01<@DeathStar> <Katrina> Well, just numbers mostly, and log entries about what we've seen. To summarize, they're in this area. 6* She points at the terrain map, highlighting some areas. "And there's about 100 Mavericks, as well as the German company's headquarters which might have a few hundred people in it. They've been cutting down trees here with their equipment.

01<@DeathStar> <Blue> You--- 6* She eyes Cole, frowning more at having her insults interrupted and mumbles she had a good response to that last line by Null. She turns to follow Cole off to the side. "Before you ask, no, I haven't been hurting Katirna."

01<@DeathStar> <Katrina> If I had to guess, they're looking for something, since they're cutting trees down and carrying them into this second building here. 6* She points at a spot

<Seraphna> * Elayne steps out and sighs a bit, scratching her ear some more as she thinks.
<Xanatos> 6* Cole rubs his neck, walking over with her.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Proto shifts to crawl into Null's cleaveage for a spot to ride, peering out and positioning it's tail to fire at enemies

01<@DeathStar> <Blue> ... 6* She eyes Elayne like she's a freak, then shakes her head, moving out with a wave of her hand to follow. Iceheart does so, while Katrina waits to take the rear

<Eluere> 6Null nods, then reaches out to grope Katrina's chest.

<Eluere> 6Null lets go, wiggling her fingers and eyeing her handsin curiousity, then sniffs, peering at Katrina before reaching back and grabs her butt.

01<@DeathStar> 6* Katrina jerks forward with another loud squeak. Blue turns back, annoyedly; a bear reploid leaps at Blue as her back is turned
<Seraphna> Elayne> "They are lifelike, Null, she's alive."
<Seraphna> * Elayne draws her gun and fires at the bear.
<Eluere> <Null> I said I do. Oh, hey, a bear.
<Xanatos> <Cole> Blue! 6He jerks to leap forward and pull her back.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The bear takes the shots easily, roaring. "I am Grizzly Roar!" 6* He swipes at where Blue was at before Cole moved her; Iceheart forms her ice shards, leaping at the bear and tackling it, stabbing at it's face with an insane sound.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Roar looks startled at first, taking massive damage to the face, before it claws Ice's back and sends her flying into a tree with super strength.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Katrina immediately grabs her sabre
<Eluere> <Null> Master!" 6She brings out her hands, switching to armor mode and brings out her beam saber in one hand and the revolver in the other.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "...Well that's Ice for you..." *she frowns and extends her staff as she takes a few more shots, aiming at the bear's damaged face*
<Xanatos> 6* Cole shifts in front of blue and ignites his katar, holding it up at the bear, motioning.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Blue eyes Cole's back, frowning at him being so overprotective. Roar turns on Elayne as it shoots for it's damaged face, doing damage now that it's exposed. It charges at her
<Seraphna> * Elayne tries to leap away to one side to get out of the line of it's charge, forgoing more shots for manuverability.
<Eluere> <Null> Hmm..." 6She starts pouring energy into her revolver. 1"Katrina Mickey, maybe you should stay back." 6She starts to move in front of her.
<Xanatos> 6* Cole glances back then pauses. 1Er...sorry. 6He shifts forward and leaps up, trying to land on the bears back.
01<@DeathStar> <Katrina> Huh? I'm Katrina Mccormick.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The bear roars as Cole gets on it's back and it thrashes about, then begins to bang it's back against a tree
<Eluere> <Null> Yeah, but stay back. You're squishy.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Iceheart stands up, her clothes ripped comically to reveal more of her breasts and thighs, though just enough remains to cover her properly, like in the movies
<Xanatos> 6* Cole shifts around to try and get on it's side, stabbing at it with his katar.
<Seraphna> * Elayne halts her fleeing to aim at it's head again, firing at the bear's face while it's busy with Cole.
<Eluere> 6Null lifts her hand and aims for Grizzly's crotch as he starts trying to smash Cole and Elayne attacks, firing a Lv1 Charge shot.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The bear roars as Elayne shoots it's face and Cole stabs at it's sides with a katar. Then it grunts when it's crotch is hit and the fur is burnt away there
<Seraphna> * Elayne charges a shot, aiming for the most exposed section of the bear's face, then fires at it again.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The bear's head finally is blown off. It stands there, sparking from the various side stabs, then it begins to lumber at elayne, glowing
01<@DeathStar> 6* Katrina aims her datapad, then frowns. "It's overloading."
<Xanatos> 6* Cole extends his arm out, it shifts, wrapping in on itself to extend out into the gatling gun and he jumps back off the bear, firing the gatling gun at the bear.
<Seraphna> * Elayne acks and starts running away from it.
<Eluere> 6Null shoots it in the crotch again
<Xanatos> 6* Cole begins to back up too. 1This isn't going to be good.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The bear lumbers ater Cole now as he and Null shoot it, glowing more. It's body sparks more heavily with each shot
01<@DeathStar> 6* One of the shots from Cole's gun exposes the core inside
<Xanatos> <Cole> H-How do we stop it from overloading!?
<Seraphna> * Elayne frowns from a distance, "Shoot the core and stop it from overloading it's power!"
<Xanatos> <Cole> Is it just me or did that sound stupid? I mean, it could be me.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Or tear it out!"
<Eluere> 6Null shoots it in the core with a loud cap from her revolver.
<Eluere> <Null> Get behind me.
<Eluere> 6Null sets both her weapons in subspace and takes a step or two toward it, bringing her hands up, making a face.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The core is shot, then the bear explodes
01<@DeathStar> 6* The explosion is much less than what it would have been due to a full overload, and the shockwave is smaller that emits
06* Eluere holds out her hands and closes her eyes, focusing on the expelled energy.

<Xanatos> 6* Cole goes to walk behind Null but jerks at the explosion, covering his head.

01<@DeathStar> 6* Katrina and Blue step behind Null and Iceheart flips up onto a tree. The shockwave is small enough Null absorbs it
<Xanatos> <Cole> ...so shooting it really worked? The hell?
<Eluere> <Null> Sort of. This is kind of my area.
<Eluere> 6Null flexes her fingers, wincing and blows off her fingers, the tips red hot.
01<@DeathStar> <Katrina> The core was building up energy; shooting it and destroying it before it could only expended the energy built up
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Self detonation is an overloading of the power core and an explusion of energy, destroying the core stops the buildup..." *she recovers, having run away a bit, she was a bit off and stumbled back a little*

<Xanatos> <Cole> Huh, well that's...good...I think. 6He rubs behind his ear.
<Eluere> <Null> ...What they said.
<Eluere> <Null> Got it." 6She notes, storing the energy and shifts out of armor mode.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Blue dusts herself off. "I guess this weirdo is good for something."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "I was a combat medic for the Wraiths, I'm actually used to Reploids."
01<@DeathStar> <Katrina> Thank you, Null
<Xanatos> <Cole> I told you that she's kept around for some reason.
<Eluere> 6Null blinks at Katrina, looking surprised.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Iceheart jumps down. "Lets move now; that explosion will draw Mavericks to us." 6* She turns and runs into the forest line in the direction blue was going; Blue sighs and runs to take the lead
01<@DeathStar> 6* Katrina smiles at Null and moves to follow the others
<Seraphna> * Elayne nods and follows after them.
<Eluere> <Null> ... Huh. That's a new one." 6She jogs after Katrina.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Blue takes the lead from Iceheart and keeps them at a grueling pace for over 15 minutes before slowing and letting everyone recover from the run through the jungle terrain, which is hot, uneven, and dangerous. Katrina leans to sit on a fallen tree for a moment while Iceheart eyes the area paranoidly
<Eluere> 6Null stands near Katrina between here and Iceheart, crossing her arms.
<Xanatos> 6* Cole lets out a breath and falls over.
<Seraphna> * Elayne sits, panting.
01<@DeathStar> <Blue> You're exhausted? 6* She eyes Cole
<Xanatos> <Cole> Me? No. I just like being dramatic.

<Xanatos> 6* Cole jerks and hops up to his feet. 1See?

<Eluere> 6Null is bent over peering up when Katrina sets it back in place.

01<@DeathStar> 6* She doesn't seem to notice, peering at her datapad. "We're getting closer." <Blue> Yes. There's probably al ot of Mavericks in the area around us
<Seraphna> Elayne> "He rubs off on people."
01<@DeathStar> 6* As she says this, a movement is heard in the trees above. Iceheart peers up
<Eluere> <Null> I look lifelike, too.
<Xanatos> 6* Cole pauses and aims upward, squinting.
<Seraphna> * Elayne peers up.
01<@DeathStar> <Katrina> Lifelike? Of course you're lifelike - you're a person, too
01<@DeathStar> 6* KAtrina looks up slowly
01<@DeathStar> 6* Proto grrs at the trees. Suddenly a monkey reploid leaps off and lands on Cole's face, clawing into his shoulders and using his tail, which is electrified, to beat his face
<Eluere> <Null> Me? I'm less than reploid. Just a prototype.
<Xanatos> <Cole> AIEEE!!! 6He flails his hands and runs around, probably into a tree.
01<@DeathStar> <Katrina> nonsense, you're a person. ... Cole!
01<@DeathStar> 6* Katrina stares in horror and Blue jerks, quickly pulling out a staff that turns into an energy scythe
<Eluere> <Null> Hmm.. you think so?" 6She glances over, pulling her revolver out of suspace and blasts horizontally at the monkey

The CEO area is a tallish building that just barely keeps under the treeline, actually having trees on top of it to keep it hidden

01<@DeathStar> 6* Ice lets go of Null and steps forward, frowning, while Katrina studies to see if anyone is watching them

<Seraphna> * Elayne hops and glides into the back, shifting back, she reaches out and helps pull Kat up.
<Xanatos> 6* Cole hangs on to the side for a bit before pulling himself up, sitting cross-legged.

The bot truck stops and then the back lifts up, tilting and sliding the logs and team towards a large pit of spinning blades, used to tear the logs apart. The team has 5 seconds to leap off. Iceheart jerks and does so, as does Blue, both landing behind the pit and are unseen yet
