Things have been relatively peaceful outside some strange incidents, like Magical Girl Dragona saving the day no less than three times. Now, with less than 30 minutes before meeting with the various ambassadors of the races, the group is gathered: Sera will list who all was sent on this mission in #taw
<DeathStar> 6* Isis fidgets beside Miyuki, wondering what it will be like when they get home (see latest minis for that). Zephyr looks zen, still healthy at this point, beside Alt Miyuki, holding her hand

<DeathStar> 6* The doors open and a human steps out, looking a bit like Admiral Adama. "You first." 6* He points at those from the other reality, then walks back in. Paladin shifts his eyes toward Isis and the others, watching them

<Seraphna> * Jennifer rises and looks at the others, moving along to go in.

Before the table, raised up higher to give their position of authority more weight, are 20 ambassadors from various races - Human, Tsivrixsh, Ridiarium, Cartel, etc. The Cartel ambassador is Loki, who looks smug

<Seraphna> * Jennifer peers at them all. "Loki, Shretrav, lovely to see you all."
<DeathStar> 6* Shretrav tilts her head, peering at her papers. "You know us from a reality that is like our own, but different."
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Very much so."
<DeathStar> <Loki> Don't suppose there's a Suisen Empire in your reality?
<DeathStar> 6* He plays with hand string, his two hands tied together

<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Yes and no, it's a different sort of Empire, founded for different reasons."

<DeathStar> 6* Isis peers at her Miyuki and Hi'Saa
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr leans back, content to let others talk
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "We banded together out of necessity, due to threats that challenged the well being of all worlds. Two major groups we call the Order and the Others. The Empire works to counter such threats."
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> And what tactics does your Erevis get races to band with her empire?
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "From what I've seen, the same ones that this Erevis does, she asks you to join, you can either ally or become part of the empire in ours. If you choose not to, we leave you alone."
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> IS that right? 6* Loki snorts. <Loki> Someone's not informed.
<kalonZombie> <Hi'Saa> She's very peaceful about it, and doesn't want to use violence at all.
<Seraphna> * Jennifer raises a brow. "Has this Erevis actually conquered anyone?"
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> I'm sure your Erevis is considerate and all. Your reality, she sounds much more mature - due to being further along the timeline than the one here.
<Chain> <Miyuki> Erevis does her best to keep equality and to not cause strife or have favorites. However she won't allow suffering to go unchallenged
<DeathStar> <Loki> She blew a race to bits to get another race to join. <Shretrav> I wouldn't word it like that
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Explain."
<kalonZombie> 6*Hi'Saa blinks in surprise, but otherwise keeps a straight face
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> A race was being preyed on by pirates. While there was not adequate proof it was from the Tarkians, it is reasonable to think it was the case. Reports are vague - they claim she blew their fleet unprovoked. The race she was protecting and who joined her, pulling out of the PAX3, stated she told them to stop their violence, then blew their ships to bits, then destroyed their facilities to ever make new ships
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> There was another case where she apparantly needed some minerals from a stubborn race that attacked anyone who entered her territory. Rumor has it she stated: We can be friends or I can simply 'spank you and take what I want and leave you without anything'.

<Seraphna> Jennifer> "And you have both accounts from only the losing sides of these conflicts, I assume?"
<kalonZombie> 6*Hi'Saa's ears droop a bit, not wanting to believe what she's hearing

<DeathStar> <Shretrav> Well, the race she was protecting I gave you both accounts, and rumors were from third parties. The race she threatened to spank joined her
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> Reports state they're quite propsperous now
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "So one race that was threatened is doing better then before... I have a feeling the detail left out of the first incident would be whether or not they stopped being violent after a warning?"
<DeathStar> <Loki> The point is she's going around the galaxy threatening people to join her - if they're rich afterwards doesnt' really matter, does it?

<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr drums her fingers, knowing this Erevis has gone through a lot of trauma and hasn't been drawn out of her shell, nor has Ao who has her ear. Ama has only recently begun progress
<kalonZombie> <Hi'Saa> She didn't seem all that violent to me. She wanted my race to join her, and violence was her absolute last measure for it. I don't think she's as violent as you're making her out to be.

<Chain> <Miyuki> Erevis is Erevis, her intentions are always for the good of others.

<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Yes. It's hard to explain it outright, but the fact that Erevis wanted to connect with Isis is a good sign."
<DeathStar> <Human Ambassador> Has she asked for your help in taking over any other races? Any sabotage? Placing anything supsicious on planets?
<Chain> <Miyuki> Erevis is not easily defined by 'trustworthy' or any other words. Erevis is complex which makes it hard for someone to gaugue anything
<DeathStar> 6* Isis stiffens, unable to lie, so she tries to not speak and hopes they don't ask her directly

<DeathStar> 6* Shretrav peers at Arhn. "What do you feel about your people joining this brand new empire that's come out of nowhere, Ambassador Arhnya?"
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr fidgets in her seat, then grabs Kasha in a hug and hopes she doesn't get bit

<Seraphna> Cameron> "I scanned several of the crew and new inhabitants of the ship while I was there, there was no signs of tampering on a mental scale."
<Jackieness> <Arhn> "We are a long-lived race. Acting rashly would normally been an unusual event. However, many rash actions involving my people have happened recently."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr flusters. "I--do you dislike me now?"
<DeathStar> <Loki> Alright, what do you think about--*He tells them about Erevis' military actions recently. Cheryl, in the room too, snorts*
<DeathStar> <Human Ambassador> Is something funny, General? *Paladin glares as well*
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale raises an eyebrow at Cheryl
<Chain> 6*A.Miyuki gives a fox grin at Cheryl
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> We all know the Tarkins are pirates and they deserved everything they got. The fact none of you want to get into a war with the pirates is why no one has done anything.
<AquaKoala> *Del looks over at Cheryl snorting and covers his mouth chuckle quietly
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> As for the other race, the mineral in question can be used to make unique medical equipment. She likely wasn't going to take bullshit from a race that's denied access to it for decades when she needed medical treatment for a growing empire

<Feather> 6Kasha bites at Zephyr's neck, tearing at her clothes, using her knee between Zephyr's legs to lift her off her feet.

<DeathStar> <Shretrav> So you approve of her blasting and taking what's needed? <Cheryl> When and where it makes sense. The Tsivrixsh have conqoured for decades and made slaves of their races. At least she's makingt them an actual part of her empire as equals.

<DeathStar> <Loki> She's growing her empire rapidly and traking more and more resources from the galactic alliance we set up here, and that took decades to create - that you were part of. You're willing to let it all fall apart as her empire grows? The PAX3 will shatter if this Suisen crap grows
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> ... 6* She shrugs. "I'm not a politican."
<DeathStar> <Loki> You definitely are not

<Seraphna> Angela> "Why not offer an alliance?"
<Chain> <P.Miyuki> As much as I know you have no issue ravishing Zephyr here, you will need to move it somewhere else
<Seraphna> Angela> "If you do, there should be no reason why trade for such resources can't be reestablished."
<Jackieness> <Arhn> "If we might calm ourselves for the moment. We need decisions, not dissent."
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> She has rejected all offers at meeting us here. Her words are: The PAX3 is corrupt with it's own broken and squabbling agendas. I learned about humanity and other races on the first PAX at it's end of days.
<Chain> <A.Miyuki> Unless you're afraid of a strong woman with the reigns
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> She went on to say she saw enough during that time to never desire to ally with a group again.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I--um..w-we can go to my room..
<Seraphna> Angela> "I'm sure she can be shown reason, given some time and a lack of reasons to continue to see such."
<AquaKoala> *Del keeps silent, not liking politics
<DeathStar> <Loki> Face it. It's her way or the highway. It's why she's made herself a goddess. A Goddess. A patheon. With two other patheons.

<Seraphna> Angela> "Other rulers never put themselves above the rest?"
<Chain> <A.Miyuki> That sounds like your opinion rather than Erevis's
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> If galactic peace is to work, it must be give or take. Erevis shows no sign of giving
<Jackieness> <Arhn> "The predominant religion of my people is the veneration of the Progenitors. That may play some role in what has happened with my people."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I'd like to speak on the goddess bit
<kalonZombie> <Ethia> Maybe she is and you just are too blind to see it.
<Seraphna> Angela> *crosses her arms, letting Cheryl have her say*
<kalonZombie> 6*She then says nothing else to let Cheryl have her go
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> She may declare herself a goddess, and act it, but I think it's a role she plays. I don't see her making the people do what she wants. Each race that joins has their own colors, factions. They get to set their own agendas and plans and what they want to work on/research/do. There are teleporters to their respective planets.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Their leaders, while picked by her, all seem to be working for the good of their people and the empire. It's pretty harmonous so far.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> The PAX3, on the other hand, by nature, each ambassador works toward his own goal, not toward the PAX3. You say you do, but you can't, realistically. Erevis will never deal with you because of that.
<AquaKoala> Del> And aside from that, she is not cutting herself off from others opinions, she is more than willing to take advice.
<DeathStar> <Loki> So you admit it. She will never have a place on the PAX3 like other races.
<AquaKoala> Del> Why would she want to, she see's her empire as superior
<Seraphna> Angela> "That's not what she said, and you should consider what it really means."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl looks at ARhn. "Can I ask you something?"
<Jackieness> <Arhn> "Please."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> When you were an ambassador on PAX, your number 1 concern always had to be the Ascendency, even if it meant screwing over other races, right?
<Chain> <A.Miyuki> See, exactly what I said. picks and choose what they want to hear and warp the rest 6*in responce to Loki
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I'm not saying you went out of ytour way to be a jerk, but that realistically, you had to do what was best for your people
<Jackieness> <Arhn> "The interests of my people came before all other concerns."
<kalonZombie> 6*Ethia looks at A.Miyu and nods, then rolls her eyes as if to say "And they probably still won't listen"
<AquaKoala> Del> Which isn't a bad position to hold, but isn't exactly conductive for an empire
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> The PAX3 is too divided. Erevis despises that. She won't come here. You're right. End of story. You want to declare war on her, though you iwll lose. Her technology is superior. She doesn't want war with you, but like with the Tarkians, she will end your space flight capabilities.
<Feather> 6Kasha growls as she carries Zephyr, demanding to know where her room is-- and stopping to eye back alleys and such instead.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr points at a door meekly
<DeathStar> 6* Shretrav leans back. She looks sad. "Then it's the galaxy's loss. The PAX had failed."
<DeathStar> *has
<Jackieness> <Arhn> "No. Everyone in this room has failed."
<AquaKoala> Del> There's always a way of fixing it.
<Seraphna> Angela> "Seriously, you give up like that?"
<kalonZombie> <Ethia> Yeah. Grow up, learn to work nice with each other, stop looking out for number one, and prove to her that you're worth looking at.
<Chain> <A.Miyuki> Feh, whine when someone else can their project better than themselves
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> Maybe. But if the Suisen Empire grows like it will, the galaxy will become one voice, Erevis'. There will be no unique voices left. The PAX3 will break apart as each race goes about their own agendas as more minor races squabble and either join her, or stand on their own.
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> Argument and debate is what brings about change. Even if Erevis' people are allowed to flourish independently, they are marching to her song
<Seraphna> Angela> "Then band together. Prove you can be a force that works as a group, for EVERYONE."
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> But war is pointless, you are right. <Loki> Feh.
<Seraphna> Angela> "Then she'll join you."
<DeathStar> <Shretrav> We'll see. Thank you all for coming.
<DeathStar> 6* Paladin stands up, walking out. Cheryl adjusts her uniform, following and knowing she'll get an earful later. Lemon nervously moves to join
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Not a problem. 6*Ethia just mutters something about "waste of my time" under her breath as she leaves

<Seraphna> * Angela leads Lemon back, while Cameron nods and moves to go do something. While Jennifer walks along, watching Paladin curiously.
