So far things have been rather calm, Cheryl spending time with the arcana/Dragoon Cheryl spawns, talking with them and getting a feel for them
<Seraphna> * Sammael seems to occupy herself taking care of her girls and cooking, Setsuna sitting in with the young dragoon who doesn't talk. Wolf sexes Hale. Ulieah prepares a mini concert while Eclair trails Cheryl, watching her.

<DeathStar> 6* A green planet with brown clouds appears, with asteroids around it; she has one asteroid blink.

<DeathStar> <Aya> Based on my contacts, and an the bread loving T, there is a facility here that works on brainwashing. They likely took Caesura there and are working on healing her wounds to brainwash her and turn her into an enemy.

<DeathStar> <Aya> The asteroid field has a high field of ionization, so detection of the base will be hard, but they can't detect an approachihng shuttle either

<Jackieness> <Myria> *plugs a small data card into the package that she gave Cheryl and let's it upload before she retreats back to her lab*

<DeathStar> <Aya> Alright, Rosetta, I suggest you take Miyuki with you. 6* she brings up an image of a comet that is flying fast through space
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "I'll accompany her as well."
<DeathStar> <Aya> The base is somehow built on that comet, and nothing is known about it. I'm not sure how the Illiums managed it.

<DeathStar> 6* An hour later, at James' shuttle. Haruki walks with Mem up the ramp, wearing some light tactical armor

<Koala> *Kay is already waiting, wearing the thickest and most imposing armour he could find
<Seraphna> * Wolf, thoroughly prepared, steps aboard with her armor and a new stock of things that go boom. Setsuna boards with Cassandra.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *boards the shuttle, outffitted in cyborg-grade tactical gear*
<Koala> *James stretches a bit, wearing his tactical armour
<kalonZombie> 6*Hi'Saa pats James' butt as he moves off, then heads to be with their son

<Koala> *James straps in, in the pilot seat, getting ready for takeoff

<Seraphna> * SEtsuna and Wolf buckle themselves in, Wolf puffs on a smokeless, electronic cigarette, compliments of engineers who don't want the troops smoking in shuttle atmo.

<Koala> *Kay buckles in and James takes off for the location
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle seems to be installed with a light engine that will take them directly to the asteroid
<Koala> *James does that
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Excellent. We get to KO."

<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle lights up and the shuttle rattles, and a flash of white light makes them all pass out a moment, then they wake up a few seconds later near an asteroid field
<Nyaomi> <Mem> Are you going on every mission I do?
<DeathStar> <Haruki> Yes.
<Koala> James> Right, somewhere in there.
<Seraphna> * Wolf graons. "Someone make the brainiacs at home invent something to stop that."
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga leans past James suddenly
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So what's the mission. *the 9 year old asks*
<Koala> *James reels
<Seraphna> Wolf> "This kid's worse than that Ulieah brat was before we let her go on missions just to stop her stowing away."
<Koala> James> Oi, does your mom know you're here?
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Seriously kid, you could get hurt.
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "We're going to rescue Caesura. Hey... how come Kay didn't come?"
<Koala> Kay> I did?
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Gah! Hey! Only I get to be the silent ninja!"
<Koala> *Kay deadpans, seated in the shuttle

<DeathStar> <Taiga> But my sisters got to go on a mission and learn, so I'm here

<DeathStar> <Taiga> I'll follow orders.
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Got to go? They stowed away too!"
<Seraphna> Wolf> "...They didn't stow away again did they?" *she pokes hiding places*
<Koala> James>... ... Damn it kid. Alright, we're breaking into a prison/brainwashing facility that's on a comet
<Seraphna> (Comet is the other group, we're going to a hidden asteroid base)
<Koala> (All the space debris is making me confused ;.;)

<DeathStar> 6* Haruki studies Kay. "What is wrong?"
<Koala> *James starts to a slow sweep
<Koala> Kay> Nothing.
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale sighs and grumbles
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "So... anyone got a deck of cards?"
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Sure your wife doesn't have a game system built into her rear end?" <Setsuna> Hey!... Actually... *slowly reaches*
<DeathStar> 6* As James begins to move in, they see dozens of asteroids
<DeathStar> 6* The ionize field makes scans impossible.
<Koala> James> Anybody able to tell the difference?
<DeathStar> 6* Haruki looks back at Mem. "Do you want me not to be here?"
<Koala> *James looks them over
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga crosses her arms; her coat like outfit is a school outfit
<Nyaomi> <Mem> I didn't say that.
<Seraphna> * Wolf peers at Taiga. "You've got spunk, I can tell."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "No cards on me. I'm always open to strip poker though."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> You would, Wolf.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Thanks.
<Seraphna> * Wolf pulls out a baton and holds it out to Taiga. "Use this if any creeps get in too close, gotcha?"
<Koala> Kay> We could always play five finger fillet. *He pulls out a massive bouie knife
<Koala> Kay> That was a joke.
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "You sure?"
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga studies the asteroids
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Kay, what have we told you about you and sharp objects?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Um....
<DeathStar> <Taiga> If you can't figure out which is which, the best way may be to get them to reveal themselves.
<Koala> James> By shooting at them?
<Koala> *James works on getting the weapons ready
<Seraphna> SEtsuna> "...Yes, because putting them on full alert is what we need James. No, just get them to emit some sort of energy or send out a shuttle to look at something."
<Koala> James> This is why I brought you and Cass, I know fighting, not not-fighting
<Seraphna> * Setsuna smirks a bit. "We need to draw them out by curiosity rather than fear."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Now you're thinking. I should be leader! Hu hu hu
<DeathStar> 6* She laughs
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Always make them come to you on to the field of your choosing."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Honestly, I'd probably follow you.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Really? *she blinks at Hale*
<Koala> James> That hurts Hale.
<DeathStar> <Haruki> Is there something you can launch on the shuttle that isn't a weapon?
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Truth often does, James.
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "So we need an illusion or questionable energy signature to flare on them. Or something that isn't a weapon, sure."
<Koala> James> Uh, we can put something in a missle tube. Or fire a flare
<kalonZombie> <Hale> And yeah kid, you've got a good head on your shoulders. I could see you leading something.

<Seraphna> Wolf> "I've got a few flares that don't go boom."
<Nyaomi> <Mem> Surprised we didn't bring the catgirl.
<Seraphna> * Wolf holds out the mining equivalent of a road flare.
<DeathStar> 6* TAiga grabs it and moves it into the tube
<DeathStar> 6* She closes the firing tube
<Koala> James> Well.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Here goes nothing.
<Nyaomi> <Mem> Do we have another medic?
<Koala> *James fires from that port, which would do nothing since there is no missle, aside from open the front end to space
<DeathStar> 6* 6* the flares go out and spin into the distance
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Ho ho ho!
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Okay, we might want to be away from it."
<DeathStar> 6* taiga leans over the console and watches
<kalonZombie> <Hale> ...Wait, how did those work without any oxygen..?
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Electronic."

<Koala> *James circles away from it and towards some cover
<Seraphna> Wolf> "They don't actually spark, so you don't blow your limbs off deep in a gas filled mine."
<Nyaomi> <Mem> No? ... Alright.
<DeathStar> 6* there's plenty of asteroids; soon, far away, one asteroid opens up and sends out an Illium vessel
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "And we have a winner."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I know a little bit of fixing up damage.
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga notes
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Seriously kid, start a club when you get home or something. Get some experience.
<Koala> *James circles around, staying out of view of the vessel
<Nyaomi> 6Mem nods to Taiga.
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Alright, now we just need a plan to get in quietly... how do we do that again?"
<Nyaomi> <Mem> Sorry. Just thought it's why we had her. And that... pig....
<Nyaomi> <Mem> Handles?
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga blinks at Hale
<Chain> 6*Hans ouis sleepily somewhere
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Well we saw where it came out, there must be a hangar there."
<DeathStar> 6* Haruki is quiet, wondering if she isn't wanted, playing with her dark hair
<DeathStar> 6* James bengins to make his way toward the one asteroid, through the smaller ones.
<Koala> *James looks for the hangar opening
<DeathStar> 6* The hangner is still open so far; as they get closer, one can see smaller exhaust ports, but not big neough for the shuttle
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "We could park and space out into an exhaust port, if you guys think it's safe enough. Or we go in the front door, but that'll get messy."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> I call for sneaking.
<Koala> *James nods, moving for the exhaust port
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Trying to maintain stealth as long a spossible would be the preffered approach, yes."
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Take a small bit of time to see the timing of the exhaust output. So we know how quickly we need to move."
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Or if it's constant, what we need to shield against."
<DeathStar> 6* As they reach the asteroid, the only choice is to hide under the asteroid, and walk along the surface to the ports, unless they want to risk parking beside it and being seen b y the shuttle on it's way back
<DeathStar> 6* Haruki checks and sees there are space suits with grav. boots
<Koala> *James moves to park on the bottom
<Seraphna> Setsuan> "Suit up."
<DeathStar> 6* the shuttle powers down for now
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga grabs a spare suit and begins to work on it to make it fit her size
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale starts to suit up
<DeathStar> 6* Haruki suits up, needing the grav boots
<Seraphna> * Sets and Wolf get in suits, Wolf actually pauses to help Taiga.
<Koala> *James and Kay suit up
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *pulls on some headgear, not needing a full spacesuit due to her cyborg body and tactical suit*
<Nyaomi> 6Mem doesn't, since she doesn't need it
<Koala> James> Well, Once more into the breach and whatnot, whites of their eyes. Lets go.
<Koala> *James opens the shuttle door once everyone is suited up and moves onto the asteroid
<Seraphna> * Wolf and Sets begin to make their way.
<DeathStar> 6* Haruki, despite being a Cheryl daughter, and breathing in space, needs the boots for the asteroid, locking onto it and walking upside down
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale begins to move his way as well
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga does the same, walking along
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *starts moving across the asteroid*
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga looks dizzy, peering "up" and seeing the planet above them
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... ungh..
<Seraphna> Wolf> "This is always so cool."
<Koala> *James moves for the port"Might want to avoid that Lion."
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga walks along; everyone's boots making clank sounds
<kalonZombie> <Hale> What lion?
<Koala> James> She looked dizzy.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> What are you talking about? There's no lions in space. Except the dreaded space-lions, of course.
<Seraphna> * Setsuna keeps an eye out as they move along.
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Long time enemy of the dreaded space-elephant."
<DeathStar> 6* As everyone who has left the shuttle so far, but Mem, walks along, they begin to move up the curve of the ateroid, walking sideways now
<kalonZombie> <Hale> As big as Luna and twice as ferocious as the infamous Space-Panther.
<Nyaomi> 6Mem takes the boots and hops out.
<DeathStar> 6* The others walk up the side; Taiga strains, leg muscle needed, while Haruki not having trouble. Mem walks along lonely like with the boots
<DeathStar> 6* Up ahead on the side-ways part the port is seen
<Nyaomi> 6Mem walks along after the group, feeling out with her senses for others.
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Now that we're getting close, let's figure out what it's letting out and how before we crawl into it."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "No more repeats of the boob base, please."
<DeathStar> 6* The others reach the port, while Mem reaches the curve part.
<Koala> *James looks it over
<DeathStar> 6* It seems excess energy heat ocmes out
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Seems pretty standard for an exhaust port.
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Mmm." *she checks to see if they need any special shielding or if it's fine to go through*
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga climbs in with Haruki
<DeathStar> 6* The ionize field stops scans, and eyes can tell nothing
<DeathStar> 6* Mem finally reaches the others
<Seraphna> * SEts scowls and climbs in with them, Wolf climbing behind.
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale shrugs and follows Taiga
<Seraphna> * JAmes and Kay valiantly follow after.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *starts down after Setsuna*
<Seraphna> * Cass gets to watch her spacesuit clad behind.
<Nyaomi> <Mem> ..." 6She starts to scale down with them.
<DeathStar> 6* As they move along, the heat increases more and more as they have to crawl, the space tight for anyone bigger than Taiga
<DeathStar> <Haruki> ... <Taiga> Geeze...
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Gotta be an access somewhere..."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Still better then shooting our way in... 6*He mumbles
<Koala> *James pants a bit from the heat
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Reminds me of that time in Budapest..."
<DeathStar> 6* As they get along, the heat begins to make them dizzy, and there's still no exit in sight. Taiga in the lead tries to tap into her powers to stay awake, while Haruki begins to look dizzy, the port b oiling them slowly. Will they make it?!

<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta walks onto Iceheart's shuttle
<DeathStar> 6* Prime Zephyr is talking with Alt Chii and Kat who live on it
<Seraphna> * Ulieah steps on and peers around. "Always such a nice ship."
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta has Alt Kasha, Isari, and Alt Elwyn too
<Chain> 6*Miyuki walks onto the shuttle as well
<kalonZombie> 6*As does Mick
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei and Aurica walk up and peer at the shuttle
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Do you need us?
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "Sure. Why not."
<Chain> <Miyuki> I guess its alright....just be careful
<kalonZombie> <Mick> Sure. Why not? Hey, pick a number between one and a billion.

<Chain> <Maddie> You guys take care
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart starts the shuttle up. Cheryl stands and watches them go, arms crossed, Gemi and Emi by her
<Chain> 6*She makes Qay wave his paw
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> .... 6* She glances at Prime Chii, then ahead, not stopping the kids
<kalonZombie> <Mick> Don't let Qay wear you out too much, love. I want a bit when I get back.

<Chain> 6*she returns the kiss

<DeathStar> 6* The camera focuses inside as the ship flies along
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Leaping into light space in 10 seconds

<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta buckles herself in and closes her eyes, hoping they find her Cheryl
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei and Aurica sit down, bnuckling in, making sure Umi and Bro are settled down.

<kalonZombie> 6*He guesses it exactly, including any bits where she changes her mind when she guesses right
<DeathStar> 6* The ship leaps into light space; after everyone wakes up a moment later from the white void, they are in an empty area of space

<DeathStar> 6* Up ahead, there's a comet that's going super fast. Iceheart brings it up on the view screen and zooms ahead
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "This one seems a little wild for a prison. But I suppose it makes escape very hard."
<kalonZombie> <Mick> Even if you did escape you'd have no idea where you are.
<Nyaomi> <Kasha> *yawn* Are we there yet?
<Chain> 6*Umi and Bro growl playfully shaking their toy

<Seraphna> * Ulieah thinks. "Make shuttle faster or find a means to get ahead of it."
<Chain> <Miyuki> I hope that wont mean we have to make the shuttle lighter
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart studies, then speaks. "I can push the boosters and engines to the limit, but it won't last long. That means you all have to somehow get onto that comet before the engines break down."

<Seraphna> Ulieah> "Space suits, or our way onto the comet needs to also be directly into the base."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> *she taps her chin* The problem is getting from the shuttle to the comet surface
<Chain> <Miyuki> Yeah....I could foxhole if we are close enough...but even then thats dangerous...
