Your Background: Young Ruby Carter was part of the Outer Earth Colonies when she was a child. Her parents were one of the many families that wanted to get as far away from Earth as they could yet still be part of EarthGov. All was well for the family until the Ridiarium War began in 10-570. Her entire family, parents and brother, were slaughtered during a Ridiarium attack in 10-571 when she was still only 8. Somehow managing to hide away while they were torn to pieces, she managed to hide onto an escaping shuttle that was headed for the Cartel. However, she was found as a stowaway and through sheer luck caught the eye of Odin, who raised the girl into the Cartel family. She became a shipping Captain at the age of 16 - her intelligence, ruthlessness, and cunning all aided her in her job and she rose through the ranks quickly. And due to the fact she rarely let anyone close ot her, she earned the nickname "Iceheart" - that and because she enjoyed using a prototype device that would condense water molecules into ice shards. She ran into Katrina McCormick during her travels to EarthGov to make deliveries while Katrina was still in college and the two became friends, and through Iceheart, Katrina met Shiva, another agent of the Cartel. Iceheart wouldn't run into Katrina again, outside whenever she visited Shiva, until after Katrina joined her ship following the Gift of the Gods incident during the Dark War. The two then entered a relationship due to the fact Katrina managed to pierce Iceheart's defenses and get into her life - but eventually Katrina had to go back to work for EarthGov due to her activities while working for Iceheart. While Iceheart has rarely aided the team outside certain incidences, she's played both sides of the game in order to further the Cartel's agenda. She has worked many times with Loki, and the two worked to catch Zerith after being infected by his virus. After the Progenitor ship was brought to the Erevis' group's attention, they used Katrina's connection to Iceheart in order to get insight into the Cartel operations to find the ship. Once they located the ship, Iceheart and Loki became stranded on the ship, and so Iceheart suffered depressed due to being stuck in one place and not being able to fly around in her own ship. During this time, Freyja became interested in Iceheart, and started to get closer to the woman. For her part, Iceheart was unable to resist trying to have sex with a virgin priestess, and the two became sexually involved. With no abundant supply of available women, Iceheart and Freyja remained a couple and Iceheart continued to find new ways to screw the priestess' brain out. The only flaw in her plan was that she became closer to the Kitsune. Despite never proclaiming love for Freyja during their time on the ship, it became clear she was fond of her, and she offered her a place on her ship to work after they got back home. Despite an incident where Odin of the Cartel tried to use Iceheart to produce more quanities of the reality altering drug she got from Vivi's corpse, and nearly wiping out the Ridiariums and Tsivrixsh, due to deals by the PAX crew, the charges were dropped; though she got her own revenge back by seemingly making it where Odin suffered a heartattack, putting her old partner Loki in charge of the Cartel. Only time will tell if that is a wise move or not. Due to the interference of the future alternate timeline Elwyn Carter, who seduced, and got the receiving end of her mother, Iceheart learned afterward she had a daughter. This began to change her world views and slowly she began to stop seeing other women, focusing on Freyja. As time went on, the two became married as Iceheart seemed to want to settle down finally and she wanted to make Elwyn a reality one day, and they treated her like a daughter. Iceheart cut ties with the Cartel as they began to grow evil and were taken over by the Order, and worked for the PAX full time working and doing drop offs until she began her own business doing deliveries and shipments, growing rich slowly over the 15 years. They eventually had their own version of Elwyn Carter, and things have been well; she has designed a new version of her ship where they live on it as they work, as well as having a home on the PAX inside the garden zone at Freyja's original home.
