<DeathStar> 6* After making the techs feel guilty with bear tears, much like crocodile tears but used to make one feel guilty, the hostility faded a bit. On the flip side, Null spent her time bumping shoulders with Chou and Chloe, two female techs, and trying to get them to relax a bit. While Aya has spent a few days working on the code, they so far have not found any leads into tracking down X yet. They need a plan to find the Legendary Hunter, but how do you track a legendary Hunter?

<DeathStar> 6* Aya works in the command center, trying to figure out how to find where Eruasia might be located based on what they know. Chloe and Chou sit in their cells and President Wind sits with his two secretaries, Megumi and Kumiko
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina quitly looks out at the ocean, red hair moving in the breeze
<Seraphna> * Seraphna frowns, tapping her fingers together, deep in thought, a bit more relaxed now.

<DeathStar> <John> Be nice if we could get someone who knows how X thinks to find him for us

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "We have two possible contacts for that."
<Jackieness> <XX> *turns in her designs for her new gear and then spent the past time raging about her stupid family*
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Zero and a friend of mine. Both of which were Hunters back in the hayday when he was. Zero was already onto this, and seems to always be a step ahead of us."
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina eyes the new gear again, seeing what XX wants

<Artemis> 6Null checks on Aya again, having her with whenever possible.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "We could try and get Null to contact him again. I'll send out feelers for my own contact. But we should also ask ourselves if X's actions in the past can prove helpful in predicting him now."
<Jackieness> <XX> *had requested a new armor design along with redesigned weaponry; sshe's evidently rebelling against traditional Rollish style*
<Seraphna> * Seraphna sighs. "This is frustrating. They're trying to launch the single most populated land mass on the planet into space and we don't have a clue? Three quarters of our population live on it for goodness sakes."
<Jackieness> <XX> *passes by Sera* "Because my brother is stupid!"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "...Can you predict his movements? You were both made by Dr. Light, you must have some processes in similarity."

<DeathStar> <Aya> Hey. *she brightens up*
<DeathStar> 6* Her blonde hair is longer than ever after her thing in space, and looks like it's darkened in areas. Her eyes also have a shade of darkness to them

<DeathStar> 6* John sends a message to Null, asking if she knows how to get in touch with Zero

<Seraphna> * Seraphna sends out a message of her own to her contact asking about tracking down X.
<Artemis> <Null> Hey sexy lady.
<Seraphna> * In not so blunt a way of course.
<Artemis> 6Null blinks at the message, and wonders.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Do you need to examine my bits or what?"

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Well first I'd like you to try and think like X. And... actually... yes, come to the lab."
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina asks Megumi if the budget can spare 10 million creds
<DeathStar> 6* Cass rides her pony around

<DeathStar> 6* Seraphna gets a response, with an offer for the team to be a certain spot tomorrow - nothing else. It also says no Wind
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Hey Kat." *she motions XX to the table as she sets up a mission for the following day, informing John, Ash, Teddy, XX and Elayne that they're scheduled for it, leaving Null to persue Zero leads*

<Artemis> 6Megumi definitely inquires why
<Artemis> 6Null looks into how she could contact Zero given their time and his habits
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina explains new armor and gear of XX's level - the new model they all upgraded to on the Bot World - costs a lot
<DeathStar> 6* Aya looks with Null, then has her sit, listening to her and then enters a program to run parimeters
<Seraphna> * Kumiko does other secretary things, being kept busy seems to help with her mood.
<Jackieness> <XX> "...I am tired of looking like Roll when I suit up."
<DeathStar> <Aya> It might take a day or two, but it'll come up with probabilities
<DeathStar> 6* Cass waves a cowboy hat
<Seraphna> * Seraphna hooks up several things to XX, taking a profile of her energy signatures and tech, creating a form of search profile to track the same technology in X.
<DeathStar> <Katrina> I also want 1 million to make Teddy 100% dependant without Cass by inputting a Cass life signature into him
<AquaKoala> *Teddy chuckles
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "You look cute in that getup though."
<Artemis> 6Null sits obediently.
<Jackieness> <XX> *just gives Sera a flat look*
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash replies positive to Sera's setup... then asks if he can come to the girls only club NOW
<DeathStar> 6* Aya quietly inputs as things are set into motion
<DeathStar> 6* But one hand slides onto Null's lap
<Seraphna> * Anyata gets instructions to kick Ash in the butt and does so. "I must follow orders."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> *she keeps out of the look thing, just working on getting the gear ready if Meg okays it*

<DeathStar> 6* 1 day later, at the hanger. Having gotten another message to bring the two female techs, the group is there

<DeathStar> 6* John rubs his head at the shuttle
<Jackieness> <XX> *is sitll fuming about her X*
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Not entirely sure, but our boss said it was important that you come with us for some meeting."
<DeathStar> 6* Climbing to the pilot seat; Aya speaks from her Operator position. "I'm hooked up to you all." 6* Privately to Null. "I think your input data is almost done."

<DeathStar> <Aya to Null only> I'll send it to you while on the mission if it finishes

<DeathStar> 6* Cass rides on Teddy; Katrina stays behind to start working on XX's gear and Teddy's Cass signature

<Seraphna> * Seraphna boards the shuttle herself, moving over to a take a seat.

<DeathStar> 6* The two techs sit in the back, arms crossed. Chou feels Null up for food
<Seraphna> * Seraphna reviews things on her datapad, while Elayne peers out a window.

<Artemis> 6Null blinks at Chou and pulls out a thermos container, giving her a ciabatta sandwich.
<DeathStar> 6* Chou chews on it happily; Chloe shakes her head

<AquaKoala> *Teddy lies on the floor

<DeathStar> <John> *nods* Instead of letting it bottle up inside you, talk about it, let it out with others. You're with friends. Because if you keep it inside, you're going to explode, make a mistake, and in the end, that might destroy you - and maybe him

<Seraphna> Elayne> "It's possible he's being misled. The problem with idealists is they want to see success so badly they sometimes become blind to what's really happening around them."

<Seraphna> * Seraphna peers out a window, looking a bit distant for a moment.
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Something wrong mom?
<Jackieness> <XX> *lets out a breath* "Technically, he is my older brother. He was activated and probably built before I was. Big brother hero is now working with the bad people. That sums it all up."
<Artemis> <Null> She wouldn't have to. I'd make it.
<DeathStar> 6* John pats her shoulder. "Wait until you have all the facts. But for now, do what he clearly didn't - talk out your problems with others, and get feedback from multiple people. Don't let your worldview get narrowed, and let yourself become so world weary that you accept narcissic viewpoint that you have to rip out your own land to end war for good by going into space. One war to end them all is nonsense
<DeathStar> 6* Chou beams, brushing back her pink hair and hugging Null; Aya grrrs through the comms

<DeathStar> 6* John brings the shuttle down in a valley area where another shuttle waits, a figure in black and blue armor standing - he looks like President Wind, only he has spikey black hair

<Jackieness> <XX> "Alright."
<Seraphna> * Seraphna rises and smiles softly as she moves to the ramp. "Our contact is here."

<Artemis> <Null> What's wind doing here in a Renaissance Festival get up?
<DeathStar> 6* The figure leans against the ramp, arms crossed, pure 90s cool

<DeathStar> 6* As they get closer they see it's reploid armor
<Seraphna> * Seraphna steps down and moves over towards him. "Hey you."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy rises and moves with them
<DeathStar> 6* Old reploid armor - of the legendary variety
<Seraphna> * Elayne follows out, eyes going wide with recognition.
<DeathStar> 6* The figure opens his blue eyes

<DeathStar> 6* John waits in the shuttle

<DeathStar> 6* Aya huffs and giggles at Null in the comm
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "He's fallen in with a very bad crowd."
<DeathStar> 6* Chou and Chloe walk down, staring at the reploid blankly
<Jackieness> <XX> *steps on to the top of the ramp, arms crossed*
<kalonZombie> <Ash> We need to ground him for a week with no holonet.
<DeathStar> <?> His naivetity always lent that to being a problem. Zero always worried about that before the first Maverick War broke out fully
<DeathStar> 6* John lets out a breath and walks down. <John> Long time no see, Death Star.
<DeathStar> <DS> Yeah. John. *He nods*
<Artemis> <Null> What kind of name is that?
<Artemis> 6Null makes a face.
<DeathStar> <DS> My creator named me after a star that used to be on my arm, and I was created to kill
<DeathStar> <DS> And the factor his last name was Starr.

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "DS here used to lead the Hunters, back when I joined up."

<Jackieness> <XX> *steps down the ramp* "Where is my brother?"
<Seraphna> Elayne> "This is XX, DS."
<DeathStar> <DS> I don't know exactly, but I can help find him. That's why we needed those two. But before we go we should find Zero first. But as you're the leader of the Hunters, it's your call, Seraphna
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I agree on finding Zero. Leaving him to do his own thing has NOT been a good idea, historically."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "He has a horrible habit of getting blown up."
<Artemis> <Null> But he gets better.
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Most of the time.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Crude joke I know, considering the wasteland. But... yeah, we should go after him first."
<AquaKoala> *teddy is silent, listening
<DeathStar> 6* Aya speaks up to Null
<Seraphna> * Seraphna pats Null, "That's why I brought her along. Meet Zero's apprentice."
<DeathStar> <Aya to Null> I think I might know where Zero is. *She gives her a list of three locations he might go - there's a place where the WAsteslands once where before Earth was healed, where he was blown up, to face his past. The second theory is he might go to some place very dangerous to test himself one last time. Third theory? He'll go either after X, or the next best thing - the most dangerous Maverick base he can find to get answers

<kalonZombie> 6*Ash does the "Yo" hand gesture of waving his hand once
<AquaKoala> *Teddy looks proud of being a badass
<DeathStar> 6* Aya passes on what she told to the others
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "So the healing scar, a danger zone, or an even more dangerous maverick base."
<DeathStar> 6* John rubs the back of his head
<DeathStar> <DS> It's hard to say, really

<kalonZombie> <Ash> Divide and conquer?

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I want to not assume he'll go straight for X because that means we're not going to find him. Since we're also looking for X."
<DeathStar> <John> So assuming the last is out, that leaves two
<DeathStar> <John> Does Zero feel he's tested himself enough
<DeathStar> <John> After training Null, I'd say anyone would

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Hrm... the scar is the easiest to check, least likely to be guarded."

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "We could head there while we consider the other two."

<Artemis> <Null> Why would a bear be his apprentice...
<DeathStar> <DS> Then lets go; your shuttle or mine

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Careful dear."
<Seraphna> * Seraphna peers over at the shuttle, then DS's.
<DeathStar> 6* DS peers at Null oddly. "Try to keep up."
<DeathStar> 6* DS' shuttle looks sleek
<DeathStar> 6* He moves up his ramp
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Let's take yours, I'll send the other one up for backup."
<DeathStar> 6* Chou and Chloe shrug and move to go up his shuttle
<DeathStar> 6* John follows, rubbing his ear
<AquaKoala> *Teddy follows
<DeathStar> 6* Cass points ahead, as if directing TEddy
<Seraphna> * Seraphna leans up and kisses John's ear to sooth it, Elayne walking with them on John's other side.

<Artemis> 6Null narrows her eyes at DS
<DeathStar> 6* Inside is a nice green lighting that gives a nice ambient glow. The seats are cushioned unlike Hunter shuttles, there's a mini bar for food, and drinks. There's a bed area and whatnot
<DeathStar> 6* DS sits in the cockpit area, in a different area ala the Falcon
<DeathStar> 6* Away from the quarters with the bed area and the guest area for people to sit
<DeathStar> 6* John closes the ramp once everyone is on
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Oh a bed to break in." <Elayne> "Mom."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy lies on the floor
<Jackieness> <XX> "This is a luxury model."

<DeathStar> 6* He pats it, seeing it's not very new upon closer look
<DeathStar> <John> He must have upgraded it slowly
<DeathStar> 6* John pauses, wondering if they're evn flying until he taps a button and a wall panel lowers and a window is visible - and he sees clouds going by
<DeathStar> <John> Upgraded it a lot
<Seraphna> * Seraphna hrms, "DS always did like his toys."
<DeathStar> 6* Soon they are over Siberia, snow falling
<DeathStar> 6* Flying over mountains and treacherous areas, he works his way into an area no one has been to in a long time
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Oh the memories..."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I spent time in the quarantine you know, with Ariel."
<DeathStar> 6* Despite the planet being healed and repaired so the nuclear fallout and wastes were fixed back to Siberia, they soon reach an area where there's still a crater. The ship comes in and lands half a mile away for some reason
<DeathStar> 6* Landing extensions go down into the snow
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Keeping your distance DS?"
<DeathStar> 6* DS speaks over the intercomm. "No trace radiation, but there's still some signatures of energy coming from it. Something's down there. I don't want to be detected."
<DeathStar> <DS> Can you all survive the snow? 6* Cass gets inside Teddy
<DeathStar> <Chou> I hate the coooold
<DeathStar> <Chloe> Great.
<DeathStar> <Aya on comm> The energy could mess with comms, so be careful
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I can fly in Vacuum, snow doesn't bother me."
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Cold sucks but yeah I should be fine.
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Teddy made for Russian winters.
<Jackieness> <XX> "I am ready."
<DeathStar> 6* DS comes out and lowers the ramp
<DeathStar> <John> *whimper*
<DeathStar> 6* DS throws a fur coat into him
<DeathStar> 6* John puts it on
<Seraphna> * Seraphna nuzzles him. "Get through this and we'll warm up at home."
<DeathStar> 6* DS begins to trek out across the snow and John leans against Sera, sulking as he follows. Chou and Chloe follow, making sad faces
<DeathStar> <Chou> I'm hungry again. <Chloe> Unbelieveable; you're a reploid!

<Seraphna> Elayne> <Your Lunarian DNA should help some with the cold love.> *sheand Sera step out with John*
<AquaKoala> *teddy follows, humming
<DeathStar> 6* As they move, suddenly a sniper joe leaps out of the snow, aiming at them, his visor opens up and he fires three shots at John, then his visor closes

<Seraphna> * Seraphna steps in front and throws up a Wind Shield in front of her and John.
<AquaKoala> *Teddy dives to get John down
<Jackieness> <XX> "..what is that thing?"
<DeathStar> 6* John urks as Teddy dives him into the snow
<AquaKoala> *Teddy rushes towards where it was
<DeathStar> 6* The Sniper Joe's visor opens and fires three shots at Teddy
<DeathStar> 6* It then closes
<AquaKoala> *TEddy jumps to the side to avoid
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash fires at him as his visor opens
<Artemis> <Null> Snow's pretty, but annoying." 6She blinks at the Sniper Joe.

<DeathStar> <DS> That's a sniper joe
<DeathStar> 6* Ash's shot is just a second too late, pinging off the Joe
<Jackieness> <XX> "What a stupid name."
<Seraphna> * Elayne pulls out her blaster and charges, waiting for him to open again.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash readies to fire when his visor opens again
<AquaKoala> *Teddy waits behind where he pops up
<DeathStar> 6* The Sniper Joe doesn't go up and down, it stands still
<AquaKoala> *Teddy tries to rip it out of the ground
<DeathStar> 6* Sniper Joe is lifted
<AquaKoala> *TEddy bashes it on the ground
<DeathStar> 6* Nothing seems to happen; The Joe aims it's blast at Teddy's head and fires, blasting Teddy's head, damaging him heavily. It's visor is open, b ut now it's facing upward toward the sky, instead of straight on
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash fires while the visor is up
<DeathStar> 6* Ash hits the foot
<DeathStar> <DS> You have to get him in the eyes
<AquaKoala> *Teddy roars in pain
<DeathStar> 6* The visor closes
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash gets his spear and rushes for the visor, ready to dodge the shots
<Seraphna> * Elayne growls. "Turn it so it's facing us."
<DeathStar> 6* The Sniper Joe casually begins to open it's visor, firing three shots toward the others after picking itself up
<DeathStar> 6* John shifts to the side
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash flings his spear for the visor while it's open
<Jackieness> <XX> *dashes to the side*
<Seraphna> * Elayne shifts to the side and fires for it's eye.
<kalonZombie> 6*Then tries to dodge the shots
<Seraphna> * Seraphna hops aside.
<DeathStar> 6* The spear slams into it's visor and it explodes, sending the spear flying back to Ash
<DeathStar> 6* It seems very weak
<DeathStar> 6* John moves to Teddy's damage, and DS hands him an energy pack
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash tries to dodge his spear, then pick it back up
<DeathStar> <John> use this on your head
<DeathStar> *er, DS
<AquaKoala> *Teddy does so
<DeathStar> 6* Chou and Chloe pick themselves up from a snow pile
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Annoying prick.
<Jackieness> <XX> "How manu of those thigns are there?"
<DeathStar> 6* DS hurries along toward the crater - they come across more piles of Sniper Joes along the way, a few metools
<DeathStar> 6* Saber slashes on their remains
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Okay, Zero was here, but why the hell are the bots here?"

<AquaKoala> Teddy> Old fortress?
<Artemis> <Null> Mavericks tend to be in Zero's wake
<DeathStar> 6* A Sniper Joe with a shield leaps up. It holds the shield up, invincible somehow
<DeathStar> 6* It then lowers it to fire three shots
<AquaKoala> *Teddy reels and dives away
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash fires while the shield is down
<Artemis> 6Null sweeps forward and slashes into the shots.
<DeathStar> 6* It's hit and blows u
<DeathStar> 6* The shots are taken out
<kalonZombie> <Ash> STOP TRYING THAT.
<DeathStar> 6* The shield blows up
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Nice move."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy rises, loooking annoyed
<DeathStar> 6* The crater, just up ahead, looks like a nuclear explosion went off long ago, and is deep, going down far into the ground - buto ne can slide. Finally, in the epicenter, is a small hole

<kalonZombie> 6*Ash whistles
<Jackieness> <XX> "What was the target of this impact?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "There was no target. This was once a silo. The missles sort of went off inside it."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I suppose there WERE targets, but this wasn't the intended one."
<Jackieness> <XX> "So that entrance goes into the command bunker for the silo then?"
<AquaKoala> *Teddy moves to slide down the slope
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I... don't know. As far as I knew the entire structure was destroyed, X and Zero died in the blast. But Wind's revival of the universe sort of brought them back."
<DeathStar> <DS> Yes and no
<DeathStar> <DS> What happened was Zero was infected by the MAverick Virus, and went completely insane
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Yeah..."

<DeathStar> 6* It looks to be a door made for engineers in case of an emergency, and it looks thick as hell - likely if all of Eruasia is going to be this way, attacking it will be near impossible

<DeathStar> 6* A large circular tube made of some futureistic glass like material, wide enough they can all stand, and wires are all seen on the other side, hundreds and hundreds, and every 10 meters a node is visible in a circular position; what it seems is energy runs through where they are standing, charging the nodes, and this is what powers Erusasia. This is likely one power conduit tube of who knows how many. One can see why Zero has chosen to pick this route - no one will be in it and it'll run through the heart of Eruasia. One can also see what John means if it turns on while they're in it during the length of the miles

<Seraphna> * Elayne rides on John, light as a feather, while Seraphna makes her own way, not the fastest, but dat girl's got stamina, she can also speed up with bouts of flying in hybrid form.
