<Seraphna> Sets> "Let's just make sure we find that lab ASAP in case it's not. We've got a bit of time before the cold sets in, and about 5 minutes before suffocation, that is, if the decompression doesn't kill immediately."
<DeathStar> 6 *Cassandra strains and her motor servos tear abit, b ut the door rips open and thei nside of the base is decompressed. Even in their suits they can feel the shift it causes.

<DeathStar> 6* Darien steps out into the hallay, peering left and right, then takes left, walking down a sterile white hallway

<Chain> <Kasha> Buu didn't get to smash it myself 6*Kasha follows in dragging the still upset Miyuki with her
<Seraphna> * Sammael and Setsuna move in, sticking close by Darien.

<DeathStar> 6* A poster of a nude Cassandra is on one wall, no doubt for morale raising, amongst other raising things

<DeathStar> 6* There's several doors, but they are labeled with nothing indicating they are labs. As long as they remained sealed those inside are likely okay, too

<DeathStar> 6* Eventually they pass a room labeled "Security Room 2"; the hallway, meanwhile does a L shape bend
<Seraphna> * Sammael pauses. "We could check this?"
<Koalala> Kay> Maybe we should check the Security room
<Seraphna> * Setsuna checks the door, pulling out Kunai.
<DeathStar> 6* The door opens; those inside die horriblely, writhing from the decompression effects. Darien steps over and eyes the various cameras.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Sammael, cycle through and find floor plans for the lab.

<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Future note, doors kill here. We need to be careful of the lab door."
<Seraphna> * Sammael nods and moves over, working the console to get the floor plans.

<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Check if the lab has an airlock then."
<Chain> 6*Miyuki watches on, biting the inside of her cheek
<DeathStar> 6* After some cycling, Samamel finds it's 5 floors down and that they need a level 5 access card key to get it; thankfully they can go to the other 1-4 floors.
<Koalala> *Kay searches to see if any of the dead bodies have anything useful
<Seraphna> Sammael> "We need the level 5 card, check the security officers in here."
<Feather> <Kasha> If you don't shape up, I'm gonna claim your butt for a week, neesan.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I doubt they'd have it; look for command quarters, Sammael
<Feather> <Kasha> You're the one with brains, so they're gonna need you.
<Chain> <Miyuki> Be quiet...I think I'm reacting just fine for you know...waking up after 300 years and suddenly forced INTO SPACE

<Seraphna> * Sammael seeks out the command quarters.

<DeathStar> 6* Level 4; access card 3 needed. There's officer quarters on LEvel 3 though
<Feather> <Kasha> That is what I was saying to do.
<Seraphna> Sammael> "They're on level 4, we need Card 3 to get there... though there's someofficer quarters on Level 3."

<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Do we need a card for any of the other levels then?"
<Koalala> Kay>Couldn't we just explode our way there?
<DeathStar> <Darien> We can't risk explosions and damaging the base's structure
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sees they need no cards to get there so he steps out, uploading the map to his datapad and takes them down the L hallway
<Koalala> *Kay follows

<Seraphna> * Sammael follows, as does Sets. "Guess not."
<Feather> 6Kasha follows lazily, eyeing the station indifferently
<DeathStar> 6* Reaching the elevator, Darien steps in and waits
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *heads out after Darien yet again*
<Chain> 6*Miyuki tries her best to keep up

<Seraphna> * Sammael gets in, as does Sets.
<Koalala> *Kay steps in "Nothing important is ever on the first and second floors, it always above or in the basement"

<DeathStar> 6* The doors open with a happy chine and Darien steps out, moving down the hallway and eyeing the door names until he sees an officer's rank in front of one, motioning everyone to get ready
<Koalala> *Kay elbows her and mumbles rock me Amadeus
<Seraphna> * Setsuna readies herself, Sammael grumbles a little, having taken her hairband off due to the helmet.
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb nods and gets ready, about to use his boxing since he can't use his pistol due to the suit

<Chain> 6*Miyuki grumbles at being elbowed and follows
<DeathStar> 6* Darien taps the door open and it denies him; it's locked from the inside

<DeathStar> <Darien> Fearing decompression probably. Kay would find nothing in the white hallway

<DeathStar> <Darien> Electronic door locks and pad
<Seraphna> * Setsuna pulls up what looks like caulking. "We could use this."
<kalonDSisthebest> <Robb> Hate to admit it, but I did some hacking as a kid. I could give it a whirl.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Be my guest."
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb nods and works the panel, trying to hack it to force the door to unlock
<DeathStar> 6* After some work and tense moments, the door opens up; the officer in deny writhes about and falls over. Darien walks over and feels his pockets, getting the card key
<DeathStar> <Darien> One down
<DeathStar> 6* He walks out without looking back, heading back for the elevator

<Koalala> *Kay peers about the room then follows
<Seraphna> Sammael> "So... we need a way to stop the lab from decompressing still."
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Can't you work some psionic magick yet?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "this is one lousy base... no emergency bulkheads in case what we did were to happen. no emergency suits in the locker rooms..." *follows after Darien*
<Seraphna> * Sammael grumbles more.
<Chain> 6*Miyuki looks around at the lighting and grumbles a little
<Chain> <Miyuki> Way too bright...
<Feather> <Kasha> ..." 6she grips Miyuki again.
<Feather> <Kasha> What's a bulkhead?
<DeathStar> 6* As they arrive at floor 4, the elevator doorso pen and suddenly fire blasts come in at them, striking Darien's suit and daamging it
<Seraphna> Sammael> "Miyu, think you can make some sort of barrier outside the lab entrance that will stop the decompression?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Look out!
<Seraphna> * Samamel eeps and holds out her hands, forming a Psionic Shield on instinct, grabbing Darien to put his suit out if it caught fire.
<Seraphna> * Setsuna hops back and tosses a Cryo Grendade out at the fire.
<Chain> <Miyuki> I can try 6*She jerks at the sudden look out
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Darien, was your suit penetrated?"
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb tries to leap out of the way
<Seraphna> * Sammael checks it over quickly.
<Chain> 6*Miyuki moves over to Darien as well
<DeathStar> 6* It's barely holding, thankfully for Darien, but it could give out at any moment
<DeathStar> 6* Darien presses against the side of the elevators as the fire continus; the cyro grenade pauses it for a moment as the soldiers recover
<Seraphna> Sets> "We need to get him a patch for the damaged area. Better let someone else lead sir."
<DeathStar> 6* A grenade goes flying into the elevator - stun variety

<Seraphna> * Setsuna kicks it back at the soldiers and tosses one of her own at them.
<Chain> 6*Miyuki lifts her hands to create a barrier for the impending explosion after Setsuna lobs it back
<Seraphna> * Sammael TK grabs at one of the soldiers and tries tossing him at another.

<DeathStar> 6* The stun grenades and the other disorientes the soldiers who collapse. One remains and he grabs his gun, overlaoding it and sliding it toward the elevator; it's clear they won't have time to kick it back if it arrives

<AquaKoala> *Kay jups back
<Seraphna> * Sammael grunts a little from all the effort and steps back. Setsuna's eyes go wide with a moment of worry for her wife.
<AquaKoala> *Kay jumps for the soldier trying to grapple him
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra tosses it back and it explodes in ront of her, sending her back with holes in her suit
<DeathStar> 6* It also gets Kay who jumps and tears his suit

<DeathStar> 6* Darien's eyes widen. "DAmmit!"
<Seraphna> * Sammael pulls them both back and pulls out a skin patch from her medical supplies, putting it over Kay's suit. Sets grabs Cass and tries to cover the mutliple holes.
<DeathStar> 6* Kay's suit has 7 holes.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "...I just need my neck closed off... my body can handle vaccuum..."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Blow all the air out of your lungs, now!
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra's neck is easily sealed at least
<AquaKoala> *Kay exhales out
<Feather> <Kasha> Um-- what's vacuum do to someone?
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Kay, on the othe rhand... is not a combat grade cyborg chassiss."
<Seraphna> * Sammael tries patching them, using up her supply she seals Cass' neck first. "We have 90 seconds to get into a compression chamber."
<Chain> <Miyuki> It makes them implode?

<kalonDSisthebest> <Robb> It does that.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien begins to work on pinching the holes close and trying to staple seal it a stapler as Sammael uses the patches on the other parts. Finally, Darien taps something on his suit to go through a quick restoration of systems and it recompresses painfully for Kay, but he lives
<DeathStar> <Darien> This is a hackjob; try not to move too much. 6* He doesn't seem to notice his own tear has gotten a bit bigger
<Seraphna> Sammael> "Actually, vacuum doens't implode people."
<AquaKoala> Kay> AHHHHH, fuck
<DeathStar> <Darien> Cassandra, check the dead soldier for a card key.
<Seraphna> Sammael> "The real danger is flash freezing of cells and organs. A massive shift in compression however can also expand organs violently."
<DeathStar> 6* He points at the one who threw the gun and got it thrown abck
<Feather> <Kasha> Moneyman, your suit's got a hole, too.

<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Roger." *moves forward to search the soldiers*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien peers down and puts a glove over it to keep it closed
<Chain> <Miyuki> Again, only kinda woke up recently so I'm not up to date on the ins and outs of space and its oh so bad for your health goodies
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra finds 1 card key
<Chain> 6*Miyuki makes a face
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Have a card key."
<Seraphna> Sammael> *squeaks* "W-We have to get to a compression chamber. Let's move."

<DeathStar> <Darien> Bring it back to the elevator
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *heads back for the elevator and hands it over to Darien*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien motions Robb to help Kay up so his staples don't tear
<AquaKoala> *Kay breaths heavy leaning against a wall
<DeathStar> 6* Darien then runs it through the card slot and hits the lab floor
<Seraphna> * Sets grumbles a little and readies herself, Sammael sticks close to Darien.
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb helps Kay up "You owe me a dinner for this"
<AquaKoala> Kay> You could of just asked for a date *He chuckles
<Seraphna> Sets> "Yep, totally our new Dias."
<AquaKoala> Kay> Still don't know if that's a good or bad thing
<DeathStar> 6* The doors open and they find another decompression chamber and scanner chamber
<Feather> <Kasha> At least you're getting better about being a scaredy-fox, neesan.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Safe zone."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien approaches it, eyeing cameras set up inside
<AquaKoala> *Kay follows Darien
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "And don't pop the cork, this time, Kasha."
<Seraphna> Sammael> "We should take out the sensors."
<Chain> <Miyuki> Getting shot at kinda clears the mind
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Any ideas for clearing the sensors?"
<kalonDSisthebest> <Robb> Bring up my old high school hobby again?
<Seraphna> Sammael> "Well... yeah."
<Seraphna> * Sammael eyes Setsuna. "Chaff?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Do it."
<kalonDSisthebest> <Robb> Chaff only interferes with radio signals. This isn't an old stealth game, you know.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien muses
<Chain> 6*Miyuki quietly studies the lighting looking for her usual means of getting by unwanted things
<AquaKoala> Kay>Couldn't we just smash them?
<Seraphna> * Sets frowns as she hands it over to Sammael, who pulls a disarm pin to keep it from exploding and then opens it, removing the chaff canister, she cracks it open and tosses ot at the ceiling of the chamber, causing Chaff to rein down in the room, it would disrupt sensors and knock out cameras at least temporarily.
<Seraphna> Sammael> "Now you can smash them."
<DeathStar> 6* Miyuki could try bypassing with the sahdows on the other side, if she can go from one unsealed environment to a sealed one compression wise
<AquaKoala> *Kay runs about smashy smashy
<DeathStar> 6* Kay enters and smashes the cameras with his fists, damaging his suit again and ripping a new hole
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb sighs
<DeathStar> 6* Darien facepalms and steps in. "Everyone, in now! Seal the compression chamber!"
<Chain> 6*Miyuki nods and presses her hand against the nearest shadow she can find and begins to drain into it
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *enters the decompression chamber*
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb rushes in
<AquaKoala> *Kay jumps in covering his hole
<Seraphna> * Sam and Sets rush in.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *seals the door once everyone is inside
<Seraphna> Sets> "I demand this kid take your training courses, Darien."
<Chain> 6*Miyuki pops out on the otherside once it's sealed having dragged Kasha with her
<DeathStar> 6* The doors seal and begin to go through the cycle; the cameras keep aimed at them. Did the chafe work; was Robb right? Or was Sam?
<DeathStar> 6* Once done the other side opens where Miyu and KAsha are and Darien pulls the helmet off, since his suit is practically useless anyway

<DeathStar> <Darien> Everyone ready?
<Chain> <Miyuki> Not us
<Chain> <Miyuki> and yeah
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *pulls her suit off as well sinc eits msotly shredded anyway* "Ready."
<Seraphna> * Sammael gets ready, Sets pulls out Kunai. "Just assume we failed and go in swinging... this time not in a suicidal manner, if you can help it Kay."
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb pulls his suit off and pulls out his pistol
<Seraphna> * Sammael focuses. "I-I'll try to make that shield again..."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "How much firepower am I allowed?"

<Seraphna> Sets> "Just remember they have prisoners, probably kids."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Keep it low until we see if there's any prisoners here
<DeathStar> <Darien> Also we need a few scientists alive to question about how to track the escaped projects.

<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Pistol it is then." *pulls her sidearm out*
<Koalala> *Kay gets into a modified boxing stance

<DeathStar> 6* Darien uses the card key and opens the lab doors. The lighting here is very bright and there's a hallway, with the lab doors on either side, three on each side. They can see through the glass at the scientists moving about, destroying files and equipment. Figures float in the tubes as well. It seems the first lab on the left is the one they want for the Dark Project, and the first on the right for the goddess, as she can be seen in there, in a tube
<Seraphna> Sammael> "Stop the scientists before they try aborting the experiments too..."

<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "PErmission to take the left door?"
<Chain> <Miyuki> Right door is us?
<Seraphna> * Setsuna moves for the scientists, sliding one Kunai away, pulling out a ninjato.
<Feather> 6Kasha rubs her hands, smiling evilly.

<Seraphna> * Sammael moves for the left, rubbing her head a little.

<DeathStar> 6* As they enter, the scientists look up and panic, smashing their terminals with chairs; one person runs to a tube with two blonde girls of about 5 floating in it and taps a button and the liquid in it turns blackish
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *tosses a stun grenade at the scientists*
<Seraphna> * Setsuna rushes to the tubs, looking for a release valve.
<DeathStar> 6* The scientists are stunned, falling over. Darien walks up, frowning at the sight of the black liquid and the girls twitching in pain.
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb fires stun rounds into the scientists, aiming for ones smashing equipment first
<DeathStar> 6* Setsuna would see it on the right; one scientist, further away, runs into a back room
<Seraphna> * Setsuna rushes to it and pulls it to release the girls. Sammael gets ready to check on them.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *heads for the back room*
<Seraphna> * Sammael readies TK to rgab the girls out and float them away from the black stuff to a nearby surface.
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb looks for a way to stop or reverse the process on any panels that might still work

<DeathStar> 6* As Cassandra gets there, a giant mech busts through, knocking her backwards
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Gaaah!"
<DeathStar> 6* The girl are TKed out and lay there, looking a bit ill, holding each other weakly. Darien moves to get a medical shot in them, then eyes the mech
<Koalala> *Kay tries to run a pattern around the mech o distract it
<Seraphna> * Setsuna moves out to join Cass, grumbling as she pulls out Ionized Grenades, she tosses one at the mech.
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb moves for cover, looking around for a datapad
<Seraphna> * Sammael helps Darien, checking the poor kids over, scanning them to figure out what they were exposed to.
<DeathStar> 6* There's plenty about
<DeathStar> 6* A toxin to kill them, the shot seems to be helping
<DeathStar> 6* The mech walks forward, and 16 missiles fire out at Kay, Setsuna, and Rob, and Darien/Sam, 4 each
<DeathStar> 6* The grenade doesn't slow the mech
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Permission to raise the firepower quotient?!"
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb grabs one, seeing if there's some way to hack the mech, trying to leap out of the way of the missles
<Koalala> *Kay tries to run under the mech and jump on its back
<Seraphna> * Sammael works on an antitoxin while it does, checking the lab for needed ingredients or emergency packs. She blinks and creates a Psionic Shield for her and Darien, and the kids, while Setsuna hurls Kunari at two of her missles, hoping the blasts take out the otehrs, leaping to cover.

<DeathStar> 6* The shield breaks but they are protected, sending Sam into a wall from the feedback; as Kay climbs, the mech electricifies, zapping him
<DeathStar> 6* the datapad seems incapable of hacking the mech
<Koalala> *Kay falls off and tries roll so the missle hits the mech
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *rolls to the side and then pulls out her assault gun, taking aim and then firing*
<Seraphna> * Sammael cries out in pain, whimpering, some blood dripping out of her nose.
<kalonDSisthebest> 6*Robb tosses it, not even bothering to shoot it with his pistol
<DeathStar> 6* The missiles seem to wise for that and veer off after Robb as he dodges the explosions, going for a moment when he can't odge, but Cassnadra's shots blow them up
<DeathStar> 6* darien grabs the kids and slides over to her
<kalonDSisthebest> <Robb> OWE YOU CASS.
<DeathStar> 6* The mech then forms a laser beam and it begins to move across the room, burning everything, as it moves toward Cass
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Later!" *aism and fires at the mech *
<Seraphna> * Setsuna grumbles and tosses three kunai, trying to get them stick in the mech's gun ports.
<Seraphna> * Sammael pants and sits up weakly. "I-I really need some training on that... oww..."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *then movesaway from the beam and fires again, aiming specifically at the beam emitter*
<Koalala> *Kay hops about the mechs looking for weak points
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra destroys it; the mech seems to have a pilot cockpit that's sealed in titanium, and a red light that's only 1 centimeter big and would take a crackshot
<Koalala> *Kay looks about for something sharp to hit the light with
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *takes aim for the red light, turning on internal targeting assisst before firing*
<DeathStar> 6* There's lab equopment all over.
