<DeathStar> 6* With the big battle over, and the majority of the 5th Column destoryed, things have been surprisingly quiet. Though Senreich has the Staff of Ra, his forces are decimated and not much has been heard form the Nazi. Seraphna has been become the defacto leader with most of her competition dead and Null, the only vocal voice against her, gone, training under Zero the past two weeks. With Vile captured, the Mavericks have even been quiet, too quiet some would say. This has allowed them to repair their base and upgrade it with money from the President, who has taken up residence in the base with Megumi. (cont)
<DeathStar> 6* So far Earth has been seemingly peaceful, allowing Seraphna time to try to bring the broken and battered team together which isn't easy. After all, you got a depressed Aya with no Null. You got a dimwitted Iceheart. A bloodthirsty Atay. A bear with a kid. And others who are adrift now
<DeathStar> 6* And who know what Senreich will do, or Sigma now that his right hand is gone. Plus you got the real WIly out there
<Seraphna> * SEraphna sits in command, going over the plans to have the base secured and repaired, as well as plans to get it mobile and with some more time, airborne when needed, she has roster files of all the team members floating around her and dossiers on possible new recruits as well, she rubs her eyes, as Angel sleeps on her head.

<Seraphna> * Anyata sits at a console, looking up some information for herself, looking tired herself and strained. While Elayne is going over each team member's last psyche evaluations, currently studying the currently away Null's file.

<Seraphna> * Seraphna taps her comms, calling XX directly. "I'd like to see you in command, ASAP."

<Seraphna> * SEraphna grabs a floating holographic file as XX walks in it shrinks into her hand and she tosses it like a ball at XX. "Heads up."

<Seraphna> * It reads, 'Hunter Command Protocol' on the cover. "Read up. I need a second field officer."
<DeathStar> 6* Cass nods, sipping her tea daintly. "Refill, Sir?"
<Artemis> 6Megumi stands around deadpannedly in a secretarial dress, wearing a hardhat, ordering repairmen around.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Alright. I'll read it."

<Seraphna> * Seraphna taps a command on her keyboard and everyone gets a notification for a staff meeting in 10 minutes. "Good, as of today I'm starting you on training. Which I may or may not have to personally oversee since we're a bit short on experienced officers save my husband."
<Jackieness> <XX> "They hit us hard. We hit them back."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Yeah, and there's more of them waiting in the eaves. With my great grandfather out there, I mean to make sure we have the numbers to handle them."

<Seraphna> * Anyata starts finishing up her research with the meeting coming up, Elayne puts her work away.

<DeathStar> 6* Cass claps happily; Aya, meanwhile, is on the roof of the base, peering across the ocean, hoping for Null. Wondering if he is alive. If she is with Zero

<Seraphna> * Kumiko wanders the hallways, looking lost.
<Jackieness> <XX> "It annoys me that he keeps so many copies running around."

<DeathStar> 6* Cass looks at them. "Who's the daddy and who's the mommy?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "It's a Wily trait. In fact, probably the very thing that brought my grandfather to copy me. You may as well wait here, the meeting should start shortly if people report in."

<Seraphna> * Seraphna sits back, closing out reports and files so that everyone isn't able to read them when they show up in command. Elayne heads over for the meeting.

<DeathStar> 6* Cass claps. "Okay. You two have to take care of me." *She looks at the* I want a pony.

<DeathStar> 6* Cass begins to sniffle

<Seraphna> * Anyata heads over for the meeting, peering in at the three as she passes by. "Meeting time, you three."

<Seraphna> * Anyata deadpans at the pony talk and heads off for the meeting.

<Artemis> 6Null flips him off, unable to reach it, sobbing for a while, resting long enough to autorepair and reach it.
<Artemis> 6Null poses with a right on and fist pump upon grabbing it.

<DeathStar> 6* Atay finishes her training and moves to the meeting; Ice wanders in and sits.
<DeathStar> 6* Wind peers at Meg's budget paperwork
<Seraphna> * Seraphna nods to Elayne as she steps in and takes a seat. Then the others, Anyata coming in shortly after.
<Artemis> 6Null brings up her data and types in the location, calculating a retrieval, preparing to beam.
<AquaKoala> *Teddy smiles and nods, moving to head to the meeting
<DeathStar> 6* Cass rides
<kalonZombie> 6*Æ heads for the meeting, also riding on Teddy
<Seraphna> * Seraphna waits for the last people coming in to be seated, then looks over them all. She smiles softly, but warmly.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Alright... I'll get started. This meeting is a general one. I haven't really addressed you all as the leader yet. We took some... heavy blows in the last battle, but we haven't been beaten. We took a significant amount of the enemy forces down at the same time. Right now, we seem to have a window of quiet. Some of you are still recovering, some of you want to get things done.
<Seraphna> So I'm going to be giving you all missions, mostly recon for now, things to do so we can build up our ability to fight the enemy."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy nods
<kalonZombie> <Æ> Alright.
<DeathStar> 6* Iceheart fiddles with the table, peering at nothing in particular.
<DeathStar> <Atay> When do we get to kill Senreich?
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "When we know where he is, we won't wait for him to make any moves, we'll take him out."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "For once, we're in a position where we're not waiting for the enemy to make the next move, we can start making moves of our own. We need more team members. While X, Zero and... other allies of ours are working solo, we need more Hunters. We're going to start recruiting again."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy blinks
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I'm promoting XX to a Field Officer position, and I'll be nominating another based on your performance in missions. Please give XX the same respect you would give me. If you have problems with how she does things, talk to me personally. We're allies here, and we don't have time for petty rivalries or squabbles."

<DeathStar> 6* Aya enters and sits as she hears that
<DeathStar> <Aya> Do you plan to use the tarot cards to bring in reinforcements from the other two realities, or are we doing this on our own?
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I'm actually going to use one, yes. While I don't like calling in favors so early, we've lost too many experienced people too quickly."
<DeathStar> <Atay> *She glances at the others, then at sera*
<DeathStar> <Atay> So what is the plan, 'leader'? *she says it dubiously*
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I'd like you all to consider if you're up to taking a jaunt to the 'Prime' reality. I'll need someone to convey the message to Cheryl. She can check with the third reality as well and send us who she can spare. Meanwhile, I'm compiling dossiers on possible new recruits, possible militias we can absorb into the Hunters as well. I'll be sending you out to recruit them." *she
<Seraphna> waits a moment, before going on*
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "More importantly, I want to hear from all of you. Any ideas on how to improve our chances?"
<AquaKoala> Teddy> More guns.
<kalonZombie> 6*Æ resists the urge to say "build me a girlfriend"
<Seraphna> * Seraphna peers around at them. "Well, I can certainly cook up more guns. And upgrade some of you. We can also use the data from several of you who went to the robot world to attempt to move you to a higher Mark rating."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> *speaks softly* I doubt they can spare people for us. We each have our own crisis
<Jackieness> <XX> "I have a shopping list then."
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> *she seems focused a moment*
<AquaKoala> *Teddy nofd

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I doubt it myself, which is why I want to do both forms of recruiting. Do you think it's a waste of card, Iceheart?"
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> I do not know
<Seraphna> * Seraphna nods. "I'd also like to get you back up to shape as soon as we can."
<DeathStar> 6* Wind walks along the station to his office
<DeathStar> <Iceheart> *blank look*
<Seraphna> * Kumiko passes Cheryl, looking more ghost like the normal. Gray, which might be bad for an albino.
<Seraphna> * Cheryl = Wind
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Right... see me after the meeting."
<DeathStar> 6* Wind peers at her, and pokes her. "Kumiko. I was wondering if you might do me a favor. Megumi is so busy lately I could use a second secretary to prepare food and talk to me."
<Seraphna> * Kumiko looks startled when poked and blinks a bit. She nod a bit then thinks over his words, motioning at her mouth.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna looks to Atayna. "You seem to have some ideas of your own. Anything to offer?"
<DeathStar> <Atay> We should be going out there and fighting
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Who? And where would we begin? We need to know where an enemy is to strike. However, that does bring up a good point. I'd like you to head a small recon team to start finding the answer to that."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I think it's time the Hunters began to do some hunting."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Finally time to put these annoyances to bed."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "You'll take Anyata and one volunteer, Null will join your team when she returns from training. I'm sure she wants to be on the front lines."

<DeathStar> <Aya> *looks down at the mention of Null*
<DeathStar> <Cass> Be safe, mommy
<DeathStar> *Iceheart mouths 'mommy'*
<kalonZombie> <Æ> Cass... we... aren't playing house right now.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I have one rule, when you find something, you alert everyone. You will also not rush into a suicide run. If you have to fight, by all means, fight, but if we attack Sigma, I want us to win. That means everyone."

<Seraphna> * Kumiko blinks and sighs, "Alright."
<Seraphna> *signs
<DeathStar> <Wind> Though I coul fix that if you wanted
<Seraphna> * Kumiko frowns a bit and shakes her head, signing, 'This is how I was made, this is who I am... if I was deserving I would have a voice. She loved me exactly as I was."
<DeathStar> <Wind> Deserving or not doesn't mean you can't have a voice or later; but I get being loved for who you are

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "The rest of you will submit for upgrades and repairs. The recon team will report in regularly while making rounds. I also need to know if any of you are trained for interrogating a reploid."

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Vile himself may be the best source of intel we have, short of seperating his core and cleaning him of the maverick virus, I need to make sure he retains his memory and data. I'll also need Katrina and Aya to assist in attempting to reconstruct his upgrades."
<DeathStar> 6* Wind sits and talks with Kumiko a while, getting her relaxed
<DeathStar> <Aya> Okay.... *She looks uninspired without Null*
<Seraphna> * Kumiko seems to be a sweet and gentle soul, she eases into relaxing slowly, her heart in pieces over Cheryl's death, to whom she was engaged.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Alright, dismissed for now, I'll send you all mission details over the day as we get them together. Aya, stay behind please."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy rises and moves off with Cass
<Jackieness> <XX> "I'll send you my upgrade requests later." *stands and walks out*
<kalonZombie> 6*Æ gets up and walks out with XX
<Seraphna> * Elayne gets up and picks up Angel from Seraphna's head, she's had a catgon sleepign on it this whole time. And steps out.

<DeathStar> 6* Aya blinks, peering about
<Seraphna> * Anyata gets up and follows XX and Atay.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Come closer hon so we have some privacy."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Hmmmmm. We need to know everything that we have on our enemies. Find the patterns. They will usually stick in their patterns."
<Seraphna> * Elayne moves to find John, while Seraphna waves Aya over kindly.
<Seraphna> Anyata> "We should do research to see if there have been any Maverick signs since the battle ended."

<Jackieness> <XX> "Which is why we need to find their pattern. The tells. Their modus operandi. We need to be able to use their predictability."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "You slept through Mom's meeting."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "You have faith in her, correct?"
<DeathStar> <Atay> Which is....? I thought Wind and Ice said there has been no predictability since they came back this time
<DeathStar> <Aya> Yes.
<Seraphna> Anyata> "There's one thing they all seem to have in common. All of their moves have been to either acquire power or figure out the realities."
<Seraphna> Anyata> "It's a simple observation, I know... but it's better then nothing... is there anything else in our reality they could take hold of for power?"
<Jackieness> <XX> "Not just the Mavericks. There is also Wily and Seinrich. They were working together recently. We just need for one to fumble."

<Seraphna> Anyata> "So we should look into the possibility that he'll recruit new people."

<Jackieness> <XX> "We cannot discount another element in this."
<Seraphna> * Elayne nods and kisses him slowly, plopping Angel on the pillow above them. "She needs our support. She's hiding it well, but she's still broken up over Cheryl."
<Seraphna> * Kumiko finally relaxes for a bit, smiling a little for the first time since her death.

<DeathStar> <Wind> You have a nice smile
<Seraphna> * Kumiko looks down shyly and signs, "Thank you."
<kalonZombie> <Æ> Either way, we're just going out and scouting for now, we won't know what we'll find until we find it.

<Jackieness> <XX> "Think about it. Why would they suddenly start coordinating their efforts? They may both hate us, but their goals are also mutually exclusive."

<Jackieness> <XX> "Coming back from the dead annoys me."
<Seraphna> Anyata> "We've theorized that someone is organizing them, bringing them together, an unknown entity which somehow shares a common bond with all of them. I was beginning to think it was Wily though. German, created the Mevericks to some extent."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Yeah... she seems to want to make you an officer but at the same time doesn't want to look like she's favoring us. That or she's afraid of losing us. I can't tell just yet. She's good at blocking me when she wants to."
<kalonZombie> <Æ> Get used to that trick XX. Sigma's pulled it off more times than I can recall.

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Even at a distance, you're her pillar. Make them all better at what they do."

<DeathStar> 6* The group arrives in the desert, where the rock formations are all blown to hell from two weeks of training - blasts, energy sword cuts, craters, Null bolts lay all over

<Seraphna> Anyata> "It looks like Null was having fun."

<Jackieness> <XX> *comm to base* "We've arrived. Null has already left. Any traces?"
<DeathStar> 6* Aya scans, then has them teleport a few miles. They arrive at a bar where a Null is laying amongst girls fanning her and giving her grapes

<Seraphna> Anyata> "Probably does it all the time. Jeez, does that come with a complimentary super weapon?"

<DeathStar> 6* It's a map of Earth, with x's marked in certain locations
<Seraphna> * Anyata peeks at it.
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Did... Zero do our recon for us...?" *she deadpans*
<Jackieness> <XX> "Now this is interesting."

<Artemis> <Null> He did keep disappearing.
<DeathStar> <Aya on comm> I'm showing her the info
<Seraphna> Seraphna on Comm> "I--- right, do a search and match up these X's to real world locations, let's look for patterns."

<DeathStar> <Aya on comm> Some are cities, some are ruins, some are mountainous regions, some are the middle of nowhere
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I want all of you to return to base and we'll organize two teams to search two of the locations for similarities. We need to handle this quietly. I don't want the enemy aware if we're onto them."

<Jackieness> <XX> *comm* "Alright, but we have to let Null have her happy ending."

<DeathStar> 6* At that moment, both groups would spot movement; a maverick recon group emerges to scan the area
<DeathStar> 6* John jerks and goes low. Atay pauses and leans down

<Seraphna> * ANyata goes low.

<Seraphna> * In Teddy's group, Elayne goes low and brings anyone slow down with her.

<DeathStar> 6* The recon groups in the two separate locations scan, transmit something, then go back into hiding as if they were never there

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Last thing we need is a new form of Roboenza or the Maverick Virus going around." *she frowns* "I'll need to coordinate with Wind on an attack that hits every single location at once. Your mission will be to hit a location and secure it with the least possible damage, so we can collect data. It will have to be in time with the other attacks."

<DeathStar> <John> I suggest we hit a base closest to us
<DeathStar> <John> Not only does that make it seem like we might have stumbled on it, but it protects us

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Hrm... too many maybes." *she looks at Aya* "We need answers while we ready the attack, anything you can get." *she nods to John* "I'll talk to Wind, if we can't get an attack coordinated, we hit it ASAP. Your priority will be to try and prevent them from sending out any warnings."

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Suit up and get ready. I want this to be a clean win, no matter which strategy we use. No one takes any risks. Kill them hard and fast. I want their past selves feeling your punches." *she taps a comms to let Wind know she needs to talk*
