<Marcus> * Drasek glances around as he moves, taking in everything.

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis glances at Megumi. "There is something I wish to tell you." 6* She says in a low tone.
* Freyja stays near Erevis, for whatever reason. Mayhaps because she's carrying the unconscious member, or because Erevis bothered to approach her.
<Chad`Winters> Odd that we haven't run into any guards. 6He notes to Shretrav.
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> I imagine that they have other...unpleasant things waiting for us
<Freyja> 6Megumi turns her head to gaze at Erevis curiously, smiling despite the circumstances. 1"...Y-Yes..?"

<Freyja> 6Megumi pauses, blinking at Erevis, then turns sharply to gaze toward the rooftops.

<Freyja> <Megumi> I heard something.
<Marcus> * Drasek glances at Scar, then Megumi. "Might be a sniper."
<Freyja> One moment." 6She peers upward, then attempts a short jump to the top to look around.
<DeathStar> 6* Behind them, tendrils rip up through the street, blocking the way back
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue and then spins around, aiming Ebony towards the tendrils.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr whirls around, guns in hands. Freyja would find nothing on the rooftop.
<Freyja> <Freyja> Nothing." 6She calls down, eyeing the blocked route.
<DeathStar> 6* Though, she could see, an army of Tsivrixsh coming for the group on another street.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> HEads up! *raises her gun*
<Marcus> * Drasek pauses and glances behind him. "Well, that's nifty. We're trapped, lads."
* Chad`Winters quickly looks ahead, aiming his mod. gun ahead.

<Freyja> <Megumi> ...Strange. We should carry on.
<Chad`Winters> Shretrav, is there any alternate routes we can take?
<DeathStar> 6* Billy frowns, then makes herself look 18
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> Not if we want to reach the senate building in any time frame worthwhile.
<Ariel> Setsuna> "...well, people complained about lack of company. Here we go."

* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue. 1"They're cutting off our escape than."

* Chad`Winters glances at the buildings on their sides.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr sighs. "This is not going to be---" 6* The sounds of things in the sky can be heard.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> Blunt and alot of force. They know what works.
<Freyja> 6Freyja peers down at them, then moves along the roof to the side where there are Tsivrixsh approaching. She holds up a hand, gathering a glow of green, then her other hand, a glow of blueish-white.
<DeathStar> 6* The buildings are glowing faintly with dark energy - probably with something bad if they touch it
<Marcus> * Drasek glances up and squints. "What's that sound?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It would seem they are coming up by air as well.
<Chad`Winters> We can't use the buildings to hide either.
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> I fear I'm not much of a fighter. Perhaps I should...take the rear.
<DeathStar> <Scar> Hey, I'll take your rear any day.
* Freyja whispers something soundlessly, then begins driving wind through the corridor Tsivrixsh are approaching, quickly joined by flurries of sleet and ice.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> The rear may not be a good place either. We have no idea what is about to happen.
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh begin to grow dark lines, and they unleash waves of dark energy to repel. They charge forward now
<DeathStar> 6* They round the corner now, in front of the team.
<Freyja> 6Freyja jerks back, surprised, then appears on the ground amidst the team.
<Freyja> That's new.
<Marcus> * Drasek lets out a whistle. "We've got company, folks."
<DeathStar> Song 02: Dark Tsivrixsh and Sky Battle
<Chad`Winters> We're being put in a pincer...6He snaps both guns ahead and starts firing shots at the incoming Tsiv.
<DeathStar> 6* Scar reaches into his coat, pulling out a gun and sword.
<DeathStar> 6* They block the shot with a shield. In the sky, two dark mechs appear
* Marcus is now known as Drasek
* Chad`Winters glances up. 1"Megumi. Zephyr. That's your cue.
<Freyja> Hmm. Unfavorable.
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> *chambers a rail gun round and aims at one of the dark mechs above.
<DeathStar> <Billy> So, mommas, you going to show me how it's doen, right?
<Freyja> You're a good shot, aren't you, Winters?
<Myria> 6<14Cassandra6> Just give me the word.
* Drasek glances up and lets out another whistle, he jerks his hand forward to throw 2 knives toward one of the Tsiv.
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh begin to unleash beams at the group, that can be duckedo nly
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis throws herself down
<Freyja> 6Megumi looks to Zephyr, wincing. 1"Us, right?"
<Chad`Winters> And try to conserve you energy. 6He glances ahead than quickly ducks.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr jerks Megumi down for now.
<Ariel> 6* Setsuna grabs Billy and hits the dirt
<DeathStar> 6* Shretrav takes cover as best she can.
<Freyja> 6Freyja crouches leisurely.

<Drasek> * Drasek grunts and falls back onto his ass.
<DeathStar> 6* Scar casually holds up a hand, blocking with a dark shield
* Myria hits the ground.

<DeathStar> 6* The beam attack subsides, and they charge in for hand-to hand combat
<Chad`Winters> DO IT NOW! 6He stands up slides his modified gun into it's holster and pulls out a short plasma blade, igniting it.
<Freyja> 6Freyja focuses on the closest of the Tsivrixsh, holding out her hand, intently concentrating on dispelling the shielding as best she can.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr nods to Megumi.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Now would be good.
<Freyja> 6Megumi twists and hugs her. 1"Y-Yeah!"
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh affected by Freyja pause, hesitating
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr hugs her back, forming a gear that leaps up as not to crush anyone
<Freyja> <Freyja> Now would be good indeed.
* Myria rises on to her knee and then fires the rail gun shot into the tsiv.
* Chad`Winters aims Ebony at one of the the hesitating Tsiv and fires for a head shot

<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixh are taken down roughly by the rail gun, their bodies ripping open
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Mechs aim their weapons at the team
<Drasek> * Drasek pulls himself up and slips out his hidden blades, adapting to using them as katars for the time being. He waits for a Tsiv to come towards him and would dodge the first stike before returning one of his own.

<DeathStar> <Scar> Nice one. You ripped a hole in them.
<Freyja> 6Megumi exhales, and pictures forming with Zephyr.
<Ariel> 6* Setsuna opens fire on the Tsiv, saving her grenades for now.
<DeathStar> 6* Billy fires a dark pistol at them
* Chad`Winters shifts aim, firing several shots for the other hesitating Tsiv.
<cassandra`> Tell me where to hit those mechs! *chambers another round and aims upward*
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis moves in like Drasek, using her emerald staff to hit enemies. Drasek and Erevis manage to hold them off.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr and Megumi fly upward in their mech form
* Freyja gives up on mass dispelling and instead narrows her eyes, forming openings for solitary shots on individuals, one by one.
<Freyja> <Megumi>It... It is two on one, Zephyr. H-How strong are these ones?
<DeathStar> 6* Billy hoots. "This is fun. Can we do this more often?"
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Mechs fire a beam at Zephyr, that literally seems lethal
<Freyja> 6Megumi shifts and dashes sideways quickly. 1"That did not feel well."
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh begin to try to rush the team and overwhelm
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Yeah. They're strong
* Chad`Winters takes a steps back and fires another shot at a rushing Tsiv.
* Drasek works alongside Erevis, blocking when needed and then attacking with slashes. He steps back slighting from the upcoming rush. "Revi, we've got trouble."
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh's shield holds now. It seems Freyja was doing good.
<Freyja> 6Freyja waves her other hand, forming protruding earth spears from the ground itself-- like those used to stop rushing calvary.
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh are stopped by the Earth for now
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes. I see that.
* cassandra` aims for the center of one of the mechs and then fires a rail gun shot before sliding the ehavy weapon back into standby and prepping for hand to hand.
<DeathStar> 6* The Mech, focused on Zephyr, is struck. It is now off balanced
* Chad`Winters quickly holsters Ebony and slides his left hand along his belt. .
<Freyja> 6Megumi narrows her eyes and dashes forward for it while it's distracted, raising one of the mech's arms for the space between its chest and head as quickly as possible. 1"Get it, Zephy!"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr fires a huge beam, tearing the mech in two
* Drasek holds his katars up ready, watching the Tsiv come in. "Might could use a little hyperspace. But should probably save it for some more...extreme odds. What d'ya think, luv?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes. That would be wise. 6* The Tsivrixsh break through the spears.
* Chad`Winters twirls the blade in his right hand, waiting now.
<Freyja> 6Reaches forward with the other claws and snatches part of the breaking mech and twirls, hurtling it at the other.
<DeathStar> 6* Billy hoots, firing dark energy at them

<DeathStar> 6* The other Dark Mech dodges, then fires a dark beam at the ground team, aiming to evaporate them all with it's LETHAL weapons
<cassandra`> Fire in the hole!
<DeathStar> <Scar> Hell, how do we doge THAT?
* Chad`Winters glances up. 1"Shit."\
* cassandra` moves to get away from the center of impact.
<DeathStar> 6* Billy peers upward
* Drasek glances up and pauses. "Bloody hell." He glances behind him, then looks forward.
<Freyja> 6Megumi grinds her teeth and aims their hands for a spot a bit in front of the dark beam. 1"Zeph... fire for it!" 6She lines up so that their angle is toward the oncoming Tsivrixsh
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr fires, going on Megumi's instincts.
* Drasek lets out a breath. "Well, then. I hope that works."
<DeathStar> 6* The two beams cross, impacting into one another, causing an explosion in the sky
<DeathStar> 6* While Zephyr is recovering, the Dark Mech rams into her, sending her straight into the ground face first
* Chad`Winters turns back to the incoming Tsiv.
<Freyja> 6Megumi wails asthey descent and impact.
<DeathStar> 6* the Tsivrixsh reach the team finally, swinging their xvashes viciously
<DeathStar> 6* Billy forms a sword of dark energy, parrying. "Um, ninja momma, how about fighting?"
* Chad`Winters swings his blade up to intercept.
* Freyja calmly eyes an approaching one, appearing unarmed, but then raises her hands, forms the light bow and draws, aiming for its chest without any nervous haste.
* cassandra` fires some headshots at the Tsiv infantry as the close in then fires a spray of microexplosives at the tsiv's footing.
* Drasek shields his eyes from the blasts, then glances up, pulling his katar up to parry the Xvash. If that succeeds he would slam the other katar forward, aiming for the chest.
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh eyes the bow
<DeathStar> 6* Drasek stabs into him
* Freyja lets go, releasing a light arrow.
<DeathStar> 6* The microexplosives take down several Tsivrixsh, and Freyja's arrow pins one to a wall
<Ariel> Setsuna> *opens fire at the Tsiv that attacks Billy
<Freyja> Peace be with you.
<DeathStar> 6* Billy beams.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis parries, then spins, whacking one in the face
<DeathStar> <Scar> Man, you are hot when you use that bow.
* Drasek attempts to grasp the Xvash and kick out for the Tsiv to knock him away.
* Freyja dissolves the bow and retreats slightly, twitching at Scar.
* Reginald has joined #taw
* Chad`Winters loosens to fingers in his left hand and kicks off, sliding backwards as one of his round explosives hits the ground and goes off
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark Mech goes for kidney shots on the Dragon Gear.
* Chad`Winters glances at the Zephyr/Megumi. 1"CASS HIT THE MECH."
<Freyja> 6Megumi rolls them out of the way quickly and slams her hand around holding an emerald ...zanbatou dagger, for the side of it.
* cassandra` leaps back, pulling her rail gun into firing ositiong and then firing at the center of the dark mech!
<DeathStar> 6* As Megumi forms and attacks, the Gear bond breaks down as Zephyr's energy reserves drain rapidly. The Emerdald weapon does pierce it, then CAssandra blasts the hell out of it. It explodes
<cassandra`> The sky is clear! Sweep the ground!
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh that remain eye them with dark hatred
* Reginald has quit IRC (Quit: Client Exited)
* Chad`Winters turns, running towards Megumi and Zephyr.
<Freyja> 6Megumi lands, hopefully, grasping the zanbatou one-handed, looking around frantically for Zephry.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr pants, grabbing her coat from Megumi
<DeathStar> 6* She yanks it on, kneeling there
<Freyja> <Megumi> <Zephy!? O-Oh...>
<Freyja> <Megumi> Are you alright?
<DeathStar> 6* Billy fires a wave of dark energy into the incoming enemies, and Scar keeps taking pot shots.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Just need a minute. Bit winded suddenly.
<Freyja> <Megumi> Is it this world's atmosphere...?
* cassandra` turns and draws her pistol, firing at the eyes giving those dark hate-filled looks.
* Chad`Winters slides over to the, his hand sliding along his belt and than to Ebony. 1"You alright you two?"
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, dark tendrils reach up from the ground, grabbing the remaining Tsivrixshs, and yanking them into the ground

<Freyja> 6Megumi looks to Chad and nods slowly.

* Drasek pauses holding a Xvash in his hand.
<DeathStar> 6* Scar blinks.
<Drasek> Bloody hell is going on?
* Chad`Winters aims Ebony at the ground as he steps back, holding a hand down to Zephyr.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis tilts her head.
* Freyja looks back to see if the tendrils are still there.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr takes the hand, standing slowly. "Must be."
<DeathStar> 6* They tendrils are there still
<DeathStar> 6* Shretrav peers about
<DeathStar> <Billy> I...sense something very dark.
<Freyja> 6Megumi frowns slightly. 1"Worry not, Zephyr. I will protect you."

<Freyja> <Megumi> So take care of yourself for now.
<Ariel> Setsuna> *adjusts her ammo... things look like they're about to get dark*
* Drasek glances at Billy. "Well then, this' going to be interestin."

<cassandra`> ...will this involve a giant composite abomination made up of all those Tsiv soldiers?
<DeathStar> 6* Ripping up from the ground are massive tendrils with skeletons all along them, as it coils through them, and at the center is, a Dark One
* Chad`Winters aims Ebony towards the Dark one and fires a shot for it.
<DeathStar> 6* A tendril smacks the shot away.

<Freyja> <Freyja> Hrmph. Abomination is a good word.
<cassandra`> Well, least its not quite the same abomination I described. *turns and chambers a rail gun round*
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark One laughs. "So these are the fabled ones who have killed so many of us."
* Drasek tilts his head. "Well that's a bit odd." He pulls up his hand and slips an explosive knife up, throwing it towards the Dark One, or hey a tendril will work.

<DeathStar> 6* The tendril smacks it again, though it seems undamaged.
<Ariel> 6* Setsuna lobs a anti-dark grenade set to explode on contact, and goes to reload
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... such evil.
* Chad`Winters grunts in response and drops the clip on to the ground, his foot resting against it. He slides a new clip in.
<Drasek> Bloody hell, that didn't even hurt it!
<DeathStar> 6* The tendril slaps it, but it explodes and removeso ne of many
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr eyes it.
<DeathStar> 6* The tendrils begin to slap down at the team, bigger than them, so getting hit would hurt
<Chad`Winters> Getting to...6He grabs Zephyr and moves to dodge
<DeathStar> 6* Scar leaps to the side. "Holy hell, maybe I should have thought harder about leaving theri side
* Drasek tenses and attempts to dive to the right.
* cassandra` moves to evade the tendrils.
<Freyja> <Freyja> Indeed." 6She steps back and begins leaping from place to place to stay untargetted, forming her bow and drawing it back, forming a sphere instead of an arrow

<Ariel> 6* Setsuna leaps aside.
<Drasek> Bloody well makes you think, eh mate? *he says to Scar, pulling himself back up*
<DeathStar> 6* Billy rolls.
<DeathStar> 6* A tendril whips around, grabbing at Billy
<cassandra`> Billy! Watch out!
<Freyja> 6Megumi swings the zanbato around and hefts it across her chest and over the opposite shoulder, crouching to leap out of the way, and then spin the giant emerald-blade into one after her.
<DeathStar> 6* The emerald blade cuts it in two.
* Chad`Winters twists as he slides, his right hand holding Zephyr against him. He aims Ebony towards the abomination. 1"We need to take out the tendrils if we're going to get to him."
<Drasek> That settles it. I need some sort of hyperspace blade.
<DeathStar> 6* Billy turns her head slightly, but is grabbed by the tendril. "Oh, gross, this is worse than hentais."
<Freyja> 6Megumi spins around and cleaves back for the part still attached horizontally-- and once at the end of her reach, focuses a wave projection to continue along it.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Yeah. You're right.
<DeathStar> 6* The tendril is hit again, but her force projection does nothing
* cassandra` runs, leaping on to the tendril that snagged Billy and then firing her gun into it.
<Freyja> 6Megumi gasps slightly, then shakes her head and rushes forward, dragging the blade along behind her.
<DeathStar> 6* The gun chips away a bit, then drops Billy.
* Freyja finishes forming her sphere and pauses to aim it toward the center.
* Chad`Winters shifts his aim towards one of the tendrils and fires a charged shot for it.
* cassandra` slaps an explosive pack on the tendril and then leaps off when it drops Billy.
<DeathStar> 6* The tendril seems barely damaged by the charged shot.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis forms the emerald staff into a sword, moving in
* Drasek stands there and tilts his head, counting the tendrils.
<DeathStar> 6* There appears to be 13 remaining. One explodes. 12.
* Freyja releases the light sphere at a quick pace, but halfway to target it pauses suddenly and bursts into a myriad of other arcing light streams to inclose around the Dark One at seemingly random angles.
<cassandra`> Billy...are you alright?
<DeathStar> 6* Billy nods. "Thanks, Mecha Momma."
<DeathStar> 6* The tendrils shift to block the attacks. 2 are destroyed.
* Chad`Winters clicks his tongue. 1"Gonna need to use more force."
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis spins, cleaving into one, making the count 9
<Freyja> <Freyja> Hm. You told me to preserve energy.
* Drasek frowns and rubs the back of his head. "That makes two of us, mate." He shrugs and moves forward, slashing at a Tendril.
<DeathStar> 6* The tendrils slap out at Freyja, Megumi, and Erevis
<Freyja> 6Megumi rushes and leaps past Erevis-- swinging the blade down in a pseudo-styled pounce, slamming it vertically toward one.
<cassandra`> Stay light on your feet.
<DeathStar> 6* Though Megumi hits one, she has no time to dodge the attack on her - and goes flying
* Freyja jerks, widening her eyes slightly and focusing on repositioning herself a bit to the right
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis pauses, then jerks herself to the side in a flip to avoid it. She lands hard
* Chad`Winters doesn't hear Freyja, probably wasn't even talking to her. He let's go of Zephyr and drops the clip, sliding it on his belt. He than grabs a different clip and slaps it in.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr trie to get energy back
<DeathStar> 6* Scar watches, arms crossed, trying to decide whatto do
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Eight remain. ... 6* She checks on Megumi visually
* Chad`Winters slides his hand along his belt and holds a small orb towards Zephyr. 1"Throw it towards the Dark One itself."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr takes the orb. "When?"
<DeathStar> 6* Billy forms a dark energy sword, then slashes out for a tendril, cutting it.
<DeathStar> 6* A tendril smashes down at CAssandra from overhead
<Freyja> 6Megumi groans and sits up, grabbing the zanbatou hilt. 1"...Inadequate.."
* cassandra` moves, chambering a round and sets the rail gun to stand by.
* Chad`Winters unholsters his mod. gun and aims it towards the Dark One and fires a shot. 1"Now."
* Drasek pulls his hand back and slides the blade back into it's 'hidden' slot, and then pulls his hand back, punching forward for a tendril, the front of his fist, peeling away to reveal hyperspace.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr throwsi t as hard as she can. A tendril move to intercept
* Chad`Winters swings Ebony over, timing it and fires an overcharged shot for the orb.
* Freyja aims for the tendril looking to intercept and fires a light stream.
<DeathStar> 6* The orb explodes, taking out a tendril. Six. Then Drasek's hyperspace burns away an entire tendril, making it five.
<DeathStar> 6* Freyja's light stream hits a tendril, damaging it
<Freyja> Tch." 6Retreats on foot again.
<DeathStar> 6 *Scar shrugs, taking his sword and cutting the damaged tendril. He's a kill stealer. Four.
<Ariel> 6* Setsuna lets loose concentrated fire at one of the tendrils, trying to narrow down the defenses.
* Drasek steps back, shaking his hand. "Well, that's something I don't need to be doing that often."
* Chad`Winters fires his mod gun towards the Dark One and then fires an overcharged in behind it.
<DeathStar> 6* Setsuna keeps one tendril busy, so only two can block Chad
<Freyja> <Megumi> ...Only have one so..." 6She focuses on the emerald weapon and shifts it from zanbatou to the dual-bladed sword, holding it at the center and moving to charge again.
* cassandra` then turns and fires at the Dakr One with a rail gun shot.
<DeathStar> 6* The one tendril not blocking or being hampered swings down at Cassandra - meaning CAssandra's shot gets through. Suddenly, the creature roars and vanishes into the ground

* Drasek misses a slash and acks, hopping on one foot.
* Chad`Winters glances around, his eyes wary.
<Freyja> 6Megumi comes to a halt, sticking the bottom blade into the ground and leaning against the weapon, catching her breath.

<DeathStar> 6* The small bit of street platform they are descends, held up by huge tendrils slithering under it and at the edges
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr stumbles onto her ass, eeps and covers herself.
<Freyja> Bigger problems..
* Drasek groans. "Oh bloody hell." He sighs and eyes the Xvash in his hand.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis pauses, glancing about. The Dark One rises from the other side
* Chad`Winters shifts his feet as he tries to keep standing.
<DeathStar> 6* Shretrav tries to keep her balance for now. Soon the shaking stops.
<DeathStar> 6* Billy eyes it, then peers down. Long fall.
<cassandra`> Any ideas?
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Shoot it?
* Drasek throws a knife for the Dark One, a regular one.
<Ariel> Setsuna> "Ring the bell. We have ourselves round two."
<Chad`Winters> Zephyr. You and Megumi may have to form a gear to get us down safely.
<DeathStar> 6* The Dark One fires a dark beam, that hits the knife, and flies. It's low to the ground, so jumping must be done.
* Chad`Winters grabs Zephyr and times it, leaping up with her.
<DeathStar> 6* Scar yelps and leaps, balancing on one foot as he lands
<Drasek> Alley...OOP. *he says with a slight grunt, leaping*
<Ariel> 6* Setsuna jumps the beam, wishing there was something to latch onto.
<DeathStar> 6* Billy backflips over it, and Erevis uses her sword to go over it
* cassandra` leaps over it.
<Freyja> 6Freyja disappears and reappears a bit in the air. Megumi crouches and gasps, then springs upward.
<DeathStar> 6* Shretrav manages to, barely, jump, landing
<DeathStar> 6* The tendrils begin to shake the platform from side to side
<Freyja> 6Megumi lands, sliding the blade into the ground to steady herself again

<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr lands with Chad, then grabs his leg as it shakes. "C-Can't move well."
* Chad`Winters lands on his back from the awkward leap.
* Drasek slips and falls onto his ass, he struggles to get back to his feet.
<Ariel> Setsuna> "I see you've been keeping up on your gymnastics training, Billy. Good work." *eyes this monster for something squishy looking*

<DeathStar> 6* Scar shakes around. "Motion sickness."
* Chad`Winters looks backwards and fires a shot towards the Dark One.
<DeathStar> 6* The shot hits, but does no real damage.
<Freyja> 6Freyja eyes the others, then sits in the air all stabile-like. She calmly raises her hands, forms the bow and launches a straightforward light arrow at it.
* Drasek shifts from left to right, trying to keep his balance. "Bloody dark ones." he gumbles.
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis sits up finally.
<DeathStar> <Billy> Yep. 6* She beams, balancing easily
<DeathStar> 6* The shaking stops for now, though one end is not tilting at an angle slightly. Pretty soon, if it continues, they'll go sliding off.
<cassandra`> Ideas?!
* Chad`Winters starts to slide and he slide a blade into his right hand and slams it into the street. 1"Hang on."
<DeathStar> 6* Freyja's arrow connects and the monster roars.
* Freyja shifts her position and looses another.
* Drasek attempts to make a dash upwards towards the monster. Well, if upwards is the proper direction.
<Ariel> Setsuna> *fires a quick burst at the monster's eyes... or where they would be if it has none*
* cassandra` fires a grappling spike into the street section and then extends a line to anyone who can reach it.
<DeathStar> 6* The monster watches Drasek, then is hit in the eyes. It's momentarily blinded, so the sliding stops.
<Freyja> Two can play this game.
<DeathStar> 6* It is shot by Freyja, roaring again
* Freyja shifts to appear at a point behind it while it's blinded, focusing yet another arrow.
* Drasek comes running in, he attempts to get through the remaining tendrils as he cuts out for the Dark One.
<DeathStar> 6* Drasek manages to leap out and land on the DArk One, cutting into it. It oozes blood
* Drasek lets out a whistle. "Shouldn't you be bleedin some ooze there, mate?"
<DeathStar> <Scar> Right. Mock how the monster bleeds while we fall
<DeathStar> <Scar> HIT IT AGAIN YOU MORON
<Drasek> Right. *he cuts for its neck*
<DeathStar> 6* As Drasek cuts into it, the tendrils retract, dropping the platform toward the ground

* Chad`Winters eyes the sky move away faster. He looks at Zephyr. 1"Can you do it?"
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> No way.
<Chad`Winters> Shit. 6He stands up and helps Zephyr up.
* Drasek urks and tries to catch onto the monster, with one of the hidden blades.
<cassandra`> BRIGHT IDEAS?!
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr rises. "Maybe we'll be okay!"
<Freyja> 6Freyja descends after the falling earth, sighing.
<Freyja> 6Megumi clenches her teeth, holding onto her sword to stay... grounded now.
<DeathStar> 6* The monster flails about with Drasek on it
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr grips the platform. The lower end smashes into the earth finally, then the other half begins to fall

* Chad`Winters grabs onto his blade again.

<DeathStar> 6* Billy braces using Setsuna. She's fluffy
* Drasek attempts to wrap his legs around the Dark One, stabbing at it with his blades. "Just die, you git."
<Freyja> 6Freyja eyes the side of the platform hitting and quickly raises a hand, focusing with a whispered chant. She lifts her palm up, manifesting water from the bottomside up, hoping that will be enough to help most.
<DeathStar> 6* The platform tilts and splashes in water, somehow. It bobs.
<DeathStar> 6* Shretrav sighs in relief, looking a pale blue
<DeathStar> 6* The monster finally is defeated and falls with Drasek toward the earth. Poor Progenitor

<Freyja> 6Megumi puts her hands to the ground and extends crystal up toward Drasek, forming a gradual slope that curves to the horizontal.

* Drasek makes a sound and tries to gets up to his feet enough to leap onto the Dark One, to you know, ride it.

* Xrilesher glances back at them, stopping as he leans back against a wall " They are corrupted. Must be a reaction to the darkness. "

<DeathStar> 6* Katrina frowns. She isn't picking up on anything psionically.

<DeathStar> 6* As Xrileshir leans on the wall, he's repelled off, as dark barriers go up all around them, blocking their way forward, and back, and to the side
* Chii kneels and puts her hand to the ground, quickly forming the runic circle. She begins to draw in the evil/dark. 1"Sick of them hiding amongst themselves."

<DeathStar> 6* Darien peers about, but no attacks come in - it seems the Dark Ones have halted their progress forward only

* Chii stopped when she removed her hand, either way.

<Dias`> If it's a shield. We'll just have to break it down.
<Xrilesher> Never mind all of that. How are we going to get out of here?
* Marcus steps forward to observe the shield.
<DeathStar> 6* It's a barrer of dark energy.
* Dias` moves up beside Marcus. 1"Well Sidekick."

<Marcus> I could absorb the stuff. You know.
<Dias`> We should both absorb it.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl eyes the two of them.
<Marcus> Nah, you've used alot of your corruption. I should do it.
<Chii> I'm not so sure this is what we're used to dealing with. If it was, ...There's so much. I've been driven crazy by it before, right?
<Myria> Its possible that the atmosphere is so saturated that the dark energy is immediately replenished in the shields.
* Dias` waves his hand dismissively.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Not sure. But the Dark Ones don't do shit unless they have a game plan
* Dias` pulls his left hand back then steps forward, slamming it into the shield
<Xrilesher> Just get on with it. we're loosing valuable time.
* Marcus pulls up his dark claw and wiggles it, then slams it towards the shield as well.
<DeathStar> 6* Dias would feel it's full of the same corruption that's in him. As would Marcus. They could draw it into themselves
* Marcus tilts his head and tries to measure how much energy is there, just out of curiousity.
* Sally` stares a bit as she watches. "So what is this stuff?"
<Marcus> Same stuff that we use.
<DeathStar> 6* Impossible to tell.
<Chii> <Chii> The more people messing with it, the less it can repel any... Hrmph." 6She kneels and reactivates her circle.
<Dias`> 6Dias presses against it, letting the dark lines creep up along his hand and into his fingers.
* Marcus glances at Dias. "On 1?"

<Myria> Hmmm...I have a hypothesis. That this could be a trap to turn our allies against us.

* Marcus just tenses, clenching his teeth. He slumps slightly and then straitens up. "Yeah, fine. Let's go."

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl falls to her knees, holding her gut in pain. The barrier drops.
<Chii> <If we encounter any more of thse, don't touch them.>
* Dias` blinks than looks between his legs. 1"WHAT THE FUCK?! A TAIL?!"
* Marcus slowly glances at Dias and Cheryl and then looks down at himself.
* Sally` stiffens a little and looks at Dias. "The fuck... now that's evil."

* Chii moves over and looks over Cheryl, then glares at Sally

* Marcus snorts and laughs, pointing at Dias.

<DeathStar> 6* The Giant Dark One lifts it's hands, recovering barely, and begins to fire a dark beam at the team
<Marcus> * Theron fires another shot from the anti-dark one gun.
* Dias` pulls his left fist back then slams it into the Dark matter ball, sending it flying at the Giant Dark One at in insane speed. 1%
<Ariel> 6* Em aims a telekinetic blast at the dark one's head.
<DeathStar> 6* The dark matter ball impacts, and even at 1%, seems to be stopping it in it's place.
* Xrilesher growls as he ducks around behind another building for cover
* Marcus shifts his other arm forward, it glowing as well, he eyes Dias' attack and frowns.
<Chii> 6Chii moves and leaps, to spring from rubble to rubble to get higher, then leaps off it for the Dark One itself, drawing out both of her blades and activating them as she careens through the air, then scissors both blades for the head after the blasts are used.

* Sally` pulls out her anti-dark one rifle and charges it, aiming carefully.

She aims for its other foot, spinning around as she passes it, slashing with both blades, drawing on some of the dark energy she regained from Asmodeous' unjust departure, leaving trails of black as she does. Then focuses on getting ahead.

<Marcus> Yeah, yeah. *he leaps off of Dias and stumbles, attempting to regain himself and continue running.

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl begins to add her corruption levels up by expelling dark energy. When she reaches 100, she begins to transform, and Chii's bond with her would distort and become fragmented, as if the Dark Ones are trying to take her over through it

<DeathStar> 6* Dias would find himself walking, alone now after being pointed ahead by John, through a tunnel of darkness.
<DeathStar> 6* His left hand is fading slightly from view
* Dias` eyes his left hand then takes another step, running now.
<DeathStar> 6* Tendrils whip out him, trying to catch him.
* Dias` twists as he sprints, to keep out of their way
<DeathStar> 6* After working his way through the tunnel, his arm now fading, he reaches a twisted dark tree, with roots going deep into the ground, though the ground is see through, all the way down into an abyss below. It almost feels as if Dias is floating, or walking on a thin membrane. In the tree is Marcus
* Dias` looks up at the tree at Marcus. 1"It's time I fix what I caused in the first place Marcus."
<DeathStar> 6* The tree Marcus does not respond
* Dias` pulls his right hand back and slams it into the tree.
<DeathStar> 6* The tree begins to crack and break apart. Dias' entire left hand fades into a point it can't interact with the world anymore, and his left side begins to fade now.

* Dias` eyes his left side then quickly looks around.
<DeathStar> 6* The tree's roots whither up. Up ahead is another tunnel
* Dias` starts sprinting towards the tunnel.

<DeathStar> 6* Marcus' corruption fades away, his lines going away. A hand is left in the place of the missing one now, a normal one. He returns to consciousness

* Marcus slowly lifts himself, peering at himself. "What the..hell?"
<DeathStar> <Katrina> You're...normal again. 6* She touches his cheek.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stares at Marcus, then at the vortex surrounding them. Dias and Cheryl remain as they are.
* Marcus widen his eyes. "How?"

<Chii> Heheh... hehe..
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina hugs him tightly, her eyes watering a bit. "Thank God." 6* She whispers.

<Ariel> 6* Em frowns, and does her best to try to stablize Chii... but... really not her forte lately.
* Chii twists her head toward Myria, eyeing her almost... hungrily? She grins as people start to try and affect her head, returning the favor like Dark One's tend to do, but with her own manner, chewing at their insides. Granted with three she's culled to the point of clutching Cheryl possessively.
* Marcus glances at her, then Chii and Cheryl. He turns and walks over to Dias.

<DeathStar> 6* Dias reaches another twisted tree, most of his body gone now. Cheryl is all tied up in it as well. However, Cheryl speaks up behind him.

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl return to normal, with no lines of corruption. The attack on Chii ends. However, Cheryl seems to not have returned yet to her body.

* Chii inhales sharply and falls back, holding her head, heaving

* Marcus glances over at Cheryl and Chii, then looks back to Dias. "Come'on man."
<DeathStar> 6* However, his body is quickly hardening, as if energy is fading from it as well. It seems, he isn't going to be healed.
* Marcus widens his eyes. "No. Come'on. No."
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina moves over, supporting Chii. "Chii. You need to find Cheryl in your bond. Get her back to her body. We don't want to lose her."

<Marcus> * Theron peers at the vanishing vortex and then glances at the others.

<DeathStar> 6* The hardened body cracks and breaks up, revealing a non corrupted Dias under it

* Sally` looks over at Dias, she blinks a bit and walks over. "He's... better?"
