<DeathStar> 4.15 - 3 days after the mission in China and unleashing a god
<DeathStar> Location: Darien's Mansion
<DeathStar> 6* Darien has sent a message to Miyuki and Kasha's Kitsune Udon with a request to contact him when he gets a chance. Meanwhile he peers at Cassandra who is on duty
<DeathStar> <Darien> I've had lab techs looking at the vial we recovered.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "What did they find out about it?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> It had some of Billy's DNA mixed with other things. Apparantly they're trying to make weapons based off Dark Ones. Thankfully with Billy rescued they lost their source of the material but we can't say how much they extracted from her over a year either. Plus we have those weapons out there that got freed from the lab.
<DeathStar> <Darien> And now this 'god'.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Big trouble. Dissolved flesh and bone with contact."
<Chain> 6*Miyuki pings back his request, 'What, nearly getting us killed once wasn't enough? whats up moneyman'
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leans over and puts her on comm speaker. "We have something not exactly in our field. I'd prefer to speak about it in person. How about I pay you 1000 credits to come to my house and you'll be served a meal."
<Chain> <Miyuki>"...what do you plan on serving"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Name your preference; I have a good maid
<Chain> 6*Miyuki turns to Kasha, covering the datapad*1<Miyuki> Moneyman wants us to come over to talk shop, what should we make them prepare for us?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien puts his on mute on his end too so he can listen without them hearing. "We do have one lead; the scientist who tinkered with it left his callsign in the DNA. I 'm told it's a scientist thing."
<Eluere> <Kasha> Money man..?
<DeathStar> <Darien> His name is Eric Larsan. He's been presumed dead for 8 months.
<Chain> <Miyuki> That Darien guy, the one that payed us all the money for the shrine case
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Just took the retirement plan."
<DeathStar> <Darien> We'll investigate his old residence for clues. See if he was taken forcefully or if he joined willingly
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *nods* "if he joined willingly, my fist has some business with his face."
<DeathStar> <Darien> I can't say I blame you
<DeathStar> 6* Darien brings up on the viewscreen in his meeting room of a lab on top of a mountain, a dome shaped building
<DeathStar> <Darien> He apparantly liked his privacy.

<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Oh wow... that is so not a supervillain hideout. Note my sarcasm."
<DeathStar> <Darien> I think we lost the two kitsune girls
<DeathStar> 6* He eyes the comm
<Chain> <Miyuki> If you don't pick I'll ask for froi gras and stuff like that, since I know you don't like it
<Eluere> <Kasha> Mew.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Sounds like they are arguing over dinner."
<Chain> <Miyuki> Then pick something
<Eluere> <Kasha> Sushi!
<Chain> <Miyuki>W-we just had that, I can make that
<DeathStar> <Darien> Cute, I guess. Perhaps I should reschedule with them when they decide.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien unmutes it. "Should we do this another day?"
<Sera> * Samantha steps out from the bedrooms carrying a baby fox to her chest. Slipping over to sit by Darien.
<DeathStar> 6* The kit who's name I forgot is cute
<Chain> <Miyuki> You know what, surprise us
<Sera> * The kit is Annie, Mother is Mimiji
<Sera> Samantha> "Sorry, Annie got lost in my underwear drawer."
<Chain> <Miyuki> We'll be there roughtly 7ish
<DeathStar> <Darien> Understood. Samantha, prepare a fancy Japanese meal. Everyone get ready.

<DeathStar> 6* When 7 comes, Darien waits for them to arrive outside his fancy mansion
<DeathStar> 6* It has CAssandra and Setsuna's fancy Japanese home attached to the side as wel
<Sera> * Samantha sets out a fancy Japanese meal capable of feeding 10 Kashas out, with Ceasura's help, poor thing.
<Chain> 6*Miyuki slides out of the car that Darien no doubt sent to collect them, Miyuki is dressed to the nines in a stylish paris bought cocktail dress that clings to her nicely
<DeathStar> 6* Caesura mutely walks around, purple hair in a bun
<DeathStar> 6* She hurries in her french maid outfit to open the door and bows to the two
<Sera> * Sammael fixes her apron, wearing a long blue skirt and a white blouse under it, she tends to always dress nice.
<Chain> <Miyuki> Thank you, please give these to your boss if possible 6*A delicate japanses box is laden with parisian styled cakes and tarts
<DeathStar> 6* Caesura mutely takes it and nods, leading them inside a nice mansion - clean and organized. A table has been set up. Darien is there wearing fancy clothing, ut not showy.
<Sera> * Sammael shifts over to stand by Darien, a little like his shadow in a way.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Hello, Miyuki Nue - Kasha Nue.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *stands nears the table, clad in a formal kimono of her own.
<DeathStar> 6* Caesura pulls their seats back for them to sit.
<Chain> 6*Miyuki walks quietly to greet Darien, Kasha is also dolled up as well in a similar cocktaildress, her hair done up with a stylish flurish
<Sera> * Setsuna stands demurely by Cassandra in a form fitting kimono, her hair done up in a Japanese style.
<DeathStar> 6* CAesura hands the gift over and bows, scurrying to the side to help serve anything they need. Darien waits for his guests to sit after the greeting, then does so himself
<DeathStar> <Darien> So eating first then business, or business while eating?
<Chain> <Miyuki> Thank you for having us, but if we may get down to business6*She sits down gracefully, her face stern but elegant
<Sera> * Sammael sits with Darien, Setsuna sits up closer to Cassandra.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nods. "We don't know the name of it, but -- lets start from the start. Sammael, can you tell them what happened during our last mission?"
<Sera> * Sammael nods. "Well, to boil it down simply, at the end of our mission we released an ancient, dark Chinese god on the world by breaking the seals on his temple."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien uses his datapad to play the footage - not knowing much about chinese gods, Chain can describe and name it
<Chain> 6*Miyuki eyes Sammael, then the datapad and groans
<Eluere> 6Kasha nudges Miyuki
<Chain> <Miyuki> You released---yes Kasha?
<Eluere> <Kasha> So. Much. Foooood.
<Chain> 6*Miyuki faulters
<DeathStar> 6* Caesura smiles silently, giving Kasha seconds
<DeathStar> 6* Darien studies Kasha a moment then turns his blue eyes back to Miyuki
<Sera> Setsuna> "Yeah, Robb totally knocked into something and blew it open."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Looks like it will be dinner first then."
<Sera> Setsuna> "Tossing grenades about like they're toys..."
<Sera> * Samantha slowly eyes Setsuna.
<Chain> <Miyuki> You-you released Byakko, the White Tiger of the west
<Chain> <Miyuki> Which means you undid a shit ton of work!
<Eluere> 6Kasha shovels food then freezes
<Eluere> <Kasha> B-Byakkochan?
<Sera> Setsuna> "I-I'm sure he didn't do it intentionally, I'm sure he threw those grenades to take out the Yakuza after us! I mean... yeah he probably screwed us all over. Not me mind you, him."
<Eluere> 6Kasha snivels. 1"Byakkochan's so meaaaan. She's vicious!"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien muses
<DeathStar> <Darien> How does one beat Byakkochan?
<Sera> Samantha> "She? I thought it was a boy god."
<Chain> <Miyuki> Punch her in the face...
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "So... what? You owe her money or something?"
<Chain> <Miyuki> With another god
<Chain> <Miyuki> By now she's probably freeing the others to rub it in their faces
<Sera> Samantha> "Do we... know any other gods?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Erevis?"
<Chain> <Miyuki> Eitherway, we'll have to take the case
<Sera> Samantha> "Out fighting the Tsivrixsh and Dark Ones."
<DeathStar> <Darien> How much do I owe you to do re search and find where she is and what she's up to as well as weaknesses?
<Eluere> <Kasha> Byakkochan and Seiryuuchi are girls!
<Eluere> <Kasha> Genbukun and that kunyarou Suzaku are boys.
<Chain> <Miyuki> Seiryu is as much a girl as Midori is!
<DeathStar> <Darien> Midori?
<DeathStar> 6* Caesura refills glasses with Japanese tea, all silent
<Sera> * Samantha twitches a little, her glass of water moving across the table a few inches into her hand without her noticing.
<Chain> <Miyuki> A futanari....hermaphidite
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... well, this is all over my head. How much will it take to get you to do the case? A million?
<Chain> <Miyuki> Five
<Chain> <Miyuki> Five million plus expenses
<Sera> * Samantha's eyes widen a little.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien clicks his tongue. "Fine."
<Chain> <Miyuki> Those four don't like our clan very much
<DeathStar> 6* Darien motions Sam to get the credits transferred over.
<DeathStar> <Darien> AFter this meal we have to go on a mission involving biological death weapons so you can use the house as you see fit
<Chain> <Miyuki> And our ancestors sealed them up so they don't fulfill their quest to kill us
<DeathStar> 6* Caesura quietly holds a tray like a classic maid, in front of her body
<Eluere> <Kasha> F-Five million...!?
<Eluere> 6Kasha slowly turns her head at Miyuki like a creepy wooden doll
<Sera> * Sammael does the transfer from her datapad.
<Chain> 6*Miyuki confirms the transaction on her end
<Eluere> <Kasha> We're rich." 6She notes.
<Chain> <Miyuki> Won't do us any good if we die during the case'
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *whisper* "Pssst. These two are weird."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien holds up some wine. "Well, here's to stopping the threats. If you need anything while here, Caesura will help you." 6* He finishes his plate and rises. "I'll be getting the shuttle ready. We have to see if we can find clues to the experiments now."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sips the wine, sets it down, and steps out of the room.
<DeathStar> 6* A baby fox peers at Miyuki from Sam's boobs
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Come on then, Setsuna. We're on call." *rises and heads out&
<Sera> * Sammael starts to get up and pauses, petting her fox. "What is it Annie dear?"
<Chain> 6*Miyuki sips lightly at her wine, her ears popping out seeing the baby fox
<DeathStar> 6* The fox wiggles at Miyuki, making cute noises
<Sera> * Sammael blinks a bit at the fox ears.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps outside to a sleek fancy shuttle that makes anyone who sees it want to ride
<Sera> * Setsuna stretches, heading out after Cassandra.
<Sera> * Sammael tilts her head a little. "You have fox ears."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *changes to her work clothes and heads to the shuttle to board it*
<Sera> * Setsuna changes with her, getting in some gropes.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien undresses and under is wearing a tactical suit
<DeathStar> 6* The baby fox hops out and crawls along the table to Miyuki and shows it's belly
<Chain> <Miyuki> Yes, My sister and I both do because we're kitsune
<Chain> 6*Miyuki lightly rubs at it's belly
<DeathStar> 6* It wags it's tail. Darien looks back at the two
<DeathStar> <Darien> Ready?
<DeathStar> (Sets and Cass)
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Question first."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Shoot.
<Eluere> 6Kasha wiggles her ears at Sammael
<Sera> Setsuna> "Sure, we waiting on the other girls?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Is this shuttle part of some scheme to temporarily turn Sets and I straight so you can get a threeway?"
<Sera> * Sammael blinks and hops over, petting Kasha's ears.
<Sera> Setsuna> "I am feeling a strong desire to have sex in it. And on it."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "...ditto."
<Eluere> 6Kasha smiles softly. 1"Mrrr...~"
<DeathStar> <Darien> The other girls are doing their own case. And no. But if yu want, I can put up a privacy shield for you two to have fun in the back
<Sera> * Sammael giggles. "Cute!"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien raises the ramp and lifts them into the air.
<Sera> * Setsuna hmms. "Sure, toss it up!"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien nod and flicks a switch
<DeathStar> -TIME JUMP-
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lands outside the domed lab on top of a mountain; lightning flashes in the background from a gathering storm. He exits the side door so the two women can redress properly and use the ramp exit. He looks about the building that hasn't seen use in 8 months
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *lowers the ramp and steps out, using her hand to brush back her hair*
<Sera> * Setsuna works her clothes back on, following Cassandra out.
<DeathStar> <Darien> So which one of you did the loud scream? It pierced the sound barrier of the privacy shield
<DeathStar> 6* He eyes them dryly, then walks toward the door
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "No comment." *follows him to the door*
<Sera> * Setsuna just grins, feeling Cassandra's ass as they walk.
<DeathStar> 6* IT begins to lightly rain as Darien forces the door open with a master skeleton card key. AS he walks in he tries the lights; they flicker on weakly and everything is covered in dust. Before them is a large lab full of equipment, shelves, vials and tubes, a stairway up to another level, tables, and capsules
<Sera> Setsuna> "So what's this place again?" *she says in a low voice*
<DeathStar> <Darien> Inform your wife, Cass
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "This is the former home slash lab of the guy who was sticking needles into Billy."
<DeathStar> 6* He walks to a terminal and brings it online, eyeing the password screen. He peers about. "Usually scatterminded scientists write something down for passwords as not to forget. Or take it from a picture."
<DeathStar> 6* There's only one picture in the entire room and it's Albert Einstein and a quote about nuclear technology
<Sera> Setsuna> "E Equals MC Squared?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Eh? That's a bit complex for a password.
<Sera> Setsuna> "Quirky scientist. Or Relativity maybe?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "I'm not certain. And Einstein? I thought this guy was a biochemist, not a physicist."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Perhaps he had an ego; nuclear technology and splitting the atom changed science as we know it
<Sera> Setsuna> "What was it that guy said over the first explosion? 'I am become death'?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien pauses then enters a series of numbers, getting into the computer; he motions for the others to look about the lab for clues.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "I am become Shiva, the shatterer of worlds. I think it was Oppenheimer who said it. He was quoting a hindu text."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *starts to look around*
<DeathStar> <Darien> The password was the date of the splitting of atoms
<DeathStar> 6* As Cassandra looks about, she'd see tons of equipment and mess - some of it looks missing though judging by empty spaces.
<DeathStar> 6* There's a book shelf full of books and notebooks
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Looks like someone packed his gear up."
<Sera> Setsuna> "Whoever we're dealing with is a bit sloppy leaving all this behind."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Or was in a hurry."
<Sera> Setsuna> "ON a hurry for what? We certainly didn't catch him racing out the door."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "A hurry 8 months ago."
<DeathStar> 6* IF the shelf does not interest her, there's a strange machine with shiny buttons
<DeathStar> 6* Darien reads. "all the data was wiped; but a hacker might be able to restore it
<DeathStar> 6* Darien plugs in a chip to get the info
<Sera> Setsuna> "So we give it to your girlfriend?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *heads over to the bookshelf and looks it over*
<DeathStar> <Darien> ... 6* He peers at Setsuna
<DeathStar> 6* Some are just your average books, though a big red one looks smudgy like someone with dirty hands grabbed it a lot
<Sera> * Setsuna just grins a little and moves over to the machine, looking it over.
<DeathStar> 6* The machine looks like it's meant to run some sort of experiment with vials - vials of what who knows.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *grabs the smudgy book*
<Sera> Setsuna> "We got any vials? My general urge to blow shit up is calling me."
<DeathStar> 6* It's title is simply Theories
<DeathStar> <Darien> VIals of what?
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Got a book titled theories here." *opens and flips through it*
<Sera> Setsuna> "...Something. This machine seems like it used vials for something. I'm no scientist. This is the geek's field."
<DeathStar> 6* As she opens it, she'd find it's some sort of diary, but written in code. Strange things are written in the margins - perhaps the way to decipher it
<DeathStar> <Darien> We'll take the equipment with us
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Jackpot."
<DeathStar> 6* He pulls the datachip out and looks over at Cassandra
<DeathStar> <Darien> What is it?
<DeathStar> 6* He walks over
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "I think I have his notebook. He encrypted it though."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Something for Sam to crack. Alright. Lets call it. Idoubt we'll find anything else and this has given us leads.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "What about upstairs?"
<Sera> Setsuna> "Never know what you'll find in the underwear drawer."
<DeathStar> <Darien> I leave it to you two
<DeathStar> <Darien> I'll go get a crew here to get the lab equipment
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves over and gets on his comm
<Sera> * Setsuna nods and heads upstairs.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *heads upstairs as well*
<DeathStar> 6* Up there they find a bed room that's messy and dusty, bed unmade, a bathroom door that's open to a messy bathroom. There's drawers that are half open and clothes in them that aren't folded properly, tossed in.
<DeathStar> 6* There's a clock that's blinking due to no power until now and one of the pillows is tilted oddly
<Sera> * Setsuna checks the pillow.
<DeathStar> 6* Under it is a picture frame with a piture of a man, Evans, and a woman.
<Sera> * Setsuna eyes the picture, pulling it out. "Who're these?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "No idea. Take it. We ID the woman, maybe we find him."
<DeathStar> 6* As she pulls it out, on the back is written a date and other scribbles - it matches the margin notes in the book Cass found. Decipher code found.
<DeathStar> 6* The underwear drawer taunts them
<Sera> * Setsuna takes it and nods. "Bingo. I claim solo exps."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *pulls open the undie drawer*
<DeathStar> 6* The underwear looks dirty
<DeathStar> 6* Does she even dare touch it? Ew.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *yanks the entire drawer out and then dumps its contents on the bed*
<DeathStar> 6* She finds a comm; perhaps it will have old ID numbers of callers and they can track who might have taken him.
