<DeathStar> 6* The team wakes up in pain and the sound of dripping water. It's dark and they are in cramped space, partially buried so they cannot move well, each of them finding parts of their body are pinned down by rubble - the anicent trap seems to have given out and the room collapsed down to a lower level where they are now amongst bones and half mummified corpses, having broken open some tombs. Other tombs remain sealed. The ceiling above is partially collapsed still, meaning they might have avoided Senreich, but sooner or later his men will likely come down the hole they made. Cassandra groans - who knows how she'll react when she opens her eyes.
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Keep your eyes closed Cassandra.
<Jackieness> <XX> "...this is annoying."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy tries to free himself carefully
<Seraphna> * Seraphna growls a little and peers around. "I could try getting smaller but I'm worried more rubble would collapse on me..."
<Seraphna> * Anyata works on trying to free herself as well.
<DeathStar> 6* Ire looks about and shifts, making sure the item he took is secured. He peers about. "This is good."
<DeathStar> 6* Ire strains to try to free his arm
<DeathStar> 6* As Teddy shifts, he pushes his weight onto Anyata and XX, crushing them more
<DeathStar> 6* His rubble weight
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Owww!"
<Jackieness> <XX> "Get off of me!"
<Seraphna> * Anyata peers around for a clear area she can try and teleport to.
<AquaKoala> *Teddy stops
<Jackieness> <XX> "Stupid rocks..."
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra looks about; she's small enough she can wiggle about. Anyata would not see a clear area, but there is a space nearby where Cassandra, if directed with eyes closed, could push against a stone door and possiblely make space for her to touch and teleport people
<DeathStar> <Ire> We must becareful--- 6* He pauses, and Iceheart hisses. She hears the Nazis above them, talking. They drop Ash's pieces down the hole and he lands in two halves amongst them
<DeathStar> <Senreich> Fools. Get down there and retrieve the automotron's head. 6* He says in a thrick German accent.
<Seraphna> Anyata> *internal* <Cassandra, push against that door and make space for me.>
<DeathStar> 6* He eyes the room. "They were here... we must find where Herr Carmichael went and find the Gem of Ra."
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra begins to open her eyes - uh oh.
<DeathStar> 6* The Nazis shift into the room, trying to slide down. Ash's head and body thankfully is near Anyata.
<DeathStar> 6* The only people not near her is Iceheart and Ire.

<Seraphna> Anyata> *whispers* "Keep your eyes shut."
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra pauses, not sure how to find the door. She begins to crawl the wrong way
<DeathStar> 6* Toward a mummy
<Seraphna> * Anyata whispers the directions to her.
<Seraphna> Anyata> "No, other way, keep that way. Hurry."
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra pauses and begins to turn around slowly, moving for the stone door and pushes against it. A NAzi's boot is seen above tem
<Seraphna> * Anyata grabs onto people, shifting to touch as many as possible. "Grab me."
<Seraphna> * Seraphna touches her. As she grabs XX.
<AquaKoala> *Teddy reaches to touch her
<Seraphna> * Anyata grabs Ash's parts with her other hand and teleports them to the space.
<Jackieness> <XX> *looks ticked off as she is grabbed*
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra eeps as she wasn't quite done pushing and they all teleport on top of her, forming a giant ball of people that make a noise and shove the door open and go rolling down a tunnel together, rapidly spinning down a slope
<Seraphna> * Seraphna reaches out and wind pulls rubble off Warren and Iceheart as she goes sliding down.
<AquaKoala> *Teddy grabs Cass protectively, and grips onto the floor with his hind leg, trying to slow them down
<Jackieness> <XX> "Have I mentioned how annoying this day has been yet?"
<DeathStar> 6* Teddy would find it too slipper to grip onto as they go rolling, passing through spidery webs and whatnot, and XX's clothing is torn off as she speaks, only her, until they crash into a new chamber below that's all dark
<Seraphna> * Seraphna poofs into a baby dragon at the last moment and collides into XX's cleavage to break her fall.
<Seraphna> * Anyata grunts as she raises, pulling out her flashlight and turning it on.
<Jackieness> <XX> "...and why am I the only one that is naked?!"
<AquaKoala> *Teddy tries to fall so he takes the impact to rotect Cass
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Dunno, but thanks for the pillows."

<Seraphna> * Anyata sighs and starts lashing Ash onto Teddy's back, 3PO style.
<DeathStar> 6* Anya would see Ash's hgead is easily connectable actually to his body
<Seraphna> * Anyata connects it.
<kalonZombie> <Ash> ...Guess it would be too late to shout a warning to you guys, huh?
<DeathStar> 6* They are in a giant room that is the size of a football field, with tons of small stone 'tombs' all over it, marked with ancient symbols for numbers, and in the far, far back is a giant statue of a man with a bird head. On the floor in the center is written something

<Jackieness> <XX> "I will punish you later, Seraphna..."
<Seraphna> * Anyata shines over to words as Seraphna lifts up. "I tried to get the rubble off Iceheart and Warren... I hope they're okay..."
<DeathStar> 6* Something comes down the slope --- rocks and rubble. It blocks the tunnel behind them
<AquaKoala> *Teddy looks over at it and sighs
<Seraphna> Anyata> <Iceheart...?>
<DeathStar> 6* Their comms are all staticy and there's no responses otherwise
<DeathStar> 6* Through other means
<DeathStar> 6 *Cassandra looks all over
<DeathStar> 6* She runs along toward the center where the writing is and peers at it curiously
<Seraphna> * SEraphna looks over the words.
<AquaKoala> *Teddy moves after Cass, staying close
<DeathStar> 6* It's written in ancient Egpytian, despite this being a South American temple - it talks about the gaze of Ra being all knowing
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash moves along as well, blinking
<kalonZombie> <Ash> What's Egyptian doing way out here?
<AquaKoala> Teddy> There are theories that they were both visited by aliens.
<Seraphna> SEraphna> "The Gaze of Ra... they must mean the Gem he was talking about."
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Gems are often used for eyes. Probably." *she peers around, then at the statue, shining her light at it's eyes*
<DeathStar> 6* The eyes reflect the light - they're mirrors, but the light she reflects is the wrong angle. The statue is definitely looking downward toward some of the tombs, but it's a general gaze downward. Above them the ceiling looks different ine one area
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Hmmm... need to redirect the light somewhere for sure.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna looks over the tombs around it's gaze curiously.
<DeathStar> 6* Being so big --- he's looking at a good 20-30
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra wanders about. There's some noises on the other side of the rubble now
<DeathStar> 6* She pauses and points. "Exit!"
<DeathStar> 6* she points at a hidden passage at the far back that leads out
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Assume it's not our friends. Hurry." *she peers at the eyes, moving the light about to see how it shines, she blinks and looks over*
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "We know the way out, but we need to make sure we get that gem."
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Good work Cassandra
<DeathStar> 6* The light reflects in the eyes like a mirror would, shooting at different angles depending on where she stands, so clearly there was an intended central point
<Seraphna> * Anyata moves under the odd part of the cieling and tries shining from there.
<Jackieness> <XX> *points at the ceiling, lifting an arm and exposing a boob* "There. an odd spot." *Crosses arms over boobs again*
<DeathStar> 6* The light bounces toward four tombs not in the area he's gazing
<Seraphna> * Seraphna hrms and checks over the tombs there.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash moves with her
<AquaKoala> *Teddy moves to help as well
<DeathStar> 6* They look sealed. He'll have to push hard to unseal them
<Seraphna> * Seraphna steps back. "Open them boys."
<DeathStar> 6* Meanwhile Nazis are heard on the other side of the rubble, working to set explosives
<Seraphna> * Anyata moves to the area just outside the rubble and sets up a trap of her own, then steps away.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash moves to push one of the seals open, with all of his strength
<AquaKoala> *Teddy pulls on his door as well
<Jackieness> <XX> *iwht pissed off strength goes to unseal another door*
<DeathStar> 6* AS they open the tombs, they unleash various traps - spikes shoot out and impale XX's shoulders, damaging them, snakes leap out and bite Teddy - damaging themselves. Poison gas shoots out at Ash
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash moves to plug where the poison is seeping from
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Progress. Ash, don't breath."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy tries to grab the snakes and kill them
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash nods, not needing to breathe anyway, right? I mean... reploid and all
<Jackieness> <XX> "Nnnnn... I hate this place!"
<DeathStar> 6* EAch of the tombs only have bodies, no gems.
<DeathStar> 6* Cassandra looks from she's standing
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "That was a waste... what are we missing...?"
<Seraphna> * Anyata shines the light around the eyes again, trying to find anything else anomalous.
<Jackieness> <XX> "The ceiling again?"
<Seraphna> * Anyata shines a light on it.
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Try to get the light to hit the statue from hitting the ceiling.
<Seraphna> * ANyata tries that, if it's a mirror.
<DeathStar> 6* The light doesn't bounce off the ceiling, though by shining they can see the outline of a square block of the miscolored section - it's a square in the middle of the ceiling, while the rest is solid, that's a square piece in the middle
<DeathStar> 6* The Nazis are heard moving off to set off the explosiv es
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Huh. Odd.
<Seraphna> * Anyata tries to angle the flashlight so the statue reflects onto that.
<Jackieness> <XX> "The goossteppers are about to blow the rubble."
<DeathStar> 6* Nothing. The miscolored section is the square
<kalonZombie> <Ash> We need to hurry and find whatever it is they're looking for then.
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Teddy throw Ash up there?
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Not exactly in the mood to fight Baron von Undead again.
<Seraphna> SEraphna> "Thank you Mr. Obvious." *she grumbles and peers about, sniffing*
<DeathStar> 6* The smell of musk and death assaults Sera's nostrils
<Seraphna> Seraphna> *frowns and starts sniffing around the tombs, looking for one not so death filled*
<Seraphna> * Anyata taps her foot. "Teddy, try tossing him up there... I can't think of anything else to do."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy nods and grabs Ash, trying to throw him towards the off section of ceiling
<DeathStar> 6* Ash goes flying and smashes against it, as he hangs on, it creeks downward a bit from his weight, some of the outside sun shining in as Ash hangs there, the sounds of rusted gears shifting from being forced this way to move the trap doorward

<Jackieness> <XX> "Finally, progress."
<DeathStar> 6* The sun is almost in the statue's eyes, the door needing to be opened more
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash hangs on for dear life, not wanting to die twice today
<Seraphna> * Anyata leaps up and grabs on as well, adding weight to bring it down more.
<DeathStar> 6* Anyata would need to teleport up - it's too high to leap up
<Jackieness> <XX> *teleports up to grab a hold*
<Seraphna> * Anyata teleports, if Super Jump is too much.
<DeathStar> 6* AS the two teleport and grab onto poor Ash, who's arms now are being forced to support them, the trap door is forced open - near Ra a lever is pulled downward that was hidden at his foot and the trap door swings open, all three hanging 4 stories up as the sun shines into the eyes and bounces toward one tomb - right as the explosion goes off and rocks the area, Nazis pouring in
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Well shit, don't they just have BRILLIANT timing?
<Seraphna> * Anyata groans and grabs a trigger, she rpesses it and two mines and three stun grenades go off where the Nazi's pour in.
<AquaKoala> *Teddy rushes for the tmb the light is pointing to, going low
<Jackieness> <XX> "And seeing all my bits and pieces... those goosesteppers are dead!"
<Seraphna> * Seraphna grabs Cassandra and takes cover.
<Seraphna> * Anyata then grabs Ash and XX and teleports back down to an area behind some dtombs.
<DeathStar> 6* Anyata takes down a dozen of them, but more rush in to take over, taking cover behind tombs to assess. Ninja Nazis poof in and out amongst tombs as Teddy rushes to the tomb and reaches it, and Cass squeaks
<Seraphna> * Seraphna sighs and peers around. "What a bother..."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy tries to pull open the tomb he came for quickly
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Thanks Anya.
<Seraphna> * ANyata peers around, watching for the Ninjas. She gets under cover and waits a moment.
<DeathStar> 6* Senreich steps out with Ire and Iceheart held at gunpoint, surrounded by Nazis. As Teddy opens it and sees a big red gem on a staff end, Senreich speaks, his voice like a corpse, gravely and whispy. "Thank you, for retrieving that. I propose a trade, Herr Bear. These two...for the Gem of Ra."
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash looks for cover too, forming his buster and pulling his spear from sub space
<DeathStar> <Ire> Forget us - teleport Teddy and go.
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Speak for yourself
<AquaKoala> *Teddy holds the spear to himself tightly "What should Teddy do mother?!"
<Seraphna> * Seraphna frowns. "We have our orders."
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash nods, then looks to Anya to help, then teleports to Teddy
<Seraphna> * Anyata looks infuriated.
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> Hey, what part of speak for himself did you not get. *She mutterS*
<DeathStar> 6* Ire eyes Iceheart,.
<DeathStar> <Senreich> That is very disappointing. *He sighs*
<Jackieness> <XX> *teleports over to Teddy as well*
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "This is a conflict."
<DeathStar> 6* The Ninja Nazis and Nazis continue to move in closer. They don't know about the exit yet.
<DeathStar> <Senreich> And do you think you all have what it takes to lead after these two are dead?
<Seraphna> * Anyata grabs Cassandra and speeds over to Teddy. Seraphna sighs. "I have a better proposal."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy looks torn, not sure what to do
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Hand them over or we see if you can dig your way out of this place with all your powers."
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash grins and gets in a battle stance
<Seraphna> * Anyata blinks and sets Cassandra on Teddy.
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Ash, teleport Teddy out of here."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy touches Ash, holding onto Cass
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash nods, grabbing onto Teddy and trying to get them out of there
<Seraphna> * Anyata gets into a battle stance. "XX. You wanted to punish them."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Definitely." *moves into a ready stance herself*
<DeathStar> <Senreich> I see. 6* He motions, as Teddy is teleported out, and the first Nazi fires, blowing Ire's head off. Iceheart winces as brain matter splatters. The next Nazi aims at her, and fires, her head snapping back and she falls backwards, head exposed and circuits flying, and Senreich taps a button, vanishing in a Maverick Teleporter, and the temple suddenly begins to shake, Uplink's explosives he had made set off.
<DeathStar> 6* The walls begin to collapse. The Nazis left behind look shocked at Senreich sacrificing them
<Seraphna> * Anyata speeds, grabbing Ire's body and Icehearts in the confusion, Seraphna blasts the Nazi's with a powerful gale and leaps for Anyata. "XX, teleport in sync!"
<Jackieness> <XX> "Ready!"
<Seraphna> * Anyata teleports with the bodies and Seraphna as soon as they touch.
<Jackieness> <XX> *teleports too!
<DeathStar> 6* As Anyata rushes in - she's cockblocked by a Nazi Ninja
<DeathStar> 6* So if XX teleports out, she's left all alone
<Seraphna> * ANyata uses her Zero Point Slash on the Ninja, trying to fight past.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna was winding, so she directs blast at those in Anyata's way too.
<Jackieness> <XX> *does not teleport until Anyata is able to as per orders to teleport in sync.
<DeathStar> 6* The Ninja is slashed and falls over, but the ninjas keep fighting even with death, even as the Nazis are freaked out and knocked over, move in and leap out, stabbing down at Seraphna from behind, three using their energy swords for her back, and two move in for Anyata in front, as a wall explodes, sending debris flying out
<Seraphna> * Anyata mini teleports to the bodies and Seraphna pulls up a wind shield and rolls forward. Moving for XX.
<Jackieness> <XX> *stands ready to teleport once they are ready.
<DeathStar> 6* An explosion scatters Ire's basically headless body and Iceheart's from each other, so Anyata cannot get to both. And the temple is going to come down in moments.
<Seraphna> Anyata> "XX, GO FOR IRE!"
<DeathStar> 6* The ninjas throw out devices that destroy the wind shield
<Jackieness> <XX> *short hop teleports to Ire's remains and grabs a hold of those*
<Seraphna> * ANyata rushes for Iceheart and grabs. Seraphan could care less as she rolled and heads towards XX, and Ire.
<DeathStar> 6* As XX goes for Ire, a ninja kicks her so she fails her teleport
<Seraphna> * Seraphna grabs onto XX as she's kicked.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "...Leave Ire..."
<Jackieness> <XX> *summons her buster and fires at the ninja*
<Seraphna> * Anyata teleports if she gets Iceheart.
<DeathStar> 6* The ninja is blasted by the blaster and falls over, even as the temple falls apart around them.
<Jackieness> <XX> *teleports out*
<DeathStar> -TIME JUMP-
<DeathStar> 6* Back at the Special Unit Mansion, Wind is there, arms crossed. John's team is back, having failed to find the cure for Aya who had to be sealed in a cyrochamber to keep her alive for the time being. Iceheart's memory chip was heavily damaged from the shot and even if it is repaired, she is likely not to be the same person, much like a person with brain damage.

<DeathStar> 6* He peers at the table of the items they managed to retrieve, except what Ire had on him - Lilith had to be transferred over to someone else of her choosing
<AquaKoala> *Teddy hangs hid head, holding Cass
<Seraphna> * Seraphna eyes the table the the things, looking a little dead inside.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash looks depressed a little as well, the mission basically the failure
<kalonZombie> *a failure
<Jackieness> <XX> *is in some of her udnergarments now and looking even more pissed off than usual*
<Kit> 6Null is out back, having cleaved a decent canyon in the yard with a charged up slash and a banshee's scream.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "One ordered us to leave, one to get them... Senreich killed them without even blinking... what we have to show for it... this Eye of Ra he wanted to badly and these... things."
<DeathStar> <Wind> Senreich killed 1000 of his own men
<DeathStar> <Wind> He's a stone killer. Ire barely managaged to end him last time - and then died a few months later dealing with CHIP
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Without blinking." *she repeats* "We can't... hesitate ever again with him."
<Jackieness> <XX> "HHe does not believ ein a cause. He craves only victory."
<DeathStar> <Wind> He believes in the 5th Column completely
<kalonZombie> <Ash> He's extremely powerful. Took me out like it was nothing.
<Seraphna> * Elayne sits quietly, having put the eggs in with Sera's.
<DeathStar> <Wind> But he won't hesitiate to kill his own people to achieve victory - you cornered him, so he cut his losses
<DeathStar> <Wind> He is a fox - if you take victory for him, he will gnaw his leg off to get away to fight

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I wasn't around when he appeared last. I just wish education didn't come at a price like this..."
<DeathStar> <Wind> He will see you all in a new light now.
<DeathStar> <Wind> He knows now you are like him - you will sacrifice your own leaders to stop him. That means he will counter attack soon to stop you because he thinks you're a threat to him
<DeathStar> <Wind> So that means we need to appoint one of you to take Ire and ICeheart's place now
<Seraphna> Elayne> "One for both places, or two people to lead?"
<DeathStar> <Wind> Right now you all need to stay together, so one person
<DeathStar> 6* John rubs the back of his head
<Jackieness> <XX> *keeps her arms crossed*
<Seraphna> * Seraphna remains quiet, she stares at the Eye of Ra. She then looks up. "I haven't led anything in a long time, but I don't think anyone else needs to deal with this weight. If you want me, I'll take the job. He'll be gunning for me anyway."
<DeathStar> <Wind> Since no one else is speaking up, alright. My other choice was either Ire's dog or Megumi.
<DeathStar> <Wind> First thing, you need to get Null to quit carving up my lawn - Megumi is having fits. Then find out what about Aya.
<DeathStar> 6* He turns and moves off for his own mansion - he has a planet to run
<Kit> <Null> I just want his head. And whatever else I can get ahold of." 6She says quietly, entering.
<Kit> 6Null stops Wind, with her hand on his chest, unblinking.
<DeathStar> 6* Wind peers at Null.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I assume that means you can stop destroying the lawn then."
<DeathStar> <Wind> Senreich isn't to be underestimated.
<Kit> <Null> There won't be an estimation.
<DeathStar> <Wind> Good. Keep in mind he isn't like Sigma. Or Vile. He won't fight you head on. Ever.
<Kit> <Null> I won't ask nicely.
<DeathStar> <Wind> He will kill anyone he takes hostage if he says he will.
<DeathStar> <Wind> He will not negotiate or barter if it's poor terms.
<DeathStar> <Wind> And he won't be goaded.
<Kit> <Null> I have no negotiation in mind. He has nothing I want.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I take it he also might kill them despite it?"
<DeathStar> <Wind> Not if he gets what he wants
<DeathStar> <Wind> There's no point then - because in the future he won't get what he wants again
<Seraphna> * Seraphna nods and frowns, peering away. "I'll... look into Aya now."
<DeathStar> 6* Wind nods to them and steps out. "Get ready for however he plans to hit back. I have something to look into. I feel a disturbance in reality I want to look into."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Alright. Don't overdo it."
<Kit> <Null> I can't do anything for her. I leave Aya to you, dragon woman.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna peers over Null a moment before turning and heading to check out Aya with Katrina and get ideas from her.
<Kit> <Null> I want the logs from XX on this Seinreich, and I'm going to start learning about the Fifth Column now.
<Seraphna> Elayne> *leans against John a bit* "Mom's never taken loss well."
<DeathStar> <John> It just sucks we never found Motenk tech
<DeathStar> <John> I wonder if we could get Wind to alter Aya's genes
<DeathStar> <John> The risk being he goes insane evil
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina is looking over Iceheart's chip
<Seraphna> Elayne> "...You have an idea there, just... well, needing a bit of change."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "We need to find someone who can alter genetic code."
<DeathStar> <John> Motenk code is pretty unknown
<Jackieness> <XX> *goes back to her quarters*
<DeathStar> <John> Not many people know anything about it
<Seraphna> Elayne> "So we need someone who likes a challenge."
<DeathStar> <John> Do we want to risk Aya on that?
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Feels like anything we do will be a risk."
<DeathStar> <John> It may be better to get Cheryl from the other reality to team up with Wind to keep each other in check
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Maybe we should see what he's gonna do then."
<DeathStar> <John> True. Speaking of Cheryls, we should see if ours will join the team - we're lacking fire power.
<DeathStar> 6* The computer near them beeps
<Seraphna> Elayne> "With Sera in charge she might, they are sisters."
<Kit> <Null> Yeah, I could use her.
<Seraphna> * Elayne blinks and checks it.
<Kit> <Null> I'm going to erase this guy from history for good.
<Kit> <Null> And anything he stands for.
<DeathStar> 6* A reality disturbance is noted near a set of coordinates to the north
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Huh.
<Seraphna> * Elayne notifies Seraphna and she comes heading back, she comms Wind.
<DeathStar> 6* The disturbance ends
<DeathStar> 6* It's near a small city
<DeathStar> 6* Wind answers. "I felt it."
