* Marcus` sighs. "Shields. It's like they want us to actually have to work hard here."
<DeathStar> 6* Paladin adjusts his gun frequency, using the technology Warren used in the Gift of the Gods.
* Sally`Wolf looks over at Paladin and starts fiddling with her own rifle.
<Dias`> 6SPoC switches also and reaims, firing another round of shots
<DeathStar> 6* The stone beasts fire huge rocks at the team.
<Chii> I don't really feel like using my heavier weapons until I have to.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> *aims lower and fires at the floor.
* Chii ducks back behind the hallway shutters.
* Dias` drops to the ground, pressing against the hallway wall
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra makes a hole in the floor?
* Marcus` glances up and groans, backing up.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl dashes in, under the rocks.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> *aimed at the Ridarium's feet.
<Chii> Son of a... Cheryl!
<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiariums aren't really phased by the foot hole CAssandra made. They're bigger.
* Chii slides out and begins dashing after Cheryl
<DeathStar> 6* Paladin sees the rocks coming in, and throws himself out of the way. SPoC's shots get through, hitting the Ridiariums.
* Dias` presses off the ground and moves in behind Cheryl
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> *leaps to the side to evade.
* Sally`Wolf ducks to the side and charges her rifle.
<Dias`> 6SPoC ducks under.
<DeathStar> <Paladin> Try not to shoot the floor or walls. We don't want to die from breaching into space.
* Marcus` pulls his shotgun up and fires a condensed shot towards one of the rid, moving into the main area.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> "So many for sending them downto the next floor..."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl activates her black whip as she moves in, whipping out through the energy shields and into the Cassandra.
<DeathStar> <Paladin> There is no next floor, Cassandra.
<DeathStar> NRP:! LOL! Into the Ridiariums
<Dias`> 6SPoC kneels and fires burst of rounds at a Ridariums neck.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> Well...its a little hard to tell since I don't have a schematic!
<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiarium uses a rock to block
<DeathStar> <Paladin> This room is all there is.
<DeathStar> 6* Paladin fires as well into the Ridiarium's arms.
* Sally`Wolf ducks back out and sends a charged burst of shots at another Ridarium.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> I'll take your word for it then!
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl is hit by a rock, and sent hurtling into a wall
* Myria pulls out her latest molecular disruptor and fires at a Ridarium.
* Chii continues making an arc around the combatants and firing, bringing herself to a halt near Cheryl. 1"...Cheryl, how do they fair underwater?
<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiarium is hit by Myria. It looks at her with a stone face.
<Chii> So much mass...
* Sally`Wolf follows up Myria's shot with a carefully aimed shot.
<Myria> I think I need more power...
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> ... ... It will only slow them down slightly
<Dias`> 6Dias kicks off the floor and spin kicks at the Ridarium staring at Myria.
* Marcus` strafes around the group of Ridarium. He fires 2 condensed shots out at the side of one of the ridariums.
<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiarium is hit by Wolf, then kicked by Dias. It eyes Dias like he's stupid
<Chii> I didn't think they'd drown or anything, but if they have trouble moving-- Fish in a barrel, right? Heheh.
* Myria fires at the Ridarium's face.
<Dias`> <Dias> Come on. 6He kicks back, sliding.
<DeathStar> 6* It's face is hit and it falls backwards and onto the ground. The others swat at Marcus
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl dashes in, using her whip to grab an elbow joint of one, tugging on it
* Sally`Wolf takes aim and fires at another Ridarium's face.
<DeathStar> 6* It's hit in the face, stumbling once.
<Dias`> 6SPoC aims at the one Cheryl's tugging on and fires at it's knee cap
<Chii> Tch, whatever.
<DeathStar> 6* Paladin fires at the one Cheryl's abusing and SPoC's abusing.
* Marcus` ducks low under a massive arm, then jumps back, charging up a blast an releases a charged shotgun blast for the face of his attacker.
* Sally`Wolf fires at it rapidly.
<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiariums form more rocks, throwing them at Marcus and Sally
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> *fires at the rocks being thrown!
* Sally`Wolf ducks back to safety from her position.
* Marcus` slides back into the wall, he gulps. "Oh shit oh shit." he attempts to roll to the right.
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra destroys the big rocks and makes tiny rocks
<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiarium swings it's arm, tossing Cheryl about
<Chii> Fine, fine.
* Sally`Wolf waits for the attacks to pass then goes for another rapidfire assault on a Ridarium head.
<Dias`> 6Dias dashes in at the Ridarium swinging Cheryl, black creeping up the left side of his neck. He leaps to the side and kicks up, throwing a fist for it's face. 2%
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl forms a dark energy and fires iti nto the eye of a Ridiarium.
* Chii rubs her hands around either wrist, shifting her bracers, then yanks length of wire out, channeling one of her captive spirits to raise its effectiveness.
* Myria tinkers with her disrupter.
<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiarium goes down from Dias and Cheryl.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl lands as the Ridiarium goes down, rolling.
<Dias`> 6Dias lands in a squat, the black quickly retreating back under his shirt.
* Chii springs over and swipes one hand, lashing out like Cheryl does with her whip using the plasma wire, aiming to flick Sally's targeted head.
* Marcus` pulls himself up, he glances down at his shotgun and then up at the Ridarium. He sighs then at Dias and Cheryl using their energy, clearly not wanting to use his own. He pauses and then kneels forward, he slips out the ripple blade that Dias gave him and dashes in, attempting to slash through one of the ridarium's knee.
<DeathStar> * The Ridiarium's head is hit again and again by Sally, then flicked by Chii. It begins to stumble.
* Marcus` shifts before his attack to target the stumbling Ridarium.
<Dias`> 6SPoC fires a charged shot for the last ridariums face
<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiarium's knee is slashed out, and it goes down faster.
* Chii turns and releases one end of the wire, sending it to wind around the head, then leaps upward to land on part of the Ridarium itself, grab the other end and yank.
<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiarium's head begins to crumble
<DeathStar> 6* The last Ridiarium throws a rock at SPoC.
<Dias`> 6Dias clenches his left fist.
* Chii channels more of the spirit, grumbling but finally willing to sacrifice hold over one to end this encounter quicker.
<Dias`> 6SPoC rolls to the opposite side.
<DeathStar> 6* Chii's rips off a Ridiarium's head.
<DeathStar> 6* The rock smashes into the wall, cracking it
<DeathStar> 6* Paladin glances at the wall
* Sally`Wolf replaces an energy cell in her rifle and looks for the next door.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> *turns, firing an adhesive blob on to the crack.
<Dias`> 6SPoC glances at the wall.
* Chii leaps off the headless Ridarium and begins moving for the next.
<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiarium rushes SPoC
* Marcus` slides to a stop and turns, he shifts the blade into it's sheath. He glaces at the Ridarium rushing SPoC.
* Kulix has joined #taw
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl rises to her feet.
<Dias`> 6SPoC snaps her gun at the rushing Ridarium and begins firing charged shot after charged shot.
* Sally`Wolf fires shots into the rushing Ridarium.
<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiarium, once it has momentum, seems unstoppable.
<Myria> Ok! *fires her re-tuned disruptor at the Ridarium's face!*
<DeathStar> 6* A momentary stumble
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl leaps on it's back while it stumbles, using her whip around it's neck
* Sally`Wolf fires bigger shots at the Ridarium.
* Marcus` pulls up his shotgun and kneels, firing a condensed blast for the side of one of it's knee.
* Dias` jerks her aim down and fires an overcharged shot for Ridariums knee

<DeathStar> 6* The Ridiarium falls down
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl tugs at it's neck.
<DeathStar> 6* Then rips it's head off.
* Kitzzzune has joined #taw
* Sally`Wolf nods a bit and moves to the next door.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl hops off, deactivating ehr whip
<Dias`> 6SPoC drops her clip and puts a new one in. She looks over at Paladin
<DeathStar> 6* Paladin looks, then nods. "West door."
* Marcus` lets out a whistle. "Nice work everyone." He rests the shotgun over his shoulder, then moves over to the West Door.
* Sally`Wolf heads to the west door and kneels, readying her gun once more.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> *moves toward the west door.
* Chii has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 180 seconds)

<Dias`> 6SPoC moves for the west door now
<DeathStar> 6* Paladin switches to normal shots as he steps to the west door
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl moves to the west door as well

* Dias` rubs his left hand as he moves to the west door
* Sally`Wolf keeps her weapon trained on the door.
* Chii retracts her wire and moves to the west exit, her wrists still emanating small amounts of darkness mixed with light wisps. 1"Yeah." 6She reaches out as she reaches the panel and sets her hand for it.
* Myria keeps moving too.
<DeathStar> 6* Her hand is stabbed, blood drained, and the doors open for another hallway.
<Ariel> Setsuna> "...that really doesn't look fun."
<Chii> Could always be worse.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl eyes the hallway.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> Probably not.
* Chii clenches her fingers a few times as the wound closes. 1"Maybe if we hurry I can get a little more use out of this spirit before I lose hold on it." 6She runs ahead.
<Marcus`> It could kill the person that opens it. *he notes*
<DeathStar> 6* As Chii runs ahead, the hallway suddenly activates a trap. Dark beams begin to fire out of the sides of the hallway in a timed pattern to slice the person into pieces. PREPARE YOURSELF

<DeathStar> 6* A beam hits Chii's arm, cutting her slightly, causing blood to run down. At the end of the hallway is a control panel for the beams.
<Chii> Tch... same goddamn trick.
<DeathStar> 6* The beam turn back around, coming for her again. She has only a few seconds to destroy it

* Chii smashes the panel with her hand.

* Marcus` shakes his head. "Glad that wasn't me."
<DeathStar> 6* The beams deactivate a few inches from her head
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl rushes forward after the beams are dead, checking Chii over.
<Chii> I don't know how these things work, so destroying it should be fine, right?
* Chii peers at her arm, twitching a bit.
<Ariel> Raquel> *moves forward now that it's safe* "...I wonder how those beams work..."
<DeathStar> 6* Paladin moves ahead, glancing Chii over. "Good work."
<Marcus`> Look Chii Chii. You're getting rusty.
<Myria> Wow, this keeps happening to Chii.
* Chii deathglares Myria.
<Dias`> Very well. 6He moves down the hallway
<Chii> Except last time you threw a grenade next to me, you little blue cretin.
<Dias`> 6SPoC starts moving down the wallway
* Sally`Wolf moves ahead and sets herself up at the door again.
<Myria> It was diamond dust! Not my fault it could switch to another type of beam!
<Chii> Yeah, breathing diamond dust is a wonderful thing.
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, behind them, the beams reactivate. Perhaps there's a hidden panel? The dark beams fly toward the group quickly. PREPARE YOURSELVES

* Sally`Wolf growls and looks down, her armor smoking, "A new beauty mark."
<Ariel> Setsuna> "Well, at least they're learning."
* Chii eyes Dias, then rolls her eyes.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl, having dodged excellently, looks fine. Paladin pants, not ready for that
<Marcus`> One of these days their going to just make a wall of beams. Let's hope that day never comes.
* Chii peers at the wire as she loses the glowing effect and the wire dies to a normal monofilament. 1"There goes that soul."
<DeathStar> 6* Paladin just opens the door for the next room, which is empty of enemies
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> How many more do you think we have in this fun house?
* Marcus` peers inside. "Hmmm. Go ahead Chii."

* Chii eyes Marcus, then walks in.

* Sally`Wolf takes a step in with Chii and sweeps her weapon about.
<Dias`> 6SPoC steps in now, sweeping her gun.

<Marcus`> It's like, she could leap onto a nuke and still survive.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl looks about, her eyes still having that faint dark glow.
<Myria> Oh, she can be blown apart and will still live!
<Dias`> <Dias> Takes all the damage, doesn't seem to die...6He shrugs

* Chii stops approaching about ten feet away, crossing her arms.

* Marcus` drums his fingers on the side of his leg. "She could be a shapeshifter, Wolf."

<Sally`Wolf> "Good point."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I say we cut her open and find out. 6* She activates her whip.

* Angela stands on the crystal, she leans down to check on Erevis.
* Chad`Winters throws himself onto the safety of the crystal since Megumi only cared enough about herself and Erevis
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis opens her eyes and begins to sit up.
<Angela> "You okay?"
* Theron` peers at them all. "...Lady Megumi, perhaps you can continue this crystal platform to the next door?"

* Chad`Winters lies on his back, taking deep breathes
* Megumi raises her head slowly, relieved over Erevis' awakening. She blinks at Theron, then nods slowly. 1"Yes..."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis' body quivers, and she adjusts something on her tactical suit. She begins to rise. Her white streak seems a bit more prominent now.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods once, then checks Ariel
* Angela pulls out some stims. Holding them out. "Here."
* Megumi moves and kneels on the edge and holds her hands to the platform, extending it slowly away from her as a narrow path to the door.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> That is not necessary.
<Angela> "Your call."
* Angela pockets them back in her bag.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr stands up, and checks her energy level.
* Chad`Winters pinches the bridge of his nose and he sits up.

* Ariel heads down the crystal walkway

* Megumi gets up and follows last, the path receeding behind her.

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis opens the next door. Inside the room, tied up to a dark organic thing like a crucifix, is Aya, with a Dark One next to her.

<Megumi> Wh-what!?
* Chad`Winters eyes go wide, a look of horror on his face
<DeathStar> 6* Aya looks up, her face tear stained. "S-Sorry..."
* Chad`Winters pulls out his datapad, eyeing something.
* Angela stares in shock, "Chad? Is it her?"

<DeathStar> 6* Darien frowns.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr forms her guns.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis stares at the scene, her face blank
* Theron` tilts his head at the Dark One, he frowns and holds his rifle ready.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark One speaks. "IF you make any moves, the girl will die."
* Megumi reaches her hands up, forming a a force scythe... then freezes as the demand is made. Too late.
<Megumi> D-..Damn..
<Angela> "Could be a shapeshifter..."

<DeathStar> <Dark One> Lay down your weapons and surrender!
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue, it's obvious he's deciding on something.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr trembles with rage, taking all her willpower not to attack
* Megumi blinks. Lay down her weapon?
* Ariel scowls, but lays her sword on the ground.
* Angela grips her gun, waiting, "It's now or never. Make a choice."

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis looks at Chad.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya trembles in fear, still crying.
<Chad`Winters> I need you here. 6He looks at her.
<DeathStar> <Dark One> None of you move. 6* He orders.

<Megumi> E-Erevis, think I ..could.. what you taught?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien frowns, and lays down his weapon.
* Theron` stands there stiffly, he hasn't moved yet, he seems to be waiting on an order.

* Megumi lets her force scythe dissolve it's already near-invisible form away.
<Chad`Winters> Confirmation.
<DeathStar> <Dark One> Lay down the emerald weapon
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I do not recall being told Aya Winters was on the station during this mission.
<Angela> "...This has to be a trick..."
* Megumi flinches and hesitates. Whatever's on the ground could be permanently lost if the dark technology is as rampant as it appeared.
* Chad`Winters closes his eyes, his fist tightening around Ebony.
<DeathStar> <Dark One> DO it, or she dies.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya cries out in pain as the organic device tightens
<Angela> "Meg..."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes Chad. "...she could be lying..." 6* He notes.
* Chad`Winters opens his eyes, studying the crucifex.
* Megumi reaches back and unlatches the sphere, pulling it around and giving it a longing gaze
<Theron`> <Theron> This is Mr. Winter's decision.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I do not believe it is your daughter. 6* She notes.
* Chad`Winters snaps Ebony up firing a shot for the Dark One's head.
<DeathStar> 6* The shot impacts into a shield
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stares
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr lifts her hands, and begins to fire her shots into the Dark One's shield.
<DeathStar> <Dark One> Wrong choice. 6* The organic device tightens and Aya screams in agony
* Megumi holds the emerald weapon and focuses, attempting to grab the Dark One itself and "pull" to ram it into its own shield, or Zephyr's shots.
* Angela trains her gun on the Dark One and fires as well.
* Theron` kneels so that it will be more easier to shoot over him, then fires at the Dark One on full auto.

* Chii snaps her wire out and laces it with plasma to attack, pouring a spirit into it.

<Ariel> 6* Raquel backs up against the wall, and then activates her bracelet.

<DeathStar> 6* A spirit stabs Dias in the gut. Spiritually.
<Chii> We have to deal with them. The others can't see them... I.. maybe Katrina can sense them, but...
* Marcus` pulls out his blades. "..."
* Chii dashes over and slashes with either hand for the one attacking Dias.
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina slides forward, slashing out at spirit
* Sally`Wolf pulls her goggles on and cycles through some filters, hoping to see.
* Myria decides not to go into the room!
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias is spiritually stabbed, thus not knowing how to respond.

<Ariel> 6* Raquel lunges with her blade at the one that stabbed Dias
<DeathStar> 6* Chii and RAquel totally fuck up that spirit
* Chii immediately turns after her attacks, sprinting for the one that originally attacked Cheryl. She literally charges at it, poised for her dual wielding.

<Chii> I don't have time to pick up the remnants, Spirit. You'll have to take what's left so they don't reform.

* Marcus` glances left and then right. "Uh, is there anything near me?"

<Chad`Winters> 6Dias howls in pain as he grabs his gut, his face tense from spiritual pain

* Sally`Wolf keeps herself ready, not liking this part.
* Chii holds up one spirit-laced blade to parry attacks, counterslashing with the other. She backs off in between a round, sheathes both and forms a seal, eyeing another ghost. 1"Katon!" 6And attempts to fireburst it, since her ninpo is spiritual anyway. She whips the blades back out before she's struck.

* Chii leaps back and forms another seal. 1"Raiton!" 6She calls down a lightning strike on the furthest from her that's attacking Marcus, then springs her blades back out and lunges for the one near her.

* Chii leaps back, sheathing both blades. She forms a last seal, kneeling. 1"Hyoton!" 6And attempts to freeze it.

Angela would see her dead parents, looking at her with scorn, saying they never loved her.

* Angela looks around as well, spotting Zephyr, she moves towards her.

* Angela looks at her, then up at the approaching Chad.

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl looks up. It's dark, evil power can be felt by all, especially those tainted.

* Chii dashes quickly to the left, along the room wall.

<Chii> I wanted to save for Asmodeus, for old times sake, but I guess this isn't a time for being conservative.
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina, having dashed to the side, is thrown along. She gets up, eyeing the two titans.
* Marcus` skids along the ground after diving for safety, he pulls himself up. "Man, I feel so useless here."

* Sally`Wolf pulls out one of her much bigger guns, charing it up.
* Chii slides to a halt and begins forming seals. 1"Katon, Fuuton, zettai rengeki da!" 6She puts her hand to the floor, then begins focusing on forming one of the ridiculous firestorm spheres, draining one of her captive souls, then feeds the flames with blade-worthy winds in the isolated zone, draining yet another.
<Marcus`> Well against the Tsiv/Dark One hybrid, I turned into a wolf and overpowered it using my own dark energy. But a Rid...damn I can do much there.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl roars and her dark energy begins to rise. She tackles the Giant Ridiarium, slamming into it.

<DeathStar> 6* The two begin to collide, trading blows, charged with dark energy. The room begins to fill thick with evil and darkness as they collide, and after a while, one can tell that Cheryl's gone berserk

* Sally`Wolf takes aim, waiting for an opening where she doesn't hit Cheryl.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> No, no it's not.
* Marcus` twitches slightly, stepping back. "...jesus christ."
<DeathStar> 6* Paladin frowns as he watches the two battling it out. The room shakes.
<Ariel> 6* Setsuna uses some anti-darkone rounds, and tries to distract the enemy monster
<DeathStar> 6* Chii's firestorm attack slams into Cheryl and the Giant RIdiarium, since, well, you can't attack one without the other.
<DeathStar> 6* Setsuna's anti-dark one rounds hits the Giant Ridiarium and Cheryl as well, as the two tussle and move about quickly

<DeathStar> 6* They slam into the wall, and it cracks.
<Chad`Winters> <Dias> ...We need to move to the next room now.

<Chad`Winters> 6Dias hesitantly moves towards the door only to stop when he see's Cheryl go into it

* Chii throws one fist in the air. 1"Fuck him up!"
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl pushes herself up, then charges her corruption as high as it goes, then fires a dark blast into the Ridiarium, blasting it in the chest. It shudders as it's hit, unable to move

<DeathStar> 6* Paladin points at the Ridiarium
* Marcus` glances from Paladin to the Rid.
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina watches, not having anything that could hurt that.
<Marcus`> Wait. Ohhhh. We're supposed to attack it now.
* Chii moves forward and leaps along the giant Ridarium's body, running and clambering up its surface for the hole, she reaches back and begins hurtling cashes of explosives into the innard.
<Ariel> 6* Setsuna sadly loads one of her anti-dark grenades she was saving, and uses it on the giant dark monster
* Chii leaps away.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> *chambers a round and then fires it at the Ridarium.
<Chii> Gah! Shiiiit!
* Sally`Wolf fires her gun, well, cannon, into the Dark Ridarium.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias pulls his left hand back, black glowing beneath his wrapping. He steps forward and thrusts his left hand forward, firing a Dark Beam for it's head. 5%
* Marcus` pulls up his shotgun and fires two condensed charged shots at the Dark Rid.
<DeathStar> 6* The Giant Ridiarium is riddled with explosives as the dark beam tears into it's chest.
<DeathStar> 6* Everyone but Wolf and Marcus do damage.
<DeathStar> 6* Dias is riddled with terrible pain as his chest burns
* Chii slams into the floor and pathetically rolls, eventually just landing on her side, having made a hasty retreat from explosives when everyone fired.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dias grabs his chest as he falls to his knees, the wrapping on his left arm burned in sections revealing the dark markings.
* Sally`Wolf growls and switches out for a plasma cannon.
<Ariel> 6* Raquel did the most massive damage. Really. Honest.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Ridiarium breaks apart finally. Cheryl's attack finally stops, and her Gear glows with dark lines and tattoos.
* Myria eyes Cheryl warily...
* Marcus` glances at his gun, then looks up to Cheryl. "..."
* Chii strains and gets back to her feet. 1"I hate this mission."
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina shifts to look at Dias, seeing his chest now looks like his arm. "Dias...."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl roars like a dragon. Paladin eyes her, his hand on the datapad.

* Chii snaps her head toward Cheryl, eyes widening.

She takes another one of her captive spirits and begins channeling it, using the bracer Warren gave her as a partial tool, but not channeling it to anything specific. She gives herself a noticeable aura to those even not spiritually attuned, dark as her normal, but flickering with white whisps. She eyes Paladin no nicer. 1"...I can't hurt her.."

* Angela reloads her gun and lets her body recover. She sees what's happening and takes a shot, hoping to knock him back more.

* Angela pumps some medical stims into his legs and then gives him and Ariel space, moving for the door.

* Angela pulls out her sword, looking at it. She then blinks, looking up at Ariel.

* Ariel wishes Erevis didn't prevent her from taking Dragon form... THAT could have been useful.

* Megumi is speaking her own tongue, but even to Angela who should have learned some of it by now, it's nonsensical babbling. She's still out of it.
* Angela finds herself battling a kitty grip.
* Ariel hugs Zephyr tightly, "...I love you... Zephyr. Never give up hope..."

<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr hiccups on her own tears.
<Angela> "No... wait..."
* Ariel heads for the door
* Angela looks at Ariel passing her.

<Ariel> "...if I don't make it back... get everyone out alive."
* Chad`Winters steps up behind Zephyr, putting his hands on her shoulders
<Marcus`> * Theron bows himself, his eyes on the ground. "Godspeed, Lady Ariel."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr turns, crying into Chad's chest.
* Angela shakes her leg, trying to get up. "Come on not now!"
* Chad`Winters puts his arms around her, hugging her. He runs his hand up and down her back to try and soothe her.
<Angela> "...I... okay..."
<DeathStar> 6* Once Ariel enters the hexagon plate, she would find a large device in the center, a capsule of epic porportions. The entire room is filled with dark energy, and it's stifling. Erevis is on the far end, by one of the devices she passed. She nods to Ariel, and points to the device beside her. "We must activate these to detatch the plates."
* Megumi lets go of Angela, clawing at the floor-- creating a horrible squeal as she literally does claw into it. Apparently exerting her old abilities while babbling. 1"Yue'th la'kuuran.."
* Angela does her best to pull meg form the floor so they don't all die from spacing.
* Ariel nods, keeping her blade on hand as she hurries to activate the device.
<DeathStar> 6* Once they do, the doors shut and plate detatches, floating away from the others. Erevis bows. "This will keep what we are doing from killing the others."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis moves to the controls. "I....hope you...can forgive me, Ariel...."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis rests her left hand on the controls, gathering her hyperspace life energy as she speaks
* Ariel nods again to Erevis, but has no words. She doesn't wish to die... but she can't sacrifice her family.
* Ariel starts to fill her blade with holy energy... she's going to need it.
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, Legion busts out of the capsule. His wounds from Zephyr healed. His stance taller, his aura stronger. His very presence fills the air with energy, a crushing weight, as if the gravity is increasing around them. He is death incarnate.
<DeathStar> <Legion> You are too late.
* Ariel turns to face Legion slowly.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr stares out a window at the hexagon plate moving away
<DeathStar> 6* Legion turns to face Ariel, laughing. "Ha ha ha ha."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis unleashes her energy into the controls. They begin to spark, building up toward overload.
<Marcus`> * Theron stands there with frown. His head is low, and he appears to be ashamed of himself.
<DeathStar> 6* Legion approaches. The gravity weight increasing around Ariel. "So you foolishly listened to this woman and came?"
* Ariel slams her fully charged holy blade into the wall behind Erevis, and forms her plasma sword. "...I came for my reasons, not for this eternal game..."
<DeathStar> 6* Legion holds out his hand. "Tell me. Why would I remain on this platform with you if I was destined to die?"
* Megumi swings her head back, reeling in a spacey stare. 1"...Ler'eeyu A-Ariel... feiyah- feiya.. fa...te...?"
<DeathStar> 6* Legion suddenly unleashes a wave at Erevis, and begins to drain her energy. He begins to change his aura, healing himself as he draws in her hypersapce energy at the same time.
* Ariel doesn't answer. It should be obvious. She moves forward, slashing at Legion with her plasma blade.
<DeathStar> 6* Legion is slashed. The plasma blade does barely a scratch. He roars with laughter.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis screams in pain
<DeathStar> 6* The overload continues to build. Only a few more seconds now, and the beast will be caught in the explosion and die
* Ariel attempts to sever Legion's hand at the wrist, to release his grip on Erevis.
<DeathStar> 6* Legion's wrist is cut into it, and his attack on Erevis releases. His wound heals instantly and he steps back. "This is over."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis clambers to her feet, her hair even more white. "I ... see.." 6* She watches blue sparks appearing around Legion. "I..understand...now..."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances at Ariel, holding out her left hand. "Take my hand, Ariel."
* Ariel hesitates, but takes Erevis' hand... hoping she truely realizes what she's doing.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis forms the hyperspace blade with her right hand, and charges Legion, while holding Ariel. She stabs him in the stomach while he gathers his blue aura. Meanwhile, to the others, since the camera scene shifts, the plate explodes in a explosion, a ring flying out and hitting the station
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> MOM!
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr falls to her knees. To Megumi, her bond would vanish, snapping her to reality
<Angela> "ARIEL!"
<Marcus`> * Theron frowns and glances over his shoulder.
* Angela pulls herself up. "EREVIS!"
* Megumi shakes her head, dropping from Angela and putting a hand to her head.
* Chad`Winters closes his eyes then kneels down by Zephyr. Not moving
* Angela holds her head and slumps down, crying. "Should have been me... should have been me..."
* Megumi stands up, hunched over all eery-like.
* Megumi leans up and lets her hair fall back, tilting slightly to peer out the view.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis' letter falls down to the floor
* Angela hugs herself to Meg, perhaps more for her own comfort then Meg's.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr cries hard
* Chad`Winters reaches over, pulling Zephyr into a hug.
* Megumi shifts her eyes forward, holding up her hand-- Without even looking she draws the paper up into her hand, gazing toward it blankly.
* Angela looks at it too. "She... left you that Meg... save it..."
<Marcus`> * Theron takes in a deep breath. Walking back to the exit, deciding he wants to get away from this situation.
* Megumi flips it open with her thumb and shifts it in the one hand amongst her fingers to read its contents, saying nothing to Angela.
<DeathStar> 6* The letter is written in Famfrit: "Dear Kitten, I hope you can forgive me one day for what I have done. I did what was necessary. I know this will be hard for you to understand. I beg that you remain strong - for yourself, and for me, when my younger self arrives. She will be stubborn, and will not understand. But if you are patient, and show strength, and refuse to give up on her, then she will come around. I love you. Always."

* Megumi clenches her hand, crumpling up the left half as her hand drops. 1"...Stubborn. You're the stubborn one."

* Angela wordlessly helps Meg to her feet, knowing they can't stay long. Her eyes distant.

<Kit> 6Megumi silently tilts her head, eyes still closed. Then smiles a bit.
<Kit> 6Chii jerks a bit, having trouble guaging the aura she feels. She pauses when she notices a weightless sensation and gazes downward, finally realizing she's off the ground by a small margin, and despite wiggling her feet, can't seem to touch down.

<Kit> 6Megumi continues to smile, walking forward, toward her again, then casually waves her hand to the right, abrubtly slamming Chii into the respective wall, leaving her with a nauseating dizziness as she slides down it to the floor, released from the hold. Megumi saunters down the hall and disappears as unattached as she started.
