<DeathStar> 6* As part of her broadening of experiences, XX is in the Special Unit under Ire today. Their base is located in a mansion like place next door to President Wind's mansion, and the mansion has multiple areas for training and rooms to sleep in, and down below is private areas for each person to do as they wish - such as making gardens and other things. There's multiple tunnels as well to drive out to Mega City
<DeathStar> 6* Ire and Lilith walk with XX as he gives her a brief tour, showing her the command center room in the mansion part, as well as her room for while she's there. There are teleporters that go up to the Hunter Station and over to Wind's
<DeathStar> <Ire> We mostly handle unusual cases that are not big picture worthy for the planet's defense like the Hunters.
<Jackieness> <XX> "What sort of cases?"
<DeathStar> 6* Ire motions at Seraphna to name a few.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna smiles. "Mostly earthbound investigations, we do a lot of cases that don't fall under the Hunters, in other words, earthling non-reploid affairs."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Such as?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Incidents involving the Fifth Column mostly of late. They're a new Nazi group."
<DeathStar> 6* Ire checks something. "I need to do something; for the first part of this day, XX, you will be working under Seraphna and Lilith on anything that comes up. Even if it's something minor like a traffic incident. It'll be good experience for dealing with people."
<Jackieness> <XX> "I have crossed paths with them before..."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Alright boss." *she smiles, Elayne, her daughter, who has long red hair and seems to be a similar build Seraphna, steps up*
<Seraphna> SEraphna> "We've also dealt with serial killers, evil clowns, shapeshifting monsters, soul eaters, strange cults, zombies, vampires, there was that incident with the talking horse..."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Naturally."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "I think we've met before, XX." *she holds out a gloved hand*
<Jackieness> <XX> *takes Elayne's hand*
<Seraphna> * Elayne shakes gently. "Oooo... interesting aura. I can feel it through the gloves, that's unique."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "This is Elayne McCormick, my daughter, she's a practiced Psion."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Interesting?"
<Seraphna> Elayne> "It's very strong."
<Seraphna> * Seraphna plays with some of Elayne's hair, and checks her datapad. "Mmm. We have a call. Lilith, mind getting ready to go out? Just speak up if you want to come along."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Of course."
<Seraphna> * Seraphna waits a moment more for Lilith, then heads towards a conference room. Elayne follows her.
<Jackieness> <XX> *follows after them*
<Seraphna> * Seraphna sits and pulls up a map of old Berlin. "We got a call that some suspicious activity is going down in Berlin. A number of criminals have been turning up tied up and painted with a white paw mark." *she says, deadpanned* "The local authorities believe the vigilante is either alien or a reploid and want us to investigate."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Alien or a reploid?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Typical assumption with vigilantes these days. An alient with special talents and a reploid could easily handle groups of human criminals."
<Seraphna> Elayne> *hums innocently*
<Jackieness> <XX> "Why is there an assumption that it is an individual??"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Whoever it is left all the criminals alive, they claim a single masked individual attacked them."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "...Wearing a cape."
<Jackieness> <XX> "I see."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Let's at least check it out." *she sighs and puts away her datapad, getting up and moving for a hangar area in the base*
<Jackieness> <XX> *stands and follows Seraphna to the hangar*
<Seraphna> - SCENE SHIFT -
<Seraphna> * Seraphna, Elayne and XX arrive by shuttle in Berlin, greeted by a man in his mid 30s, wearing a classic inspector's duster and glasses.
<Seraphna> Inspector> "Special unit are you?"
<Seraphna> * Seraphna nods and Elayne peers at the inspector.
<Seraphna> Inspector> "Glad to meet you, would you like to begin carrying thigns out on your own or interview one of the captured criminals?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "What do you think, XX?"
<Jackieness> <XX> "Start with the criminal. Take the memory from their mind."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Mmm, alright."
<Seraphna> * Seraphna nods to the inspector and he leads them into the station, soon putting them in a room with an overweight gray haired man.
<Seraphna> Man> "I'm not tellin these whores nothin."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Do it."
<Seraphna> * Elayne pulls off her glove, Seraphna walks over and slams the man's head into the table, he struggles, surprised at the small woman's strength. Elayne touches his head and wrinkles her nose in disgust.
<Seraphna> * Elayne pulls back and sighs. "He saw a figure in a white tactical suit and white mask, wearing a red cloak. It new some sort of energy attack."
<Seraphna> * Knew
<Jackieness> <XX> "Now we are better equipped to deal with it. Seraphna, if you had the memory, could you identify the energy and scan for it?"
<Seraphna> * Seraphna taps on her datapad quietly. "No, but I can profile the beam type, it was some form os spirit energy, we're dealing with an alien.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Well, let's go looking about town shall we?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I do need to catch up on my shopping."
<Seraphna> * Seraphna moves to step out.
<Jackieness> <XX> "We are not here to shop." *steps out as well*
<Seraphna> * Seraphna purrs and giggles. "Don't take things too seriously, you'll find yourself stressed out."
<Jackieness> <XX> "I relieve stress by busting head."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> Mmm, not always an option in civilan work."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Don't underestimate Momma, she was President of the Alliance once."
<Jackieness> <XX> "I am who I am."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Good attitude to take." *she smiles and leads them out onto the cobbled streets, she walks along towards the shopping district*
<Jackieness> <XX> "How will we track down this vigilante?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "When searching for a crime fighter, look for crime."
<Seraphna> * Elayne peers around, seeming distant, she points at a jewelry store. Seraphna nods and moves inside.
<Jackieness> <XX> *follows them*
<Seraphna> * Seraphna steps in and looks around at the jewelry, after talking with a sales agent and flashing a card, the agent seems to give her his full attention, looking eager to make a sale.
<Seraphna> * Elayne meanwhile peers around quietly by XX.
<Jackieness> <XX> "...what is her plan here?"
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Shopping. Our husband is rich."
<Seraphna> * Some men outside glance at all the jewelry being taken out.
<Jackieness> <XX> "I see... bait..."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Good eye."
<Seraphna> * The men pull up scarves over their mouths and begin to move in.
<Seraphna> Elayne> <Try not to fight them, we need to get 'saved'.>
<Jackieness> <XX> "...and the flies come to the honey."
<Seraphna> * The men walk in and raise up guns.
<Seraphna> Leader> "Alright, hands up ladies, gentleman, this is a stick up!"
<Seraphna> * Seraphna gasps and holds up her hands, acting frightened.
<Seraphna> * Elayne puts up her hands.
<Jackieness> <XX> "...you won't get away with this." *raises her hands*
<Seraphna> * They begin to pack jewels into bags when a knife streaks in, shattering a window and hits the security camera, and a short, tactical suited man in a white mask with wild blonde hair jumps in, kicking two men down and catching a third's gun in his hand, holding the safety.
<Seraphna> * The white figure then blasts one man down with a silver energy blast, kicking two other men down quickly. XX would notice his body size is that of a younger boy.
<Jackieness> <XX> "He appears to be a child."
<Seraphna> * He soon takes them all down, starting to tie them up, he bows to the girls, and for some reason, XX would suddenly feel deeply aroused and hot, Seraphna and Elayne seem to be similarly affected. "You ladies okay?"
<Jackieness> <XX> "...y...yes..."
<Seraphna> * Elayne flusters. Then swipes her hand then men and the sales rep falling unconcious. "...LUCAS MCCORMICK YOU CUT THAT OUT!"
<Seraphna> * The boy looks freaked even under the mask and starts backing away. "I-I don't know any Lucas."
<Jackieness> <XX> *teleports behind 'Lucas'* "Leaving so soon?"
<Seraphna> * Lucas flails and flips away from her, landing... on the cieling, he stands defensively. "Now ladies, you know the vigilante has to get away."
<Seraphna> *ceiling, damnit
<Jackieness> <XX> "He shares your surname. Deal with him." *looks at seraphna and Elayne*
<Seraphna> * Seraphna growls and starts yelling something in a strange language. Lucas floats down and looks ashamed, the girls take him in arms, marching him back to the shuttle, Sera calls in the robbery and capture and then takes the three home with her.
<DeathStar> (Ready for the scene shift back?)
<Seraphna> (Sure)
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> 6* Back at the base, they find Ire in uniform glancing down at a folder. He peers up, glancing at XX. "Debrief me."
<Seraphna> * Seraphna sits cross legged nearby. Elayne sits at the table, sighing a bit. Seraphna had sent Lucas on a teleporter home after tanning his hide.
<Jackieness> <XX> "We went in puruit of a vilgilante, the White Paw. He was Lucas McCormick, who has since been grounded."
<DeathStar> <Ire> And what is your opinion that led him to become a vigiliante?
<Seraphna> * Elayne murmurs something along the lines of "horney".
<Mem> 6Lilith stands tall beside Ire, protective.
<Jackieness> <XX> "In my opinion, he is suffering a manner of inferiority complex and was attempting to cast himself as the hero in his own little drama especially building himself up for the opposite gender."
<Seraphna> * Seraphna lets out a snicker.
<DeathStar> <Ire> Good. There is also one other aspect to consider; his father is a famous hero. Even if they aren't blood related, kids do things to surpass and meet their father figure's expectations
<DeathStar> 6* Ire rises, holding the folder close. "To the van." 6* He walks out of the room and along the hallway
<Jackieness> <XX> *follows after Ire*
<DeathStar> 6* Leading them outside, he gets into the driver's seat of a sleek Iremobile
<Seraphna> * Seraphna and Elayne follow them out Seraphna hops into the passenger side.
<Seraphna> * Elayne gets in the back.
<DeathStar> 6* As Ire drives once they're all in, his voice is monotoned yet with an edge, a grissily like Batman voice. "The police have given us a case of a serial killer. He just had his third victim."
<Mem> <Lilith> Deplorable.
<Jackieness> <XX> *listens*
<Seraphna> * Elayne and Seraphna tense up.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "...MO?"
<DeathStar> <Ire> There's a reason John isn't here today and that's because the victims are similiar to that of of his dead daughter. Within a few years, looks, gender. Each were living on their own and were students with part time jobs. All different jobs but all went to the same college.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna's eyes look cold.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Is someone sending a message then?"
<DeathStar> <Ire> They were all loners so no one reported them missing and no one noticed they were dead until the smell hit, which meant the bodies were in bad shape. They were found raped with what appeared to be some sort of wooden object, and parts of them systematically cut up.
<DeathStar> <Ire> It is guessed they were tortured over 48 hours before they finally died. This is the first real break in that the body was found rather quickly, by chance, because the girl had a meeting with another student for a project.
<Seraphna> * Elayne rubs her hand slowly. "Anything else...?"
<DeathStar> <Ire> That's for us to find
<DeathStar> 6* He drives into the city, tossing back the folder to XX since she's between the other two. Inside are pictures of the girls' bodies - not a pretty sight
<DeathStar> <Ire> No DNA samples were left behind of the killer
<Jackieness> <XX> *picks up the folder* "Hmmm."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "He's usually at least a little sloppy... maybe us almost getting him scared him."
<DeathStar> 6* The girls are seen tied up in a hanging position, but there's not enough blood on the floor to match the blood loss that should have occurred
<DeathStar> <Ire> Or it's not him. Elayne, explain to XX who you believe it is.
<Jackieness> <XX> "They were either moved or drained."
<DeathStar> 6* Ire nods approvingly to XX
<Seraphna> Elayne> "He's a serial killer, loves to use hallucinagins, tricks and illusions and play with his food, he's been known to also wear the faces of other people. Ghoul."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "We failed to catch him in time last time... he killed my daughter in law, Michiru, and had me strapped to a chair, cutting my fingers off."
<DeathStar> 6* Ire pulls up to a small little apartment building with three other rooms besides their victim's.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna gets out, sniffing gently, her eyes glemaing unnaturally. Elayne gets out as well.
<Jackieness> <XX> *steps out as well*
<DeathStar> 6* Ire walks up to the top floor and the left door, opening it iwth his master key; the smell hits instantly and police tape can be seen. He steps through it
<Seraphna> * Seraphna and Elayne, being Lunarian, especially wince.
<Jackieness> <XX> *remains expressionless*
<Seraphna> * Seraphna steps through and scans teh area, Elayne stands still, feeling out for whatever she can get, past and present.
<DeathStar> 6* Ire walks in; the area around them is neat and orderly, with lots of school books and cooking books, pictures of family that looks to be across the planet - likely in rural areas - though they seem loving. A lot of posters of cute animals and girly stuff on the couch. Your typical girl place for a sensitive girl
<Mem> 6Lilith raises an eyebrow, looking unsettled.
<DeathStar> 6* One plushe is missing it's head - it seems to be a cat plushie or was
<DeathStar> 6* Ire walks toward the bedroom where the body is still hanging. He waves the officer in there out and the young man gratefully retreats.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna looks over the plushie. "Odd..."
<Jackieness> <XX> "The killer dislikes cats."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "The victims... were they all human?"
<DeathStar> 6* The young woman's body, not even in her early 20s really, or just about, hangs there, flesh decaying a bit - what's left of it. She's naked and signs of sexual abuse are obvious.
<DeathStar> <Ire> So far.
<Seraphna> * Elayne takes off her glove, she reaches down and gently touches the body, trying to see into it's past, to see what happened to her more clearly.
<Mem> <Lilith> What kind of monster...?
<Jackieness> <XX> "We will find out."
<DeathStar> 6* All Elayne would see and feel is terrible pain and terror and fear and delicious fun from the killer
<Seraphna> * Elayne stumbles back and shakes. "M-Monster..."
<DeathStar> 6* Ire looks around; the bed room is your typical girl room - or what's left of it. the pink mattresses and pillows and cute things are covered in blood and ruffled up
<Jackieness> <XX> *walks forward and lifts up one of the girl's hands and examines the fingers*
<DeathStar> <Ire> The police didn't find anything on the body. 6* As she examines the fingers, she'd find them removed
<Seraphna> * Elayne frowns. "It has to be him."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Or a really dedicated copycat."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "I felt his pleasure, the sick fuck does this for enjoyment."
<Jackieness> <XX> "You said he was sloppy? PErhaps he was not sloppy. Perhaps he is giving you a trail of bread crumbs."
<DeathStar> <Ire> Ghoul is a genius; never understimate him
<DeathStar> <Ire> He once let himself get caught so he could do an interview with a member of my team and drive them insane
<Seraphna> Elayne> "He also lead us to that orphange with the full intent of capturing us. He chose me to torture in particular... probably because of what I am."
<Mem> <Lilith> You feel emotions..?" 6She eyes Elayne.
<Seraphna> * Elayne looks over. "Yes... I was able to feel her fear, terror and pain and his pleasure."
<Jackieness> <XX> "What is the pattern?"
<DeathStar> <Ire> He reinvents himself; so it makes it hard to discern one
<Jackieness> <XX> "Then what is his pattern now? He has acted multiple times in this current drama."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Then this might have been a calling card. To let us know he's active again."
<DeathStar> <Ire> Look around the room; dressers, drawers.
<DeathStar> 6* He motions at a dresser with drawers and the closet, at the bed
<DeathStar> <Ire> See if he left anything on purpose
<Seraphna> * Elayne starts to look around, rifling through things with telekenetics, wary of traps.
<DeathStar> 6* Ire pauses, eyeing as his datapad beeps and he eyes it, cursing
<Seraphna> * Seraphna looks over. "What?"
<DeathStar> <Ire> A moment. 6 *He steps out, no doubt to kick some ass.
<DeathStar> 6* What does Elayne rifle through first?
<Seraphna> * Seraphna frowns. Elayne rifles through the dresser first.
<Jackieness> <XX> "And he may be setting breadcrumbs for you to find. He wants to draw you in."
<DeathStar> 6* She'd find the underwear is dangerously low, but also there is a paper amongst what remains, with something printed on it
<Seraphna> * Elayne floats it up to read.
<DeathStar> 6* It's an advertisement for a big Halloween bash in July for college students that are staying during summer semester, since most aren't there. Everyone is to dress up as their favorite slasher villain and the best costume wins a prize of something special
<Jackieness> <XX> "A Halloween bash in July?"
<DeathStar> 6* Lilith's sensitive nose would detect something that even Elayne and Sera's can't - hidden inside a plushie who's head was sowed back on
<Mem> <Lilith> ..." 6She walks over, picking it up, frowning.
<Seraphna> * Elayen slowly facepalms.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Perfect, a bash where a serial killer can feel at home. I have a feeling we'll be attending."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I have that sexy nurse costume I could alter."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "The one you wore when Johnny got sick?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Mmhmm..."
<DeathStar> 6* The plushie belongs to a cat as well, the head on crooked so it looks demented
<Mem> 6Lilith plucks the head and rips it off unceremoniously.
<Seraphna> * Elayne peers over.

<Seraphna> * Seraphna eyes the ring, taking a picture and cross checking it on the holonet.
<DeathStar> 6* Ire steps back in. "Well, the news ran a story about this - people are afraid to be alone and are encouraged to go to gatherings where a lot of other people will be
<DeathStar> 6* The HoloNet comes up with no matches - the ring seems to be made from ltieral bone too
<DeathStar> 6* Ire eyes the halloween party taking place in two days
<DeathStar> <Ire> ...
<Seraphna> Elayne> "I think he planned this too."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "That ring is made from real bone..."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Possibly from a prior victim."
<DeathStar> <Ire> A shame none of us match Michiru's description, though I know if we brought one person there, Ghoul would likely drop everything to get her
<DeathStar> <Ire> Since he failed to kill her before somehow
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Who...?"
<DeathStar> <Ire> Katrina; she went missing that night too, assumed to have been in Ghoul's hands, then she showed up later in the rainforest. We could use Erevis or her I suppose.
<Jackieness> <XX> "What did Michiru look like?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Erevis might be the safer choice, Katrina was recently injured. And Erevis is the stronger Psion."
<Seraphna> * Elayne shows XX a picture of Michiru.
<Mem> <Lilith> What shall we do, master Ire?
<Seraphna> * The girl in the picture looks to be around 17 years old, with dark hair and the same brilliant green in her eyes that Elayne seems to have, she seems like she might be related to Elayne and Sera by blood.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Change my hair color, tape down my breasts, apply makeup artfully. Gothic lolita outfor the masquerade. I may be close enough."
<DeathStar> <Ire> All these students were in college; there isn't that many students left in the summer that would even come close to Michiru's age. We should stop there and look into the student registery
<DeathStar> 6* Ire nods to XX. "Then you and Erevis will be our bait unless Lilith can change her age."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> *gropes XX's breast* "We're gonna need a lot of tape dear."
<DeathStar> 6* He begins to head back to the van
<Jackieness> <XX> "Then use alot." *turns and follows after Ire*
<DeathStar> <Ire> I don't want John brought in on this; he'll be too hotheaded
<Mem> <Lilith> My age..? Yes, this is only a manifest.
<DeathStar> <Ire> Also there is one fact I left out.
<DeathStar> 6* Ire studies Lilith, then nods, indicating her to hold that thought. "Ghoul took Michiru's face. If he wears it, it may break John mentally."
<Seraphna> * Elayne and Seraphna eye him.
<DeathStar> <Ire> And this is assuming we are after Ghoul.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I'll keep him off the case. If I have to I'll drag him on a Hunter mission or something while Elayne works here."
<Jackieness> <XX> "As a reploid my appearance can be tweaked. I am also well-equipped to deal with physical threats."
<DeathStar> <Ire> So our bait will be Lilith and XX and Erevis; it will be up to Elayne to get them all to look and dress properly. I will enroll them into classes in case Ghoul double checks
<DeathStar> 6* Ire hands the co pthe fingers and gets into the van; once all are in he begins to drive
<DeathStar> <Ire> It will be up to you two if you want to do a day of classes to get a feel for the students. 6* He tells XX and Lilith
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Mmm... I'll get it arranged."
<Jackieness> <XX> "If he is watching the campus, we need to be visible."
<DeathStar> 6* Ire nods and drives to campus; it's a pleasant looking school and everything seems neat and orderly. Some students can be seen walking about in groups, talking in hushed tones. Stopping the van, Ire gets out and approaches the enrollment office building
<Mem> <Lilith> If that's your wish, Master...
<Seraphna> * Elayne and Sera get out with him, only Elayne visible though.
<DeathStar> <Ire> If you feel uncomfortable, Lilith, you do not have to
<DeathStar> 6* Ire glances at her. "To do your best, you should do what you feel capable or familiar enough with."
<Jackieness> <XX> "I shall remain out of sight as he does not need to see me as I am now."
<DeathStar> 6* Ire nods to XX and walks into the office; he sets the ball rolling and gets the student roster, moving back to the van
<DeathStar> 6* He holds it out. "Someone go through and find how many students might fit the description." 6* He begins to drive with one hand
<Seraphna> * Elayne moves to get the girls registered, then heads back as well.
<Seraphna> * SEraphna pops out of Elayne's cleavage and reforms in her seat, taking it and reading.
<DeathStar> <Ire> Make sure to have them retroactively registered and no sign of our tampering
<Jackieness> <XX> "And I will need to return to Hunter Station briefly to have them adjust my appeance."
<DeathStar> <Ire> Of course, there is a teleporter in the mansion; for those who are going to classes tomorrow, they will help you. Iceheart might assign someone to help you get adjusted
<DeathStar> 6* By the time they return, Seraphna has found 4 more possible matches
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Funny thing, the registration lady totally knew I needed the paperwork for a retroactive fix. And she won't remember entering the blank student entries for me to fill."
<Seraphna> * Seraphna shows Ire the four.
<DeathStar> 6* Ire memorizes their names to study their files later. He pulls up and parks, going inside and showing XX the teleporter. "Go with her, Elayne, to help them know what to set up."
<DeathStar> <Ire> Take Lilith with you as well to get her outfitted in the proper clothing as a student and for the party.
<Seraphna> * Elayne nods and moves to go with them. She gently picks up Lilith, holding a dog biscuit. "Dor, come join is."
<Jackieness> <XX> *moves to the teleporter*
<DeathStar> 6* Dor floats along obediently, wagging his tail at Lilith
<Mem> 6Lilith eyes Elayne, but chomps the biscuit indignantly.
<DeathStar> <Dor> You look pretty today.
<DeathStar> 6* Dor floats to the teleporter
<Seraphna> * ELayne carries Lilith to the teleporter.
