<Kaelan> * Anyata's pink armor appears on her as well, looking so very much like a female reploid from Command Mission.
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax is wearing a traditional tact suit, his robotic arms gleamign slightly in the sun, he adjusts his rifle.
<DeathStar> <Atay> What now?!
<Kaelan> Anyata> "The jungle is likely filled with defenses, and Phirax won't be able to keep up with us, so we'll have to approach carefully."
<Xanatos> <Phirax> Go at your pace if you'd like. I will catch up.
<DeathStar> <Atay> But--but you're the leader.
<Kaelan> Anyata> "Sorry, but you're technically a civilian, I can't go ahead without you." *she starts for the woods, keeping an eye out for defenses*
<Xanatos> <Phirax> It would seem that I am a civilian. 6He tells Atay and begins to walk along.
<DeathStar> <Atay> But you're Special Unit and they are running this op
<Kaelan> Anyata> "He is."
<Xanatos> <Phirax> I am not a civilian, Anyata simply doesn't know what she's speaking of. Going into this jungle at your speeds would be dangerous. You would have little room to manuever. Use that as your logic for staying with me, instead of poking fun at my 'civilian' speeds. 6He advances on into the forest, eyes shifting about in search of enemies.
<Kaelan> * ANyata sniffs a little in response, face hidden by her visor.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay looks about; there appears to be no enemies an the trees have platforms, where they have to jump up to grab it and pul lthemselves up; the lay out is really strange
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax glances to her slightly, amused at the sniff it would seem. He shifts to climb up onto the platform.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay wall jumps and leaps to it
<Kaelan> * Anyata uses her Prince of Persia abilities, wall jumping up as well.
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax climbs like a normal ass negro.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay waits as Phirax pulls himself up
<Xanatos> <Phirax> Apologies. 6He says simply as he gets ready to begin moving again.
<Kaelan> Anyata> *just quietly, and quite pointedly watches him as they have to wait for him*
<DeathStar> 6* As they move, there's a gap they have to jump to the next platform. A tiger mechaloid lurks, waiting to hit them once they land
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax lifts up his rifle and aims to fire at the tiger thing,
<Kaelan> * ANyata frowns. "Luckily we brought a ranged specialist."
<DeathStar> 6* Atay nods
<DeathStar> 6* Atay waits for him to fire
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax fires! Whoops.
<DeathStar> 6* The tiger is hit and is pissed; it leaps for their platform
<Kaelan> * Anyata shifts in front of them and slashes with her blades in an X-Strike attack as it comes near.
<Xanatos> <Phirax> Looks like they're quite resilient.
<DeathStar> 6* The tiger, weakened from the shot, explodes. A bee flies down and fires tiny hornets at them
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax shifts, attempting to get out of the way and return fire at the bee.
<Kaelan> * Anyata leaps with a spin strike, hoping to hit the smaller ones as she goes for the big one.
<DeathStar> 6* Phirax shoots the big one and Anya takes out the little ones. Atay claps
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax glances at the distance of the gap to make sure he can cross it.
<Kaelan> * Anyata dash-jumps over.
<DeathStar> * Atay dash jumps as wello
<DeathStar> 6* She then holds out her hands
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax slides the rifle to his back and shifts to jump, hands extended out to catch Atay's.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay catches him and pulls him up
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax nods his thanks to Atay.
<Kaelan> * Anyata nods. "Good shooting before."
<DeathStar> 6* ATay smiles, then looks up at the dirt wall they have to climb up to leap to a platform overhead
<Xanatos> <Phirax> Thanks. 6He eyes the wall. This layout is quite annoying.
<Kaelan> Anyata> "This certainly was made to inconvenience humans."
<DeathStar> <Atay> How did the old bots do this?
<Xanatos> <Phirax> Very carefully perhaps. 6He attempts to start climbing.
<Kaelan> * Anyata peers upwards. "Our predessors used wall climbing and jumping." * Anyata starts making her way up.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay does so, then leans over for him to grab her hands when he gets high enough to jump off
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax shifts to leap and reach out to catch onto her hands again.
<Kaelan> * Anyata watches, ready to help.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay pulls him up, then smiles; they have to leap to another platform, then climb a ladder
<DeathStar> 6* Atay picks Phirax up and jumps with him, then sets him down, climbing up
<Kaelan> * Anyata climbs up after her.
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax blinks a few times but moves along after them.
<DeathStar> * As they reach the next area, five bees fly at them
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax pulls his rifle up and begins to fire at them.
<Kaelan> * Anyata pulls out her blaster, adding to the fire.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay holds her sabers ready; the bees are shot down and a tiger leaps for Phirax
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax jerks and stumbles, attempting to avoid it.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay slashes it's tail off; it slashes her
<Kaelan> * Anyata shifts and slices at the tiger horizontally while it slashes at Atay.
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax rubs his neck slightly. Thanks. Are you alright? 6He asks Atay.
<DeathStar> 6* The tiger is cut in half and explodes, dropping a pellet
<DeathStar> <Atay> Y-Yes--o-owie--
<Kaelan> Anyata> "Mmm, that should heal you."
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax glances at it and scans. Same healing cube?
<DeathStar> 6* Atay eyes it, then picks it up, chewing it. She then smiles
<DeathStar> 6* Atay then prances ahead through the bushes
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax blinks at that then moves after her.
<DeathStar> 6* Four tigers wait, their tails firing lasers
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax attempts to tackle her aisde and otu of the way.
<Kaelan> * Anyata glares and blurs with speed at the tigers, using trees or whatever is near to leap around and avoid shots, slashing as she gets close to one.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay squeaks but is saved; Anyata then tears apart the four tigers
<Kaelan> * Anayta looks back after destroying the last one, she then peers around for more dangers.
<DeathStar> 6* She'd see a boss door
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax stands and peers around. We seem to be there.
<DeathStar> <Atay> So soon?
<Kaelan> Anyata> "Some protective areas were smaller but annoying in this encounter."
<Xanatos> <Phirax> It could just be a halfway point. 6he moves for the door.
<Kaelan> Anyata> "Mini-Boss?" *she sighs and heads through*

<Kaelan> Anyata> "...What are you supposed to be?"
<DeathStar> <Byte> I am Byte. I am here to kill you and extract your DNA
<Xanatos> <Phirax> We have something else in mind. 6He lifts up his rifle and begins to fire.
<Xanatos> NRP: at byte.
<DeathStar> 6* The shots bounce off as he approaches
<Kaelan> * Anyata sighs and clashes her blades together, causing energy sparks. "...Mmm, we need to overcome his armor."
<DeathStar> 6* Byte aims his hand and it flies off toward them
<Xanatos> <Phirax> Tch. 6He backs up slightly, seeing he's near the wall looks to strafe around.
<Kaelan> Anyata> "Atay, dodge!" *she leaps up to get over the hand*
<DeathStar> 6* The wall flies toward the wal. Atay leaps over it and rushes in
<DeathStar> *hand flies toward the wall
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax begins to fire for Byte, making sure to avoid hitting either of the two.
<DeathStar> 6* The hand hits the wall, then begins to spin, sending shockwaves out toward PHirax
<Kaelan> Anyata> "Phirax, use explosives or plasma based weaponry if you have it!" *she kicks up against a wall and dash-jumps, as she gets close, she unleashes her Zero-Point Strike. "GATTAOUSU ZERO-BLADE!"
<DeathStar> 6 *Atay slashes, then shouts a cooler name that does more damage, slashing into it's gut and spilling worms
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax sprints away from the shockwave, hoping it'll dissapate.
<Kaelan> * Anyata spin-slashes after her Zero-Point Strike to propel herself back.
<DeathStar> 6* It odes and the hand rips off the wall, chasing Phirax
<DeathStar> 6* Atay does the same as Byte flies toward the wall; he's so big he fills the room's height, giving little room to go over or around him
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax blinks and dives to slide under bite, hoping his hand'll smack into him.
<Kaelan> * Anyata having a similar idea, ups her Speed and dives, sliding to go under Byte.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay goes over, being more awesome, and slashesdown his back, making him hit the walll the hand reattachs it instead of smacking
<DeathStar> 6* they are now on the side of the exit door; Byte's wound are healing
<Xanatos> <Phirax> Should we leave or keep fighting?
<Kaelan> Anyata> "Leave."
<DeathStar> <Atay> Estimate only 20% of victory
<DeathStar> 6* Atay runs through the door to leave
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax nods and moves after them.
<Kaelan> * Anyata runs through the door as well.
<DeathStar> 6* As they step through they are back in the jungle; a giant worm busts out of the wall behind them to chase them
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax tchs and glances over his shoudler, beginning to run away from the worm.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay grabs Phirax and runs with him, leaping down a pit that's safe and runs down a new hallway
<Kaelan> * Anyata runs as well, keeping pace with Atay.
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax blinks a few times, aiming with his rifle to fire at any attackers while they run.
<DeathStar> 6* Phirax manages to hit bees an tigets as they reach another boss door eventually; this time with a hallway to another one
<Xanatos> <Phirax. I believe this might be is. Are you ready?
<Kaelan> * Anyata nods.
<DeathStar> <Atay> Y-Yes.
<DeathStar> <Atay> I hear he grows powerful in sunlgiht
<Kaelan> Anyata> "Darkness will prevent him from using his blades."
<Xanatos> <Phirax> Hm. Okay. 6He nods to them and begins to move in.
<DeathStar> 6* as they enter, sunlight pours down from the center of the room, and there's a large tree. The room looks empty
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax peers around, looking for a way to block out that light.
<Kaelan> Anyata> "A... tree?"
<Kaelan> Anyata> "Wait... wasn't there some concern on an earlier mission about the Mavericks looking for a tree of some sort?"
<Xanatos> <Phirax> A tree?
<DeathStar> 6* Tiger leaps out of the tree, super fast like Anyata, and slashing at her face
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax moves for the tree, trusting Anyata to handle it. He attempts to at least shoot a branch so it falls in way of the sunlight.
<Kaelan> * Anyata leaps back, bringing her own blade up to parry, using her Speed. She grumbles as her visor gets damaged.
<DeathStar> 6* The tiger whirls on Phirax, aiming it's tail and firing spinning ray blades
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax blinks and attempts to jump on the tree before springing off to soar over the blades.
<DeathStar> 6* the tiger leaps at Phirax, but is intercepted by Atay; they trade blows rapidly, until Atay falls over
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax shifts to fire again, attempting to get that sunlight blotted out.
<Kaelan> * Anyata uses her full speed to charge at Tiger's back, using her SPecial Attack as she gets close. "GATTOUSU!"
<DeathStar> 6* The sunlight fades a bit and the Tiger growls in anger, then is hit and is damaged
<Kaelan> * Anyata Spin Slashes and uses it to shift back.
<Xanatos> 6* Phirax keeps it up, while Anyata keeps it busy.
<DeathStar> 6* The tiger is hit and knocked back by the spin shaft. Atay gets up and joins, keeping it in a holding pattern of doom, until it finally explodes, dropping a DNA chip
<Kaelan> * Anyata lands and picks it up.
<Xanatos> <Phirax> Excellent work, you two.
<Kaelan> * Anyata nods, looking it over. "This may be useful to me."
<DeathStar> <Ire> you ready to teleport out?
<Xanatos> <Phirax> We have the DNA chip.
<Kaelan> Anyata> "Roger. I've got it."
<DeathStar> 6* Ire ports them out; mission over!

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl appears outside the power plant in no armor
<Kaelan> * Seraphna appears beside her, wearing a tactical suit, she sighs and pulls out a gun, fixing an HMD over her eye. "Alright now..."
<Xanatos> 6* Cole begins to advance, peering about for enemies or sentries.
<Kaelan> * Seraphna starts a scan for defenses.
<DeathStar> 6* The power plant's high energy blocks all scans
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Psch, looks like I'm depending on your brawn, you two."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> You mean my brawn
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Well... yes, and his ability to take hits."
<Xanatos> <Cole> I have a glass jaw. 6He trots along, humming a tune.
<DeathStar> 6* As they approach, mechaloids wityh laser aims and fire piercing beams
<Kaelan> * Seraphna ducks behind Cole and starts firing at them.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl activates a whip like weapon and leaps forward, spinning and attacking
<Xanatos> 6* Cole shifts himself to try and avoid a hit, one hand pulling Sera out of the way if she doesn't move with him, he pulls up a minigun on his other arm and begins firing for mechaloids not in cheryl's path.
<Kaelan> * Seraphna moves with Cole, using him as her shield. She fires a laser blaster, aiming to assist with her sister's kills.
<DeathStar> 6* the mechaloids take no damage, the beam constant in one spot, then it finally stops shooting. Cheryl whips it then, since her attacks did nothing, too, and destroys one; they begin to reaim
<Xanatos> <Cole> Gotta hit them when they're not firing? The hell? 6He tries to get one before they reaim.
<Kaelan> * Seraphna fires at one before they reaim too.
<DeathStar> 6* They destroy the three sentries. Cheryl hmphs and walks inside
<Kaelan> * Seraphna heads after Cheryl.
<Xanatos> <Cole> That seems assbackwards. Or is it just me? 6He walks along.
<DeathStar> < Cheryl> It's old mechaloids; they did things halfassed then
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl peers about and sees a wall in front of them, then looks further up and sees the hallway continues after cimbing the wall up a few paces
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "I feel ashamed for some reason."
<Xanatos> <Cole> Must not want anyone in, else they'd be a ladder here. 6He shifts to begin climbing it.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl hmphs and pounds her weapons into the wall to climb up
<Kaelan> * Seraphna poofs into a little dragon and flaps up with them.
<DeathStar> 6* Once thee, two more sentries fire steady beams, aimed perfectly to hit them when they reach the top. Cheryl curses and falls off
<Xanatos> 6* Cole makes a sound and falls down, trying to grasp the edge so he doesn't plummet all the way to the bottom.
<Kaelan> * Seraphna poofs to a larger size, grabbing to catch Cheryl and spreading her wings when they drop below again.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl leaps off Sera like she were a ramp, hang times it a moment so the beams shut off, and hits one of the two
<Kaelan> * Seraphna flaps up and opens her maw, blasting out a Wind Blast from her mouth at the other.
<DeathStar> 6* The other is destroyed, dropping strange energy cubes
<Xanatos> 6* Cole pulls himself up and dusts himself off. Thank'ya ladies.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl scowls, the pokes the cube
<Kaelan> * Seraphna lands and returns to "human" form. She peers at the cubes. "Interesting."
<Xanatos> <Cole> What're those?
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "They look like the energy drops that X and Zero found on their reconassiance missions... for that matter, Mega Man as well."
<DeathStar> <Cehryl> What do they do?
<Xanatos> <Cole> Yeah I have no idea what you're talking about.
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "If they're not a trap, they restore energy and repair damage."
<Kaelan> * Seraphna tries analyzing one.
<DeathStar> 6* It appears eating it restores health
<Xanatos> <Cole> Repair damage? Nice.
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Seems to be what I thought it was. Try it Cole."
<Xanatos> 6* Cole punches himself to cause some 'damage' then eats one.
<DeathStar> 6* His HP is filled
<Xanatos> <Cole> Nifty. Let's G. O. Gooo. 6He begins to move again.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl eyes him and walks along; they would notice an elevator with no juice, with a lightning symbol, that goes down, but htey can also continue forward
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Good to know." *she follows the walking shield, she pauses to look at it* "If we wen his the elevator with lightning, it will work."
<Xanatos> <Cole> Color me electrified. 6He points. Where do I shoot?
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl popints at the symbol
<Xanatos> 6* Cole makes sure everyone is on the elevator and shoots electric for the symbol.
<DeathStar> 6* it begins to go downward and it stops in front of a strange teleporter
<Xanatos> 6* Cole tilts his head then places his index finger on his nose.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Hrn, this seems suspiciously evil
<Xanatos> <Cole> Well I already called not it.
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "If it goes down too far, you can teleport back to us Cole."
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Or we could all go down, usually these things lead to power ups."
<Xanatos> <Cole> Power ups? Like. A sweet gun?
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Maybe, sometimes health extensions, armor, and other things. X found many of Dr. Light's capsules that way too."
<Xanatos> <Cole> Sweet! 6He hops on.
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "I often wonder why my family line continued on but his faded."
<Kaelan> * Seraphna looks to Cheryl. "Shall we join him?"
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl nods and gets on
<Kaelan> * Seraphna hops on as well.
<DeathStar> 6* they are teleported to another location. One second
<DeathStar> 6* They appear in an old factory
<DeathStar> 6* The teleporter is gone
<Kaelan> * Seraphna raises a brow. "Hmm... one way only it seems."
<Xanatos> <Cole> Uh. You lied to me girl.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> That's what we get for listening to her
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "H-Hey!"
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl walks along the abandoned factory
<Kaelan> * Seraphna huffs and walks with her.

<Kaelan> * Seraphna frowns. "...Okay... we do need to get out of here."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl pauses as she climbs a ladder to explore meanwhile
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "This is Vile's Factory... I think. I forgot about that trap..."
<Xanatos> <Cole> Bumdabumdunununun. 6He mumbles as he walks along, peering around.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Vile's factory? What?
<Xanatos> <Cole> The guy that attacked the funeral?
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Yes, him.":
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "The teleporter was set up to lure X for a confrontation.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> How do you even know that?
<Xanatos> <Cole> I think she's making it up.
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "I studied hunter history when I was a brat on the station."
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Back when Deathstar grounded me for 7 missions."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> What else do you remember?
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "I remember that X won the fight using one of his special attacks... trying to remember which."
<Xanatos> <Cole> Suuuure hope it's something to do with electricity.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl >Great. 6* She pauses outside a Boss door
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Oh right! Neon TIger's and Crush Crawfishes powers."
<Xanatos> <Cole> ...Well we're boned.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Is there no other way out?
<Xanatos> <Cole> Let's teleport out of here.
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Agreed."

<Xanatos> <Cole> We COULD just go in there and kick his ass. I mean, 3 against 1.

<Xanatos> <Cole> Boom! Let's go! 6he shifts to move in.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl steps in, posing backwards as she's slid through
<Xanatos> 6* Cole fucks up his entrance and just looks odd.
<DeathStar> 6* They're now in a small room that's dark and emptyish
<Kaelan> * Seraphna heads after them like an annoyed Dr. Character
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl walks about the empty room, spoting another door on the other side. Vile's voice speaks. "Well, well, like bugs to a flame."
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Really?"
<Xanatos> <Cole> Bugs like flames? 6He shakes his head slightly, moving for the door.
<DeathStar> 6* Alarms go off and a countdown is heard. <Vile> No time to play with your noobs, so I'll just detonate this place like old times.
<DeathStar> 6* 1 minute is heard
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "We gotta go."
<Xanatos> <Cole> Wait. What the fuck? Go where?!
<Kaelan> * Seraphna moves for the opposite door.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl dashes through the other door
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "Only other way we have!"
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl then eyes a giant wall climb with blocks falling from the exploding factory.
<DeathStar> 6* She begins to climb up
<Xanatos> <Cole> Oh goddamnit. This is dumb! 6He shifts to start climbing after her.
<Kaelan> * Seraphna poofs into a tiny dragon and hitches a ride, she positions herself to use Wind Blasts to keep Cheryl safe.
<Xanatos> <Cole> Wish I could double jump or something!
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl leaps from wall side to wall side,m then pauses as Seraphna does that and sticks to one side; as they reach the top she dashes down a hallway as the place shakes; 40 seconds remaining. She stops at an elevator in the way needing electricity, or to try to slide down the wall beside it instead of using it
<Xanatos> 6* Cole runs along after, sliding along. Wonder if it's fast enough. 6He hits it with electricity.
<DeathStar> 6* It begins to ride down and the ceiling can't hurt them now
<Kaelan> Seraphna> "We'll make it fast enough if not."
<Xanatos> <Cole> We will?
<DeathStar> 6* They reach the bottom with the final hallway; 15 seconds remain and a teleporter is at the far end
<Kaelan> * Seraphna taps into the Wind Rune and summons a Gust to blast all three of them to the teleporter.
<Xanatos> 6* Cole jerks and flails. Th-Fuuuu!
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl makes a curse and flails, slamming into it
