<DeathStar> 6* 2 days have passed since upgrading XX and other things, but most of it has been forgotten, perhaps due to effects of the time traveling none of them remember.
<DeathStar> 6* Soon John will be back with Seraphna and Zeraphna and when he learns about Katrina, no doubt he will rage and flip out. His shuttle is due in hours. However, there's been no leads and Wind has been isolated with the dead body

<kalonZombie> 6*Æ trains with his spear, practicing working his buster into the combos
<Seraphna> * Anyata frowns, peering over the data and notes they had collected, and what they have from Katrina, knowing that the only actual identifiable part of what they found was supposed to be her hair. She rubs her face, "Feeling more and more like I really did fail."

<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart sits in the kitsune's shrine, signing papers to let them go back to Earth since no one seems to be hunting them anymore
<Seraphna> Anyata> "I am a protector of the McCormick family."

<Jackieness> <XX> *has been more sour than usual of late, but who knows why her mood is so off?
<Seraphna> Anyata> "I have had the children kept from knowing yet. I cannot bear the thought of her crying, especially if Wind is correct."
<DeathStar> 6* Meanwhile, right out in the hallway, Dominator eyes the kid and begins to tell her
<Seraphna> * Anyata blurs as she zips out to him and puts a hand over his mouth. "Shhh."
<DeathStar> 6* Dominator stares at Anyata, then begins to write her up for insubornation
<Feather> <Null> Want anything in particular, Aya?
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart pauses and finishes signing, motioning to a group of men to escort the kitsune to their new home and grabs her beeping datapad; after a minute she sends a message to everyone to go to the teleporters. She ebgins to walk there
<kalonZombie> 6*Æ gets a shivver down his spine and he doesn't even know why. Or how. He's a reploid, that shouldn't happen.

<Seraphna> Anyata> "...You can write me up later. Right now, perhaps you should allow the child's guardian to make parenting decisions?"
<DeathStar> 6* She pauses, then eyes her datpad
<DeathStar> <Dominator> She asked where Katrina was at.
<DeathStar> <Dominator> I will not lie
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Then say she is with Wind."
<Jackieness> <XX> *heads for the teleporters, putting her mysterious drawings into a desk drawer beforehand*
<DeathStar> <Dominator> You have an incoming call.
<Seraphna> * Anyata peers at it and checks.
<Seraphna> Anyata> "It seems we are going to the teleporters."
<DeathStar> 6* Atay picks up the kid. "I'll watch her while you go! Good luck." 6* She runs from Dominator
<DeathStar> <Dominator> ... 6* He mutters; meanwhile, after XX is gone, X1 opens the drawer and pulls out the drawings. Aya heads to the teleporters and arrives as Iceheart does.
<Seraphna> * Anyata nods, then looks at Dominator. "Thank you for wanting to be honest, however." *she heads to the teleporter*
<kalonZombie> 6*Æ starts to head for the teleporters
<Feather> 6Null turns off all the burners and heads after, wiping her hands on a towel.
<DeathStar> 6* X1 adds hearts to the drawing
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Everyone here? Good. Lets go. 6 *She taps a button and they are transported to where Wind is standing there with Megumi
<DeathStar> <Wind> I have a lead.
<DeathStar> 6* Wind walks toward a shuttle that's powered up and walks up it
<Seraphna> Anyata> "I see."

<Seraphna> * Elayne flutters and lands on Wind's shoulder.

<DeathStar> 6* Wind sits in the pilot seat; Iceheart takes a seat, arms crossed. "Care to fill in the class?"
<Jackieness> <XX> *boards the shuttle and tajes a seat*
<Seraphna> * Anyata takes a seat on the shuttle.
<DeathStar> <Wind> There was particularits in her skin that the computer identified as coming from a certain part of a place in Italy.

<Seraphna> Elayne> "Which shouldn't be there since Katrina was nowhere near Italy before being kidnapped?"
<DeathStar> 6* Wind lifts the shuttle up, flipping switches and begins to fly.
<Feather> <Null> Really?
<Jackieness> <XX> "It just means that the fake is from this Roma."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Assuming it's a fake; we can't know if the Katrina with us lately was the real deal. We have that Erevis we thought was her for a while
<DeathStar> <Wind> Erevis was confused on her identity; this is different. The Katrina with us was not a fake
<DeathStar> <Wind> You can't clone that much detail without transferring the person itself over
<Seraphna> Anyata> "...But the body...?"
<DeathStar> <Aya> Curious.... 6* She begins to look up Roma
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Cran managed to get close enough with Aunt Zera."
<DeathStar> <Wind> My theory is this: the real Katrina was taken by the people Copycat was working for and a mindless clone was killed. Hence the particulets and the fact certain things didn't match up
<Seraphna> Anyata> "So we were left with the clone's body and he made his way out, stalling us with traps."
<DeathStar> <Wind> We all know the enemies have been working together lately - Sigma and the Mavericks, the 5th Column, Ghoul...
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Yeah, but we still don't know what to end, and or who took that prophecy book
<DeathStar> 6* Aya hmmms, studying Roma - a lazy small town popluation 25,000

<Jackieness> <XX> "Why are all these forces that have nothing in common ideologically work together beyond just a mutual enmity with this group? Their goals are often in opposition."

<DeathStar> <Iceheart> I'm guessing it's an alliance to kill us then it'll fall apart. Oh, and we have X and Zero out there, doing who knows what

<Seraphna> Elayne> "Common ideals are all well and good but... exactly, Aya."

<Seraphna> Elayne> "A scarier person able to make them all work as one, out of common fear or lust for power."
<DeathStar> 6* They fly over the lazy town of Roma. People can be seen doing Italian like things, a nice flower field outside the city. Two teenagers, twins, boy and female, are picking flowers side by side. The girl seems to be ordering the boy around as his oneesama
<DeathStar> 6* Wind lands outside the flower field. "Megumi, watch the shuttle."
<Feather> <Megumi> Yes.
<DeathStar> 6* He lowers the ramp and walks out, adjusting his wrinkled suit - he's been working in it for days, despite not smelling. Iceheart follows, shaking her head at Wind, while Aya steps out with her datapad.

<Seraphna> * Anyata steps out, peering around slowly.

<Feather> 6Null stays beside Aya, peering at the datapad curiously.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya is researching the culture - a pacifististic people, they enjoy flowers and sell rare ones around the world, and making grand food. She looks at Katrina's history. "She came here about 7 months ago." <Wind> After Junior and her broke up. She wanted to get away
<DeathStar> 6* Wind walks past the twins; the girl looks up at them, staring intently
<Seraphna> Anyata> "So she has been here before..."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Junior, bleh."

<DeathStar> <Girl> ... *she pulls her twin brother closer protectively, watching them go by.*
<Feather> 6The boy tilts his head, blinking at the girl.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Hmmm. Is anyone else interested in the automatic assumption that we are up to no good?"
<DeathStar> 6* Wind walks into the main town; it's quaint, modernish, but something out of 300 years ago too. People move about the streets systematically, smiles on their faces that never waver - almost eerily really. One person is paintingt the side of a house; his bucket of paint is almost empty and he's only on the second board. Another woman is baking a cake, but there's no other cakes in ehr shop

<kalonZombie> <Æ> Oh totally agree, XX.
<Seraphna> * Anyata pays them little mind as she walks past. "Slightly, but I find I'd rather act innocent... this place is... odd."
<Seraphna> Elayne> *quietly feels out with her other senses*
<DeathStar> 6* One kid is riding about on a bike, throwing a newspaper at doors; he turns right and goes out of sight; people open the doors and take the papers.
<DeathStar> <Aya> ... 6* She looks about as Wind, ignoring it all, marches down the street. Elayne would feel just plain happy thoughts
<Feather> <Null> I feel like I saw a movie like this.

<kalonZombie> <Æ> Did the entire town end up being creepy zombies being led by a master zombie?
<kalonZombie> <Æ> Cause if so I think I saw the same one.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "...Opinions, are plain, happy thoughts really that normal?"
<Seraphna> Elayne> "I mean, half of downtown Mega City usually feels pissed off. Here it's like... happyville."

<Seraphna> ELayne> "These people do too... but it's all happy."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Maybe that's why they're outside - everyone in here is freaking nutso
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Perhaps we should ask the kids."
<DeathStar> 6* Wind approaches the mayor's building, moving inside; the kid on the bike rides by, throwing papers at doors again
<kalonZombie> <Æ> How many papers do these people need?
<Seraphna> Elayne> "HOw are the lawns? I can't see much with Anyata's jugs in the way."
<Seraphna> Anyata> "The... lawns?"
<Jackieness> <XX> "It appears that this town is operating on a loop."
<Seraphna> * Anyata looks at the front lawns.
<DeathStar> 6* The lawns are well maintained. Iceheart eyes the mayor's house
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Yeah, I'm going back outside. If Wind gets brainwashed oh well
<DeathStar> 6* She turns to leave town. A woman smiles, setting out food on a table. "Have some food, strangers!"
<DeathStar> <Aya> ... 6* She eyes it, a bit hungry since Null got interrupted.
<Jackieness> <XX> "...scan it."
<Seraphna> * Anyata gently turns Aya to move on.
<Feather> <Null> Don't Aya.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya nods to Null, obeying.
<Seraphna> * Anyata moves after Wind. <I will keep on WInd's tail and use internal comms to talk to you, Iceheart.>
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart ignores the woman, walking on; she just smiles. Happy.
<kalonZombie> <Æ> No thanks, don't need ot eat. 6*He moves on
<DeathStar> 6* Aya hurries after Iceheart, scanning the food as she goes by. The readings are odd.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Mmmmm, there's something I cannot identify in it
<Jackieness> <XX> "Take a sample for analysis then. This is too odd to ignore."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya takes the plate politely as they exit back to the flower field. The boy and girl eye them coming and immediate she elbows ihm, putting on a stupid smile like the towns people
<Feather> <Null> Any idea what's wrong here, Aya..? Time loop? Dimensional distortion?"
<kalonZombie> <Æ> Zombies. Totally zombies.
<DeathStar> <Aya> No particles in the air for time or dimensional problems. There's just some unknown ingredient in the food
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart narrows her eyes at the teenagers
<Jackieness> <XX> "I say interrogate them. They seem unaffected though aware of what is happening."
<Feather> 6The boy gestures at Iceheart, clearly they should run
<DeathStar> 6* The girl turns and runs for it.
<DeathStar> 6* She pulls the boy with her
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> TAke them down - gently I guess.
<Jackieness> <XX> *dashes forward to try to catch them*
<DeathStar> 6* The girl ducks down in the flowers, vanishingt from sight in the field of them
<Feather> <Null> They're gone!
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> I don't suppose we can set the flowers on fire
<DeathStar> 6* Aya holds up her scanner, scanning. "Interesting, the ingredients in the flowers seem to be in the food. Becareful."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Scan!"
<DeathStar> 6* She points at a patch. "Except that patch right there; they're there."
<kalonZombie> <Æ> We could but then we'd have to deal with hippies.
<Jackieness> <XX> *leaps toward the indicated patch*
<kalonZombie> 6*Æ teleports over there to flank with XX
<DeathStar> 6* XX leaps on top of the two. The girl shields her brother, glaring
<DeathStar> 6 * Aya pauses, and peers at the city; people seem to be gathering, standing there and smiling. She speaks up in a whisper. "Guys..." <Girl> You gave us away...we're dead now...
<kalonZombie> <Æ> We'll protect you. These guys are just zombies. Where's the master zombie?
<Jackieness> <XX> "...should we terminate the village?"
<DeathStar> 6* The people begin to approach, holding flowers. Aya, near the flower patch, looks dizzy, as does other organics
<DeathStar> <Girl> Chew this flower. 6* She holds up a white flower, a lily, to those who are fleshy
<DeathStar> 6* there's an explosion in the city and smoke. It seems something happened to Wind and Anyata.
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart comms Megumi. "Aim the turrets on the shuttle at these people - now."
<DeathStar> 6* The girl's expression wavers a bit at a woman and a man, who look old enough to be her mother and father, smiling happily and approaching, calling out Fiore and Dawn
<Jackieness> <XX> "Explain what is going on now!"
<DeathStar> 6* Aya takes the flower and does so.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash pulls his spear out from subspace and activates it
<Feather> <Megumi> <Un... derstood.> 6The begins to acquire target and adjust weaponry.

<DeathStar> <Girl> Man in lab coat came - had white wild hair. he said he was doing experiments to help people. People began to change ... happy all the time. Not our parents. They're dead. Those are imposters. Then bald reploid showed up to examine work. Had a book
<DeathStar> 6* Fiore shudders at the sight of the mand and woman
<Jackieness> <XX> "How do you know they are dead?"
<Feather> 6Dawn looks at Fiore, then down.
<DeathStar> 6* Elayne passes out from not eating the flower.
<kalonZombie> <Æ> Sigma. Always Sigma.
<Seraphna> * Elayne tries to eat the flower, if still possible.
<DeathStar> 6* Elayne barely recovers and is at half power
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Why is Sigma here experimenting on humans...and making happy fakes? ARe they clones like the Katrina we found?
<DeathStar> 6* 5000 approach them, all smiles. Iceheart backs away. "XX, grab those two and get out of the waty of the shuttle." <Fiore> Never came back.
<DeathStar> <Fiore> Snuck into lab once - saw bodies split open and doctor taking things out to examine
<Jackieness> <XX> *grabs the pair and teleports out of the strike zone*
<kalonZombie> 6*Æ, also there with XX, grabs one and teleports out of the way of the shuttle with them
<DeathStar> 6* She looks tired, likely having been putting up this charade with her brother for ages.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya scurries to the side as does Iceheart. <Iceheart> Fire! Take them out
<Seraphna> Elayne> *Crawls into Iceheart's boobs for safetey*
<DeathStar> 6* The horde is not 100 meters away
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart gets her ice daggers ready. "We're out numbered..."
<Feather> <Null> That's horrible..." 6She peers at Aya frowning, looking at the twins. Then shakes her head, the ship begins firing at Iceheart's order
<Jackieness> <XX> "...that air strike is not forthcoming."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya pulls out a tiny gun
<Seraphna> ELayne> "There it is..."
<kalonZombie> <Æ> C'mon c'mooooon...
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttle blasters tear apart the people, splattering blood and organs eeryone; they certainly look human. Heads roll, stomach parts fly about; in mere moments due to the sheer stupidity of the approaching people, the ground is littered with 2000 bodies an about 20,000 parts now
<DeathStar> 6* The field of flowers is now bathed in blood
<DeathStar> <Aya> The town population is about 25,000. Wind and Anyata are in trouble.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "They're just... walking into it..."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "We should probably go save them."
<Jackieness> <XX> "... ... ...are you certain those were fakes?!"
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Lets use the shuttle and fly in; going on foot would be suicide.
<DeathStar> 6* Fiore nods quiety
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart moves to the ramp and up it
<Jackieness> <XX> "Clones then?" *moves up the ramp, pulling the kids with her*
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Lets assume they're clones. Like Katrina. It stands to reason they only programmed basic functions into their brains

<kalonZombie> 6*Æ moves up the ramp
<Feather> <Null> I really hope so...
<DeathStar> 6* At that moment, Elayne's datapad beeps.
<Seraphna> * Elayne pulls it out of seemingly nowhere, in Iceheart's boobs, checking it.
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart takes the controls and lifts them up, flying them to the city; people are still moving about their daily routines, not paying them any mind. Fiore holds Dawn, looking broken down no
<DeathStar> <Datapad> It's John. Where are you and Kat? We brought presents.
<DeathStar> <datapad Message 2> Oh, nevermind, got your location ping; on the way!
<Seraphna> Elayne> *replies back* On mission! Very dangerous, town full of mindless zombie monsters!
<DeathStar> 6* As they fly to the mayor's house, which is a crater, they can see Wind firing blasts of hyperspace itno people approaching, just dying by the droves. His eyes are wild at the carnage he's inflicting. Anyata is beside him, no doubt chopping up smiling people.
<DeathStar> <Datapad Message 3> This looks like a job for Snipe
<Jackieness> <XX> "Would you be able to identify the main in the lab coat if we found an image of him?"
<Feather> <Dawn> ..." 6He reaches and feels her cheek.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "We're extracting Anyata and Wind at the moment, just wait for us."
<Seraphna> * Anyata is in fact, slicing up people like some sort of beam blade wielding hyper assassin.
<kalonZombie> <Æ> I think I'm in love.
<Jackieness> <XX> "I could teleport to the ground level and teleport our people back up to the shuttle before they are overwhelmed."
<kalonZombie> <Æ> Same.
<Seraphna> Anyata> <Charging up my teleport, need a clear spot on the shuttle to teleport in.>
<DeathStar> 6* Fiore looks at Dawn and breaks down crying, all these weeks of being the strong one having taken it's toll
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Do it
<DeathStar> 6* She tells XX
<Jackieness> <XX> "Watch the youngsters." *teleports down to the ground level near Wind and Anyata, firing a few blasts from her gun* "I am here to provide the evac."
<DeathStar> 6* At that moment, another shuttle flies by and Snipe (John) comes flying out on a giant bear, riding it down into a mass of people, crushing them and sending their bodies flying. He leaps off and begins to do battle with his fists, back to back with the bear as they fight. Iceheart stares, then shrugs. "He'll provide us a distraction. *comm* Bring 'em up now"
<Seraphna> Elayne> "I'd like my husband alive."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> It's John. Will happy clones kill him?
<DeathStar> <Aya> Is that a bear?
<Jackieness> <XX> *then teleports back to the shuttle, her teleport field expanded to cover Wind and Anyata*
<AquaKoala> *The bear fights them, using his bear hands slashing at them and roaring
<kalonZombie> <Æ> I think mom's new toy came along.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Oh, Mom finished buuilding her Robot Master."
<Seraphna> Elayne> She MAY have taken one of the old Robot Masters and repurposed it. Angel wanted a teddy bear. Trust Mom to build one with rockets in it's chest armor or something.
<Seraphna> Elayne> Robot... Reploid. Yes, reploid.
<AquaKoala> *THe bear shoots a rocket out of his chest at a large group of the zombies
<DeathStar> 6* Wind pants. "This town has been taken over. We think there's a lab underground. But how to get to it..." <Fiore> ... know way... 6* She stands up and points ahead. Iceheart fies that way
<DeathStar> 6* John does a fist pump. "Yeah! That's how you do it, Teddy. AFter this, lets get a beer!"
<kalonZombie> <Æ> Mom's pretty awesome like that. 6*He says to Elayne
<AquaKoala> *Teddy roars in agreement
<DeathStar> <Aya> We should find Katrina if she's here before John catches up. 6* Fiore points at a plain store and Ice lands on the roof; the other clones do not notice, too busy marching on John and the bear, which are off camera now.
<Seraphna> Elayne> *taps her comms* "Johnny! You get out of there as soon as we're clear or I'm not giving you welcome home sex. And avoid their evil flowers!"
<Seraphna> * Which probably sounds odd coming from a creature that appears no bigger then a kitten, with wings.
<DeathStar> 6* Wind, like a man possessed, hurries out of the shuttle and blasts a hole in the roof with his hyperspace, leaping in. Ice glancesat Meg
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Keep an eye on the runts
<Feather> <Null> She made a fucking bear?
<DeathStar> 6* She follows, leaping down
<Jackieness> <XX> "These two described a wild haired man in a lab coat. Is that familiar?"
<Feather> <Megumi> ... ..." 6She eyes the kids.

<DeathStar> <Aya> Are you thinking someone from the past ressurected when Wind remade the reality?
<DeathStar> 6* Aya hurries to the hole and leaps in
<Jackieness> <XX> "...he is crazier than I am."
<DeathStar> 6* Wind moves to a door and rips it open, revealing stairs downward
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Are you stating you believe my great, great, great grandfather is alive?"
<Jackieness> <XX> "Someone must protect the children as well."
<DeathStar> 6* Wind walks down, using his finger to light the way, energy glowing. A metallic door is at the bottom with a complex code. He destroys it with his reality powers, erasing it; if Megumi knew she'd likely be unhappy and would go ..... instead of just ...
<Seraphna> * Anyata moves over towards Wind, and after him, still in a battle rage.
<kalonZombie> 6*Æ follows after the two
<Seraphna> Elayne> "I'll watch them, unless my perch isn't going after Wind too, in which case I'm watching them anyway."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya uses her datapad to scan. Once the door is erased, there's an elevator pad. Wind steps on, as does Iceheart, arms crossed.
<Jackieness> <XX> *nods and moves after the others aas they head down*
<Seraphna> * Anyata gets on. Elayne looks about and blinks.
<kalonZombie> 6*Æ gets on
<Feather> <Null> They still look a little rough around the edges." 6She gestures at Wind and Anyata.
<Seraphna> * Elayne flutters to Fiore's shoulder. "Hi."
<DeathStar> <Aya> Yes, a battle adrenaline of haing to kill people up close
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart hits the button to send them down. Fiore stares at Elayne, stiffening
<Seraphna> Elayne> "It's okay, I'm a Lunarian. We're good people. I'm going to shield you and keep you safe."
<DeathStar> 6* As they go down, the shaft opens up more and suddenly a yellow blob flies at the grup, then another, then another. PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR OG

<DeathStar> 6* Aya moves in with Null and they see a lab filled with human body parts, laying around and organs floating in tubes, machines running, monitors calculating. in the middle of the room is Dr. Wily and Sigma, standing over Katrina, who's head has been sawed open so they can look at her brain, nodes attached to it. She seems alive according to the monitors. They are talking -- if they sneak in they may be able to hear, but they could also kill Kat at any moment, maybe.

<DeathStar> 6* He blinks as Anyata appears. Wind fires a blast and he ducks it barely, running. "Oy!!!!" 6* He leaps behind a console; suddenly a self-destruct is activated.

<Seraphna> * Anyata peers for a way to safely pick up Katrina. "Aya, over here, NOW."

There was no sign of Sigma or Wily afterwards and the news is reporting that Roma was destroyed due to a gasleak. Fiore and Dawn were found new homes in Wind's mansion for now. Iceheart stands there, arms crossed, preparing a debrief. John frowns, having learned all that happened.
