<DeathStar> 6* As they closer to the town, it looks both modern and advanced, with strange things all about. Sera may describe a few
<Eluere> <Null> Where... are we?
<Jackieness> <XX> "Another time. Perhaps another post-apocalyptic era."
<Kaelan> * A small number of tiny yellow humanoid looking droids pilot small hovercraft, robotic animals like Beat float about as well, there are all sorts zipping around. The buildings are all odd colors, as though put together from other things, some with stylized building blocks.
<Kaelan> * A few buildings are under construction, more tiny yellow bot-people in construction hats hard at work.
<Kaelan> * Seemingly outnumbered by them are more advanced reploids like the boy, with varying hairstyles, there is a complete lack of normal humans in the area.

<DeathStar> <Iceheart> That did seem a bit strange. The boy looked a bit like X.
<DeathStar> 6* She eyes him moving down the street toward a shop that sells parts.
<Seraphna> * Many look CLOSE to human, however something about them always seems to betray a robotic nature, from an odd hair color to plugs for adapters.
<DeathStar> 6* Chi from Chobits is led along by a boy, who is trying to find her on switch
<Jackieness> <XX> "This merits further exploration."
<DeathStar> <Ice> There is one thing that disturbs me from both futures - no sign of Wind
<Jackieness> <XX> "Why does this disturb you?"
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> He has the power to alter reality
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> If he's dead, what does that mean?
<DeathStar> 6* She watches boy buying parts when Sera's NPC shows up besidie them
<Jackieness> <XX> "Maybe he just got tired of this reality and left."
<DeathStar> < <Iceheart> Gods always leave, eh?
<Seraphna> * A girl with wild red hair, looking remarkably human with a tight black tank top, blue shorts, and large white shoes with pink stockings peers them over ucriously, her arms covered in strange sleeve like garments in a camouflage color. She eyes the boy a moment, then them.
<DeathStar> 6* The boy wanders off after talking o a few people, heading out of town but not toward his ship
<Seraphna> Girl> "Hey, you folks lost?"
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart peers at her, tensing
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Uh, a bit - where are we?
<Jackieness> <XX> "You have no idea..."
<Seraphna> Girl> "You're on Manda Island! Man you must really be lost."

<DeathStar> 6* she eyes XX as if to ask if that rings a bell
<Seraphna> Girl> "Yeah, this is Pokte Vil--- err, Tying-to-be-a-City."
<Jackieness> <XX> *stares at the girl flatly*
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> What's today's date? Full date.
<Seraphna> Girl> "8064."
<Jackieness> <XX> "That is an excessive year."
<Seraphna> Girl> "Full date? Umm... August 4th, 8064. Why? Took a long nap? Those can suck."
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart processes, then jerks, seeing the boy is nearly out of sight and moves to follow
<Jackieness> <XX> "We have somewhere to be." *starts after iceheart*
<Seraphna> Girl> "Huh! Oh no! Mega's getting away! Hey Mega, waaaait!" *she heads after him too*
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Mega?
<Jackieness> <XX> "Perhaps history is stuck in a loop and old things are new again."
<DeathStar> 6* She keeps walking but peers at the girl
<Seraphna> Girl> "Volnutt!!! You get back here! I'm coming tooo!"
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Volnutt?
<Jackieness> <XX> "I have no information on that."
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart pauses as they reach a set of ruins that he's aboutg to enter since it's unlocked, when Iceheart jerks, spotting Mavericks from their time there, led by a giant lizard reploid. She kneels. "Shit." 6* Mega moves in, not seeing them
<Seraphna> Girl> "Oh no... Reavers..." *she frowns and starts after Mega*
<Eluere> <Null> Should we take it out, master?
<Jackieness> <XX> *kneels down as well*
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> I want to know how the hell they got here, but yeah - if I'm right they're here to get tech, go back in time, and use it against us. We may be able to prevent waht happened if we can stop them there
<DeathStar> *here
<DeathStar> 6* The Mavericks follow Mega down, preventing the girl from rushing in
<Eluere> <Null> Good enough for me." 6She forms her armor and weapons.
<Seraphna> * She hides behind a rock, watching them, she holds her hands together and forms a very advanced looking gun in her hands.
<Jackieness> <XX> "We are comparative antiques."
<DeathStar> 6* The ruins suddenly seal shut on them and Iceheart hisses
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Is there another way in?
<Seraphna> * The girl frowns, looking over at them. "We need a Motherlode key."
<Eluere> <Null> A what?
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> A mother what?
<Jackieness> <XX> "I am unfamiliar with this key."
<Seraphna> * She huffs and walks over. "There might be a second entrance though. The Guardians were supposed to use them long ago and it's the only way in without a key."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Let us find this second entrance."
<Eluere> <Null> Yeah, lead the way, know-it-all.
<Seraphna> * She peers around and nods, moving towards where she thinks it is. "Be careful, there might be reavers. And my name is Aero."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> What are Reavers?
<DeathStar> <ICeheart> And if we fail, where is the key?
<Jackieness> <XX> "The ones you saw following your friend, we call them Mavericks."
<Seraphna> Aero> "Reavers are ancient bots who guard the ruins. They're very powerful."
<Seraphna> Aero> "The Keys are usually in the caves outside each village on the islands."
<Eluere> <Null> What's the point of putting them there if people know that?
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart nods - as they travel they find the second area is swarming with pirates and whatnot. She shakes her head. "Looks like the cave is our only option. I don't fancy fighting a large group of pirates."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Then lead us to this key cave."
<Seraphna> Aero> "It's only the Bonne family."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Bonne family?"
<Seraphna> * Aero shrugs and heads for the caves, as some loudmouthed girl on a giant hovercraft yells at yellow bots to do her bidding.
<DeathStar> <IcehearT> Bonne.... family
<DeathStar> 6* She follows, rubbing her head like she ahs a migrane, her long black hair with blue streaks swaying in the wind
<Seraphna> * Aero leads them to a large cave set in the rocky side of a miniature mountain.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Are there traps or guardians?"
<Eluere> <Null> Aren't there always?
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart nods grimly at Null
<Seraphna> Aero> "Mostly just puzzles and traps in the key caverns. Sometimes some reavers."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Lead the way then. 6* She seems dubious why this girl is helping but doesn't question it out loud. She eyes the cave
<Seraphna> * Aero huffs and heads into the cave. "I-I'm only helping you because Mega is in trouble."
<Jackieness> <XX> *enters the cave*
<Eluere> 6Null jerks at her reading Iceheart's mind and eyes her suspiciously, gesturing secretly to Iceheart a neckslitting motion if any funny business
<Seraphna> Aero> "Rude girl can take point with me."
<Eluere> 6Null deadpans at this omniscient girl
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart frowns and makes a note to keep her thoughts quiet. She motions at Null to do so
<Eluere> <Null> I don't like her, master.
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Why do you want to help Mega?
<Seraphna> Aero> "C-Cuz... cuz he's cool!"
<Seraphna> * Aero blushes.
<Jackieness> <XX> "She has an afection for him."
<DeathStar> <ICeheart> Looks like it - I don't suppose his nick name is Mega MAn?
<Seraphna> * Aero flails.
<Seraphna> Aero> "He's MegaMan Volnutt!"
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> ... this gets weirder and weirder
<Jackieness> <XX> "Does the name Dr Light mean anything to you?"
<Seraphna> Aero> "My best friend is his sister, Roll Caskett."
<Seraphna> * Aero pauses and thinks. "Light... Light... not sure, the Professor might know though!"
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Roll. 6* She repeats slowly. "Professor?"
<DeathStar> 6* As they get further into the cave, they would find themselves in a room with a square shaped indention in the floor and a large square block to the side
<Seraphna> Aero> "Professor Barrell Caskett, Roll's grandpa."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Alright.
<DeathStar> 6* She looks around
<Jackieness> <XX> "This is obvious."
<Seraphna> Aero> "Gotta put the block in it, like this!" *she walks over and starts pushing the block, the small girl pushing a lot of weight with relative ease*
<DeathStar> 6* IT falls into the indention and a door unlocks. Iceheart walks in and she looks about; four staligites are on the ceiling, positioned north, east, south, and west. Below are switches. But surely there is some trick, right?
<Eluere> 6Null shoots the stalagtites
<Seraphna> Aero> "We have to... umm..." *she stares* "What if you damage the mechanisms!"
<Jackieness> <XX> "Null, down."
<DeathStar> 6* they all fall down and hit the switches - the room begins to rumble and giant Reavers emerge, about 30 of them
<DeathStar> 6* Their eyes glow and beams of laser fly out at the team. Iceheart forms her ice shards, leaping back to avoid shots
<Jackieness> <XX> "Now you may become excessively violent."
<Jackieness> <XX> *leaps back from the oncoming blasts*
<DeathStar> 6* Prepare for group OG
<Eluere> 6Null dashes lower to the ground and whips her sabers about in combo slashes running through them
<DeathStar> 6* right, Up, Down, LEft, Right, Right, Up, Down, Right, Left, Up, up, Down, Right, Left, Down, Up, DOwn, Right, Left, up, Down, Right, Down, Left

<Eluere> (Yes, you did. Long enough?)
<DeathStar> 6* Aero and XX avoid the shots expertly, with XX only slightly tagged three times and not really damaged; Null is hit by all 30 shots and sent into the wall ,sparking from major damage. Iceheart is struck once and stumbles
<DeathStar> 6* Null explodes
<Seraphna> * Aero huffs and fires a charged shot at one of the reavers before diving for cover, her boots grow rollerblades and she slides along.
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart leaps back, heading back for the other room, kicking Null's head into the other room to preserve her memory chip
<Jackieness> <XX> *teleports behind a Raver and tries firign at the back of its head*
<DeathStar> 6* The Reaver is hit and stumbles; Aero's shot destroys one while the stumbling one fires into it's friends ,blowing up three
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> There's too many; get back into the other room and bottle neck them!
<Seraphna> * Aero rolls out from cover and skates along, firing at another reaver. "Okay!" *she spins and skates for the other room fast*
<Jackieness> <XX> "This answers the question about why they are not bothered often!" *teleports for the other room*
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart pants in the first room, which only has the big square block for cover. The Reavers begin to try to enter the room through the door way one at a time.
<Seraphna> * Aero fires down into the hallway at them, she switches to rapid shot!
<Jackieness> <XX> *moves to the side of the door and fires with her buster, trying to tag the reavers with the crossfire as they come in.
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart throws ice shards at them rapidly to aid in the rapid shots. Soon all the Reavers are destroyed due to their tactics, only one's head left in tact. Iceheart grabs Null's head and attaches it to a damaged Reaver body for now and connects it, booting her up - she has a square body with arms and legs now
<DeathStar> 6* The head, where the super laser came from ,lays near XX
<Jackieness> <XX> "You have been more attractive in the past, Null." *picks up the Reaver head* "I crave this one's weapon."
<Eluere> <Null> Whatever.
<Seraphna> Aero> "Yeah... don't try to shoot the puzzles, you summon Reavers."
<Eluere> <Null> You can solve them from now on.
<Seraphna> Aero> "Sure thing squirt."
<Seraphna> * Aero skates for the next room.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Let us continue before I become annoyed." *walks into the next room*
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart walks in; on the wall they see writing that says E, S, N, W, but it was hard ot make out and needed more investigation. The staligates are back agian
<Seraphna> Aero> "Directional symbols. East, South, North and West."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Obviously the order that they need to be pulled. Which direction is which?"
<Seraphna> * Aero pulls out super advanced tech: A compass! And points north.
<Eluere> <Null> You sure that works right-- down here?
<Jackieness> <XX> *moves to pull the East, South, North, and then the West one based on the direction Aero gives.
<Seraphna> Aero> "We use satellite triangulation these days instead of magnets."
<DeathStar> 6* The switches, once hit, pop up after a certain time - Null had the right idea of shooting them all - she just didn't know the order
<Eluere> <Null> ... I never used magnets. Large amounts of metal interfere with signals..
<Seraphna> Aero> "There's four of us, we'll all hit them in the right order." *she moves over to North switch*
<DeathStar> 6* ICeheart takes South
<DeathStar> <Icehart> Null, you get W.
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> On 3.
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> 1.
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> 2.
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> 3.
<Eluere> 6Null deadpans, trying to aim the crude body and fire at the West
<DeathStar> 6* She throws her ice shard at her's
<Jackieness> <XX> *fires at East
<DeathStar> 6* Null's stomach area fires a beam
<Seraphna> * Aero hits North.
<DeathStar> 6* XX's hits first, then Ice's, then Aero's, then Null's. A door opens
<Seraphna> * Aero giggles and skates ahead. "Let's hurry!"
<Jackieness> <XX> *moves into the next room*
<Eluere> 6Null waddles along.
<DeathStar> 6* As they enter the next room, they see a giant Reaver that's about 4 stories, with 4 gems on it - head, left arm, right arm, and crotch area. IT comes to life and rises up
<Seraphna> Aero> "Hit the gems! They're power cores!"
<Seraphna> * Aero starts skatting, she takes a shot at the left arm gem as she moves around.
<Jackieness> <XX> *teleports to a better angle and fires at the head gem*
<Eluere> 6Null fires from her chest at the crotch
<DeathStar> 6* ICeheart throws at the right arm one; all of them hit at once and it blows the Reaver up before it has a chance. It falls over
<DeathStar> 6* Then explodes, a motherlode key left
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Heh.
<Seraphna> * Aero skates over and snags it. "Whooo!"
<Jackieness> <XX> "This is the key?"
<Seraphna> Aero> "I'm a treasure hunter now! Let's go save Mega!"
<Jackieness> <XX> "With all speed."
<Seraphna> * Aero starts skating out.
<DeathStar> 6* As they head out, anotehr Reaver rises, with 4 gems just like before
<DeathStar> 6* It blocks their path, in the E, S, N, W switch room
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Another?! Goddammit
<Jackieness> <XX> "Same as before then?"
<Seraphna> Aero> "Yes! Shoot the gems!" *she fires at the left arm again*
<Jackieness> <XX> *once more fires upon the head gem!*
<DeathStar> 6* The left arm pings, but XX's shot hits her's and they all resent back to nromal color
<DeathStar> 6* The Reaver begins to charge a super move
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart forms a shard
<Seraphna> Aero> "Right Arm! Then Try Head!"
<Seraphna> * Aero shoots the right arm.
<Jackieness> <XX> *fires on the head next.
<DeathStar> 6* They reset; the beam is now 75% ready
<Seraphna> * Aero fires at the right arm. "Try left, then duck!"
<Seraphna> * Aero skates for cover.
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart rolls behind the square block
<Jackieness> <XX> *fires on the left then teleports to the side of the room*
<DeathStar> 6* They reset; it fires a super beam toward Null
<Eluere> 6Null flops onto her back
<DeathStar> 6* It goes over her and misses. Being a big Reaver htough Ice has to help Null back to her feet
<DeathStar> 6* If anyone has Moderate Tactics they may use it
<Jackieness> <XX> "E S N W... left arm, crotch, head, right arm."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Sounds right. Get ready
<DeathStar> 6* She gets the crotch lined up to go after the left arm is shot
<DeathStar> 6* The Reaver prepares a new instant death move
<Seraphna> * Aero nots and shoots at the left arm.
<DeathStar> 6* Ice hits the crotch
<Jackieness> <XX> *fires at the head*
<Seraphna> * Aero shoots at the right arm.
<DeathStar> 6* All the colors flash and the Reaver blows up
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Good job, XX.
<Jackieness> <XX> "This room was no accident for the ambush."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Who would design such fucked up puzzles
<Eluere> <Null> Angela
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart considers that seriously
<Jackieness> <XX> "Or one of her descendants."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> I think you're right sadly. Come on, lets get to that ruin
<Jackieness> <XX> "Yes."
<Eluere> <Null> I bet there's a big Angelasquidbot at the end of this.
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart leads them out, remembering the way. As they walk along, they see a bald man with white tuffs of hair on either side of his head and an outrageous mustache -looking like Dr. Wily - and wearing a fisher man's outfit
<Eluere> <Null> With biotentacles
<Jackieness> <XX> "...no...just... do not."
<Eluere> <Null> And I don't have my body unlike you two. Hahaha
<Jackieness> <XX> "You still have a mouth."
<Seraphna> * Aero waves. "Hey gramps!"
<DeathStar> 6* The grumpy man mutters about the world and taking it over after he fishes, ignroing them; as they get near the ruins they spot Baby Bonne - Sera may describe him
<Seraphna> * He looks like a robotic ape, but instead of a head or body he appears to be one of the helmet enemies in the old Mega Man games, with massive arms and short legs attached. "Oh no... it's a Bonne..."
<Jackieness> <XX> "What are these Bonnes?"
<Eluere> 6Null fires for the eyes before he ducks or something
<Seraphna> Aero> "A family of pirates, they seem to have it in for Mega."
<Seraphna> Aero> "H-Hey he's just a baby!"
<DeathStar> 6* The baby is hit in the eyes and it begins to make crying noises, flailing blindly
<Jackieness> <XX> "Null is extremely violent."
<DeathStar> 6* It's short legs shake the area as it stomps about in pain, making them off kilter
<Eluere> 6Null waddles over and pushes him toward the water
<Seraphna> * Aero baps her upside the head then squeaks, falling over.
<DeathStar> 6* The baby falls into the water, sinking to it's demise
<DeathStar> <Iceheart Will the rest of the Bonnes be pissed?
<Seraphna> Aero> "Very!!! That was mean!!"
<Jackieness> <XX> "This did not feel right."
<Seraphna> * Aero huffs, frowning. "They're jerks but we don't kill one another! Just steal treasure!"
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> .... CAn we fish it out then?
<DeathStar> 6* She eyes the water dubiously
<Seraphna> * Aero nods. "Let's see..." *she walks over and peers about, then pulls out a grapple gun, shooting it into the water, she sets the line up against the shore* Help me pull.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Null, you will only act when you are told to act from now on." *moves to help Aero*
<Eluere> <Null> You're not my boss. They're pirates. Pirates are outlaws.
<Seraphna> * Aero pushes her into the water.
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart watches XX and Aero strain to lift the big ape like baby out - it plops out after some effort and lays there, crying, but not attacking - it seems freaked out someone tried to kill it
<DeathStar> 6* Null's heavy body sinks her right away
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> ... fuck stick now we have to get her out
<Eluere> 6Null sinks.
<Seraphna> * Aero shoots down another line into Null. She then goes to pet Baby Bonne. "There there. I punished the mean bitch."
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart yanks Null out. She sighs, annoyed. "Lets jsut get to the ruin." 6* She eyes the locked door. "How does the key work?"
<DeathStar> 6* Baby Bonne calms down and moves off after nodding to Aero
<Eluere> 6Null opens a panel like Bender and pours water and a fish out.
<DeathStar> 6* The fish flops
<Seraphna> * Aero holds out the key to the shield, letting their resonances cancel each other out.
<Jackieness> <XX> *goes to put the fish back into the water while the door is opened*
<Seraphna> Aero> "It's really ancient tech, so advanced we don't completely understand it. We've actually regressed a bit."
<DeathStar> 6* The fish is saved; it remembers XX as it swims off
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> It has a resonance frequency...?
<DeathStar> 6* She crosses her arms as the two begin to cancel each other out and open the door. "When did such tech come into play I wonder...
<Jackieness> <XX> "We must salvage more of this technology."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> I'm sure the ruins will have a lot -t he Mavericks clearly plundered it. We have to stop them from going back in time with it.
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> So, get what you can in there, and destroy any Maverick
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> You two with me?
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> IF we can do this, our allies might not die and the riot might not take place.
<Seraphna> Aero> "Sure, as long as we save Mega..."
<Jackieness> <XX> "They will be destroyed."
<Eluere> <Null> I don't think I'll be much use.
<Seraphna> Aero> "Just direct your self destructive tendancies at the bad guys."
<Jackieness> <XX> "And try not to collapse the ruins before we escape."
<Eluere> <Null> I can barely move like this; dumbass.
