<DeathStar> 6* Arriving on the comet's surface, and Iceheart's shuttle perhaps having been destroyed, the group stands on the shaking icy surface, with pockets of the comet occassionally exploding with gas and heat. Miyuki, exhausted from the long and intense foxhole, is leaning against Zephyr, while Rosetta looks about. The group consists of: Miyuki, Kasha, Elwyn, Zephyr, Katrina, Mick, Lorelei, Aurica, Iceheart, and Ulieah, with Rosetta the leader
<Chain> 6*Miyuki squints, trying with what little reserves she has to find them a safe way in, her head throbbing
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina and Iceheart, naturally, are not there
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr leads Miyuki along the surface to find the base
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Everytone okay?
<Seraphna> * Ulieah peers around, looking up adnd back towards where they last saw the shuttle in worry.

<Seraphna> Ulieah> "We... need to find a way in... if it was destroyed, they may have gotten out in an escape pod or suits."
<DeathStar> <Rosetta. You keep saying "in". We don't know if the base is on the surface or not yhet until we explore people
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta eyes them all with a Cheryl look. "So keep walking."
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei and Auri exchange looks, then follow Rosetta as she treks along the shaking comet's surface, Rosetta scanning
<Nihao> 6Kasha peers slowly at Miyuki leaning on Zephyr, then moves to the front of the group, cracking her knuckles.
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "...Wouldn't we have to get inside either way?" *she blinks and keeps walking*
<Nihao> <Elwyn> Oi, Rosetta, you going to be okay without Mem?
<Nihao> 6Elwyn grins playfully, the younger version still a flirt and definitely a personality to deal with. 1"She's always looking over your shoulder. Real potential for a sensei~~~ relationship there..."
<Chain> 6*Miyuki keeps trying to sense out anything that might help, electric fields, water in pipes and anything else that could lead them
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta blinks, then jerks. "Mem is not like that."
<DeathStar> 6* So far Miyuki and others' natural senses are being messed up by the comet's natural field and movement. The comet seems to havebeen chosen purposefully.
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei and Aurica look about, when aurica squeals as a gas pocket shoots her up into the air, gravity not good on the comet

<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei grabs a rope and throws it up
<Seraphna> * Ulieah blinks and frowns, whispering for aid in case it doesn't work, "A second time..."

<Seraphna> * Ulieah grabs Lore and holds her so she doesn't go up with Aurica, forming crystals at her foot to anchor herself.

<DeathStar> <Zephyr> What's the most stable part of a comet, the front, right? That's where I'd put a base
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr peers around to see if she's right
<Nihao> <Elwyn> Wouldn't the front hit stuff?
<Chain> <Miyuki> isnt that where it also has the most friction?
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> But the back turns into a tail and gas, I thought
<DeathStar> 6* She slumps
<Nihao> <Kasha> Underground per usual
<Chain> <Miyuki> and the center has the fuel
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "The most stable place would be inside or at the back."
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "Everything flying off the comet goes around the sides and away, the very back would be the most untouched."
<DeathStar> <Rosetta> Lets head there
<Chain> 6*Miyuki nods
<Seraphna> * Ulieah nods.
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta heads that way; as the comet travels along, the star in the solar system is slowly coming into view as a planet that was blocking it is getting out of the way, heating up the comet.

<Chain> <Miyuki>....this is going to make it hard for us to see
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> You okay, my purple wonder?
<Chain> <Miyuki>the heat will cause the particles around the comet to glow more
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei begins to pant a little as they move along
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta pauses and grabs her back pack
<DeathStar> <Rosetta> Aya gave us something in case of an emergency... *She begins to pull out strange large goggles*

<Chain> <Miyuki> We're going to have to go in anyrate, since comets have insides of ice
<Chain> ^ice,dust and metals
<DeathStar> 6* She passes it around. Lorelei when she puts her's on looks like her eyes have grown 4 times their normal size, anime effect
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> How do I look? <Aurica> Ha ha ha ha
<Seraphna> * Ulieah puts hers on, then makes a fabulous pose.
<Nihao> <Elwyn> Dorks-- like always
<DeathStar> 6* AS they move along, Lorelei falls out of sight suddenly, a squeal. Aurica deadpans.

<Nihao> 6Kasha blinks and before putting on goggles leaps down after her
<DeathStar> 6* Kasha finds herself falling down a shaft
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei bounces, scrambling and grabbing edges to slow her ascent, allowing Kasha to catch up mid-way
<Chain> 6*Miyuki hauls hers on and moves to where they both fell in
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta peers down.
<DeathStar> <Rosetta> Looks like a way in. *She scans, the scanner saying it's made of rock and ice*
<Chain> <Miyuki> then lets move, we might not have a chance otherwise
<DeathStar> 6* Meanwhile, the sun is heating and making the comet on the outside unbearablelyh bright with more gas*
<Seraphna> * Ulieah looks down. "It could simply be a pocket. We should move carefully."
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta attaches a rope and slides down. Zephyr helps Miyuki down
<Seraphna> * Ulieah glides down along the rope after them.
<Chain> 6*Miyuki hauls Mick and anyone else down
<Chain> 6*Umi hops in last and seals it shut , temporarily but long enough so they can get down safely
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei adjusts herself as they move down, and using Kasha, reaches the bottom, landing amongst ice crystals. It seems to be a dead end, but the walls look weak
<Seraphna> * Ulieah peers at the walls and hmms. "I could ask Snap to try and take care of the wall?"
<Chain> <Miyuki> or we could have some of our 'tanks' ram into them
<Nihao> 6Kasha exhales, then brings her fist back, feet sliding and punches one of the thinner walls.
<Nihao> <Kasha> Hiiyaaaa!!
<Seraphna> * Ulieah pouts and pats the air, seemingly petting nothing at all. "It's okay, one day you will shine."
<DeathStar> 6* The ice wall begins to crack, then shatters, then more walls begin to crak

<DeathStar> 6* A few iciciles fall around them
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Lore suggest - we move just in case!
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei hurries through the wall hole
<DeathStar> 6* Aurica jerks and hisses, following
<Seraphna> * Ulieah moves along after her.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr moves along as the area drops and cracks
<Chain> 6*Miyuki,Mick and Umi hurry through
<DeathStar> 6* The next room looks more rockish, but the odd thing is that it smells like shit. Lorelei begins to gag and cry

<Seraphna> * Ulieah wrinkles her nose. "I believe we have found the latrine."
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta makes a face and looks around; in front of them is a brownish sludge pond where the smell emits, and a metallic tube going into it

<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I'm glad I do not breathe. 6* Lorelei pauses and stops breathing, as does Aurica
<Chain> <Miyuki> this stuff is usually ejected out the side
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Well, the Illium do not shit do my knowledge, so... <Rosetta> The prisoners?>
<Nihao> <Elwyn> ... fuck...
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta walks to the pool to scan it slowly
<Chain> 6*Umi...being a dog inspects the tube
<DeathStar> 6* Waste is definitely coming out it now and again - it's the size of a person so one coulod crawl through it through the wall

<Seraphna> Ulieah> "The good news is that this is a sign they are still alive."

<Nihao> 6Kasha is leaning against one of the ice walls looking dizzy and nauseous

<Nihao> 6Kasha finishes wiping at her mouth, then jerks, eyeing Miyuki. 1"Th-the hell?"

<DeathStar> <Rosetta> I'm lost.
<Nihao> <Kasha> Me too.
<Chain> <Miyuki> Look, I might not have a lot of energy, but, I can probably freeze what...junk is in there. It can be used for hand and foot holds to climb
<Chain> <Miyuki> and thankfully...it'll be ice we're touching and not....it
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Not bad. I knew I married you two for your brains as well as the sex.
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "Don't waste it."
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "I can have Snap freeze it for you."
<Nihao> <Kasha> I just gave you my energy." 6She squints.
<Chain> 6*Miyuki touches the tube and focuses on freezing
<DeathStar> <Rosetta> Save snap for now
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta tells Ulieah
<DeathStar> <Rosetta> Why waste your move on something like this instead of comb ay.
<Seraphna> * Ulieah nods and frowns a bit.
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "She always drains herself out is all..."

<DeathStar> 6* The shit flow slowly freezes. Zephyr leans into Kasha, speaking to her only. <By the way.>
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "From what she said it didn't sound like much." *she shrugs* "But I will wait to use the Summons."
<Chain> <Miyuki> Oi, its what leaders do, so please. save it for when we're in a battle. I'd rather one of us be able to pack a full punch than two drained people

<DeathStar> 6* As they climb up they find themselves in the bottom of a frozen machine, with what seems to be a lot of tubes going into their waste dump, al lstopped
<DeathStar> 6* lorelei takes a moment and focuses, then breaks open a tube and climbs out
<Seraphna> * Ulieah frowns a little.
<Chain> 6*Miyuki deadpans at Lore and senses out if anyone is near'
<Seraphna> * Ulieah waits a bit below, since others are ahead of her.
<DeathStar> 6* It seems it's clear
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei shakes her tails outside the tube
<Chain> 6*Miyuki signals to the others its clear and climbs out as well
<DeathStar> 6* It seems it was the only way out, as the tubes were to osmall to climb in
<Seraphna> * Ulieah climbs out once others ahead of her do and adjusts her silky shift.
<DeathStar> 6* They find themselves in an Illium waste disposal, the machine set up with small tubes going up and throughout the walls and ceiling to who knows where, and the machine, partially frozen, an alarm light blinking right now, but silently, set up with guages in Illium. All the DS people climb out and look about, the 3 level waste disposal, with them on level 2, and a staircase going down to the bottom level where mechanics can work on the machine, and stairs going up to the elevators to leave
<DeathStar> 6* The machine looks overly complicated for waste disposal, with the machine having all sorts of of knobs and readings
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei, once they're all out, tries to put the tube casing back on
<DeathStar> <Aurica> Mom is going to kill you
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta eyes all the readings
<Chain> 6*Umi and Mick climb out soon after
<Seraphna> * Ulieah peers at the machines. "What's wrong with it...?"
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> MAybe it didn't like being frozen
<DeathStar> <Aurica> Or blasted by Lore
<Chain> <Miyuki> isnt there a manual over ride?
<Nihao> <Elwyn> ..." 6she examines it
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta reads what little she knows of Illium. "They seem to be putting a lot of addititives and chemicals we never heard of into it, and this thing is reading the levels."
<DeathStar> 6* Elwyn, if she knows any Illium, would get the jist that the red lever would likely turn the alarm off
<Nihao> 6Elwyn yanks the red level
<DeathStar> 68 Meanwhile, the elevator light is indi cating someone is coming down. The alarm light stops
<DeathStar> <Aurica> Someone is coming
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "Maintainence. Hide?"
<Nihao> 6Elwyn peers toward the doorway. 1"Got it."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr takes Miyu and Lorelei her doggy, and Aurica and Rosetta hide in the shadows as the doors begin to open and two Illium maintence workers, standing at about 7 feet tall walk in, not glittering due to lack of lighting down here
<DeathStar> 6* One is female, with long white hair, and the other is male
<Seraphna> Ulieah> *has slipped off to hide as well*
<Chain> 6*Mick hides as well
<DeathStar> 6* The female pauses, peering toward the sound of slight movement
<Nihao> 6Elwyn lashes out with her whip, gesturing to the other with the Iceheart and activates it to try and freeze the male while she has a hold on the other, dropping from the ceiling
<DeathStar> 6* The whip wraps around the female, catching her by surprise more than anything, and the freeze hits the male, making him stumble and drop his tools
<Nihao> 6Elwyn yanks the whip and shifts forward stepping on her foot to pull her off her feet, focusing and leaping to stomp on the male.
<Seraphna> * Ulieah watches from her hiding spot with a frown.
<DeathStar> 6* Elwyn leaps dramatically and stomps against the male -- and it feels like she just stomped a steel wall, knocking her back flat on her back. The female turns, working to try to free herself, when Lorelei begins to act, sliding and kicking the back of the female's knees
<DeathStar> 6* She makes a face of pain as the female tips
<Chain> 6*Miyuki rubs her face and freezes the pair
<Nihao> <Elwyn> I didn't freeze him enough!
<DeathStar> 6* The female makes sounds in Illium as she hits a railing, leaning on it and pulls the whip off and the male finally shrugs off the freezing, when he's hit again. Zephyr rushes in and puts her blaster against the male's back so alarms can't pick up on it and fires point blank, damaging her hand severely and the Illium's back/spine showing as she's sthrown back
<Nihao> 6Elwyn groans, twisting and turning on the floor afte rfalling from her stomp failing
<Nihao> 6Kasha catches Zephyr. <What do I do...>
<DeathStar> 6* The male gags in pain and falls forward, alive with his spine showing, trying to rise, as Zephyr holds her blistered hand, and the female struggles to free herself from the second freeze
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> <Spine--just take it out...it's..exposed...>
<Seraphna> * Ulieah forms a crystal baton and leans out, she whacks the spine.
<Chain> 6*Umi pounces on the female
<DeathStar> 6* The spine is severed and the male goes limp
<DeathStar> 6* The female swallows and looks at Umi
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei and Aurica come out of hiding - sadly the outfits are way too big for disguises unless someone can resize them
<Chain> 6*Umi just sits on her
<Seraphna> * Ulieah's ears droop and she looks over at the female. She whispers, "Please surrender quietly."
<DeathStar> 6* Half frozen she eyes them all, not moving
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta steps out silently and feels along the male, grabbing a card key
<DeathStar> 6* She then tosses his body down into a corner
<Chain> 6*Mick comes out of his hiding place
<Chain> <Mick> well this is a royal mess...
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr holds her hand, waiting on the healing to kick in
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Guess we have to decide...what to do with her. 6* The white haired Illium eyes them all, wide eyed

<DeathStar> 6* James, leadind Haruki, Kay, Mem, Cassandra, Setsuna, Hale and Wolf into the asteroid base through the heated pipes, after space walking on the under side, with Taiga along for the sight seeing tour, has gotten into a small engineering room somewhere below, where the group, overheated from their walk in the exhaust port, has gotten a moment to catch their breath in trying to find the brainwashing lab where Caesura might be hidden, according to the bread loving Illium named T
<DeathStar> 6* Haruki cleans her blades, while Taiga looks about; there seems to be only one door to leave this area, due to the way they came in through the pipe - the engineering door
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Man, those were some wild adventures (of screen)
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Wild times. I'm just glad that Setsuna and I found our clothes again."
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Amazing ones."

<DeathStar> 6* Taiga heads to the one door, as if assuming leadership from James

<DeathStar> 6* Taiga tinkers with it and a spark flies and the door opens part way

<DeathStar> 6* The door opens up along the side, revealing the worker's part of the asteroid base, a set of finely made staircases going up, tightly packed so it goes up in a narrow space, constantly looping in a square box, stopping at various floors, or if you need to walk along a floor, you have to move along a narrow catwalk for an Illium, but spacious enough to shimmy for the gorup
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga walks through and up to the stairs, studying the Illium writing
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Who reads Illium? *Haruki walks in and eyes the bottom floor writing*
<Seraphna> Wolf> "I know a bit of it now."

<Seraphna> * Wolf tries to read it.

<Nihao> 6Mem peers at Haruki and nudges. 1"You read Illium?"
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga after hearing it moves up the stairs to the next floor, where she has Wolf read. They slowly work their way up. Haruki glances at Mem and considers
<DeathStar> <Haruki> I know how to speak some basics, but not read it.
<Nihao> <Mem> Alright.
<DeathStar> 6* On the 15th floor, Taiga perks up: according to the arrows, the labs are further along, meaning they have to shimmy along. Taiga, being small, walks along the narrow worker space, while those who have any real muscle or width have trouble
<DeathStar> 6* Haruki gracefully follows
<Seraphna> * Setsuna has no trouble, the damn ninja, while Wolf has to move carefully.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *does have some issues, being both busty and heavy*
<Nihao> 6Mem is stupidly overqualified in training and walks right along
<DeathStar> 6* After 15 mins of moving along, Wolf reads a sign: Lab Maintenence, and there's another door with a hand print. Taiga points
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Likely on the other side is the lab, and this is how maintenence workers get here
<DeathStar> <Haruki> Or at least part of the lab.
<DeathStar> 6* She eyes the hot and beepingt equipment around them
<Seraphna> Wolf> "It's a start."

<DeathStar> 6* She opens it up and sees the boxes are labeled with strange Illium words and tools are on the ground. One can easily walk by them into the lab area, where the lights are flashing. This is just one small part of the lab, juding by the door. There's a table for examinations and a terminal, and a machine that comes down to probe
<Seraphna> * Setsuna starts moving forward, stealthily, while Wolf eyes the boxes.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *hangs back, letting the stealthers do recon and ready to lay down suppressing fire if it comes to that*

<DeathStar> 6* The room turns out to be empty thankfully as they enter, the boxes are labeled: Organic Supplies and seem to be empty right now
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga huffs into the room, her cheek cut and her left eye bruised
<Seraphna> * Wolf pats her, and Setsuna moves forward, trying to get an idea of where they should go to find Cae.

<DeathStar> 6* The terminal has errors from the damage, allowing Setsua in. There seems to be a new specimen, labeled, in Illium, Voice Cry

<DeathStar> 6* Taiga marches up and moves up to the door and goes to open it

<Seraphna> Setsuna> "That would be Cae." *she looks into the info and sees if she can do anything with it while Wolf nods and readies her rifle again.
<DeathStar> 6* Haruki looks about as Taiga, revealing a large square room with tiny square rooms like the one they're in. The one they're in has a tiny red light above in, while some of green lights. There appears to be 36 rooms in this large lab, and despite the malfuction, 12 of them of have green lights. As Setsuna looks, she an see Cae is in one of the rooms, her experient currently taking place, as they try to figure out the source of her power and a back up generator is in each room to make sure the power does not go out
