<DeathStar> 6* Aurica remains off the bridge, not liking all the body odor mixing

<Kit> <Mem> We've been having difficulties with our communications gear for ages, hence how long it took to respond. It's an old clunker.
<DeathStar> 6* The voice pauses at the words, as if the Illium on the other side is completely baffled at Mem's speech pattern and words
<DeathStar> <Voice> What is your name, rank and code for this sector? *they ask as the distortion fixes*
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga flails her armas at code for this sector, eyeing Myria at that, as if she could pull something up
<Seraphna> * Ulieah flails with her.
<Aqua> *Mars looks to see if she can find anything
<Jackieness> <Myria> *taps on her screen, sending a signal indicating a high priority clearance for a special mission, i.e. do not mess with because more important people say so*

<DeathStar> 6* Taiga moves over to the computer, and looks over it and tries to find the name of a captain and his rank
<Aqua> *James moves over "This is Commander Nockler from sector 462-Beta."
<Jackieness> <Myria> *goes through personnel data if she has any!*
<DeathStar> <Voice> Who are you and why does your voice not match the code given a moment ago, nor match the one she just gave?
<Aqua> James> We weren't sent as new transfer units to relief a unit

<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart begins to realize a mistake forming and slowly tries to reach for the weapon console
<Seraphna> * Ulieah freezes as James does this and stares slowly.
<Aqua> James> That was my bridge control officer. And that was an accident from my tech officer.

<DeathStar> 6* The transmission ends as the Illium vessel approaches

<DeathStar> 6* Taiga slumps against Myria's console
<Seraphna> WOlf> "Well that was one way to completely end the bluff. Run or fight? Either way we've alerted them."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Sadly, no it isn't. When they get within 20 feet, they'll see we're a fake
<Aqua> *James grabs his shotgun and moves for the dock
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Boarding is bad."

<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart keeps a hand on the shields
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Someone get to the weapons
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "Think we should run..."
<Seraphna> * Wolf moves over to the weapons.
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> If we run, they'll alert others
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> We might get one shot at this, if their shield are down
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "Then we try target their comms first?"

<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Yeah.
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Wait for them to get 1 click from the point they'll see through Myria's field
<Seraphna> * Wolf nods. "Do we have something I cna use to know what I'm aiming for?"
<Jackieness> <Myria> "We had tuned our weapons for improved effectiveness against their armor technology... so no better time for a field test!"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Mem, come here and study the names on this list for next time, and lets pick a good one for the next hail
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga scrolls through them
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Since our code doesn't match this area, we'll need you to come up with a reason we're using it, apparantly. *she points at the name on the list for the space station* Like you're here to report the explosion

<Seraphna> Wolf> "Schematics? Something? Prayer beads?"
<DeathStar> 6* The Illium scout ship reaches the 1 click mark. Iceheart pulls the shield lever and nods to Wolf
<Jackieness> <Myria> *does a quick scan of the Ilium scout ship, displaying any possible weak points on Wolf's display*
<Seraphna> * Wolf does her best to quickly reason out the comms area of the enemy ship and takes aim, letting the weapons fire as soon as they can and she targets, using Myria's help.
<Aqua> *Mars points at the ship, "There-ish" *She guesstimateguesstimate from achematics she has looked at
<Seraphna> * And Mars' help!

<DeathStar> 6* As their shields go up, the Illium ship begins to respond in kind, as Wolf's shots strike it. At close range, their shots damage the tough armor, and Iceheart fires 1 of their payload armors in before their shields raise to strike against the damaged section, blowing out the comm area, and damaging their shields so it flicks off. The Illium scout ship begins to fire, hitting their own shields
<DeathStar> 6* It also turns back for Mars.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Running. If it gets back...

<Seraphna> * Wolf targets the engines next and aims, firing.
<Aqua> *Mars pointa for the engines
<DeathStar> 6* The engines take damage, but keep going. Iceheart chases, not wanting to fire another of the 9 remaining payloads
<Seraphna> * Wolf takes aim again for them and fires.
<Jackieness> <Myria> *scans the Ilium ship again, this time more thoroughly now that no need to hide is necessary and relays any info on targets to Wolf's console*
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Do we have a THE CLAW on this thing?"
<DeathStar> 6* She brings up a side screen of schematics, but there doesn't seem to be too many known weakpoints that the engineer gave them, other than below it and between, and it requires a concentrated blast of high energy
<DeathStar> 6* The scans aren't going through, due to the metal
<Kit> <Mem> Tch... need Haruki to kick it myself
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> No claw
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart flies a bit below it
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> That's a hard shot, Wolf. Can you do it?
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Alright..." *charges up the blast* "Yep, just gotta let it load up aannnnnd..."
<Seraphna> * Wolk takes careful aim at the outlined sweet spot and fires the charged blast when its ready.
<DeathStar> 6* Myria's console shows charging the blast messes with their "guise" and their projected field doesn't do so well
<DeathStar> 6* The blast fires and hits it, causing the engines to blow up, and the back half to explode, sending it flying out of control to the asteroid field, then it blows up finally. Their guise slowly recharges back and restores as Iceheart pulls away
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Well that... worked out.
<Seraphna> Wolf> "I take it we have to use that carefully if it disrupts the guise."
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Umm... the static from charging the weapons is disrupting the field."
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Better late than never..."
<Jackieness> <Myria> "But! We blew them up!"
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart manages to get them away from Mars and as they fly in the deep space between planets, she studies the weaknesses of the smaller vessels the engineer knew about - scout ships and frigates seem to have weakpoints, but nothing on big ones.
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Be nice if we could get inside one of their shipyards while we were here
<Seraphna> Wolf> "To buff up our disguise?"
<DeathStar> 6* The frigates weakpoint seems to be on it's right side, a tiny area between weapons, is where fuel cells are put in. If one blasts the metal off, you can one shot it
<Jackieness> <Myria> "At the very least. We could build a new ship that would be a better match for these sorts of missions."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> No, steal the schematics on all weapons made in the area. I imagine there's bigger ones in the Illium side we haven't seen, further in than even your team, James, has gone, but here at least mid-sized battleships are made
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> But yeah, stealing one would be nice, too
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Docking would be hard though
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> They would make us as we did
<Seraphna> Wolf> "Not sure we can take the risk till the others are out."
<DeathStar> 6* As they fly along, Iceheart navigates around the ships and finally stops with Luna in sight, the huge space stations, three, around Earth, the massive ship yard thats built, with two large battleships being made, five smaller ones, ten frigates, and 20 scout ships. And near Luna is a strange mini station that isn't on any of the maps Rosetta gave
<Aqua> *James nods "That's secondart to the mission obviously
<DeathStar> 6* It seems to be floating around Luna
<Aqua> James> Geeze...
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Huh, that's funny."
<DeathStar> 6* As far as the area goes, there's 3 patrolling battleships, and 10 smaller cruisers
<DeathStar> <Taiga> New?
<Seraphna> Wolf> "That little station wasn't in the briefings."
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Which means it must be important!"
<kalonZombie> <Hale? Just gets more and more interesting...
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Yeah. I doublechecked the map before they left. I knew they couldn't have seen everything escaping Earth
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> It might have been on the wrong side of Luna.
<Seraphna> WOlf> "Si it might be... ours?"
<Seraphna> *So
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Until we learn it's purpose, getting Cheryl between Luna and Earth might be harder. <Taiga> Getting momma between the two might be harder because of that, when you got three stations, a shipyard, and 3 battleships and 10 cruisers?
<DeathStar> 6* The technies would know it's Illium by design
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Oh that is definitely Ilium. Oh, wonder if its a trap for Cheryl."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Well, up to James. We've mapped the area. It's going to the dark side of Luna - we can investigate it
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Next time we get here in a few hours with the rest of them, it could be facing the majority of Illium forces
<Seraphna> Ulieah> "Mew..."
<Aqua> *James rubs his head "Fuck it, might as well."
<Aqua> James> Maybe we could crash it into the moon or something."
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart flies forward, veering to the right and going the long way around to avoid traffic. For the next 20 minutes, they come at Luna from the dark side, the sun blocked by the alignments, so they seem to be in the darkness.
<Aqua> *Mars looks about "Creepy."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Crash a space station into a moon? Sounds fun.
<DeathStar> 6* As they near the mini station, they are hailed by it. "Identify yourself." 6* It's Illium. And sterner than before. The frequency is too high, so Myria needs to knock it down.
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga glances at Mem, having told her about the idea she had for a cover story
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Wouldn't that risk killing humans laboring on the lunar colony?"
<DeathStar> 6* Picking out a female captain from the station
<Aqua> *Mars helps Myria
<Jackieness> <Myria> *lowers the frequency*
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga makes a face and takes the comm.
<Seraphna> * Ulieah rubs her head a little.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> This is Captain Regadere, code Deaeodauadaueadaueada
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga spits it all out, saying it instead of having Myria transmit it easily.
<DeathStar> 6* There's a long pause, and Taiga mutes the comm
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> That's not good.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I didn't fuck up the pronounce, I think
<Seraphna> * Ulieah rubs her head more. "We'll know in a moment."
<Aqua> *James sighs, leaning back
<DeathStar> <Voice> You are a long way from your sector, in a foreign vessel. State your purpose. *the translator is matching words as close as possible from Illium, their way of speaking always formal and differnet*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *presses the button* I was testing this vessel when my station was destroyed and prisoners freed. I tracked them near this sector and came to make a report." *she presses the button*
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> *Raises a brow* Why give them the nugget that our people are in the area?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> They've been at it an hour or so. It'll get them to drop their guard a little
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Toward us
<Kit> 6Mem makes a face
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga quietly keeps her face pressed downward, waiting
<DeathStar> <Voice> Dock and make your report.
<DeathStar> 6* The transmission ends
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Interesting. Why dock and make your report on this station
<Aqua> James> Well.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Mrr. I have no idea.

<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart flies inside the hanger finally, landing beside other Illium spacecraft, types of sleek gray and black and blue colors they never seen before, all looking powerful and trim

<Seraphna> Wolf> "Illium Commander with his / her fabulous turncoat agents on the Earth style vessel to try and seek out the terrorists?"
