Darien.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It seemed appropriate. 6She glances at it, considering it.
* Ariel` has quit IRC (Ping timeout)
<DeathStar> <Darien> What angle is that?
<Xanatos> Your speech was amazing. *he notes with a nod, getting a beer*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I only spoke the truth. 6She throws back the drink, making a face.
<Chad`Winters> Warren's. Follow him from the point of our return. See who was close to him upto the point of him entering his room.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I did.
<Chad`Winters> Then nothing.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Nothing.

<Michiru> <Hotaru> <Yeah.. it's tough, but we'll be fine.>
<Chad`Winters> 6Shiva turns, leaving.
<Chad`Winters> Than we have nothing.
<DeathStar> <Darien> We just have to nail our psionic killer, that's all.
* Xanatos glances at Erevis, a smile on his face, he then takes a drink of his beer. "How have you been?"
<Chad`Winters> It'll be hard since the killer is most likely unregistered.
<Seraphna> <I'll be by later, kay?>
* Seraphna steps out and sends out a message to Xan.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr enters the training room, forming Warren's handguns. She fires at the targets.
* Ariel sighs as she continues to stares. She heard Darien... but she couldn't find the words to say to that.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Not well. 6She answers honestly. She gets a refill, drinking it nad making a face. "This is disgusting."
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias steps out, heading down the hallways
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'll think of something. Get some rest, Chad. 6He pats him on the shoulder, turning to go.
* Chad`Winters looks at him and nods. 6He turns, leaving.
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "Do you have any way to detect psionics?"
* Xanatos nods his head, smiling at Erevis. He glances down at his datapad and then types out a message. He looks back at Erevis. "It grows on you." He admits.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shuffles off, not hearing Kyouki
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl stops by Warren's room, leaning against the wall
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I see. So you keep drinking it until you like it.
<Xanatos> That's pretty much how it happened for me. I can't say I love the taste...but at least for a few hours it helps take my mind off of things.

<DeathStar> <Erevis> I see. 6She gets a third refill, already typsy. "You can be very strange, Xanatos Durran."
* Xanatos tilts his head at Erevis. "And why is that?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Subjecting yourself to something you do not like so that you can like it.,
<DeathStar> 6* Dominick steps out near Sera. "Are you ready for your tea?"
<DeathStar> 6* Tom Plot stalks Kyouki
* Ariel has joined #taw
* Xanatos rubs his chin. "Yeah, I guess you're right." He pauses and takes another swig. "I was really worried about you." He notes, referring to being seperated on the planet.
* Seraphna looks at the time and nods, signing, 'I have a few, Xan will be claiming me after though.'
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Why?
<DeathStar> <Dominick> Oh, you have plans with Mr. Durran? I'll leave you to them, then. 6He turns to go.
<Michiru> <Kyouki> *glances to Tom Pilot* "Yes?"
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis drinks the third glass.
<DeathStar> <Tom Pilot> *looks at the wall* Hmmmm
* Xanatos shrugs. "Why can't I? You were in a dangerous situation. If I didn't worry about you..."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> If you didn't worry about me? 6She studies him.
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "... and suddenly the wall is more interesting."
* Seraphna puts a hand on his shoulder, "...We have time for tea."
<DeathStar> <Tom Pilot> Oh, oh hi! Hi. I was just...admiring the wall.
<Xanatos> Then that'd mean that I don't care. Which I clearly do.
<DeathStar> 6* Dominick holds up a hand ,smiling. "I don't want to impose."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis turns to face him. "But you have Serena Cran now."
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "Mmmhmmm."
<DeathStar> <Tom Pilot> So, um... ... I'm Tom Pilot. 6Holds out his hand.
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "Kyouki."
<Michiru> <Kyouki> *shakes Tom's hand*
* Seraphna puts a finger on her lips and wiggles a bit, "...How long could tea possibly take?"
<DeathStar> <Tom Pilot> Hi, Kyouki. Want to get a drink with me?
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "I guess?"
<DeathStar> <Dominick> When done properly, it's meant to take time. I'm old fashioned, I suppose.
<Xanatos> I know. And she is a really good person. But that doesn't mean I can't care for you too. *he pauses and rubs his chin* My feelings for you were first.
<DeathStar> <Tom Pilot> Greaaat! 6He hops up. "Then lets go. So, tell me all about yourself."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis studies him, almost coyly, if she was capable of such an emotion. She finishes her third glass. "Thank you for worrying about me."
* Seraphna hmms softly, and thinks, "...Well, if you really wanna spend that much time with little ol' me... how about brunch tomorrow? I'm supposed to see you about what happened on Earth anyways."
<Xanatos> You've been questioned too much, so i'm not even going to start. For now, we can just sit here and not enjoy our alcohol. He smiles and takes another drink.
<Xanatos> NRP: Errr * before he smiles.
<DeathStar> <Dominick> Then it's an appointment.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I find you grow on me, at times. 6She says softly.
<Xanatos> Like an annoying mole that you just can't get rid of? *he chuckles*
* Seraphna smiles and pecks his cheek softly, "...Good, I'll see you then."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Like this drink.
<DeathStar> 6* Dominick nods. "Good night." 6He turns and moves on, pulling out his datapad.
<Xanatos> Oh? So you like it now?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It becomes more tolerable.
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "Me? Well.. I'm not really that interesting.."
<Seraphna> "...Night."
* Xanatos nods his head. "See. I told you so."
* Seraphna yawns a bit and sends out a message to Xan, before heading back to Hota's place.
<DeathStar> <Tom Pilot> Alright, I'll talk about me. 6He rants about his life. It's a compelling and epic story.
* Ariel finally makes her way off... heading to get a drink to numb her senses.
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "Wow, that's amazing."
<DeathStar> <Tom Pilot> Thanks.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> *smiles a bit*
<Xanatos> A smile? Who'd of thought that just a little alcohol would make you smile, when I try and try and you never do. *he slumps, a frown on his face*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Self-pity does not suit you.
* Xanatos grins. "Yeah, I know."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps into a training room. He grabs a sword and activates it, then fights against a drone.
* Seraphna steps into Hota's place and checks on them.
* Ariel heads to the bar and orders something strong... not caring much about taste right now.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances toward Ariel, the smile slowly fading.
* Xanatos checks the message and then glances over at Ariel. He narrows his eyes. "Why is everyone drinking that isn't supposed to be drinking?"
<Michiru> <Hotaru> "Hey.."
<Michiru> <Kyouki> *heads to the bar with Tom*
<DeathStar> 6* Tom Pilot actually takes her to a strip club for drinks.
<Seraphna> <You all okay?" *takes a seat on the couch*
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "This is a strange bar you're taking me to..."
<DeathStar> 6* The bartender hands over rocket fuel.
<DeathStar> <Tom Pilot> It's got entertainment.
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "For you, at least."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances at Xanatos. "I suppose the moment suited her as well."
<DeathStar> <Tom Pilot> *blinks* You don't enjoy it?
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl sleeps outside in the hallway, right next to Warren's room
<Michiru> <Kyouki> *just says nothing to that*
* Ariel takes the drink with a nod, taking a rather large drink.
* Xanatos nods his head. "I guess so." He rubs his chin, eyeing Ariel. "Well I see where Cheryl gets it from."
<DeathStar> <Tom Pilot> ... well... um... we can go to...the burger placE?
<Michiru> <Kyouki> "I thought you were going to buy me a drink?"
<DeathStar> <Tom Pilot> Oh, right. 6Orders up some drinks.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis hestitates, like she wants to talk with Ariel, then glances away.
* Xanatos stands suddenly and rests a hand on Erevis' shoulder. "I'm going to call it a night, but I promise you, I'm doing everything in my power to find some proof that you are innocent." He then moves in and leans close, talking low. "You and Ariel are close, and i'm sure she could use someone to talk too."
* Ariel has quit IRC (Ping timeout)
<DeathStar> 6 *Erevis shakes her head. "I cannot."
* Ariel has joined #taw
<Xanatos> Why not?
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis just lowers her gaze.
<DeathStar> 6* Pilot hands a drink to Kyouki. "Cheers."
<Michiru> <Kyouki> *drinks*
<DeathStar> 6* The bartender watches Ariel with fascination.
* Ariel looks at the bartender silently
* Xanatos tightens his grip on her shoulder gently. "Erevis, no matter what happened, you are still you. I know you seem ashamed of something, and i'll never ask you what that is, but you can't shut yourself off from everyone. We all care about you, and we all are your friends. You said we gain our strength by our bonds and relationships. You are no exception to that."
<DeathStar> <Bartender> Um, refill?
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis nods once. "Good night, Xanatos."
* Xanatos nods his head. "Don't drink too much. You hear?" He pats her gently, smiling, then turns and steps out of the bar.
