<Xanatos`Durran> Shame no one is named Alice. *he frowns at the co-pilots seat.*
<Chad`Winters> So that's where the party is. *he flicks several switches, prepping his side*
<Arhn> Evidently so...
<DeathStar> 6 *Darien flies up into space.
* Xanatos`Durran just has a regualar ol seat.
<Chad`Winters> You can drop the act Ambassador Arhnya.
<Xanatos`Durran> Yeah we know that Warren and Zephyr took the shuttle.
* Chad`Winters shakes his head as Xanatos speaks
<Arhn> And did I say anything to the contrary?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien continues to fly upward.
<Xanatos`Durran> No ma'am.
<Arhn> Mmm-hmmmm.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien enters space. He glances at a message from the cruiser. "Seems something exploded on the moon."
<Cassandra_Arakawa> If we're lucky, it was Xevil.
<Chad`Winters> Then I believe that's where we should investigate
<DeathStar> 6* Darien flies past the Tsivrixsh cruiser again.
<Ariel> "That is a nice thought."
<Chad`Winters> A hospitiable moon, interesing.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Helps me go to sleep some nights.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien flies to the moon, entering the atmosphere. It's a large jungle, it seems.
<Xanatos`Durran> I sure do love jungles.
* Chad`Winters begins running a scan for power sources and life signs
<DeathStar> 6* He locates the missing shuttle, at the site of the explosion it seems.
<DeathStar> 6* The jungle seems void of lifesigns, except at the spot where the shuttle and the explosion is located.
* Chad`Winters inputs the location to Dariens side.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien turns the shuttle in that location, flying toward it quickly.
<Chad`Winters> Planet's void of life except for our shuttle thiefs and the others.
<Arhn> A satellite of this mass should not be able to sustain and atmosphere...most curious...
<Ariel> "...odd for a jungle."
* Xanatos`Durran glances at Arhn.
<Chad`Winters> Stranger things have happened.
<DeathStar> 6* They fly overhead - indeed, below is a blown up Tsivrixsh shuttle, another Tsivrixsh shuttle, and DArien's shuttle.
<DeathStar> 6* And a two story structure that is reminsence of an Aztec temple of some sort.
<Arhn> I would have to suspect that this is all artificially maintained...
<Ceres> Elsiah> "Ahhh... Jungles... reminds me of the old days..."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien brings them down, landing beside his own shuttle.
<Chad`Winters> ...*looks at the temple, scanning it's scructure and make-up*
* Arhn unstraps herself and then undoes the fasteners on her gown, wearing her armored combat suit underneath.
<Chad`Winters> That's strange indeed Commodore.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien powers down to minimal power, then stands up. "Indeed. Lets see what's up." 6He lowers the ramp.
* Chad`Winters stands up, and moves towards the ramp.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps out, eyeing the firey remains of the Tsivrixsh shuttle. "Looks like someone set up an explosive. Someone who loves explosions did this, I think."
<Ceres> Elsiah> "With us, that could be anyone we know..."
* Chad`Winters pulls out his gun powering it up again as he steps off, he sweeps it aim across in an arc.
<Ariel> "...there are a lot of people in this universe who do like to blow things up."
* Xanatos`Durran pulls out his pistols as he steps off of the shuttle, glancing around the jungle.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Don't look at me. I have witnesses!
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes his shuttle, seeing it's fine.
<Chad`Winters> They'll be at the temple. *he begins move towards that way*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien then moves over to the remaining shuttle, seeing porn magazines and beer cans inside.
* Ariel follows Darien, glancing inside as well. She stops. "...I will refrain from comment." And quickly starts towards the temple.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shakes his head, then moves toward the temple.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> I think we all know who those belong to...
* Xanatos`Durran moves with the others toward the temple.
* Chad`Winters makes his way through the jungle, weaving between the tree's and overa nything that get's in his way.
<DeathStar> 6* As Chad arrives at the entrance of the temple, it seems a recent cut was made into the stone.
* Arhn proceeds forward to the temple...
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves up the stairs of the temple and glances inside the darkness inside. "We'll need a light."
* Chad`Winters follws along side Darien, he reaches into a pouch and pulls out a small flashlight and attaches it to his gun, turning it on.
<Chad`Winters> Someone fought here recently...
<DeathStar> <Darien> I see no signs of fighting.
* Chad`Winters motions to the cut in a piece of stone.
* Xanatos`Durran pulls his eyepatch off and slides it into his pocket.
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... that's not a fight scar. It's a marker. 6He looks up. "Basic military proceedure if you might need to find our way back out."

<Chad`Winters> ...*pauses* Noted.
<Ariel> "...Zephyr better be alright."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Or if someone thought we might need to find our way in.
* Chad`Winters aims his gun into the darkness, it lighting up. 1"I'll keep an eye out for them then."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien motions Chad on inside.
<Xanatos`Durran> Times a wastin. *he eyes Chad*
* Chad`Winters steps inside, making his way into the temple, his eyes constantly looking around.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien follows after him, walking along behind him as he gazes around. Footprints can be seen in the dusty ground.
<DeathStar> 6* They come to wall, with a path going left, and one going right.
* Ariel stays close behind, keeping her senses peeled for... well, anything.
* Xanatos`Durran glances from left to right. He looks for a marker of some sort.
* Chad`Winters looks at the ground, eyeing the footprints
<DeathStar> 6* All the various footprints seem to go right.
* Ceres is so quiet she doesn't even seem to be there, in fact form time to time, she vanishes for a bit, scouting, mask on.
<DeathStar> NRP: CERES?! AAAH
<Chad`Winters> Footprints go right...

<Xanatos`Durran> I guess thats the way we should go.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods, glancing down the right tunnel.
* Chad`Winters turns to the right and begins walking, his eyes glancing around as he follows the foot steps in his peripheal vision.
<DeathStar> 6* The footprints begin to vanish as the dust does. Soon, they have no more footprints as they move down the tunnel, arriving at another left or right scenario.
* Xanatos`Durran once again checks for some type of marking.
<DeathStar> 6* There is indeed one on the left.
<Xanatos`Durran> Mark here on the left. *he points it out*
* Chad`Winters turns, following down the left as Xanatos speaks up.l
* Xanatos`Durran continues on behind Chad, pistols up and ready for a fight.
<Ariel> "Warren's doing, if I had to guess."
<Chad`Winters> Would have to be.
<DeathStar> <Darien> We just have to hope he picked the right path...
<Arhn> I wonder what is so important here...
<Xanatos`Durran> Maybe its some huge Deathray?
<Ariel> "I would rather bet on his judgement, than against."
<Chad`Winters> Important enough for Xevil to come here.
<DeathStar> 6* The ground moves softly under Durran's feet. Suddenly, a large metal disc flies out of the wall, trying to behead him, Darien, and Chad.
<Xanatos`Durran> HEADS! *he falls back toward the ground*
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Looks like someone doens't want visitors...
* Chad`Winters leans back planting his hands on the ground as he lets the metal disk go over him.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien ducks, assuming that meant heads up.
<DeathStar> 6 *The metal disc vanishes again into the wall.
* Ariel freezes as the disc whips by her, though never in danger of hitting her
<Xanatos`Durran> Umm. I suggest we have a nimble person go first....
* Elsiah ducks as well, holding her hands out, ready
<Chad`Winters> ...*shoves himself back up into a stand*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien crawls along the ground for a time, then gets to his feet, looking back at the others.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Watch your step.
<Chad`Winters> I'm fine. *continues on moving, lighting up his step as he walks*
* Xanatos`Durran pulls himself up to his feet, he glances down at the ground, eyeing where he stepped to see if there was any distinct difference in the ground.
<DeathStar> 6* Indeed. It looks a slightly off color.
<Xanatos`Durran> Hmm. The panel seems a lighter color than the others, so be on the lookout.
<Chad`Winters> Noted.
* Xanatos`Durran steps forward now, much more careful than before.
* Chad`Winters moves back to his normal pace, eyeing the floor as he walks
<DeathStar> 6* As they continue, they arrive to another hallway that goes only left. Darien waits for Chad so he can use his light.
* Chad`Winters comes to a stop beside Darien then shines the light down to the left
<DeathStar> 6* There's light up ahead, appearing and vanishing. In fact, it's flames, coming from the floors and walls.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Seems someone activated a trap for us.
* Chad`Winters nods his head towards the lights flickering.
* Xanatos`Durran comes to a halt behind the two. "Fun fun.."
<Ariel> "How considerate of them."
* Chad`Winters makes his way towards the flames.
<DeathStar> 6* As they arrive at the beginning of the flames, which seem to vanish, then come back, all at different times, making it seem impassible, they can see a bit of a burnt brown coat on the floor.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Looks like someone didn't make it.
<Xanatos`Durran> No I think they just lost their coat.
<DeathStar> <Darien> And I can guess they're the one who activated this.
* Chad`Winters stops at the edge where the flames start.
* Xanatos`Durran glances at Chad. "There any type of pattern to it?"
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Hmmm...
* Chad`Winters tilts his head to the right as he watches the flames shoot out, he moves his hand to quiet Xanatos
* Xanatos`Durran waits.
<DeathStar> 6* There would be a timing to it, it seems. Though it'll take a few moments to figure it out.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Hmmm..
* Chad`Winters moves his left hand around as if figuring something
* Elsiah watches closely, trying to get the timing down.
* Chad`Winters takes a deep breathe then waits for the 1st flame and waits 5 seconds then takes two steps forward and waits 3 seconds, 5 steps forward, waits 6 seconds, 1 step forward waits 2 seconds, moves 4 steps foward waits 2 then dives forward into a roll.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien watches Chad, then glances at the wall, pausing. "Hell." 6He sees numbers written on the wall matching Chad's timing.
* Ariel looks to Darien, "What is it?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... nothing.
<Xanatos`Durran> That didn't look very fun...
<Xanatos`Durran> There anything over there to just shut this off Chad?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes the numbers again, then follows the exact proceedure to arrive on the other side.
* Chad`Winters rolls to a stop and aims his gun into the darkness infront of him, it seems he can't hear over the roaring flames.
* Elsiah follows suit, mimicking Chad's movements
<DeathStar> 6* Darien wipes his forehead as he arrives on the other side with Elisah.
* Xanatos`Durran glances at Ariel. Then eyes the wall, glancing back at the flames from time to time.
* Ariel waits a moment to see if there's any sign of the fire being turned off, then uncomfortably mimics Chad and Darien's path across the flames.
* Chad`Winters stands up, he glances around quickly for anything that looks like a switch.
* Cassandra_Arakawa then picks up Arhn and then crosses with the timing!
<DeathStar> 6* There is no sign of a swithc.
<Arhn> Ack!
* Xanatos`Durran frowns at the 3 go and then counts in his head, waiting for the right time before going with the time that Chad wrote on the wall.
<Ariel> NRP: Well, the roll part is going to be interesting
* Chad`Winters moves away from the flames and a little farther down into the hallway.
<Chad`Winters> NRP: Chad never wrote anything
<Xanatos`Durran> NRP: Well whoever wrote that on the wall.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien watches Cassandra roll with Arhn into safety.
* Chad`Winters continues walking down the hallway, still eyeing the floor for switches
<Arhn> Warn me next time!
* Cassandra_Arakawa just whistles innocently.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves along with Chad. They arrive at a set of stairs.
* Xanatos`Durran rolls across the ground and slides up to his feet, he dusts himself off for a second, then pulls his pistols back up.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks down the stairs, leading into the darkness below.
<Chad`Winters> Fun fun...*he begins moving down the steps, his gun kept in front of him as he walks down them*
* Ariel catches up, "..trapped?"
* Xanatos`Durran steps after the others, he glances at Chad as they move down.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien follows Chad further into the strange place.
* Elsiah moves behind Darien, her arms positioned to release her blades at a moments notice.
<DeathStar> 6* And so, our heroes braved many, many traps, and braved horrible death traps...and end up further into the temple.
<Chad`Winters> This place is reminescent of early South American temples.
<Elsiah> "You know, some say all our pyramids and temples and such were the work of alien cultures..."
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, a fist comes flying around the corner for Chad's face.
* Chad`Winters spins his gun and punches the fist with the butt of his pistol.
<DeathStar> 6* The fist is knocked off course and John slides around the edge, holding up his hands.
<DeathStar> <John> Oh. It's you guys.
<Ariel> "...nice to see you too."
* Chad`Winters spins his gun back the way it was, his light shining in John's face.
<DeathStar> 6* John adjusts his burnt coat.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Sohave you guys seen a Tsiv anywhere?
<Chad`Winters> What's the scoop?
<DeathStar> <John> Um, just admiring the paintings. Well, got to go. 6He smiles, then turns and runs around the corner into the darkness.
* Xanatos`Durran eyes him run off.
<Chad`Winters> ....*turns around teh corner and shines his light down the hallway*
<DeathStar> 6* John takes a right, in another left-right path.
<Chad`Winters> Come on. *he sprints down the hallway, firing a plasma shot at the right side of the path as takes a right down that*
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Well..nice to see some things don't change..
<DeathStar> 6* Darien hurries after Chad.
<DeathStar> 6* John runs through a path that is shooting arrows. He somehow gets through it.
* Xanatos`Durran moves after Chad. "You sure that he knows where he is going?"
* Chad`Winters eyes the arrows, figuring out the timing.
<Chad`Winters> No.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shakes his head as he eyes the latest trap.
<DeathStar> 6* The timing is simple on this one. Even an idiot could get through it
<Xanatos`Durran> NRP: Oh god.
<Ariel> "...he's good at setting these off."
* Xanatos`Durran eyes the timing of the arrows.
* Chad`Winters comes upto it, he catches the timing and slides through it.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien hurries through it, arriving at the other side while panting.
* Chad`Winters pivots his foot and stands up into a sprint, he then keeps going down the hallway.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien runs after him. They come to another path, left or right. It's impossible to say where John went.
* Ariel darts after, a little surprised at how basic that trap was
<Cassandra_Arakawa> ...commodore...permission to punch him in the face?
* Xanatos`Durran gets it down and moves on after Chad and Darien.
<DeathStar> <Darien> We'll see.
* Chad`Winters eyes teh ground , looking around for anything.
<Chad`Winters> ...Damnt'...*shines his light on the wall, looking for a cut*
<DeathStar> 6* There appears to be none. Warren obviously didn't follow this path.
* Xanatos`Durran glances around, looking for some sign as well.
<Chad`Winters> ...Warren didn't come this way...
<Xanatos`Durran> Hmmm. I knew John didn't know where he was going.
<Chad`Winters> I never told you to follow me.
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... Well, we should try to find John anyway.
<Xanatos`Durran> Hmm. Left or right?
<Chad`Winters> He's faster than I thought. I don't know which way to guess. *he shines his flashlight down both ways, looking*
<DeathStar> 6* The entire place begins to shake.
<Xanatos`Durran> ...not good. *he glances around*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leans on the wall as the place shakes. It feels as if they're rising out of the ground.
* Chad`Winters looks at Darien. 1"What do you think?
<DeathStar> <Darien> Not sure. But I don't think John did this.
<Elsiah> "Typically I'd expect a falling sensation... not a rising one... doncha think?"
<Chad`Winters> Of course not....*takes a deep breathe then starts moving down the left path*
* Ariel pauses, closing her eyes to concentrate
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Maybe something is buried under the temple...
<Ariel> "...the temple is moving."
<Xanatos`Durran> Well Darien, what shsould we do/
<Xanatos`Durran> ?
<DeathStar> <Darien> There's no turning back now. Lets go. 6He follows Chad.
* Chad`Winters continues down the left path, everythign getting darker as he walks away from the group.
<DeathStar> 6* The traps seem to have been deactivated now.
* Xanatos`Durran moves on after Chad.
<DeathStar> 6* An explosion can be heard nearby.
* Chad`Winters picks up his pace, moving faster.
* Ariel proceeds to hurry as well
* Xanatos`Durran speeds up as well.
<DeathStar> 6* They come to a right tunnel. Up ahead machines can be seen, very advanced. And very exploding.
* Chad`Winters steps into the tunnel, eyeing the machines as he heads towards the exploding machiens.
* Xanatos`Durran stops, deciding that walking toward exploding machines is bad.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps inside. It seems to be a control room. With a tube in the middle, that seems empty now - and moves upward into the ceiling. Doors can be seen closing - and Ry and John in them. An elevator. But it's too late, they're gone now.
<Arhn> What has occurred here?!
<Chad`Winters> ...Damn't.
* Chad`Winters slides to a stop.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren steps in from another entrance into the room, with Zephyr. "Hell."
* Ariel hesitates, "...what are those two doing?"
<Arhn> Warren!
<DeathStar> 6* Monitors show the jungle. It seems to be on fire now, burning into a firey inferno.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Arhn! You came here, too!?
* Elsiah pulls off her mask, "Gah..."
<Arhn> Of course.
<DeathStar> 6* One monitor shows the temple, now a tower above the firey infero, has Xevil on top, with some machines that have appeared.
* Chad`Winters eyes the monitors. 1"The propulsion system of this...ship...seems to have ignited the jungle system.
* Chad`Winters moves over to where the elevator is, then looks around for another one.
<DeathStar> 6* An elevator appears and Ry and John can be seen on top of the structure. Xevil seems to be pulling out some dark energy from the tube into a vial for himself.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren moves over, eyeing the monitor. Zephyr stares at it. "He seems to be extracting something from this place."
<Cassandra_Arakawa> I say we get up there and kick his tail.
* Chad`Winters runs his hand along the wall, trying to activate the elevator to bring it back down.
<DeathStar> <Darien> If we fight him, we'll be starting a galactic war.
<Xanatos`Durran> Then why the hell did we come this far if we hadn't planned on it?
<DeathStar> <Darien> I came for the reason he came here.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Hello! He just set fire to the moon of a non-aligned race! Besides, I don't think the Tsiv Empire even knows what he is up to!
<Chad`Winters> Rylon will fight him since he's no longer affiliated with anything.
<DeathStar> 6* The elevator can be seen heading back down after John and Ry step off.
<Xanatos`Durran> Well then what? We just going to go watch?
<Ariel> "I pray they succeed... but, prehaps we can learn something from here."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Hardly. We need to escape. 6He grabs his datapad, summoning his shuttle.
<DeathStar> 6* The machines continue to explode in the room. It seems this structure is doomed to be destroyed now.
<DeathStar> <Warren> ...
<DeathStar> 6* Warren turns as the elevator doors open.
* Chad`Winters moves onto the elevator, waving everyone over. 1"Hurry up!"
<DeathStar> 6* Warren steps inside with Zephyr.
* Xanatos`Durran dashes into the elevator, not liking explosions.
* Ariel hesitates, but then proceeds after
* Arhn moves over to the elevator!
* Cassandra_Arakawa does too!
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps inside, working on his datpad.
<Chad`Winters> I want to know what he was grabbing.
<DeathStar> <Warren> From what Zephyr and I could determine, there was something hidden in this temple. But Xevil's already gotten it.
<DeathStar> 6* The elevator zooms upward.
<Arhn> Any idea what?
<DeathStar> <Warren> I'm afraid not. But I'm guessing it's whatever he removed from that tube.
<DeathStar> 6* The tower shakes again.
<Chad`Winters> If it was in a suspended tube, it's definetly not a 'safe' substance.
<DeathStar> 6* The elevators door open, showing John, Ry, and Xevil all on the roof, surrounded by fire. Darien's shuttle floats off to the side.
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil eyes everyone arriving. "Well, if it isn't all of PAX."
* Chad`Winters runs out of the elevator and towards the ring of fire.
<Elsiah> "Well, there's your shuttle boss..."
<Chad`Winters> What's your game Xevil.
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, a Tsivrixsh shuttle flies down near the building. Skaad seems to be in it.
<DeathStar> <Xevil> I'm afraid I have nothing to say to you miserible creatures. 6He pulls out his xvash, swinging it in his hand.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren steps out, narrowing his eyes. He grabs his gun.
<DeathStar> <Warren> XEVIL!!!!
<Arhn> NRP: Then the dark energy explodes and tentacle molests Xevil!
* Rylon looks back, noticing the others..causing him to sigh. 14"I guess they did follow"
<DeathStar> <John> Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> ...thanks a ton, McCormick...
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil eyes Warren. "You remember, don't you? Glorious." 6He laughs with delight.
* Chad`Winters reaches into his pocket and hurls something at the Tsiv shuttle.
<DeathStar> 6* Everyone stares at Chad throwing something at the shuttle.
<Chad`Winters> NRP: It's small!
<Ariel> NRP: It's in sloooooo mooooooo!
* Xanatos`Durran glances around at everyone.
<DeathStar> NRP: I still think you throwing something would be noticed.
<Chad`Winters> NRP: Hardly.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren approaches Xevil, aimingh is gun at Xevil's head.
<Chad`Winters> NRP: Chad's crazy, his actions can't be explained
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh shuttle ramp lowers.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Warren! If you fire, you'll be starting something we don't need happening!
<DeathStar> 6* The tower shakes again. This place isn't going to last much longer.
<Rylon> 14"Not if I do!!" 2His pistol comes forward, and begins to rapidly fire out plasma blasts at Xevil, and into the lowered ramp of the shuttle.
* Ariel grits her teeth. Firing is something she'd love to do herself
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil moves out of the way. "A gun, Rylon? Is this what you're reduced to?"
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh shuttle turns, with Ry firing a gun, and fires a blast into the roof.
* Chad`Winters leaps back and towards the edge of the tower. 1"We need to get out of here before this place collapses.
* Rylon quickly pushes him off to the side. 14"You arn't playing fair..why should I?" 2He stares at the gunshot in his leg.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren is knocked off balance by the attack as the roof cracks. He hits the ground, rolling. Darien is knocked toward the edge. Zephyr mantains his balance.
<Chad`Winters> NRP: AHH SHE'S A HE!
<DeathStar> <Xevil> Ha ha ha. 6He swings his xvash around. "That's fine. I can outshoot you with my shuttle."
<DeathStar> NRP: GASP
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Damn it! Sir, we need to evacuate now!
<DeathStar> 6* John looks around.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Everyone, get to my shuttle. 6He lowers the ramp with the datapad, flying it in closer.
<Rylon> 14"You finally want to play fair?" 2He tosses his pistol off to the side, and comes out with his saber.
<DeathStar> <Xevil> I'll end this right here, Rylon.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Move it, people!
<DeathStar> <John> You need help, Ry?
<Arhn> Warren!
* Ariel looks to Zephyr, "Get yourself and Warren onto the shuttle first."

* Chad`Winters puts his pistol away and leaps backwards and onto the ramp. 1"This isn't your fight Warren, not yet."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr nods. She moves over and grabs Warren. Warren eyes her, then grinds his teeth as he lets himself be led back to the shuttle. He leaps over onto Darien's ramp with Zephyr.
<DeathStar> 6* John turns and leaps over onto Darien's shuttle.
* Xanatos`Durran goes to get tonto the shuttle.
* Arhn scrambles on to the ramp and into the shuttle.

<DeathStar> 6* Warren leans back out, staring back at Xevil. He grinds his teeth. "Next time, Xevil..."

* Ariel head over as well, but goes no further than the door as she waits for the Commodore
* Rylon takes a step toward Xevil, spinning his saber. 14"I'll make sure to end it long before you do.."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien stands there a moment, then hurries over and leaps onto the ramp.
<DeathStar> <Xevil> Then you may try.
* Cassandra_Arakawa leaps into the shuttle
<DeathStar> 6* Warren moves back further into the shuttle, taking the co-pilot seat and incidentally the guns. He gets ready in case the Tsivrixsh shuttle tries anything.
* Chad`Winters stands on the ramp, watching the slow fight before.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien gets into his pilot's seat, flying them away a few meters, but keeping them within visual range of the tower.
<Rylon> 14"There isn't going to be any trying!" 2He breaks off into a run, approaching Xevil at full speed now..letting the new strength push him at full bore. He quickly spins his saber out, trying to horizontally slash at his opponent. Using his own momentum he would take a step backwards..ready for a counter attack.
* Ariel resists the temptation to have Zephyr shoot down the Tsiv shuttle, and takes her seat.
<Chad`Winters> John, what was in that tubE?
<DeathStar> <John> Something black. Some sort of energy substance. I didn't get a good look.
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil parries the attack easily. He stands there as the tower shakes. "I estimate we have less than five minutes left."
* Rylon shoots his leg forward, trying to bring a leg out to trip up his opponent.
<DeathStar> <John> But he has it on him, whatver it is.
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil leaps to the side, swinging his xvash at Ry's head.
<Arhn> I doubt it can be good for the galaxy at large if Xevil wants it.
* Ariel nods, "I must concur."
<DeathStar> <John> He got special permission to be here. I'm talking, this mission is highly classified.
<Chad`Winters> An energy substance that's remained in that temple for how long...It must be quite powerful indeed...*he looks down at Xevil, as if trying to find where it is on him*
<DeathStar> <John> We had to torture people to learn of this mission.
<Rylon> 2Ry rolls his head downwards, letting it fly above his head. Moving fluently, one step was taken forward, and he brought his saber forward to slice toward a hopefully exploses stomach.

<DeathStar> 6* Xevil swings his xvash around to block the attack, and lock his weapon with Ry's. He pushes against Ry, trying to knock him off his feet and hopefully disarm his saber into the fire around them.
* Elsiah climbs into the shuttle, shaking her head, "They always have to do this... fight fight fight... that's my job damnit!"
<DeathStar> 6* Warren seems to be watching the fight. He certainly seems to have the emotions of someone who has been tortured for months and wants to kill his torturer.
<Rylon> 2Rylon pushes with his own strength, that determination burning within those eyes. There was no wavering in his form, even with the injury. He pushed forward with his own strength, trying to literally push his opponent backwards. 14"If I havn't finished you in 5 minutes, then I deserve to die!"
<DeathStar> <Xevil> Ha ha ha. 6Xevil keeps his ground. He kicks at Ry's chest.
* Chad`Winters cups his hands around his mouth. 1"RY! TRY TO HIT THE CONTAINER THATS HIDING ON HIM!"
* Arhn reaches over and takes a hold of Warren's hand//
<DeathStar> 6* Warren looks at Arhn. He stares into her eyes, then squeezes her hand gently, nodding once to her.
* Rylon suddenly steps backwards, purposly releasing all his power in the sword. The end result would cause Xevil to shoot forward, and Ry to drop his own saber. Quickly he moved off to the side, cupping his palms. When the kick would occur, it drives right into readied hands..which spin and attempt to bring him into a series of uncontrollable spins.
<DeathStar> 6 *Xevil is spun up into the air and slams onto the roof harshly. The structure shakes again, more unstable than before.
<DeathStar> 6* John watches the fight, rooting for Ry.
<Chad`Winters> Intersting move.
<DeathStar> 6* One of the Tsivrixsh soldiers move to the edge of their ramp, holding a rifle ready
* Rylon uses his own mometum, directing a kick at Xevils hand to completely disarm him. If successful, he would spin on his opponents hand, trying to bring down an axe kick at Xevils throat.
<Xanatos`Durran> Who is the best shot here?
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil loses his xvash, but he moves out of the way of the axe kick. He suddenly spins and rams his elbow into Ry's back.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Zephyr.
<Chad`Winters> We can't shoot Xan, Ry's no longer part of PAX.
<Xanatos`Durran> So you're going to let the Tsiv shoot him?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes the readings. "This moon is losing oxygen quickly. Pretty soon we'll be orbiting a hunk of lifeless rock."
<Arhn> This is horrific...
* Ariel speaks quietly, "...I'd like to shoot them all myself, but that'd be no better than..."
<Chad`Winters> The fire's consuming it at a rather fast pace.
* Rylon tumbles forward from the impact, and pulls a knife from his boot. It gets tossed directly at Xevil, but it would miss him entirely..and go straight for the throat of the Tsi on the ramp.
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh falls to his demise in the flames. Xevil rises. "He was a fool for interrupting this anyway."
<DeathStar> 6* Indeed, the smoke filled air is making the battle impossible to watch almost.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> I doubt that Tsiv would have lived even if Xevil does win anyway. Xevil wouldn't be happy about someone punking Ry instead of him having the honor of the kill.
* Rylon circles Xevil now, his hands brought up in a readied stance. 14"You should learn to control your lackies a little before.." 2He hoped on his right leg, tossing a left spin kick at his face.
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil blocks the attack, then tries to punch Ry hard in the face. He's better than any Tsivrixsh has fought so far.

<DeathStar> 6* John eyes the fight through the increasingly growing smoke. "Dammit, I can't see."
* Rylon brings his hand forward, letting it slam into a readied palm. Knocking it to the side, he countered by swinging the open palm directly torward Xevils nose.
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil ducks the attack, then tries to spin kick Ry up into the air.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Scanners indicate they're both still alive.
<Arhn> Ry's training seems to have paid off...
* Chad`Winters seems to be watching intently at the smoke, wether it can see or is just zoning out is hard to tell.
* Rylon had little chance against the attack, and shifted so that the kick would slam into his left rib cage. It slams viciously against it, but his hand would snap downwards, enclosing the leg inside. He screamed and pressed downwards, trying to completely rip his opponents leg from his socket, and follow up with a soccer kick at his stomach.
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil's leg is enclosed, but his leg is hardly removed from his socket. The soccer kick slams into his stomach harshly, but Xevil grabs the leg in return and brings his elbow down on it, fracturing the bone.
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... 6He brings up the life readings of both Xevil and Rylon, showing the damage as each does it to their body. He also keeps the structure on the side of the wall. It has less than 3 minutes left, judging by the war the tower is cracking.

* Rylon didn't show pain, as the fracture occured as a result. Instead he channeled it, and spun with his leg still in Xevils grasp. A heel spin kick is sent directly at the side of his face.
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil is knocked up and slides along the roof close to the firey edge.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr watches with her eyes, as if she can see the fight.
* Rylon flipped clumsily to his feet, and rushed directly torward Xevil. His hand lashed out, attempting to grasp at Xevils throat, and lock him against the ground.
* Chad`Winters looks over at Zephyr. 1"Can you see anything?

<Chad`Winters> Who's got the advantage?
<DeathStar> 6 *Xevil's throat is grabbed, but he quickly, while Ry is grabbing him, sends a thunderous punch of power at Ry's nose, aiming to break it for him.
* Elsiah puts her mask back on, switching from infrared to electrical signature, tracking the fight by life signs.
* Rylon gets his face sent to the side, the bone breaking within. But he countered quickly, letting off a blood howl. With his free hand, he tried to send an equally powerful punch at his opponents frontal ribcage, meaning to break a few bones inside
<DeathStar> 6 *Xevil grunts in pain as the punch shatters his body armor and damaging his ribs.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> They are even.
<DeathStar> 6* The tower shakes again suddenly, and the way Ry stands over him, it threatens to send him over the edge into the fire.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Less than 2 minutes left.
* Rylon begins to bring his hand forward with another readied punch..but he quickly sees his position. One leg dropped downwards, trying to slam against xevil in the exact same spot he punched. Using him as a spring board, he would flip backwards..blood dripping down from his nose.
* Xanatos`Durran eyes the smoke and sighs lightly.
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil is used as a spring board. He forces himself to his feet, then eyes his pierced body armor. He picks up the fractured vial - the black substance dropping along his body into his cuts and wounds. He eyes Ry, then begins to laugh.
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... 6He watches as the life signs for Xevil go haywire. He shakes his head.
<Chad`Winters> What's going on now Zeph?
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> .... it seems Xevil is infected by whatever he came to get.
<Elsiah> "Good or bad... we've yet to tell."
* Rylon narrows his eyes, and places a hand against each side of his nose. He snaps it to the side, putting his nose back in place rather painfully. 14"I don't care..gain all the power you want...I will not fail"
<Elsiah> "I don't like how his signature keeps spiking."
<DeathStar> <Xevil> You fool. You don't know what possiblely courses through my veins.
<Ariel> "...my guess is, bad."
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil takes a few steps forward, then collapses in pain. He roars in agony.
<Rylon> 14"Something..you can't handle.."
<DeathStar> <Xevil> Har..Hardly...
<DeathStar> <Xevil> I just need...more time...
<DeathStar> 6* Darien shakes his head as basically it seems Xevil's readings are near flatlining. He looks at the others. "I have no idea what's happening."
<Chad`Winters> Zeph?
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> It seems Xevil is in agony.
<Rylon> 2A calm went over his form, as he switched his battle stances. His closed fists being replaced by open palms, slowly he started his approach on Xevils. 14"Then get up!"
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil continues to kneel there, taking ragged breaths.
<DeathStar> 6* The tower shudders again, tilting slightly.
* Rylon started to rapidly pace forward, directly approaching Xevil. 14"GET...UP!!!"
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil suddenly dashes forward, grabbing Ry by the throat and slamming him head first into the ground, driving him through the stone. "YOU ARE A FOOL, ERUSIAN DOG."

<Cassandra_Arakawa> Damn it! Ry should have finished the bastard!
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> That impact might have broken Ry's neck. 6She says worriedly.
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil begins to walk away, his victory self-assured in his mind.
<Elsiah> "Ry's style isn't like mine, he doesn't know when to jsut end it."
<Chad`Winters> He fought with honor atleast then Elsiah.
<Rylon> 2His head gets smashed right into the stone, leaving a nice sized intent inside. But amazingly, he wasn't dead. Slowly his head was pulled from the ground, his bones screaming..ready to die. 14"..I-I'm..not done.." 2He said
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes the scans, seeing that Ry's lifesignature doesn't indicate a break in the neck.
<DeathStar> 6* Xevil whips around to eye Ry in shock. "That should have killed you."
<DeathStar> 6* Less than a minute remains now. The tower shakes repeatedly and violently.
<Elsiah> "Different kinds of honor, some of us simply fill a role, that's where we earn our honor."
<Elsiah> "ANyways... better alive then honored dead."
<DeathStar> <Xevil> ... 6He relaxes. "Perhaps you are a truly an honorable creature, Rylon."
<DeathStar> 6* He waits for Ry to recover.
<Chad`Winters> You apparently don't know the true meaning of honor.
<Elsiah> "Can't say I've ever committed treason."
<Chad`Winters> Try it sometime, you might like it.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> ... 6She watches the battle, her head tilted.
<Rylon> 14"Should have..but I learned a few things during my lifetime..." 2He turned around to face Xevil, a powerful haze now around his form. Slowly he pushed power into his form, causing his muscles to buldge slightly. He stared at Xevil almost blindly, his hearing and other senses starting to increase to amazing lengths.
* Elsiah doesn't move from her relaxed positon, wathcing through her mask
<DeathStar> <Xevil> ... 6He holds up his fists, waiting for the attakc.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien watches as Ry's signatures begin to match evenly in power and speed.
<DeathStar> <John> Here we go...
<DeathStar> <Darien> Is he really going to try to mimic that move the Erusian master used on Aielin?
<Arhn> Has he any choice...?
<Chad`Winters> ...I remember that move...
<DeathStar> <Xevil> All or nothing, Ry? If you miss, you're finished.
* Rylon held up a palm toward Xevil, that calm expression never leaving him. He continued to stand there, channeling more energy into his form. A few steps were taken forward, beginning his approach on Xevil.
<DeathStar> 6* Ry's body, the longer he holds the power, begins to sap the strength he's gathered, and his muscles begin to twitch in agony.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien eyes the life signs. "He's losing it already."
<DeathStar> 6* The tower suddenly makes a horrible cracking sound. It begins to tilt back and forth, as if balancing precariously.
<Rylon> 2He shot forward in a blow, letting off a battle cry. His hair wavering behind him, one hand suddenly shot forward at incredible speed and power, attemping to rip right through Xevil. At least that was the idea, but Ry feinted the power in that attack..having none. Instead his right leg suddenly sweeped upwards, channeling all his energy and strength, trying to slam right into Xevils side.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> It would appear this fight is over. 6She says softly.
<DeathStar> 6* The punch hits Xevil - and does nothing. Xevil stands there, confused, then is suddnenly kicked. He flips up into the air and over the edge into the flames, right as the tower snaps in half and falls.
<DeathStar> 6 *DArien watches the lifesigns bottom out, Ry having nothing in his attack. He looks back in confusion. "What happened?"
<Arhn> Do something!
<Chad`Winters> WE need to get down there to get him!
* Ariel stays quiet, listening for the results.
<Rylon> 2He could do nothing, and fell with the pillar.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien grabs his controls, having lost track of Ry's life signs in the smoke.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Zephyr! Use this to tag Ry! *holds up her grappler and tosses it toward Zephyr*
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr grabs the grappler, then aims it into the smoke and fires into it.
<Cassandra_Arakawa> ...come on and live...or I'll holde a seance just to punch your lights out!
<DeathStar> 6* She then tenses, and begins to pull something up. Ry begins to appear in the smoke and flames. Zephyr got him.
<DeathStar> 6* The Tsivrixsh shuttle has already retreated.
* Chad`Winters reaches over and begins pulling on the rope, giving Zephyr a hand.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien looks back. "We're almost out of air. We need to go now."
* Ariel starts clearing room, making sure there's place for Ry to rest.
* Rylon looks around, noticing he is getting rigged up.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr pulls Ry into the shuttle with Chad's help, then closes the ramp for Darien, giving him a thumbs up. "Hoohaw, sir." 6Darien quickly zooms away from the burning moon.
* Chad`Winters looks over at Zephyr. 1"Hoohaw?
<Cassandra_Arakawa> Well, ladies and gents...hope the locals aren't pissed off about their moon turning into a poor man's star...
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Military term.
<Chad`Winters> You need to stop studying those engineers.

<Rylon> 2Technically killed more then one, but we'll leave that to the dust. He was bandaged up after the attack. 14"I am no longer an Erusian citizen, nor a soldier. I did what I had to do, and am willing to accept the consequences.."
* Chad`Winters walks into the observation deck, dressed in casual attire, which happen to be slacks and a white tank-top.

<DeathStar> 6* Warren turns to look at Arhn now, his shift changing a bit.

* Ariel blinks, "Smile?" She looks confused for a bit, then trys to do her best, but it's a hard thing to do on command.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren tilts his head back, as if considering something. "But it would be in appropriately to do on duty, I suppose."

<DeathStar> 6* Warren reaches into his military vest and pulls out the tickets they used to get into the opera that night. "I was just thinking back to this night."
* Ariel shakes her head, smirking a little now, "Well... it seems one of us got some enjoyment out of that."

<DeathStar> <Warren> Yes. 6He says, placing the tickets down on her desk.
<Chad`Winters> Sounds good. *he gives her a smile* I believe I need to take my power nap before my shift comes around.

<Chad`Winters> Hahaha, we'll see how good you are soon enough. *he turns walking off*

<DeathStar> <Darien> So, I was thinking about learning how to do that hazy punch thing Ry does. I figure it will intimidate my foes into thinking I'm cool."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren shifts. "Well, that's a start." 6He turns to leave.
<Ceres> "So... ummm... what to talk about..."
* Ariel pauses, "Chances are, you are more likely to look foolish, while you give your enemies an opening to attack."
<DeathStar> <John> Oh, I'm sure we won't have to do much talking.
<DeathStar> <Darien> True. In the end, it was just a bluff on Ry's part, anyway.

<DeathStar> 6* Warren glances back at her, then nods once. "Thank you." 6He turns and walks back over to her, tilting his head so it's leaning against her's.
<Ariel> "It was effective as such. But he was fortunate."
<Rylon> 2Steps into the cafeteria, as if hearing Dariens comment. He adjusted his hands in his pocket, stopping in the back of Darien and leaning forward slightly.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yes. We don't know much about what happened there that day. But I can tell you, it's one secret I plan to get to the bottom of.
