<DeathStar> 6* Following the return of both groups, they have spent the days resting and enjoying each other's company on Aya, code name Oracle's, hidden planet in the nebula located far away from the big civilization's. Parents reunited with children, like Rosetta and Dawn. And downtime for married couples, like Miyuki and Zephyr and Kasha to spend time with another and think about starting their own families, and asking Prime Cheryl to remove the seals and give Zephyr eggs so she can get pregnant, hopefully. And time for bonding and making friends, like with James and Marshall. (cont)
<DeathStar> 6* And there is has been time for desperate manuevers between loved ones, such as asking Lorelei to see if Mick truly needed the tumor, and finding out it enhanced his psionic powers, and was not the cause of it. Following this revelation, they brought in the doctor, Isara Graves, to operate on him, and it was successful. Spending the next three days recovering, the tech geniuses - Myria and others - have begun to work on psionic enhancements, head gear - for him to wear once he gets out of the hospital. (Gear)
<DeathStar> 6* Raids on ships for booze, so there can be laughter and parties, teaching the Arcana Cheryl clones, and the Dragoon Cheryl clones lessons, with Alt Megumi and Alt Zephyr as teachers, enrolling them, it seems the week will pass by in peace, with Prime Cheryl relaxing and teaching her own kids things while they're there. Until finally, Aya calls all active personal, Mick recovering just in time to be able to attend, his head gear not yet on him, to the big conference room, where a long table is set up and fresh food is on it, for some sort of meeting. What has she discovered?

<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart walks in and sits down, sipping a drink, with Katrina taking another seat by her. Haruki sits, saving a spot for Mem
<Seraphna> * Angela sits there, Eclair by her, Ulieah, Wolf and Setsuna are also present. Sammael sitting in a corner. Leyaeh walks in slowly and takes a seat.

<DeathStar> <Aya> Yes, it took time, and Lorelei transforming Kasha's language centers, but we began to learn more about the Illium language enough to reprogram our translation programmers
<DeathStar> <Aya> As long as you all now have your datapads, all Illiums will be translated.
<Aqua> James> I already know it though.
<Kit> <Kasha> <... You know, a dragon. God, stop being so sensitive. Crybaby.>
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Alternatively, I cna surgically implant a translation chip into the language center of your brain."

<DeathStar> <Aya> But she did give us some information on how Illium technology, with Kasha's help, to make it seem like one of our shuttles is giving off an Illium signal, which will be crucical to the upcoming mission
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Sounds like it's going to be explosive."
<DeathStar> <Aya> And we put some Illium metal on the outer hull to make it look like one, but close inspection and they will know the truth
<Chain> <Miyuki><Did you choke her or try to drown her? maybe its the Illium sign of affection>
<DeathStar> <Aya> Now. The second thing before I move onto the mission. James.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> I know how much you love explosions, Wolf.
<Aqua> James> Yes?
<DeathStar> <Aya> James, the prisoners you found that were being experimented on, this is the break through, combined with the Arcana girls Miyuki found before
<DeathStar> <Aya> It seems the Illium are trying to genetically alter beings, we still can't discern completely why, but it seems they are looking for certain genomes, and they are tinkering with it. Caesura being a weapon, is a clear reason she was picked. They were trying to enhance her and find out what made her tick.
<DeathStar> <Aya> The humans you rescued were all metahuman in some way. And the Illium girl you found, who was smaller and punier than the other Illiums, she had a defective genome that made her unlike the other Illiums
<kalonZombie> <Mick> And then there was me.
<Aqua> James> So super soldiers?
<Seraphna> * Angela's eyes grow dark and she peers at the table.
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Well it explains why they nabbed quite a few of the people they nabbed."
<Kit> <Kasha> <... You were the last one to threaten her...> 6She grows quieter again.
<DeathStar> <Aya> They were dissecting them all and trying to figure them out. Hence legs being cut off. We questioned the girl based off the language codes we got from Kaill and she said that she has always been an independent thinker and weaker than other Illiums, and that she saw things differently. We thought she meant mentally, but she meant it literally, she sees through her eyes idfferently
<DeathStar> <Aya> The girl also seems devoted to you now, James, as a side note. Her name is Tsuchera
<Aqua> *James nods "I know, I gave her one of the rooms in my house "
<Kit> <Dawn> But Cherry was taken somewhere else..." 6She murmurs, watching from the back, leaning on a wooden stick and the wall.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Anyway, using the genomes they were dissecting and what they were looking for, I began to run a search
<Seraphna> Angela> "Odd, their interest in genetic manipulation if they look at abberants as different from themselves."
<DeathStar> <Aya> And cross mixed it with the Arcana clones and the dragoon clones you all found. And there's a facility that came up with a hit
<DeathStar> 6* Prime Cheryl leans forward, curious, since she promised to help the little Cheryls find the real Alternate Cheryl
<Aqua> *James leans forward
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Maybe genetic uniformity is a threat to their own development. Perhaps their species is genetically stagnant."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya taps a map, and the Sol system comes up. Phobes of Mars.

<DeathStar> <Prime Cheryl> So close to where I need to release my powers...
<Seraphna> Angela> *lets out a weak chuckle* "It would be Mars..."
<Aqua> *James blinks "Interesting"
<DeathStar> <Aya> I noticed that, too, Cheryl.
<DeathStar> <Aya> I believe Cheryl and other high target profile prisoners might be there, and genome experiments.

<DeathStar> <Aya> And since it's close to the area of the moon Cheryl needs to be to do her thing, which is heavily fortified, one is going to affect the other. But we need a full group to achieve either.

<Seraphna> Angela> "The Omega Dragoons were made on the Janus Base that was on Mars..." *she murmurs*
<DeathStar> <Aya> We have to do this in such a way that we can rescue our Cheryl, yet not compromise going to the Moon
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Not exactly a small order.
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "Soundng suspiciously like two teams attacking at once here."
<DeathStar> <Aya> I agree. I see this as a two part concurrent mission. But there's some overlap of teams.
<Aqua> James> So split the teams
<DeathStar> <Aya> Prime Cheryl, for example, is going to be in both groups, and some others. We need our best inflitrators, and a few of our heavy hitters with explosives, to go in and get our people out, while our noisest people wait nearby to extract them, and monitor things near the Moon and the Illium fleet
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Wolf, let's make things go boom.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Once the first team pulls out the prisoners, the one team comes in and pulls them out and takes them to the moon. The extract team will also be making sure the area is clear around the Moon, without raising an alarm, with the Illium Covert Ship
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Guess I know where I'm going."
<DeathStar> <Prime Cheryl> I guess I'll lead the inflitration team.
<Aqua> James> I'll go with the extraction team
<kalonZombie> <Mick> Infiltration.
<DeathStar> <Prime Cheryl> And take the arcana girls with me, they wanted to go. <Haruki> I am going with you, Cheryl
<Seraphna> * Leyaeh and Setsuna volunteer for Infiltration.
<Kit> <Dawn> As if I wouldn't go to save my wife...
<Kit> <Isara> If you need explosives... heavy artillery?" 6She grins, looking over at Wolf

<Seraphna> Wolf> "Whichever I fit best in. Seems both need heavy hitters."
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "Extraction. I'll call HIM in."
<Aqua> Kay> I'll go with the infiltration
<Kit> <Mem> I'll... be with extraction this time.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> I'm with whatever team Wolf's on.
<Kit> <Mem> I'm thinking something might come up that will require certain talents of mine. Haruki can keep me informed and Cheryl can use the protocol to reach me.

<Seraphna> * Angela sits back, Eclair clinging onto her. She peers at Aya. "...I'm guessing you'll need help in Ops."
<DeathStar> Aya> Yes. *she looks at Myria* This might sound odd, but I want you on the Extraction ship
<Chain> 6*Marshall nods, while Miyuki doesnt look exactly likr she's joining in
<DeathStar> <Aya> We need one of us techies overseeing the ship and making sure it keeps reading Illium data
<Aqua> Mars> I'll be Myria assistant.

<Seraphna> Angela> "I should be going to retrieve Lemon..." *Eclair gives a worried look*

<Jackieness> <Myria> "I guess I could go. I've been improving my algorithm for cracking into Illium data centers!"
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Once it comes to flying the ship to the moon, Id like to take control of that mission too

<DeathStar> 6* The ship flies through space, a rather medium sized vessel, with a decent sized cargo hanger, a small bridge where Iceheart is flying, and Myria has her own console to maintain the Illium pinging codes, and the outer hull is a meshmash of Illium metal from hell
<DeathStar> 6* There is a mid-section of rooms with three beds each, so there's not a lot of privacy, and communinal showers on each deck
<DeathStar> 6* The Inflitration Team is currently: Cheryl, Haruki, Lorelei, Cass, Kay, Cae, Setsuna, Leyaeh, Mick, Qua, Del, Marshall, Rosetta, Dawn
<DeathStar> And the ship team, after they go down, called the Extraction Team, which will keep an eye out, is James, Zephyr, Myria, Iceheart, Wolf, Hale, Taiga, Aurica, Mars, Ulieah
<DeathStar> 6* Since Aya said the two groups would combine afterwards, one has to wonder why so many people wanted in on this, perhaps since it has an air of finality

<DeathStar> <Iceheart> I know you all didn't really have time to look, and their positions aren't the same, but Aya is working off what you all saw last itme. 6* She points at a huge map of Sol, and areas of red being Illium stuff

<DeathStar> <Iceheart> The huge red near the moon, their space station no one can get near, the other reds near it are their fleet, the red on the moon is an Moon Base.

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl taps her comm, letting the Inflitration team know to go to the hanger
<Aqua> *Del nods and moves for the hangar, grabbing his pack

<Seraphna> * Leyaeh gives her niece a kiss and heads down, Setsuna nods to Cassandra. "Let's go down and meet them hon."
<DeathStar> 6* Haruki, forming her dragoon armor, goes there, along with Lorelei, wearing strange armor. Caesura hops along in, wearing some oversized Illium armor that has holes in it from being shot with a rail gun

<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart moves her finger to mars. "Mars itself have a base, along with Deimos, with a fleet patrolling around it?" <Rosetta> Yes. <Iceheart> And from what you saw when you left, what about the asteroid field? <Rosetta> I can't... remember anything. Just the outer reaches like Jupiter having bases and neptune and stuff

<Aqua> *Qay sits, a tiny machine pistol hanging from a sling on his shoulder
<DeathStar> <Rosetta> You remember anything in the asteroids?
<Seraphna> Sets> "I was a prime location for black ops bases."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Nothing major. But that's alot of space debris to hide things in."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> What I was thinking; okay, you can go to the hanger
<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta nods and heads down to join the others on her team
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> *comms James* James, you and a few on your team, come up here; timer is at 3 minutes or so
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga pops in, as does Zephyr, who waves at Myria
<Seraphna> * Setsuna heads to the hangar with Cassandra.

<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Anyway, as you know, this ship, if other Illium ships get close, will be given away, Myria's signal or not
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> And there's a lot of patrols from the edge of Sol where the debatable 9th planet is to Mars.
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart points at the map. "And we can't be sure these red spots are accurate outside the bases. So it's your call, on the faster more direct route, or do you want me to fly closer to planets, and risk damage, to avoid patrol routes, fly through Saturn's rings to avoid patrol routes, fly near Jupiter, then go into the asteroid belt, and emerge near the Mars moon we want
<Aqua> *James thinks for a moment "We'll go with the rings, least chance for patrols and damage."
<Aqua> James> We need the ship working if we want to get home.
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Yeah, damage we can repair, our cover being blown we can't fix."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Alright, through the rings and asteroid belt it is
<Aqua> *James nods and leans back
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale nods
<DeathStar> 6* An alarm bloops, indicating they are dropping from hyperspace. Iceheart takes the controls, setting fox Chii in her tiny little arm chair seat, and leans forward, and they exit
<DeathStar> 6* She weaves off to the right, heading for Neptune immediately
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> You broadcasting full force, Myria?
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei pets Umi's head in the hanger, shivering suddenly
<Chain> 6*Umi cuddles her
<Jackieness> <Myria> *taps on her console* "I'm beeping!"
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Lorelei got bad feeling
<Chain> 6*Umi growls as if in confirmation
<kalonZombie> <Mick> Same.
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart flies them around the side of Neptune, and boosts toward Jupiter as fast as she can. As they near, an Illium patrol is seen in the distance. It begins to approach slowly, and so Iceheart begins to get closer, getting into the actual clouds of Jupiter, and the orange outer layers begin to engulf the screen so nothing is seen, the controls stiffening a little
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart makes a face as she tries to strain, adjusting boosters to keep them from being pulled in more
<Seraphna> * Wolf frowns, watching.
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale watches, a bead of sweat forming
<Seraphna> Setsuna> "You left the stove on or something, right Lore?"
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl eyes the rocking as the skirt the outer layers of Jupiter. Finally, Iceheart pulls a lever marked Chii and they boost wildly forward, escaping and head away from Jupiter
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Um, nope!
<DeathStar>  6* Pulling the lever back down, they return to normal speed and approach the asteroid belt, entering it. Large asteroids float all about and Iceheart enters it slowly, trying to keep it steady, focusing on it ocmpletely to keep from crashing. The next hour, a tense silence falls over the bridge as Iceheart owrks her way past rocks, at a slow but steady pace
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl has set up chairs for them in the hanger
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, Myria's controls screeeeeeech, indicating the Illium console they have just sent out a signal to something in the asteroids to tell it they are an Illium, but nothing is visible
<DeathStar> <Taiga> What the who?! *She jerk awake*
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> What was that? *She leans forward*
<kalonZombie> <Hale> The hell?
<Seraphna> Wolf> "A probe!?"
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart's eyes flick about, the screech ending and they fly on, no sign of the source
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Uh-oh. I got a ping!"
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Or a black ops base."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> If it was a base, they would have seen us
<DeathStar> 6* 10 minutes later, another screeeeeech sounds
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Anything on sensors?"
<Kit> 6Chii cries at the sound ;A;
<DeathStar> <ICeheart> No
<DeathStar> 6* Up ahead, an asteroid turns slightly, and Zephyr points at it. "There!"
<DeathStar> 6* She points at a shadow on it's belly. Taiga mutes the screech
<DeathStar> <Taiga> There you go, Alt Momma
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga eyes the shadow. "Whoa!"
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale squints at it
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> What? I don't see shit!"
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Use the screen's enhancer
<Jackieness> <Myria> *taps on a console and overlays an arrow on the screen to point it out*
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart slows and taps it. On the bottom of it is an Illium sentry, with what appears to be deadly electric weapons on the end to fry ships that pass by
<DeathStar> 6* Myria's overlays bring it up more, pointing out things and readings pop up as she does it
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Heh, they set up traps. Think our signal was enough?"
<DeathStar> 6* Showing it's power level
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart moves on by
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> We're not fried. Myria, now that you got that identified, keep an eye out for more
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart flies along. Myria's scanner begins to bring up that the asteroid field is covered in them
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Hold on." *taps on her console and red dots appear on the display* "There you go."
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart grimaces, and begins to fly to avoid them
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Nice.
<DeathStar> 6* Taking the time to avoid them, it takes another hour, but they soon emerge near Phobes.
<DeathStar> 6* Waiting on the large Illium battle cruiser to move on from it's patrol, Iceheart moves in toward the planet, tapping a button. The hanger begins to shift and prepare to turn itself into a shuttle. Controls rise up and cheryl takes them
<kalonZombie> <Mick> Fancy.
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart flies toward the atmopshere, hand on the lever to detatch the hanger
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Well, now the hard part starts."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Yeah, for them; we just have to make sure the area stays clear, and go see how bad the Moon area is
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart skims the atmosphere and detatches them, flying on. Never noticing what is below that she is sending them down into.
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: Aya's Planet
<DeathStar> 6* Aya sits in her seat, so far viewing things from the camera's on both ships. She chats with Miyuki and Angela. "So far everything is going well, though as you can see, the asteroid belt met with more resistance than we expected."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya notes to Miyuki, as the camera on Iceheart's ship shows them leaving Phobes, heading in the direction of the Moon to investigate
<Chain> 6*Miyuki nods, sipping tea
<DeathStar> 6* She enhances Cheryl's shuttles' camera as they descend toward the moon, flying in. <Cheryl> Alright, everyone hold onto something, we're going to fly in fast with no power at first like we're an asteroid, to fool scanners
<Seraphna> * Angela watches, nodding a little.
<kalonZombie> 6*Robb watches intently
<Seraphna> Angela> "This was going to be a dangerous trip... we knew that."
<Chain> 6*Miyuki watches sternly, Athena peeking in to watch
<DeathStar> 6* The moon's surface begins to come in, looing normal as Cheryl flies to the location that Aya found the base, but a they get closer, the screen begins to slow static a little, then more, and as the ground comes into view where the base, Aya lets out a little gasp. The ground is a hedious looking black nest, like something out of an Alien moving, and an Illium base is constructed in the middle, the nest shifting and moving like it's alive. <Cheryl> What the fuck--- 6* Anhd then the camera cuts out, the nest sending out some sort of jamming signal
<DeathStar> <Aya> .... What in gods' name was that?
<kalonZombie> <Robb> Holy shit...
<Chain> <Miyuki> Nightmare fuel
<Seraphna> Angela> "Something we didn't consider."
<Seraphna> Angela> "We don't know who else the Illium are working with, or what else they've cooked up."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya grimaces. "The question is, did the Illiums make it, or did their experiments with Cheryl and the other prisoners make it..."
