Your Background: Katrina McCormick was always an exceptionally gifted individual, who's family happened to be traveling through the very city that the psionic experiments were being conducted by General Cran. This trigged a latent psion gene in her and Katrina became an empath. Using her empathic abilities, she joined the military as a counselor and diplomat. For this reason, she was assigned to PAX, where she provided exceptional help. Also, her brother, John McCormick, taught her how to fight, since John aspired to be a hero, and she became a very adept fighter in her own right, perhaps even a bit better than John himself. However, this all came to an end when on a planet, a group of people kidnapped, and sacrificed her body to the goddess Erevis. Her soul was washed away, though Erevis retained many of her memories. This led to a few instances where Katrina's persona emerged over Erevis. Finally, Wind separated Katrina from Erevis and created a new body for her, setting her at the age she "died" at. From there, Katrina had to struggle with the fact Xanatos Durran, her old flame, was now with the woman who murdered her, Erevis. Bouncing from place to place, Katrina eventually aided Warren Carmichael in his fight against the Dark Ones. She took Chii under her wing after the girl was separated from Freyja, and taught her there was more to life than the negative emotions she was used to. Katrina went as far as to teach her everything about love and sex, to give her new emotions to experience. When the Gift of the Gods occurred, and she attempted to use the wish to bring back someone she loved dearly, and lost, she left the team and went rogue, aiding the Cartel in their operations. Eventually she was caught, and concerned about how Chii was doing after the girl began pursuing Cheryl, she rejoined the team to escape jail time. After the Dark War was brought to an end, Marcus and Katrina became closer, and she eventually agreed to marry him. While a crisis developed that pulled Cheryl's team from this reality, the two held their wedding with their friends before they left to the multiverse. As they began their honeymoon, however, the Erevis group approached them, asking for Katrina's connections to the Cartel to help find a Progenitor ship so they might change the future in which the Legacy destroys them all. Katrina agreed, begrudgingly, and aided the team on their endeavor, despite her hate for Erevis. Growing to accept Erevis, Marcus and Katrina made a life on the ship as Marcus opened up a bar, his life long dream, and began to cook and serve the crew. When they arrived back in their own system, the two decided to continue running the bar to see if they could make a living as it became the new PAX, and would be the center of trade and the universe. Having been injured by Angela Bennet, Katrina found out she could no longer have children; the two turned to Erevis, since their DNA was so similiar, and she agreed to have the child for them. As Marcus' bar grew over the year, grandfathered in after the battle with the Legacy, the two have begun to slowly work their way into money when their son was born, named JM, whom she doted over. However, things began to go poorly after a long streak of happiness, with Dias being brainwashed into evil due to his resentment of the military team, and even after being stopped, having lost all that made him who he was. And with the deaths on the PAX growing due to the Others who are beginning to grow in power, Marcus began to go through an early mid-life crisis that culiminated into a climax when his father grew gravely ill. Leaving to go watch over him, he left Katrina in charge of the bar and months began to pass with him responding less and less, not even attending the weddings - which Katrina later learned was due to him having lunch with an old female friend from his youth. Catching him cheating on her, the two got a divorce and Katrina kept JM, using the Suisen Empire's new laws to do so, which led to a bitter end between her and Marcus. Falling back into her old habits, for better or worse, Katrina sought someone to help in order to ease her own pain and found that someone in Mem, a troubled Alpha that had mental issues. Reminding her of Chii back when Katrina ran the Special Unit that hunted the paranormal after Cassandra's retirement from it, Katrina began to try to teach her love by using old habits. Eventually, she helped mellow Mem and the two have stayed together since then over the long year. Following that, she accidentally touched a pinkie and when the parents abandoned it, she adopted it, naming the little girl, PioPio, and began to raise her to take over the bar when Pio showed interest; at the same time she married Mem and they had their own child, Jem. Over the next 15 years, the dysfunctional family managed to stay together, somehow always staying together through will and love. Mem joined Cheryl's unit, and then the Reality Strikers after the Others crisis was over. Katrina helped bring Gitari babies to Earth when Earth and the Suisen Empire was not talking, and Pio and JM fell in love and had their own grand child. However, Katrina and Mem were on the final mission of the Others and were frozen for 5 years. However, they are all back together currently.
