<DeathStar> 6* Following what appears to be the final battle with the Mavericks under X/Wiendigo, things have been relatively quietly since then. Earthquakes continued to plague Asia and they have had somewhat devastating effects since then, causing many cities to have a lot of damage. However, as Seraphna pointed out, it was better than the alternative. With the overall quiet of their enemy defeated, the Hunter Station's repairs were finally completed and the Station is now able to move along the oceans at will, capable of floating along to various points along the Earth's seas where they need it, and the defenses/shields seem to be back up to full. <DeathStar> 6* Teddy has been given a chip that means he no longer needs Cass with him when he goes on missions, and has been upgraded with some new tech from Katrina, following his battle with the Mavericks - and XX has been given the upgrades she requested, her three chip slots switched out with what she requested, and her armor colors changed, her looks switched, hair color changed, etc. Each reploid, except Ash apparantly, upgraded as desired. <DeathStar> 6* However, the emotional fallout is the worst. Following Null's leaving the Hunters, Aya and Null have seemingly broken up, leaving Aya is an emotional broken shell, and Iceheart has gone with her. And it seems Chou has been spreading word amongst reploids turning them against the Hunters, and there might be problems in the future for them. For now, though, they merely have one active threat still out there as there's no word Wiendigo survived: finding Senreich
<DeathStar> 6* Today is a casual day, a cool breeze blowing along. Wind works in his office with Kumiko and Megumi, while Cass plays with pony. Aya sits in command, eyeing her screen blankly, and Katrina is training in her lab with a sabre, keeping in shape
<DeathStar> 6* Eve watches Aya quietly, arms crossed, sighing at her daughter
<Seraphna> * Seraphna peers over monitors, she looks over at Aya sadly. Anyata is in a training room, the difficulty amped up, having not taken Null leaving well. Elayne peers between Eve and Aya, pouting a bit.
<AquaKoala> *Teddy watches Cass, smiling, having had new weapons and strnger claws and teeth put in
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina finishes her work out and grabs a towel to wipe off.
<DeathStar> 6* News feed shows that there is some human/reploid unrest in London rising
<Seraphna> * Seraphna peers it over. "Great... just great, either someone's causing unneeded trouble, or this could be a sign of Senreich..."
<DeathStar> 6* It appears some humans aren't liking what some reploids are saying - a camera shows it's Chou speaking out and some humans are throwing rocks at her

<DeathStar> 6* Camera feeds show Chou being hit by a rock in the head and humans shaking their fists; officers show up and arrest the reploids

<DeathStar> 6* Katrina walks in, wiping her face. "That can't be good for publicity."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "No, it can't be. I'm more concerned with Ice however then how good we look."

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "If it's a question of defense, we can send a small group out to pick up Chou, Iceheart and Null."

<Jackieness> <XX> *walks into the monitoring room* "This is beginning to annoy me."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> What have we been working on the last 10 days on with 'annoying'?
<DeathStar> 6* She refers to the trips to museums and the vacation they took
<Jackieness> <XX> "That is not what is annoying me. That is." *points at the news reports*
<AquaKoala> Teddy> I not good.
<AquaKoala> *is
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Right, XX, Teddy and Anyata, you will head out and pick up the three. I'll arrange to have their custody transferred." *Anyata has quietly stepped in during this.* "I'm paranoid to believe either route could be a trap to draw us out. So Anyata and XX will keep their teleports charged for a quick return to base."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> I think it's a bad idea.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna pauses and looks at her. "Why?"
<DeathStar> <Katrina> Chou's not a big fan of us; do we really want to be taking custody?
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "In a way, I'm responsible for her feelings."
<Jackieness> <XX> "My question is why do we have to bother? They are big girls."
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Could try and talk to them.
<DeathStar> <Aya> .... I'll have no part of this
<DeathStar> 6* She tosses her headset down and walks off
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Iceheart is misguided due to what happened to her." *she pauses again and watches Aya go*
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina studies Seraphna, and moves back to her lab.
<AquaKoala> *Teddy blinks
<Seraphna> * Seraphna frowns a little and issues orders for a meeting in 30, noting it's not for a mission, but all are needed to attend, she moves over to her seat.
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Should I go now?
<Seraphna> * Seraphna shakes her head. "I'm holding the mission for the meeting."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Whatever." *turns and walks out of the room*
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "The thirty is to give Aya time to cool off. But I feel we need to address something."
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina gets her lab ready for when the team brings back Chou and Ice
<Seraphna> * Seraphna looks into arrangements to have the two transferred, and ponders how to find out whether Null was even with them, she asks for a list of all those arrested.
<Jackieness> <XX> *goes into Katrina's lab* "Why do I feel like a janitor all of the sudden?"
<Seraphna> * Kumiko eyes the newsfeeds. She signs, "Worried."
<DeathStar> 6* It seems there was a list of 30 reploids - Chou and Ice' name aren't even on the list
<AquaKoala> *Teddy sits by Katrina, patting her back
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina glances at the two, and hands Teddy some meat
<Seraphna> * Seraphna narrows her eyes at that and sends and inquiry about their status.
<Jackieness> <XX> *sits down*
<AquaKoala> *Teddy blinks and eats the meant "Thank you."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> I don't know, sometimes I worry about Seraphna. I feel like she's quick to judge
<DeathStar> <Katrina> I mean, we don't know the situation in London, yet she seems sure Chou was in the wrong and wants to go in and clean it up - that's not our mandate
<DeathStar> <Katrina> We don't know if she was out there reading recipes for chicken
<Seraphna> * Elayne slips into the lab quietly. "That's not what she meant. She wants to clean it up on the Reploid's side, in their favor."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> *glances at Elayne* I heard her quite clearly about being misguided, Elayne
<DeathStar> <Katrina> She's letting herself be pulled in too many directions
<DeathStar> 6* Their status is fine
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Yeah, but she means how she's going about whatever she's doing, not about her right or wrong actions."
<Jackieness> <XX> "We can't clean up every mess."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> And how is she going about what she's doing? Since when is wrong in this world to have a public speech about something?
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Is not.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "There's something wrong when you;re giving it to a crowd that breaks your head with a rock. At least, I think that's what she's thinking."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> And she jumped to that conclusion, Elayne, without ever finding out what was said
<Seraphna> * Seraphna rubs her head a bit. Trying to think of what to do.
<DeathStar> <Katrina> I lose faith in my commanding officer when she never bothers to find out what is said before throwing around such words as misguided
<DeathStar> <Katrina> Just because she has some prejudice
<Seraphna> * Seraphna frowns and asks for a report on what was being said and what was going on, a complete incident report.
<Jackieness> <XX> "The reason that speech may have been given is because of what went down on that mission."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> I think so too.
<DeathStar> <Katrina> I think I even have an idea of what was being said
<Seraphna> * Elayne shakes her head. "What do you think it was?"
<DeathStar> 6* Seraphna is promised a complete report in a bit
<Seraphna> * Seraphna sits back. Eying the ceiling a moment.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Tossing unarmed technicians around until they died from blunt trauma. The death of her partner. The way Sigma died."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> The truth. Do you tihnk humans want to hear that X was a complete nutjob and that Sigma was killed by us without offering resistance, and by telling us how to save the day - that we sacrificed him without looking into other means? That he was a 'good guy' almost?
<AquaKoala> *Teddy rubs his face
<DeathStar> <Katrina> They were likely ready to stone her right away
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Yeah..." *she frowns* "This is my fault too..."
<DeathStar> 6* Seraphna is given the report - it seems Katrina called it almost to a T.
<DeathStar> 6* And XX.
<DeathStar> 6 *Chou is telling whoever will listen about how the Hunters need to be called to account for crimes and someone needs to reign them in - that they can't be running around doing whatever they want
<DeathStar> 6* That they can't just being brutes who kill and maim and force women to go on missions to die, and that they can't kill innocent people like Sigma who help them, or toss techs around as weapons
<Seraphna> * Seraphna reads it and closes her eyes. Talking to herself. "The truth... is always the most painful thing." *she takes a breath* "And she's right. I have to clean this up."
<DeathStar> 6* The crowd stoned her immediately upon hearing these truths that the Hunters kept classified - she even revealed the earthquakes were the Hunters fgault
<AquaKoala> Teddy> How though?
<DeathStar> 6* It seems Chou isn't saying the Hunters need to be shut down, but they need someone in charge to make sure they can't be brute
<DeathStar> 6* Seraphna gets a report that there's an explosion at London
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Maybe I'm not fit to lead. Since I took over things have gone horribly."
<Jackieness> <XX> "And there was how Chou thought she could stop the whole thing from firing. Seraphna tried to do things her own way and made it worse."
<Seraphna> * Elayne looks sad. "Mom's falling apart..."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> It's possible Chou could have found another way. I read the transcript where Chou asked for time, and wasnt' given it, but it was a stressful environment; you had Mavericks outside the chamber and 15 mins left.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna peers at the report. "Not good." *she pulls up details*
<DeathStar> <Katrina> Failure could have been life or death - but what scares me is how Seraphna is acting now.
<DeathStar> <Katrina> It's her attitude toward Chou now. If she sees Chou as unstable, it could be projecting
<Jackieness> <XX> "The stress has gotten to her."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "She is, and she knows it. Talk to her?"
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina nods. "I will after she sends you all to London."
<Seraphna> * Elayne taps her head. "I know my mother's feelings better then most. She's trying to be strong for everyone but doesn't know how to go about it."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> One of you might want to talk to Aya too; I think she might be close to quitting herself.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "I will."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> I think she hates Chou
<DeathStar> <Katrina> Irrationally
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Dah.
<Seraphna> Elayne> "I don't need to be present for a briefing and she likely doesn't want me to go anyway. And well... Chou technically stole her girl, but I'll trying to even her out."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Null's friendship with Chou defined this situation."
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Watch Anyata on the mission, alright?" *she moves off to find Aya as Seraphna calls people in while she gets details*
<DeathStar> 6* Aya steps in as Seraphna calls in people, wearing a tactical suit
<Seraphna> * Seraphna raises a brow. "Going somewhere Aya?"
<Jackieness> <XX> "And so the meeting begins." *heads for the meeting*
<AquaKoala> *Teddy sits in the meeting room
<DeathStar> <Aya> To London
<Seraphna> * Anyata quietly takes a seat. Atayna likely feels her shattered emotions right now.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "I'm about to send a mission, as a Hunter, will you agree to go on mission?"
<DeathStar> 6* Wind has Megumi in his lap, petting her, watching the meeting on monitors, sipping some tea Kumiko made
<DeathStar> <Aya> Yes.
<DeathStar> 6* John steps in
<DeathStar> 6* He takes a seat.
<DeathStar> 6* Atay peers at Anya.
<Jackieness> <XX> *takes a seat*
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "You have one objective then. Settle things with Null, and if possible, convince her to come back. We need all our people right now. But that's outside this briefing, can you speak to Elayne while I hold this briefing?"
<DeathStar> 6* Cass rides her pony down hallways
<Seraphna> * Anyata looks forward quietly, in her armor, which she used to never wear outside missions.

<DeathStar> 6* Aya rises and steps out
<AquaKoala> 8Teddy wears nothing, he is a bear
<Kit> 6Megumi eyes Aya go.
<Seraphna> * ELayne moves to Aya, smiling gently. "Hey..."
<DeathStar> <Aya> Yes?
<Seraphna> * Seraphna looks at the others as they come in.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya looks at Elayne, waiting. She looks ready to go to London
<Seraphna> Elayne> "Can we talk a bit before you go? This is about everything that's happened."
<DeathStar> <Aya> If that's what it takes to get to London where Chou and Null are at, fine
<DeathStar> <John> What's the game plan, Boss McTits.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya adjusts her ponytail
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "There was an explosion in London..." *she flusters at John* "That's Boss Seraphna, Mr. McCormick." *she does loosen up a little*
<Seraphna> Elayne> "You're mad at Chou."
<DeathStar> <Aya> ....
<AquaKoala> *Teddy stretches out "Where in London?"
<DeathStar> 6* Aya uses her pheromones to dose Elayne and make her more suspectible. "How are the kids?"
<DeathStar> 6* IT seems to be the jail
<DeathStar> 6* Wind watches the monitor with Aya/Elayne outside the main meeting room monitor
<Seraphna> * Elayne shakes her head a little. "Good... I... hey. Enough of that. Look, don't blame her for what happened. Null didn't leave you for her, and well... there's too many people to blame already."
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Maybe should hurry?
<DeathStar> <Wind> So, Kumiko....do you think Seraphna can keep handling this job, or should Megumi and I find a replacement?
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Correct. Same plan as before, I'm sending a small detachment out to investigate. Attempt a peaceful resolution to what's happening. Lives are important in this."
<Kit> <Megumi> ...
<DeathStar> <Aya> ... Mmm. *she strokes Elayne's cheek, dosing her directly, making her a direct slave* Alright. Tell Seraphna I'm fine. *She orders in a sultry whisper*
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "XX, you're the field officer on this mission. Stick to orders, Teddy and Anyata, I'm sending you, Aya will be joining you as well."
<Seraphna> * Elayne blinks, eyes going blank. "I... I... okay..." *she seems to try and struggle at least a little*
<DeathStar> 6* Aya smiles and pats her, releasing her so mind doesn't have to fight anymore and she forgets all about it
<Jackieness> <XX> "Alright."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Get going. I'll be sending backup if you need it. I shouldn't have waited to be honest."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya moves to the hanger
<Jackieness> <XX> *stands and heads to the hangar*
<DeathStar> <John> I'll go to the backup shuttle
<DeathStar> 6* Atay heads to the backup shuttle
<AquaKoala> *Teddy rises, moving for the shuttle
<DeathStar> 6* Katrina moves to talk to Seraphna off camera
<Seraphna> * Seraphna nods a little, looking thoughtful. Anyata heads for the main shuttle.
<Kit> <Megumi> Should... I go..?
<DeathStar> <Wind> If you want to you can
<DeathStar> 6* Wind sets her down
<Seraphna> Kumiko> *signs* "Don't know, she stumbled, but I think she will pick herself up."
<Seraphna> Kumiko> *signs* "Don't think there's time to find a new leader, we would do better to find a way to balance Seraphna and advise her more closely."
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> 6* The fancy London jail is half demolished from an explosion. Aya studies it
<DeathStar> <Officer> All that's left is some reploid pieces; we're sorry you came all this way for nothing
<Jackieness> <XX> "Have you determined the cause of the blast?"
<Seraphna> * Anyata peers around, visor down, still not talking much at all. She speaks up to ask something however. "Aya, are there enough remains here to account for all the prisoners?"
<DeathStar> <Officer> It seems one of the human rioters got his hand on an old war explosive, ma'am. It vaped most of them
<Seraphna> * Anyata looks to Aya for the answer stoicly.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya finishes scanning
<AquaKoala> *Teddy sits, sniffing and waiting
<Jackieness> <XX> "Has the perpetrator been apprehended or was it a suicide blast?"
<DeathStar> <Aya> Unlikely - it was made to look like it - they were teleported out. 6* The officer blinks
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Old war bomb, points to the Column."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy blinks "Could you figure out where too?"
<DeathStar> <Aya> Doubtful.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Do you know where they were living? <Officer> Well, yes..
<DeathStar> 6* The officer hands them an address
<DeathStar> <Aya> I suggest we try to find clues or maybe Null
<Jackieness> <XX> "We will take it from here."
<Seraphna> * Anyata peers at the officer, she eyes the address and looks it up on internal computers to see what it's like. "Agreed."
<DeathStar> <Aya> See if they got themselves out
<DeathStar> <Aya> If not, maybe their enemies are going after the rest....
<Seraphna> Anyata> "I hope my guess was wrong. They often are and it is calming."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya frowns in worry
<Seraphna> * Anyata frowns. "Shuttle, we've wasted enough time."
<Seraphna> * Anyta moves back for it.
<DeathStar> -Spinning Pupumi-
<DeathStar> 6* They arrive at an old warehouse that's quite large. Outside is an area for making signs set up and the smell of food drifts to the shuttle from inside the warehouse. It looks run down, but it seems to have an area designed specifically for producing food for wortkers.
<DeathStar> 6* Aya walks down the ramp of the shuttle
<Seraphna> * Anyata peers around carefully. "It's seems quiet... maybe they're alright?"
<Jackieness> <XX> *steps off of the shuttle* "Stay on your guard, but show no hostility."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy blinks, moving towards it "Or dead."
<DeathStar> 6* Looking about, she can see a sign on the ground that wasn't taken. She picks it up and on the sign is a funny picture of Null in a chef outfit that says: We Love Chef Null
<DeathStar> <Aya> ...
<DeathStar> 6* IT was drawn in pink
<Seraphna> Anyata> "She cooks for them..." *there's a bit of sadness in her voice*
<DeathStar> 6* Tossing it down, Aya walks toward a set of doors
<Seraphna> * Anyata moves with her.
<Jackieness> <XX> *approaches the doors* "Check for traps before opening them."
<DeathStar> 6* They even pass an area that was being dug out and filled with water for an outdoor pool
<DeathStar> 6* Aya pauses, then just kicks it open
<Seraphna> Anyata> "They seem to have been making a good home here..." *she blinks at Aya's aggression*
<Jackieness> <XX> "We're not dead, so press on."
<DeathStar> 6* Inside the warehouse, about 20 reploids peer over in surprise - there's an area with beds set up, blankets and whatnot on them, and it seems very homey - a large kitchen area where Null is at, with all the supplies a chef would ever need. She even has the chef's hat. There's areas for play and fun. Reploids of all shapes and sizes are here.
<DeathStar> 6* The only thing they lack if holovids and that sort of thing
<AquaKoala> *Teddy blinks and waves "Hello."
<Seraphna> Anyata> "It seems nice here... th-they aren't all that's left are they...?" *she whispers, the cold in her melting away*
<Jackieness> <XX> "Expected more."
<DeathStar> 6* Chloe in a hover chair stares
<DeathStar> <Chloe> You?!
<Seraphna> Anyata> "So you were saved. We came to investigate the explosion and make sure everyone was alright."
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Hello.
<DeathStar> <Chloe> Explosion> What explosion!?
<DeathStar> <Chloe> Where's Chou?
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Jail exploded.
<DeathStar> 6* Chloe stiffens
<Seraphna> * Anyata frowns. "Well, this answers that question. They were teleported out, we don't know where though."
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Be calm, I think she's safe."
<DeathStar> 6* A female child reploid waddles over, all innocent like
<Jackieness> <XX> "And there's that tact."
<DeathStar> 6* She stares at them
<Kit> 6Null tilts her head and sets utensils down.
<AquaKoala> *Teddy nods, smiling and waving to the girl
<Seraphna> Anyata> *blinks and looks down at the child* "Hello lottle one."
<DeathStar> 6* She's a bit like the female child reploid that they adopted from the future
<Seraphna> Anyata> "I know another little one like you."
<Kit> <Null> What are you guys doing here?
<DeathStar> 6* Aya stares at Null
<DeathStar> <Chloe> What happened to her?! Why was she in jail!?
<Jackieness> <XX> "We came because there was an attack on the reploids in the jail."
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Your friends are in trouble and Sera wanted us to help."
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Dah.
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, there's sounds of sirens outside the warehouse
<Jackieness> <XX> "And there is that trouble right now."
<Seraphna> Anyata> "She was saying things in public and people attacked her, they were in... I think it was protective custody. But before we could free her s--- what the hell?"
<DeathStar> 6* Then a human voice. "We have you reploids surrounded - the Hunters have brought you to us!"
<Seraphna> Anyata> "They used us!?"
<AquaKoala> *Teddy reels
<Kit> <Null> What else is new.
<DeathStar> 6* Outside a drone records it all, then flies off
<DeathStar> 6* Chloe stares in rage
<Jackieness> <XX> "Get base on the horn."
<DeathStar> 6* The child reploid runs off.
<Seraphna> Anyata> "This stinks of something... they shouldn't even be persuing this."
<AquaKoala> *Teddy calls Sera
<DeathStar> 6* The comm is jammed
<AquaKoala> Teddy> Jammed.
<Kit> 6Null glances at Aya, peering aside a bit jadedly, then shifts into her armor and pulls out her saber and revolver.
<DeathStar> 6* Blast shots fly in and begin to tear through the walls; a reploid is torn in half
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Comms jammed... teleport likely out as well."
<DeathStar> 6* Aya jerks; a b last catches her and kncoks her back as well
<AquaKoala> Teddy> DOWN *Teddy dives to the ground
<Jackieness> <XX> "Blow a hole in the floor and get everyone down low."
<Seraphna> * Anyata forms her blades and shifts to start deflecting blasts, "Run!"
<DeathStar> 6* Chloe grabs the child and goes low
<Seraphna> Anyata> "XX, you have the buster, get to the hole making."
<Seraphna> * Anyata moves about, trying to cover reploids.
<DeathStar> 6* The reploids panick, dropping low as shots tear through walls; as holes form, they can see a bit more - the cops seem to look a bit....Nazish
<Jackieness> <XX> *activates her personal weapons and then fires to blast a hole in the floor*
<DeathStar> 6* Aya groans in pain, covering a reploid up as best she can as a wall is blasted and falls on top of her and the reploid
<Seraphna> Anyata> "Remember how I said I hoped I was wrong?"
<AquaKoala> *Teddy makes a face, rising and launching his chest missle at them through a hole
<Jackieness> <XX> "Its the Fifth Column."
<DeathStar> 6* XX blasts a hole

<DeathStar> 6* The walking corpse of Senreich curses in german a bit as the flames hit him as the doorway closes, and the wind slices ihm. Suddenly, the trap they all knew about is activated. The room shakes and knocks them flat and things begin to flash
